✓ Love the minimalismThis app has become beautiful and elegant due to the careful omission of certain features. I love it for providing a unique experience and don't want it to become like the rest. ✓ Great AppI wanted a Twitter app that offered me a chronological timeline and stopped showing me things from people I didn’t follow, as the content Twitter’s algorithm(?) showed me was often just a bit too mean spirited or “viral” for me. This does that and has a bunch of other nice features. • The smart filters are really good. I don’t want to hear about Brexit or US politics or how politicians in America and the UK are trying to kill us all, and now I don’t have to. Also, I have never cared about people tweeting customer support, and that’s all gone now. • Close friends is a lovely touch and I think that it’s great for me staying on top of people I actually care about rather than the myriad journalists and self-publicists I’ve followed over the years. I just don’t want news all the time. • Not making likes and RTs immediately visible means I’m less worked over numbers and interacting with things more organically. Before when I saw a tweet with 200k RTs it’d change the way I thought about content; now I’m just considering it from my own perspective. I really like it. It’s not perfect but it seems like the dev team is really small so I’m willing to ride out teething issues and switch to the Twitter app when I need it. Threads don’t work great and there are no link previews (which, to be honest, isn’t such a bad thing — I’m less inclined to follow click bait now — but might be jarring to some. But as someone that finds social media all a bit intense sometimes this app is great and will leave me feeling less overwhelmed by it all..Mike OCDVersion: 2020.0

✓ One small problemThe app is great, I love the UI, love the features, and I love the references, it’s a unique Twitter client and it was obviously made with care, but mentions don’t register properly, whereas I can usually click on the mention and go to someone’s account, it just is normal text, I also don’t get notifications when someone mentions me. This manages expectations, but if they added direct messages and lists, for me it would be in a position to function as a stand alone client. The interface is clean and a pleasure to use.
