✓ Good, but unfairOkay so, I have no problem with the overall game, it’s fun and for whatever reason addicting, and doesn’t feel overly pay to win(it is a little, but it’s not the worst). However the time skips are broken, completely, the money one I think is mostly accurate, but the reform one isn’t even remotely close. So for my maxed out vladinstenko the 24hr time skip would give me 430 prisoners. 430. I get that in less than an hour. I actually did the math, per minute it’d be 11prisoners. Which is 15,970prisoners reformed it 24hrs. This isn’t online however it’s offline, so I believe it’s calculating for what you get when online which just isn’t fair imo for its cost, it should be changed and calculated for the offline value to make it worth the purchase since 430 reformed prisoners barely even makes a dent..Version: 2.6.3.1
✓ They know what they are doingI have played this game before when i had my old phone and i immediately downloaded on my new phone. It’s a type of game where you not forced to watch ads, the ads are there as an optional choice to earn extra money. Players can play the game without watching the ads. I love this aspect because it doesn’t take the players away from the actual game play. I think the character models are very cute and i enjoy watching them run around. No complaints.Version: 2.4.6
✓ Great gameThis is probably the best idle game you can get. You don’t have to watch ads every minute or every time you do a couple things. Well it’s not mandatory that you have to watch it, it’s an option to watch to get extra money. Which I personally enjoy because I don’t always want to watch ads. You can upgrade cells to max then stay off for a couple hours and come back to the game earning a lot of money which makes upgrading soooo easy. Only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is when I come back for being off for maybe 30 minutes the prisoners stress level is to the point where they’ll riot at any point. I think that’s kinda unfair if I have everything upgraded why would I come back to prisoners being very very stressed. Update: just came back on the game after 30 minutes of not playing and a riot happened and I LOST all 50 of my guards. Everything is upgraded I cannot upgrade anything so it doesn’t make sense to my why they would get stressed when I’m not actively on the game every 10 minutes..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Great game, needs improvementI’ve played this game for months now and I do love it. I have fully upgraded every single prison (5 prisons) with all staff and everything else. One thing that really really bothers me is that to upgrade “stuff” like cells, kitchens, workshops ect. I wish there was a way to collectively level everything for a cell or other place at one, it is tedious leveling each item in the workshop 50 times (50x7 workshop items). After abit more content and some upgrades this game would get a 5 star review from me..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Amazing (read plz )Absolutely great game for idle play but also while you play finished the game In 2 weeks and is amazing overall with how the system works and you take of of the prisons and the riot feature is cool although my one dissatisfied problem was the rehabilitate feature cuz I would finish a prison fully upgraded but I would have too wait a free days to get a new prison but I can see why it’s there . ✓ Is it meant to be like this or is this normal just askingHi so this game is AMAZING but no time for that I am just wondering if in the infamary these Deblfire things I’m currently at Willisom federal prison and are the deblofire things really like 28,000 and 36,000 dollars to upgrade just curious because I think that a little WAY to over priced to upgrade something except for the water and power stuff and new sectors cell modules and other things other than that this game is the BEST.Version: 1.0.3
✓ Best idle game I’ve ever playedIf not the best idle game, Prison Empire is my favorite by far. More in depth than most where you just tap with no consequences or strategy in mind. My only complaint is that you can’t zoom out very far which isn’t why I didn’t give this game 5 stars. Events seems very pay to win, if you don’t spend gems or money during an event, you struggle to reach even close to top 100 with most having scored a lot of points within the first few hours. If events were more balanced and less pay to win, this game would easily be a five star from me. There are little visual bugs and sometimes when you load in while an action is being carried, out like cooking from the chefs, it doesn’t progress no matter how far into the hour you are and enough food for all the prisoners doesn’t get cooked. Another one is when there are a lot of prisoners in line to get food, the line doesn’t carry out into the courtyard and some prisoners don’t get fed and remain angry until they do. This happens even with a maxed kitchen and lunchroom. The game could be polished more, but it’s still a great game to play if you’re bored and like idle games and want something different in that genre!.Version: 2.2.3
✓ I’m getting frustratedSo far this game is fair and fun to play looking forward to expand my prison but the only thing I hate so much while I spend $25k to built a new laundry room it takes 15 min with having 3 or 4 builders I put my phone down for a while to do things like clean or whatever around the house I come back to check on my laundry build and it says I have to pay $25k again and also wait 15 more min and I spend actual gems to built right away and it still does that please fix this because I’m in the point where I just wanna delete this app and I was looking forward to spend money. Btw just upgrade most of the things on the prison and as soon I close the app and reopened everything I worked so hard went back how it was like if I didn’t do anything gotta upgrade everything again this game is awful you developers need to fix this because it’s a waist of time putting in time and effort so when you play again it’s like you didn’t do anything I give this game a 1 star 😡.Version: 1.0.2
✓ Vladistenko BugI looooooove the game! I have a slight problem in the Vladistenko Penitentiary... All of my prisoners in one sector run to the cafeteria during meal time and despite having all of their meals prepared, only 2/3 of the sector’s prisoners can get in. A note saying “prisoners are not getting fed” shows up and my prisoners start getting mad, but all the seats are there and all the meals are there. Fix please! Other than that, I really love this game! Such a great way to pass time..Version: 2.2.1
✓ This is getting better! + idea for an updateHey the game is getting better now thanks to your creative updates and it’s fun in fact I have an idea for an update! I was thinking that there should be swats which are basically upgraded cops that usually guard outside so if any prisoner is trying to escape they would stop them and if there are riots then the swats would be 2x stronger as the normal guards and have shields to avoid getting hit! ✓ Actually rly enjoyableCompared to a lot of free idle games, this game does not force adverts down your thought. The only time you’ll have to watch an ad is if you want a little extra cash in your pocket. Over all, it is a rly fun and well crafted game. (I would recommend that for one night, you leave your phone turned on with this game on... when you see the amount of money you earn you’ll thank me!).Version: 1.1.2
✓ Prison empireEverything was going great, until the beach fortress level, where the game locked me out. Each time I tried I to get back into the game, it just keeps saying cannot connect to server. As you can imagine, I m disappointed, I can wait until the beach fortress level expires or uninstall. I have uninstalled it twice, and it still says the thing, so I’m guessing it a glitch on the designers end of things, be nice to have it fixed, so I can complete the game..Version: 2.5.7
✓ A few things...I absolutely love this game, the only problem with it is that you CONSTANTLY have to keep playing it unless your money goes way down. Here is what I would love in the next few updates: 1: weather because it is always day and night and nothing exiting happens there. If prisoners were to escape during thunderstorms and the power gets cut out in the prison then that would be nice. 2: warden control because of you see someone escaping or fighting then you can only just sit back and hope that a guard goes to save the day, and that is a bit frustrating. So I would like it that you can add a real expensive radio to the wardens office so you can control the guards and manipulate them to reduce accidents. The price to get this should be about 50 thousand for how good it is. 3: force a prison bus to come by, so you can pay the government money to force prisoners to your prison, if you have none. 1,000 money per prisoner on request. 4: make the caterers not make any food when there aren’t any prisoners to give the food to..Version: 0.9.3
✓ EnjoyableI am up to Alcatraz and the only thing im curious about is the first couple prisons. im guessing it will be a common theme, however the first few prisons are complete and other than the rehabilitation numbers increasing there is nothing to do in them. My money keeps piling up with nothing to use it on. Should be an update with the ability to expand on the completed prisons or the option to send the money somewhere else. ✓ Good game but there is a few bugs and glitchesI think that this game is great and has potential in it! I just need to state a few things. 1. The first thing that annoys me is that when my prisoners wake up the game lags me out ALL the time even though I have perfectly fine internet as my dad bought good internet a few weeks back then when I get back on the clothes that the janitors washed is depleted by more than half!?! 2. The time freezes sometimes. 3. Whenever I get back to the game after going to bed my prisoners are constantly mad for some reason.... apart from all of those bug I am happy to announce it’s a great game :D.Version: 1.2.1
✓ Should be 5*This game is great, bought to not get ads as this game is just so good with a lot of time to invest in it. However, the game is a bit buggy, sometimes the income doesn’t show the right amount that it should, either from when the prisoners come in, or when you have upgraded something. When you go off you could be met with a riot, the prisoners being unwell, it is a bit irritating, I think it’s due to the time in game that the prisoners might miss out on food or certain activity that makes them unhappy. ✓ Cool game but one problemThis game is really fun and I enjoy playing. The only problem i find is that when ever i leave the game for a while and then come back my prisoners start a riot. ✓ Great game just one bug and some recommendationsThis game is great! The reviews , graphics , and sound are all great! This game is the real deal! It’s exactly like building a prison but less miserable and dark. It’s all great except for one thing. When the prisoners are released a truck will come and give your new prisoners. This may be hard to explain but the truck doesn’t give me anything. As the prisoners leave the bus thinks they are still in the building and just leaves without giving me prisoners. (I know it may sound weird that I WANT prisoners but it’s a game 😁. Right?) I have to deal with losses and it aggressively takes away my money. I survive though :). This game is so great I just have to say again. I hope you guys make more tycoons and make them fun! Hope to show up on another tycoon game in the reviews soon! Edit: I just moved into the next prison and it is horrible! I don’t have enough cells to avoid losses and it’s just really bad. I keep having a negative paycheck and I’m at 0.00 dollars right now! ✓ Good but room for improvement!I was enjoying this game, more so than I usually do with these types of games. It is long winded to upgrade things and progress without buying the add-ons. I’m glad you have some opportunities to watch adverts for cash but these are limited. My frustration currently is what happens when I leave the game, I leave it all fine and good moods but when I come back the chefs have decided to not cook all the meals for some reason and/or the prisoners are all in a bad mood for no apparent reason. I didn’t have a riot at all then had 3 all recently and all when I’ve rejoined the game after a break. ✓ So far no complaintsI have been playing this game for around a few weeks now and I have run into no problem. I have played all previous games by these developers and deleted all of them so far because they got stale after a week. But with this game they put more pride into production and it shows. This has the same feel from their previous games, but now with better rewards and interesting upgrades to what is a not so childish setting. I love watching my prisoners go to play in the soccer fields and upgrading my armory to max level knowing my guards are stacked. And song with that this is probably the fastest game they’ve made for getting money. Once you get past the first prison and get the hang of how to build your prison up there’s no problem getting a prison fully maxed out in a couple days. I can’t wait for the next updates for new prisons and see what new fresh ideas they have for this game..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Some things to fixFun game, i play it frequently. As time goes on in a prison, between buying sectors the rate at which the prison expands plateau’s, often leaving me waiting to get more money to add few upgrades, i wish there were an additional cell block in each sector, more expensive, as to keep an increase in profits steadily. Another few bothersome things: - Sometimes i load up the game, or just check on my cooks, and they just decided not to prepare enough food for the prisoners; they usually finish cooking with time to spare, but on occasion, give up? - The rate at which new prisoners show up after rehabilitated prisoners exit leaves the player losing money for a while, making it feel like getting punished for succeeding. - At many times, it feels like the only way to progress the game is to watch ads, otherwise you have to wait extended periods of time; this would be fine if exiting the in-game ads didn't take • clicking the X, • closing the app store, • swiping down the mini app store, • clicking the X again, • being brought to another ad title screen, • and pressing the X again; making the ads frustrating to exit does not make me want the game, it inconveniences and bothers the user. Overall i want to say i enjoy your game, and i appreciate the effort and attention to detail added, there are just small little imperfections that detract from the overall experience..Version: 2.5.5
✓ I love the gameThis is a really well done game. I dislike the fact that you are unable to get higher security prisoners. I have gotten 150 prisoners rehabilitated and not a single medium prisoner has come in yet. Maybe I am doing something wrong. If that is the case could someone please contact me and offer me some help. In other words the game is very well polished. It is easy to see that this game was taken into consideration not just rushed to make the developers more money. There are no pop up ads only ads that you can choose to watch. ✓ Read the reviews...I saw an ad for this game and immediately started the download. The first 2 days were great. I made some in app purchases because I was having fun and wanted to support the company. After I finished upgrading the second prison, my game, like most people that play, stopped working and wouldn’t leave the loading screen. It’s been almost 16 hours since I’ve been able to load it up. I sent an email to the company asking for some help and haven’t heard anything back....yet. Hopefully we’ll all get some help or an update to fix this without taking away our progress. But for now, be aware. This game is a lot of fun and I hope that if you play it, it won’t bug out on you to. If/when I get a response back and my issue is resolved, I’ll update my rating. Until then, I can’t give a game more than 2 stars when my money just went to waste. Update: I uninstalled my game (for the fifth time) and my game loaded up pretty quick. ✓ Very balanced, amazing game!At the moment, I believe with the daily rewards and optional ads make this game absolutely amazing! Ads never pop up unexpectedly (though I have been guilty of watching several for reasonable rewards). This game isn’t easy, and like all good tycoons, takes a long time to finish, but you do make progress quickly (especially at the start) keeping the game entertaining. Riots make the game very interesting, and I love being able to watch my prisoners’ daily routines; you are able to see each individual prisoner. ✓ Truely an amazing gameThis game is by far my favorite game on my phone, its the only game i keep coming back to, the rating is a 4 instead of a 5 because theres some glitch or something, on my first prison i accidentally went to some sort of event, when i went back to the prison, i had a cell module that was there,i didnt buy, and my money had only grown from profits, none was missing, im now on my second prison, just a couple minutes ago, i was on it, but I went back to my first prison to see how much money I had made and see if any riots had happened and if I needed more guards or not, but when I went back to the second prison, an infirmary, I didn’t pay for, was there, money had only gone up, I just started this prison, the infirmiry is sorta expensive, it definitely is when you’ve first started, I didn’t even have enough money for it, the first time I thought maybe I had just accidentally bought it or something, but this time I know I didn’t, that’s the only problem! If I’ve got music playing when I do I can hear the music stutter as it crashes and shuts itself down. I really truly want to give this a five star review, and would gladly change it if I could get some assistance, but the FAQ and player support page on their website doesn’t exist, I got 404’d :/ I even went so far as to give money for the full purchasable staff about a month ago because I knew this was a game I’d like, I’ve even give up 20 dollars and nearly did so again recently and would have if not for the fact that these constant crashes stopped me literal seconds before I could. ✓ Amazing game except one big issuePrison empire tycoon is possibly the best tycoon game I’ve ever played. It’s so investing and I usually get bored by idle games because it feels like I don’t get involved enough, but this game is insanely good at removing that boring feeling. It has real strategy and watching your money change through the choices you make is very satisfying. Although there is so many good things to this game, the one thing that really annoys me is the food distribution. Whenever I log into the game during a meal time or I travel to a different prison during said meal time, the amount of food that the cooks are handing out glitch and reset back to a very low number. This affects my inmates stress levels and I always seem to struggle moving up in the prisons. If there was some way to fix this I would rate it 5 starts, but because if this issue it makes the game very frustrating and I have to close it and wait a little while before I can log back into the game because it screws with the prisoners stress levels. Other than that the game is very addicting and I can see myself playing for hours a day..Version: 2.5.7

✓ Good gameI’m enjoying this game, the only downside in my opinion is once you have levelled up everything in one prison, you just have money building up that you can’t use for anything. Maybe you could make some fun one off type things you could buy to keep your prisoners happy? Like a shipment of new books? Change food suppliers for better quality foods? Or I saw someone mention in another review having different services open to help with the rehabilitation process. Maybe random prisoners come in with additional needs (therapy, extra or different hospital needs?) and you have to pay a charge to get them the one of help that prisoner requires..Version: 1.1.3

✓ Won’t open now.It’s a really good game, maybe a bit slow at the start but now after this update when I open the game it crashes and I can’t get into it. Apart from this, it’s a very good game, obviously a few bugs, but then again this game isn’t that old. A suggestion would be to maybe at least let the offline earnings be 2 hours, as one hour is really not enough for when you’re sleeping etc and only get one hours worth of money. Again, a really good game but it is a bit boring, as all the prisoners do the same thing, all the workers and each day is the same etc. Apart from that it’s amazing and i’d give it 5 stars apart from the crashing and those things I mentioned :). I have 10 chefs and still they only make not even half the food required . Overall the game is good lots of fun. There’s not enough time for the prisoners to eat . ✓ Constant crasherEdit: Developers contacted me quite quickly after my first review and game was fixed through an update. Works perfectly fine and I’m back to being happy! A good game...for the two whole days it worked. Now all it does is crash upon opening. Updating, restarting, deleting and the reinstalling did nothing to rectify the problem. Contacting the developers is just as frustratingly difficult so I gave up after about an hour. Normally I wouldn’t bother posting a negative review but considering I spent $30 on in-game purchases & 2-day life span of the game, I’m willing to make the exception. ✓ Good game needs updateThe only reason I gave this game a 4 star and not a 5 is because of the bugs. It doesn’t always double my money even after I watch an ad for it. It does this quite often. Also if you are building something and you close the app, sometimes no progress will be made even if you are off for more than the allotted hour. It gets a little frustrating when the prisoners riot, it seems to happen every time I get on and honestly it’s a little ridiculous. How can the prisoners walk through whatever door they want? Isn’t this suppose to be a prison? And lastly the upgrade cost. It will take you forever at the later prisons you unlock to get money because it’s not always the same amount. It cost way too much to put in an infirmary, why is it more than 2 million??? Just some things that need improvement. On the plus side it’s still fun to play, to an extent. ✓ Fav game, but…I literally play this game all the time, but lately now there has been some bugs. I’m now on the 4th prison, and this is where the bugs have gotten bad. I have riots all the time and can’t make money anymore. I’ve upgraded the cells to the max and upgraded the showers to the max. Along with many things in the yard to the max. My janitors and chefs keep not making enough food or washing enough uniforms for them. Then they get mad and start riots. It’s really irritating because there’s nothing i can do to fix it. I’ve tried hiring more janitors and chefs and it does nothing, i’ve upgraded both the kitchen and laundry room to the max and it didn’t change. They just don’t do what they are supposed to do when they are supposed to be doing it. But...I absolutely love this game, I’m currently trying to complete the most recent updated prison (the cyber one) and its going great so far, but since said update my game has run into a few bugs, even after the bug fix update 2 days ago. In the second last pristine, trees and greenery from the yard is cutting through some of the prison cells, and in some prisons, I’ve noticed it most recently in the event prison, that riots happen even when I have 0 prisoners I also want to know does the golden key from the event challenge actually exist? ✓ LOVE but….I love this game but the amount of reformed prisoners needed to open the 4th prison is too much. To open the 3rd prison you only need 1,000 reformed prisoners yet to open the 4th you need 42,000. A huge jump! I understand how this can be achieved with the amount of potential prisoners in the 3rd prison but it feels impossible to expand the prison. Yes it is a strategy game but i have deleted and downloaded this game 4 times after weeks/months of trying to expand the 4th prison trying different ideas. I also have a few friends that play and they agree. I am great in the other prisons, the first is pretty simple and the second is the perfect mix of challenging and fun. Obviously, the next prison has to be harder but I feel like when creating the 3rd prison they added extreme inflation on all things. The prices would make sense if I made money like I did in the 2nd prison. I just wish there was a prison between the 2nd and 3rd because it is such a difficulty jump.Version: 2.5.7

✓ Just three problemsI’ve been obsessed with this game for the pass month or so but it would a god send if when the cafeteria was full that the prisoners waiting outside for their turn to eat or something because a lot of prisoners go hungry because the line is too long for them to stand on and the same thing for the showers, maybe they can stay in the bathroom and keep increasing their hygiene until it’s Max and ones it is they leave the room instead of just washing their hands once and leaving so everyone can stay clean. Lastly, when an activity started the prisoners sure quickly go to the location like for the workshops instead of a slowly walking because of that people also go hungry or don’t get exercise. ✓ Needs bug fixes and better scalingBugs. This game doesn’t have many, but has one very bad one. Although my prison is designed such that when I’m online, my prisoners needs are taken care of perfectly, *EVERY TIME* I come back online, if it was more than an hour, I have a riot. Fortunately I am good at strategy games and this one is no exception- focus on upgrading cells (except for light bulbs) and then the cafe and make sure everyone has a shower in the shower area. Lastly make sure everyone can eat and put decent work out equipment in the yard and voila, your prison works just fine. EXCEPT THIS DUMB GLITCH CAUSES RIOTS EVERY TIME I REJOIN!! Please fix this devs. One other thing. Prison busses need to either come more often (preferably every time your send a bunch out the door, a count down for the next bus would start) or you need to be able to upgrade the size of the busses that come. It’s really annoying because the only thing holding me back is ridiculously long periods of time between busses, in which I lose a lot of money. This game is difficult starting out- carefully working to stop early riots which hurt your funds a lot... and it’s quite fun once you get your basic prison situated and can start expanding rapidly!.Version: 2.2.2
✓ Move fasterMy issues...The prisoners do not move fast enough to get to the locations in time. Going to eat, many miss the window. For example if they are in the visiting area and have to go back to the cell than to eat. There is not enough time for that to happen, if they do manage they can’t eat as the line is to long to handle the whole sector of inmates. There is an issue with kitchen staff not making enough food, even with being fully upgraded. Also laundry doesn’t always finish the right number needed for new uniforms, with being fully upgraded. I’m on the 3rd prison and so far only have one and a half of my first sector filled and this is happening with everything upgraded fully...kitchen, laundry, prison yard, maintenance, waiting room, guard room, admission and infirmary. I don’t want to make anymore cells in this sector as they will not be able to finish each area which is an important part of the whole process to get them to leave and not be taken away or start a riot..Version: 2.1.0
✓ Some cool changesI love the concept of this game, I’m already on Alcatraz, the rubbish is a tad annoying, whenever my prisoners have rehabilitated and the bus is due it drives away without loading new prisoners which is lame,I would absolutely love to be able to change the schedule myself or change times, it’s annoying when not all my prisoners can get to the places in time cause of visiting hours or working. ✓ Good game but full of bugsSilly as it sounds but my wife and I started playing this a while ago, as a competition of sorts to see who could do the best. And we both thoroughly enjoyed playing it, it’s probably the best game I’ve played in a while to be honest. But for some reason it started glitching, the sound of the game would go funny and it crashed. Now lucky if it actually opens the game to play, despite deleting it reinstalling it, turning phone on/off. Nothing has managed to remedy the issue. ✓ Too expensive and the suitcases don’t give enough moneyAll of the things you buy are so expensive; water, the cafeteria, talking room, etc. When you start everything is so expensive and doesn’t really give you the motive to play. ✓ Pretty good, but pricey…I’m enjoying the game quite a bit, it seems to run well and doesn’t have any bugs so far, my only thoughts are that some of the in-app purchases seem a bit expensive, particularly simple ones such as ‘no ads’, or my experience with these sort of in an-app purchases is that regardless of what they say, they’re generally never “no ads” they are are usually more appropriately “reduced ads” as some ads still manage to get through. – Still it’s a quite decent game..Version: 2.5.1
✓ Great game but......Recently downloaded the game and am enjoying it. While the first couple of prisons are quick to finish, I quite enjoy the increase in timeframe to unlock further content. I believe it gives it a longer gaming life. Events are interesting and fun, and give occasionally give a competitive edge, where you are compared to others players and have access to more buildings and options at the cost of gems, but you can enjoy the game without these. There are a few small issues I have found while playing and one seems to be a common complaint. The game crashes constantly. Not every 5 minutes, but is constant enough that it is irritating. Losing the x2 income buff after switching to another prison and then coming back was annoying, but seems to either be resolved or working better now. My biggest issue is the way the game will use your gems instantly with no option to confirm spending. Twice now I have clicked on a new section to build, and after a few seconds without loading, I click on the screen again or press and hold my finger down, and if you are unlucky enough that you have pressed near the “complete now” button, you can kiss those gems goodbye. Even if you haven’t taken your finger off the screen and drag it to away from the button, the moment your finger comes off it registers the purchase. Please implement an option if possible that gives customers the option to confirm the usage of gems..Version: 2.2.1

✓ Overall great gameThis is a very well put together game. There are far more pros than cons. It isn’t full of ads which is a nice change. It seems to be balanced pretty well in my opinion. There are different methods and styles of playing. There are some minor glitches and quirks that can be frustrating at times, but it’s not a dealbreaker by any means. No game is perfect. I have spent some money on in app purchases (about $10-$15) but it’s not required for progression within the game. I have only 1 suggestion, and I hope the developers read this because it’s so minor, yet such a big deal. Please let us zoom all the way out and view our entire prison. It’s so frustrating being forced to be zoomed in so close to everything and it makes it annoying having to scroll around to everything. I don’t know anything about game development, but it shouldn’t be that difficult to allow us to zoom all the way out. That would make this game so much better and easier to find everything a lot quicker. Other than that, it’s a fantastic game and I can’t wait for the next update with the new prison! ✓ Really addictive time passerI really enjoy this game I bought the ad blocker and the starter pack love this game heaps just have a few recommendations 1.I’d like a free way to make cards or more free gems for completing tasks or maybe something to upgrade that create gems overtime I want to collect all the cards and the free way takes forever and I don’t want to spend to much money on cards as I want to play the game and work for them. 2. ✓ Meal timesI love this game and I like the fact you’ve got to be smart about money and what you buy it’s great. I’m on the Alcatraz prison right now and have bought all cells for them medium security prison so when all 56 prisoners go to get their meals, it takes too long for all of them and the last 7 prisoners at the back of the queue don’t get food and I’ve upgraded everything in the cafeteria to hope it speeds things up but it doesn’t, do you have any advice or is it the game and they don’t have enough time and it’s something you could fix? ✓ OverHaulI’ve played so many ‘Tycoon’ and ‘idle’ games before but this one is by far the best, it’s not even close. I find it quite hard to find a decent game, there’s so many pointless/low effort games made by developers but this one has a depth to the game It’s great. I love strategy games that’s my thing, it took me a little while to understand the pace of this game and the little things that really does make it unique. The Event Prison - is hardcore and even more challenging, the first couple of times it came around I failed so bad, but as of the most recent one, managed to do 40,000 Prisoners! (Also this review is taken into account watching a few short ads to get an advantage in game BY CHOICE not forced it just helps you.) I hope the developers continue this game, it could do so well. (Maybe add a tutorial on each subject like income, tax/salaries, Riots, etc.) just so it helps the people who struggle a bit. ✓ Pretty good Idle gameI’ve played a lot of idle games and this one not only has a good amount of content that’s accessible through playing the game and not just locked behind cash shop sort of boosts, but has good customer support. I mentioned to them about a bug and got an answer even at 4am when I sent it in at 1am. And they said they were aware of it and not even two days later an update comes out and sure enough it’s fixed!. So if your looking for a good idle game that has content that you WILL NOT be finished with in a week or possibly even a month then I’d definitely recommend this one. It’s not too hard to grasp and they have plenty of FAQ’s accessible right in the app should you find yourself confused about something. 7.5/10 not much I would suggest to improve aside from the crashes when you open the app. That’s really my only sticking point..Version: 2.3.2

When I open the app it takes me to the objectives section to say I have completed an objective. However this is an objective I have already completed. My only option is to claim the reward but when I click on this it says connection error and here my only option is to select accept… which takes me back to the objective screen. ✓ Awesome but.....I’ve only been playing for a couple days and it is very fun but slow and even worse the game hasn’t been saving. What i mean is that when I go off and come back the upgrades I had reset, like my prison cells were maxed but after coming back the other day guess what I saw? My upgrades reset a couple levels oh not only did my upgrades reset my released prisoners also were reset back to 22 Update: I managed to fix this by deleting the game and downloading it again. not only did this fix it the whole reseting stuff my my progress stayed with me. ✓ Amazing gameThis game is amazing to say the least, it’s challenging and not many idle games are challenging. I only have two real issues with the game; first and foremost: the riot system. Riots happen way to often even with maxed out amenities and almost every riot ends with guards being killed so you have to rehire guards. It’s annoying when you max out the guards gear and you still lose every one of your guards. It’s not realistic in that sense, because if there is a riot in a real life prison the guards usually respond with riot gear and not just their uniform and a nightstick, also there should be a function that you can pay for(WITH GAME MONEY AND NOT REAL WORLD MONEY) that enables you to knock all of your prisoners out with tear gas. The other issue I have with the game is the amount of offline collection you get standard, it should be 2 hours and not an hour. Update, I’m not sure how the money system is supposed to work. My hourly balance is positive yet when I log it I am in the negative. It’s happened for the last 3 times I’ve logged into the game. I don’t understand how that works...and if it keeps happening I’m absolutely going to delete the game and stop playing it. It’s getting annoying.Version: 2.2.7

However when I opened the game yesterday I got as far as the loading screen before it crashed, it does this every time I open the game... ✓ Love this game with only 2 exceptionsThis is one of my favorite games ! There are bugs here and there but those can easily be over looked i.e the patterns of workers and prisoners and the glitches that follow . But the biggest thing to irritate an ocd player like me is the VIEW we’re at an odd angle looking only a small part of our “empire “ not much of a view and it makes it a strain to have to scroll around a million times make the view more like your advertisement or at least give the option between the two that would be so amazing 5+++++++ stars at that point keep it up guys love your work !! ✓ Love it but....I absolutely love the idle games. And I have loved playing Prison Architect. So when I could play the Prison version of my favourite Idle games I was super excited. I love this version so much. It is absolutely brilliant. My ONLY bug bear is that when all the rehabilitated prisoners leave your compound, you don’t get new ones! The bus pulls up outside whilst the prisoners are leaving and quite often by the time it turns up, there are only 1 or 2 prisoners left. But the bus still drops nobody off!! It’s infuriating. ✓ Exceptional qualityI’ve looked at other reviews before making my own and most of the few complaints I saw from other reviewers were bugs and glitches that I thankfully haven’t had countered at all. I think the developers have since fixed them from when the reviews were made because from my experience this game is at the peak of what you can get from a mobile game. They don’t push ads down your throat, and in fact you can play the entire game without even watching any but that would make it a lot harder/longer. But I choose to watch multiple ads to support a company that doesn’t water the game down with them. The game has longevity to it and their design and attention to detail when it comes to the prisoners activities is spot on they act accordingly and overall the game just feels nice to just observe let alone play. ✓ Pretty addictive but I don’t understand 1 thingIf the prison is 100% everything purchased and upgraded and a riot breaks out I thing they should be able to get the riot under control. You should be able to purchase sufficient resources to handle anything. Whereas atm you can have a totally completed prison and a riot still is able to wipe out all your guards. The issue I’m having is I had a lot of objectives completed at one time all going fine collecting the diamonds as normal and then all of a sudden I’m being told I’m having connection issues. ✓ Still needs some workI’m sure just like other players I have spent money on this game too, I really do enjoy playing this and seeing how far along I can get. This is probably the longest I’ve been interested in a game because there is so much to do. Things like prisoners not getting fed, my kitchen is fully upgraded, my dining hall is fully upgraded and I have maxed out the number of cooks I can have yet my prisoners get to the dining hall and turn around walking out. There is enough food and enough seats and I have fully upgraded everything but they still walk out like the line is too long but I can’t do nothing about that as I said EVERYTHING IS FULLY UPGRADED. ✓ Prisoner Bus/Riots are bogusFun game my one issue is the drop off bus. Often times the drop off bus comes just after my prisoners are released, the prisoners have already left the prison and are no longer counted in the number but because they are still walking away from the prison even if already outside the gates I won’t get new prisoners off that bus it’ll just leave. It’s a bit annoying because if no one is taking up those empty prisoner slots I should get more. My second issue with the game are the riots. I can max out all of the guards equipment and facilities have max level of guards to like 12 prisoners and all my guards will die. I’ve lost 25 guards to only 10 prisoners and this guards were maxed up. Another thing if the best ways to prevent riots are to take care of prisoner needs it’s not fair if my prisoners need hygiene or comfort or something and they just don’t do anything to fix it. They just sit there letting their levels fall lower as if I don’t have the means already set up for them. It’s not fair that they constantly riot and I’ve already given them everything I possibly could. Like if you’re hungry eat!, but no they will stay in the yard playing till at least half of the eating time is used up or worse the cooking staff for no reason I can see just didn’t prepare any food..Version: 2.5
✓ Super fun gameThis game is challenging and entertaining, the animations are fun to watch; I love that you can see all the staff and prisoners doing their thing in the prison. There can be a few little glitches but it doesn’t really affect gameplay. The only problem with this is that you have to manually update the game and it will not let you play if you are behind on any updates. I need a password to update this and I usually don’t have the time to do it and therefore can’t play for possibly months on end. This game is still so fun though and I love all the seasonal changes and challenges in the game. AND (best part) the game doesn’t force any ads, they are all optional. Love this..Version: 2.701

✓ Brilliant game BUT fails to load after you close the appI completed the first prison and closed the app and went to bed when I returned to the game the next day it failed to load, it starts up and instantly closed itself down. Plz fix other then that perfect game. FYI for those having the same problem the only way I can manage to solve this issue is uninstall the game (assuming you’ve used game centre to save your progress) then restart/turn off and on your device again then reinstall the game and your offline progress will still be carried over and you can pick up where you left off.Version: 1.2.0
✓ New STUFF!I love this game so much! But the thing is that once I got the second prison the first prison was useless except racking up money because I maxed it out. ✓ Good but..Really good game, nice pacing it’s really fun! The only thing I’ve noticed is just a few pointless upgrades like the infirmary and the laundry. Not once has anything happened that required the infirmary and it’s so expensive to get. It would be better if there were random events that caused it to be used. With the laundry, it’s a nice feature but when cleaning and placing the clothes why do all of the janitors need to help? Surely only enough people are needed to do it and the others should carry on cleaning (otherwise they are stood around). As soon as you get the laundry room a lot of the night is spent doing that which leaves the prison dirtier..Version: 2.2.7
✓ Fix the bugsVery fun game! But when it comes to watching ads to get a bonus amount of cash or to extend a X2 bonus for money increase for an extended amount of time…… you won’t get them. You’ll watch the ad and then the game resets like you never watched anything which is super frustrating because hey why watch ads for nothing right? Other than that the game is very fun and still needs some work. You can have your kitchen and cafeteria maxed with workers and all and prisoners will still go hungry which is dumb because you have everything. When starting a new prison or going to the next level per say….. you need to start out with a certain amount of cash or already positive income for prisoners already there. The way it is now makes it to where you buy one thing and put the game down for a while then come back and buy 2 more things then put the game down and so on. ✓ Tidy little app gameFor a basic game, the concept is amazing! I’ve played a few times over the years and completed all levels once before. I like that you can chose to watch adds and are not forced to. I delete games as soon as theirs too many adds. This game makes me happy to buy things from time to time as I feel I have more of a choice and their not just interested in a quick buck. It’s great to play and kill some time when I’m free. Some tips: 1. Delete all your staff to save money when you start up a new prison - yea you will get riots but just check back every four hours, you’ll still accumulate money and not have to pay staff! 2. The kitchen doesn’t work when you check in so if you do and you notice theirs no food for prisoners, wait one cycle until it’s their meal time again before you check out. 3. Don’t bother with the work shops to earn money. It takes longer but you will get constant riots as they get too tired after working in a shop. Just be patient and watch some adds and earn those dollas! 4. Buy the 2x money app. It’s honestly worth it. Happy playing!.Version: 2.5.8.1
✓ Love the game...Updated review: they seem to have fixed the issue mentioned below pretty quickly! I still LOVE the game. I’m sad I missed out on so much of iron fortress, however, I’m grateful to have my game back! There are still a few bugs that need to be fixed but nothing that affects the gameplay too much. I enjoy it, it’s technically not an “idle” game you can only collect one hour outside of the game unless you pay for more. Old review: Well, I LOVED this game before yesterday. Yesterday the app started crashing. I can’t even get it open up. The loading screen crashes. Otherwise I’d give this game a 4/5 stars. But the fact that one update ago I was able to play and now it’s completely broken and has yet to be addressed or fixed is ridiculous. I give it a 1 star because I cannot give it a zero star or else I would. I’ve tried updating my phone, didn’t work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, didn’t work. I force closed all my background apps, still didn’t work. It’s definitely not on my end. I’m hoping this gets to someone because the link to report issues with the game is broken. ✓ Two2x times money and prisoner checks not workingLove this game Love everything about it than we think but I’m not sure what’s happening and it didn’t happen before when I had the game like a year ago was it seems like the watch an ad to get double time is your money for a certain amount of time after a while it’ll just stop like it’ll just keep circling and circling and I won’t get any of like the prisoner check things you get every once in a while to watch an ad for I don’t know why I keep having to delete the game and then it like reset it but I’m worried if I keep deleting it it’ll just delete all my work I’ve done so not sure why that’s happening I waited while it was loading for an hour and still nothing came up to watch the video every time I delete it ends up working but I don’t wanna keep doing I’m not sure what’s happening please help. ✓ Great game, a bit slow thoughThis is a really fun game, it will take a while, but it’s great overall. There is one problem though, and that’s with a lot of idle games like this. I’ve seen many people complain, it’s because every time you complete a level, you move to the next, in a better place, but you start from scratch!? It takes a long time to get back to where you were on the level before and that’s a waste of time. I think you could make this game a whole lot better, along with all your other one with this, by making more maps, and you can keep the earnings from the previous level to use on the next..Version: 2.2.3
✓ Loading IssuesThe game won’t load. It’s a blank screen 4 out of the 6 times I try to open it and one other time it’s a loading screen but it won’t load. The music works so it is registering that I did open the app. The 6th time or so it actually works. Maybe.. But I come back an hour later and it does the exact same thing. This wouldn’t be so frustrating if it only happened once or twice that I have to restart the app, but it’s been at least 6 times each and it’s becoming intolerable. Other than that, the game is really unique compared to other idle games because of all of the extra components that go into it. For example: there is more to upgrade than just 2 parts to a cell and the electricity and water. There are bathrooms, radios, TVs, beds, etc. A lot more detail as well! That’s why I’m sticking with the game. That and I have nothing better to do at this moment haha. I do really enjoy this game. ✓ Enjoyable but needs more contentI’ve played this for about a week, I’m up to the end of the second prison and I’ve enjoyed everything so far. However, once the prisons are fully upgraded there’s nothing left to do but sit around and wait to reach the required number of reformed prisoners to open the next prison. I’ve got millions of dollars but nothing to spend it on. I’d like to be able to reinvest the money back into the prisoners, would bring an RPG element to the game as a warden who actually cares about their prisoners beyond just giving them nice rooms to live in..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Prison Tycoon was fun but..There’s a few problems: When I come back after being gone for a while, my prisoners end up rioting. Even though their cells are fully upgraded and there’s the maximum amount of prison guards and cooks available. But for some reason, they will still riot after I’ve been gone for a while. Also, it does get to a point where you’re just sitting around for ages waiting for prisoners to be rehabilitated (boring)! But good game other than those issues..Version: 1.0.2
✓ S TIER GAME‼️I first played this when it came out. I played all throughout quarantine spending a couple of dollars on the game as well. As another review had mentioned it is very interesting and compelling for an idle game and I love idle tycoon games and most of them I do eventually get bored with as it seems to just spiral off into you trying to amass a huge and unfathomable amount of money, but with this game, this game right here. During quarantine I completed every level and everything it was done and I was really upset because there were no new levels for me to do. so I had Deleted it cuz I was just sitting here waiting for new levels to come out. Then one day and I downloaded it again and I am on the last three levels one of them almost complete. The other two Im loving how I have to strategize, and you know not just get as many prisoners as I can, balance my cash flow and employee rate and try and still keep the prisoners happy so they’re not rioting and making me lose money but yes amazing game I love it I want more levels please please please please please, pretty please‼️‼️.Version: 2.5.7
✓ Have been hooked on this game all week!What a fantastic game! Really fun to play! I would love to see more hardcore criminals in the game. Give us a guard dog to sniff out drugs from outside visitors. Allow us (when we’re playing) to investigate certain cells who we may suspect are trying to escape. Perhaps we notice an unfamiliar object in their cell. Allow us to conduct random inspections on cells if we receive a clue/ anonymous tip from someone trying to sneak weapons/drugs in. Perhaps a few guards may start to take bribes from the prisoners. Let us carefully watch them. Perhaps incorporate gangs that start fights with other gangs..Version: 1.1.3
✓ Great game and fast developer responseSuddenly started getting rewards in a scoop and then the game keeps saying cannot connect! Very strange and even after closing the re-Dow loading the game it does not work. UPDATE: After writing this review and emailing I had a very fast response from the developer that they have released a fix for my issue. The game was then enjoyable again so on that basis I would definitely recommend playing the game but also would not worry if you encounter any issues as the developer actually responds and fixes issues unlike some games..Version: 2.5.7
✓ UPDATE FIXES ISSUEThis is an idle game done right. It is addictive, and seeing my prison grow and prisoners going about a daily routine whilst janitors cleanup, and guards go about patrolling (breaking up fights, taking prisoners to the doctor, breaking up riots etc) is so pleasing. It’s the first idle game I’ve spent more than a few hours on, and I’m now up to my 4th prison. By the way, all the prisons that you unlock can be returned to at any time, with progress still occurring there. This reminds me a little of prison planner on pc (obviously not as in depth), like a lite version of it. ***The new update has fixed the issue where the game would crash upon loading. I have purchased the ad blocker which was inactive in the new update, but a handy ‘restore purchases’ in the settings brought it back in seconds. Well done Developers for fixing this within a few days! This is the kind of developer that we need more of for these kind of apps.
