✓ DGN is getting betterThere’s been some ups and down but DGN is improving. The coverage is much better than post production. I can’t imagine calling myself a fan and wanting to watch jomez or anything but live for that matter. People we could see less of would be Zoey and Nate D. Both can be quite cringe. ✓ My reviewI am very happy w the product DGN is putting out. It’s getting very good. My suggestion are. Try a different combination of commentary. Try some new blood and some old school disc enthusiasts. They don’t have the hole that they are currently playing up all the time. I find myself looking all over the screen to see what hole they are on. There are many times during a broadcast when the commentary doesn’t know what is happening. They won’t know what throw or what happened to somebody’s disc. That would be the camera mans issue. I would like to see how far a throw was as well as how far they have left to the basket. I think the DGN is doing fantastic so far. These are minor issue to me. But to give it a 5/5 would need a few things yo happen 1st..Version: 6.300.1

✓ Great content, decent appI love the content. DGN changed the way I enjoy disc golf coverage forever. Everything is so much more hype than post production and baby Doss is my favorite commentator in the biz by far. That being said, there are definitely improvements that could be made. The app feels a bit clunky I would love a categories or collections/tournaments tab instead of trying to scroll and wait for each row to load and a 15sec skip interface would be great. Also it’s not regarding the app, but can we please get some 1080p live content?.Version: 6.120.1
✓ Great coverage for the growing sport!Despite all the folks who want to complain about every little thing wrong with the coverage, you have to remember that the DGN is not ESPN nor do they cover the NFL, MLS, NBA, or MLB. That being said, for the scope of this sport this coverage is the best live broadcasting in the business. Sure you pay a monthly subscription, but every dollar you spend here is going towards improving the broadcast, coverage, quality, commentary and more. How cool is it knowing that we are giving towards something that one day could become the next big live coverage sport! Sure you have post produced content which has only been getting better and better but live coverage is an art and I highly recommend contributing to a growing sport!.Version: 6.120.1

✓ Good app better disc golf coverageThis app is payed out weirdly and is missing a lot of content that could take it to another level. One thing would be a show on after round coverage. Maybe a weekly show highlight course around the country with guess stars joining the host at each course. As for actually enjoying a round of disc golf it is by far the best way to watch. ✓ DGNI have enjoyed getting most of my Disc Golf tournament content from DGN, however, I have one bit of constructive criticism, which I pray, will be clarified to the fullest. Some tournaments last year and I am sure this year DGN and it’s executives will have certain tournaments that will not be broadcasted on this network. While I do understand that we are wanting to grow the sport and get it out to the larger networks, you are cutting off your nose to spite your face, in a sense of parable. For those who have invested into the DGN content, make it viewable to those who have already paid for the content. I am sure there are legalities that will need to be established, but don’t throw those who support you and the network to the curb whenever you want to broadcast on a larger network. ESPN is not always the best network to broadcast the sport to larger audiences..Version: 7.205.5

Hiccups & stumbles happen, yet they are constantly growing and getting better. Years from now, there may be other options for live, and we’ll have DGN to thank (on the shoulders of Smashboxx & Disc Golf Planet), as well as Steve Dodge for getting DGPT started. ✓ Getting better all the time...I've had the Disc Golf Network streaming service for about a year now. The structure of the Live broadcasts has changed over time, and is much less boring. Occasionally, one can still see glitches in the video, due to signal strength issues from the field. And sometimes the layout of the venue doesn't allow decent coverage at all. But all that is understandable given the current level of technology from venues that are quite different from golf venues. I really like the addition of the commentary by Philo for the MPO and Elaine for the FPO. keep up the good work. :).Version: 7.001.1
✓ Live Disc Golf is now betterIf you’re a fan at all, it’s worth the small subscription fee. The DGN coverage is amazing now, compare to years past. Shot after shot across several cards, hardly any downtime filler. And don’t get me wrong, I love Jomez and Gatekeeper and still watch their coverage too, but the way this year has been going, post production covering one card at a time just doesn’t cut it. ✓ Love the Live Coverage!!Only reason I don’t give it a 5 ⭐️ is that there’s never any distance competitions, accurancy challenges or any other type of fun more personal type of games. OTB and GK Pro skins is in my opinion the best form of DG media out there. I know the DGPT holds themselves at a high standard of competition coverage (you guys are doing a great job at it!!!) but people want to get to know the players and feel like the players are truly just like the rest of us but just better at perfecting their craft at higher level. I just feel there may be some great media coverage being missed by not interacting more with the players off the course. I love what the DGPT has become and can’t wait to see where it goes because in the past 3 years it has done nothing short of impressing me ever season begining! Every weekend I look forward to watching some of the best players in the world compete to be the best! Coverage of FPO/MPO with great commentary from the greats like Elaine King, Philo Brathwaite, Nate Sexton and more!!! Best video and replay quality of all the best shots in the game every weekend. Coverage from Europe, and all across the United States. This sport had the big BOOM when Covid hit the world. No other sport grew as much as Disc Golf had, you could buy some discs for cheap with your stimulus check. Then play at one of the thousands of courses across the country for FREE!!! ✓ I have only 1 criticismIf I could change anything about DGN, it would be the start times of live coverage. I think the coverage should start on the second chase card. Last week’s coverage started pretty much the opposite because the coverage started with the lead card waiting to tee off on hole 3. If there wasn’t a wait time on that hole, we may not have had live coverage until hole 6ish. That’s all. Start earlier. DGN is doing great work..Version: 6.120.1

I really enjoyed watching Worlds this year, live and at my convenience if I missed anything! Good angles and shots considering the elements and limited internet coverage they encounter at times. I held back a star because it’s not quite professional quality yet. The spotty reception makes for unclear and glitchy streaming at times. When I Airplay from my laptop to my TV I have a lot of lag at times, however, I found that if I Airplay from my phone it’s much less laggy if that’s useful to anyone!.Version: 6.300.1

Love the shots of the players hanging out and the stuff that usually gets cut for produced videos. Their are still occasional issues with lags and technical problems but seems to be improving. Commentary is good overall and they're improving as they get more time to. I personally could have less chat over actual play. Between time needs filled I suppose but During active play there's Nothing Wrong with Quiet space in my opinion. The coverage of the European disc golfers has made me a fan of many of the players that have not made it to the states yet. We are learning about their culture and home courses at the same time. ✓ Live Disc GolfWhat can I say? It’s live disc golf. Every player who is even remotely interested in the pro scene have a subscription. It helps grow the media side of the sport and shows potential sponsors that the money is here. The UI and layout of the app is fantastic to boot. My one criticism is there is no double tapping the edges of the player to skip ahead or behind by a small amount like in other media platforms. Would be an easy feature to implement that would make my experience much better. That being said, I love the service and the footage/interviews/promos are very well done..Version: 5.304

I think the commentators are great folks, but do wish for a bit easier dialogue which I think will come with time. The connection and quality has been ok with sporadic issues. My largest complaint is that during this PPV coverage there are so many commercials. The app works well and outside of the somewhat non-intuitive interface it is a good solid app. One coverage improvement that could be made would be to either hire different announcers who talked less or strongly encourage the current announcers to simply watch more and say less..Version: 8.102.1
✓ Love DGN but…Great coverage and you can tell a ton of work goes into making it a great experience for the viewers. Love the drone shots too! That being said, what about those who can’t view it but still want to listen in? The commentary is designed for those who are watching. For example, while putting or a long drive there is silence. A little more play by play would be a great addition. Then when we are driving or at work and can’t watch we can still know what’s going on and be in the action. Additionally, just think how nice it would be for the visually impaired too. To hear how a disc soars through the air flexing and turning, air bouncing, then landing on a shallow approach skipping and sliding up to the basket. Exciting stuff!
