Imprint: Learn Visually for Positive User Reviews

Wow this is so engagingSo please I downloaded this app this evening. Feel a real sense of accomplishment already. Rather than endlessly scrolling through social media I have found something that is worth doing. Thank you! Brill concept..Version: 4.0.0

Amazing appI love this app! I feel like I am learning so much all the time and it also encourages me to read more. The content is really good 😍 4 stars and not 5 because I find the suscription a bit too pricey and I wish I was quizzed on more than 5 questions a day. Lucid should also gamefy those books like duolingo and encourage the reader to read those books again to make sure that we stored those learnings in our long term memory storage. Looking forward to see how this app will evolve !.Version: 3.5.36

Neurodivergents: DOWNLOAD THIS NOW!Another “I never write reviews but I have to for this” post. Lucid has changed the game. I’ve read 12 books in a week. In a week! I’ve always thought 90% of most books are filler, and Lucid takes the key points and cuts out the rest. I’ve started taking notes in the notes app so I can reflect later on. It’s nothing to do 10 chapters a day, and I can remember everything I’ve read! If you have ADHD or a neurodivergent mind, this app is 100% a must have is worth the cost of membership. I can’t wait to see more titles added in the business & philosophy sections, but you have a lifelong customer in me!.Version: 3.5.32

Some distracting language errorsI find the information provided in this app invaluable. But as a US-based writer and editor, I was disappointed to see typos and mistakes. For example, “towards” is used throughout. That’s UK English; US English is “toward.” Unit 6 repeats a sentence with subject-verb disagreement. Part of a sentence reads, “that allow someone receive,” so “to” is missing. Commas are misused. Extra spaces remain between hyphenated terms. Perhaps the proofreading was rushed or performed by someone with other skills. The authors will be shocked to learn of these oversights in their excellent work, but experts make mistakes. I’d be happy to proofread the work free of charge, because I gained quite a lot from my free trial. Either way, thank you..Version: 4.5.1

Latest update results in the app crashingLatest update results in the app crashing while trying to open it. Otherwise great app!.Version: 4.1.5

Wow okI don’t know how they create this for every single book but they break up the essential main points into bite size chunks and explain it VISUALLY and graphically with ANIMATIONS. Like wow I love this so far.Version: 4.1.4

.Talk about getting your wings clipped. Obviously nothing is free, but when a person is looking to better their mental health, selecting all the prompts to get you to your lesson. Then a pop up “anxiety is a bad habit” but to know why you must pay. That really doesn’t help the “bad habit” . Reasonable price, possibly for those who want to better their financial knowledge . Probably not the best for those who just want to better their mental health. On a lighter note the good thing is that the payments can be recurring so one can feel safe about getting a “bad habit” attack if they forget to pay their bill. I’m sure it’s a good app though . Four stars because it got me motivated , not five because I don’t fully know if works as it promotes itself..Version: 4.5.5

IPad version? Please make an iPad version of the app.Version: 3.4.25

Personal development Kaizen styleThis little app is pure joy for any busy people sick of social media. Anytime you want just jump in a read something really interesting instead of just scrolling C R A P in your spare time..Version: 3.5.26

Great but slightly overpricedThe quality of summaries as well as the visualizations are amazing. But due to its current limited library (Sep ‘23), $20 per month is slightly expensive..Version: 4.2.6

Charged doubleI was charged $51 CAD for a $19.99 monthly subscription purchase.. what’s going on here?.Version: 4.0.7

Why not a dual subscription or family subscription?Hi there, I really love this app! Is a great idea and I would love to purchase the subscription even without the free trial but I’ve found it a bit too expensive, like Spotify does would be really nice to have a dual or family membership. People that live alone have little money to spend and this could be a great idea to incentivise the subscriptions..Version: 3.5.33

Informative and funGrowing up I used to love reading books but as I grew older I’ve noticed I struggle to read a single page of a book. I’ve tried audiobooks but even that failed because it would keep playing in the background and I’d get lost in my head. Imprint keeps it precise and informative. There also small quizzes at the end of a chapter so you can test your knowledge. It’s def worth the price for me..Version: 4.4.3

So Far, Excellent!I’m new to this but what a fabulous idea! I’ve just started Lucid and I’m loving it so far. I’d enjoy a few little videos too - but not too many as I feel it’s important to try and stay focused on reading as these days life is one big distraction and it’s important to learn to focus and stay focused on reading as it helps in so many ways. BUT a few educational, short videos would be great. But this is a really great app. I LOVE the chapter reviews where you get to choose an answer to a hidden word as that really helps cement what I’ve learned. And the chapters are such a fun, bite sized size that they’re super easy to read. Really great!!!.Version: 3.5.6

Huge fan - for readers who don’t always rememberI love reading and learning. I’m the type to highlight everything I find interesting so I can remember...but still struggle to remember all the valuable information I read. Lucid is SUCH a brilliant app - helps you spend time on key book concepts in a visual way, so you have more chances of remembering what you learn. There’s also a quick interactive recap / quiz at the end to train your brain and avoid just a passive experience. It made me realize that the key to memory is taking a more active role in your intellectual consumption. Lucid does just that. Thank you, this app seems to be the answer to one of my biggest needs 🙏🙏🙏 Grateful!! Ps. Also UX/UI and graphics are super slick. Hope the team can sustain the production long term!.Version: 3.0.3

All visual learners out there…If you’re anything like me, traditional reading and memorization methods just don’t click with your brain. I only realized later in life that I’m a visual learner. Enter Imprint… This app is truly remarkable. Despite hesitating due to the price, I took the plunge after reading numerous reviews and seeking advice. Imprint tailors a plan for you based on simple questions about your interests and goals. It’s astounding how much material it can pack into a short 5-minute session. What’s even cooler is that you don’t fully grasp how much you’ve learned until after completing a chapter. I highly recommend Imprint for anyone struggling to retain information from reading. It has completely revolutionized my learning experience..Version: 4.5.1

Love the appNever written a review but I just had to say how much I like this app. Originally had the free trial and forgot to cancel but actually thankful that I did and now have premium. Before imprint, I found myself scrolling on social media way too much and was frustrated that I have such little attention span to learn. So I set a timer on the app and now use the urge to scroll for imprint! This has been such a nice little stepping stone to building healthier habits. It’s not intimidating as I usually get starting big books so I think this will help me narrow down on subjects I want to learn more about!! I really do enjoy the visuals and summaries and hoping there will be a lot more! Def worth the money..Version: 4.0.7

Digital BrillianceI have seen this app for a while but I finally downloaded it days ago. It is definitely one of the best apps I've seen in terms of UI and content. My memory and comprehension abilities have quickly become augmented via this app. The daily quiz ensures that I'm actually learning and understanding what I'm reading, thanks to the utilization of beautiful visuals to enhance the content extracted from various books or courses. However, the monthly membership is pricey! If you can't afford the yearly membership of $99, you'll end up paying much more on a monthly subscription. Thus I purchased a yearly membership. So far, no regrets!.Version: 3.5.39

Good use of phone timeThis app for me has been incredibly helpful to understand my ADHD and problems with attention, however, I feel that would make this app complete for me as if there was an immersive reader for the slides. It would be nice to have the slides read to you as some days it can be hard to sit down and read, and sometimes you just want the knowledge..Version: 4.1.9

Wonderful appI do find it somewhat too expensive but there’s no denying that they have done a fantastic job summarizing these books etc. and I use it almost every day. I feel like I’ve learnt an absolute ton from what I’ve read - big thanks to the team behind this. Suggestion for improvement: build in a calendar where you can see on which days you completely your daily goal. I find that the streak widget is not quite enough/doesn’t hold me accountable enough to complete my daily goal..Version: 4.0.7

Investing in yourselvesThis is great app. It can’t be easier to read and remember a book. Absolutely worth it ! Thanks developer team 🍻🍻🍻🍻.Version: 3.4.15

Love it! Thank you developers 🫂I have always said that if I could work learning an be paid for it, I would probably do it as a job. I literally love learning new things, especially when it is so easy to do it. I love this App, and I think it’ll be a revolutionary learning platform. It is easy, fast and has tons of information. I love it! I suggest this app to everyone who’s searching for something intuitive to use before to go to sleep or in the free time, and to whoever loves to learn and whoever is curious about everything!.Version: 3.5.7

👌🏽It’s a cool app. Enjoyed using it..Version: 4.1.12

Great concept, but still needs some workLucid is honestly an outstanding concept. I sampled books I had previously read and some that I hadn't. The explanations are simple (maybe overly simplified), and many visuals are stunning. I even enjoyed the end-of-section quiz. The biggest issue with this app is the limited breadth of titles. Many of the books fall into the self-improvement and business genres. After a while, the theme becomes repetitive. It just wasn't for me, but I do highly recommend it to others. I will undoubtedly revisit this app in the future..Version: 3.5.26

The essence of a book for really busy peopleI know everyone is busy and there is lots of enjoyment in reading a full book. However, I am really appreciative of this app that summarises the essential for me to grasp, regardless of the topic. It has a gamified aspect to achieve your daily reading/learning goal. That makes me want to do more when I actually use it (almost daily). Also, very enticing using animations..Version: 3.5.34

Brilliant app for people that struggle to read booksFor a long time I’ve been struggling to read books because of my attention span which would lead to a lot of frustration with myself. This app has been absolutely brilliant in the way it delivers different topics. It’s illustrated and each page is a very few sentences short so my mind doesn’t wander off. I genuinely think the price is worth to pay as it’s an investment in your knowledge and they really cover a good range of very interesting topics. Definitely recommend it.Version: 3.5.32

Worried about the costI just downloaded the free trial and I’m nervous I will forget to cancel it and then stop using it after a while like I usually do with things like this. So far the app is incredible. Visually appealing, easy to digest, quizzes to confirm you digested the information. I want to keep using this, $100 is a lot for an app and also it’s a very intricate app with many developers who deserve to be paid for their work. If only wages kept up with inflation these decisions wouldn’t be so hard and people could actually get better by using these apps!!.Version: 4.1.20

Too expansiveGreat content but just too crazy in pricing.Version: 3.4.2

Great app just over pricedBeen on the free trial for a couple days and have learned more about topics that i have been researching for weeks now. There is just not enough about specific topics to make it worth 130$ a year.Version: 4.0.13

Education on the goThe perfect app to open when you want to entertain yourself, but need to have a break from the negativity of the news and social media. It’s helped me to say goodbye to “doom scrolling” and instead educate myself with incredibly easy written chapters of books I’d never thought to read!.Version: 4.0.7

Often buggy and frozen, but nice when it worksI would be tolerant of some bugs in a free app, but I’m paying for the subscription and haven’t been able to use the app in a couple days because it’s frozen when I open it. Prior to this, the daily quiz doesn’t always appear and there isn’t a good way to find it in the app. Often, to keep reading a book I started, I have to dig back through my library to find it, because it disappears from the home page. Many of the book contents are nice ways to get the gist of the idea - kind of like watching a 20 minute synopsis presentation of the book. Lots of popular nonfiction books available. They don’t cover all of the key takeaways you would get if you read the actual book, but if you’re interested there’s a link to the full book at the end of each one in the app..Version: 3.5.25

Brilliant app - so glad I found itHonestly - this is instagram but genuinely educational and so much fun. The animations are great - keeps my ADHD brain actually focussed and I’m learning stuff every day when I’m on the bus or train instead of mindlessly scrolling. Thanks!!.Version: 3.5.34

Really useful appI love their visuals and very wide range of topics they have..Version: 4.0.0

The app's features are top-notch.Imprint is a game-changing mobile app that totally blew me away with its sleek design and super-easy-to-use interface..Version: 4.5.11

Enjoyable way to learnI appreciate the graphic style and effort that has gone into illustrating the points. Understanding the labour that goes into this I think the app is good value. I caught up with the whole of the Roman Empire while lazing in bed. I personally would prefer a small monthly fee than the annual charge. Due to cut backs I’m making annual upfront doesn’t align with my goal setting..Version: 4.5.0

Great app, quite expensive for the library availableA great app so far, with clear and visual explanations for a range of topics. However, the library is limited and for the price, I would expect much larger library..Version: 4.0.2

Great Option Learning if you have ADHDBeautiful illustrations to often explain complex concepts and theories of a large number of subjects and topics. To help readers retain their knowledge the daily quiz is a great way to help them..Version: 4.1.6

Wonderful for visual personIt is great for visual person like me but subscription model is not acceptable for me it should be like: buy any item on-off and for life time, if so I would have bought many titles..Version: 4.3.1

Imprint is it what it says it is ……..?I am enjoying this app in conjunction with reframe app . Well I found they work well together- I am not giving drinks up I am just trying to find a better balance and enjoy a healthier lifestyle which includes mindfulness and learning exercises to not waste time. Highly recommend this App !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 4.1.16

I love you LucidI don’t read because I’m always too indesicive: what to buy, what to invest time in etc. - Lucid fixes this, it allows you to genuinely take away the key concepts and then research independently so that your knowledge is never out of datw.Version: 3.5.3

Absolutely Life-ChangingImprint is a wonderful app and probably one of the best apps I’ve ever installed. Especially the self-improvement ones, the first two I read (about anxiety and productivity) were AMAZING and the app is already proving itself 5-star worthy. Highly recommend to anyone, as it is already improving my daily lifestyle and the way I look at the world. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL..Version: 4.0.13

Really good but a couple of improvementsThis app is amazing. It has paths for every single skill a person wants to excel in. Mental health, business, organization, whatever you need, this all probably has it. Plus the lessons are not only bit-sized and digestible, they come packed with fun little illustrations to keep you engaged. This app is amazing. A couple of issues though. One, the prices are REALLY high. I know there’s a lot of content, but it is like really high. Me personally though, I consider it worth the purchase. Secondly, I think it would be good if the developers added a “night mode.” I usually use this app at night, and the white glare really hurts my eyes. So I think it would be good if they added a night mode that could allow the user to change it from day to night manually or have it operate on a sunrise/sunset timer. Other than those two things, I love this app. Totally worth it..Version: 4.1.10

Good but needs more pricing optionsA really cool app - it distills complex or long topics effectively and interestingly. Everything works well and is stunningly beautiful. I just wish you had different subscription options: I am a broke university student so different tiers (I.e, a blend of paid and ads) could help more consumers like me!.Version: 3.5.32

WowLike blink it’s meets Robert munch..Version: 4.1.2

Please add landscape mode support for iPad.I am using 12.9 in iPad and it is difficult to work read with a large device with one hand use. Stage manager makes it possible with landscape but it barely takes the screen. Support for landscape will further enhance my experience as I often use my iPad with Magic Keyboard..Version: 4.2.4

Absolute genius! This app is incredible! Amazing idea! So useful for people with short span attention! So engaging with amazing graphics and so on point! The concept comes across in a flowing and subtle way and yet it just sticks! With very little effort on the eye as it is so mentally engaging! So good I didn’t even know I needed it! But oh my I do need it! Now I know it, I will not be able to do without! Just huge thank you to the creators of such gem!🙏.Version: 3.4.29

I’m hookedA very smart, useful and easy to use app..Version: 4.0.5

Imprint is not working on my iPhoneHi I just updated the app and it is not working on my iPhone. I have reinstalled and restarted my iPhone but no luck. How I can get support?.Version: 4.1.6

Quiz suggestionsLove your app! Yet the quizzes are quite short and generally limited at the moment. Would be great if you could (1) introduce an option to individually adjust quizzes (make them longer, also be able to take a number of quizzes during the day instead of just one), (2) introduce theme-specific or even book-specific quizzes. Thank you Lucid Team!.Version: 3.5.26

Great AppTo be honest, I’m quite fond of Imprint, but I have to say I’ve never been fond of apps that let you sign up and THEN ask for money. Just make the app purchased upfront or subscriptive at the same time as signup. It’s not that it’s completely unaffordable, but at the price it’s asking, there should be some sort of free option or something. What I’m saying is most people won’t choose this over Netflix, and subscriptions add up. That’s just my opinion. The app itself is phenomenal. Now that I’ve paid for it, I will probably continue to pay for it, but I can see how that price point may be a challenge for some people. All in all, I’m maintaining a 5-star rating of it due to the value of the application itself. I hope the developers—who probably know much more about their own finances than I ever could—will find enough success to consider a more accessible price moving forward..Version: 4.4.2

Content is greatApp is great and content is amazing. Perfect as a quick read instead of whole book. Though admittedly initial subsription is sneaky and you need to be careful if you do want monthly and not yearly subsription, all the bad ratings are because od the sneaky subsription system.Version: 3.5.32

Thank youMany appreciation for the artists for their creativity in development of this app. the new way of learning.Version: 3.4.22

Effortless learningI aspire to learn more about different topics and in my life I have spent a lot of money on books that I’ve struggled to invest time in reading. Lucid’s graphics and simple user interface makes it feel effortless..Version: 4.4.1

Great App! Streaks are demotivatingI personally find the streaks a little disappointing because daily is really hard. But even showing it in a 2D calendar view like github/duolingo would give me so much more motivation and discipline! It actually hurts to be forcefully reminded that I’m on day one. That’s my most difficult obstacle with using the app. Please stop calling it day especially if we’ve been putting in work semi-daily, weekly, etc. Otherwise, I love the animations, cards, save feature, chapters, etc. Amazing app, but no evidence of progress unless I do it EVERY DAY? I’m gonna miss a few days, but having it show that I’ve done it for 10 days in the last month? That’d be so much better for discipline/motivation than ONLY the disheartening 💔 reset to day 1 streak reminder every day or two..Version: 4.2.9

Simply brilliantThis hits so well, I’ve signed up to blinkist as well as readingraphics.com and Lucid is just so much more engaging. It’s dopamine like tapping through social media, except it’s actually productive, I’m just dying for even more variety of books!.Version: 3.4.22

Excellent content but can use UI/ UX improvementsThank you team for putting together this wonderful nuggets of lessons and learnings. You have truly made consuming this content fun and more likely for my memory to retain. I wish to see the following UX improvements if you can: 1. Responsiveness of the app to iPad landscape mode - Why? There is a segment of people who like to read information/ books like how they read a regular book. Also deciding weather to hold the iPad vertically or horizontally is the first decision a user makes and it’s important to not make them revise their decision because the app is not responsive. 2. Ability to save the nuggets offline- I often read when I’m in the plane (like many) when there is no network. It is disappointing that lucid doesn’t download the whole nugget so it’s a wasted opportunity when you can gain some “hrs” from the user on your app 3. Getting to know the person who summarized/ visualized the key ideas- A little intro about the person and the ability to thank them for putting together a wonderful nugget will go a long way in keeping the user value each nugget more and your team appreciated..Version: 3.5.21

Definitely worth a try!Lucid is really good, I haven’t seen any other app like it. I like the fact that you get clear and short resume of sometimes complex topics from a large variety of books. The design is really cool, great UI/UX, as a developer I can’t tell how impressed I am by this app! The only downside for me will be the price, a monthly suscription will cost you £11..Version: 3.4.19

Learning made easyThis is hands down the best app I’ve ever bought. This is also the first time I’ve written a review but this app simplifies complicated ideas so you can understand them quickly, very handy if your a busy person. Much appreciated..Version: 3.4.29

Great way to learn with todays distractionsSimple and convenient. Choose your learning path and start right away. I stopped reading after a year of consistent growth and this is a really really cool way to get back into it..Version: 4.1.21

So far I like this appI downloaded the free trial and I’ve already skimmed three books. I love it for that! I hope more material is constantly uploaded as the other reviews seem to indicate content is limited…I also wish the app developers would address the one star reviews as it’s unprofessional to not reply. I don’t mind the price personally. If there is lots of content on the app (at least a years worth) than it’s worth it..Version: 3.5.18

Left an imprintThank you for providing such a fantastic resource, this has been a brilliant spark for deep learning of the important understandings, plenty of easy to comprehend tidbits of information that I’m able to take in even on One of the main aspects that kept coming back to this app was the upholding of the streak, however, if I break the streak, it would cause me to be repulsed by the app for about a week, is there anyway for you to implement streak freezes? The Library is as extensive as it is fascinating, however, I’m nearing end of it, any chance you could provide a ‘read again’ list as I’ve likely forgotten a decent amount of info (which would be more my fault than yours) Thanks again for a brilliant app!.Version: 4.5.8

Great for a neurodivergent mind!I am loving imprint because I am learning and retaining information and insights without the overwhelm and shame of many unfinished books! The visuals are simple and balanced with the amount of text on a page. Being able to save key points is valuable to me..Version: 4.1.9

Great way to learn fast and retain knowledgeIf you haven’t got time or the inclination to read book after book but still want to learn, this is the app for you. Books are summarised to the main concepts and presented with visual cards for each concept which is ideal for visual learning. The quiz feature is very good for helping to retain the learning..Version: 3.5.42

Fantastic App for Readers, but some minor UI problemsI love the app and I’m hoping for more titles to be added soon. This would be a 5 star if they incorporated two things: 1. Make it easier for the fingers to not have to travel so much, I use this on an iPad and I want to keep my hand in one spot while learning. 2. Dark mode. Looking forward to more features!.Version: 4.2.9

Great AppFantastic app. Now I just need to work out how to pay for it!.Version: 3.4.16

Not awful I supposeI feel like information was dumbed down to the point that it was either almost incorrect or actually hard to understand. I "read" the first chapter of 3 books and noted that this wasn't for me but, for those with minimal knowledge on said subjects, it might be a useful tool. I'm used to reading textbooks and sifting through tough material so it could just be I'm not used to this kind of setup. I was hoping that it'd be more in depth. However if you have limited background, say for example you're a business person reading the book - astrophysics in a hurry, it might be useful to you in a beginner level. Not really recommended for intermediate+, like say a business person wanting to further knowledge in anything about business..Version: 3.4.13

Help PerspectiveI'm not a social media junkie but in todays world yes we need some of the technologies to do our jobs keep up with loved ones etc. But the simple fact is it was called the Boob tube as far back as I can remember! Now we have a Boobtube on our wrists on our computers we literally have these walking talking devices that can go everywhere. We rob ourselves of the simple things n life like nature, being in it, listening to the birds. This is a perfect way to learn different interests and get something back from your time on whatever device your on. I always have said that education is our most powerful tool, any day I can learn something new even a new word of the day is a good day! Being a nurse I know the capabilities our brains can accomplish and it's so far more powerful but we don't even use a fraction of it. I say well if God gave it to me I should use it like it's any other part of my body, stretch it expand it this app does just that !.Version: 3.5.39

Dark mode would be greatly appreciatedVery well made app! Only suggestion I would make is an option for dark mode. I tend to read at the end of the day, and as such am usually trying to minimize bright screen light. Granted, I imagine this has come up and dark mode wouldn’t be easy to implement and maintain (since this app has many graphics), but it could be worthwhile based on the potential gain in customer satisfaction. Even if the graphics need to be surrounded by white still, some dark mode would be better than none in my opinion. Overall though, very pleased!.Version: 4.1.3

Very goodVery interesting. I’m a visual learner. Also like how the book is condensed to key points and concepts..Version: 4.1.16

Someone said it’s like finding gold and they are rightI’ve used a few apps like Imprint in the past but they do it better than all the rest.Version: 4.5.4

SUGGESTIONI am never writing any reviews but let me say this, this app is AWESOME & helps a lot! Let me suggest you one thing and I hope you’ll read this, instead of clicking or even swiping to the right for the next page you should take advantage of the psychology behind swiping up and down. If you would use swiping up & down for the next page I guarantee you people will stay longer on the app. We are so conditioned and used to swiping up and down that clicking right and left almost feels like work 🙌.Version: 3.5.32

Adore this app!Cannot recommend this app enough but I do have an issue. Every time I finish a “chapter” and try to continue, the continue button doesn’t work so I have to exit the app completely and then reopen it and I think it meant I didn’t get one of my badges..Version: 4.3.2

So useful and interestingIf you are the person who loves books but thinks that mostly they take waaay tooo long to read, there we are! The key points from the books in short version 🥰😻🤩I am amazed by it! Awesome! Thanks for this wonderful app!.Version: 3.5.15

Praise & FeedbackPraise: Thank you for summarizing great books in such informative ways! Looking forward to using this app more. Feedback: From a psychological standpoint, if you enable the feature of an reward effect when finishing a chapter, and even greater reward for finishing a book (think confetti & moving the book to the finished section in your library with flashy excitement and accomplishment) you will encourage people to keep going because they want that feeling of accomplishment. Anyway, good stuff, thought the feedback might be easy to implement and possible effective. Keep up the good work!.Version: 3.5.36

Best app for reading/learningOne of the best apps I’ve downloaded, the structure is so good and the visual helps you remember more from the book. Read a few books here and some wanted to have the hard copy - upon trying to read it … it’s so hard to read the hard copy compared to the same book on this app. Really love it and grateful for the team that build it and keep improving the app 🥳🥳🥳.Version: 3.4.26

Incredible!!Do yourself a favor and download this app - seriously! While the subscription is pricey (currently $99 annual or $15 monthly), it's absolutely worth it. With ADHD, learning is incredibly difficult. I love trying new ways to learn, and have never had as much success as I have with this app. And it was immediate success!! Its very engaging and the topics are interesting and valuable. One of my favorite parts is that it has accountability built in that will ACTUALLY WORK. You can sign up for courses (mine is 15 min a day for 7 days) and you have to schedule a time do it a day in advance and can auto add to your calendar. If you miss your scheduled time, you lose access to the course and get locked out. The only way back in is to contact the app support team. Talk about motivation!!! No more pushing learning on the back burner because I feel too busy when the reminder pops up - I love it!!.Version: 4.1.4

The good side of technology!Used this app for 10 mins and I already love it. Honestly it’s just what I wanted, I’m always eager to learn new things and self improve. This app provides this perfectly on the go or at home with simple yet meaningful pages and chapters suited to the subject you wish to read on about. Great replacement to scrolling your social media pages 100 times a day for no reason. I recommend you at least try it to see for yourself..Version: 3.5.32

Great content, optimal formatWhile the app is really expensive, Crave TV costs the same amount. So I took the free trial and ended up canceling crave and keeping this. So before vetoing the app off the price alone, give it a go for free first and see what’s more worth it in your subscriptions. Really recommend..Version: 4.4.3

Best Micro Learning AppI have tried a few, but this one offers the most engaging micro learning experience I have tried. Better than Blinkist and Headway..Version: 4.4.2

It works because it’s simple! The summaries are good and the app design supports learning key concepts quickly. (For example, you have to tap to move forward in the summary so you can’t just hit “play” and tune out.) I save key concepts as I go so I can scroll back and reinforce the points that stood out to me in each reading. This is great if you’re a content writer, like me, who wants to catalogue references to popular books or statistics from psychological studies. I also found that going through the Imprint visual summary of a full audiobook I was listening to (Atlas of the Heart by Brene Brown) really helped me retain more information from the book..Version: 4.5.11

Japanese LifestyleThe Japanese lifestyle will keep you alive a lot longer and have less. We are in tear on your body and it keeps you stress-free and away from distractions and I am learning so much so quickly that I’m finally starting to learn the app and not have to use all the things I was copying and forwarding to myself through text messages. I assume that you guys are storing everything in my photos google photos I love this way of learning and I am so happy that you guys took me on because I need to change my lifestyle and I need to do it now and every single day! Thank you so much, James Pendrick for having faith in me..Version: 4.0.7

Readers digest on steroidsA little like reader’s digest in some respects… some subjects feel like just hitting the high points. For the deep and complex subjects it was great though. I was able to see these high points through a lot of the (previously experienced) noise and go back to the subjects to dive a little deeper. All in all, great. Concise, compact, time efficient and effective was of learning especially for visual learners. I rate it..Version: 3.4.26

I love it but it’s too expensiveI love it but the two only subscription options are both too expensive!!! Please make it cheaper 🥺.Version: 3.4.24

… All I can say is: WOW!I’m trying the 7 day free trial and I am blown away so far. SO ENGAGING! I’ve always been the type that learned better with visuals and short bursts of useful information. This nails it!!! My favorite part? I’ll be reading something awesome and I think… gee this would really help this person in my life… AND THEN IT LETS ME SHARE WHAT IM READING WITH SOMEONE EVEN IF THEY DONT HAVE TO APP!!! Literally - SO COOL! Huge fan so far! Keep it up you guys! Add the 10X Rule by Grant Cardone as soon as you can please! Rich dad Poor dad by Robert kiosaki would be good, and The One Thing by Gary Keller!! My only complaint would be the emphasis on social issues and topics that seem to be found in here… can we keep it to the greatest books and ideas of all time please? Let’s keep politics and social issues out of it!!!.Version: 3.4.5

👍🏻Awesome costumer service!.Version: 4.4.5

Barrier to consumerI work for an Sm and app company (meta) and baffles me is how you create barrier for entry that should not be there, with the huge questionnaire that I imagine that the majority of analytics prove that most people quit before the registration period even finishes. I’m looking at potential alternative opportunities, if the right position comes along, please get in touch if you require more advice Thank you, Robbie Beeson.Version: 4.3.1

What an amazing app!I haven’t rated an app in my life but wow this app is really amazing. Absolutely love the visual, engaging design and the clear and smooth explanations to pretty much any topic. It’s so good that there are no adverts at all so it makes it so much easier to avoid being distracted and stay engaged in the articles/books. I’ll definitely pay for the premium after the free trial..Version: 3.5.11

Great App for quick readsI often don’t get time to read through a lot of books and even if you have time you may not be able to read as many books as this app allows you to, quickly. Certainly it’s obvious that summarisation does lead some content loss but that’s fine. Plus the content is nicely presented as pictures. So it’s much easier to scroll through. Much better utilisation of time compared to wasting time on Instagram. Only reason I gave it 4 star is because of the high monthly cost. If they reduce it that will be great..Version: 3.4.7

Super ImpressedI’m super impressed and grateful for such a wonderful app ! Condenses information in a visual manner, super easy to understand. This app is shifting the education game. Super happy Thank You Lucid !.Version: 3.4.25

The best quick way of learning new topicsI’ve always struggled with reading books, and sometimes even listening to audiobooks for two reasons. They are time consuming, and it’s hard to retain information and recognize what’s relevant to you and what isn’t. Imprint changed all that for me. A quick 10 minute read every day adds valuable information to my fund of knowledge. The visual presentation makes it really easy to understand and remember. If I want to learn more about the topic, I can buy the book..Version: 4.1.2

Great app and now with iPad supportApp is regularly updated and has interesting, well presented content. Only reason not 5 star is that reading progress doesn’t sync between devices consistently. I love reading on my iPad mini at home and then picking up on my iPhone when travelling, but it doesn’t seem to sync between devices. Meaning I have two lists of books I’ve read and two different lists of saved pages, one on each device. For the price you’d think a simple feature like this that so many apps have, would be included. Adding iPad support now is great, thanks for the update!.Version: 3.5.0

Saving me!So i recently have joined the Army. I’m under a ton of stress. My boyfriend passed away about 2 weeks ago. I’m struggling a lot and i don’t like to ask for help. This app has really helped me gather my thoughts and ground me back to my body and mind. I have a new perspective on how I want to live my life and move forward…live in the moment. Thank you to the creators for providing such a great tool with wonderful views and studies on so many helpful topics. I hold this app dearly to me. It helps me a lot at night when I’m tossing and turning in my thoughts. I left a comment if you could add some topics on grief and loss It would really mean a lot to me as well as others. Keep up the good work with this app :).Version: 4.1.3

Alternative to wasting time on social mediaIf you adopt this in your free time rather than flicking through the news or social media. Your knowledge base will increase massively. Information is presented in a fantastic way and the retention is easy. First review I’ve written - but this app is fantastic.Version: 3.5.1

My App of the year along with TidalA brilliant way of ingesting books in a visual form so they concepts stick. I’m sick of reading 400 pages books that could’ve been written in 80 pages but the author had to plump it out for the publisher. Allows me to get the most from an author in 30 mins. I love it..Version: 3.4.3

Great for curious learners with visual memoriesI like to read a lot but usually forget most of it, which makes me feel like I've wasted my team reading it. I also feel like books often go at length about less useful topics. This books solves all of this by focusing on key concepts and helping me memorize better with visuals and the ability to save concepts I like. Done in a way that makes it easy to consume, so better time spent than instagram. Would strongly recommend!.Version: 3.4.8

So far so goodNot sure if I want to pay £70 though may cancel after my trial seeing what books are available. So far read 2 books in 30 mins 🤷🏻‍♀️.Version: 3.4.24

Navigate to the PointQuick and easy to learn key points. Most Books are written in ways that are structured with an array of examples that aim to guide readers to the point of a chapters. However, after reading my first chapter with the app, I realized that books are not interactive and that the interpretation of a chapter does not immediate have feedback as the app does. "In real life" we only have a feedback from what we read in three ways: talking an exam, in group studies, and or while in class discussing the chapter while in class. This method of reading is highly efficient. J.Iglesias, M.P.A..Version: 3.4.34

A wonderful alternative to the “mindless scroll”I am not a fan of any apps except this one, really. When I became depressed last year my first change was to remove social media from my phone and it was a game changer. Screen addiction haunts us all, though, and after a long day we all need some time to unwind. This app allows me to do just that and simultaneously fly through books I wouldn’t have the time or energy to read in their entirety. Instead of feeling crappy about my hour of phone time before bed I actually feel really good about it! I am thrilled these developers put such time and intentionality into solving a very real problem in modern society. I will recommend this to everyone I know!.Version: 3.4.26

Best app everIt is so beneficial to society it’s not even funny, we can grow so much intellectually and so much faster if this app was widely advertised and used among more people! I swear I have never given an app more respect and dedication and I actually set aside time to use this app daily and I have never done that with an app before. I promise it is worth every 100$! Think about how cheap that is relative to what your begging for it?!? It’s insane! Hundreds (I think it is thousands actually but j incase I’m like 50/50 on which one it is) but hundreds to thousands of books that are easily understood I think a 13 year old would get how they explain some of these text. It is so awesome and so worth it!.Version: 3.4.15

Great app - would be brilliant with a few tweaksI love this app and have learnt a lot since I have started using it. It’s great to dip into a topic and decide if it is something you’d like to read into further. However it would be great if there were in app downloads so I could read chapters/ books offline.Version: 4.0.7

Helpful customer serviceWhile I don’t use the app, the customer service team was really helpful when I accidentally purchased a one year subscription. Jeff really helped put my mind at ease. 👍🏼.Version: 3.2.9

The app of the yearThis app is without a doubt great in every aspect. The ux is perfect...Version: 3.1.9

Overview of the app and contentA great app that allows to consume content. Think Blinkist meets headway. Not really an audible solution though as not enough detail but sufficient links to them.Version: 4.0.4

Need landscape modeThis is great reading app but would be nice to have a landscape mode setting.Version: 4.1.20

Captivating!Extremely magnetic !.Version: 4.1.12

Excellent appI only gave it 4 stars because it’s too expensive. It’s so incredible that I’m sure if you made it more affordable you could actually make more money as so many people would consider getting it. It has the same dopamine release and short-form info reception as something like TikTok, and yet rather than being detrimental to human development it encourages incredible growth! Whomever made this app deserves the world, this is truly epic. If you made this cheaper, so that everyone could download it, you could LITERALLY change the world. We’d have a whole generation of people who are educated rather than people who only know how to follow trends..Version: 4.0.2

Spot on! Thanks!!!I have not even started and I would like to thank you for even thinking of idea an creating it!!! Amazing. I am diving straight in, you make people’s life better. I am sure I will come back to rave review it after I used it..Version: 3.4.16

Amazing App but overpricedWhile the idea and execution is great the expensive pricing model and limited library needs work..Version: 2.7.3

Fantastic app with a great designI have a very short attention span, this app conveys learning in a way that keeps me engaged and curious to continue reading. Highly recommend!!.Version: 3.5.41

I love to spend time on this app. This app and the subscription have been very worth it. I love to learn new things, and this app has made it very easy and practical to do so. Since I love to spend time on this app, here are a few things I’d love to see added that would make me spend even more time on here. One, some sort of analytics page that shows daily time spent learning, quizzes completed, weekly/monthly/yearly progression; analytics that would make me feel good about and give me a motivating visual for completing/learning more! Two, more quizzes! I love to be able to complete more quizzes/recap questions so I can ensure the consolidation of what I read. Quizzes for specific topics/genres. Quizzes of different lengths. Or even a system where the user can create their own quiz by choosing how many questions, what genres/books, etc. Three, more general customization. I’d love an option to change the background of the app. I’d say just giving the UI of the app the polish up it deserves. Thanks!.Version: 4.5.8

Nice AppJust way too steep for pricing. Cannot justifying that per month…..Version: 4.2.8

A small change that might have a huge impact on productHi team. Thanks for this lovely app. I was enjoying it for sometime. Learned a lot and love it. It is my new everyday app. However, I realised that I am only focusing on the text part of the slides and ignoring most of the drawings below the text (no matter how creative, aesthetic or joyful) I wondered why than I think I might found something interesting. Let’s put in this way; Every slide has a message to deliver. Text does that mission with words. And images underneath does it very good with graphics. But the problem was the text and image were not sharing the messages different parts, instead they are trying to deliver same message with words and graphical ways. What if they could share the message that slide needs to deliver and it would not be so easy to get that message if you remove text or illustrations from that slides. So they can duet and deliver one single message together but almost nonsense when they observed separately. Just a thought. Love it so much anyway.Version: 4.0.13

On my wayToday I begin a journey to not only enhance areas of my mind which may have become acclimated to neglect, but also explore entirely new areas and develop more of a healthier and seemingly stronger thought process that expectedly will excell my minds progression and capabilities allowing me to expand and unroll to friends and family in hopes of improving as many mind while advancing the quality of life they’re used to experiencing!!!!! —THANKS! Pretty fun too!! Too bad I didn’t have the same rush I am getting now when I was 16-18 years old !!! But better late than never!! I don’t wanna win any race I’m just aiming to participate!!.Version: 4.2.6

My favorite appI never write reviews, but I just had to come on here and rave about Lucid. I love learning, I’m a creative and very visual person, and also I have ADHD. Lucid is an absolute dream. Lucid communicates such digestible and enjoyable content, I have to remind myself to slow down and let the information I just learned sink in and process before moving onto a new subject! From practical learning to philosophical and everything in between, I absolutely love learning with Lucid. I have already started taking some of what I’ve learned and incorporated it into my work every day and wow, I just can’t say enough good things about this app. If you love learning and have very diverse interests but never enough time to learn about all of them, this is the perfect app for you. Also premium is worth the money if you can swing it. It’s the best subscription I’m paying for right now..Version: 3.5.16

Worth every pennyI took a risk and subscribed and im using this app more than any other. Makes me look forward to my day and excited for my next read Excellent book selections , very well designed. Top marks..Version: 4.1.4

PriceIf people are willing to pay for this then keep your prices the same, honestly I think you’d have a higher return on investment by lowering subscription costs and having a larger customer base..Version: 4.2.4

Great app, needs dark modeLucid is great for quickly learning about a lot of things and reading books I’ve always wanted to read. However the white screens could be straining on the eyes and a dark mode would help readers use it for longer👍🏼.Version: 3.4.18

Very Pleasantly SurprisedI’m one of those “I never write a review” folks. Also, for years have rejected summary / idea distillation platforms out of hand because I had seen them dumb down critical information in ways that are not productive. Lucid, IMO, is a game changer in this regard. Thoughtful graphics and focus on discrete (but very clearly connected) ideas makes it a compelling way to both learn new ideas and also decide if you want to invest precious time in a book. The psychology of focusing on discrete information blocks is well known and the app creators/ product team / devs / everyone else involved has 100% killed it. Best App Store money I’ve spent in a very long time!.Version: 2.7.0
