ROUVY for Negative User Reviews

Would be good if it didn’t constantly crash!I’m using an iPad Pro gen1, running the latest iPadOS. I’ve tried a bunch of things, but the Rouvy app is unstable to the point of being unusable for me. It will freeze, then after a few seconds completely crash. I don’t use it enough to bother debugging it any further - I run it on my AppleTV now, if I want a Rouvy ride..Version: 2.23.0

Inferior ProductUnresponsive customer service- closed the ticket without ever responding to repeated requests during the trial period. Spam e-mails. Routes that are touted as realistic, are in fact dimly lit poor renditions of the real thing- they even made the Las Vegas Strip dull! Relies mostly on user video for routes, which vary wildly in quality. Extremely limited choice of equipment. For the same price, you can have a better all-around experience with Zwift- or a great free alternative with the Break Away app..Version: 2.6.1

Won’t connectI just received an email about a special monthly rate and I thought I’d give Rouvy a try. Everything installs fine right up until I go to connect my bike trainer. I have a Kinetic road machine with an in ride sensor. It doesn’t find the device, so I tried to install it manually. I selected classic trainer with an in ride sensor and Rouvy tells me it’s not a classic trainer. Okay, so I go back and select smart trainer (it’s not btw) and I get the same message, it’s not a smart trainer. Well, there are only two options and neither work. So if you are using a Kinetic trainer don’t bother wasting your time..Version: 2.20.0

I can see what they are trying to doFor the most part it’s a good app, except the “ remember me” function on Apple TV doesn’t work. I need to enter username and password every time I use it. I raised the issue with support and nothing. I also need to re-pair my wahoo kickr with the app ~50% of the time. Apart from that it works ok..Version: 2.29.0

Not workingWorked a few years pretty well. A few days ago the app stopped working and asked me to subscribe. I have had a subscription through the App Store for years and in fact Apple just sent a receipt today for this month’s payment! Multiple emails to Rouvy: answer is to contact Apple. Multiple reports to Apple: Answer is to contact Rouvy. My advice is to not get Rouvy on the App Store, maybe go to the website directly, might work better..Version: 2.11.0

Latest update didn’t workI enjoyed using this app but haven’t been able to use it since the last update as it crashes before I can even select a route. I contacted Rouvy a couple of times about the issue but they were not able to solve the problem or refund lost months payments..Version: 2.28.0

Buggy but…Group ride magnets don’t work. Haven’t seen my avatar in over a week no matter what settings I use. App doesn’t run in background on iPad so if you hit the home button it takes you out of your ride. It’s a great concept but the implementation leaves much to be desired. They should spend more effort on stabilizing the core product before adding flashy new features..Version: 3.1.3

Connect issuesWon’t recognize controller no resistance. Ant+ not supported. Buggy buggy buggy. Help desk Slow and lacks any helpful information..Version: 0.12.3

Frustrating new directionWhile I might be in the minority I am much much less interested in the AR features of the app. I really hope this is not the direction Rouvy is going, I love the simplicity of the old Rouvy app, I would be very sad to see it stop being maintained in favor of this version. I don’t use this to see a fake looking biker character and race barriers. I want to see the scenery and my statistics, that’s it. If anything I would love to see more investment in video quality and smoothness, not fake looking AR junk that I hated in Zwift. Please invest in your real value Rouvy! Keep increasing video quality and ride variety and you’ll have a customer for life..Version: 1.3.4

Useless integrationJust started free trial. I use a trainer in front of a TV using the AppleTV app. When I created the account, I used the app on my iPhone and selected the Login with Apple ID option and it created my account. But the AppleTV doesn’t have that option to log in and it won’t take my password. So it’s basically useless on AppleTV. Needless to say, I’m already cancelling my trial and will stick with Zwift. Maybe I’ll try this again next year but it’s clearly missing integration across platforms. It might work if you only use iOS devices. But at this point, it’s just not worth my time when I have Zwift. DEFINITELY no reason to switch! Mostly I’m upset about the 20 training minutes I wasted trying to get this to work..Version: 3.1.3

Great visuals but terrible user experienceI’ve always thought Rouvy’s user experience was crap (so many clicks, good luck getting out of the app on your TV) but I’m ready to cancel our subscription now that I have to sign in every single time. The “remember me” option does not work at all, and the voice command to put in my username and password seems to think I’m speaking another language. Super frustrating. I think it’s time to go back to Zwift..Version: 2.27.0

Doesn’t Work with CycleOps 400I’ve been using the Rouvy app for many years and like it a lot. It is the best of all apps in simulating an outdoor riding experience. The new AR features are fantastic (from what I have seen; I’ll get to that next), particularly the new 2K videos and Online racing with AR functionality. The two star rating is for the reasons noted, below. I was using the Rouvy Workouts version with AR functionality from its release about 6 months ago to the start of the full (non-Beta) release of Rouvy AR about three weeks ago. Since Rouvy AR does not work with my CycleOps 400 Pro indoor bike, I am limited to using the older Rouvy Workouts app. That was okay at first as the Rouvy Workouts app initially had most of the functionality that the Rouvy AR app had without the new slick UI. However, when Rouvy issued their full (non Beta) version about three weeks ago, they deactivated both the AR and Online race features from the Rouvy AR app. That is fine for those subscribers that have a smart trainer that works with the new Rouvy AR app, but my IC 400 Pro is not recognized by the new app, so I can’t use it. I have dealt with Rouvy Customer Support several times over the past three weeks with no success but a lot of frustration. I had three simple questions I wanted answered: 1) Does Rouvy AR support the Cycleops IC 400 Pro indoor bike?; 2) If they do not support my smart bike, will it be supported in the future?, and 3) Will they support the Saris MULTIremote in the future? This is how they responded: 1st Response: They stated that they do not support the CycleOps 400 Pro trainer, but did not indicate if they plan to support either the IC 400 Pro or the MULTIremote in the future. 2nd Response: They stated that neither the CycleOps 400 Pro nor the MULTIremote are supported, but still said nothing about whether these devices will be supported in the future. They suggested that instead of using the iPad version of the app, which does not support ANT+ connectivity, I may have better success using the Windows or MacBook version which does support ANT+. I purchased a PC laptop with Windows 10 and it worked no better on that platform. Their poor suggestion cost me $1,500! 3rd Response: They followed up indicating that my ticket would be closed off if my issue was resolved. I responded stating that the ticket be kept open as my issue still is not resolved. I did not hear back. It is ridiculous that Rouvy discontinued support of their older version of their app before moving all the functionality over to the new Rouvy AR app. What is particularly iritating is that I am using a CycleOps/Saris indoor bike AND a Saris MULTIremote, AND neither works with their own app! CycleOps/Saris is a sister company to Rouvy. Essentially, they are giving me every reason to NOT buy their own trainer or use their own app, and instead go to one of their competitors for both new hardware and software. Not a good business model..Version: 1.2.2

New ROUVYJust downloaded on new iPad, have been using the older version for the last couple of years. The new version will not let me see any of the courses I’ve created, how do I pull-up a course that I created on the older version. The older version would show my workout on full screen this version shows a guy riding down the road and my workout stats are so small that it is hard to see when you are really pushing. I like the older version, I could care less about the scenery or riding with other people. I’m trying to complete a workout were I can see my numbers. Is there anyway to show my numbers full screen as in the old one and do I load my routes that I created from courses I’ve done in the past. If I wanted to ride on Swift I would have signed up for swift..Version: 2.1.0

App dies in the middle of ridesAmong other downloading issues, the app died in the middle of two long rides for me. If you take the workouts seriously, then an app that dies screws up your planning and training. It’s a source of frustration. On top of that, customer service gets back to you at around a 40-50% rate and doesn’t really strive to help—it’s mostly robot questions that you answer for them and then hope they get back to you at that 40-50% rate. I’m going to switch to the competitor if I can’t get things resolved..Version: 1.2.2

Stability issuesI used the app for several years but since the update had issues. I find it very clunky at times and on several occasions it crashes. I go back in and it states continue the ride I was in but it doesn’t, if just starts from the beginning. Shames as it’s realistic but clunky for the money you pay for it..Version: 3.1.3

THIEVES!!Look at their policy - no refund policy!! I cancelled the subscription, deleted the app, but they continued to charge my credit card. I cannot prove I cancelled the subscription. I complained immediately on the day i was charged, but they gave a no-refund policy - so I will be starting legal proceedings over something so minor, clearly because they get away with this so many times. I will never use them again..Version: 2.25.0

Best Imagery AvailableThe route imagery is really great and appreciate the vivid details; however, I do not like the power control of ROUVY compared to Zwift. The shifts feel sluggish and transitions feel heavier not as distinct. ROUVY is a great app for someone who really values the realistic scenes while on the trainer but still lacks overall feel and ride quality features compared to Zwift..Version: 3.2.1

Unable to support Wahoo KickrDisappointed that my wahoo kickr won’t connect to this app, despite being told wahoo kickr is supported. I have worked with the ROUVY support team who have been very responsive but still unable to resolve the connection issue..Version: 2.17.0

I want this app to work and it has promise....My initial attempt with the iPad app caused frustration as it did not work out of the gate. Support asked that I uninstall and reinstall which did correct the problem. After that I was able to ride successfully from the app. I also installed the TV OS version but on my TV the app does not scale properly to the screen so half the information is not visible. The reason for the lack of 4 or 5 stars relates to the UI design. Someone who actually rides a bike should be involved in writing the UI. The basic metrics (heart rate, cadence, power, speed, distance) are tucked away in the upper left corner and for anyone that has older eyes will have difficulty with what they are looking at. Firstly, it is out of the main field of view, second is that the values are crunched up so that you have to think about what is what, third is that it only gives you the current numbers and not any averages or trends. The next criticism I have is the need to go between the app and the website for setup of things like sharing with Strava or changing the units of display. More detailed review of the ride results needs to be done in the website (which it appears you can access via the diary button from the app). I would also like to have the ride details uploaded to Apple Health (my link to Strava takes care of it for now). For a first experience, this feels like an app still in Beta (later versions of beta)! I have not compared against Zwift to know if that is any better, but the old Tacx TTS4 was a superior user experience at least from a UI basis. Hopefully Rouvy will take this to heart and earn the monthly fee they charge. In the end, it works but time will tell if I look for an alternative..Version: 1.2.2

Shameful lack of legacy support for their own hardwareVery disappointing that Rouvy has dropped support of the CycleOps Phantom 5 smart bike, which it clearly has the know-how to do, as the former app was the only official way to use these very expensive indoor training bikes (and was displayed on the app splash screen af startup!). Shame on Saris, who acquired CycleOps and should care for its loyal customers who have subscribed to Rouvy over many years. Please reconsider at least reenabling ERG workouts in the newer app so these very well built bikes are not unnecessarily discarded ($2500 exercise bikes should not be regarded as disposable in today’s world where we need to take better care of the planet)..Version: 2.3.0

Serious connection issuesDoes not connect to Cyclops i400 trainer despite using the Cable Bluetooth device recommended. Can’t get any sense out of app support on the issue. Angry after paying for premium membership 😡.Version: 1.2.2

Elevation Profile on Bottom Almost Useless NowThe elevation profile for the route is now a thin yellow line that you can barely see the colour changes for slope changes. The preview shows the desired representation that is actually useful. This is my preferred cycling app and is very good other than the change noted..Version: 1.5.4

Crash crash crash…As of 8 July it crashes within a few minutes, repeatedly! May need to reboot your iPad to release the problem….Version: 1.6.3

8/10First time today on ROUVY and I found it extremely fun and realistic . Always hard work on reality trainers . The only issue I had and I thought it’s a big one is that you can’t see what gear you are In and as it’s not automatic change you can’t see if it has cages so you panic and press the gear button lots and by the time it’s caught up you can’t move the pedals . Im using the wattbike atom so it’s electric Bluetooth gearing . So if this doesn’t get added then I might have to try another app . But overall very good feel and excellent averages on speed / w/k and speed and I love its nothing like zwift.Version: 2.14.2

Will not connect with speed sensorThe old app connects no problem, but the new AR app will not connect with combined speed and cadence sensor.Version: 1.3.1

?I road the original TACX virtual trainer and this is exactly the same video which is great! I love the much realistic nature of the “world” and have actually been to some of the locations- for that reason ROUVY has everything going for it. But now, I signed up and paid for a 1-month trial.. and no kidding like where’s all the riders? You go into a route and there’s only 3 other people who you will never see? by this account ROUVY will never compete with Zwift until you get your membership up. - also, for some reason on my second ride only after paying- I was experiencing an elastic like delay in the Streaming? Where my bike would stall and then shoot forward only to stall again like some sort of digital rubber band? What’s up with that? It wouldn’t quit and I was forced to quit the ride and after that just went and road Zwift again. Also - clearly there are numerous dishonest or digital dopers on this platform. I raced Pro for 18 years (yes real Pro) and there’s like every third rider pushing 5.5 w/kg??? Again… what’s up with that? Will likely cancel my paid subscription after this month and stick with what works - the “other guy”..Version: 2.17.1

Most recent updateMost recent update has made it very very complicated to import a ride into ROUVY from training peaks. Before it seamlessly synced and could do my designated training ride immediately, now it takes. 10-15 minute of frustration to import it into ROUVY to allow me to do my ride. Very frustrating..Version: 2.26.0

Not user friendlyI love the old ROUVY app. Everything was in one place. Now when I enter a challenge, I have to go over to safari to look it up, find required routes, list those as favorites and then go back to ROUVY ar to ride them and I still don’t know which route is for which challenge when I’m on AR. There were a lot more routes, I could look them up on world map and choose to see a new place in world. Lots of triathlon routes, not just iron man routes. I got AR because I was told the original ROUVY was no longer available. I will finish my subscription and if things don’t improve I will switch to zwift..Version: 1.3.1

Doesn’t work, Stole my Money, Billed me again. They had a discounted subscription for $60 about a year ago. I thought I would try it and signed up. When I tried to use the app with my Wahoo KICKR bike, it did not give any resistance. I tried for a while and could not get it to work. I emailed them to cancel my subscription and they did not respond so I figured I lost my $60. I tried canceling and thought I had. A few weeks a I get an email from ROUVY telling me they had billed me $84 for another years subscription. I told them I had not used the app and did not know the subscription was still going and asked to cancel and reimburse me. They wrote back and said I had to cancel it before it renewed. I will never get ROUVY again. I am sticking with Zwift, they make it easy to subscribe and cancel and have great service..Version: 3.1.3

Poor Trainer connectivityMy Bkool Smart pro 2 isn’t controllable with this version of Rouvy, so I only have a fixed amount of resistance. I can’t compete against other cyclists as the resistance is too hard on the flats, or going downhill. The only bonus is when there is an incline, if it’s a hard gradient, then my set resistance can be less than the other riders I’m racing, so I catch up a bit. On the plus side, the graphics are good..Version: 0.10.2

Ruined work out modeRe subscribed after two years to reuse their workouts functionality. Now they force AR onto us the main focus of the screen is pointless and it’s hard to keep track of your intervals..Version: 2.0.0

Poor customer support on an app that could be improvedThe virtual rides are good but there are issues : - The first time I hit a problem, specifically getting an error when downloading a ride, I contacted customer support. Their only answers were : reboot the iPad, check that you have the latest iOS and if you’ve done that and it still doesn’t work, get a different iPad or use a different device! What kind of customer support is that! Nothing more than the most basic IT Helpdesk approach of switch it off and on again!!! And of course I have the latest iOS !!! - not always easy to find rides by location. Yes they can be filtered by county but beyond that it’s just a list in a country. Would be better if they can be plotted on a map. Rating driven by poor customer support on a paid for app..Version: 2.18.0

Have gone back to using ZwiftThe Augmented Reality and official videos are fantastic - brilliant tech! BUT it lacks so much to make it engaging; small user base, lack of modern workout, could never find a race and couldn’t see any handicapping. Yes the AR is better than the ‘arcade game’ Zwift UI... but as an experience this is not worth the money... yet! Could be great one day. Using it for Virtual IM was good, but that was because of the IM event. Albeit Rouvy provided a reliable tech platform. I will revist in a year and hopefully they will have build out the proposition by then!.Version: 1.5.1

First ride experienceEquipment Wahoo kickr iPhone 6+ 3rd gen Apple TV Must mirror from iPhone to atv Negative First text message in, disrupts program and it lost my ride data. Had to start ride over after being half way thru Verify Rouvy email comes in and disrupts the program. Had to send verify email three times before it was acknowledged. After the secomd email, had to get off the bike to find and re-enter my email and password. Then again I had to start the ride from the beginning You know when I’m on the program, so why allow or send interrupts to the Apple TV ? Positive Wonderful graphics Realistic pedal drag going up and down the hills, way better than wahoo’s app and Zwift in my opinion Power level goes to zero when you coast, wahoo or zwift didn’t do that for me. I will try it again, but first impression are important, please fix these first ride annoyances.Version: 1.5.2

Useless! Can’t even loginDownloaded the software on the laptop but wanted to try a different connectivity to the trainer with the phone / iPads. No login with Facebook option and no way to get in. Completely useless I understand it’s more of an affordable option but this app is a joke.Version: 0.12.2

Sign on is so buggy I was never able to sign onI am not able to log into this app to use it on my Apple TV . It’s so buggy trying to log in. I can log in on my iPad somehow, but when I try and log into Apple TV it says I have the wrong password . I reset the password and now it’s saying my account is disabled . They really should make it easier to log on and work with whatever device you are using to log in..Version: 2.30.1

SubscriptionWhy is it so difficult now to cancel subscription through App Store ?.Version: 2.30.1

PowerTap problemsGiven the one star only because the app doesn’t sync both pedals. The ROUVY mobile app sync both PowerTap P1 pedals - don’t see a reason why it couldn’t be the same in this AR app. Please guys fix this and you will have a fan for life!!.Version: 0.12.3

No good on older devicesI love the app, the avatars are fun and the graphics, in particular the upcoming gradient changes are brilliant. However, even in the lowest video quality mode the video stream keeps freezing, causing your Avatar to veer off the road and/or disappear over the horizon. I measured my broadband speed to be a stable 40 Mb/s so it must be down to me running the app on an IPhone 7 and 5th generation IPad. I was advised by support to download the videos instead, but this turned out to be infuriatingly flaky, with downloads constantly failing, with no other option to start over again. Sadly, it turned out to be a waste of money for me..Version: 1.5.1

Save yourself the frustrationI paid for a full year subscription only to have the software stop sync’ing with the server two weeks later. Their technical support is terrible. They take several days to respond and, then, only uselessly like “It should work automatically.” The company did provide a pro-rated refund but all the time I spent trying to get the software to work and waiting for them to respond to my pleas for help won’t be coming back..Version: 1.3.1

Stuttering Video RideFeels like it should be the best App on the market but I could not get a stutter free video ride. Recommendation is to download the video which I did, but doesn’t stream well to TV. Apparently best result is with Apple TV which I don’t have..Version: 2.29.0

A few improvements would be appreciatedThere is a lot of blank space on the screen and I need glasses to read the small font and au would prefer to to cycle with my glasses on! Suggest the info on the top and bottom be increased 2x or 3x in font size, this will not negatively impact the scenery I cannot adjust my top gear to keep up with virtual peers on the downhill although I can take them on hill climbs. Is this intentional? When you create a custom workout, it would be great to be able to set a target RPM When you create a custom workout it would be great to be able to set a ramp for power change Thanks Greg.Version: 2.18.0

DON’T USE THIS APP!For your money you will get the app that doesn’t work. In addition to that you won’t be able to get the refund for the service you don’t get. Absolutely incompetent customer service and the company that unable to fulfil the obligations..Version: 2.23.0

Can’t even sign upDownloaded the app, open it - just takes me to the login page with no option to sign up or create account. Just trying to sign in anyway doesn’t work. what a complete shambles of an app..Version: 0.12.2

Improvement and change are different thingsThe last few updates have taken the app from an intuitive and stable product to a very strange place. The stability is horrible and things like ride selection now take you through a path of “development idiocy”. Whomever is approving the changes obviously doesn’t use the app..Version: 3.0.2

Good but needs some workI like the selection of routes and features, but developer need to work on power scaling with Wattbike. Uphills are much more difficult than I’d realistically expect and limits my route choice. Also really needs a gear selection indicator with the Atom. Hopefully this is a work in progress..Version: 2.4.0

Won’t connectThis app will not recognize my echelon spin bike and will not connect unless it’s on the list. App is unable to be used. I’m Disappointed at the limited recognition of equipment brands..Version: 2.2.0

Does not connect to InRide Kinetic sensorUnable to use Rouvy AR app as it does not allow InRide Kinetic sensor to be used as cadence, speed or power sensor (this sensor is designed to measure all three and is widely used). Strange since this sensor works perfectly in the Rouvy Workouts app but not this one. Will use AR once this is fixed..Version: 0.12.7.

It’s pretty good but falls short in some areasI find navigating through the menus to be tedious at times. It’s not always easy finding what you’re looking for. You have to go back and forth between the app on your tablet, and the website on your PC. The website has a lot more options than the app does. I use an iPad Pro as my monitor for my trainer and it really bugs me that the Rouvy app doesn’t allow split screen mode like most applications do. It would be nice if I could use my iPads’ split screen capability so that I can watch Netflix and use Rouvy at the same time, but that’s not possible. In career cycling mode you must complete cycling challenges to move to the next level, this is a nice feature but I find it difficult to complete for the wrong reasons. You must compete in an “official race”. Official races tend to only take place at 2 am, or 1 pm. At 2 am I’m obviously sleeping, and at 1 pm I’m at work. This hampers my ability to get to the next level. The difficulty in getting to the next level should be as a result of cycling challenges, not race time scheduling limitations. Overall the app is pretty good. The graphics are nice, and the courses are challenging. It’s worth checking out..Version: 1.3.3

Great courses but weak customer serviceRiding around the virtual worlds are great but the real world experience is very frustrating.Version: 2.24.1

Let down - had to go back to ZwiftI was looking forward to ROUVY. There’s a lot I don’t like about Zwift. After three days of failed attempts at connecting my smart trainer, I just had to abandon the idea. For all the faults of Zwift, at least you can get to the point of your trainer connecting…. Sigh. These services are too expensive for all the glitches..Version: 2.19.1

FrustratingI tried ROUVY for about two weeks and was enjoying it. Then I got all ready to exercise one day and I got an error that I exceeded the maximum number of devices. I had only used my one Apple TV however. I tried to go to subscription like I saw on help and could not fix. Then went to my computer and tried again. There is nothing worse that trying to work out and something like this happens. I just cancelled my membership. Not worth the hassle. I will just use my Wahoo app from now on..Version: 2.1.0

No supportIf I could put zero stars I would due to zero support from them. Say they respond in 24hrs don’t believe it. Since new update you no longer have the ability to warm up before you ride tour route, there is no cooldown available at the end of your route they even took away the split times which helped motivate you to bet segments. To do warm up before you ride has become so user unfriendly. They have even taken away the ability to look for routes organized by distance in the app. The app has become more inconvenient to use..Version: 3.0.2

AccountsThe developer Should make it available so you can cancel and re-subscribe at any time, I can’t afford to pay for this all the time but it’s good through winter, but now I can’t get on as I’ve used too many accounts so had to move to Zwift I do like the platform, you might get more custom if you did this feature, others do it.Version: 3.2.2

Some findingsGraphics of route is great. The one annoying thing I found was that the bike speed does not correlate or adjust sufficiently with the video speed and this is very distracting. I have ridden on other platforms like Zwift and FulGaz. Zwift is on the opposite end of the spectrum and so far FulGaz appears to be the most accurate for matching bike speed with video. Maybe with some more tweaking of the. AR app they will get it right..Version: 0.12.7.

Decent app - not many virtual ridesAfter using the app for 2 years I have decided to try something else. The app works decently with my Saris H3 when riding solo, but has some quirks when riding with somebody else. Bottom line Rouvy has not really upgrades it in 2 years. Also, it really takes 2 apps to run: 1 to chose the ride, 1 to do the virtual ride. However, my main reason for leaving is that in 2 years I have not seen many new rides added in part of the world I am interested in..Version: 2.1.0

DisappointedThis app has potential but poor support and inaccurate distance and speed made me give up on the trial. Rouvy distances are 30% higher compared to my GPS-calibrated head unit. Yes, I selected the correct wheel size! Without getting speed right, I don’t trust that it gets the correct Watts from the power curve published for the Kinetic Road Machine trainer. It may work better with a smart trainer? But they didn’t get the easy stuff right..Version: 3.0.2

It’s decent, and has promiseI like Rouvy a lot for the video rides that are way more immersive than Zwift. I use Ant+ and a KICKR Core with not too many issues with the core functionality. The UX needs work is my biggest complaint. It would be nice to browse challenges and select routes from a list directly in the app, instead of needing to search for them on the web. With a few more features like that, this would be the only app I used. After riding Watopia for the 10,000th time, I much prefer the variety of the Rouvy AR experience..Version: 1.3.4

No free trialDownloaded as it said 14 day free trial. To find it charged me a month straight away. Also still not sure why there is two different amounts £11 and £14. Wanted to try as I’m Currently on Zwift and friends say it’s good I have been charged twice both £14. And £11. For the same one month subscription could somebody contact me please to sort out a refund.Version: 1.3.1

Slow serversNo matter what time of the day, the fabulous ROUVY app is just stuck on “downloading ar data”. I got 1gbps fiber net at home but everything about Rouvy is a drag, their app, their website, everything is just buffering. Useless!.Version: 1.2.2

Full of glitchesDoesn’t work on iPhone5. Other riders may, or may not appear and app keeps closing down and returning me to phone’s home screen. I’ve gone back to original Rouvy app - a pity as, on the rare occasions the AR version has worked, it’s been fun racing against several other riders and seeing their avatars on the road. I did click a link to product support, but it didn’t link to anything..Version: 1.2.2

Wouldn’t recommend for long termDecent AR type rides, tho not enough choices IMO. Poor training options comparing to zwift. Poor website/app design Bad customer service Had a really time connecting to Strava, took me a dozen tries to finally connect it. A friend who downloaded the app had the same issue Overall, good if you need a month break from Zwift.Version: 2.20.0

Slope effectI have a neosmart system and the realism of the slope is awful compared to Zwift and FulGaz .I have tried to adjust the setting with no success.Version: 1.6.6

Was working great until the updateApp continues to crash every time I start an activity since the latest update. Very frustrating.Version: 2.23.0

Won’t startThis simply doesn’t work. I have everything connected and paired up, but when I hit “Start” it takes me to the devices page, and stays there, no matter how long, or how hard I pedal. The AR routes work fine in the older app, but this new one is utterly unusable for me. But of a shame you’re closing the old app down.Version: 0.11.1.

No support from RouvyI’ve had this app for 2+ years and have loved it until 6 weeks ago . Constant video freezes now. Contacted support, told them about it, and they acknowledged that the issue was on their end, they knew about it, and they we’re working on it. Weeks passed. No fix, and no one from support answers my emails seeking an update. Ready to cancel an app I’ve used daily for 2 years because no one seems to care about a very significant problem with the app..Version: 2.29.0

Speed lagsI just connected via Bluetooth to a new Schwinn IC4 spin bike. I realize that it is not fully compatible with this model but the info I have says the speed is supposed to at least sync up. When I look at the Bluetooth connection in the settings. It looks like it is reading the speed correctly from the bike, but that doesn’t translate at all to the video. I can’t get over 10mph in the video even when my bike says I’m going 25 mph. I really want to like this app but this not very fun if I can only ride at 5 mph..Version: 1.2.2

Good, Could Be GreatI train indoors 5 days a week and use the workout feature. Love the live scenery. Overall a big improvement over cartoon scenery of Zwift. Some deficiencies and bugs are forcing me back to Zwift: - workouts: erg mode on/off switch needed - some workouts require turning it off - erg bias up/down jumps way too big at 10%. Need 2% jumps - limited scenery choices for workout with same default every time Software Bug: This is the big one. During workouts, the scene freezes and the avatar rides off, leaving me with a frozen image. The sensors and timer continue to work. Happens at about an hour or so..Version: 2.20.0
