Deleted my account😒They deleted my account after I missed the phone call interview but I immediately called them back to let them know I was available to do it. Another lady picked and told me she was going to tell the interviewer that I was ready I said okay I’ll wait. I never got a call back and then they deleted my account after I waited two weeks for a phone call interview. I was really excited to work with them..Version: 1.4.56

AnnoyingGot this app to pick up a couple shifts before I went on vacation and never had the time to finish my application, there should be a warning or some pop-up to manage the notifications because I got WAY too many. As in two emails a day, every day. Feels super ridiculous to remind someone that frequently about a simple app and that you need to “finish an application”. My memory isn’t that bad I think an email a week would suffice? Seems great for work as long as getting bombarded with notifications and almost 20 emails a week doesn’t overwhelm you. Change the settings right away if you can..Version: 1.4.87

FailureKare has fail me tremendously!!! I been work with Kare for about 8 months now i have three small children that attends daycare sometimes i have to call because either the daycare closing because somebody have covid or the kids simply can’t go because they are sick . Well Kare don’t even care about none of that !!! I only call of if their is an emergency and i also provide doctor documents for my children Kare didn’t care they suspended me one time i gotten a flat tire on my way to work had call triple A well guess what i provide documentation and Kare still suspended!!! Right now i have a fracture index finger and was in the hospital also i lost my phone i explained everything sent my discharge papers and doctor note with instructions how to care my finger they remove me from Kare platform all together i had 4 calls off and one no call no show only because i lost my phone and explained this they didn’t care !!!! but they suppose to be KARE rate them no stars if i could.Version: 1.4.71

Facility owners/HR bewareI have never reviewed an App, but I think it’s very important that the communities who hire a caregiver from this site be aware of the major defect in the app. We hired a “hero” she showed up an hour late, she was given a company uniform to wear - in less then an hour she told the manager she wanted to put her purse in her car. She abandoned the shift and tossed the uniform in the parking lot. The staff at the facility was welcoming, even though she was an hour late everyone was helpful to her. She left without even telling anyone she was leaving. Then left the facility a bad review. THE MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THE APP - the caregiver supposedly gets taken off the app, but the facility can not respond to the negative review. Even as I write this review I know the developers can respond to my negative review. The only person who gets hurt is the paying customer….Version: 1.4.92

Beware of working with this appFirst of all they want you to call off/ cancel a shift 4-3 days ahead of time like what kind of stuff is that I l would be okay with 2 days maybe but not 4 then when you do it It’s at there discretion to suspend you or not they suspend you for the dumbest things even with documentation then they have some of the worst facilities to work at and you don’t know until you get there because there’s no ratings on them but they can rate the worker I mean I’ve reported a facility on how they treat the staffing and Kare told me just don’t pick up there no more like no you need to check the facility and on top of that they take to Long to pay you out your money gotta wait until pay day like a regular job overall terrible experience glad I deleted my account.Version: 1.4.96

Stay AWAY FROM THIS APP !I’ve been with this app for over two years they will suspend you for the simplest things , don’t try to travel to another state with them they will let you get way out here and have the shifts canceled and not inform you until you get to the facility! They’re customer support IS NO HELP ALL THEY WILL SAY IS THE POLICY THIS AND THE POLICY THAT EVEN WHEN REAL LIFE SITUATIONS ARE HAPPENING! All they want to do is make money off you ! They do not care ! They love to suspend people for 7-14 days ! And threaten to kick you off the app for no reason ! Stay clear of this app! I would advice intely care or clipboard or shift key if your looking for prn shifts !.Version: 1.5.27

The support makes no senseI created account in Jan 2023 and I deleted it since I have to use name that matches my name on my social security card. I requested to delete my account and they sent me restore link (Jan 23, 2023) in case I changed my mind and that link lasts for 2 days. Today Feb 24, 2023 I tried to create a new account with the same email address and phone number and it says both email and phone number exists. I tried to login, it says invalid email address. I called for support and they say they have to create IT ticket on behalf of my account but since my account doesn’t exist on their end, they asked me to create new account using another email address and my friend’s phone number. Sorry but I worked in IT for 10 years + and this is the most ridiculous work around.Version: 1.4.104

Lowest paying agency with “ bonus”•The sign up process is VERY lengthy like a month long. •No you don’t have to work a minimum number of shifts. •The base pay is staff pay plus a bonus -$11-13 an hour plus $100 bonus so $200 a shift if you get the bonus. -the facilities rate you and that depends on if you get the bonus or not. •The offer $100 for 5 star reviews that’s what they have the rating they do because people are giving them 5 stars for $100. •Major of the shifts are 100 miles away no joke. Honestly don’t sign up for them because other agencies like ShiftKey and IntelyCare offer $18-20 plus and hour. ShiftKey you bid on shifts so if a shift is $19 you cans bid up to $3 or more and still gets the shift and no taxes taken out. IntelyCare the base pay is set at $18 but if the shift isn’t taken it will go up the longer you wait and it’s w4 and offers insurance after 5 shifts. Better agencies out there that doesn’t pocket the money off your hard work..Version: 1.4.62

Don’t waste your timeThis agency is very deceiving. The base pay is like 15 and then the bonuses are only granted if get rated by facilities, then the locations are so far away! I picked up my first shift two days before the actual shift and they never responded…Also to have to go drive so far not to be guaranteed the bonus is insane. They pay you $100 to basically lie and say how great they are but they are not. Don’t waste your time there are more great agencies out there! If I could give it a zero star I would!.Version: 1.4.78

Onboarding is trashI initially started onboarding in 2021…. Yeah, they still haven’t activated my profile yet. Every time I email to ask about what the hold up is, there’s always some new information that the person before has failed to mention. Nobody in onboarding and HR knows wth they’re talking about. And I called in to have my profile looked over and the phone rep started commenting on my profile photo and how my makeup makes me look different from my ID. Super unprofessional. LPNThe KARE app is really poor in performance, in that it makes so hard to pick up shifts. For instance after you pick a shift, it takes you back to the beginning of the month to start scrolling all over again. Why can’t the shifts be arranged on the dates of the month, all one needs to do is is click on the desired date and day to pick a shift, instead of scrolling through the app. If one of your staff can take a look at Clipboard health’s app you will see what I mean. Secondly when ever I get into a facility the app gets hard to work with, it kind of freezes, and I have to turn the phone off, to have it reset..Version: 1.5.27

THIS APP IS HORRIBLE DONT WORK FOR THEM!!!!!❌❌❌This app is terrible and I’m here to tell you why. First off I’ve been working for this app for almost a year now and the hr is TERRIBLE they don’t care about they employees and suspend you for the dumbest reasons. I’ve been suspend on 3 different times. First time I had to wait in the ER for 7 plus hours with my fiancé because I had a eczema flare up but I don’t good skin. I gave care my credentials from my own doctor. On top of that I showed them active photos of me flaring up and they still denied me and suspended me. And they just suspended me this morning for calling off because first off I’m from Chicago Illinois and traffic get bad out here but this morning a event was going on and to get from Chicago to Naperville was an 1 and 30 minutes plus and I reached out to the facility and every thing they suspended me still and the facility I picked up for in the past and I was going to work this weekend for them, they canceled my remaining shifts and put me on the DNR list. DO NOT WORK FOR THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND DONT “KARE” ABOUT ANYONE, I’m going back to clipboard IMMEDIATELY!.Version: 1.4.100

They don’t pay the work 4 shifts get $300 bonusWhen you first sign up, they tell you if you work 4 shifts in your first two weeks you’ll get a $300 bonus. I’ve spoken to 3 different people who tell me I’ll get it that day or next and I still haven’t gotten it. After speaking with other Kare employees, the same thing happened to all of them. They either lie and say they’re depositing it, or they say you didn’t meet some requirement that was never discussed..Version: 1.4.94

ConfusedI understand this is a “job” app but when I signed up you all asked me for my social. That was very shady to me. I understand a job hiring me and needing my info, but honestly you all haven’t even offered me an interview so am I just supposed to assume I have the job just because I downloaded the app? Did not sit well with me, wish I could give no stars. I had to add the one star so I could submit this. I already had my information stolen not trying to deal with that all I’m trying to do is get a job..Version: 1.4.101

DisappointingSo let me say this is my personal opinion and experience. So I worked a shift with the company and child felt sick , I submitted documentation and accidentally blurred out the date on my notice, this wasn’t my information it was my child’s information with other personal information on it. So my advisor talked to me about the situation due to having to call off ; I walked away from my phone missed the call and received a notification stating I was being let go. This was a minor error on my part. I was told to send In information with nothing missing such as the date. The reason I’m disappointed is because I wasn’t given a chance to fix the issue before termination and my minor child has COVID. I thought the health care professionals responsibility is not just the community we serve but to promote health and wellness as a general rule of thumb. I have the information necessary but I’m not sure I want to proceed given the immediate treatment over an accidental situation. NotificationsThe notifications are HORRIBLE you will get text messages emails and app notifications all day long about all the companies in the app very annoying and sometimes when you get close to the facility like right out it will not clock you you might have to check in mulitple times and check out multiple times. Also the communities constantly cancel Im upset because I did not get my bonus if you work 4 shifts I applied to numerous shifts and they all cancelled but then the shifts opened back up the day of the shifts starting . I like to plan ahead sometimes they will post shifts within 5 minute start times impossible.Version: 1.4.93

PayI signed up with them last year the policy was once the supervisor signed you out you get paid the next day now you have to jump through hoops of fire just to get paid which is ridiculous down to have to remind the supervisor to verify your shift even if they clocked you out just to paid or you have to wait a week if they don’t verify it in enough time I will not work for agencies that will give me a hards way of getting paid it’s bad enough this job is back breaking as a cna with not so good facilities.Version: 1.4.94
