✓ A good game for basketball lovers.This game has reals rules and techniques that basketball actually has like shot clock, passing, dunking, stepping, and more. In the game, you can edit and make your own league and have your own players! But I can get them on one thing that you might not have thought about, Camera angles. I get a bit confused when someone rebounds or dunks. They should have camera angles because the regular camera angle confuses me but the game still should get 5 starts. ✓ Best $3 I’ve ever spentI downloaded this game in April ‘20 after seeing an Instagram ad for it multiple times. I later bought premium for the extra save slots. Since then, I’ve spent thousands of hours playing and simulating games, and have gotten involved in the online communities, which are very friendly and in depth. In terms of actual game content, it’s fantastic— it works as a simulator as much as it does as a play-through game, and its concept of turn based basketball is equal parts unique and engrossing. Most importantly, the dev is as active as they come, taking player feedback and answering questions and solving any problems as they arise. Whether you want to sim and watch games, or challenge yourself by playing it, it’s a fantastic game that I cannot recommend strongly enough. It is by far the best $3 I’ve ever spent..Version: 1.7.1
✓ Almost perfectThe game itself is extremely unique, as there’s no other basketball game out there with these controls. The season seems to work fine, but I feel like the “career” mode is still unfinished. You should be able to select a team and view their record, their past matches, if they’re on a winning/losing streak etc. There’s also no way to tell who won the championship from previous years, and there’s no way to tell what your stats were for your first, second, third season etc. It just compares your current season stats to your overall career stats. Such a great game, but it really does feel rushed. If you’ve played any other sport manager game on the app store, it has these features. ✓ Love this GameI have been addicted to this game ever since I got it a few weeks back. I love the franchise mode because you can actually run a team and it feels like you are in control. The only things that I don’t like is the fact that you can only make one-for-one trades and the free agents are always terrible and never change. Trading would be so much more effective if you could trade multiple players or trade draft picks. As far as the free agents go, they all remain as one stars, and there are no knee free agents that are worth buying..Version: 1.4.2
✓ Add more teams!First of all I want to say that I really like this game and I like the whole concept of it. I think that it’s great and these types of games get me addicted. One thing I would like which for me is why it isn’t a 5 star from me is that I feel like there just isn’t enough teams. ✓ Great game with fundamental flawsThe biggest flaw in the rng system here is that the game is always too easy or impossibly frustrating depending on the difficulty. In low difficulty, in an 8-minute game, I can routinely score 80+ points with over 75% shooting. It wasn’t always like this, though. So you’re meant to increase difficulty as you increase experience Unfortunately, the chance of getting your ball swiped in higher difficulties is stupid. I have a team filled with decent ball-handlers and passers, yet consistently average 20+ turnovers per season compared to 6-12 takeaways. This makes for a frustrating experience, since you can neither dribble nor pass without risk of having the ball stolen— this is true even of ‘low-risk’ passes made by good passers (7+). I do like the decreased FG% chance, as it is far more realistic. But the increased TO rate is insane and makes the game annoying to play. I have NOT checked the custom difficulty settings, and maybe you can adjust TO sliders there..Version: 1.8.5
✓ I love this gameI’ve always loved sports simulators. But basketball is by far my least favorite big sport. I’m more of a soccer/baseball guy. But this game is incredibly well done and enjoyable. It feels like xcom basketball. It’s awesome. All I can ask for is more features and development. Thank you to the developers. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this game. P. S. ✓ Coolio!!The only thing I would love to see right now is an auto sub feature so I’m gaining experience on all players when simulating games You guys fixed this super quick and I’m HYPED!! ✓ Good but needs improvementWe should be able to sub players without calling time out. You should add all star game and 3pt contest. The top 3 rookies of every draft class should be 3 star players so that they can actually take their team somewhere their first year. Lastly, we should be able to see players stats for every year they’ve played and what teams they were on. You should add coach mode because when I press “watch” to coach my team they sometimes do things on their own. Like call timeouts and sub in players that I don’t want in..Version: 1.8.5

✓ Great Game!I’m not one to write reviews, but this game deserves a 5 star rating. I love the player stats and interactions as well as the $2.99 extra perks you get. Overall amazing game. I do have one complaint. Sometimes I do not want to play a game for however long, and I pretend to be the “coach”. When I simulate games I feel like the computer is very dumb and almost always loses the game. My suggestion is that maybe you could either fix the simulating feature, or add a coaching feature in which you just manage the team. Love this game. ✓ ReviewI have been playing this amazing game for almost a week now, and might I say that I have loved it. It gives that vibe that relates to the popular basketball game nba 2k. Also, the features that come with the $2.99 package really make the game more addicting. However, my one complaint is about the career mode. The gameplay whenever you enter a game with your customized career player feels slow. It doesn’t feel like my player isn’t getting the ball as much, but I get how since they are young and not as good as the other players then they wouldn’t get the ball as much. It’s not quite great, though. The gameplay is a little bland as there is little difference between one possession and another (there is nothing that forces you out of your comfort zone and makes you improvise and change your tactics on-the-fly), and there is no interaction on defense, but the building blocks for an amazing game are there! ✓ Game is a great idea that just needs to be tweaked a littleThe game is a great concept but it took me about an hour of playing before I figured out a play for each offensive set to get my best shooters a good look. If you load up your team with 3 10 shooters you can get a 60%+ look from 3 every time and end up winning every game by a million. ✓ Great gameIt’s a great game! I love the customization. It would be great to be able to create a full roster of 10. And In season mode, I would love to be able to look at my whole teams stats on an individual page rather than ONLY being able to see the top stat producers for the league. Also, seeing the stats for the individual teams as well. Also, it seems like ppls stat averages don’t make too much since. I have a scorer that after simming only averages 6 pts but the guy that’s mostly a rebounder has a higher “star” ranking and averages 12 pts. Either way! Love the game!.Version: 1.3.0
✓ Amazing game, with only 1 issueThe game is amazing and would get 5 stars from me, however there are too many options that are locked in the base game,(in my opinion). A perfect example is that you can’t even have a 3 game playoff or increase the game time/halves to quarters. ✓ Good game, needs extra stuff to be even better.Hoop League Tactics is a good game. If you want more customization and the ability to import/export leagues, you can buy premium for $3. So far the only game modes are exhibition and season mode. I suggest that people over 30 can earn AP, but not as much as people under 30, and fouls in game, such as shooting fouls, blocking fouls, reach in fouls, etc. (Fouls would depend on the rating of steals and blocking.) One last feature that could be added is the All-Star game. But good job Koality.Version: 1.8.0

✓ Maybe Fix It?I have had this game for a year or so and enjoy it so much when I am in school or bored because I can play a season fairly quickly. Currently I am in my 6th season as a 4 time champion and I believe 2 time or so MVP. Now in my 7th season they are subbing me out when we play bad teams. 100% in a real world context it makes sense, but not when I want to average 20 points a game, and even get playing time because it will sub me out for the ENTIRE game. ✓ Amazing, but a bit easyAfter first trying this game, I immediately fell in love. It’s brilliant and really fun. I love the season mode and all of its features, and can’t wait to see what lies ahead in future updates. However, I have one major complaint. While the game can be a bit tough when you first start off, after just one season on minimum salary cap I built a superteam out of the worst team in the league. I immediately went 7-0 in back to back seasons, winning the championship both years, and now have a full roster with talent all around, young and old. I like playing the games out myself, and even on the hardest difficulty it’s pretty easy. The CPU plays decent defense; it’s their offense that just doesn’t cut it. Since they don’t move without the ball, they struggle to find good shots. If you can figure out a way to make them make plays off-ball, it would balance the game much better.
