✓ Please add a reference tutorialThe game is fun, especially at the beginning when the puzzles are easier. It can get frustrating after a while when the searches and puzzles become more difficult, but with patience, tools are given which help solve harder puzzles. Some puzzles seem almost unsolvable, though. While waiting for tools to solve the hardest levels, you can move on to new storylines with easier levels at their beginning. One request would be for a help screen with access to the tutorials on how to solve puzzles (given only once when the new element first appears). It would also be nice to be able to look up some of the items in the collections to understand how rare or easy they are to collect. I’m making gifts to friends with no idea whether I’m giving away super valuable or rare items. I’m sure there are other things that would also be helpful in a reference section, especially for newer users..Version: 1.18.1800

Can we please have the ability to turn their annoying hint off? If I fail a room and I want to replay that room, I have to exit the room and return to the library before I can select the room again. Also, if tired of searching for items, you can play a relatively easy-on-the-eyes match 3+ in a row type games to earn energy, points, and tools. Also, can earn tools to help find particularly difficult hidden objects. The coins, which are frequently awarded are basically useless; but the rubies, which are sparingly awarded, are the most valuable and useful. Consequently, you end up accumulating hoards of coins with which you can’t do much of anything. Finally, something I hate about the game—approximately halfway thru a particular debut of another book by the diary; the game stops giving extra energy and tools and mainly gives coins. ✓ Complex and engagingThis game has the best graphics I have seen in a hidden objects or find object game. I like the complexity of what’s on offer but it is visually a bit too rich. The beautifully executed graphics are great, but finding objects is a much more difficult task than most games of this genre. The written instructions as scenes change can be a bit too quick. I’d like them slowed down to reading speed. Overall a great looking game - it’s only day one so I may return for an update. Yes, energy earned increases as you move through the books and rank but so does the required amount in books so you really aren’t gaining anything and it takes too long to replenish. Better control over story tasks and when they become available and unlock. Too much at once and makes the story hard to follow. Allow us to bank time at the end of an event. When playing match 3 boards, give extras if completed with remaining moves. For example, extra monthly event items, extra pieces for Mycroft investigations, etc. Let us pick what we want on collections whether it’s an eye piece, Maltese cross’s etc. Need a search option in collections..Version: 1.37.3700
✓ Pretty decent gameThis game has great artwork and for the most part I haven’t noticed any grammar or spelling mistakes. There are so far no bugs to make note of. However, like most games of this type, there are auto hints (which I hate. I haven’t checked settings yet to disable). There is also the annoying forced tutorial on how to play which makes you use hints. Those things are minor preferences of mine. What I didn’t like is that the game makes you play hidden object before it unlocks match gameplay. For a while I thought I misread something and downloaded the wrong game, but no; it was just developer’s preference for how they wanted to present the game. I really like the game so far though. ✓ More time and where objects are at the end.I do love this game but when the time is up it would be nice to see where the objects are that I hadn’t collected. Also, I think it would be much better if we could continue playing the game without the time wasted having to wait for 30 minutes or so. ✓ Stop anxiety!This game has been helping me cope with my COPD. I have a problem with OCD and now I can’t do the things I use to do. I lose oxygen trying and have to set down. It takes me 2 hours to open a box cake mix and get it ready for the oven to bake. It not good to be on oxygen and cook to. But when my oxygen goes down so far I lose brain cells and can’t think which sends me into anxiety attacks. They have put me in the hospital for a week. This game seem to slow the attacks down. One of the ways to stop the anxiety is being able to focus on anything that can take the mind off what made the anxiety click. Doctors says…name every thing you see! Doesn’t matter what it is just say the name out loud until you feel the anxiety slowing. This game does it for you. Hunt those hidden objects. This games looks like l might just stay with it. It helps me tremendously with my issue. I will have to let my COPD Team know about this games..Version: 1.17.1700

✓ ReviewI really enjoy playing this game. The only changes I might make is that on the daily goals - no more than completing 5 match 3 or hidden object. The match 3s get too difficult to complete without using a lot of “helpers” . Also, if you’re going to the require that players solve a specific type of puzzle, please make sure we are able to play that specific puzzle. There was one time no matter how many times I played and won a level, I could never flip the game to that specific puzzle. A help section would be helpful as well. A place we can go for general questions. Also, a way to switch puzzles would be nice as well. So, if I don’t want to play a find differences puzzle, I can change it. This game is beautifully done, love the animations when you win things and especially when you need to go someplace, it tells you where you need to go lol. I don’t personally care much for the story part of it, I just enjoy the ‘finding items’ part within a timeframe aspect. The most recent improvements have made this the ONLY game I play now! LOVE how you can adjust the ‘type of play’ I guess you call it, by hitting the green return circle thing. There are a few game types I’m not a fan of therefore, those books I avoided. Now, I can go back and switch the type of play for those books and voila! Problem solved! The only other improvement I would like to see made is that the match 3 for the higher levels are actually winnable! ✓ Very Good Game With Awesome VisualsI have been playing this game for about a few weeks now and so far have enjoyed the storyline and the visuals of each location, they have done an excellent job of creating the various locations in the Sherlock Holmes World. I find it challenging, but not frustrating. I like a game that I can enjoy without spending every two minutes watching an ad, and it was easy to get into the game. The only challenge I see is that sometimes the screens change really quickly going into and out of the various locations and I don’t and I don’t have time to sometimes read the notes or hints on them. But other than that I have really enjoyed delving into the world of Sherlock Holmes..Version: 1.34.3400

Just slow down the hints😬This is a beautifully illustrated and fun game that uses your wits as creative match-3 puzzles get harder as do object searches as you go through levels and treasured books’ worlds. But the hints at the bottom of the screen before and/or after each round flash too fast to read them🤨…. If you either slowed them down or let a player tap to proceed, the game would be less stressful and more fun. I’m really enjoying the beauty, detail and imagination of the scenes, characters and objects, and the range of cultures and history and good sense and values of imagination and exploration woven through the characters and their book lives interacting. ✓ Love, love, love this gameI have been playing Sherlock everyday for the past 12 months or so and after a long and stressful day at work I find it a way to stop thinking about work and concentrate on something else. I always want to keep my mind active as I get older - a brain is a muscle that needs working out to keep it going! I love the graphics and the variety of options - my favourite room so far is United States and it is my go to room to get the quartz elements I need to go to the book. It’s really frustrating to try to sign into your account only to be told your connection or something to G5 has been lost. I can’t participate in any of the clue games to catch the criminal because it doesn’t pick up. I can press the clues button to see how many clues I have collected & all it does is spin🙄 Also, since it will not allow me to sign in with my name & password, I end up playing games over after I already completed them. This too is absolutely frustrating!!! Please do something to fix this! I currently have 5 to collect and they all require the same items at 14 each (56 to complete). The eye of Horus rarely comes up as with Triquetra. It makes for a very slow game if you can’t complete items to move on to the next chapter. Is it possible to go back to a reasonable number of items. ✓ I Really Like This GameI enjoy playing this game because it gives you plenty of energy to spend a quality amount of time exploring the different books & pages & scenes. I also like that I can choose which type of game I want to play; whether match-3 or hidden objects, which is unique. I guess my favorite thing is that they give a good amount of time to search for the hidden objects. I love to play these kinds of games, but I have memory problems & my brain moves slowly because of it. Not everyone has a super computer for a brain, but that doesn’t mean we should be excluded from enjoying games that can help with our mental processes, too. So, thank you for being a little more inclusive to those with mental disabilities, even if that wasn’t your intention😁. I also like that we’re not constantly bombarded with in-app purchase ads, like some other games. Not everyone can afford to spend real money on games while living on small budgets & it gets tiring to get these ads every few minutes. I like that you don’t pop them up so often as to be annoying. My one negative would be that I wish some of the scenes weren’t quite so challenging (Alice in Wonderland, for example). This was great until it stopped working about the first part of December. When I click on the gem icon, my iPad locks up. The game forces you to use your energy prizes, I purposefully didn’t claim my 60mins free energy as I don’t always have a spare hour to play but when the season ended, the reward was automatically claimed and used immediately. The difficulty increases as you progress through the various books and the higher levels need more ‘energy’ to play. It can p certainly be played without making the in game purchases and there are opportunities to win the boosters which help game play. However as with most games there is a drive to encourage purchasing by using in game offers and advertising for their other games. I personally think this aspect is a bit over the top in Sherlock - particularly irritating are the constant reminders on the Home Screen of the quests which you have completed and could be assembled (if only you will buy the missing assemblers that you haven’t yet won!). If you like Sherlock Holmes & classic stories like Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz & etc; then you should like this game which combines both. The main games are good, although trying to find some of the objects in some of the rooms is near on impossible, when you do use a magnifying glass it’s that faint even the best eyesight in the world wouldn’t see it, so those rooms I tend to avoid. The club games are ok, but near on impossible to collect all the chests maybe reduce the number of chests so we have an actual chance of collecting them all. I can’t see the point of collecting coins, I have over 1.6m coins and you can’t buy anything with them, what is the point?? The only thing that is worth buying is Rubies and you have to buy them with hard earn cash !! Please can we buy things with the coins otherwise change it to collecting rubies and quest items but not coins, which would be more beneficial. My #1 complaint is the arrows in the scenes. They are a constant distraction and neurological irritation! I have survived a number of TBI’s (traumatic brain injuries) as well as 4 strokes. I also have a scar on my right eye. I can understand offering the occasional reminders to YOUNG players, but give adults the option to turn them OFF in settings! They are very bothersome and after 30 minutes of playing I find it getting more and more difficult to focus due to headaches and strain on my right eye. Directly linked to the very irritating flashing arrow hints. I really love the variety of scenes and some being more difficult than others, but there is definitely improvements that can be made for accessibility players. It’s all bound together by a story playing out in a library and it’s books and the scenes from the books provide the background for the hidden object game. I like the option of bypassing one or another of the scenes that I’m not too keen on by playing match-three instead, a nice touch. ✓ Privacy CompromiseI love this game! If I had to criticize, I don’t like that one HAS to buy rubies. Yes, I realize 15 crystals are given daily. However, it takes 148 to collect artifacts. Crystals should be given more frequently. It is unreasonable to ask for my contact list on my device. I wouldn’t like for my privacy to be compromised because I was on their contact list. ✓ Review from Morning Dove-2I am enjoying this game thus far. I also started playing June’s Journey and Pearl’s Peril. I was unable to play scenes due to lack of energy, flowers, and tokens today, so I have been searching for another search game. It would be nice to not be retired and on a fixed income but it is what it is. All games are similar but the energy is refilled when a quest is done in this game. There is also an option to select finding hidden things-which I love or matching-which I hate. Also the objects move around in this game which do not move in the other 2 games. There are items you receive to assist you when you are unable to locate an item in this game. A pointer helps you decide which one to use. The story plot is intriguing and the objects are animated like a jumping rabbit to click on. ✓ Great game, bad in-game economyTo start, I really do enjoy this game. It’s fun, the art is nice, I like the concept. The only downside is the in-game economy- the free to play coins and the pay to play diamonds. Yes, the diamonds can be collected SLOWLY without paying, but that accumulation is so slow that you never have enough to actually buy any of the better things in the shop. The free to play coins become essentially worthless after all the levels are unlocked, as there are only a couple things that can be purchased with coins in the shop. ✓ I just won five gold coins for completing a taskThe simplest energy booster in the shop appears to cost 40,000 gold coins. How is that realistically possible? Playing for free would turn me into an old man before I got half way through the quest! It’s perfectly believable that the people who draw the background art are very talented. The game designers are a little talented. The game producers are just greedy. Make a game that is enjoyable, playable and beautiful to look at, and invite people to contribute if they enjoy it, or sell the background art by auction, or produce one-off scenarios that people have to pay to get into. Those will all work and you wion’t be cheating or tricking people into paying to play a game that you advertise is free to play. Because you’re lying, it’s actually impossible to play for free. The player never get anywhere. Can i have my THREE CRYSTALS please? I think that’s almost enough to buy me enough energy to play one more section of the most basic name level that I’ll have to constantly repeat because the graphics set up failure to encourage purchases. ✓ SherlockThe graphics and vocabulary used are great. The game is creative and challenging, but it is truly cost prohibitive once you really get into the game. And what is the use of earning gold coins? You can’t buy rubies with them, and you can only earn rubies very, very sparingly. It’s the rubies that you need to use to buy the devices you need to help you along the way. It is for these reasons that I downgraded the gaming experience, am contemplating deleting the game altogether, and have not mentioned it to friends. I need certain assemblers but can’t earn them even though I win the game. I do spend money on this game but come on be fair. Please consider making it plausible to earn assemblers without having to MOSTLY use crystals. UPDATE. I just recently deleted the game even though I enjoyed it. I simply can’t justify spending that much money on a game. Perhaps you might consider making things more reasonable to buy. Best of luck. Update...The bottom line is to make the game more affordable for a wider range of players especially during this long drawn out pandemic. I was hoping that it would be 1 of the few games it would guide you into learning how to play it but it’s not. And if it would provide a dictionary for some of the words they use that are British language but not common in English language, then you would know what your searching for?
