✓ App Store headline liesApp Store description says you can create cute frames free. Um, no you can’t. Not even simple side by side ones. No matter what you try you have to start a subscription. Most ad based apps provide some kind of limited feature set in exchange for dealing with ads. If you cannot generate enough ad based revenue to provide even limited features, then your business model is ad hoc at best..Version: 6.3.1

✓ Predatory App; Avoid!If I could rate 0 stars I would. This app specifically doesn’t state it requires in-app purchases until you’ve already downloaded it and go to use it. It presented me with a monthly subscription, so I selected that. I just noticed it has been charging me WEEKLY. When why and how? This app purposefully aims to deceive and make information regarding subscription muddy and confusing. There are weekly and monthly subscription options, but apparently they charge you for just whatever. I was never even able to use the app to begin with because it wouldn’t let me finish the process of making my first collage. Avoid this app, there are better, free, and more forthcoming apps available!.Version: 6.4.1
✓ Nice functionality - scammy tacticsShows up as free with in app purchases. However, you go in to do something and it immediately asks you to sign up and pay (they do have a free trial). ✓ Can’t useThe app indicates there’s a premium option and leads you to believe you can use the free version, lets you go through the entire process of creating your collage and before you can view it requires you to pay for it. I’m not opposed to paying for it, it’s only $3 but I’m annoyed I was mislead and now going to download a different app on principle. I download the app, choose the photos to make my collage, and get stopped by the subscription pop-up. I tap on the X button and it sends me back to choosing my photo's. It’s nothing more than a marketing scheme doorway to paying a ridiculous $12+ ($2.99 per week + tax) monthly for an app that most people over 16 will use a few times within a year. I guess they think the $2.99 is all people will notice and assume it’s monthly, as most apps are, only to be bitten in the rear end. I’m not convinced that any truly decent FREE apps exist anymore. I get ads, but when they overwhelm the apps itself, it makes it useless or irritatingly slow. My favorite app gives you 60 seconds to complete a word puzzle, yet between each 60 sec puzzle I am stuck waiting on 90 sec worth of ads! Ugh. 😖.Version: 4.7.1
✓ Terrible AppI just needed to make a quick photo collage for an assignment and downloaded this app. First, this app is not free and you can’t make a collage unless you complete an in-app purchase. Second, I agreed to subscribe to a 3-day trial with a plan to unsubscribe and delete the app right after I was done with my collage. However, after subscribing the app froze on the in-app purchase pop-up. Finally, when I confirmed the subscription I saw the checkmark that verifies the purchase, but this app is not showing up in my subscriptions. I restarted my phone. I logged in and out of my apple account. Did the app fail to subscribe or is it another fault in the programming? Am I going to get charged for an app I don’t want and don’t have use for beyond one collage that I couldn’t complete because the app froze? There is nothing about this app worth the hassle. Too many apps in the app store are sloppy garbage whose only purpose is to steal people’s money. This is just one more garbage app to throw in the pile..Version: 2.9

✓ Don’t waste your time — nothing freeWhat I hate most is when these apps waste my time. First of you can’t select pics from any album which is a major fault. You can only upload from recent, favorites, screenshots, selfies and panoramas. If you have pictures in an album to make it easier to find, you’ll have to search for it in all your pictures. Then as soon as you make a collage a pop up jumps up prompting you to upgrade. If you X out, it will go back to selecting your layout. ✓ Absolutely useless.I can’t even use this app, as soon as you try to use it, it gives you a pop up and takes you to the previous screen when you close the pop up, and then the ad pops back up when you try to move forward. How about not marketing your slipshod product as free when you have to subscribe to have the privilege to use basic features of an app? How about that app developer? Oh wait, that’s right.
