Yes you can be free play and take 2 years to get to where the big spenders $2k-$50k can buy their way to in the first 2-3 months of a server. Game is completely unbalanced and eats up ridiculous amounts of time and effort for crap prizes. If you have an addictive personality avoid this game at all costs. $3500 in over 8 months, still get destroyed by other players. There isn’t, the way you win is by having better equipment than your enemy, and they way you get that is by building more depots. That is fine, but once you commit your troops to battle you get some graphics where you watch them shoot at each other, (or at least you can press the skip button,) and eventually the biggest troops will win. Absolutely nothing happens in the middle of the battle: you come in with the best troops and you win, or you don’t and you lose. Most battles are against NPCs, so it is fairly simple to pick ones you can win and that will give you some gold and research points that you then use to upgrade your depots and build bigger troops. The only challenge of the game is if you have enough time to go tap on all the buttons with red dots to see if there are upgrades or missions or whatever available... ✓ Top war got bugs that need to be fixedWhenever I play or load the game, the land, water and air troops I train and merge disappear as if I never merged or built my units. It happened again after I got rid of the game and got it the second time, I tried to give this app a second chance. I had 2 level22 planes made and stored in the airport which holds air troops. When I checked the airport storage, it shows one level21 plane as if I never had a level22 plane. I’m done giving this game a chance, the suggestion that game producers or creators wasn’t helpful at all and I hope others delete this app. I didn’t spend to much money on this app, but I spent just a little bit to help boost me in upgrading my units so I can do my attacks on claiming new land. ✓ Game has serious flawsThis game could be fun but it has several flaws that make it not very much fun. My number one complaint is that if someone attacks you and relocates their base (and this happens every time) then you do not have the ability to attack them because the attack record is linked to the location they were when they attacked. So many people are too afraid to stay put and let me go after them. My number two complaint is the battle method. Let’s say I have 100 level 79 tanks and someone attacks me with 10 level 80 tanks. They win. It will put 10 of my tanks against their 10 and I lose. That goes on for 10 rounds or until I run out of tanks. I’m sorry but a real battle would have all 100 of my tanks attacking their 10 and they would lose badly. My third complaint is time. I don’t really care if people attack me and take my gold. What stinks is that it takes me a week to rebuild the tanks, ships, and planes. I understand that the developers want me to spend money to speed it up but it isn’t fun if you have to wait forever to get you equipment built because someone attacked you and ran away. It’s a building and grafting game which is enjoyable if you want a strategy game to play in the long-term. They have plenty of modes on offer and can easily be promoted in a way that works. Also, you’re not tricking people into believing it’s real when every ad looks wildly different gameplay wise and even quality wise. Whereas this is a problem for a lot of mobile game ads (which btw, if your game is that boring that you need to lie about it when advertising, you shouldn’t even be releasing it in the first place, but that’s what happens when bad games are mass produced for the sake of getting money from the ads in the game) I wouldn’t be surprised if most people delete this game as soon as they open it as it’s not what they wanted. Top War, my advise to you would be to ditch these bad actors on Tik tok to advertise a fake version of your game and simply be truthful. ✓ Pay to play issuesI love this type of game. Like most games of this type everything costs money to grown fast and strong. My major issue I have is a big one for me. The events are not properly explained and often misrepresent. You spend money to reach a goal only to find out that the rules were not properly worded and explained. Example: recently there was an Easter Basket Event the goal was for your alliance to complete tasks to reach your basket to level 7. In the event page it stated if your basket reached level 7 you would obtain extra items via the in-game mail system. I spent money to obtain extra items to go with the items I would be getting via mail. My alliance reached level 7 but the mail never came. A rival alliance had attacked our basket at the last minute causing our basket to lose points. No where in the rules did it state you could lose points nor did it say you had to maintain level 7 to get the extra items. To me this is a theft of services. Do to the poor wording and full explanation of the event the money spent on the event was lost. I contacted the development team showing screen shots and their own rules and explanation of the event. I received a 1 sentence reply of our alliance had to maintain level 7 to obtain the reward. ✓ Hot GarbageI found this game on an advertisement. It displayed people on rafts stealing and attacking each other, which is complete clickbait. Instead, it feels a rip off Boom Island (pretty sure it’s called something else now). The game is missing detail, with cash grabbing offers filling the screen. Not only is it expensive, but at the cost of having to watch adverts, I don’t think I should be getting spammed with cash grabs every 2 seconds. Besides, you build an island with defensive units, and expand these by the currency in this game being used to buy these. It’s just a loop of the same thing. Mobile games aren’t famous for graphics, which is fine. Low poly games, 2d games and more are good. Even some games are getting really realistic, and achieve this by optimising the device and graphics! This not only does not fit the borders of an original iPad (no external displays, emulators, …), putting these ugly black bars around most of my screen. You do not get what is advertised and when you complain they respond once and then close the chat so you cannot respond to them. When I complained and pointed out the advert did not mention it was for 30 days only they changed the wording on the advert. But I still have the screenshots of how it read when I purchased it. Many are out to have fun, however others are out to tear into everyone else. The game is designed for folks to build a virtual city and able to interact with others as much as you like, build alliances or simply join, or go to war. I had a great intro and joined an alliance full of great people. However, after building a great start, the established big players came and tore me up. It is a game that demands your full time plus attention. 30 plus hours a week. If you are not careful, it will become a Full time ordeal, or more. The other players that want to bully, made me realize, this was a complete distraction and not on worth having. Most servers find some compromise of players and alliances to draft those terms based on the interests of the players there. ✓ MehIt’s a cute game and I do like it. There’s a lot to do and I don’t understand some of it but I am playing for the very first time so I’m still learning. The translation feature is nice because there’s a lot of different languages being spoken. I do find it a bit hard to clan up with a lot of different languages though, when you need clear and direct orders but you’re having to hit translate and decipher orders, it’s a bit frustrating. That’s not a game issue and rather a clan issue on my end though. It’s hard to figure out server and event times because it’s different for everyone it seems as the game auto calibrates your time with the server time. So I’m missing a lot of events and things because I can’t get a definitive time to be there and available…Also, a communication/ clan issue in my end. Over all it is a cute game and if you’re able to team up with people you can have clear communication with, I’m sure it is a lot of fun. But I am going to delete it, it uses so much data that I’ve gone through probably 30-40 gb in about 2 weeks. ✓ “Most fake ads ever” awardThat pretty much says it all... i played for years, and still see ads, but none of them show anything about the actual game. Not one. The game is dominated by mega clans full of whales, who find it fun to destroy every lower level they can… even when they don’t get anything out of it. The support is a literal joke. Numerous people had the same problem as I did, with booster items not appearing. Write tech support to complain, and they ask for a picture. That’s right, tell them you did not get X, and you are told to send a picture. Of what you didn’t get. I tried for a year or so to get help, and every time it was the same series of inane pointless questions. Once I was told to delete my account and start over. Ummmm… no. I was max level, NOT going to start over. There’s very little to recommend about this game … except it usually doesn’t crash. Gee. Bait and switch practices are scummy… and if you cannot advertise ANY element of your game… how good is it? Update… funny, I keep leaving 1 star and this same review… but it keeps being edited out. ✓ Endless regurgitated tasks every dayThis game is Groundhog Day on steroids. There is no “clan”/alliance congruity, no internal alliance dialogue that allows players to strategise and attack or defend… And what/who are we attacking or defending against? It’s just an endless merry go round of the same “battles” to get random items to update a recycled upgrade of units. Seriously, once you get to level 20, they just keep recycling the same 5 types of units as you upgrade through the levels, to no end. They couldn’t have had the best strategy war game on the market, instead they gave a shiny click heavy game to make you feel like you’re progressing, but in reality you’re just getting closer and closer to clicking on the wrong item and deciding to pay for it because you’re bored with all the other useless day to day drivel of the game..RiktazVersion: 1.358.0

✓ AdsWhen this game came out the ads were accurate and the game was decent however recently the ads have been the most inaccurate I have ever seen. They show a completely different game and yet the ads start with someone saying about joe this ad will show what the game is like. All of these ads have comments turned off which shows that the creators will know they will get called out which is why I’m having to write this here. I played this game for quite a while however these ads are popping up everywhere and are starting to annoy me. ✓ It’s an alright game but…I love strategy games, but this game is way to simplistic in its game play for me, I only downloaded this game because the advertisements show a more hands-on combat style, even though the actual battle play only involves you placing your troops in absolute random order (especially considering there is a “quick reply” button) and then leave for 30 seconds until the battle finishes), you get rewards then level up in a monotonous fashion, which allows you to have better troops then attack stronger enemies…good concept, but gets boring after a while.Hdjejnd382Version: 1.230.0
