✓ Disappointed in VIPThe app is ok. It sometimes resets and forces you login again. My big problem is with their VIP program. Their Silver policy is that if you complete reading a novel before the end of the month, you have to wait till the first of the month to choose another novel. ✓ Offline reading doesn’t work anymoreApp was great until forced update. A lot of my reading is when I’m in a car with bad reception or in a plane. ✓ New Update NO GOODI have been a member of light novel and fond of ready them. Sometimes I like to read read the same book again, however, after the new update all the novels are required to be paid or use points to access the next page. Even the books you’ve read, you will only have the same access as any new reader. Once you start reading a novel and get to the free threshold, the system will automatically blocks you from continuing. You either have to wait “23 hours” to get access to 2 free pages or paid for it. It was free before and I loved it. Now it’s just a hassle to wait 23 hours because I didn’t spend any money..Love4Lif3Version: 1.4.6

✓ Used to be goodIn the past week or so, books that used to be free, now require Karma for every single chapter. In addition, the amount of Karma you can obtain a day is limited so this reduces your ability to binge read novels. ✓ Decent application, needs some workPretty much one of the best apps to read novels I’ve found. But definitely needs some work. The app crashes when you go to the VIP page through the app, closing and trying again doesn’t work, the app doesn’t allow me to go to any other page, just a white screen is displayed. ✓ Good, but lackingIt has a very basic layout, but the most frustrating thing is trying to search for a specific genre, the issue being 6th at you can’t. There’s nothing you can find in the search menu, trying to use the categories shown in the books doesn’t work, you can literally only search by Korean, Chinese, ongoing and completed. Otherwise you can search the name I guess, but trying to find a new book to read is very difficult, and what’s frustrating is that it wouldn’t take much. They already have genres integrated, and yet they cannot be used at all. Overall, it’s great if you know the exact book you want, but you might want to look elsewhere if you want to read something new..HeededShadowVersion: 1.1.3

✓ They are dropping the ballWhen I first started using this app it would allow you to read ongoing series freely except for “advance chapters” which would cost money Now due to newer changes ongoing series have more restrictions, meaning you only get one chapter a day for Korean series which isn’t bad if you are caught up since the fastest the series will release is generally one per day. But when I stop reading for a few days or even a few months, now I won’t be able to binge the series as easily. Overall this app on how easy it was to read the series was about equal to illegal websites, Like you could just binge. The cool things that set it apart were; an actual mobile app, not too many ads, not glitchy, and not pushing buying chapters in your face. And I know that these changes are due to them being bought out but I was hoping that I’d be able to read the ongoing series the same after the changes were over.Eah136Version: 1.4.0

✓ Turning into an Outdated Mobile Game for WhalesThis app used to be amazing, but recent changes in monetization lock all series behind a timer of 1 chapter per 24 hours. It’s super disruptive and makes it hard to get immersed in the stories. Further it’s the type of time from mobile games a decade ago where the timer for the next chapter doesn’t start until you open the new chapter. They are actively opposing flow states, which seems really stupid for a reading app, but here we are. My last gripe is when they implemented the system,you lost access to all the stories you were in the middle of. I have 3 stories I was trying to read. One thinks I need to wait 150 days (assuming perfect check-ins) to continue. Another wants me to wait 552 days. It’s just super user unfriendly.
