✓ Not encountered the problems others haveI’m pretty happy with the app. It does what I need it to and can control whether my son can use his PC for homework or games. Hint: turn off the MS Store and forbid websites except for those you approve. It would be useful if I could switch between sets of approved apps/games and turn them all on or off with one button. ✓ Almost there!Finally I don’t have login to the site every time my kids send a request for additional computer time whenever they run out of their quotas. **Suggestion**: To the team maintaining/developing this app, provide the possibility to pause access on demand and not just when the allotted time runs out. It’s a key feature of any parental controls app. e.g. at dinner time all the parent would have to do to bring them to the table is a single click on the app to pause access. ✓ FINALLY!!!I’ve been waiting for this app for so freaking long! It was always a pain to have to log in and type my password every time I wanted to allow more screentime. But this app works really well. Touch/Face ID would be a good idea but to be honest my kids don’t play on my phone because they have their own. ✓ Robust tool for parentsI have used Screentime app on iPad and iPhone. My kids are able to come up with various work-arounds incessantly to the point that it is less than 50% useful. Ms Family is doing great! The children have never found any bugs or loopholes to go beyond their quota. I am just hoping that MS can add a little more features such as showing what time the kids have accessed which app. But overall, it is highly effective and I highly recommend it to any parents who are concerned about their children’s screen time!.Version: 1.7.0

✓ Excellent Parent App for Device ManagementI enjoy using this app. It alerts me if my teen is speeding and their screen time on all their devices (iPhone, computer, and Xbox). I wished a compatibility mode to control the data on the devices of what they can visit like computer controls but you approve or disapprove on the spot and screen pauses but it does not work on iPhone, unsure which phone this works on. However, after the fact you do get a list of sites banned, visited and history of data. Overall excellent parent app..Version: 1.24.0

✓ Great but one problemI am giving this app a 5 star review due to the app being great to use. However, I may have discovered a bug that causes the app to immediately crash after it fully loads. I am unsure if this is affecting other people with an iPhone running any version of iOS 16 but I don’t think it’s likely but this bug may impact majorly on the user experience so can the developer team immediately build an update to resolve this problem to stop it from potentially getting worse over time If anyone in the development team can reply to this review and take the necessary steps to ensure that this problem gets resolved quickly I would be really appreciated Thanks.Version: 1.24.2
✓ Almost love itI give it 4 stars because while it mostly works to help me regulate my children’s time in the computer and block websites that I deem inappropriate the app doesn’t let me see how much time my second child has spent. It also doesn’t work the same as it does for my other child when they request more time. I have to go in on the account and change the amount of time allowed every time..Version: 1.24.3

✓ Great App for online school studentsI can see how far my kid will go To distract themselves from their school lessons with this app and it’s easy to get them back on track remotely from anywhere I am. No more hovering over their shoulder to get them to focus on their work! I love this app. It does sometimes glitch in translation if they are allowed screen time it sometimes takes quiet a few times to give them access on their device. ✓ Works againThis app is essential for keeping an eye on which websites your kids are visiting, how long they are on for and how late. Makes things really easy. My kids are into anime, and they have occasionally visited sites which have turned out to have explicit videos or ads. We have been able to spot and block/report these before problems have occurred. It stopped working recently, and so I could only use the web version. I posted a review and got a reply from the developers (as did lots of other similar reviews) and now it seems to be fixed! ✓ Good for screen timeThis is a good way to check how much hours my kid has been playing also to see what he spends his money on ! I’ve been able to catch him purchasing stuff without telling me so very useful if you have sneaky kids that like to spend ur money a lot! And an easy way to give them more screen time ! Like if they run out they can ask for more and I just put more! I gave it 4/5 because there are times where this app just randomly closes by its self and crashes and I have to uninstall it and download it again. Very annoying but useful app.Version: 1.24.2

✓ Great, but needs one key improvementI’ve been wanting this to be an app for ages. Logging in via website took too long so I love that there is an app version. The only detail missing is the ability to log into the app with a password / thumbprint / Face ID. And I like how it can set individual limits to specific apps/programs. I don’t see any security risk since the only way to access this app is on my phone that has a password. ✓ Great app, but has been crashing consistently for the last couple weeksFor some reason a couple of weeks ago, this app just starts crashing, every time you open it it just closes on its own… I’ve been having to approve my kids request via the email and then it takes me to the website… The app is pretty much unusable at this point… And I have uninstalled and reinstalled it to no avail, and I’m on the latest iOS.Version: 1.24.2
✓ Quick add gametimeThe app is great and functions as intended but some times you are mid game and their time limit is about to expire. it would be really awesome if there was a button to quickly add time to an account. even 30min intervals would be fine and if the time added was temporary. how it is currently you have to dig down to each childs game time and move either the daily limit or time frame limit or both which you cant really do mid game sometimes. and once you do change it you have to remember to go back and put it back where it was. ✓ Was a great app…….crashing now fixed in new update 👍They’ve fixed it! No more crashing out-thank you. They also responded to my feedback. Used for 18 months and been great, sometimes can’t connect but keep retrying and it worked. Now, after last update, it opens and then closes itself within 3 seconds! Update: if you don’t use the back arrow within the app then it stops it crashing. Means you have to keep closing and opening the app, but at least it functions. However, the iPhone app leaves much to be desired. Notably, it can take several taps if you want to simply give a child 15 more minutes on an app of game.
