✓ The Ol’ College TryGave this game a couple weeks worth of my time and can say that it’s FUN and has some new concepts in the “merge world” but very imbalanced. It’s stacked against you and is about as “grindy” as it gets regardless of whether you spend money. You get to a point where the game destroys your settlement and sets you back every 24 hours or so. It’s just uneven and not fair, relative to the time it requires. You lost me b/c of this but I gave it a solid go. Good luck!!.Version: 4.1.0

✓ I don’t know how to feel about the game.It’s so difficult to receive characters to battle with. Once they die in battle you get little spirit orbs or whatever but you can only get 1 or 2 tier 2 character from losing 3 of your tier 3 characters. It makes no sense and characters cost 60 gold to buy and when you need 4 just to reach tier 3 it’s dumb. It’s such a haste just to get characters to battle with that there’s not really a point in playing. You can attack a few time until you lose all troops but after your 2 attacks god knows how long it’ll take to rebuild an army so you can actually progress. Maybe if you guys would change it to where you don’t lose characters that would be great but until then I’m uninstalling the game..Version: 4.0.1

✓ Beautiful Game, Clunky ControlsI have been enjoying the game with some pretty major, game-breaking tension points. When you tell your units to target a unit, an indicator pops up that blocks the health bar of the targeted unit. Once it dies, ideally you want to immediately refocus your units, but you don't know when exactly it will die. In that split second the units scatter a bit and it has actually been the difference several times between a successful seige and a failed one. Units getting stuck and not moving or attacking, leaving the tank to get whittled to death is also extremely frustrating. If you spawn a tank which gets aggrod immediately (so it doesn't move) and spawn two ranged in the same space, the ranged units get stuck. They won't attack even if enemy units are literally in the same space beating up your tank. When the event quest NPCs pop up on your board, their dialogue board blocks the space behind them. Every time you interact with the spot behind their dialogue box, it causes you to press the dialogue box and make it pop up. Sometimes this prevents you from using that space at all. When checking unit stats, the page populates one unit at a time which is REALLY annoying when you want to check Mythic stats because it takes 5 seconds to load them..Version: 4.1.0

✓ Nice game, some issuesThis was a brilliant game to start, but it started getting far too hard to progress, waiting 40 minutes for 5 barrels seems a little too long. That’s cool and all, but there’s also a major bug I’m experiencing at the moment. I opened the app, waited for it to sign in, then it gave me an error message, saying the devs are working on it. The game is fun when you come back and merge all your new stuff, but the attacking is terrible. They AI soldiers are so horribly coded and made it’s just so frustrating to watch your soldiers walk around in circles or get stuck and die. ✓ It could be betterMain reason why Im giving this 2 stars is because for me, the game crashes after a few minutes. Also the loading speed is horrendous. When you open up the game, takes about a minute before I can do anything because it freezes up. I don’t know the right terms, but the game tries to load a starter package, and when it’s loading it, nothing happens. So the game freezes up until it loads it in. ✓ Game is Good, Raids need some workI really do enjoy this game, but like others playing, the raids annoy me. Once you select your units for raiding, what ever island you get stacked against thats it. You either win or lose. Theres no back out and theres no look for a different island. No matter what, you might end up with and island that is over powered and theres nothing you can do about it. Maybe if there was better troop controls like being able to lure one enemy away at a time, but there isn't and even if you try a send a shield/soldier combo so that the shield takes all the attack, he’s to slow moving that once the first attack is over all, your faster troops run by and get slaughtered. ✓ Very unbalanced for F2P playersThe game was fun for about the first 30 minutes but you’ll hit a huge pay wall almost immediately after finishing the tutorial. First few raids you’ll completely dominate but by the 5th raid, you’ll be numerically disadvantaged as AI will have 5-6 level 2-3 defenders and you’re stuck with 3 for boat raids or 2 for mine raids. Obviously that means you’ll be losing your best troops so you can buy more at 120 gold a pop (60 for the villager and 60 for the weapon) for a level 1 troop. Or you can hope the barrels have something other than 1 wood or 1 stone and maybe you won’t have to break open your wallet for another 5 minutes. The game has serious potential but the true setback is the money grabbing developers. Unfortunately, I’ll be deleting the game and my account as I don’t support(with my time or money) games or developers like this..Version: 4.0.2

✓ Lots of potential but..Buggy as hell. The raids, your team often gets stuck and targeting specific units or structures is cumbersome. Some walkable paths are not clear which leads to line of sight issues or the AI getting mixed up. This can also work in your favour with range units though. When your base is invaded, it’s impossible to know where the enemy will land which completely removes all strategy for setting up you building and unit defenses. You run out of certain resources fast thus limiting you, pay for play (better pay $$ for some resources otherwise you’re waiting). UI isn’t smooth at times and awkward (4 different “$ales” being promoted on the screen). I’ll eventually stop because I can’t afford to wait or pay $$. My request, I would like it if my real $$ went to more permanent features/upgrades; I’m paying for temporary resources which can quickly go away due to the nature of this game. ✓ Lack of controlThis game is simple and can be fun if you like merging games with some action to accompany it. The largest issue is the mind numbingly dumb ai that governs your units. They simply will peel off and attack random things. This leads to you being severely crippled and eventually losing all your units. The wisp system is useless as you don’t get anything close to recoup the losses. Tier 3 units are mandatory so getting a bunch of random tier 1s that may or may not be who you lost can be frustrating after you lost. Strategy means nothing if you can’t control the course of your play through..Version: 4.1.0

✓ No Troops = No Raids = UnplayableNo retreat button on raids; if a high lvl troop dies it’s back to square one. Played for one hour & ran out of troops that could not be recovered. Had no choice but to commit to a raid once the boat left shore which seems like a trap. Not worth playing. Update: Very Unbalanced on raids…Lvl 12 now and you almost need to pay to get any further because this AI directed “Shalmon” launches a raid on your village to pillage every barrel/weapon earned. Furthermore, when you raid, expect all your troops to die because you cannot withdraw from a raid. Most raids consist of you attacking a way OP opponent or AI so even if you deploy just one troop because the game forces you too…you eventually get nowhere. Keep in mind: Every 24 hrs an AI is going to attack your village and steal all your weapons and harm your village unless you sacrifice even more limited troops you need for raids… It’s just a farce…Highly imbalanced to get you to pay for more barrels to get nowhere. ✓ Fun but shallowThe mechanics are actually pretty good and it’s got a cute art style I enjoyed. The big glaring problem is the permadeath of units. It’s completely unsatisfying going on raids and coming back with nothing but wisps, basically corpses. Then, if you’re luckily you can summon back a few low level versions of units you just lost. The whole process is demoralizing and just detracts from the experience. Should remove this and possible just add a cool down timer or increase unit tiers or allow for unit evolutions. Seems like there’s a better solution than what’s been implemented. Glad I figured it out quickly..Version: 4.2.1

✓ Love the game, can’t play due to constant crashingStarted playing 5 days ago. Was surprised how much I enjoy the game, even with some glitches and frustrating bits (team doesn’t follow instructions, moving up not intuitive, some crashes). But after 5 days, the game is unplayable. Crashes went from once a day to every time I open it. Paid for a package, and now I can’t use it. Contacted support and… crickets. ✓ Great Game, but has its flawsHonestly this game is a lot of fun. It's unique and addicting. Perfect for me. I have 2 gripes with this game though. 1) it crashes quite a bit...not the worst because it's pretty quick to get back in and pick up what you were doing quickly 2) Many times your units are clueless. They run around and get killed rather than attacking intelligently. This is especially frustrating when you click to focus on an enemy, but your troop is stuck shooting at a useless building or tower and ends up dying. Additionally to this, the game needs a balance. There are many raids thay simply aren't beatable in my opinion. I'm going into some of them, with a full team of gold units and get wiped clean..Version: 4.1.0
