✓ Frustrating AppThis is one of the most frustrating apps I have attempted to use. I am able to store waypoints/places, etc. but when I attempt to actually use them to create routes, I get nothing but frustration. When I first started using the app, it would create the routes pretty well, but now it only creates the straight line, simplified route that is completely useless in the boat. And equally frustrating, I’ve never been able to get this app to sync with my Simrad unit in the boat. I’ve submitted requests for Assistance several times, and the email responses always say something like “update your app” (which I already did) so that’s useless too. I also upgraded my Maps with the Navionics expansion card. I love the details.I can also set a waypoint without having a straight line. It actually navigates me around the Cape may peninsula. ✓ Good start but some problemsHas a lot of good features. Not everything has synced properly yet but will give it time. My biggest bugbear is that when manual routing, the app does not show or allow you to select any of your existing waypoints. Routing is done by you adding new waypoints on a blind map. Other apps, and the Simrad MFD’s themselves, allow you to create a route by selecting one by one from your own waypoints on the map allowing you to route between known points.
