Seriously DANGEROUS app.I am going to save you a good amount of time from your life by telling you that this app is extremely misleading and completely inaccessible. First of all, ever since the new app updates and “bug fixes” whenever you try to create an account, it will just flag your account and tell you something suspicious is going on and blah blah blah then you’ll get kicked from the app being unable to use it at all. Don’t worry, you do NOT want to use this app anyways. From mine and others experiences, this app seriously seems sketchy and a scam. I added my bank and card to my account in the past to claim my bonus, but then my bonus suddenly changed to $0 on top of that when trying to remove my bank and card it would give me an error message. So my accounts and cards are in their hands. I tried to delete the account and that wouldn’t work either. So I decided to just buy something using the app with my actual money and it took me ages to find a working website I wanted to buy from because this app gives you 0 OPTIONS, finally found a website, ordered the stuff, within a minute the nate app told me my order had been detected as something suspicious and they canceled my orders and any future ones that i’ll make, asked support and they said it’s because i had made “another account” which is absolutely bull. No refund given at all, this app just wants your data and money..Version: 4.7.1

Terrible UIQuite terrible UI, no way for you to know if you’ve imported the right size or color product. You can’t use it with other store apps, you need to find items on safari. There’s more incentive to shop on individual store websites anyways because of points/discount codes/loyalty rewards that you can’t use through Nate. The instant buy concept is a little bit too literal, no way for you to confirm details before purchasing, which is shocking and scary. Good luck if you hit the ‘Buy’ button by accident because the support chat is completely useless and slow. Pretty unsophisticated app design and software overall and definitely not ready for the real world yet lol. Only gave an extra star because at least they offer cash to spend on your first purchase which is pretty cool, if only the app functioned 🤷‍♀️.Version: 4.2.0

This app is dumbIn theory this app could help with privacy concerns, and saves you from doing checkout (although by the time you save an item, then go buy it in the app you probably could’ve done autofill). Ok cool you checked out for your single item, maybe got your $50 bonus cash… Downsides— you’re now at the mercy of a useless third party customer service, who just sends canned responses when you ask questions about your order (assuming they even place the order… I’ve been waiting 2 days for them to even place my order) and have no shipping options, no customer support from the vendor, questionable returns/replacement/warranty policies, and who knows if they will even get the order right. How did this company even get started? Whose half-baked idea was this? The UI is generic garbage. The UX of sharing a product from browser and making a list and then buying in the app is tedious and many of the products saved don’t work properly— displaying a blank image and the website title but no product info. So how do you even know what you’re buying? Everyone at this company should go back to flipping burgers..Version: 3.5.0

Waste of my timeOnly reason I downloaded this app was from an Instagram ad promising $50. I received the $50 and went to place my first order. I wanted a new phone case, so tried purchasing from Casetify. Order cancelled. Don’t know why. So, I tried ordering from Kohl’s. This time the order went through, and I was happy. Until, the day the order was due to arrive and I check the tracking. I found out the order was shipped backed to Kohls for insufficient address, it was missing the apt number. Now, you add your shipping details in the app and I double checked what I put in. Sure enough, my apt number was listed. Since my order was shipped USPS, Kohl’s can’t update my address to reattempt delivery. All I can do is wait for it to get back to the warehouse and receive a refund. I checked with Nates customer service and they didn’t give me a clear answer on why this happened and only told me to update my shipping details. Something went wrong on their end clearly, but didn’t receive any apology or answer on how to correct for the future. Yeah..this is not the future of online shopping. I don’t end up in this situation when going through regular checkout and use auto fill or use Apple Pay or PayPal, which honestly took about the same amount of time. I’m glad I wasn’t out any of my own money for this order and waiting for the refund, I’d be angry then..Version: 4.3.0

Hidden FeeUpdate: there’s a hidden fee of $1 per transaction for the pleasure of using this app. Apparently the fee is hidden in the agreement when you sign up, but you don’t see it listed in the final price of the item. Pretty sneaky Nate, you got me! I now get why the check out process is so fast, they don’t want you to really see what’s happening smh I get they are trying to make this super simple but in doing so I think it’s more confusing. You can’t see shipping speed or shipping costs at checkout when you make a purchase. Their costumer service says that I needed to look into that before I bought the item but I didn’t realize I was buying the item with the last click because I was waiting to see the shipping! And no chance to enter coupon codes for free shipping / sales on the website or double check your order one last time for sizing / color. The promotional cash is great, but after that’s done I’m deleting this app, I don’t feel good about this company with the hidden fees and the inability to add coupon codes is a show stopper..Version: 3.5.0

100% scam, don’t be tempted!Like many others have stated, the app lured me with the promise of a sign up bonus. I made one purchase that exceeded the bonus amount by less than $1. I woke up the next day to 7 fraudulent unauthorized transactions in my bank account totaling almost $500. The worst part is that there is almost no info online!! Terms are hard to find, support is nonexistent. Even their social media is sketchy and vague! A small bonus is not worth it, please be safe and do not download! Update: after developer response, I will absolutely not provide any more of my info for “looking into my account”. I’ve already had to close my checking account. Do not use this app!I downloaded the app after I saw there was a $50 incentive and an influencer I followed promoted it. I thought I’d give it a try. Placed an order & the $50 was NOT applied/discounted. I immediately tried to cancel the order and Nate support told me to contact the company I ordered from via their app directly. So I contacted that company and they worked with me to cancel the order & start initiating a refund. At this point, the company I placed an order with told me they have no idea what the app is & to not use it. A couple days later I received an email saying the refund was issued. 8 business days later I haven’t received my money back. I contacted the company directly and they told me they issued a refund to a Visa card that ended in numbers that were not mine. So now I am trying to get Nate app to refund me and they won’t, claiming the money hasn’t come back to them even though the company I ordered a product from confirmed it with me directly!!! No clue how this app is even still allowed to operate, it’s a scam. Don’t use it..Version: 4.3.1

Truly amazed this made it to marketSo in theory, one touch shopping sounds great and easy pay in 4 pretty much anywhere sounds equally awesome; however, there are MAJOR flaws in the platform. 1) you cannot add multiple items to a “cart,” and instead, would check out with each of them individually, precluding you from using coupon codes and meeting min shipping requirements. So aside from the fact that you’re wasting money unnecessarily on shipping, it’s also hella wasteful packaging wise, bc the merchant is surely not going to ID that your six items are all related and ship them in one box. 2) there is no confirmation page. Once you click buy, it’s too late. If you fail to pick the Nate cash option to take advantage of the free money, oh well. You just got charged. Did you accidentally pick the wrong item/color/size, etc? Too bad. The store basically immediately confirms the order and you then have to wait for it to be shipped and go through a return process. That in and of itself is a headache, made worse by the fact that I learned this the hard way on a final sale item that couldn’t be returned. I’ve never reviewed an app in my life but the experience was honestly so baffling I felt compelled. In summation, this “one touch”shopping experience caused me to have an extended text convo with customer service, have to cross reference my bank, email, and store account to find out what exactly I bought, and was nothing even close to convenient. Scam artistsThis app is useless. They say they’re giving you $50 but it’s insanely hard to use it. They will blame everything on the stores and take 0 responsibility for their app not working as intended. The first three times I tried to use it, the merchant declined the transaction (probably because they’re doing shady things on the back end). So I tried one last time with a different merchant and the order was bigger than the $50 so they took the difference out of my checking account. That order has said “purchased” since December 21 with no communication from Nate or the store. I finally chat them to find out what’s going on and the nate rep is absolutely clueless telling me to contact the store when I can see the balance for the purchase in my Nate app. Just give me the money you stole from my bank account back like an ordinary business. THIS APP IS PSYCHOTICThe Nate app is satanic. Do not recommend! They placed two orders by mistake when I only authorized one order and they won’t cancel them for me. Also they didn’t apply the $50 credit as advertised. Absolutely terrible. Not only did I pay way too much but they charged me twice and they won’t help me. The help desk refuses to answer direct questions and they frankly don’t respond. It took me more than 12 hours to get a reply and I had to continuously send them messages until finally someone would answer with a ten minute lag in between each text. Now It’s too late to cancel the two orders that they placed by mistake and I have to contact the store myself and return two products bc I paid full price for them when I was supposed to have the $50 credit applied. 🤯.Version: 4.2.0

The world least universal shopping app. Hate it!Ugh this app has a great concept but in reality it’s only frustration. I’m able to make a purchase on 1 out of 50 websites. Only single items, which means paying shipping costs every time. I’ve tried to choose item quantity before checking out with Nate, but the purchase will still go through for 1 item. Customer service is poor. My friends have bad experiences also. If they don’t care about customers, I would question that they care about customers data privacy as well. Worst App I've Ever Put Money onI have tried to make a purchase 3 times via this app with more than enough money in my account and each order was cancelled. This app is terrible for multiple reasons. I suggest Klarna or After Pay. 1. There is no way to change an email. If you need to change your email it will not allow you too. This is where order numbers, reciepts, get sent to. 2. You cannot make a purchase online to pick up in store. 3. To get money refunded back into your bank account, it will take 7 - 11 business days. 4. Every customer service person i spoke to was absolutely terrible. They send wrong order numbers. Predatory and misleading BEWAREIt takes a lot for me to be bothered to write any kind of review for something, be it positive or negative. Well, here we are thanks to nate. So, I loved the idea of this app as a way to save things I am interested in buying online to look at and possibly purchase later, in one place. So I’ve used it to do that. Well you need to be careful if that’s what you are using it for. Because when I went to favorite a $300 piece of luggage (in other words, save a link for later but NOT buy), I accidentally tapped the “order” button and with NO confirmation of any kind, the app immediately ordered the item. I can’t think of a single other app or website that orders stuff for you without even a confirmation of the order first. Like, like not even the Wendy’s app does this. This luggage isn’t even something I’m sure that I want to buy yet! Shocked, I went to look at my orders in the app and hit “cancel”. Nothing happens. Feeling increasingly queasy, I begin a chat with this app’s customer service. I tell them, I just accidentally tapped the order button and need to cancel the order. Their answer to me is, to my bewilderment, that it is “out of their hands “ and I will have to take it up with the retailer. They tell me this literally 5 minutes after this occurs. This is absolutely predatory and anyone who downloads needs to know that before using. Needless to say I will be deleting this app and trying to file a complaint with Apple..Version: 4.7.1

Terrible serviceI obtained $200 of Nate cash from the soho popup in December. I had one successful purchase, and then I did not use Nate for a few months. Came back to find all the Nate cash gone from my app. Asked support, and they told me that apparently I have multiple accounts associated with my user information and that I now have a permanent block on my account. So basically I can’t use nate ever again. I never tried creating multiple accounts and I am disgusted by their lack of help for my situation. I understand that the money I initially obtained was free, but the fact that there is now a block on my account with no sympathy or offer to give me any credit (like a gift card) for my dissatisfaction is unfathomable. 0 stars if I couldThe only reason why I got this app was to take advantage of the $50 they give you. You can’t even use it if you wanted to! I tried to buy multiple things and waited hours for the status to change from pending to incomplete. However, when I was able to get a complete status I was told that I would receive a confirmation email from the merchant. Hours go by and there’s no email. I contact support and then I’m told that my status is still pending although it says complete through my app. I get an email related to my purchase but there’s no confirmation. So I contact support again about a confirmation number that could help me locate my purchase. I’m being told that I have no order once again! Support then tells me that I actually do, but I’m starting to think the only training they get is the art of deception. No one really knows what is going on. This app is terrible..Version: 4.1.0

Terrible appThis is a terrible app. Here’s a couple of issues I have: - Usability- seems like they did user research and just did the opposite of what users said. It’s like they deliberately made it awful. - If you try to buy something that’s pickup only, they place your order and charge you a fee for it (you still need to pay with the store). Don’t count on Nate getting your order right though because my confirmation said I ordered 2x what I originally ordered. - You can’t choose a shipping option so you’re just playing wheel of fortune when you’re going to get your item and how much you’ll pay for shipping. - You can only buy one item at a time so if you want to buy 10 items from one site, you’ll get charged shipping 10 times. - They make you link your bank account so if they try to pull some crap, you can’t challenge it with your credit card. The $50 credit that they’re offering isn’t worth the headache. They should make their slogan - we’re an impediment to a seamless shopping experience. A great way to waste your time!.Version: 3.5.0

Good premise, mediocre resultsThis app originally enticed me for the ease of shopping from multiple places and allowing me to gather a wishlist in one place. However, there were some unexpected downfalls: • you can’t purchase multiple items at the same time, just one at a time even if the multiple items are from the same site. • the order does not get placed immediately. This means if there was a today-only sale, and your order was placed through Nate the day of the sale, it wouldn’t actually go through the site until 2(ish) days later and you’d pay full price. • you can’t link rewards accounts/use coupons. I have rewards accounts for many stores that would allow me to get free shipping but instead I get charged $10 shipping because that’s what the Nate app chose. The initial sign up offers from Nate somewhat offset these detriments at the beginning but I’m not sure if I would continue to use it over time..Version: 3.5.0

Waste of timeI have tried everything to try to use this app. No matter the price or if you are using “Nate cash”, any purchase in the app requires a $20-30 hold on your bank account linked and the order will be canceled if they can’t authorize that. Aka if you have the $50 nate cash and try to buy a $10 item, if your bank declines the $30 hold (3x the price of the item that your nate cash can cover 5x…) the order will be canceled. Most sites will also cancel the order anyways because it’s flagged as fraud. And then if you finally try to place an order but you don’t use the type of email they want you to use and your domain errors out (assuming this is a nate issue as I’ve never had an issues with the email carrier I use before), they block your account as suspicious. you cannot change your email and if you try to make a new account you will also be blocked completely. You also can’t use google chrome with the app, you have to share your links through safari and even then most sites come up as an error. waste of time and effort. their customer service is also discombobulated - you’ll send 1 message and 7 different people will respond with different answers..Version: 4.5.0

Overcharged meThis is the worst app. I tried to purchase something and it said couldn’t be purchased so I tried 2 more times and all of those times it said “this purchase could not be completed. Please try another store”. Two days go by and I check my banking account and they CHARGED ME FOR ALL OF THOSE ITEMS. My bank drops to negatives and so I have to pay in overdraft fees. I talk to them to cancel the items and they canceled the purchase and tell me it will take up to 10 days to get refunded. I talk to my bank account to get the overdraft fees dropped and they say that the company I was purchasing from has to pay those fees since there app malfunctioned and so I talk to them and they say that there is nothing that they can do. In conclusion you do not need this app they are a shopping assistant(that’s what they told me). I wanted to like it so badlyDownloaded this because of the $50 cash offer they had, and found the premise intriguing. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now and have yet to have an order completely processed. I had only one order that was pending for over two weeks and finally had it cancelled since they didn’t have an eta on when it would finish processing. Apparently orders will not complete on websites that don’t have a guest checkout option. They desperately need an FAQ section and more detailed directions for how to use this app. Maybe even a list of compatible websites to order from. In the time I’ve waited for orders to finish pending, I could’ve directly ordered AND RECEIVED all three items I had attempted to order, making this app absolutely pointless to me. Not a good experienceI downloaded the app and received $250 nate cash through their nyc pop up promotion. Went to order the aritzia super puff which said $250 and they only had sizes L and XL which was fine. I ordered an L but when aritzia sent my order confirmation the order said XL. Turns out the L in the color I wanted was out of stock, but this was not indicated anywhere on the app. Additionally, it did not show me how much tax and shipping would cost, it only said “bought”, then later I found out that it would be an additionally 35 dollars on top of the $250. It’s not that I didn’t expect there to be tax but I had no clue how much it would be until after my order was placed. I don’t know if the app is always like this or if they tried (and failed) to streamline the process due to the high volume of people from the nyc pop up but I didn’t enjoy my experience and will be uninstalling once my jacket arrives..Version: 4.3.0

Steals money from your bankCrazy how many 5 stars this crappy app has, pretty sure the company is just asking its interns to submit fake reviews. It charges MULTIPLE orders when you only place one order, resulting in at least $50 being taken from your bank without your consent. This has happened 3 times already. There’s nothing customer service can do, they refuse to take any responsibility. Don’t be phased by the “free money”. So many people waited 4-5 hours in SoHo for nate’s activation, but it just resulted in more people realizing how crappy of an app this is. All the accounts I follow that promoted the event have all made posts about deleting their accounts. Curious to know how this company will survive after they run out of funds, if they even get any more funding in the next round..Version: 4.3.0

Doesn’t Work Like It ShouldI love the idea of this app. It’s great to put all of the things I want to buy on one giant linked list, except it doesn’t work. I can’t link things from shopping apps because it comes up with an error message and says “I work best on safari. ” Apps are way easier to shop on so that’s incredibly annoying considering having the Nate app itself adds a whole other app to the mix. Wish this would get fixed because it’s happened every time I’ve tried to save something that’s not already saved in the Nate app because it’s on a list I follow. Also I wish there was a profile option. Why can’t I go to my favorite influencers profiles and find all their lists??? Instead they have to link every list separately. That’s stupid. Don't understand the point and doesn't work!In its current state, I don't understand the point of nate other than getting the $50 credit for the first purchase, and I can't even redeem that because the app has serious design and technical flaws. When I reached out to support after I submitted my purchase and saw that it was still pending over 24 hours later, on their end they couldn't even see that purchase and told me all they could see were three orders that were cancelled because a size was not indicated (and yes no duh, because there's no place to select a size in the "Buy" workflow) (also I didn't even submit those orders in the first place and couldn't see them in my app view). Frustrating experience and the team should devote resources to fixing these issues instead of offering incentives to try an app that doesn't even work..Version: 3.5.0

APP IS A SCAM-FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWSI never write reviews, ever. But this app is the most frustrating app I have ever used. Multiple orders placed and none of them fulfilled. I had one that was processing for over a week and then I was told there was a “bug” that would leave orders in limbo. Nate simply just cancelled it when I reached out to them. Then I tried to place orders again and then I’m being told the orders were cancelled because of my bank. I tried multiple banks. They all link with Plaid successfully. But they always say it’s an issue with my bank and no fault of their own. Their app is shady, and if you received bonus “Nate Cash” for signing up don’t expect to use it. My guess is that they are mining for user data as I have not seen anyone actually receive an order from the sites I have searched. STAY AWAY from this app..Version: 4.0.0

Horrible, Possible ScamI had to delete my first account because of a bug in the system that didn’t allow me to make any orders. After no progress on fixing the bug, they told me to create a new account. However my inability to make any orders continued. They gave me the run around for at least two months and continued to blame my bank accounts/cards. There were no issues with either. After reading other reviews I believe they suspended my accounts ( even though I was told to make a new one after deleting the previous one) and played around with situation to keep my banking info in the system. I will definitely will be deleting the new account and warning any friends that use the app. Be careful.Version: 4.11.0

Solid pay later appNate is a great app with a lot of potential, it does its job for the most part. You go to whatever product you’d like online and share it with nate as if you were sharing it with any other app. Nate will give you the option to pay with Nate cash, your bank account or card, or set it up on a 4 week installment plan so you can pay for it over time. There are certainly no credit checks which is great because everyone’s approved and it doesn’t do anything to your credit report. I do see a lot of room for improvement as well. Nate could benefit from offering virtual cards or even a physical card for pay later options. The UI is also not too user friendly. You can’t update your email, you have to create a whole new account. Customer service is pretty good, always responds by text. Like I said, it does it’s job better than it’s competition but still needs some improvement..Version: 4.2.0

Nice when it worksWhenever it works, it’s great. Unfortunately there payment processor will flag every little mistake and stop you from making any purchases for pay in four. If they say there’s an issue with that, you can’t use nate cash. They have $60 of my own money now in nate cash I cannot use on anything and they “can’t process a refund to my bank” Customer service has no answers and will close out the chat whenever they decide to. Wish it worked :( UPDATE: it’s been a month and a half and I still have no refund. Every time I chat w/ customer service- no one knows what I am talking about or why I am getting a refund. Do Not Waste Your Time or MoneyI downloaded the Nate app beyond excited about the premise of this situation. It may be great sometime in the future, but it’s not great now and I’m out almost $400 because of it. I placed my first orders through Walmart. Despite the fact that I have a Walmart + account I was charged a “small order” fee each time. My fault for not using the same email address. However, it was not a small order because I actually ordered 8 items. On top of that, because I purchased it through Nate and not the Walmart app, there is no receipt and no way to return anything that doesn’t work. I asked Nate about it twice and they passed the buck both times. Again, this might be a good idea, but it is far from ready for the world. NOPE.First of all, let me start by saying I have never written a review for an app in my entire life. That’s how you know this app is garbage. I downloaded this because I got an ad on Instagram saying you get a free $50 credit if you download the app. That’s the only reason why I started using Nate. As far as I know, they do give you the credit, which is really great in theory! However, I tried to buy ONE pair of boots, and the order was left as pending for over a week and a half. After waiting over a week for my shoes, I opened a dispute and asked how long the order would take to process. The customer service rep told me they weren’t SURE and literally didn’t offer any other answer than that. Huh?? HOW is this app going to market if they can’t handle ONE simple purchase? The boots were in stock from Nordstrom, so not an obscure website or anything funky. The only reason I’m not giving it one star is because the app has great design and really good UX. The UI could be improved upon, as it took me a bit to find out how to contact customer service about my order. It’s such a strange concept for an app, and I’m not really sure why it exists. Not for me…This app is great if you’re trying to purchase one high priced item like furniture or a luxury piece. But that’s about it. Here are my biggest complaints and why I did not find the app to be useful for me: - You can only buy one item at a time. This is not like Afterpay where you can make payments on a cart-full of items. So, if you’re looking to buy multiple items from the same site, you’re gonna pay extra shipping. - Only works for items without options (i.e. Sizes, colors, etc.) If you’re purchasing clothing, shoes, or other multi-option items that require you to select an option JUST BEFORE you add to cart, it won’t work. - Skipping “Checkout” is a cool feature, but again, ONLY for ONE item at a time. And that’s something I rarely do which makes this feature irrelevant to me. If the developers created a way to checkout an already curated cart with multiple items and multi-option item’s preselected. This would be my go-to! To make the app reach ultimate perfection for me: - Be able to connect to Nate directly from a shopping app, instead of safari. *DISCLAIMER: I am not an app developer. So, I’m fully aware that I have no idea what goes into developing apps or what it would take to make these changes (if even possible). ScamI imported my own money into the account to purchase an item and attempted multiple times and the order didn’t go through. The customer service kept on saying there was an issue with my bank so I tried using a different bank account. This still didn’t work. The customer service is useless and spits out messages that are auto generated. They don’t think and never understand the question at hand. They still haven’t refunded my funds and have blocked me due to supposed suspicious behavior despite doing everything in order to get the app to work. Additionally everything I attempted to do was advised by there useless customer service representatives. In the beginning they said the issue was the website then I tried 15 others and still didn’t work. Then they said it was my bank so I used a different bank account, and still it didn’t work. Keeps deducting from my bank!There’s an ongoing “bug” around where they’ll either place the order TWICE (with it only one showing on your “purchases” page) or your balance + bank gets charged for someone else’s random order, where you couldn’t even see the amount until it appears in your bank statement days later. You can simply ask customer service to have the unauthorized amounts refunded back onto your bank, but if you’re on you’re on another account on the same device (because you have family or your first account always gets cancelled orders due to “fraud”) customer service WILL ATTACK YOU and refuse to communicate/resolve your issue. I just recently had a $100+ unauthorized transaction refunded but just today, another unauthorized charged had been placed and the deduction and dipped into my bank. My best advice is to just unlink the bank whenever you’re not using it or right after placing the order. Because this is outright wrong with having dangerous “bugs” like this and unhelpful outsourced support agents handling your issue..Version: 4.2.1

Great app but a lot needs to be doneLove the concept and they did give me $50 credit. However upon my purchase they decided to take the expedited shipping for some reason. It doesn’t give the option on the app to choose. I like the idea how you can save a bunch of your wanted items in a list you create very easily from any website. However, the simplicity could be a shortcoming when actually purchasing products since the information available before a purchase is very vague for some products. I could see this app being useful for me if they tweak some things.Version: 3.5.0

Difficult app and the developers don’t careToday, the app sent out an email saying everyone would get $50 to spend for the new year. Mine wasn’t there. I jumped on chat and asked for help. They said it would pop up in a few hours. Now I got an email saying it was all a mistake. When I signed up I was promised $50 for signing up and $20 after my next two purchases. I got the $50 and used it after multiple attempts. They cancel orders often and you won’t get an email if it’s cancelled. You have to remember to check the app and see if your order worked or not. They won’t let you purchase from any website you have to log into. The comments on their social media is turned off for a reason. They don’t want bad publicity..Version: 4.3.0

Difficult to work with.They give you the $50, which is cool. But then it will cancel orders because it says that the site you are using is requiring them to set up an account (they can only fulfill orders if the site has guest checkout) but the site I am using does offer guest checkout. It’s also a site that they took on order from already. Then it won’t take any links from eBay and Etsy, it’s just really difficult to work with, I got 2 orders through but I tried to put through 7, and still trying. They make you work for that $50 lol but seriously it’s so difficult I just end up paying for it myself. Seriously it’s such a headache once I get my 2 orders I’m going to close my account..Version: 4.2.1

Useless and Poor FunctionalityI could not recommend this app less, I have had nothing but trouble. I was given $50 to spend on the Nate app and have had trouble even spending it! Every website I try cancels the order or the order fails to be purchased. The app only shows you the order was incomplete but does not give you any reason why…I found out through customer service. Out of 10 tries only 2 orders went through so I gave up even trying to use the app. About a month later I see the app randomly charged my debit card for $45, I contacted support and they said it was a “system error” (big error in my opinion and bad system) and that my money would be returned in 10 days (usually its 3-5 for a refund). Ridiculous. Besides my misfortune I really don't see a need for this app anyways, you cant add multiple things to 1 order (or I haven’t figured out how), you don't pick a shipping option (i guess the app does it automatically), and most online merchants block this app as a bot and you cant even order! Bottomline: Do not waste your time..Version: 4.4.2

Don’t botherThis app is a great idea and they give you a $50 bonus for connecting your bank account. I also think it’s genius to be able to give a gift to a friend! I tried gifting two items and both were accepted by my friends, but cancelled by the merchant apparently. First off, I didn’t get any sort of notification or email stating or explaining why my orders were cancelled. Status: cancelled. I had to contact CS, which gave me the same auto generated responses for a few hours. It’s important to note that for these gifts, I used the $50 Nate cash for one, and my bank account (working debit card, just had direct deposit). The CS person told me that larger companies can cancel an order if it’s placed with some privacy card so they can’t data mine - don’t remember exact words but apparently Nate cash doesn’t work with big companies like Sephora. The other order was cancelled due to a bank account issue but I have no idea why. This was my second time giving the app a shot and every time I try to purchase something it doesn’t work out. I also don’t like the app interface, kind of confusing and leaves something to be desired… just gonna stick with Klarna and Afterpay. Bummed the gifting thing didn’t work out, it’s a great idea..Version: 4.3.0

Pay Later option nonfunctionalI’ll give it 2 stars because I was able to make purchases with it and was able to link my bank account with Plaid. However I was never able to use the Pay Later option. I have tried to unlink and link again the bank account but ever time I tried to use that feature I would receive the error message “oops something is off”. The app does nothing different or special if all I’m doing is making the purchase directly with the app, as opposed to checking out with the retailer. In that case it’s pointless. There is no benefit if I am using this app just to check out without using the pay later to split the total price. Attention developers, fix this. I didn’t find anything that explained the requirements to use pay later. I had high hopes but it’s being uninstalled. Bye boo..Version: 4.10.0

Not sure what to think so farI downloaded the app, signup was easy. There was a $50 bonus for connecting your back account which is okay. I started with a small order so far. However, you can’t choose more than one item unless you buy it twice which ultimately means more shipping cost. Also, I still haven’t received any kind of notification that my order was actually purchased, or shipped, and I’m sure for many knowing what process your stuff is in is important. The money hasn’t even left the account, although it says purchased. Not sure how much I’ll use in the future, it’s a bit easier at this point to just purchase directly from the store, unless you are looking for the pay later feature. Will see how the rest of the process goes and maybe update. Update: I eventually just closed my account. It had been days since my order and I hadn’t received a confirmation or anything. It just stayed as pending. When I messaged to cancel, a rep asked how they could help, I said I wanted to cancel since I hadn’t heard anything. They never responded, I just saw the canceled notifications come through minutes after. I’m assumed the order was never placed, since they didn’t even offer a status update or response..Version: 3.5.0

Great concept, but details matter!Love the idea! But it simultaneously makes ordering items easier AND more difficult. I like that I can save everything jn one place. But The app cancels orders when it can’t tell what size you selected and gives no option to correct the size. It also doesn’t tell you how much to expect in shipping costs until after it’s been charged. No ability to use coupons, vendor promo codes, or Afterpay flexibility. The free $50 enticed me to try it, but after I tried to buy something it canceled, but kept the additional $28 it pulled from my bank account in the app with no clear way for me to retrieve it. Once I’ve spent it on something (which is taking forever because this app isn’t compatible with most places I want to shop at) I’m deleting. Hopeful it will improve and I can use it again when it’s been a bit more fine tuned!.Version: 4.3.0
