✓ Refund me, I can’t even play!Seems like a great game... - Took 3 reboot to be able to start a new game(clicking to select an empty slot for a saved game didn’t work). - I can’t even get over the first tutorial screen (where it says the types of attack dodges etc); the game freezes each time (5 up to now) and I must reboot the app. - I can’t even use the Help in Parameters to contact you, tried 4 times without success, and I rebooted the app each time. ✓ Controlling the camera with a controller is a painSeems like it could be good, but I can’t even get past the first few minutes before getting frustrated with the camera controls. Playing with an Xbox one S controller, and for whatever reason the camera keeps wanting to pan down so I’m looking straight down. Also, the view controls seem sluggish as well. When I adjust the sensitivity, it only appears to adjust the vertical camera sensitivity. I’ve tuned that up/down all the way and the horizontal view control seems to be marginally affected. If controlling the view with a controller improves, I would love to rate this higher because I love all of the Souls games, and being able to play a game like that on the iPad would be great..Cl65 aviatorVersion: 1.0.34

✓ Lesson learned.First time spending money on a mobile game. Instantly regrettable. I literally paid seven bucks for an artsy cinematic and a nifty title screen. After several consecutive crashes, I return to the App Store to be reassured that my phone and iOS are compatible. So, like many of you, I began scrolling through the reviews for troubleshooting help. Lo and behold, I find a trove of developer responses suggesting an iOS 13 or higher requirement. “That’s funny,” I thought, re-referencing the collapsible compatibility tab to reiterate the existence of the statement “iOS 9.0 required” for due diligence. I decided to indulge myself afterwards with a thoughtful moment, eventually reconciling with the fact that 9 and 13 are completely different numbers prior to concluding that there’s clearly something unscrupulous about a company knowingly advertising a product with erroneous specifications..Ghostface ChrisVersion: 1.1.26

✓ Decent Mobile GameThe game itself is decent, the story line is great. The graphics are just amazing I connected my iPhone 11 Pro Max to my 4K tv and played the game it was just amazing, you are able to see the amount of detail that has been put into the game. When you are attacking the enemy the rate of attack is so slow doesn’t matter how fast you press the buttons on your controller your character has only three attack combo rate after which the character takes a pause which takes the fun right out and one more thing the game itself is not a fast pace moving game if that’s what you are looking for. To be honest if they can make the pace of the game a bit faster I would highly recommend this game and the money will be well spent but until than I think just the graphics and story line is just not enough to recommend the game..Nomi-NoumanVersion: 1.1.26

You spend ages trying to defeat something and if you have to pass that way again it’s back and without a map you spend most of the time walking round lost. ✓ Great Game, Poor EnglishI just feel like a game of this caliber should have a better English adaptation; the poor use of English grammar really breaks the mood of the game. The misspellings throughout the game create a jarring experience against the tone of the story (and the script itself doesn’t make much sense, either in story, concept, or linguistics). The voice acting is...odd. It’s stilted and monotone; I get that it’s trying to create a dark and somber ambiance, but the nuance and inflections that convey the necessary emotion simply aren’t there. It’s like the tonal rules of Chinese were just converted into English (and at certain points in the game, the captions are straight-up Chinese. Lol). Also, whenever you encounter a locked door, the text reads “Cannot be open from this side.” It should be “Cannot be opened from this side”, as an active past participle. For $7, the English shouldn’t be a “good enough” cultural attempt by non-English speakers to “try their best.” Get someone who speaks fluent English as a first language to review the script and make it read like it wasn’t hammered out by a third-grade ESL student. Just fix it. That said, the combat is superb, and the character move sets are as infuriating as they are satisfying once you master them. Would be 5 stars as the best game available on mobile if the story made a bit more intuitive sense and the English adaptation were taken more seriously. Thanks!.Stmikey7Version: 1.0.34

✓ Needs more polish and tuningThis game is almost a brilliant adaptation of the Dark Souls formula for mobile but stumbles in areas where it matters most. It maintains the awkward input buffering system from Dark Souls that leads to actions happening long after the button press, but is made to feel even worse because of touch controls and a complete lack of customization on touch button placement and size. The game also juggles too many progression systems, amplified by managing multiple characters. While leveling is a shared resource the talent/perk trees are not, and acquiring the items to necessary to progress multiple characters through those trees is a slog. Leveling also feels tedious thanks to the incredibly slow pace of dedicating bones at an altar, little quality of life things like this really drag down the experience of a mobile game. Voice acting and dialogue are amateurish for this "AAA but mobile" style game. This isn't the end of the world but it hurts an already flawed experience. I really wanted to love this game but it simply doesn't have the polish necessary to make an Dark Souls adaption really work on a mobile device. Many issues are fairly minor and the game could be amazing if they're addressed, but as is Pascal's Wager is just disappointing and frustrating to play unless you're desperate for something new to play on your iPhone. You're better off spending your time on other mobile games or simply turning on a console to play Dark Souls..DTFlipVersion: 1.1.26

You won’t even get a pop-up saying there in-game purchases. It’s a hidden sales technique. They should, like most games, state this in their description or have the pop-up upon purchase stating there is in-game purchases. Instead, though you are here, they telepathically want you to understand that you should go to their website to read this (of nice again, though it’s not stated here). I hope this comment urges them to post it on their Apple purchasable description instead of expecting you, the consumer, to go out of your way to find out this discrepancy. Great gaming experience, wonderful graphics, great music and decent vocals. However they don’t mention at any point before purchasing, that you are NOT purchasing a full game. ✓ Early impressionsGame is very pretty on iPhone 11 and 2019 iPad Air. I won’t comment on too much now on story as I am not sure. I can say early on that the camera needs to have some adjustments because it feels like you are way to close to the character. This makes it a bit difficult to see where you are going and what you are doing. In a game like this with multiple enemies and levels view is important as without it it is hard to even see where you are going. Another thing is the game pad controls only show a Xbox even if you use a PlayStation controller. The final gripe early on is the inability to fully map controls. ✓ Great Game as bloodborne but...I love the genre of dark soul and this is one of them to be part of moblie. The story line is great and the graphic is fine to be on moblie, but there is some issue with the game feature and wish to be fix or clean so it can be great. If you reading this developer, I highly recommend polishing some issue below as it make the game feel smoother to play since I love to play it more once it’s polish. Problem and issue: 1) using a controller is highly recommended but the turning and movement felt so slow and sluggish 2) Why is there no layout for ps4 controller and it only show Xbox controller in the intro and setting 3) attacking with controller felt delay and the response of it is slow 4) can we have fast travel when we come across a resting point in order to go to different resting because it painfully to walk back with the slow movement 5) managing item such as using healing or equipment felt sluggish which need a fix or polish 6) doing a jumping attack from ledge or high place is painfully frustrated when combining the slow movement of the character and sluggish turn 7) Targeting in a one on one combat (pve) need some improvement since my targeting will go away in short of time 8) The frame rate is inconsistent sometime.Sharkkiller1224Version: 1.0.28
