✓ What happened after update?UPDATED REVIEW: was 3 stars now 4.5 again Last update really helped with the hitting problem from previous update. You can actually hit the ball again. I don’t see cheating but very rare glitch on safe/out calls. Very rare in my experience. Only issue is the cost of buying upgrade cases. Example: For the amount of $ for a “Legendary Chest” you should certainly obtain a better ratio of Legendary Cards. It costs 2,500 gems which is approximately $25 real world dollars. BUT YOU ONLY GET 1 LEGENDARY CARD!!! That’s insane. For that cash you should get a minimum of 5. Just saying devs. Good update though. Keep up the improvements and we will have a 5 star game all day. This game was an easy 4/5 star. Even spent occasional real $. But since update the batting strength of hitters is garbage. Most games have 90% ground balls for outs. And most of hose are weak hits. I tested my theory after 6 games. I chose batting practice. Chose top legend hitter and maxed out to level 13 against a level 3 common pitcher. The results were awful. This matchup used to result in 8-12 home runs over 100 pitches. Which would be accurate in real MLB. Instead it was awful. Way too many bloops and ground balls with rare HR. ✓ Love it but…I am a softball player and could never find a softball game. I looked for baseball games and tried out many, by far this is my favorite. But for the makers I have a few things I don’t really like or suggestions. 1. I don’t like that it starts at inning 9 so you might only have one chance to bat. And when your home team and on the field first and the other team scores nothing once you get home once that’s the end of the game and that’s kinda annoying. I think there should be an option if you want full game or quarter game like how you have it set right now. I also wish that you could not bat people for example pitchers roger is my pitcher on the game but he can NOT hit and all my other players do I wish I could sub him for another please take these suggestions into consideration! Achievements range from easy to difficult but not a big deal really. Cons: The your defense A.I. isn’t all that smart or it’s a RNG thing. Like there are times the A.I. should’ve dove at a ground ball but doesn’t. Or the A.I. switches from a better throwing outfielder to a lesser character. And you have no control over what character/player is going to make that play. There’s a fair competitive mechanic in the game. That after you’ve out scored your opponent by 4 runs. It handicaps you to get out easier. The latest update new feature is adding clubs to join. Which currently right now, I see no real benefits or perks. Except that you can donate card(characters) to your members. But it’s only low level cards. Which rarely will you put into play once you’ve obtained better players(cards) to replace them. Currently there’s no club vs. club tournaments or some kind of rewards for the best club. So we’ll see how this new feature plays out in the future. ✓ Amazing Game, still a few bugsI absolutely love this game, it’s extremely addicting and yet still very challenging at times. Sometimes I wish there was a mode where you could play longer games, but nonetheless still a really great game. However there are still a few bugs in the game. For example there’s a bug where randomly in the game the game will freeze. For example on a pitch sometimes the game will freeze and both players will still be active, the hitting team can still swing but the ball is just frozen in air. Or when a game is completed it may just freeze instead of completing the game. Or when you get an out instead of going to the next hitter you will be in an endless loop of just throwing the ball to whichever base you want until it unfreezes. Besides the above, the game is really honestly such a good game and I can’t stop playing either way, I just wish that glitch would get fixed. 👍🏻.Version: v1.2.0020892

✓ HmmmQuestion? I’m curious after reading all the reviews is there any way for the developers to answer what percent of the games are real players? Nobody wants to sit and wait for long times to play so I understand playing against and ai. There have been games in the past with good concepts that just never made it because the ai era wasn’t developed enough. But my review of the game itself is probably the best baseball game ever made it terms of balance and performance, ease of play and just over all fundamentally well made. You are better at this game if tut played baseball. What would be nice to know is what is happening in a game against the ai is the score already determined before the game because it seems to be able to hit pitches from anywhere and it’s not affected by changing the speed of the pitch. Then when you hit no matter what the timing is you might hit a blooper or a home run the feel of the game changes when you know your playing someone and you can tell that only when a situation happens where you know that someone playing like they throw it to the wrong base. But I’ve spent money on this game because it’s fun to play and if I owned a baseball team I’d have to spend money on players if if I wanted to win so same here. ✓ Great game, could use a few changesThis is honestly one of the best baseball games on the app. Perfect amount of customization, not super pay to win and very fun. However, I have a few issues that I regularly deal with. First off and most importantly, the lag on throws to beat the runner. I’ve been sliding into 3rd or home and the ball has been traveling through the air, then suddenly it teleports to the fielders glove to get me out. And I’m talking balls that had no business being close from the throw out. I don’t know if this is internets or developers issue, but I have 200mb wifi at my house and never lag. Second, I wish clubs did more. Just donating cards is hardly a reason to participate in clubs. I’d love to see head to head where you can call another club out and the members 1v1 for points. How I know this is I pitch high and left outside the strike zone and the ball was suspended then the player hit it over the fence and scored the winning run. ✓ I love this game…. But…This is one of my favorite mobile games of all time!! It is fun to play, looks great and continues to move forward. I love the team/club aspect, as it allows for discussion from experienced players with newer players. My main issues are the card donation values and the rampant cheating. If there is a purple card event, you can’t donate many at all. The value of those cards is too much. This needs to be tweaked. With the cheating, I am constantly reporting cheaters, only for the developers to say that they take this serious and it’s not an issue. I have hit numerous balls to the gap, round first, and some how I am out from an infielder catching the ball. I’ve also seen times when the opposition can’t not hit home runs. No matter how far out of the zone, home runs. I do wish the developers cared and would cut down on this cheating. It has driven away some of my club mates, and will eventually ruin the game. I may hit the ball in the perfect timing but it wouldn’t make it into the outfield, hit the ball really or late and it might go for a HR doesn’t make sense. Also the developers don’t actually know the rules of baseball, very easy on a force play you don’t need to tag a player just step on a bag. There as been many times that I would have had triple plays but can’t do it because they need to tag a player during a force play. The only issue I find is that I have long time now and some of my players have reached to the higher level, but as I uncover achieved cards or bonuses cards, the only thing I’m having is points for the same players that already reached to the higher level, thus, I purchase coins and diamonds, nonetheless is just a waste because I’m not allowed to get points and increase other players that I really need to increase. In other words, the system decides to give me bonus or cards with players that I already have. I do believe that specially if I purchase, I should be given the opportunity to develop players that haven’t reached the higher level as yet, and not be ripped by the system. ✓ Great PvP Baseball game that needs polishingBaseball Clash is a great addition to the “clash” genre. The animations of the players, the diverse themes of the stadiums are excellently executed. All the baseball players look like they are straight out of a Disney/Pixar movie. Each one is even given their own unique backstory. Plus the fact there is no cost to a match (as in, say, Golf Clash) is soooo nice. It makes loses not so painful especially as you go up against so strong rosters. However there is some technical issues that need addressing. I’ve come across a couple glitches. They are rare though. In field players will sometimes lock up when the scoop up a grounder instead of throwing to the base of your choosing. Sometimes caught pop flys won’t be called out especially if the ball is caught at the last second. The game seems to have trouble deciding if the ball hit the ground or was caught even if it was visually an out. Besides all this Baseball Clash is a great game and has potential to grow and get better and better!.Version: 1.2.010346
✓ Really great game BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!When you win games you get 20 to 25 trophies but if you lose you lose 30 or more and when you have runners on 2nd and 3rd if you send the runner on 3rd home the runner on 2nd will automatically goes to 3rd and the game will not let you send the runners back to the original base and if you like hitting fowl balls this game is for you I’ve never hit so many fowl balls on a game than this one and if you are getting close to leveling up or getting some kind of a award the game gets harder for you you could be winning 5 to 0 but I guarantee you you will lose so don’t make it so obvious some of the price’s on leveling up your players or buying chests could be a little more affordable but like I said if the game wants you to win you will if not you won’t hopefully they fix it but it is still a fun game it will frustrate you.Version: 1.2.0011621

✓ Extremely fun, just buggyI love the game. It’s the first game I’ve felt was worth paying for and I’ve give it a 5 five star rating expect for how buggy it is. I’ve lost a few games because of it. Sometimes it will not allow me to pick off a runner. I press the base I want to throw to multiple times, but it won’t allow me to throw. This happens about 5 percent of the time. Occasionally the same thing happens when pitching. I choose a pitch, but it won’t register and so it ends up using the previous pitch. If I’m not fast and quickly move the position of the pitch, it will throw the ball at the center of the strike zone. The last thing that has hurt me is that at times, about 10 percent of the time, it takes me multiple times pressing the bad I want to throw to before it finally will throw. This is what has lost me the most games and can be extremely frustrating. Other than those frustrations, I truly enjoy the game. The graphics are great, it requires a lot of thought in choosing you team, who best to place at each position, etc. it gives the free users the opportunity to play without commercials. I think the graphics are top notch and the new club league is unique and has created some unique and entertaining team dialogue. Immensely entertaining game and definitely recommend to all ages. Now for the “but”! I’m not certain if there are cheat codes out there, strange “glitches” that cause for extraordinarily annoying situations. For example, my batter hits the ball to the outfield for an easy double and as I turn the corner at 1st the play seems to “rewind” and the ball is fielded by the shortstop and he makes an amazingly fast relay to 1st and I’m out. That’s only one example but it seems as though it has gotten worse weekly over the last 6(?) months or so. And unfortunately it gets so irritating at times that I don’t play the game as often lately. ✓ Fantastic game... butThis game is fantastic! To be completely honest these graphics are pretty good. Theres very little lag when hitting or pitching. The games are fair to say the least in terms of difficulty (even having a great player card statistically won’t guarantee anything). It truly comes down to swing timing, pitch selection and location to hit the ball well. I have no issues with the hitting mechanics; I would like to see more home runs on balls that are hit in the gap instead. I feel like theres nothing much more I could do to hit the ball perfectly. The pitching mechanics are perfect in my opinion. The only serious thing that I believe should be updated are the base running mechanics. It is very difficult to have a successful rundown without completely psyching out the opposing fielding team to throwing to the wrong base. Once you are caught in between any base the send back and send forward buttons are slightly delayed and most of the time would not follow through with going back or forward if you're in a run down (If you change directions running the bases you're pretty much locked in until you reach the next base, terrible for rundowns being the baserunner). So let’s say, once I hit a foul ball down to first, it didn’t even say that it was a foul, I ended up losing the game just of a glitch and lost thirty four trophies. Also, I’m really sure that when it’s two outs, you can get home before the third out and get a run, but it just never happens. Some of my opponents are hacking, they somehow paused the game in the middle of the game. I was so annoyed. You hit a perfect ball right in the sweet spot with perfect timing and it just fumbles along the ground. I throw a pitch outside the zone and it’s going over the fence or it’s just a good hit. Throw outs from outfield to 1 is so stupid and shouldn’t be a thing. Barely see that happen in a real game. Low level AI’s shouldn’t hit consistently level 13 pitchers and Only swing at strikes. ✓ The game is great but I have some notesThe game overall is fun and addicting. But there’s somethings I’d like to address. A major update on player mechanics and gameplay are a must. As far as player mechanics. Certain players cover certain areas. What kills the game for me is that. My third baseman is running from a cut off to base when a player could be covering third and not wasting a potential out. The speed on player running to first base or any base in general. I literally had an opponent, hesitate a a throw to first and went to second and from second to first and my player still wasn’t on base??? How slow is my player? It doesn’t make sense at all how long it takes. Attention to detail can go a long way. Especially in this game that’s really good. You as a company or developer should really look into the mechanics of baseball and basically how it goes. I’m sure it’ll up the game better and have better turn over rate with your consumers.
