✓ The sky’s not alive like all the notifications I keep getting.I keep getting notifications that the skies are alive. I check out the app and either the cameras aren’t working or it’s cloudy or light out. The app is not worth it so far..Version: 1.0.20
✓ Doesn’t WorkI downloaded this app because the one I have is for the UK and the aurora was always just out of reach. I noticed the aurora was constantly over Iceland and so was excited when I saw this app covered that area and more. But no matter what I do, the app doesn’t work! I paid £4.99 for nothing. None of the cameras work, there is no weather info, no log in as some people describe, nothing. Maybe I’m doing something wrong I don’t know, but I’m most disappointed, if anyone has any ideas I’m open to suggestions. Jim.Version: 1.0.20
✓ No QA check or quality check at all.The makers didn’t even check that some of their webcams are in wrong locations. The app doesn’t have a link where we can report the bug. And zero contact detail. Hence this review is only way for the people to reach the dev team about their bugs. Poor QA..Version: 1.0.17
✓ Need to Subscribe to UseThere’s no way to use the app without a subscription. While there’s a free trial I don’t use them as it’s too easy to forget to cancel them if I don’t like the app. I tried the app because I saw an ad in a magazine but the ad implied it was free. There was no indication of needing a monthly subscription in order for the app to work..Version: 1.0.10
✓ Review of app.Half the cameras dont even load. And the app sends me notifications that the aurora is mici f slowly through norway or swedan. I click on those countries. Most cameras dont load. And its sunny and bright out so Im un clear how that is even being notified. I know its light almost 24 hours there but the app should reflect that.Version: 1.0.20

I’ve got a paid for App too, expected better access. Loved it during winter, zero accessibility Spring & Summer. Alaska’s camera has never been on. Others are hit and miss even during winter. ✓ Waste of timeThis app does not help you see if there’s an Aurora in the US, or see a live stream of the US night sky. The supposed US camera doesn’t even work. You can get live feeds online for free such as the Skunk Bay weather cam. Don’t waste your money. There are several better apps out there. If you just want to watch Northern European countries at night it might work for you, but US and a Canada it’s a bust..Version: 1.0.20
✓ NO ADS PLEASE!!!!I have to say, I like the app, some of the cameras are a little disappointing, but overall I’m really pleased. BUT!!!! The kicker is the ads for KIDS GAMES.... like every 30 seconds as the aurora is progressing here’s a solicitation for some silly game! There are more ads than good aurora viewing. I wish there was a way to purchase the app (I’d pay good money FYI) but there’s no way to contact the developer, nor an option anywhere to purchase the app..Version: 1.0.17

✓ Rude tech support for a lousy product.Full purchase and there is advertising on every every single camera. Should be free if they insist on advertising. A full third of the screen real estate is taken up by very large font weather and links for air B&B places. I could live with this if the product was ok. Instead they point the cameras at street lights and roads. The images have telephone poles, blinking lights and buildings in many of the camera views which do not appear to be HD. Lastly the alarms sent by the algorithm often contain cloud movement instead of aurora..Version: 1.0.19

✓ Great app but...First, I do enjoy this app. Having the notification when the sky comes alive is a great feature. But I find that, at least for Iceland, the cameras are often out of focus or have a weird light too close to them. The videos themselves are very hard to click on when viewing a camera. The close button is difficult to press because it’s overlaid with the video options. The left and right buttons are difficult to hit because of the video options. I have yet to find a way to purchase the app without having to watch the extremely annoying ads..Version: 1.0.17

✓ I love this app but…It’s wonderful to see the Northern Lights and the Sky is Alive notification is great. However, Norway has 1 camera 12 - Lyngenalps, that is always dark even when notified that the sky is alive there. 1 camera 10 - Senjaislands that is pointed at the street and the water. Last year, the problem was Iceland. Do they have people in each city to maintain these cameras and/or do the developers double check the app for these issues on a regular basis? I think it would be a good addition to the app to allow users to notify them immediately through the app that there are issues. Perhaps a link we could click to notify you promptly of issues? If they could fix the ongoing camera issues, I’d give this app 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.Version: 1.0.20
✓ I don’t subscribe for adsNewest review: Canceled subscription and deleted. This is twice now that ads have shown up when they shouldn’t. This time there wasn’t even a way to see if “Restore Purchases” would help. Intro page is skipped, and there’s no access to it. It seems another app now has live webcams (many of them) and only a one-time fee. I may try that. Original review: Haven’t seen much yet. I realize that’s the sporadic nature of the aurora—but that also makes the persistent “leave a review” popups annoying. The options seem to be “leave a review” or “leave a review.” You’d have a better response—and more stars—by having a “remind me later” option at the very least. Asking me whether I’m enjoying the app before much has happened almost forces a “no” response—which I don’t think is what you want. There also seems to be a lot of notifications without anything to see, which interrupts other things I’m trying to do on my phone. ✓ Good if you are in their areaThis does a pretty good job of letting you know if the aurora are out, but only in a small area. 20-30km away and it could be totally different. It would also be good know for how long they have been seen consistently. If it was just a 5 min break in cloud cover, it might not be worth heading to their area to catch a glimpse. Could also use some coverage in the eastern part of Iceland..Version: 1.0.10
