Great to get you movingGraded 4 stars as there are some glitches! Steps not registering even when on my normal step count they have! Quick boogie not filling up even when my heart rate is 150+ Very frustrating!.Version: 1.13

Fun app but….I’m 71 and was a couch potato so when I got my Nomi I was loving that it was getting me up and moving. I just walk to earn hearts to feed her though. I’m now up to 2500 steps to feed her but my goodness, she has to eat about 4 times to keep her happy! And I’m only on the 4th level. I know if the steps keep increasing 500 steps at every level, I’m not going to be able to keep it alive which makes me sad. Seems like I’m already walking so much I don’t have time for a life! Can’t you make a way to level off for us seniors? Maybe a different setting for seniors? Also, it runs several minutes behind on syncing the steps and doesn’t let you know when you have enough to feed it so you don’t know when you have filled the heart without pausing your workout to wait for it to catch up or you walk more than it takes but you don’t get credit for it. If you walk over the amount to fill, it should count towards your next heart. I don’t want my Nomi to die ! Help please!.Version: 1.13

Love it!I love this app for my watch. It’s so much fun watching my Nomi grow, and evolve. However, like some have mentioned, it would be nice if it would automatically “feed” the Nomi, instead of having to manually go in and do it. With my job, I am on my feet and moving constantly but I only remember to feed it now and then. Other than that, this is so much fun! It’s like the 2020’s version of the Tomagatchi from the 90’s! 😅.Version: 1.13

Fun watch app w/ some room for improvementIt’s a fun app for the watch and my kids are getting a kick out of watching it with me. I really like the update with games to store hearts for later, BUT if I try to play a game while also running the workout app, it kills the workout app. I’m a jogger and want to be able to collect my hearts while also tracking my time and distance in the workout app. If the two could be running in parallel that would be awesome!.Version: 1.13

Love my NomiI love most of the features on Nomi but wish there was a feature to custom set my steps. Occasionally I think we all want a day of not doing much and My Nomi dies. Not always easy to get extra food through challenges so personalisation would be great for this.Version: 1.13

Cutest fitness app I’ve found.I love this app. It’s simple to use, can be added to your watch screen and really encourages you to “go for a walk”, buoyed on by the excitement of watching your Nomi grow. Not only does it motivate you to get your steps in each day, to keep your pet alive. But it also acts as a reminder to keep your watch charged. I was always forgetting to charge up my watch or leaving it on charge but now I have gotten into a routine of charging and then back in my wrist to keep my little guy alive..Version: 1.13

Love itMy current nomi (Bingus) is at day 273! It’s a great game. Definitely can get you moving when you see your nomi running low. The only thing I wish was that after a little while(100 days or a year) your nomi would just rest eternally so you could start a new one without killing your old one. There’s 3 different pathways and I wouldn’t mind starting a new one but I don’t want to kill mine..Version: 1.13

Good start, could do with some workThis is a great start, with a fairly easy to use interface and definitely nostalgic to my youth! It's a good motivator to keep your little buddy alive for sure! A lot of thought has gone into the design to keep it simple. I like the changing backgrounds and the complication on the watch face. I think there are some things that could do with improvement. On the 2nd game where you can win 3 hearts, I don't quite understand what I'm meant to do to get the 3 hearts, the instructions are too vague. What counts as exercise? And for how long? You can switch between calories and steps, but the calorie requirements are ridiculous. 100 kcal is nowhere near equivalent to 500 steps, making this setting unusable. Please adjust this setting to take account of gender and body mass to make it usable. Finally, the difficulty feels like it ramps up very quickly, could do with this being a bit less steep..Version: 1.13

AwesomeSo this app is really amazing and I find it really easy to use and I am a coach potato lol. I have made my Nomi to 165 days and find it easy to keep it alive. I also Sind it easy to gain a large sushi. I recommend this app to you. Also I am really upset because I am going to pair my watch to my iPhone and the app will reset.😭 So I am delaying it. If you guys have any feedback how to keep my progress then please tell me as I really want to find a way how..Version: 1.13

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!This app is honestly the best app ever for the apple watch. It is so amazing and fun. I have only been using it for 25 days but I love it so so mcuh! I am so so exited to see what new features there are comming!! I have one suggestion though: Could you add a thing were it sets the time nomi sleeps for depending on your age that you put in your health app? Adults are mabye sleeping 6-7 hours a night but kids and teenagers should sleep for like 8 hours and that 2 hours of nomi slowly loosing hearts! You dont have to add this feature or read anything I sais in this message, but I put it out here if you want it!! (The people that put less than 5 stars to this app are SUPER COCOOOO! 😂).Version: 1.11

Awesome addition!Great simple app Fun to every now and then check on your lil guy and give him a feed. Not over the top from your day today life. I would hope to see some random creature you can acquire. Such as commons, uncommons, rare & legendary etc. :).Version: 1.10

Good motivation to move aroundJust bought this at about 9.40PM while in bed and already had a run around the house to get some steps in 😂 Cute animations overall good idea and execution!.Version: 1.3

A great little app, perfect for the watchThis is the perfect kind of app for the Apple Watch. Simple, fun, and motivational, playing to the strengths of the platform. Very appealing visuals and a clever concept; staying healthy yourself keeps your little buddy alive too. This isn’t the kind of thing that needs many features - the beauty is in its simplicity, and the very reasonable price reflects that - but further integration with the health app in some way (heart rate/exercise tracking) would be nice right now during these quarantine times when we’re still trying to exercise but can’t get those steps in. I also second other users ideas about a tiny bit more interactivity; everyone who plays this is going to instinctively try to poke/pet the little guy, and that tiny bit of extra interaction would go a long way. Overall, great app and I hope the developer continues to support it because it fills the perfect niche on the watch..Version: 1.6

Great app however….Don’t get me wrong the app is amazing. But if there could be a way to use sushi to play mini games, things like a flappy bird game or something. Anything that allows you to interact with your pet. This game has a lot of potential to be the best app for Apple Watch users.Version: 1.13

Motivational TamagotchiGreat app, simple, motivating, price point isn’t bad and the developer is friendly and communicative. The latest update is also great, well done!.Version: 1.6

Oh this takes me back! Nomi is the bestLoving my Nomi! Such a cute little thing, love taking care of him and watching him evolve! Great app!!!!.Version: 1.10

A great watch pet app with high potentialThis is a fun little watch pet that brings back great memories of childhood tamagotchi days. The concept is superb to move around to feed Nomi as well as keeping the watch owner active and healthy. I left 4/5 stars as the highly interactive creator who responds very frequently has room to make this even better. More engaging interactions with Nomi would be so much fun such as bathing/cleaning and “flushing” if you will, after Nomi goes to the bathroom, especially when young. Watering Nomi as well as having a “medicine” option when Nomi gets sick. The hearts can count for feeding Nomi so that’s fine. Petting and being interactive with Nomi could fill a “cared for” type of gage. Lastly fun games we could play with Nomi itself, not just exercise could be fun. It new and I’m sure it’s complicated and takes time to add these types of interactions but none the less, it’s a great pet app and great visuals that bring back those nostalgic memories..Version: 1.10

Fun cute app, but there are a few issuesI love my Nomi and I love feeding it but there are some issues that I would love if they were resolved. The first issue I have is that my steps don’t stack. So if 1,000 steps get me one heart to feed Nomi, I might get busy with my kids and cleaning and get 2,500 steps. The issue is that I can only feed my Nomi one heart instead of two. I would love if I could gather multiple hearts before feeding my Nomi for when I get really busy. It is a little disheartening when I get 3,000 steps, remember to feed Nomi and I can only give it one heart. A second issue is that the Nomi step counter will sometimes be lower than what my Apple Watch is showing. Sometimes, I’ll take a walk and gain a lot of steps on my Apple Watch but the Nomi app won’t update and show all those steps. Finally, I don’t like that I have to wait until my next Nomi is born to implement updates to my Nomi. Overall, I really like this app, but these issues stress me out a little..Version: 1.6

Super CuteWe are all big kids at heart and I loved my virtual pets when I was younger. I have had mine for two days now and I think it is just the cutest idea. It will get you motivated as well as keep you going to see the changes in your little pet..Version: 1.3

Great little app!I’m on day 9 and I love this little guy. I called him potato! I wish there was a way you could store hearts as you earn them though as I’m getting them more than I’m running out. A few other different games would be great too, and maybe the ability to do more interactive things with him like play ball or give him little outfits. All in all I’m very impressed and he helps me get up in the morning to start my day..Version: 1.13

Nomi is the best!I love Nomi- he’s so much more motivating than a normal pedometer. He helped me get moving out of lock down and his brothers and sisters have helped nudge me to being more active in general. I’ve even fallen in love with hiking..Version: 1.12

Day 25 and countingI wanted to edit my review to say that I am still going strong with my original nomi. Looking forward to the upcoming features..Version: 1.5

CuteThe app is very cute and a great motivator, but I do wish your Nomi’s health wouldn’t go down when your watch is on the charger. There are some days (especially the weekends) when I just don’t put my watch on. I’ve had two Nomis die because I left my watch on the charger all day and didn’t feed them. Or if you could get a notification on your phone reminding you to feed them when you don’t have your watch on..Version: 1.13

MotivatedReally enjoy this app, I was starting to fall out of love with it as I just couldn't keep my nomi alive, due to lockdown and being at home homeschooling I just couldn't keep my steps up, especially when after your nomi reaches 20days old it takes 2000 steps for a heart, and when you’re stuck indoors its impossible, BUT the new update and ability to store hearts gained from the mini games is brilliant, I can save up sushis when I do my usual exercise outdoors. So my nomi is now 24days old. Thankyou for the update!!!.Version: 1.13

Fantastic IdeaA nifty game for the active. Tamagotchi + fitness. Such a good little game. Definitely worth the purchase..Version: 1.3

I like it but it dies pretty easy.I absolutely love this concept and it’s really cute. Unfortunately, I can only get the first evolution, if that, as I usually only wear my watch during the work week and then the Nomi dies during the weekend. So by Monday I have to start over. I know some people wear their watches every day but I’m not a fan of having a big ugly square on my arm all the time. :) so maybe in the future if Nomi can take a break, a nap, or visit/vacation during specific days, that would be lovely..Version: 1.13

Not counting my stepsUpdating my review. Just saw the app help and have followed instructions 🤞 For some reason nomi says I don’t do any steps at all and I can’t seem to get it to work so it keeps dying 😔.Version: 1.13

LOVE THIS APP SOO MUCHWhen I got my Watch this the the first app I installed! As soon as I wake up in the morning I check if my virtual friend is ok. Absolutely love the concept of this app and encourage everyone who has an Watch to download it! Thanks so much for making such an incredible app!.Version: 1.12

LovelyLoving this little app. It brings back some memories for when I got my first tamagotchi. Crying and running early in the morning getting ready for school because I forgot to fed my pet before going to sleep. 14/10 brought back great memories. I wish it had more features it is pretty simple. But brings me joy seeing how evolves after a few days. I’m afraid to reaching the limit. Dear developers, are you planing on bringing more features or develop a new app seeing the joy you’ve brought to some of us?.Version: 1.7

Amazing but 1 annoying bug preventing 5*Does exactly what it says on the tin and is great motivation to keep active and break up the day! My only issue with it is the constant little annoyance of having to restart games at the beginning. When I start a boogie game, 9 times out of 10 it will just return to the Nomi homepage and I have to scroll and restart the exercise. Not the worst bug in the world but it's certainly annoying when you're getting ready to exercise and you keep getting postponed by it messing up. Would give 5⭐️ otherwise..Version: 1.13

Great!Love this app so much and is keeping me super motivated. I wish I could feed my friends pets when they get low though..Version: 1.13

Great to keep you motivatedSuch a good way to keep you up and moving around, can’t face seeing my Nomi sad! For such a small price I really recommend anyone with an Apple Watch to get this..Version: 1.7

Obsessed!I love this app! Nothing has kept me as engaged or responsible in closing my watch rings each day like those little tears from my nomi do when he’s hungry. My only complaint is that I can’t seem to get the mini games to work. I don’t know if it’s me somehow or a glitch with the app. Whenever I tap on it I get no response from the game. Should I be doing something different? Other than that, thanks for creating this! Brings back my tamagotchi days..Version: 1.13

Very good motivatorI decided to purchase this app as I needed something different to motivate me to move once I had done my workouts for the day. It’s good coz it’s about moving and steps. You don’t need to workout to keep your pet alive, your heart becomes full when you are doing the house work or even washing the car. Everyday activities keeps your pet alive. The reason I have not given it a 5 stars is my watch battery life. As an AW user we all know that the battery life is pants. I find now that I am charging my watch half way through the day to keep the battery topped up. My watch battery used to get me through a day, I always charge it up at night only!!.Version: 1.13

So cute! This app is so adorable! With working from home often, the little guy encourages me to get up and go for a walk a few times a day. It’s very simple and sweet. To answer another reviews questions about how it works. It seems like you can only get one heart at a time. So if you go for a run, you’ll fill up one heart. You will still have to go for a walk later to fill up the heart again (hit the step goal) to feed him again. Overall, such a cute light hearted app. I can’t wait to see what she evolves into, and other future enhancements!.Version: 1.3

Cute and Motivating!I love this little guy! It motivates me to move even when I’d rather be lazy (who could stare at that crying face and not get up!?). The simple design is perfect for the average user and the new updates are amazing. Thank you for this fantastic app! One suggestion is to have the ability change the step amount. Around level 30 it gets very difficult to meet the step requirements especially during quarantine..Version: 1.7

Cute!Nomi is so cute! The app itself is a really good idea as it forces me to get in some steps to keep him happy and fed. It’s well-designed and runs smoothly on on my S4. I do wish there was some kind of safety net option to keep him alive if you’re so busy you can’t look at your watch for a whole day..Version: 1.5

Buffering on Apple WatchI paid for the app on my phone because the app wouldn’t process on my watch. I then went to purchased in my account to download to my watch and it just sits there buffering 😔 my watch is up to date. Only giving 1 star because I can’t use it but I know I would give 5 stars if I could!! Any feed can would be appreciated!! Update: after giving an initial 1 star, I can now say it’s finally working on my watch but still quite glitchy - it’s stopping and starting during my workouts but after my first Nomi died, I seem to be managing to keep my second one alive.., time will tell. Bug fixes would be great… 👍🏻.Version: 1.13

Cute and motivating!I love nomi and how it will often push me to go just a little further! I do wish hearts stacked, as others have said, so that I don’t need to keep checking in the middle of a workout or face the sadness of doing 2-3 hearts worth of effort and only getting 1 fed. It would also be really nice if there were an option for a rest/recovery/sick day every once in a while, since I’ve most often had a nomi die on me on a day I SHOULDNT be moving (like a bad migraine day) and wish I could do what’s right for my body without killing the lil guy..Version: 1.13

Love this appMy daughter and I absolutely love our Nomi’s, we’ve had them since yesterday. The only thing I cant work out is how to set up the friends connection. It’s saying I do t have my watch connected to the internet- but I do! Any suggestions on how to fix it? Other than that 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for sure! Feeding my little Nomi “Dumpling” is giving me a reason to get up and leave my work desk while I’m WFH! Thank you! 😊.Version: 1.13

Was great until notifications killed itI was able to get my nomi to stay alive for 39 days. Then I got no notifications saying it was running out of hearts and was hungry and then it died. I haven’t tried with another because that was frustrating, when there’s an update that fixes notifications then I’ll try it again. I got my wife to get it too and she will get notifications for maybe 2 days tops then they’ll stop so it will end up dying.Version: 1.12

Simple and cute.Just remember to check in every few hours. Cute little pet - just feed it. No cleanup, no water or mood swings. Just feed it a heart that you earn by walking. Don’t overthink this one..Version: 1.6

So cute!I downloaded Nomi not too long after it was released. I love using it to motivate my steps because using the rings as a motivator was getting a little steal. It hits right in the nostalgia feels (hey all you tomagotchi fans!) It has cute little animations and fun surprises the longer you are able to keep it alive. The developers are also really great about listening to feedback and release updates after taking things into consideration. Such a fun addition to the watch!.Version: 1.6

My favourite Apple Watch purchase!Every Apple Watch owner needs this app- especially if you’re trying to keep active and healthy. It had some minor bugs, but in a short space of time the developer rectified them and improved the experience greatly! The app is so simple, which is perfect for the watch. It motivates you to keep moving in order to keep evolving your Nomi. If you don’t, your Nomi goes to heaven (you can see all of your fallen pets from the past). For such a small price, I would recommend this app to everyone. Plus it looks fantastic as a watch face complication! Thank you to the developer/s for this app, it’s made me love my Apple Watch just that little bit more!.Version: 1.6

One Big Miss - Otherwise A BlastI love this app. It’s extremely motivating and has got me moving...But why can’t I use all my steps? If I go for an hour run and get 8,000 steps, I can only feed nomi a single time. I shouldn’t need to feed him throughout my workout. I get the goal of getting users to check-in and feed nomi on a regular basis, but I shouldn’t be penalized for getting a big bunch of steps at once. Maybe read workouts and allow a full heart recharge if you got after it? Thanks for the app. I really do like it minus this one thing..Version: 1.6

Cute appLove this app. I’ve had my Nomi alive for 21 days now. Ive really been looking forward to him evolving and have it set as a complication on my watch face. The only thing I wish it had was a way of storing up the hearts. If I don’t keep feeding him throughout a walk then I can’t use all my steps. I’ve just done a 3 mile walk and as I was trying to negotiate 4 dogs that I had with me I couldn’t keep feeding him. Now I’m home with only half a heart left and looks like he might not make the night 😥 It would be good if you could have the hearts you’ve filled lined up so you can feed him when you are home. Even if you still limit it to 3 that can be lined up. But really do love it. X.Version: 1.12

Fun electronic palUpdate: glitch happened twice yesterday. RIP Timothy IV - 84 days old. Update: malfunction is happening even with the update on my watch. I’ve lost at least 7 extra hearts due to this glitch. Update: I manually forced an update on my watch and, fingers crossed, the quick boogie malfunction hasn’t happened yet. I’ve played four times and earned four hearts. Update: quick boogie is still malfunctioning. My heart rate averaged 150 during the entire 11 minutes and it still told me I lost. Update: played the quick boogie, I was on a rowing machine and my heart rate was well-above the target the ENTIRE time but it did not record it. So I quit halfway through and started over. It happened again. I did the whole thing this time, hoping that maybe the bar just wasn’t filling in, since there was a check mark in the bottom corner each minute. It still told me I lost and did not give me a heart. Hopefully my pet doesn’t die tomorrow when I know I’ll be unable to exercise. My nomi, Timothy IV (RIP Timothy Sr, Timothy Jr, and Timothy the third) is fun. It keeps me accountable because I really don’t want him to die. Those tears get me. Lol. It’s a lot less glitchy since I got a new watch..Version: 1.13

Great app and meaningful updatesI downloaded this app when I saw it on Reddit and love it so far. The app developer is quick to respond with any issues experienced. The only issue I having to open the app to feed the heart while exercising. When I go out for my runs I have to pause and feed it. I wish there was a way to auto feed. This is really my only complaint and it’s not enough of a hassle for me to take away a star for the rating. I just saw that there were some updates for calories instead of steps which is great since I do a lot of biking and that is not counted. I just wish I could change that on my current nomi..Version: 1.6

Loooove my little guyI absolutely love this. I’m on the sixth or seventh evolution (maybe more, honestly lost track, lol) and watching him grow has been so cute. I lost the first two I had before they updated the app and let the little guy sleep. Every time I reach a new evolution, he requires more energy. This is fine, but I’m hoping that it’ll start maxing out soon. It’s getting hard to keep up and I don’t want him to die! Anyways. If you like little electronic pets and need some motivation to get moving, this guy is adorable. He’s got a complication that changes as he gets hungry so you can always tell when it’s time to feed him!.Version: 1.9

Love but would prefer smaller increase in the number of steps!Really love this app, it encourages me to get up and go for a walk! However, I would prefer the steps to increments by 250 rather than 500 whenever it evolves - especially during lockdown when the weather isn’t great I can’t walk as far as often!.Version: 1.7

Symbiosis of coevolutionUpdate: Using it for 6 months now, app has improved over time and appreciate the developer is making changes based on the feedback received. No major impact on battery performance. If I have to pick one great feature then it’s the mini game. Using the app for 8 days. It’s easy to use and Apple Watch only app. Download directly on your watch to avoid any issues with step count. Slight delay in registering the step counts but it is not a big deal. Perfect for the current times of “quarantine”, if I keep “nomi” alive, I’m alive and well. The symbiosis necessary for coevolution!! Will update the review once I’m sure about the impact on battery performance..Version: 1.10

Doesn’t workI have been very active today - 12,000 steps but when I play “the game” it’s not recognising my exercise even though I’m working out hard. So my nomi is crying and dying even though I fed it lots of times. Why? I bought it to stay motivated but it’s clearly not working! Update - still can’t re-download this app - very frustrating! Can’t use it, very unhappy.Version: 1.12

Very cute! This is a darling app, reminiscent of a Tamagotchi. You take steps to keep your nomi alive. I appreciate that the devs have temporarily decreased the number of steps needed due to many people being home to practice social distancing right now. There’s even a complication for your watch face! And... this app is NOT subscription based! Two feature requests for devs: -I do a lot of indoor cycling (especially now with the pandemic), which is an activity that doesn’t generate steps. It would be cool to somehow get credit for those workouts toward hearts (maybe through calculating the calorie equivalence or something?) -I’d love a complication that could go in the corner of the watch face!.Version: 1.5

So cute and so worth the 1.99I’ve literally had this little game on my watch for a day and I love it soooo much soo cutee and a wonderful way to keep you moving because you don’t want your little friend to die I just hope I don’t have any technical difficulties with it and he die then but so far so good will keep my review up to date too so you know.Version: 1.13

Heart bankI ADORE my little buddy and my kids actually ask to borrow my watch to feed my watch pet. I just wish there was a way to bank the hearts when I've filled them and it's not hungry or to turn 3-5 hearts earned into a snack. Like if I go the day and don't get a chance to feed the little dude but have earned 5-10 hearts from working all day long I shouldn't only have one heart to feed them once I can or if I've forgotten my watch for a day but had earned 10 hearts the day before I should have a snack or two banked from the excess the day before. It almost feels like getting punished for not being an athlete or taking a day to rest..Version: 1.13

Good motivation and love the design! It’s like having a fitness buddy on your wrist! Nomi helps to keep me motivated to get my steps in each day - plus it’s cool to see how it will evolve over time. Really love the game feature as it allows me to get a heart much quicker when I’m running out of time. Work perfectly on S6. Very excited to try out the features of the new release & share with friends..Version: 1.11

Steps don’t countI do an average of 12k steps a day but the app is not recognising it . Also can’t seem to find a way to add to my watch face ..Version: 1.13

Great concept and beautifully designed!Excellent concept and can’t wait to see what my nomi is going to evolve into.Version: 1.2

Super Cute and Motivational.I really enjoy the little Nomi. It keeps me motivated and reminds me to move, which is especially important during quarantine. It also fun for kids! My son loves to “pet” Nomi and feed it. My only issue is that my first Nomi just died today....while I was sleeping, not wearing my watch. I didn’t even know that was possible. I kept it alive for 32 days and then I woke up to find it dead. Super disappointing!! I think it should pause it’s feeding cycle while on a charger. Also, what happens if I get sick or have an injury? Does it just die? I guess so. It would be nice if there were an option to put Nomi in hibernation, or something like that. But really, overall it is cute and motivational..Version: 1.6

SO FUNNOmg i can’t even explain, having a mate on ur wrist to motivate u to be active and keep going is so good! def recommend, only thing is is that it costs money, but it’s worth it!!!.Version: 1.13

Update from last ratingI figured out how to play the game for hearts - I have grown my Nomi for 61 days now. I am curious if Nomi evolves past 60 days. I’ve noticed that it evolves every 10 days but when I got to day 60 - it remained the same. I wonder if that’s where it stops growing. If it is, I’d like to petition the developers to let it continue to evolve. It went from a blob to what looks like a young dragon that hovers. I’d like to see it do more - especially after I’ve worked so hard to keep it alive..Version: 1.8

Everyone needs a NomiThis is one of my absolute favorite Watch apps. I have tried other pet apps before but this is the best in my opinion. It’s quite simple but the design and concept are amazing. I have only had my Nomi for 4 days but I love feeding it and checking up on it. I’m just wondering, however, when it will evolve for the first time. Looking forward to it and I can’t wait to see new features in the future. Thank you so much for this!.Version: 1.12

Great fun but it feels like its trying to kill itselfThe app is great for the most part the animations are super cute but there are a couple things I have a problem with. the first is that it sleeps less than the recommended amount a person should be getting so in the morning my pet is already starving itself and probably has been for 2 or so hours. My second problem is in the step counting I dont fully know how the apple watch measures but I feel like the refresh in the app is very slow mine was stuck at 999 for 10 or so minutes while my pet was at 25% of one heart and I was worried that it would die before the app counted the 3 flights of stairs I had climbed post 999steps. the concept is great but I do hope that these small things will be polished..Version: 1.9

Great little appThe most recent update is nice and stable. Sadly my 24 year old nomi died today and I was devastated. My wife literally hugged me. Looking forward to new updates and more options. Keep on developing..Version: 1.6

Love this app so much but a few questionsI’ve been using this for about 2-3 weeks and can’t stop playing it. I have a few questions though how long does a single heart last roughly as sometimes I really have no clue how long I have with one heart. My second question would be while using the sushi you win from game modes do those count as feeding your pet which changes your average amount of feeding every day or do that not count at all as feeding and just fill a heart. Other then those questions I can’t get enough of this app looking forward to new updates and maybe new game modes possibly.Version: 1.13

Need new stages to completeLove this app, great motivator….now I’ve kept this little guy alive for 100 days there is no other options unless I let it die and try to start again and get a different out come. Please can you release some new phases to complete to continue the motivation :).Version: 1.13

Very fun way to keep you activeI downloaded this app about a year ago and I’m loving it since them! Right now I’m at 365 day streak but the last evolution was at 100 days mark! Please put more updates!!.Version: 1.13

It's Awesome! Wish it had more animations. It's Like the old school tomigochi pets, it's like having a Pokémon or Digimon on your wrist that forces you to think about working-out or else your little buddy dies. And you get to a point where you really don't want your little Nomi to die. I love it! My hopes is that they come up with more animations, like when you pet Nomi it does the same cute shimmy, but that gets old after a few times of doing it. It would be nice to see more interactive animations. Maybe having Nomi do tricks like a flip or rollover or somehow teaching Nomi something new. And perhaps there can be other forms of workouts that help feed Nomi as well. If those things can be added, this app would be such a fun interactive piece that I wouldn't want to live without..Version: 1.11

Really Fun!Awesome way to encourage exercise! Such a cute app. latest update is great!.Version: 1.7

Glitch - Please help!I love this game (hence 5*) but my Nomi is about to die. I am ill and can’t get up today but I had saved several large sushis for such days. Sadly when I try to use them it shows up as “-11” (minus 11?!) and I have no sushi’s to use. Please help before ‘J’Accuse’ pegs it!.Version: 1.13

Like a Tamagotchi but cuter and on my watch!Feed my lil guy with my steps and exercise...Genius. Very cool concept. Love this app..Version: 1.2

MotivationalThis app is perfect to keep you motivated to walk, perfect for this time when we easily forget how inactive we can get, as Nomi gets bigger you have to walk more and it’s way more of a motivation to walk more because he has evolved. Would be more perfect if we could see him walk or do something else rather than just stand there. But overall I love this app, and hopefully we can get to see more cool updates!.Version: 1.9

Needs adaptation for night shift workersPlease can you allow nomi to be fed after midnight. I work shifts and struggle to keep it alive when I’m on nights as it won’t allow me to feed it due to sleeping. Maybe add an option for it to sleep when you tell it to, rather than assuming you won’t do any steps after midnight..Version: 1.13

Active calories a game changerThis most recent update takes a cute app to the next level. Most steps are kind of hard to track so using active calories/move ring data is great! Thank you for providing difficulty level also!.Version: 1.6

It’s cute but…This app is super cute but it has a couple of things I wish were different. It would be great if your hearts were automatically applied to your nomi. I’m a nurse and I keep losing because I’m too busy to go into the app and click the heart. It almost becomes too tedious and I find I’m getting uninterested. Also, it’s the same nomi every time. Why isn’t there different looking ones? Again, it’s gets boring. It is cute and I try to keep it alive but there’s lots of room for improvement..Version: 1.13

A great motivatorA great way to motivate yourself to move more. It’s a bit frustrating that you have to really bust a gut to get the spare hearts as the sushi games need a heart rate of over 128bpm so going on a walk won’t cut it but it’s definitely made me move more - I’m now going out for extra walks for hearts and doing extra HIIT for sushi on top of my normal running/weights.Version: 1.13

Great app.A must have for your Apple Watch. Mine has just reached 100 days old and encourages extra steps. Would have liked the step count to continue rising but seems to stop when each life is worth 3500 steps. 👍.Version: 1.9

Love itI have named my nomi Bob and he’s 25 days old, the only disappointment with it is the mini games don’t work, I have re downloaded the app and reset my watch but they still don’t work but saying that it doesn’t effect the game for me.Version: 1.13

Very nice appKeep motivates me a lot. It is very surprising me watching how this little guy grow up and motivating you more moving to keep him alive and see him grow up.Version: 1.13

Needs to have a catch for chargingIm only giving it a 4 because there needs to be some kind of “pause” for when the watch is charging. My pet keeps dying because i charge my watch only when it is needed. So if my watch dies in the middle of the day, it has to charge. Then by the time i put it back on, its bed time. I wake up and the thing is already starving. So i have to work really hard to gain hearts. And if i dont, it dies..Version: 1.13

Customization options? As much as I enjoy this app, I would love it even more if it included little things like accessories and having the option to change the environments. It would be a good idea to implement a coin system where you get coins if your nomi is still alive by the end of the day. And we could use those coins to buy little accessories like hats and to unlock backgrounds. Just a thought as someone who loves being able to customize everything ..Version: 1.11

First impressions- very cute!I wanted to give a review to help with the ratings. I just got it and it’s been working fine. The Apple Health app does have a bit of a delay, but eventually the steps are counted and my Nomi gets fed. It is really cute and a great motivator to get some steps during the day. So far so good. I’ll come back and update my review and rating after I try this out for a few days. Update: I’ve upgraded my review to 5 stars. During this time of social distancing and isolation, I’ve kept up my goal of 10,000 steps with the cute reminders from my evolving Nomi which I’ve named “Marshmallow”. My kids love him too. Highly recommended to brighten up your day in these difficult times..Version: 1.5

6 hours oldMine isn’t registering steps at all and I completed my exercise ring three times today! I have half a heart left and it won’t even last the night... 😪 Edit 2 weeks later.. after me writing the above the developer has contacted me and cured all the faults! Brilliant app that works, encourages and motivates! Thank you!!!.Version: 1.12

Fantastic Fitness based TamagochiThis app is fantastic so far! I love tamagotchi/pet apps and there’s just not many options on the Apple Watch which really surprises me. A fitness based tamagotchi like app is genius. I agree with a lot of others though, having more interaction options with your “pet” to care for it would be a great addition! Personally I think 8 hours of sleep time would be nice too instead of only 6. Def will recommend this to friends and family with apple watches..Version: 1.13

I love this!!! ❤️What a cute and brilliant app this is! My only negative to report is the sense of loss I felt after losing my little guy after nurturing him carefully for 31 days after one crazy day of work meetings. I lost Blitsy... I was bereft! I am now on day 50 with my latest cute companion and have formed quite a bond. The strange virtual grief at the first loss (maybe COVID PTSD) has motivated me even more this time round. I think this is a lovely use of the watch and getting those of us working at home off their a**es where we are in real danger of being sat immobile for large portions of the working day. I now do meetings walking around an adjacent field to fuel the tiny, smiling fella! Thank you from bringing Nomi love into my life ❤️.Version: 1.11

Works well but doesn't back upWorks well, is super cute, and has convinced me up off the couch more than once! Note: doesn't back up to iCloud. Had to unpair and re-pair my watch to my phone and despite backing up beforehand I ended up killing a several-month-old nomi. :(.Version: 1.8

CuteGreat idea. Keeps you moving. Would be cool to be able to interact or feed a friends nomi too. Although my mini games aren’t working I love the idea to earn hearts for later!.Version: 1.13

Cute little buddy, stay active so they don’t die! :)I’ve kept my Nomi alive for 95 days and counting - it has definitely motivated me to walk throughout the day or be active when I don’t quite have the motivation. Overall, well worth the minimal cost because it’s cute and fun. Love that there are continual updates and it keeps getting better. Suggestions for the developer: is there a way to show time left before a heart gets empty? Or a reminder like “one hour left before Nomi dies” 🤣I would love to interact with it more somehow or would love if it read my exercise minutes to earn a heart for the “game” without having to start the exercise on the app. It really screws up my workout tracking / data to only set it for the 7-9 min at a time. Like if I could start a run and at the end, Nomi would tell me I earned 2 hearts worth based on HR during the run. Update: I’m now on my 3rd Nomi and they’re just so cute and motivating. Sadly, the last one died at 147 days and I didn’t get the “one hour left” notification - I think because I was asleep and watch was set to Apples new do-not-disturb sleep setting. Excited for the new evolution paths now with my newest Nomi!! Love the updates, great job!! Can’t wait to find some friends!.Version: 1.12

Cute, amazing, so well thought out. Love it!I ❤️❤️❤️LIVE ❤️❤️❤️❤️FOR❤️❤️❤️ MY ❤️❤️❤️❤️NOMI ❤️❤️❤️😊.Version: 1.1

Cute and MotivatingI would give Nomi 5 stars but there are a few things that need to improve. Nomi only sleeping for 6 hours isn’t realistic to someone trying to be healthy and get their 8 hours of sleep. When adding friends, we should be able to help Other Nomi’s out be sharing hearts. I would like to see evolutions go beyond the 100 day mark. Otherwise it’s a great little app and I enjoy making sure it’s hearts are full. After day 40 is really when it gets to be something that keeps me going..Version: 1.13

Love thisVery nice little App. Really cute too!.Version: 1.13

Good idea needs polishUpdating review. Definitely worth the minimal cost for such a cute app, especially with the latest QOL updates. Being able to set my own difficulty is a game changer. Also love the new sleep addition. Keep up three great work, looking forward to future updates..Version: 1.7

Good Motivator….Been trying to contact developer and getting no response. I need to wipe my Watch and setup as new to fix a glitch - I want to know if there’s anyway to save my pet if I do so. It would be great if there could be a setting to change the ultimate goal for disabled ppl as I’m struggling to fulfill quota. By the 100th day, you need to earn 4500 steps per heart and it takes 3-4 hearts a day to keep it alive and it only sleeps for 6 hours - my kid sleeps more! An alert when a heart is full would be handy - it happened once.Version: 1.13

In love with this App!This is my first ever review. I think this app warrants one. I grew up playing with a tamagotchi so this somehow brings me back to my childhood. I think the app is great and overall have no complaints. My only suggestion is to make the app more interactive. Like one of the reviewers mentioned, there should be some more things we can do to interact with our pet other than just feeding it. I know this app is growing so I am looking forward to the future updates!.Version: 1.10

Too Good of an App? PossiblyNomi is possibly one of the best fitness motivation apps on the market, but the enticing nature brings one fatal flaw: a deep emotional attachment to an adorable creature who can die in a day. I’ve worked on building my pet for years (590 days to be exact) and I hate to see him die after just hours of inactivity. Basically, all I’m asking for is a pause button to save my progress, or a way to store energy beyond the three hearts. Other than that, this is a wonderful app! Would definitely recommend to anyone with an Apple Watch..Version: 1.13

Watch faceI’ve downloaded the app tonight and love my wee momi however I cannot work out (and I’ve been trying for ages) how to add my wee pet as a watch face, please help. So far I’m delighted with my wee pet and will love keeping him alive.Version: 1.13

Family Sharing NOT supportedEven though they say up to 6 people can use this app with family share that is a lie. This app does not show up for anyone under purchases including the person who purchased it. Also DO NOT gift this app to anyone! They have to use something other than an Apple Watch to redeem the gift and app WILL NOT show under their purchases on Apple Watch. Over all the app is fun and that’s why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Just wish they would be honest with their advertising of family sharing..Version: 1.13

Cute, fun and healthyLove how cute Nomi is and love this new way to make sure I’m getting my exercise in. Can’t wait for him to evolve again and I’m looking forward to increasing the challenge level. Can’t wait to see what other developments you add to this app. Keep up the great work guys!.Version: 1.6

So sad...My Nomi(Gus Gus) was alive for 47 days but then I upgraded my watch and lost poor Gus Gus and am now forced to start all over again. If they can have a cloud for ones that die(I never killed mine, not once until now and through no fault of my own) then why can’t the cloud keep the alive ones attached to your iCloud back up or something so when we upgrade things we aren’t forced to start over again! I now have Gus Gus Jr. but he’ll be no replacement for Gus Gus!!.Version: 1.13

Update Ideas For DevelopersI really enjoy this app a lot! I think it’s really helping me loose weight and get motivation. I have a few ideas that would be awesome for updates. -Feed friends or give their pets sushi rolls when hearts are low. -Nudge friends to let them know their pets hearts are low. -costumes you can earn by getting points -send messages to friends through app -mobile app added for bonus features -New games -more evolutions -better push notifications -special fruits that will keep hearts full for an entire day in case you want a day off to relax “unlocked through games” -fairy fruit that will save your pet from dying “unlocked through games also have your Nomi hang with a friend for the day to babysit and friend gets bonus items for taking care of your nomi”.Version: 1.13

Love the updates!Revising my review after I stopped using Nomi for awhile and gave it another try after the latest update. We asked and they listened! Nomi is better than ever :). The new features are great and syncing seems faster and more accurate as well. Original Review (3 star): Love this little guy as it’s been keeping me motivated to stay active during quarantine. I’ve used it everyday but have become increasingly frustrated by the inaccuracies of the activity to heart ratio. I’m walking well over 5k steps a day but my Nomi is sad and starving by the end of the day. The developer has stated on Reddit that the steps increase each day, making it more challenging to keep your Nomi alive. Great but I’d like to be able to control this myself as there might be times I can’t meet a goal because of injury, illness, etc. Hopefully the next update will address these issues..Version: 1.6

Error getting to 5 feed s a day evolution. So I made a conscious effort to feed my nomi 5 times a day to get to the 5 daily feed evolution. As far as I was aware I was well ahead of my target. Every day I checked to make sure the average was showing 5 feeds a day and I was mentally tracking the number of feeds and seemed ahead. And on day 4 it said average 5 (I was probably over the goal each day too). But on day 5 it evolves into a 4 feed evolution and is now showing an average of 4? Evolution progress needs to be made more clear/obvious which evolution you are on track for - perhaps show a silhouette or put a line around the evolution path you are heading towards?.Version: 1.13

Fun Watch AppI find this app to be fun. There are a few things I would like to mention though. You can only have one heart saved. If you workout for miles and forget to give a heart during, you only earned one heart. Also, it doesn't update live. You have to go into the Activity app, and then back to Nomi to update it. I'm not sure what the refresh interval is. Also, Nomi should sleep when the watch is off. I woke up to an almost dead Nomi often. (I saw an update coming from a review response for this! Thank you!) Edit: I like the notifications in the new update. This is a solution to only getting one heart during my walks and forgetting to check and feed him during. Thanks! Nomi now sleeps for six hours in the new update. Thanks! Also, I’m not a fan of the Complication icons, the middle or the corner. I would like the full body, but small of course. I don’t like the zoomed in face. It also looks low quality at certain phases. Also, I would like it to have a bar for the Infograph Watch Face. Like the Rain one, with a number of hearts, and have the bar be one third for each heart. One more thing. I’m trying out Active Energy. After evolving, the icon for steps increase, instead of calories..Version: 1.7
