✓ Really good but…It’s a really good app to learn how to play your guitar, I’m on my first lessons and already enjoying it! The only problem is the premium. You need it to learn your favourite songs from what level I am on. I find that annoying as some people really want to learn their favourite songs but they can’t afford the premium (like me). I understand that’s how it makes the money but I think it’s a bit pricey. Other than that it’s a really good app to learn guitar like I said in the beginning. I’ve already learnt so much more than a YouTuber was trying to teach me. I love it. Finally I can learn to play guitar without watching 30 videos to understand what 1 video is trying to teach me..Times table rockstarVersion: 7.6

✗ Absolutely TerribleWhen I decided I wanted to play guitar I downloaded this app. I was completely new to guitar and therefore had to tune it before I could play. The app didn’t help me with this at all if anything it made it more difficult as it gives you no indication of what to do at all and even though I knew you had to turn the tuning pegs it was so tedious that I resorted to download another app which was so much easier to use. Once I eventually managed to tune my guitar, I did the first 2 activities but when I actually came to the part when you start to pluck the 6th string on the different frets I completely gave up as it refused to recognise the notes I was playing. After 3 hours of frustration gave up on playing guitar all together after using this app. The activity wasn’t difficult and I knew I was doing it correct. It also wasn’t my microphone as it recognised all the other notes I played up until that point. I would not recommend this app at all as it is so frustrating that you will find yourself losing the will to carry on playing guitar and frankly I think that a more effective way of learning guitar would be to be taught it by an ape. I was bitterly disappointed and believe that it isn’t even worth the one star rating I have awarded it..RayirviiVersion: 4.7

✗ Great for learning only problem is the recognitionI’ve only just started playing guitar, so at first I just thought I was playing some notes wrong but after speaking to some friends, who also play guitar, they said it wasn’t me but the app. I have been struggling learning due to not recognition, mainly the chord Am, if the recognition was better that would make it a lot easy to learn I have ended up spending at least 30 mins trying to play/learn Am but it just isn’t recognising it. I love JoyTunes I have also got SimplyPiano which is just amazing i have been learning for around a year and there hasn’t been any problems. I know this is pretty new and it harder to recognise the notes, but it’s at the point where i cant learn anything else because of it..Mialily13Version: 3.10
