Total War: MEDIEVAL II for Positive User Reviews

First review10/10 I remember this game and they’ve done an amazing job. Love that there are no in app purchases, just the full game! Also big shout to the audio, makes it even better..Version: 1.3

Epic strategy pc gameBased of a computer game that has been ported to IOS, In my eyes definitely the best Ipad game to date. You get to choose a faction from medieval Europe and try and build army and diplomacy on the overworld map, battles are fought in real time and you get to command your forces in a map, trying to use tactics like flanking, breaking enemy morale and various others. May seem expensive but it actually feels like a proper game on the ipad, and doesnt have pop-ups or in app purchases. And being a PC port you know you are getting an actual game to enjoy. Anyway if the genre interests you, check out a video review somewhere, its well worth it. Some critiques: have only played on Ipad but couldnt imagine playing this on a phone, would probably suck. Controls can be a bit fiddly, forget to deselect units in battle or clicking on certain units in the overworld..Version: 1.3

Twm2Sound needs shorting and y have u took fast cheating units out I’ve spent 13 pound I want to play game the way I want please 🙏.Version: 1.2.3

Better than the originalThe iPad version runs much better than the original PC version with smooth animations and well rendered textures on the units. The interface is intuitive and easy to control the units. There is mention of a in App purchase (Kingdoms) but I can’t see this option in the game..Version: 1.3

Brilliant UI and mechanicsI love Medieval 2 so much, and this mobile port is a triumph. The UI on the campaign screen is perfect for small screens. So many of the information pages are better than the original. Many of the secret values have been revealed, for example the purity stat for priests. The stats on the main faction screen are brilliant and I wish they were on the PC version as well. The battles are less clunky than Rome on mobile. I love the work they did porting Rome to mobile but this is even better and I hope that many of the choices they made for this port make it to the Medieval 2 remaster that I hope and pray Feral is working on right now..Version: 1.3

GoodGoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood.Version: 1.3

Best Strategy Game of All TimeFinally the best strategy game of all time is here on the iPad. It is just amazing. A must buy for all strategy game lovers!.Version: 1.4

Best mobile war game PERIODIf you’re on the fence, this is the best game on mobile for building an economy and raising an army and conquering the world. The campaign is amazing but you can also set up custom battles and defend your castle or assault one. It’s just like the original game on PC and even has updated graphics. In short, it’s awesome. Download it and you won’t be disappointed. It’s $15 for a reason. I hope they port Shogun next!.Version: 1.3

DownloadingBeen downloading onto my iPhone 13 for hours now and it’s stuck at a certain point. Wouldn’t bother buying it.Version: 1.2.3

This gameThe game is great especially with the new update and the adding of the other campaigns although one problem i have having in the grand campaign currently as England I don’t know if this is happening with other factions but around the third row of family members is that even though they are married they aren’t having kids and at all and the option to marry a family member to a random doesn’t show up.Version: 1.4

Probably best game out out on mobile devicesAs I played this game for the first time, it felt so fun but boring at the same time and dint feel fun once I heard that the pope has to like you or no one else does, one time I played as France, got Rome and tried to become friends with Spain and other catholic nations and all of them said no, maybe it was just that the game may have lagged but overall no other problems! (Keep up the good work 👍).Version: 1.4

Total war in iOS? Yes!!!I love this series and it’s amazing to play on my iPad. I use the Apple Pencil and it’s easy to select or move things in the game. It’s just like I remembered minus a few things to make it work on iOS (completely understandable). Since putting the game on my iPad I have won the grand campaign four times. Are there plans to bring the expansions to iOS? The next game in the series is Empire Total War, and it might be the best version of Total War. I love how it encompasses more of the globe and adds real time naval battles. Is there any chance you all are bringing that to iPad? because I need to preorder.Version: 1.3

Brilliant total war strategy gameJust got total war medieval 2 around 2 weeks ago and I have to say it is one if not the best mobile strategy game there is. Definitely worth the money if you enjoy playing grand strategy games and have the time to invest hours into the game. There is a few things though, excluding the occasional bug, that I want to mention. Firstly, I think it would be a nice addition to the game to make the papal states a playable faction. This would allow you to control the pope and in doing so excommunicate any factions you wish to, control the inquisitors around the map and launch crusades. I also think it would be nice if a city around the strait between Sicily and mainland Italy was created, maybe Messina or some other settlement, like the PC version of medieval 2. Apart from those 2 things I mentioned and the occasional bug, medieval 2 is an absolutely brilliant game. Definitely worth buying..Version: 1.4

Great on campaign map, battles a little buggyThis port is perfect for iPhone. While playing on the campaign map is intuitive and smooth, the battles can prove difficult. The controls work, but on a smaller screen can prove annoying when issuing orders. I’ve been able to utilize the pause button, which is essential if you want to have nothing go wrong, this has helped that issue a bit. Overall, still the Total War we know and love..Version: 1.2.3

The best game on the iPad ever! This is well worth the money and will give you strategists out there plenty of hours/days/months/years! Of gameplay. I loved this game when it came out for pc all those years ago and this iPad version feels even better to use. It’s smooth and touch screen intuitive. Took me a while to work out the controls but worth it! Don’t be put off if you begin to lose at some point… the worst thing you can do is begin a new game. I recommend persevering as the game can turn on a dime… there’s nothing better than fighting back after a tough few hours surviving and then beginning to conquer everything. This game builds character and you have to earn it to win it! Enjoy the ups and the downs and you will reap the rewards eventually. Don’t give up!!!.Version: 1.3

New gameCompany of heroes is a good game but it is hard to play for a long time I’m like medieval to in Rome Total War how you can do campaigns and stuff like that if you do make a new game you should combine company of heroes and the stuff you have in Rome Total War and MEDIEVAL II where you can build your units and attack say Germany or do World War II with it instead of small battles here and there for a set plan instead of you making your own future.Version: 1.3

Amazing gameI love the game always has been a big fan of total war, never could have played it because I never had a pc but when this game came on mobile I was excited, though I wish the AI was more smarter in battle, in siege battle they would group up in the town center and sometimes they wouldn’t move from the walls. Some things I would like to see in the game is multiplayer mode. It would make the game more fun. I also would the love the ability to have mods in the game just like how pc are able to mod the game..Version: 1.2.3

This is an amazing port!It runs very smoothly and battles work like a charm with touch controls. Feral Interactive does a great job with all of their ports. However, I would like to suggest for this team to add the ability to change settlement names like in the original. The feature is small but adds a like to role playing..Version: 1.3

First time set upFirst time set up won’t download. It says there is not enough room when there is very much enough room. You guys advertised 3d battles, yet I can’t play them. If this is not addressed soon I want a full refund you guys sold me a broken game. The key feature of total war is the battles without them this is a poor man’s civilization…I didn’t want that at all. Again if you guys can’t fix this today i want my money back today. Thank you. Btw just bought it and can’t play it. You guys did good on time but shïït the bed on this one..Version: 1.2.3

Awesome - but could still be better. If you enjoyed this game back in the day when it was first released, you won’t be disappointed. This is the first game for a while I’ve spent so many hours playing on the IPad. Sometimes a little awkward to use, but I think this is down to creators maybe not being super innovative with the controls. Overall, awesome game and considering the price, I hope there is updates to come..Version: 1.2.3

10/10Can’t wait for medieval kingdoms.Version: 1.3

Great GameHave always loved this on the PC and so glad it’s now on iPhone. Graphics great. Just can’t work out how to manually change taxes in my provinces!!!.Version: 1.2.3

NicePretty good, doesn’t seem as fluid as Rome Total war on iOS but we’ll see the improvements I’m sure. Can’t work out how to merge my units together though, to take smaller units and make them larger.Version: 1.2.3

Total war medieval 2A touch glitchy …. Stops halfway through battles and you have to start again on I pad…. Shame it’s not quite there yet…unlike Rome total war… nailed it on the I pad… I will do as the developer has suggested and update ….Version: 1.3

Legendary GameOne of the best games of my childhood played on computer, worth reliving your memories now available on mobile. Good job feral, exactly as it says and in pictures is the games.Version: 1.2.3

Best game on iOSThis (like ROME) is the best game on iOS. Pay once and play. Not a money grab game. Please bring warhammer to iOS next..Version: 1.3

OutstandingHats off to you guys on this & Rome and expansions, some of my favourite old school games I can now play on my phone, not only is that great but the fact that there is a “real” strategy game on a phone other than spend £2k a months or be online 24-7 type, if only we could get some mods on the go lol. Great work !! please get the rights for civilisation 4 & expansions and I’d probably never need a lap top ever again HHahah.Version: 1.4

Absolutely amazingThank you so much.Version: 1.2.3

Love it. Just waiting for the dlcI absolutely love it! I first heard about the series 5 years ago by chance when it was first on pc. I never got to play it but I always watched others play it. When I saw Rome go on mobile I was happy. I played on it for a long time and Macedon grew on me. Then I learned about Medieval 2 going on mobile and I was just as excited. I have the game now and it’s just a good time for me. The next best thing for me is that Kingdoms dlc. I’ve heard much about it that it’s a great dlc and adds more immersion and gives people an opportunity to play against each other. When the time comes, I will be ready to test myself against all the pros, especially my Total War hero, Pixilated Apollo. Oooo I’m so excited!!!.Version: 1.3

Love it!!I love the total war games I hope they add total shogun 2 and total war napoleon to the iPad as well!!.Version: 1.3

Great game genreHonestly I am a big fan of the early to late medieval period but I don’t have anything to play any good medieval games on and I one day wonderd just to go see if medieval 2 would come to mobile and it was and I was quiet happy.Version: 1.3

Incredible game but..When I first got the game it was extremely fun I enjoyed playing the campaigns aswell as the battle scenarios I also enjoyed the large variety of units as it made every faction feel special. But a few things bug me too, one of the problems being how if you were defending a town units will often get stuck on buildings and occasionally ignore your orders entirely But aside from that and a few other bugs it is a very fun and strategic game that I would definitely recommend.Version: 1.4

More games in the fieldI’d like to see more games in the future such as empire total war and Rome two total war and could you do a mod friendly version.Version: 1.3

Great PortQuality of life improvements since the Rome editions. Works flawlessly with my stylus, didn’t even have to play around with iOS settings. Ai control of tax makes settlement management much less tedious. Only thing missing from the original is the ability to side by side settlement list and build menu..Version: 1.2.3

Please continue making the rest totalwar games!!I’ve been counting the days for this one to come out the first rome totalwar was excellent but this one is just on another level when it comes to game play and unit armor upgrades. Please continue to make the rest for mobile and don’t stop!!!.Version: 1.2.3

Yeah,Been waiting for this for a long time, graphics sound and unit detail cannot fault. The formation situation with having too keep both fingers in the screen otherwise it cancels is really annoying, i’m sure we shall see that updated soon though!.Version: 1.2.3

Great game one minor issue of mineI’ve been playing a lot so far as England and the HRE but one small issue I’m having is once its mid-late game I can’t find a lot of my family members cause I have a lot of generals or I’m too big so it hard to find them. If you can add in the feature from Rome total war were in the family tree you can choose to look at the general and where they are on the map that would be super cool. Either then that I’m having a blast. Definitely worth 20$.Version: 1.2.3

Liam RedbeanRuns like a dream, over the moon it has been realised as an app just as enjoyable as the PC version please realise more total war games in the future.Version: 1.2.3

A beautiful gemI have been playing it non stop for weeks now and I can’t get enough of it. It’s beautiful truly.Version: 1.4

Lost Track of TimeI can spend hours playing this right in the palm of my hands now which is incredible. Such a great port as well with relatively easy to learn gameplay mechanics and a very user friendly interface. They should definitely release the expansions similar to how they did with their Rome Total War ports!.Version: 1.3

Great game with some minor bugsThis game is almost a completely perfect port to mobile, in my case IPad Pro. The only issues I have with it are dealing with the mouse and keyboard controls. Most keybinds are carried over from PC which is amazing as it comes second nature to me, but, for some reason they tend to also have a side effect of halting selected unit orders. So, for instance, space bar to see unit orders will then cancel the orders. Or using wand to move the camera maybe to get closer to the unit you want the selected unit to attack or just to get a different view will tell whatever unit to stop doing whatever it was doing. Hopefully these bugs will be fixed soon but still an amazing port..Version: 1.3

Great Game! This game is brilliant so much fun and can spend hours playing it. I would absolutely love to see a ww2 type version of this game same layout and format but just with ww2 battles and soldiers, I would happily pay money for a game like that. Anyway great game (please make a ww2 or ww1 version)😭.Version: 1.2.3

HelpIt’s a great game and all and I really love it but what annoys me SO much is when heading towards a holy crusade troops can apparently sneak away and leave the army which annoys me so much. It would be great if you could get rid of this..Version: 1.2.3

AwesomePreordered and waited until I could install it . It plays smoothly and looks amazing. I’ve been waiting for this since I was a kid..Version: 1.2.3

Need More factions,I waited 2 years for this to come out on mobile! Finally I can play it from anywhere. Please add more factions to the game such as Mongols, Timurids, Normans, Aztecs and so on. Also I want to mention, during the battle, you can’t use the left part of the screen with two fingers to align a large army. It doesn’t register that for some reason. So I have to use my to fingers and hold the middle part of the screen and pan all the way to the right of the screen. So my front line isn’t very wide because of this. It might just be my device only (iPhone 11 pro max) but please address this issue and I’m hoping it gets fixed. Thank you for releasing the game and best of luck!.Version: 1.2.3

Best total war comes to iOSAfter a few long years of waiting for a new total war game (old I guess) to come to iOS it has finally happened and does not disappoint. If they could have added more things to make it more unique than the pc game would have been better but hey that game is already Great so I can’t complain. Good jobs guys very well done.Version: 1.2.3

We need more!!!The rerelease of the total war games is amazing! With this we need the other games!.Version: 1.4

NiceIt’s awesome. Is it possible to add the expansion to the game?.Version: 1.2.3

Where is the Welsh and Irish? It’s a very good game but just one question, where are the Welsh and Irish like, this game is starting to get boring because no factions are added yet. Please put some new factions to make the game less dull please, thank you :).Version: 1.3

Amazing gameUsing the iPad Pro 12.9 with mouse and keyboard takes me back to the good old days of playing in pc however the graphics looks far better than I remember one gripe I have is that the mouse scroll is inverted I wish there was an option to change that other than that it’s been awesome to play this again after so many years y’all have outdone yourselves again feral interactive.Version: 1.2.3

Mediaeval 2 total warMediaeval two is a great video game to see it's on the Apple store now that's great h I look forward to playing it very soon hopefully mechanics are the same as the PC version I think it's a great strategy game 450 years of different periods in history for your very interested in history period..Version: 1.2.3

Brilliant. More than worth the money!I have to say I was sceptical when I first heard Medieval II was coming to mobile even when I had been playing Rome without any problems. However, upon paying for and booting up the game, 7 hours later I had utterly forgotten previous concerns. Whilst the controls may take some getting used to, everything else in the game is perfect and the same as the original, even the graphics! If you have played Rome or other Total War games on on mobile, you will quickly discover that the controls are much alike and I had no trouble adjusting. I also had no difficulties running the game (with large unit size too) on either my iPhone 11 or iPad Gen 9 and haven’t discovered any bugs or problems thus far. Battles run smoothly even when closely monitoring the action and the thousands of warriors onscreen and my game has yet to crash or lag out. If you are looking for an offline, single-player strategy game that allows you to manage cities, units and battles all whilst being portable, Medieval II is what you want. Feral Interactive have successfully managed to bring a fantastic PC game in all its brilliant glory to mobile and for that alone its well worth the money..Version: 1.2.3

Still the bestHappy days. Great game, but every one of my generals dies of old age at 61. Is this a glitch? Is it fixable? Feel as though most of my guys are on countdown now..Version: 1.3

Great gameI played this game in PC in 2007, when living in uni dormitory. It is one of the best strategy games. The mobile version is identical to the PC version except the touchscreen control. Pros: a) great gaming experience. It works fine on my old iphone7 plus. No crashes up to now. b) identical content to pc version. c) the game console is also included and compatible with old cheats on PC Cons: a) the cloud saving is annoying. I can find lots of autosaves and conflicted savings reported on every boot up b) the control in strategy map is very different from TW Rome mobile. I get used to it now. But I still prefer the old control. c) ok, I don’t know whether this type of game is still attractive to young kids now. But I hope it still does so..Version: 1.2.3

Amazing!!!Been waiting a long time for this to come out after buying and playing the Rome total war packs! Such an amazing game!! Keep it up feral!!!! Bring us more old school classics 😊.Version: 1.2.3

Good game but a few glitchesI enjoy this game a lot, I've always wanted some real RTS games on mobile and feral interactive has done a great job but there is still a few bugs to be worked out in this game. For some reason when I send an army to garrison a town my whole army will just disappear forever, just gone off the face of the earth. It happens quite often I'm on my second campaign at the moment and it's probably happened 9 or 10 times which is extremely annoying when you have a vetted army from 7 crusades, you can usually fix this by just loading the turn over again but if you're moving your troops towards the end of your turn like I do it just feels like you wasted 15 minutes. All in all a great game and I hope Feral keeps adding more.Version: 1.2.3

New expansionAs with the original game the new expansion has not disappointed me with quality at a reasonable price. Some nice twists to the different kingdoms like Americas no more Rome to please or wipe out, no more assassins which adds a new depth to them. Americas: couple of things would love to see changed; being able to play as spawning French or English instead of Spain, also when you defeat say English faction stop spawning up at various positions, annoying when I have destroyed the faction. Would love to see in near future a medieval 3 released which included more factions and more castles/towns. In the mean time hope to see more kingdoms added to this one. Great main game, great kingdoms expansion, great price for amount of enjoyment I still get out this game. Def worth 5*s.Version: 1.4

At TOTAL Masterpeice And We Want More! This game is an absolute masterpiece. I cannot express how much I love this game such as the other total war games. The expansion was a great add on to this game and it was really fantastic to play new campaigns and factions all in one app! I hope your fantastic team of developers keep making total war games such as this absolute treasury. I wanted to suggest maybe you could go create another total war game which depths into the shogun, chinese, japanese related factions. That would be another crazy rts game which all the fans may love such as many of your other total war creations. Keep up the good work!.Version: 1.4

It’s brilliant but need more fractionsI’ve never actually played the pc versions of Rome total war or even the total wars on there but ik there’s loads of fractions on there and we need more fractions on grand and campaign in kingdoms. I think there should be Normans, Saxons, mongols, Ayubids, Mamluks , pope ,japan , samurai and Kievian Rus. On the campaign in kingdoms I think there should be the Norman conquest , the mongol attack of Syria ,the hundred year war , the Italian war and the mongol invasion of japan Ps I’m sorry if I’ve spelt bad.Version: 1.4

Great GameLoved the original and this is is a great rendition..Version: 1.2.3

Crashes all the timeThis is a great game with amazing graphics. However it crashes all the time when I close it and try to open an app the next day. I have to delete the app all the time and reinstall it via App Store. It is not convenient. I am very disappointed especially since I’ve paid money for this game. Would be nice if the developer would get in touch with me and help to address the issue. Thanks in advance..Version: 1.4

Perfect conversionJust like the PC version! I never thought it was possible,to condense it for the IPAD but it truly is the same game I’ve given it 4/5 for the simple reason,it still has the bus from the PC version.Version: 1.3

Really fun! Though…I love this game, 10/10. I had more fun playing this than Rome because it showed a sign of progress when you built an armor building. But I have two things to say(one for Empire). One: I would like to change the names of my cities, if there is(other than game files) that would help. Two: I would like a Empire Total War port to mobile as I’ve seen people play this and I would want to get it to have a blast! And have fun researching things..Version: 1.3

UnderratedThis game is so good but sadly, not enough people play it..Version: 1.2.3

Please add JerusalemPersonally I love this port but there is one thing that annoys me I can’t play as Jerusalem can you please add Jerusalem I really want to play as crusaders.Version: 1.3

A perfect portNever thought I’d see the best total war game on an iPad but here it is and it’s amazing with a mouse and keyboard connected to it..Version: 1.4

Good stuff10/10.Version: 1.2.3

I cannot select custom settlement battleIt’s a great game and I really enjoy it, but for some reason when I want to play a custom game and I want to make it a settlement battle it won’t allow me to. Why is this?.Version: 1.2.3

5 star!Best game I’ve played on a phone! Since forever. The only downfall is that it’s that addictive it’s like crack !.Version: 1.3

Napoleon total war!!!!!This game is incredibly addictive but I’ve always wanted to play napoleon anything to get my hands on that game!.Version: 1.2.3

GET THIS GAME NOWThe Total War series games (Rome Total War, Total War Barbarian Invasion, Medieval Total War II, Empire Total War, and Shogun Total War) are my favorite games of all time… I played hours of these games on PC when they first came out. My PC burned out and my life got busy… I let go of these games until… RTW appeared in the APP store for Ipad! The developers did a PHENOMENAL job translating these games! Medieval Total War II is so fantastic you will never regret purchasing it. You can read the other reviews, so I’ll leave you with these additional tidbits- while you are playing (in the campaign, in the middle of a battle) you can close out with the home button, and open the game up later and there you are! Right back where you left off… no freezes, no lost games. The battles are just as smooth as the PC version… it just takes you a bit to learn how to navigate with the Ipad controls… but once you do, no problems. Nothing is lost or compromised in the Ipad version. After you play your first campaign, ALL of the factions open up and you can play any of the.. Hungarians, Russians, Portuguese… no limitations. You can play just the battles… famous ones plus your own custom designed encounters. The creative team of these games should get an award.. if you love Medieval history, you’ll love this games!.Version: 1.3

Amazing gameI’ve played Rome total war and it’s my favorite game of all time when I had pc but it got old I’m so glad that they made this game for the iPhone it’s way better and a lot more entertaining! You need to advertise this game a lot of people are missing out on. With a phone cooling fan u can play this game all day.Version: 1.2.3

Love this game. Please update for iOS16!So many memories. Excellent port to iOS. However I just got an iPhone 14pro and the aspect ratio is now distorted. Don’t believe it can be changed in the app, please update it ASAP!.Version: 1.3

Best Total WarThis has been my most absolute favorite Total War game for years. I was ecstatic when I found out it was mobile. I’m a big dark ages history nerd, and love playing this game over and over. Only thing I’d really love to have added is.. The Kingdoms expansion. Also,.. If possible at all (and I completely understand if it’s not possible) are the mods that include Lord of the Rings gameplay..Version: 1.3

Very fun could use some other updates for more fun.The game overall is great. The updates I think that should be added would be the ability to split your army during battle. Like choose light infantry and split them in to smaller groups and maybe even merge them with other units. Another update that would be cool would be a naval update which will add 3d battles for naval skirmishes. Then for that you can add spy, and assassin cutscenes for naval related things. Another update would be the adding of a few new units like: Bomb units which can place bombs near walls to blow them up, another unit could be maybe sharpshooters? For them they can use a longer musket and have far better aim, and last unit you could add can be either slingshot units, or a special naval unit of your choice. And the final idea for an update could be either a joke update or an April Fools update which can add hogriders, Russian bearriders, and maybe even a giant or a dragon..Version: 1.4

EXTREMELY GREAT GAMEEver since I got this game it’s been amazing I know it’s a little pricey but it’s definitely worth it. There is endless thing’s to do and one thing I very much enjoy is the fact that there is a sepret campaign for beginners when I first started total war I didn’t have that so I am very glad that is in the game. Overall I think it’s a extremely great game and I am happy they added one of the best total war games to android/iOS.Version: 1.2.3

This game is absolutely amazing, 1 thing thoughI love this game! One thing though, the unit formation is tricky to do. Any chance you could make it easier like in Rome TW using two fingers to stretch and rotate the desired formation. That’s the one thing that’s the only problem so far. Other than that, it’s flawless!.Version: 1.2.3

More pleaseI only got this game to give developers shout out. If there any chances to make Medieval Total War 1 I personally would pay any money to play it. Please make it happened..Version: 1.3

Hands down worth itAfter buying and playing Rome total war I can proudly say that this game has some of the best features feral can give you. As of writing this since the so is much more smarter and you have the ability to see whether the diplomacy deals you made were the right or wrongs ones. Since the previous total war genre couldn’t allow you to be able to see if the deal was agreeable or not. I personally can’t wait to see the other expansions from this game. I still think that having the mongols, timurids, and Aztec would be cool unlocklable factions in my personal option..Version: 1.2.3

5*Had low hopes for this and brought it through pure excitement that one of my favourite pc games was now available on iOS. Calling this a port almost seems disrespectful as it is nothing short of a masterpiece and a perfect example of how intuitive controls make this game a joy to play.Version: 1.3

Only one questionThe problem is on custom games for some reason it doesn’t let you do the settlement level customizer I clicked through all the maps and it doesn’t allow me to edit it. I could just be dumb but I’m not able to figure it out. overall I’m addicted to the game, well done.Version: 1.2.3

Controls/gameplaySome of the controls are a little tricky that need to be fine tuned such as selecting units and placing them, merging button would be an amazing feature unless I’m missing where that’s already a possibility. Took me a minute to figure out that selecting an army from a settlement, then instead of dragging from the troops, you drag finger from the settlement you can send the forces you need. Essentially changed things finger wise from Rome Total War. Overall I love the game and brings me back to my childhood and I see myself spending a ton of time playing it just as I did Rome Total War. I hope the dlc for Medieval will all be available down the road. ** I will go back through and watch the tutorial videos and see if anything is explain then update my review. Otherwise thank you for remaking this game!.Version: 1.2.3

Great game with some flawsI love the game and how it plays. I only have one major complaint. I’ve started a couple of campaigns, but a common theme among them is that no matter how I play diplomatically and militarily, I always end up having to fight 7 different countries at once bc they don’t really go for each other. For the most part, they just target me. Ive even had Portugal come attack me in Dublin for no apparent reason. They won’t fight the Spanish or the moors. I’ve maintained a few alliances but that doesn’t do much to help. It basically just guarantees a little time for you to prepare to fight them too. also, I have noticed that enemies get units that they shouldn’t be able to get. For example, I fought Milan who held three cities and no castles but they were somehow getting knights and also handguns but they did not have the infrastructure for that when I finally took over. They be cheating lol..Version: 1.3

Favorite gameThis game brings a new era of fun to me. This is not a scammer game like rise of kingdoms this game is what it says it is. A great strategy game for mobile. I have been searching for a actual good game for years I have finally found it!!! Though the pikemen and the the gun units usually bet super bugged. The muskets keep walking backwards and the pikemen are useless unlike the Rome pikemen who were great in comparison..Version: 1.3

Should have kept the UI of RomeThe UI for this port is too cluttered. Everything is so small, it’s hard to see. The UI for Rome Total War port is perfect. I wish they kept that one. Other than that, it’s a great game. Update: Please fix the issue when you try to rotate through your settlements, the game just switches to your armies instead unless you have the buildings tab (on the bottom of the screen) selected..Version: 1.3

Amazing would love moreAmazing game (drains battery fast) good all round would love to see a empire total war game from you guys 5/5.Version: 1.3

It’s great butThe game is great there’s one problem the graphics looks low can you add in settings were you can change the graphics please?.Version: 1.4

Stayed up late, was not disappointedYou people at Feral just realize how much time is going to be thrown at this game right? I though Rome on phones was bad enough for both my sake, my sleep schedules sake as well as my phone’s battery, and yet here we are again. What are we to do with you? All jokes aside, you guys hit it out of the park. The UI is great, love the new icons. All factions, options, units and events are there just as on PC. Haven’t encountered nearly as many bugs as when Rome was released, so kudos to that. I cannot tell you enough how wonderful it is to see games I grew up with in my teens now in handheld form over a decade after it’s release. Just goes to show how much these games are loved, and how much we as a community appreciate your work at reviving these classics. Keep up the good work Feral Interactive..Version: 1.2.3

Great but some work to smooth out the rough edgesI played Medieval II on steam a lot, and so obviously I was excited when this was announced, especially since I can’t play on my PC while away at college. It’s overall a great game, but has some rough edges that bother me. Just little things like I set the time limit of the battles to be 45 minutes but there were no time limits when I entered the campaign. That takes away the possibility of sallies ending in a draw, which I normally do a lot. The way the messages come in one at a time then disappear is weird. Merging depleted units together is an absolute pain and I almost thought that the feature was taken away for a bit. AI characters move slowly until you fast forward them, which is normal, but they go back to moving slowly despite me not pressing on them to do so. There’s a lot of white space in the buildings and troop selections, so I feel their icons could be made a little bigger to better tell which is which without looking at the description. Aside from these small details, I really like the game. It’s a very good adaptation from the original. I don’t know if there are more TW games to come after this one, but it would be awesome if there were. Look forward to new updates..Version: 1.2.3

Great Game love it (Edit)Ok so let me start of with saying the great things about this game 1. Great Time Period ✅ 2. This is may be my opinion but i find the game easy to get the hang of if you have played Rome Total War this should be easy for you✅ 3. Good amount of factions to play as only downside is the fact that the Papal States and aztecs timurids and mongols are unplayable but there suppose to appear for events later on in the game so understandable. Considering you can play as plenty of other factions this doesn’t matter✅ 4.Events that make the game interesting as turns go by Black Death gunpowder discovery of America etc ✅5.Cheats✅ 6.Big battles and of course a custom mode of sorts so you can create your own battles✅ 7. There is good customer support and advice✅ 8. All named generals have there own personality and make funny or cool speeches before the start of a battle ✅✅✅✅✅ 9. Historical battles there aren’t much but at least they are there✅Now for the things that need improving The graphics in battles aren’t as good as Rome Total War graphics particularly for the units and the environment like the trees bushes etc during the battles when you fight in person❌ kingdoms is here YAY! giving 5 stars 👍 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ PS Thank you for replying to my review Developer.Version: 1.4

IncredibleAbsolutely phenomenal! Porting AAA games of this magnitude is a treat for us iPad Pro owners! Go feral go!.Version: 1.2.3

The best strategy game of all timeTo the people behind this game you are the best of the best. Keep doing what your doing👍🏼.Version: 1.4

Thank you!!!Just got this in 24h and I already love it! Keep up the good job 🤙🏽🇦🇺.Version: 1.3

Please Release Teutonic campaign expansionPlease when will you release the Teutonic Expansion sets, will buy ASAP. This game is AWESOME but I want more details put into the units that’s why I want the expansion packs pls!!!!.Version: 1.2.3

Outstanding!I loved playing this on pc and I am amazed that it plays so well on mobile! Amazing game, of course, but I can't say enough how impressed I am with the quality of the app. It does drive me a little crazy sometimes trying to play fast with my big fingers on a little screen and I definitely have trouble micromanaging my army during battle but honestly, I cannot imagine a better Total War experience on mobile..Version: 1.4

Needs fixing urgentlyAlways loved this game, just really hope you’re going to fix the crashes, they’re so often it’s hard to play..Version: 1.2.3

Great game, but…Everything is cool and awesome! I love playing this game. However I have two problems: 1) When I touch the menu of faction, where I can choose the list of cities or the faction members, sometimes game stops to react on my touches, so I have to re-open the game, and then this problem disappears. Hope you will fix that soon. 2) In the Teutonic campaign, on 268th turn, I faced one problem: game freezes. It happened to me when Denmark besieged one of my cities (I play for Novgorod), and when I try to attack them from the city, the game freezes in one moment, no matter what I do, but music continues to play, so I can’t even stop the battle, and I just re-open game again, and I must start this battle again, and the game during the battle freezes again. I can’t go further. I really want you to fix that because I paid money for the game and for the DLC, and I want the game which won’t bring such technical surprises..Version: 1.4

Absolutely Brilliant!I love this game! It is by far one of the best mobile apps ever! However, I believe the next game you should do is the seven years war, the American war of independence or the napoleonic wars. Overall, brilliant games, I hope to see more come out soon.Version: 1.4

Great Game! One of the greatest games on the App Store! Such an amazing port, with only two crashes on over 50 hours of play. My favorite faction is England, with their powerful longbow-man. I have recently earned a victory with them. There is so much content in this game, that it will take you a long time to earn the ins and outs, battle strategy and such. Even though the game was 15$ is was really worth it! “For King and Country”.Version: 1.4

StunningI had this game back when it first came out on P.C. To say I was beyond thrilled when it came to iOS would be an understatement. The nostalgia has taken me back to when I originally played this game when it first came out. Awesome job to those who made this happen! Thrilled to see them being the expansions packs to this game like they did with Rome Total War. Have already put several hours into this and look forward to putting more in to the different expansion packs. Thank you! Highly recommend this to anyone!.Version: 1.4

What a dream!Haven’t stopped playing it since it was released! Yeh of course there’s a couple of snags here and there! But it’s just been dropped! I’m super happy with it! Hopefully empire total war is on the cards next! That would be a dream for sure! Thanks guys keep up The good work!.Version: 1.2.3

Adapted and improved! It’s hard to adapt a classic PC game to mobile, but this is how you do it. It’s UI and feel is better than Rome Total War mobile, and it’s look is a great tribute to the original in every way. There are some natural limitations with mobile strategy, but this game is well worth it. Would absolutely recommend!.Version: 1.2.3

Worth itGot it for my iPad so I have a bigger screen to play on. Just like the old days when I had my pc. Amazing game, fun to play. Graphics are up to par too. Overall loving it. 😁.Version: 1.2.3

Wonderful port, but need a stubborn bug fixedThis is a great port of a wonderful game — totally worth the money. While I would love full mod support, I understand why that’s difficult on iOS. However, PLEASE add a way to disable disasters or at least floods. The flood bug (drastically limited movement and no watchtower construction in a territory after a flood for the rest of the game) is absolutely game breaking if it hits one of your important territories early in a game. Just allowing a preference toggle to disable floods would sidestep the bug..Version: 1.3

Great game!Great game! Played many many hours already. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who likes this style of game! Wa super happy to see them release this game after playing rome total war. Graphics are nice and battles can be large!.Version: 1.2.3

Absolutely love this game!I’ve been wanting to get this game for a while now, and I finally just bought it a week or two ago. I played TW: Rome for iOS before MEDIEVAL ll came out, and I absolutely loved it! But I’ve also been watching a lot of Youtubers play MEDIEVAL II on the PC, and I was hoping that someday it would get ported to iOS (Knights are awesome!) Custom battles are the best feature in the game, at least in my opinion (making epic scenarios and crazy sieges is a fantastic way to pass the time), and the campaign is awesome. The only suggestions I would make (and of course—they’re just suggestions) is to make some of the cavalry units—particularly the Knights Templar and Knights Hospitaller—dismounted, but of course I’ll understand if this is not implemented. The only other suggestion I would ask is to make it so that when you have to close the game during a battle (for whatever reason), you can reopen the game and have the option to still play the rest of that battle. Still, I ABSOLUTELY love playing this game and it is DEFINITELY worth the $15. [P.S. I have found that I am unable to rewatch ANY of my battle replay videos. The game crashes EVERY TIME I try to load a replay. I just wanted to bring that to your attention. I still love the game.🥰].Version: 1.3

Fantastic gameBrilliant mobile game worth every penny!! Feral please bring Empire to mobile it would be fantastic.Version: 1.4

Turned a bad Monday into a great MondayYou’ve turned my rubbish Monday into the best day in a while honestly thank you so much this bring back some great memories thank you can’t wait for the dlc soon maybe.Version: 1.2.3

THANK YOU👍🏻👍🏻Thank You Feral for bringing Medieval Total War II to the Mobile Platform. All of the coolest features from Total War are here including the most awesome battle units from Europe, to the Byzantine’s and the Caliphates, to The Kingdom of Jerusalem to Antioch , and all the way to The Americas are here and of course Total War’s signature Intro’s and Gameplay Music. I purchased both the game and the expansion pack yesterday and Feral included the View Settlement on Battlemap Mode and that had not been done in the past for the PC nor Mobile but now its here and I used it a few times already and its just Totally Cool. THANK YOU!! Well Done..Version: 1.4

Great game, shame about the crashesAs the title says, it’s a great game and a faithful port of the original PC game. Even the numerous crashes to desktop have been faithfully recreated. My advice?……save regularly..Version: 1.2.3

Awesome game but diplomacy is still brokenIn my opinion I think the game is great and the controls were good (i’m on an iPad btw) but one glaring issue I faced while playing this game is diplomacy no matter what I propose they always deny even if it says very generous they just straight up deny, not sure if this is a bug or if it’s intentional but please fix it, but overall good game I would recommend it, hopefully they will add kingdoms..Version: 1.2.3

Still bug fixing? 5 Stars.I love everything TW when CA made actual historical titles so I’m astounded to see my beloved Medieval on mobile. And the fact that they’re continuously bug fixing and updating the game? Amazing. Who knows maybe they’ll add some new flavours to the game!.Version: 1.3

Love this gameEverything about this game is perfect. It’s so cool that you managed to get a pc game on mobile. However if it’s not too much to ask I was hoping you would consider putting Rome total war 2 on mobile as well. If you could somehow manage to do that you would have my greatest respect and joy. Overall great game thanks 🙏..Version: 1.4

Fantastic GameThe devs have done an amazing job adapting this game to a mobile format. It plays so much like the original pc version, the only difference is the touch screen controls, which do take some getting used to. Otherwise it’s a seamless transition from pc to mobile. I’m hoping now that the Medieval 2 platform has proven successful that other versions of it such as stainless steel or third age also end up with a mobile version..Version: 1.3

Medi 2 total war mobile guru reviewAfter I realised where all the controls was I think it’s a brilliant compact version and literally exactly the same as the desktop version I think it’s well planned and I’m really looking forward to kingdoms that comes out real soon. I would absolutely love to see all of the other games including empire total war on the mobile version is too. I do believe there is med 3 total war that is going to come out at some point when they’ve made it! Please bring that on mobile too Guru.Version: 1.3

Good butLoved every second of this game. Done all the faction campaigns. Only thing I’d suggest is when using cheats the ‘pricess_rq all/settlement name’ command completed ALL the troops in one go like the ‘process_cq all’ command. Come on, we make a cheat save after we hit it legitimately..Version: 1.3

Master pieceThank you so much for bringing back this classic I will be forever grateful it’s everything I remembered and more. Now just one more to go the return of shogun total war please make this a reality.Version: 1.2.3

Excellent but not without flawsAnother fantastic port from Feral adding to the success of Rome. This is just as engaging and almost as seamless and I hope there is more to come. The gameplay is as good as the original, and being on mobile is no drawback once you master the controls. I have noticed some minor tweaks needed with this one though which you might not expect given the high price tag. The battlefield camera is much harder to control (e.g zooming out every time you try and rotate) and units are harder to select than Rome. There are also a few bugs that would be nice to be ironed out, such as entire armies occasionally disappearing when you garrison them and fairly regular crashes. I hope there will be plenty of updates to come to iron out the kinks, otherwise this is an excellent mobile game that seriously sets the standard for what can be achieved on this medium. EDIT: Great to see some updates coming, though still some bugs that need to be addressed. Burning oil doesn’t work at all, for example..Version: 1.3

Brilliant port, Best strategy game on IOSWe all knew this game was going to be another port that Feral absolutely knocked out of the park! Pre-ordered the game as soon as I could, and playing it now, all I can say is that the team is doing a great job porting these classic games. Controls are as intuitive as ever in my opinion, no complaints on that. The only issue I have is that when I open the game, the screen is displayed upside down and I can’t get it to rotate to the way I’m most comfortable with playing (this is no longer an issue with the latest update). I imagine it would be quite a simple issue to fix, since it wasn’t a problem in the ports for Rome: Total War and Rome expansions. Nonetheless, it’s a five-star experience by my judgement, and I recommend it to any total war fans looking for an accessible way to play Medieval II. :) Edit: Thanks a lot!.Version: 1.3
