✓ Deleted itThis app said it was free with in-app purchases. In actual fact, as soon as you launch, it presents you with a screen to choose a subscription. You cannot get past this screen unless you subscribe. There is an option for a free 7-day trial subscription, which then immediately reverts to a subscription after 7 days. We all know that most of us will forget to cancel on the 7th day, and that’s what they are banking on. C’mon guys at least offer some functionality to enable people to try out the app, or just make it a paid app, don’t try to trick us. Leaves a sour taste in people’s mouths. ✓ Good tool, not greatThe data is very useful and presented reasonably well— the compass especially. The UI is not intuitive, with no great way to switch between different views; swipes work on some screens but not others. But by far the most annoying are the constant notifications for other apps by the developer. One of the key features of the app is setting alarms for certain positions of moon/sun/Milky Way, but the only recommendation from the developer to avoid these ads is to turn off ALL notifications, which includes the ones you set.
