✓ Steals your moneyI have been enjoying this game and spent money on the credits. I went to purchase some buildings but as I didn’t have the resources, I used the credits I had. It didn’t begin building the selected building, and didn’t remove my credits. So I tried again. Nothing. I tried 3 more times. I went back to the main menu to load the selected game back up, and guess what, I went from having over 4,200 credits to 28 credits. The game took the credits out my account, but did not allow me to even build the selected item I wanted! I have tried contacting the games Twitter account, to no reply, and have no other way to contact the developers. Yes, it’s only worth £2.99 of credits, but I am not happy whatsoever. Charge for credits and then take them for no return. I expect a reply from the developers and my credits back..Version: 0.66

✓ Way too much pay too winIt seems to me that to be able to have a decent playing experience you need to spend hundreds of $ irl to buy gold. As other people have mentioned it takes 1000 gold ($1 irl) to speed up 12 hours, while building a basic infantry unit takes 24 hours. Even on a 4x server it’s an insane amount of time to wait. ✓ The game is great ButThe game is really fun and a lot like call of wars in some ways the biggest issue is almost eveything you build in the game requires goods:supplies the green crate resource and it’s really annoying and limits you so much in the game as you will have over 10k of every resource except that one and will struggle to stay ahead if you don’t invade and annex more of those city that produce it but oh wait to annex a city you will need at least 3k goods! Trying to build a factory to get more? Need more goods to build it!? It can be very frustrating otherwise the only other huge issue is bigger coutrines not having more cities or a edge over a small African nation the playing field is too even and balanced personally call of war did it alot better where some countries will just have way better economy then other or bigger starting armies ext otherwise game is great if bytro you can plz at least fix the goods issue and everything costing it would be a much better and great game! You try to do something and it says “you have to buy Security Council membership” to do this, so you spend your money, try again, and GET THE SAME MESSAGE. Try to contact them but you get nothing. Purchase some gold for my son and on numerous occasions he used it to speed a build up but then suddenly the building wasn’t there, just as it finished, it disappears, and his gold with it. There’s not much money about these days, but sometimes you want to do something nice for your kids, you know? Don’t do that in this game. Do not bother with this, but if you do, don’t give them a penny, no matter what they offer you - that offer will be blatantly false advertising/misleading information specifically designed to steal your money. ✓ OkFor the most part I give the game high marks. It combines the game stylus of Risk with a game like good game empires. It is similar to Setters of Catan with the cities and knights expansion. however. There is one thing this game lacks. The ability to surrender provinces and cities. After a little digging I found this feature was shut down cause of “abusive actions” to this feature. Such an excuse is unacceptable for a true war game. If players were heavily using this game it means they understood that strait war is Not the only answer to expanding domaine but back room deals and subterfuge is just as important as to countries dueling it out. And what are we supposed to do when to countries in one coalition are attacking the same country? When the war is over and it is agreed that only one of the coalition members should keep all the land is the other supposed to leave the coalition so the first guy can capture the land in a needless war? This is a big downgrade from true strategy gaming. Also the ability to share rss between Allie’s is nonexistent as wells. In short the whole purpose of coalitions or alliances is made mute by the lack of alliance support and help. So if you are playing as a solo player you will do fine. But if you like fighting with friends or comrades then this isn’t the game for you..Version: 0.120
✓ Pretty slow and one major unfair advantageSo I’ve been playing for about 3 days now. One of the major issues I’ve noticed with a long term multiplayer game is the sleep advantage. I’m playing as New York and Maine is trying to slaughter me. No big deal for the most part I have better output then they do. However I can tell we have separate sleeping schedules. Because while I was asleep Maine launched multiple barages against my cities which left me somewhat crippled everytime I woke up. Even during the day the player is still launching attacks though I can counter them. I think if a player is offline for a certain amount of time they should have some sort of offline protection wether full or maybe just minor protection. And if the player doesn’t come back after a certain amount of time that protection was activated it can go off again. I just don’t think it’s particularly fair that all someone has to do is wait till I’m asleep to do some heavy damage to me no matter what troops or placements I have and vice versa..Version: 0.120
✓ Call Of War is betterCall of war is still superior because of the bigger player base, less lag and overall better graphics. Making a new game that just makes the graphics different but still has the exact same features of the old game doesn’t make a game good. If you don’t know what I mean then imagine making a. building out of brick, everybody loves it. Then try making the exact same building but with metal instead of brick, everybody loves it until they realise it’s exactly the same. That is what I’m saying they need to make the game new. At few ideas are to add more differences, more regiments, better organisation and make the game not based on spending money on gold. Call of War still has its problems but that is because every game has issues. Call of war is generally more fun to play and easier, the map is also way better. If it’s workingAbsolutely love this game, but every 30 seconds I’m getting disconnected from the game and it kicks me out of the app. I’ve tried restarting my phone, uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, checked for updates none of its working. I’m at the point where I can’t even set my provinces to mobilize guys because it kicks me out the second I get into the menus. Once this bug is fixed I will be giving a 5 star. ✓ INSULTING ADVERTISINGI was going about my day when I stumbled across this company promoting their game on TikTok. I started watching and noticed the person reading of the ad script say that he has begun war on Australia. (I live in Melbourne btw). Now I had no problem with this until he started making insulting jokes regarding the entire oceanic region, saying he loves New Zealand because his favourite fruit is kiwi and that the only people fighting back in Sydney are kangaroos and that was only 2 “jokes”. They then continue to do the same thing but with other people from other countries like India. To some people it is funny but to others, it is just insulting and the developers should have put more consideration into their advertising. never wanted a game less in my entire life. ✓ Great Game But Pay To WinI love this game. It’s the only mobile game I currently play but you can also switch to PC. I’ve also gotten a great knowledge of geography of the world which has helped me in real life. It’s definitely tuff at first and if you want to succeed you definitely got to be active on the game and communicate with ally’s to work together. Now the reason I gave the game 3 stars even tho it’s my favorite game at the moment. You can pay to win the game. The gold system in the game allows you to insta build, heal units and among other things. You also have security council which lets you keep elite units. I’ve had plenty of instances where I dominant a game but then there’s one player that golds to have an unfair advantage and has lost me games that I should have won. I’m sure you can see how that can be quite frustrating. It’s also shoved in your face to buy gold every time you open the game which is annoying. (Developer note) I get it, make your money. Improve the game and keep servers open. Security Council is great for that, the Golding not so much. My suggestion is maybe limit to what you can do with the gold so it’s not so unfair at time. Another ideal for micro transactions is something like skins for units and such, that it doesn’t affect the gameplay but give more options to players and you guys make money. The single effect that money plays is unparalleled, at times even alliances will be determined by how much you’re willing to spend. Have photo proof. There’s no way to even the playing field if you don’t spend, but to match spending for a game that may last 2 weeks to a month if you win. With money converted to gold, units can be created instantly, research done instantly, bases built instantly, all that would take double digit hours or days to complete. Again can’t be offset other than spending. 12$ can move anyone at least a week ahead within 2 days. Spend or don’t play, the free to play is a scam. The major problem with this game is the glacial speed at which everything moves (e.g. 1-3 days to research a technology or 23 hours to build something). And I bought 40,000 gold for £8.99 so I could speed things up and buy petrol, cash and other items (which you constantly run out of so you can’t build anything). And guess what, the 40,000 gold lasted less than 24 hours. Absolute rip off of a game. I’ve bought similar packs on other games and it’s lasted a month of being able to get ahead, speed up odd buildings, buy soldiers and so on. Not with this. My 40,000 bought me a couple of level 1 buildings, 3-4 technologies and a few other bits and all gone. No benefit to spending money in the game as hardly any movement forward. It’s in the developers best interest to try and force feed you “deals” for buying their in-game currencies and resources. This entire game is a huge money-sinking scam, and the invested players are shelling out hundreds of dollars, going straight to the developers, who, at times, actively make the game worse. They accept opinions and feedback, but only as a check-valve for the developers to make them seem like they care about the player base. Anyone who’s been on the forums, spoken to each other in-game, or has played for at least a month knows that the developers are only interested in getting you hooked on a multi-week long game so that it’s more likely you’ll spend money. Super time consuming game, so if you want to have a life you will have to buy the security counsel subscription, otherwise every time you want to do something you’ll have to log back into the game every few hours. People take this game incredibly serious as well. You have player who are wanting you to spend money/inordinate amounts of time off the game and “checking in” to discord servers and other such social media. ✓ Odd managementThis game is really good, but there’s been some really odd choices with integral features. My main issue is that a lot of modes (particularly 4x) are really difficult to play. It seems like they rotate, where a bunch of games of a certain mode are created, and after that absolutely nothing for an indefinite amount of time. You’d think making sure people can actually play the modes they want would be high priority. Second thing, less a problem and more a potential improvement, allowing the modification of scenarios. For example, after playing mostly WWIII, I joined an Overkill game for the first time. The Overkill mode has a much better and more complete world map than WWIII, which is great, but then with out of the blue modifications like 3 space coalitions and victory locations or whatever they are. I think allowing slight modification of these features (maybe restricted to high level players or something) would make the game a lot more fun to play.Version: 0.125

Literally the game is centered around spending gold and buying premium, which give you more stuff in the games than if you don’t. What you get for winning barely gets you 2 speed ups, which let you instantaneously produce, build, or research things. The strategy is very minimal, only lying in what you produce and how much of it, which ties back into spending real money to speed it up. I have never bought anything in this game, and never will because it’s the equivalent of buying a gun in the middle of a Battle Royale game match and not getting to use it after the round, yet without spending you fall so far behind everyone else, and even when I was in an alliance with someone who did spend a bit they literally got beat by someone who just spent more. Iigerally I know a roblox game that isn’t pay to win and has more strategy in it(The Conquerors 3, but it’s only compatible on PC). I don’t advise this as a strategy games. Including but not limited to my levels, and the games i was in, however i kept the user. I would have accepted this though and had found a newly started game to join. But when i joined keeping in mind the fact that i had only started 1 new game yesterday prior to signing out, it said i had joined to many. So i lost my level, my current games (which where going well) and stats (how many places i had taken/ lost etc). And on top of this proceeded to not be able to join a freshly started game (with no ranking requirements so that was not the reason) and at least for all of this get a nation that i wanted. You need to be online 20 hours per day to move your army around before getting crushed by the rich. They attack all your cities with just a few soldiers or anything that can cause you problems to force you buy more gold. After the new update, refuelling of aircrafts takes ages. One single fighter can attack an empty land and hit your armored units in one province, fighters in another province, and choppers flying on the sea far far away. How? It’s just a bug! In the game I am playing in the local insurgents currently have claimed back 19 cities - 17 of which are from me!! This is despite me conquering quite a few again. Other nations of a similar strength to me aren’t being affected the same and it means I’m wasting time and troops claiming these back, as well as missing out on the resources from these cities that other players aren’t having to worry about and gaining a massive advantage..Version: 0.150

This is only a game of Skill until you understand how to play but once you get it you notice that the one dropping the most dollato always win. One might ask how is this possible? Well it's because not only can you buy all of your research with cash you can also buy it instantly I.e. speed up and not only buy units instantly you can also instant build your buildings. In some games you will see people build up all level 5 by Day 1 or 2. This is something that takes us plebs weeks to accomplish. Oh and the broken part that the sort by list for the cities is broken again. So when you sort the 100+ cities you have to try and manage them for example by resource which is critical in assisting where you need to build and where you don't. Don't get me wrong if they removed the Gold from the game and just had The small security council buffs it wouldn't be so bad. It’s brags being realistic and simulation however Field artillery (just howitzers on there own no AA or SAM protection) can destroy fighter jets which travel over 1000mph in the real world. Awesome map concept and decent graphics but players generally leave game within the first 15/20 days as they get bored. Alliances are useless, no one helps each other. Totally unfair concept especially if you’re playing a country who is not connected to Europe. Players who are dominating countries controlled by other players who have gone inactive should NOT be accredited with points!! Makes the game totally pointless. If games gets to this point it should be the territories of the remaining countries up for points grabbing, a ‘final show down’ between nations (sudden death). Pretty disappointing developers, read all your steam updates and you seem genuinely committed but sorry, I feel it’s a cash grab. ✓ Don’t play if you have friendsGreat game, I played it and loved it however o recently got banned due to the anti-cheat system banning me for not cheating. I downloaded this game and loved from the beginning. I liked it so much I invited my friend to join and we played together for weeks. Then one day we both received a message saying that the anti-cheat system detected us using the same wifi. Since then we had been careful not to use the same wifi when we play. However just the other day my friend visited me. Unknown to me he logged in and when I did I got the anti-cheat message. Okay no big deal I’ll wait till he leaves. He leaves and I get the message again. That’s my second warning. I put my phone down and I waited a few days. I tried logging in again at my own house and I got banned for my third warning. Because my friend visited me I was no longer allowed to join the game from my own house. The only way I can get my account back is if I decide to pay 5 bucks a month for premium so I can get around the anti-cheat. I have lost my account that I have spent hours on I was in the middle of a game on its 25th day and it all means nothing now. If I could get a refund on the time I’ve spent on this game. ✓ Gold IssueI was someone who spent too much on gold and found myself doing it because I’d spend days, weeks, months setting up a defense or attack and being thrown off. So I decided to come back and play with a council subscription because I felt the developers deserve to make money. But I find the gameplay is fun but there are too many games where a wildcard gold spender ruins my effort and now I see the other side. They need to fix the structure of gold use or allow council members access to games where gold isn’t allowed if we pay for a subscription. I recently spent weeks building up a small nation and focused on destroyers and finally caught a large nation off guard only to see 5 cruisers instant spawn and take me out because they spent $100 on gold and were upset I caught them off guard. I spent weeks of my life to essentially be beaten by someone with money. I’d happily pay 300 of year to avoid crap like that. I lost sleep over this game and for that to happen, you need a better structure where skill (not money) can get you out of it. I wouldn’t be as upset if they player beat me outright but you guys only seem to care about gold spenders which I used to be and tried not to but still get screwed.Version: 0.125
✓ Game’s to glitchy and Poor Customer Support but has good potentialI have been playing this game for a few years now and have been putting up with it continuously crashing and glitching because the idea is good and it is the only good game set in this era. Not only that but it now hasn’t allowed me to log in for around a month and I’m starting to get frustrated because I’ve poured quite a lot of my free time into this game for it to just kick me and many other people out with no warning or support to fix the issue. ✓ The game is decent nothing specialThis game reminds me of Rise of Nations only that rise of nations is better and free. They try to influence you soo much to make in app purchases it’s ridiculous. Countries can war you whenever they want there is no such thing as justification in this game. So if you’re just chilling developing you can be declared on at any moment. The game needs to implement a war justification where before you can even go to war you have to justify on the country that way both parties know that they’re about to go to war and can prepare. Instead the game lets it play as a free for all when anyone can attack you at any given time which makes no sense and ruins the game. The coalitions shouldn’t be allowed honestly it should just be fair 1v1’s throughout the whole game. Not sure if I’m going to play this game anymore it’s just a cash cow and it takes FOREVER just to get anything done in game. You literally have to wait days just to build a building or units (army) which is ridiculous. It’s way too timely, way too pricey, and way too bugged and needs to be fixed. ✓ The installed game changed right at a critical momentI installed Conflict of Nations on my phone. Immediately i started getting emails and in game ads for a different game Supremacy 1914. Not really keen on ww1 stuff so ignored. Then right in the middle of my first global victory my installed fame changed to supremacy1914. ✓ A real reviewI’m not sure about the other reviews about this game, I assume they are fake or paid for, my advice DO NOT DOWNLOAD. This game is a waste of time and not in a good way. This game seems enjoyable to start with but you’ll soon find constant crashing ruins any enjoyment. If you persevere through the crashes you’ll have to contend with other bugs including disappearing troops (after waiting 18 hours for them to build), unrealistic travel times (8 hours to fly Rome to Budapest ?!) to name a few. If you think these bugs/glitches will be fixed don’t hold your breath, the “report bug” button is greyed out with “coming soon”... The gameplay itself is a good concept but the graphic are poor, I think there was better on the Spectrum! However there are an increasing amount of bugs and the app seems to constantly have reset due to lag. Now during a game my two key cities appear to have been disabled so I cannot produce any units. The flag of an enemy is also different to the notification so the flag shows UK but the notification states that the unit is German. The customer service bot is completely useless. It’s so hard to earn gold in this game, and that little gold could be gone in a second because you click somewhere by accident (sometimes I even believe they’re meant to lead you to make that mistake), then maybe you got to spend money to add more gold. ✓ Almost had me hookedI saw many ads for this game and downloaded it. I love the slow, real-time style of this game. It’s basically a game of Risk that I can take everywhere with me. Everything about this game is fun, except when you have a player that pays to win. I could be making significant progress for a month and then a player will come by, with a fully upgraded force, and wipe me out. This takes the fun away from the game, and I will not be returning to the game for the time being. I heard that players who pay to win are rare, but after experiencing this in the first game, it just seems like a waste of time. I would honestly pay $10 per game to be on a server that doesn’t allow players to use gold, just so I can ensure it’s an even playing field, and to ensure a whole month doesn’t go down the drain. Now, I know that developers have to make money off of the game, and I’ve read several developer responses in various forums that address the issue. I fully understand that and I feel that the developers should be rewarded for creating such a fun game. However, there has to be a better option than giving paying players “god mode”. ✓ Could be so much betterI’ve posted a 5 star review here previously but after some of the updates I’m lowering it. Right now, the servers are absolute trash. I routinely have to reload the application because prompts and commands aren’t working 30-60 seconds after loading most games. Rogue is absolutely ridiculous. The entire point of this game is world domination, but if you’re at war with too many nations for too long you’re penalized by rogue nations taking over cities where morale is low, and the lowering of morale is almost entirely uncontrollable unless you’re willing to spend $20 per game which I’m not. Gold costs are exponentially too high. To get any actual benefit for premium features you really, really do have to spend at a minimum $20 to make any sort of impact and if you don’t, you’re heavily penalized. The game advertises as free and even if you pay for the monthly membership, which I do, if someone else is in the game is dropping actual money there’s no way to compete if you’re not putting out those kind of numbers. It’s the most severe case of pay to win I’ve ever seen, and by far the most expensive..Version: 0.103

✓ GREAT….kind ofTbh, I find this game great to play but I must be missing something because I keep losing in ways that make no sense, I think through a lack of info on my countries strengths and doctrines in game?. So I’m fighting Egypt and have more power than him and I’m 2nd in the lobby. I have (had) not even joking 2 lvl 2 motorised infantry and 1 mechanised with a tank (both infantry’s level 2, lvl 1 tank) vs his 1 tank and one motorised infantry. He won easily and proceeded to take out 2 of my city’s awnd take out another infantry unit with his same unit not healed up. I’ve basically gone from being second to losing the game because of this. Also I was trying to chase him with my infantry before he got to the capital, somehow this guy had better speed too in my own country on the same route? I heard something about doctrines but cannot find anything anywhere in game about it so I don’t know what to research and build to be better suited to. Things need to be made clearer because either he’s just kept healing his unit with gold I don’t understand what happened to the point it’s making me not want to play another game after a week of grafting to be pooped on like that is ridiculous..Version: 0.103
