✓ Exactly Like EpisodeThis game is like a carbon copy of Episode. The poses are exactly alike. Was it really that hard to come up with your own poses that you had to copy exactly Episode's? This is stealing ideas from another app without giving credit, which is not okay- and you should know that. I just want to know why you had to use Episode's poses? Why was it so difficult to come up with your own? Overall, it's an okay app. The stories are exactly like all of the others I’ve played, though. I feel like most of the choices the player makes are not acknowledged. If a character says "no" to something, does it matter? ✓ Takes all your moneyThis app requires you to spend money in order to choose all the good options. This has a lot of really good stories with great options. It’s just annoying that you either have to spend money you may not have, or be forced to deal with all the worst possible actions that causes your character a lot of backfire. I understand that they are trying to make money, but at least have more suitable options for customers who cannot afford to spend money on diamonds so I can spare my character some embarrassment. I just think the game would have more potential and customers if had better access. ✓ Mean choicesThis is a very lovely game. Similar to episode. But equally interesting. Lovely stories too. However my complaint is on the choices. If we don’t pick a premium choice, the other choices horrible. Like watch someone suffer even if they defended you, or insult them or throw them under the bus. Try to make the choices equal. I’ve bought diamonds, but on the times I didn’t have them the alternate choices were too mean. Don’t get me started on the outfits that aren’t a premium choice. Sweatpants to a party?? Pajamas to a dinner?? Make it fair for those that don’t have access to buying diamonds. Also find a way to make someone get more hearts. They take too long. Sometimes watching ads doesn’t even help. ✓ The game is good but inclusivityThis game is good, the resemblance to Episode is big but personally I like it more. There are a lot more restrictions in episode on when you can change the character, where in Spotlight your given the opportunity to make a character for every story you chose to play, I like that a lot. Other than the issue everyone is talking about with the diamonds, I have a much bigger issue that needs instant fixing, in fact it made me not play anymore. This issue is no inclusivity. When I play episode, with every story I am able to choose my love interest(gender I prefer to date that is) while in Spotlight I tried many stories, and I mean many, none of which included anything but the option to date males. It really is bad and I uninstalled the game because of it. I want to be able to enjoy stories and be able to connect with them, and when the only gender I can date is male, I instantly just don’t want to play the story anymore. Please fix this as soon as you can because I think for other thing s that are not the two mentioned, personally speaking it has the potential to be the best on the platform. ✓ Kind of DisappointingI started playing this game a few months ago after I tried Episode. At first this game has a lot of really good features, like you got a daily reward and you also got two diamonds instead of one at the end of each chapter. The best part was having the ability to watch ads for more hearts instead of having to wait multiple hours for it to recharge. However now that I have been playing a while I don’t get daily rewards, two diamonds, the ability to watch an ad for hearts, or challenge rewards. The weekly VIP is not worth the $10 that they ask for it to be honest. The one good thing about the app now is the fact that you can visit other sites for a diamond or two, and the stories of course. If this is a new update it’s sad. It’s just like all the other story games now..Version: 1.6.5

✓ Fun game but too expensiveI really enjoy playing this game, but when you want to make a good choice in the story it is so expensive. I think that it is ridiculous to have to spend from 12-23 gems in one single choice! I mean seriously. I think that people should only have to spend 7 AT THE MOST. Like come on!! All I want is to make a fun choice in the story but can’t because it is so expensive, yet if I don’t make the choice then it practically ruins the story. However the character customization is not great, don’t get why the female characters always have to wear blush. That looks like crap on black characters by the way. You make us pay a lot of money in order to have a decent story line. Why do we get horrible options if we don’t pay??! Oh and when you can use the ads the app is ALWAYS crashing. I either can’t exit the ad or after I’ve watched like 8 ads it tells me “unlocked failed”. I wanted to like this app but it’s just a big rip off! ✓ Waste of time and moneyThe writing is of really poor quality, a faulty English translation by its look. The stories all take too long to load, sometimes they crash or freeze and you have to restart the app. The ad-premium choices is an interesting idea but there are too many of them, and the game takes too long loading them and sometimes it crashes and forgets how many you’ve seen meaning you have to start from the beginning all over again. ✓ Much Needed ImprovementsI like the stories in the app. However, the diamonds earned to diamonds spent ratio is way off. An outfit shouldn’t cost 19-23 diamonds and a premium choice from 12-23 diamonds, that’s ridiculous! There are a few stories that reward diamonds throughout the chapters; there should be more of those. I do like that some stories give you the option to watch ads in order to claim a premium choice, but every time I do that it freezes my phone and I end up having to close the app down and reopen it only to have to watch 12 more ads for it to work and be able to pick the choice. There are also a TON of grammar errors throughout the app and the stories. Unfortunately, since reading is a huge part of the experience is does tend to take away from the enjoyment. Another downside is the choices provided. If you don’t have money to buy diamonds then you are left with horrible choices and outfits. It’s all or nothing when it comes to the choices. It’s sad because you’re literally telling your users that if you can’t afford to spend money on diamonds then you don’t deserve decent choices. I will give it another month to see if there is an update and some changes. If not I will probably take my money elsewhere. ✓ A Money Grab!!!The stories are amazing and entertaining, and I love how fluid characters’s movements are in the stories. The reason why I voted this app with two stars is because of the obvious CASH GRAB this game is! I am reading the Princess story and in the first few chapters, my MC was allowed to curtsy without spending diamonds to do it. She gets in front of the royal family and the game prompts her to use diamonds to curtsy in front of the family. On another story, I had spent diamonds (money) to be allowed to stay in the same bedroom. I can understand having to spend diamonds for that, but having to pay additional diamonds a few seconds later (in the same scene) the game is asking for more diamonds to make love to the love interest. I even have to spend gems to get engaged to my love interest. The amount of diamonds requested should be limited to at least a scene or less..Version: 1.5.0

✓ Behind Closed Doors ( Story )Well. The story put me in the mind of my relationship because of the two main character’s personality being similar to my ex-boyfriend and I. They got married at the end, we got engaged and broke up. Idk it just made me think a little differently. Besides that, in general I don’t like how key options have to be paid for. I don’t like how they don’t really give you the option of positive or negative it’s like either all three choices are negative in a way or all three are something you’d rather not pick. I don’t like how if they want you to click the highlighted option they downplay the regular option. Nevertheless. I spent 2.99 on here and honestly.. I’m not upset money doesn’t have value so yea. Other than that the episode I played was nice and it gave me dreams and made me wake up with a different heart posture in a sense. ✓ Bring back the pet!Where did my cat go? I remember logging into this game in the past for this reason alone. Now that it’s gone, with the addition of everything being so expensive, it’s just not worth it. Also the fact that you guys claim, in reply to the reviews, that you would find more ways for us to earn diamonds but still haven’t seems like you’re giving empty promises. ✓ One of the worst story apps so boring!!So I read a few of the story witch are very short! There choppy like someone taken tiny bits of story chop bits out, there totally boring & don’t make sense at all it’s like reading a child’s cartoon the graphics are ok but the people look weird ! it also cost a fortune in gems 23 to answer one question! If you don’t pick a gem question the story people put you down & bully you! Witch is actually horrible but guess it just the way to get money for the game! I picked a free outfit & I got smirky com! ✓ Love but all my stuff randomly got erasedI love this game, it’s easy to get gems to progress ur story, heart are harder to come by, but my big problem is I went in after not using the app for about 2 weeks and literally everything was gone, but for some reason it still remembered how many gems/hearts I had. I’m really annoyed bc I had got some outfits and hair with the gems in the game (didn’t spend any real money thank god). Moral of the story make sure u connect ur Facebook or apple or google to it just in case. I’m really annoyed I had 4 stories on the go and now I’m going to have to restart. Luckily I don’t think this happens often bc I haven’t seen many other people with this issue. I’m just gonna uninstall and redownload so I can at least reset my hearts and gems. However the amount of times I’ve selected to watch an ad rather than pay for an option and yet after I’ve watched the ad it wouldn’t give me the premium option. ✓ 50/50While I absolutely love the game itself, you have to spend so much money to make good choices. I’ve only downloaded it today because of the decent reviews and I was like well I’ll give it a shot myself. That being said, you have to spend so much money just to make decent choices. It’s not any fun if you have to make just basic choices the entire time but it’s so expensive to make good ones. I feel as if either they should choose certain choices for less diamonds and then some choices for more diamonds. That would give the creators the ability to still make money while giving the player the ability to pick and choose when they want to spend more diamonds or not. I feel that would make the game more fair instead of every single golden choice being 20 diamonds. It’s crazy to have to buy diamonds every single time. Especially when there’s no option to earn diamonds aside from spending money. I don’t know if I will continue playing. Especially when I read the other reviews and saw people complaining about this same issue for a very long time and still nothing being done about it. It’s a fun game overall, but be ready to spend money constantly if you want to also make the great choices too. 🤦🏽♀️ Lastly, it says first purchase of coins x200 percent and I didn’t get those at all and have made several purchases. ✓ Glitch?Okay so the game is fun, it's really interesting, lots of details, especially for MC but there's a glitch i think, because whenever i try to watch an add instead of buying a premium choice it makes me watch 2 ads then it doesn't even unlock the choice? And this isn't the first time it's happened to me. Another thing. I was in a story and i needed to get some diamonds for a premium choice because it's one of those choices where you can't watch an add, so i was gonna watch a couple ads for 2 diamonds, but then something appeared on my screen saying that the game needed an update so i pushed "update" then when i was about to watch an ad for 2 diamonds it only gave me one? and there was this choice under the "watch an add for diamonds" where i can enter websites or whatever to get diamond's, and that just completely disappeared. ✓ Spending money but not getting diamondsI really like this game, the stories and choices are very good. That’s why I’m really bummed out that I can’t seem to purchase extra diamonds/hearts. I’ve tried multiple times and it’s always “Pay fail”. The kicker is, THE MONEY HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN FROM MY ACCOUNT, while I’m not getting what I paid for! ✓ Episode is WAY betterThis app is basically a carbon copy of episode, but you have to use diamonds to pay for any good choice, and you barely earn any diamonds after each chapter, the max is 2. The stories are also only 5 minutes or less whereas in episode, a lot are 15+ minutes. At least in episode, I can still enjoy the story and get a good ending. I recommend you just download episode instead of this watered down version. And all the good reviews are lies and probably bots..Version: 1.4.3

But there are lots of "diamond options" in each story, meaning you need to spend diamonds in order to choose certain options. A suggestion to developers would be, please remove these diamond options. Or if not, at least make it easier for us to get diamonds, instead of earning 1 after finishing a chapter. But preferably, the diamond options could be removed altogether. It's not much fun to come to a point in the story where you have to choose the worst option. This is definitely the major turnoff of this game. ✓ This is great, but...Hello, I’ve recently downloaded this game and it’s so far really good! I do love playing the game so much.I spend a lot of time on it. But there’s a phew things wrong with it.. 1)As I’ve been playing this game it randomly kicks me off game and it happens to much! 2) diamonds are so hard to get because some of us can’t afford to buy them. If you could fix the glitch that would be amazing! And if you could do something like earning more diamonds in game instead of having to buy them, also that would be great. If you fixed these I would give you 5 starts (Don’t need this) I’m colour blind and I really wanted my character to have died hair but sadly I couldn’t see it so I had to go with brown? I think it was brown.
