✓ Well done!!Absolutely love the game 😍...Version: 1.4.0
✓ Some server issues, greedy gameIf you’re into match-3 games or gatcha games, this is a solid one, but it won’t blow you out of the water. Graphics are fine, character design is creative, and there’s lots to do. Unfortunately, the game slows to a halt around level 30, and that’s when it becomes all about premium currency. The energy system and daily login rewards are both about as stingy as I’ve ever seen, and I’ve played a lot of these types of games. 3-4 levels before energy is depleted is ridiculous, but of course you’re more than welcome to buy more energy. Login rewards are laughably small, especially at higher levels, and progress becomes extremely slow because the developers try to slow you down to play on your impatience to rush buildings, equipment, etc. It takes multiple days to construct a single high-level building, and outside of scarce time-rushers, paying enormous amounts of gems is the only way to move faster. I’ve spent $2 in the game, the first purchase being a “bonus” unlocked after beating a level, and the other being a one-time purchase of a free 10x draw each day for a week. The latter was worth it. I almost never make IAPs in these games, so they got me, but the game is getting staler by the day 3-4 weeks in because it’s just too dang slow to do anything now. I would be more likely to keep playing if there were interesting events, big bonuses, etc, but these are lacking, and on top of that, there are pretty frequent server issues. It takes 2-3 launches for the game to actually start almost every time. Overall, a decent time-sink, but nothing extraordinary..Version: 1.4.9

✓ Nice! But...Great take on a match3 RPG. Plays well. Bright and cheerful graphics. All in all well made. . . . But I think we are all kinda sick of seeing that tired old equipment upgrade scheme that is in every single phone rpg. ✓ Fun but my older phone can’t handle itThis game is one of the better match 3’s I’ve played. I love building up the characters and acquiring new ones. Art style is clean and fun. My only issue is that my poor iPhone 6 keeps crashing out at random intervals. (What can you expect from a phone this old 🤷🏻♂️) I’ll still keep playing because it’s fun enough that even if it crashes I can enjoy it for a bit during breaks..Version: 1.1.6
✓ Amazing!!!!I was pretty upset when I learned that Hunters and Puzzles was being discontinued but when I was looking at the global chat I saw that someone mentioned Valiant Tales I decided to try it out. And it has not disappointed me what so ever! The game is very addicting and immersive and I can’t get enough! The story is pretty fun and the different challenges with the arena and Valhalla tower make it even better! I can’t wait for more content with this game!!.Version: 1.4.9

✓ Fun and highly addictive gameIf you are a rpg and 3 match fan. I think you will love this game. Love the fact is has that feel of not just matching gems for random luck but makes you work at leveling up your skills, gear and working the best combos of characters. For me, this game feels the need of having a ffxiv mmorpg type game but in a 3 match rpg style. The guild battles and Guild bosses are super fun as well..Version: 1.7.4

✓ Surprisingly good so farAnd when i say surprising i meant that in a great way since igg is one of the worst mobile game developers iv seen so far in my opinion other than niantic, especially with a garbage game like lords mobile in their lineup 🤮🤮🤮🤮, its entertaining and not a pay for everything game, FINALLY, pretty much anything you should be able to grind out it seems so far, im also glad it doesnt have that garbage lords mobile fighting arena style of whoever can cast first wins or whoever has a certain pay to play character wins 🤮🤮🤮🤮, the puzzles and turns replace all that and make it even to equipment and combos on the board, although i do think merlins orb was an unecessary and stupid idea so ill take a star for that, its a good game so far but its probably the only igg game i will ever be interested in before i die, also for anyone reading my review if you didnt get the hint already ill say it again, LORDS MOBILE IS GARBAGE, thanks.Version: 1.4.0

✓ Great Game !I have enjoyed this game a lot. I have been on it for awhile now , couple wks before their 100 day anniversary in fact. It’s really fun and the animations and graphics are great. The heroes looks amazing and are different. Instead of the boring standard types most games do. V.Tales puts effort in the looks just as much as the gameplay. Definitely a good way to kill the time. NOW only downside that I hope the developers work on if they hadn’t already heard from others , is lately the game is dropping and it’s annoying that it takes 2-3 times for the game to open. It’ll stop at 75% and said to “try again” wether I’m on data or really decent wifi. Lol but that’s it. Plz fix that and it’ll be perfect..Version: 1.5.9

✓ Extremely funExtremely fun match-3 game. It is my favorite one that I’ve played. I love the ability to collect heroes and improve them by collecting gear. Suggestion: I would like to be able to move the buildings around. As far as I can tell, there is no way to do this. And either lower the energy requirement for stages or increase the energy limit significantly. At full energy, I can do only 2 stages and it eat up all of my energy. Also, I’m confused as to why the bottom rarity of heroes is labeled R (rare) when they are the most common. Doesn’t really make sense. Regardless, I think I will be playing this game for a long time. ✓ Best Mobile Game, but...I want to first point out the positives: Fairness - This game is almost-perfectly fair. In fact, the gameplay is so skill-balanced that I can often beat teams full of higher-level characters, just by paying attention and making strategic use of my characters. Substance - This game does a TON to make sure you pay a fair amount of attention to ALL of your characters, whereas most games are designed to make you focus on a few characters at the cost of the rest. Recovering resources after they’ve been spent actually costs a fairly hefty amount, which encourages you to actually commit when you power your guys up. No Ads - There are NO ads in-game that you don’t volunteer to view outside of battle, and they don’t do that annoying thing where they make you watch an add after every battle for x2 rewards. And even though you CAN pay for power, it’s barely encouraged and you can definitely get by without doing so. Fun - Puzzle Quest is one of my favorite games, and this tops it in almost every way. It’s not just match-3, it’s match-3-or-4, which allows for much more dynamic combo resolutions and increased flexibility of play. Small Nag - Unfortunately, the game does that thing in later levels where it artificially increases difficulty by giving you fewer tiles that match the colors of the characters you have in your party. So, if you have two green heroes, one blue and one purple, the board you play on will generate red tiles more often than the others. I know it’s a common way to balance these kinds of games, but I can still tell the difference between the times I lose due to lack of skill, and the times I lose because the computer wouldn’t generate tiles I could use. My request - More special tiles please! Right now it’s just bombs and color-clear, but it’d be fun to have tiles that will clear a line, or a special tile that changes the tiles of one color to match that OF the special tile. Just a few thoughts..Version: 1.5.2
