✓ The games are the only thing saving this appI love the brain games! Cross-math equations and sudoku. Yet the ads and glitches almost outweigh the pros. The ads are so long and glitch (and seem to be after every single game you complete). Plus when I pause the app to do other things, then go back, I have to start the whole puzzle over. (I tried using and not using the pause feature, not exiting from my most recents, everything, it’s just simply inconvenient)..Version: 2.5.0

✓ Really good game when it doesn’t crashThis is a really good Sudoku game but there’s two particular issues: - On nearly every game it slows down and becomes unusable, then about half the time the app crashes out. - When it does crash, or you come back to a game, if you were doing a game as part of a challenge that information is lost and completing the game doesn’t register that you have completed that level of the challenge. ✓ Here for Cross MathAs someone who loves math (to a point of majoring in it in college), I love the cross math portion of this app. People who keep saying the cross math puzzles don't add up, double-check your solutions. So far I've done 94 puzzles and never had any issues about the math not adding up. Only reason I'm not giving this a full five stars is that it tends to be slow on my phone and a lot of times I have to restart the app or pause and resume intermittently just because it keeps lagging when I try to solve the puzzles but the timer is working just fine (my competitive self doesn't like that lol). ------ 8/28 EDIT: Since the most recent update, my cross math time records for all levels except for levels 1-4 got wiped out. I'm talking about 102 frigging levels here. Cross math also became ridiculously easy as well. Oh and level 127 DOES have a math error and is keeping me from moving on to the next level. So this is where I stop playing, I guess. Not to mention the fact that the app still lags when played for more than a few minutes (either in cross math mode or sudoku mode)... Every time you pause the app you have to watch another video to restart, and the video are *long.* Sometimes they even override your sound settings. It's ridiculous. ✓ Ads hijack the app focusThe ads can gain focus with a jump to a web view without you touching or responding to any ads! It can happen repeatedly while you are playing. This behaves exactly like malware on a PC browser. I have used this app for many months and this only started happening recently. I have uninstalled this app and I suggest you all to do the same. ✓ Weird Ad Re-directAfter downloading the game and playing for about two minutes. I got an ad redirect that took me to my web browser saying that “Your Apple iPhone has been hacked. All operations on your device are being tracked by the hacker. Immediate action is required!” Not the kind of ads you wanna see, ever. Don’t know if developers and publishers can choose what ads show, but this is definitely gave me a scare and for that I’m staying away from free games. If you’re wondering on the ad links they were from,”adpredictiv.com”and then it took me to “linkthetrafficmedia.com”. ✓ Nevermind, ignore thisIf you make 3 mistakes it just throws away the puzzle you were working on and shoves a different one at you… why?! I’ve worked on two puzzles, and nearly completed both of them just for the game to say, “Oooo, looks like your struggling a little there. The timer continues and it “remembers” every move I make while waiting for it to start up again, But I sit and wait from a few seconds to more than five minutes! ✓ Ads, ads and more adsThe game is ok, I mean it’s standard sudoku, and it’s set up reasonably well. However, at times I have to watch an ad to start the game. Then if I want two free hints (which I try to avoid using, but if you’re playing at the harder end of what you can handle it’s not worth spending 10+ minutes double checking everything) you have to watch an ad. If you don’t and you need more then 1 hint you have to watch an ad each time. If you want the advanced notes, which I can do myself but am trying to save time on a time consuming, simple and boring task, you have to watch an ad. If that ad stuffs up, you don’t get the notes, and you have to watch another ad. If you accidentally hit the pause button trying to hit the top right square, you have to watch an ad to continue. If your phone rings, you have to watch an ad to continue. If you get a warning that your battery drops to 20% you have to watch an ad to continue. When you finish the game, you are rewarded by being forced to watch an ad. On easier games I’ve spent more time watching ads then playing the game. ✓ No explanations of how it worksI really wanted to love this game, because I enjoy playing sudoku & it has such a high rating from almost 40,000 people. The problem is that I could never really get started. I selected a number to put in a cell and it put that number in many cells. Does it automatically fill in that number everywhere it appears? Or was it presenting possible places for me to choose from? When using the notes feature, I put a number in a cell as a candidate (small number), then tapped another number to be another candidate for that same cell but it put that number (large) somewhere else. I suppose it had come out of the notes mode, but I don’t know why & there are no explanations of how these features work. Very disappointing. ✓ Loved it!!! Until…Definitely the friendliest user interface I’ve played with for sudokus. Then the past few days I’m having issues where ads don’t come up, which sounds good, but I mean it’s literally a black screen where if you click anywhere, the App Store does pop up for the ad it’s supposed to be showing, but I think this also means there’s no exit button (after 30s) since the screen is black. That means I can’t watch ads to access previous daily challenges, extra hints, advanced notes, etc. Outside of that, the only improvement I would suggest is maybe a slight change in tint for the background when you’re in notes mode. Its really the only way I make mistakes nowadays is that I forget that I’m not in notes mode since there’s not much of a noticeable difference when it’s toggled on and off..Version: 3.8.4

✓ Cross math doesn’t add upI started playing the cross math cause sudoku was just too repetitive. First few levels are fine, but once they try to add subtract multiply and/or divide 4 numbers majority of the time the answer is incorrect. I thought maybe it was just a couple puzzles, I was incorrect it is pretty much all of them. ✓ Fix the glitchI really liked this Sudoku app. I especially like how I can lock on a number to add it to the board, and switch right over to the next number without relocking. Now, when a certain ad pops up at the bottom (some Wizard of Oz game), the whole screen goes blank and I can’t continue the puzzle. I tried deleting and redownloading the app, but no dice. ✓ Why I’m dumping this app.1. Their idea of an award mid game is to give you a smiley face 😊 tell you to keep going whenever you clear a number off the board then immediately send you to a commercial. Commercials are fine between boards or if you make to many mistakes and want to stay in the game, but it’s just too much forcing them on you even when you’re doing well. 2. It doesn’t give you the option to make sure the choice you’ve chosen is the choice you actually intended to make, in other words if your finger is slightly too far too the left or right when selecting you get a mistake, and you only get two or it’s right back to a commercial. 3. Errors by AI rarely happen but sometimes you make the right selection and it’s marked a mistake. 4. Or you hit second chance and after watching the same commercial for the 500th time, it starts you all over instead of giving that second chance. ✓ Worst experience in a gameAfter 5 minutes in the game I couldn’t press anything without an AD appearing in full screen and automatically opening my app store. The ads would appear even if I do nothing, every 10 seconds or so, and after closing one, another would appear, making the game unplayable. I understand that games have to survive through ads, but EVERY other game would at least allow you to finish the level before selling you an ad, not this one though, where you can’t even breathe or blink without being fed a full screen AD. First; the ads that black the screen out except for the tiny ad box in the corner. Clicking on it doesn’t make it disappear. Restarting the app will give you maybe 5 seconds of game time before it happens again. And looking through other reviews, the developer claims to have addressed this issue. Second; when you *can* complete a puzzle, it usually auto plays an ad following it. With sound. Part of me uses this to help fall asleep because it’s a repetitive and monotonous activity, and nothing destroys that like an ad blaring garbage noise at you. And there’s no way to switch this off. Finally, most other apps I find have an ad removal free of $1, maybe $2. These guys want $8. Which might seem paltry to some, but by market comparison, it’s a huge markup. In conclusion, the sudoku on this app works fine, but the developer seems actively engaged in the most disruptive advertising practices possible to garner a profit..Version: 1.18.2

I am at level 235 and there are few games that have proved to be much of a challenge; I finish most games in less than a minute. The games where there are a number of problems that have alternative answers are the best as you have to think about more than one sum. ✓ Contrived “hints” force more ad watchingSeemingly fun and feature-rich at first, this app will frustrate you later on. In expert mode, it creates unsolvable puzzles that require you to watch ads for hints. These hints are complete nonsense. The first hint will fill in all of the notes for you. If one looks closely, you will see that there are notes for which there are no proofs. ✓ Insane LagThis game has to be mining bitcoin in the background or something. Have it open for more than 3 or 4 minutes and your phone will slow to a crawl until you fully close the app, pretty bonkers stuff. Granted, I’m on an iPhone 8 so might not be as big of a problem on newer phones. To clarify, I mean like 3 seconds of latency between pressing a button in the game and the input actually registering. After double tapping home button to close the app, I had a roughly 10 second wait of frozen phone until I was able to swipe up and fully close it, after which my phone was perfectly fine again. It’s not like my phone is in horrible condition and has lag problems elsewhere, this app is the sole occurrence for this issue. 0/10 do not recommend..Version: 2.7.0
✓ Ads interfereIt looks like a fun game but when I went to play, the ad running at the bottom of the screen blocked the numbers I needed to play and finish the game. ✓ Too Many AdsThis app is unbearable to navigate. There are so many ads. You get an ad before starting and after finishing every game. And the one you get after finishing a game occurs before the “Congrats” screen which just ruins the dopamine rush of successfully completing a game. It’s basically a punishment for playing. Additionally, sometimes if you take too long, an ad occurs mid-game and your app starts glitching out forcing you to close and reopen the app to which you are greeted with yet another ad. You also have to watch an ad for almost every feature as well (ie. Hint, Advanced Notes, extra lives), which I actually don’t find too bad — paying for convenience of certain features is understandable… Except that it’s the same 2-3 ads every time. ✓ Ads That Don’t Stop After 3 DaysI downloaded this app and loved it for 3 days. Great game and would play one ad after each game you completed, not a big deal at all. All of a sudden after 3 days every 20 seconds or so the screen goes completely black and there is a little game picture in the bottom left for about 30 seconds. There’s no way to close it but if you touch it the App Store pops up with the wizard of oz. After typing it into a app that will help you there was no solution. ✓ QuestionableI’ve tried at least 4 Sudoku games on my iPhone & this is the most annoying. Not only does the performance become more & more sluggish, but the “hints” are preposterous; they give you answers that could not possibly be worked out logically. There’s also a problem with the spacing of the candidate numbers, which has registered more “errors” than on any other Sudoku game I’ve played. (Eg you hit a 2 & it registers that you’ve hit an incorrect 1). Also, most times I’ve launched this, it selects “Expert” level by default. I play mostly at “Hard” level, as their “Expert” games can take me over 20 minutes to solve - and then only by guessing numbers or taking the dubious “hints”. Many so-called Hard games are actually at Expert level - the degree of difficulty varies widely within a classification. I’ve now deleted this game from my phone..Version: 1.18.0
✓ IT’S CHANGED 😢Have enjoyed this app for months now but recently it has changed. Now, we all know ads are a necessary evil of this world and I endured them in this app previously. But suddenly they have increased exponentially both in frequency AND length‼️.
