In this turn-based strategy game based on A Song of Ice and Fire novel series by G.R.R Martin, experience the wars and intrigues of Westeros by playing as one of the 6 Great Houses. In A Game of Thrones: The Board Game – Digital Edition, the ambitious Lannisters, the stalwart Starks, the cunning Martells and other Houses are struggling to seize the crown. ✓ Fantastic with FriendsI played the board game with a group of 4 and now we play regularly as a group of 6 using this digital version. Love the game and this is a great adaptation which captures everything from the board game. I’d recommend if you have a few friends keen to try something new and want something to fuel the brain with something strategic for a few hours every week. There are some game breaking bugs which I suspect are either due to the new expansion or the link from IOS to other platforms but I have faith these will be ironed out in the near future. I played the Steam version on a Mac from launch and this initially had some game-breaking bugs but fixes were quickly introduced..Version: 0.9.4

✗ Just avoid itMy friends and I live the original and we’re very excited to give this a shot. We attempted 3 Asynchronous games, one with just the five of us and two games with a bot to fill out the 6 houses. We couldn’t finish any of them. Eventually it bugs out so bad that we all get kicked from the game. We get to turn 2-3 and that’s as far as it goes. Maybe someday this game will work, but for now it’s not even worth a free version, least of all dumping $10 on a game that apparently never went through any type of QA testing. If I thought I could get a refund I’d ask..Version: 0.9.4
✗ Neat game, needs some bug fixesThis is a fun game and a good adaptation. However, I’ve run into a few too many game breaking bugs to recommend it right now. The AI frequently freezes permanently, and the game doesn’t seem to tally up combat totals correctly. I’ve lost several combats where I had a significant final strength advantage and the AI doesn’t play a leader card. Should be worth another look after a patch..Version: 0.9.4
