✓ PokemI love the game I have the money to spend like $50 to make yourself look pretty or $1000 to dominate poor people who won’t spend money I’m poor so sucks for me. We’ll play pomek. Brawls u can get all the legendaries or Pokémon u can get a not pretty skin.Version: 1.3.1
✓ Dear Pokémon unite teamI’ll start with the bad because I don’t want you to just read the beginning and be like oh he thinks the game is amazing case close pack up boys. 1 Your game is unique but it doesn’t feel fulfilling each match because there’s a congestion of Pokémon that are over played and playing against yourself on the enemy team is in rewarding during ranked. A draft pick would address this issue 2 your game has a huge surplus of bots and I get it the game is new you have to have competition to establish a player base but there’s a limit. When there’s a huge surplus of bots vs players being on the bots side or playing against the bot feels lack luster and makes the replay-ability boring and causes a loss players sticking with the game. But on a good note your game has huge potential and is growing because the fabs of Pokémon believe in you adding more Pokémon showing the players that you care through balance changes( as a gengar main) he’s over tuned. His kit is amazing and has a good learning curve. But deals to much damage (Frogadier) does legitimately everything. Your game is growing and will continue to grow unless the updates stop. But I don’t foresee that happening. All in all as a moba fan this is a 3 out of 5 because the game is still developing and I don’t want to rate it off potential but at the current state of the game. ✓ Very DisappointingPlease read…..this game is great to play, however it is a team effort in which players must work together. There is certain game play where some players you get matched with do not play or even leave the game which is unfair. You can report them however they only get -10 points deducted and even banned from ranked games but why should people lose there star over a player who doesn’t play… people cannot fight alone when its 5 v 5 rank games, i hope one day they will make this fair because it really isn’t worth playing unless you have a great team beside you… some players just ruin the game, if you can’t play don’t play a ranked game!!!!!!.Version: 1.2.1
✓ Refund systemThis is a good game overall, however you need to add a refund system, with the new update came the cherry blossom outfit which I accidentally bought. This is because your developers did not add a screen where it asks “are you sure?” It just buys it immediately. And I’m sure that many people have accidentally bought items before as well, this is why you need to add a refund system or at least a helpline for your game. Honestly it’s just embarrassing and disappointing that a well developed game like this doesn’t even have a refund system/helpline.Version: 1.4.1.5
✓ Fun at times… mostly unbalanced, flawed, frustrating1. Zappados - horrible epic fail of a design element. 10min minute match. Last 2 min zappados appears. Team that defeats him get double points, extra energy, and enemy goals lose defense. Player who deals final blow get FULL credit for kill. So it is often pure luck which team gets credit.. an epically terrible unskilled losing team can win in last 60sec due to this element. 9min working hard to defeat a team… you lose in last 60sec to pure luck?!?!?! Happens often. Annoying and frustrating. WHO THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA. 2. Can’t quit matches. Can’t chat or communicate. Can’t vote kick. Can’t report players. Penalized if your game freezes or controls stop responding (known issue). Players disconnected or not responding never replaced by bots or other players. 3. Click battle, click start, wait for matching, get matched, click ready… wait 30sec for all to agree, if even one does not respond, start over, another matching, another 30sec getting ready this can happen 2 to 3 times… THEN everyone picks their Pokémon 45sec regardless of how fast everyone gets ready… THEN the match start to load, at least another 30sec. THEN the 10min match with all issues from #1 and #2. Yes, can be fun to play as Pokémon, but mostly a lesson in frustration and fine example of VERY bad design..Version: 1.2.1
✓ This game is fun but…There is a serious problem with match making. It’s not pay2win but the amount of matches you’ll play with literal BRAINDEAD teammates is torturous. It’s like someone handed their phone over to their 3 year old who doesn’t level up and tries to fight 3 enemies at lvl 1. I was having fun at first BESIDES the bots that you’ll match with a lot, which is another down side to this game. But match making is killing the mood for this game. I’ll put this here: DONT PLAY THIS GAME IF YOU HAVE NO UNDERSTANDINGS OF MOBA GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will just be RUINING the experience for players that are actually good and understand how to play. ✓ Good game but……There’s really not any communication options when your in battle. You can have a mic and headphones but once turned on you don’t really know if your actually speaking. There’s light up on the mic signaling you speaking so you don’t know if anyone can hear you cause there’s no indication otherwise. While your in battle you can press a flag option that signals gather here but I’d rather have options like need help. Atleast that would be understood better than gather here because that could be misinterpreted and a lot of teammates don’t listen to it. Being a pvp online strategy game I’d like to be able to trash talk my teammates for just playing plain awful. I don’t mean saying “literally you’re trash” but more in the lines of saying “wow” or “I’m done”. They force you to buy skins with real money for the Pokémon I think if you put in the work you should be able to pay for it with the in-game currency. For instance if Pokémon cost 8-10k then skins should cost from 15-25k based on the outfit. The option to buy currency should still be an option for the cheaters or people with no patience but it should atleast still be a option to be able to use in-game currency as well..Version: 1.4.1
✓ Matchmaking is awful in rankedOn a whole the game is pretty good it’s an easy MOBA to pick up however as you progress you will realise their are some major matchmaking errors and sometimes your matched with people of equal rank who seem to have no grasp of objectives, defending a goal zone, actually scoring and gaining exp. Essentially no real premise of how to play the game. It is even worse in standard matches. Ranking up is two steps forward and five backward it’s truly painful. Essentially your penalised if you as a single player play well but due to the rest of the team have no idea what they are doing your knocked rank or part of a rank. There is a sense of pay to win but so much is given to you on a plate if you complete events and challenges. If it’s all spent on the right held items your all good so long as you actually understand how the game is played. I might change my review and opinion in the future but for now it needs some fine tuning..Version: 1.3.1

✓ Why the punishment?So the game is good, in fact it’s great except for one problem. The problem is that you literally have to make time for a 10 minute with no option to quit unless the entire team surrenders which is horrible because I’ll be in the middle of a match win or lose but would have to exit the game to deal with more important things in real life, I have done this like 8 or 9 times which resulted in me being banned from ranked, now that wouldn’t be a problem except for the fact that you could only gain 5 fair play points a day basically outcasts me from playing competitively, like I said it wouldn’t have been a problem if the game allowed you to make up those fair play points or just get rid of that system all together, I think the ability to be able to leave a game is necessary for instances like these and just replace my absence with a CPU but noooooo I literally have to be outcasted and unfairly ruled as incompetent when I have to deal with real life, not just kids play this game for instance adults like me who have been playing Pokémon since Pokémon stadium days enjoy this game just as much..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Mewto X and YEver since Pokemon unite launched Mewto X and Y especially Y this game has nothing been more than a stress giver rather than a stress reliever. Pay2win character and even after the nerf that character can still torment with your mental health. A range character with strength of the almighty and defense of a wall it’s unbelievable how Unite team still didn’t need it enough! Trust me do not waste your time playing the game until Mewto is not nerfed, because climbing up the ranks is impossible as long as you do not have a Mewto to play with. There is no strategy or intelligence that can help you win when you have a Character in the game that is autowin with Eyes closed. ✓ Game is cool but….Cool game everything….but why is the accounts link work 20 times more difficult than using my bank? This is a video game. How is it so hard to link my phone account as guest with all my saved data and transfer on my iPad? All other mobile games from all other companies make it extremely easy to sign in with multiple devices. Except this one. It’s so hard to figure out. Why do y’all have 4,000 articles about this topic. Why don’t you hire an engineer to fix the issues and make it simple like every other company lol. ✓ What type of moba to expect?So I’m not the biggest Moba player, but have had a reasonable amount of exposure and experience. The game has a lot of potential and has a very interesting goal in comparison to your mobas, being the goal is to score in the enemy “turrets” versus just taking them down as normal. Imo, it’s quite easy to snowball in this game and the moment one team has a bit of an advantage it’s very hard to overtake the team mostly since most randoms you que with are not going to know how to counter or position themselves. I love the idea of this game but it may not be the thing for me. The Pokémon franchise has attracted a wide variety of players, however the general concentrated demographic is probably younger players who are more accustomed to the open world turn based playing style versus and all out map fight. If you’re one who gets easily tilted even in your normal mobas this probably isn’t for you. Probably wish the tutorial emphasized map awareness, and grouping versus just soloing off the enemy in a 1v3 in where your teammates go in to drop like flies. ✓ Corporate gluttony on steroidsIt’s a fun if not simple game and is a great way to blow off steam now and then. It’s got a good selection of Pokémon and uses the IP in a fun way, but everything is so expensive in game and locked behind payments that for anyone who is starting out it is either a mountain of time to play and unlock things or a tonne of money. The developers spend more time releasing new Pokémon, which are locked behind currency that you can only buy with cash than, actually balancing gameplay and Pokémon that are unbalanced. The game has a $15 a month subscription to unlock certain items, and a $20-30 battle pass for each season, and also includes loot boxes which are also limited to the purchasable currency. On top of this, the developers release skins that can cost $30 or more PER POKÉMON… Overall it’s fun for a little while but incredibly frustrating if you’re looking for a game to really throw your time into on the intellectual property, rather than focusing on developing a really great well balanced accessible game..Version: 1.10.1.1
✓ Just another mobaFirstly this game is fun when you first pick it up and the game does have its moments but there are some glaring problems. This game is extremely laggy, and the servers are horrible. Loading into the game is fine but every time you try to open menus or your main player id the game freezes or lags. Same with picking a Pokémon the game will freeze for 5-10 secs which is extremely annoying. The same thing happens in games, in the middle of fights, walking, or just clearing the farm you will lag. This is very annoying because you will most likely die and fall behind. The other issue is how many bot lobby’s there are. 9 out of 10 matches will be boy lobby’s for me or I will just bit teammates. It’s very easy to tell when all of my teammates immediately rotate up to the boss as soon as it spawns. This makes the game boring and feel like there is no merit to climbing the ranks and when you do get to high ranks the game is frustrating because you will be much worse. ✓ Absolute waste of junkI’ve been playing this game for a year and a half. This game has been trolling me. It’s sounds like it wants a piece of me, though you should delete this game and no longer play it FOREVER. The first thing about what I hate about Pokémon unite is that the teams are very toxic, they don’t help you fight other players and they don’t help you fight the boss. Secondly, getting coins is very hard. You have to battle on a team and you only get a little bit of coins. They want to entertain you to play more until you get fed up of this game because it takes ages for getting enough coins for the Pokémon you want. Thirdly, some Pokémon are super rubbish. They barely do damage on other Pokémon, you don’t get much XP for your Pokémon and some other Pokémon have very low health. Fourthly, the game puts up nasty comments on your team with telling them that they are struggling, loosing their morale. Lastly , if you try to leave the game, they just decrease your “fair play points”. Pokémon unite doesn’t accept data, so you have to play with internet. ✓ Fun, and yet you still managed to screw it upLeave it to the Pokemon company to make a MOBA with a pay to win model... the complete lack of communication with teammates leads to frustrating games full of rage quitting, the lack of income makes it feel like I’m stuck playing the Pokemon I own, and those only. Trying to unlock a new Pokemon takes a genuine age, as you don’t really get any coins. The “dunking” mechanic, like with the “aeos energy” stuff is pretty frustrating, you try and dunk with a ton, you get hit from them jumping onto from their base.. it would have been better just to have turrets with hp, and the aeos energy is used to upgrade your items that you brought into the battle. It’s got good mechanics (other than the unbalanced Pokemon) however, looks nice and plays well, so it’s not a complete failure.. but it’s a shame to see the folks at pokemon still haven’t learned to use 10% of their brain power :(.Version: 1.2.1
✓ DisappointedPlayed for two seasons and now uninstalled. There are major problems with the matching, reporting and mvp determination system. If on a winning steak, you’re bound to be match with teammates with low win rates and opponents with high win rates. MVP is too score-based. Players hardly help fighting and forces on scoring cause defeated and they would be the mvp. Cant believe I played for two seasons. Seriously guys, the team match making is terrible, and that’s putting it politely, my fair play is 100% , and I’ve had to grind my ranking only to make it to ultra… and I mean it takes a lot of losses, and not because of me, but because of team members either deliberately muck around, or are new and have been paired with guys like us who’ve tried to make master and level up, or dgaf! It takes the joy out of playing, and the game is just not what it has the potential to be. I don’t know if it’s because you prioritise the competition players over us casuals, Or because your algorithm program isn’t good and like match makes anyone, Maybe match make people with their own age groups or the same ranks together and not a high level with a noob! Because if a noob loses , it’s algood they’re already at the bottom, but if you’re a master or ultra or veteran and you lose, that’s a lot of points. ✓ Fun and has potential but room to improveI’ve played about an hour of the game the concept is decent. There’s a few things needing addressing though before this game could really take off. I find a constant issue of having a lost connection which then makes the game hang infinitely until I delete and reinstall it which is a major pain if my WiFi or data drops out and on a slightly older iPhone 10XS I’m finding the game quite liable to crashes too. I am yet to try it on iPad but imagine it will run better on a newer and more powerful device. Secondly, at the moment the meta of the game definitely goes towards attacking Pokémon. I’ve played a couple of games with a ranged defender (Slowbro) and struggled to deal much damage to actually help even within my own zone. So balancing is something that needs addressed, there’s definitely much stronger Pokémon out there that make others completely irrelevant and when you have such a massive index of characters to potentially pick from, that’s quite disappointing. Good potential for this to go eSports and competitive, you could really get into this game and master it if you wish to, but you’re also going to be able to pick this up and play for a game or two in your lunch break or if you’re looking to pass some time, therefore the potential really is huge. I could see myself putting money into this, but not in the current state of balance and with the issues I’m having. I’d love to see the balancing addressed and do well..Version: 1.3.1

✓ AnnoyingGames so annoying so unbalanced, some pokemon have such unfair moves that make it impossible to do anything against. You go on streaks. So you might win 5 games in a row and it all seems hunky dory until you lose 6 games in a row. Which leads me to believe the whole thing is fixed somehow. Ive just researched that ive actually been playing against bots in ranked. Which explains a lot. Im often in ranked games where my team mates are so bad and useless and im shouting at the screen saying why are you doing that?! It literally makes no sense. If you’re a high level player with as many battles and wins as your scorecard says then why are you sitting at base or rushing in and just dying. Throwing the game. Theres like 3 classic pokemon. Most are the new pokemon which tbh i hate and so i dont even want to try them with their fancy tilted moves and power. The game has got potential. Could be as good as league of legends but needs serious work. More classic pokemon and it would be nice to be playing against and with actual people of similar skill. ✓ Devs need to get rid of legendaries or rework themI’ve played this game for a year and reached masters each season since I started. This game used to be so good and somewhat balanced (obvi had som issues like any other game), but the release of mew started this god awful trend of legendaries being ridiculously overpowered for so long after their release. Mew required skill to play for it to be OP, but then they released zacian and didn’t touch it for months. Zacian could erase your healthbar as a defender w a single ability and a couple basics (ability CCd and slowed you btw) and had a hindrance resistant dash (amazing mobility). Now Mew 2 X and Y…. literally brain dead mons. The mons idea of making a simple mon to allow beginner players to play them is literally such a pathetic excuse to monetize the game at the expense of quality gameplay. There is 0 skill in these mons, seriously, it’s arguably even worse than the zacian release. Pressing A and outranging every mon in the game or pressing A and using abilities to pull everything to you and adding a slow effect is far from being “skillful.” At least zacian had one held item slot for its sacred sword?? where’s the mega stone?? ✓ Pay to win and full of cheatsBeen playing the game for a couple weeks and now and at glance the game seems really good. Vibrant colors, Pokémon, pretty cool customization as far as clothing and what not. Then there is the pay to win. You can literally buy buffs and things to help you progress really quickly, which isn’t a problem after a certain a point, because you will eventually catch up and have the same level items and what not. Then, there is the cheating going on. It’s obvious too. People that run around the map looking like they are strung out on something for the whole match. The individuals that go around one hitting everything in sight and those that simply sit under YOUR healing point and kill anything moving. Doesn’t help to report them because nothing is done about the situation. The game has potential but like many games now, hackers run rampant and there is not the devs will do about it. Most alter game folders so that whatever crappy game security the devs have put in place can even detect. But, honestly if you’re just looking for some thing to have a quick stab at this game is great, but to actually invest money in, I would say there are plenty of way better things to do with your money. ✓ Bug fixes needed!It’s a good game, but every minute a glitch! Sometimes it moves randomly, sometimes you’re frozen, every single second I can’t escape them! My siblings also play this game, and it’s so annoying that we can’t even move! ✓ Love it…until you talkI love the game! Don’t get me wrong! But I’m seriously about to stop playing. I just got voice banned for 168 hours. For those who don’t know, if at any point you use your mic in a match, then turn it off, you WILL be banned if someone reports you. There is no review process, no allowance to use voice chat in invited groups, etc. Just banned. Can’t use the mic at all. Today, i was playing with 1 friend and 3 randoms in a ranked match. I started losing connection and lagging out so i used my mic to tell the team. The rest of the game, my mic was off. At the end, my friend who didn’t do very well was being called out by a spanish speaking player. The player was saying racist things, calling them useless, etc and someone tried (im assuming) to report them. But the way it appears is anyone who used their mic AT ANY POINT in the game has an ! Next to their name. They reported me instead of the other person. I have been banned before when my mic was never on. This game is far too “ban-happy” with absolutely no review process at all. Update: i just used my mic to say “i tried to do a steal” and got banned for 2 weeks. You need to fix this for real. This with the ridiculous matchmaking and growing pay-to-win vibe is about to force me to uninstall..Version: 1.9.1.1

✓ The biggest problem that makes the game not good at allThe biggest probalem in this game is the matchmaking. Especially in ranked. The game just doesn't have good matchmaking at all when you get paired with bots and they just don't do anything like get objectives and don't help in team battles or just feeding experience to the other team. Also, about a year ago, there was an update that had the matchmaking 'fixed'. This did not change a single f'ing thing when I'm still matched with bots trying to climb ranked. Just because you are releasing new pokemon and new events, this problem will not be forgotten and will always be an issue. Obviously, the developers of this game do not care about the matchmaking because they are just getting more sales off the more they release these new events as they release more holowears and gem locked pokemon. Oh right, forgot to mention the fact that the AI is literally braindead. They won't listen to any commands because they are obviously coded to be like that and will never get fixed but, they also will go to the lane recommended for them. Even when you call jungle, they will steal either steal jungle or just jungle with you. This is why matchmaking needs to be fixed..Version: 1.8.1.1
✓ It’s fun at times (kind of long sorry lol)If your paired with a team that’s good, isn’t like 5 years old and actually knows how to play, then it’s usually a fun match. (Unless if the other team is 100x stronger & has better pokemon, then you’d might as well surrender) I swear, literally one time I was paired with two people who weren’t even trying to score?? Then there was one time where my team had the idiocracy to surrender, and if we didn’t we would’ve won?? if you want to guarantee you’re not playing with a bunch of 5 year olds with access to mommy’s iPad, trying playing with friends/ friend a bunch of good teammates you’ve played with in matches before. also invest in good pokemon (machamp, duraludon, garchomp, tsareena, decidueye, zeraora, blissey, lucario, or just do a bunch of research, at least one of each role is best too: supporter, attacker, all rounder, speedster, defender, but also Imo ninetales kinda sucks in this game, try playing it for ur self. Do not buy cinderace, ninetales, slowbro, greninja, venusaur, or tsareena, these pokemon you can get for free. There is also crustle, but you have to complete all of the 7 days of the “beginners challenge” to get it, which starts immediately after the first time you log in, unfortunately I did not know this lol.) There are also 5 starter pokemon you can choose from at the start of the game: Pikachu, Charizard, Snorlax, Talonflame, and Eldegoss. ✓ Fun game but…poor ranking system and kill steals!!I have some serious suggestions for a good game that can be better! You should not get ranked down if you were MVP but your team lost. If your team lost but you had the highest score, your rank should stay unaffected- neither increase nor decrease! Secondly The ranked games are so rigged. And set. Some games your team wins miles ahead of the others and some horribly loose. The thing is this happens just so that you don’t consecutively level up. So if you are doing well for a few matches, they change it up so that you lose a few regardless of your skill just so that you can’t level up too high unless you pay for ridiculous upgrades probably. And the teamwork element just doesn’t work there should be a way to communicate with teammates beyon the strict quick chat. EDIT: a voice note option has been added. ✓ Could be a great game if only…..The 30 seconds countdown for everyone to mark as ready, is just plain annoying. To wait 30 seconds for someone to not push a button, then it happens a 2nd time in a row, that is incredibly frustrating. The surrender option in the game is shocking. My only losses so far have come from where my teammates are fools, and they surrender when they do not need to. Even though I vote NO to surrender, I am forced to take a loss because of my teammates. Thats not honourable and will easily be exploited in match fixing like it has done in other games. Over all the game is great besides these two really annoying features above. The interface does feel “sluggish” but it’s workable. Oh and please make the description of attack buttons much shorter, to the point, and pop up faster when holding down the button in game. It’s too slow to pop up, and too much text to read during a battle!…. Kill stealing is really bad in this game. So often someone on my team comes along and last hits someone who I did 95% damage to. They get the kill and their score looks really impressive at the end of f the game. But the fact they offered no help. The kill should be granted to the person who took down the most hp, or engaged in the battle with that individual the longest! The time it takes to get into the game is way too slow. I read the support page on this concept; it lists several actions (or inactions) that can result in points being docked, essentially punishing the player, preventing them from playing further and even preventing them from regaining points under some circumstances. Young kids will have no idea what’s going on or why they can’t play: my son brought the iPad to me and asked what the cryptic fair-play points message was about. I assure you (the developers) his conduct is not malicious or unfair; it is likely the product of being a six-year-old, which is a kind of person you seem to welcome to the game. In addition, parents (like myself) who have no clue about these points ask their kids to put down devices all the time, likely costing points. Regardless of policies—which kids who likely can’t read (based on birth date) are apparently allowed to agree to—I’d be pretty upset if I had spent any money on this game. Deserves 0 stars for the fair-play point system. Aside from that—“Unite Battle Committee”? The heck is that? “Battle Pass”? “Unite Club”? “Season”? This game is too complicated for its own good. ✓ Alright but way to similar to League of Legends Wild RiftHey there Pokémon Company. The game you have is alright but there are something to suggest. 1. More fair between ranged and melee characters 2. Easier controls 3. Not that many 2 choose from Though the biggest is it is way too similar to LOL Wild Rift. I really think you could make some changes. 1. A different type of map. (Maybe cross ways or teleported?) 2. More unique roles (Cause u know why) Finally is passive. I know this already in LOL but I should really add it (u might have already but I couldn’t really find it). A passive is like a little bonus. For example in LOL, the character Zed’s passive is ‘Contempt for the Weak’. This allows bonus damage for enemies under 50% HP. Or Ahri’s being after some attacks, the next heals. ✓ I’ll pass…Severely unbalanced game that mostly awards mons that do damage (attackers) over other characters. Defenders and support characters have to work 10x harder (and get lucky with teammates in soloq) to have any impact on the team. There are tons of characters that are quite frankly not viable because many characters can outclass them easily… or they just die without being able to put up much of a fight, found myself being killed really easily despite being in my goal zone (when I’m a defender) when Im up against Attacker role mons like Greninja, cinderace and Venusaur. Overpowered characters like Lucario, Zeraora and Venusaur get buffed even more or continue to be ignored despite needing nerfs. It’s a good way to spend 10 minutes I suppose but in competitive scene, this game is absolute garbage. Several moves are just outright bad for some mons because they’re not impactful and are incredibly situational (crustle’s stealth rock being a prime example) and the devs continue to ignore this. Mobile version is also riddled with bugs that send you out of the game such as the “authorisation has expired” bug which has existed for quite some time now and hasn’t been fixed. As of recent I’ve encountered another bug where the game completely freezes on me but my mon is still moving in a single direction for other players, putting my teammates at a disadvantage in team fights and me at a disadvantage in engages..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Pay to win BIG TIMEThis game is a good effort but you get nothing if you don’t invest a fortune into. I’ve not see such a heavy pay to win game in a while. You have to grind like mad to get anything at all. If you want to pay a small fortune though you can unlock the other pokemon and power them up but for what, playing around pretty much on the same map? Also if you’re playing on mobile or iPad the controls are just shocking. So in conclusion, if your a free to play like me don’t bother as you will only have a few Pokémon and you will be battling people that have invested a significant amount and you will just die time after time, and where is the fun in that? ✓ Great game, large issuesThe game is really great, however I find there are fairly large issues plaguing my enjoyment. The first is the balancing problems. Certain Pokémon are clearly far too powerful, and yes, I mean Lucario and Crustle. Both of these characters have no downsides: very strong offense, defense and mobility. It makes it so that you need to either pick on of these two Pokémon or one of the few who can hold a candle to them, for example Snorlax or Pikachu (also side note, why doesn’t don’t these two evolve ? Munchlax, Pichu and Raichu are absent from the game). This is fine for a bit but quickly you get bored of using the same 3 attacks (or 5 if you’re weird and switch them). The second problem is with the game mode’s scoring system. The dramatic increase of points obtained in the last minute and a half out of the ten minute game makes it so it feels pointless to score goals before defeating Zapdos. Not only will capturing him make your team able to instantly score, but since he spawns towards the end, those goals will be worth twice as much. Couple that with the fact that your maximum orb carry capacity increases and you’re talking about a jump from 30 points per goal (max) at the start of the game, to 50x2 by the end (so 100). I understand you want to give the losing team a chance to make a comeback, but if you’re winning and the opposing team captures Zapdos and scores 400 points in 20 seconds it makes your effort prior to that feel like a waste. All in all, it’s a fun game to play and these problems don’t hinder the gameplay too much, but they are inconveniences that could be fixed with a simple balance update (Maybe reduce the increase in orbs at the end and nerf Lucario and Crustle, and while you’re at it buff Gardevoir) Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk.Version: 1.2.1

✓ Has unbelievable potential, but…Don’t get me wrong, this game is absolutely exceptional for the most part. It’s a great concept for a Pokémon game, it’s updated regularly to keep it fresh and interesting and there’s a variety of game modes depending on how much time and effort you have to put into a session. However, for me personally the connection to the servers can be really poor. Even at home on my (very strong) Wi-Fi I find myself lagging out at least once (sometimes 2-3 times) every game for a WHOLE MINUTE each time. Within those minutes you’re frozen; you get killed off, loose you’re momentum and when you come back you’re very under-levelled compared to the rest of the lobby (meaning you can’t fight opposing players) and your team are too far behind to claw back a victory (due to being a player down) resulting in certain defeat. Obviously loosing a game here and there due to bad connection isn’t the end of the world, but when you’re trying to climb through the ranked classes it can be very demotivating when you get bunked down to a lower rank due to poor servers. To make it worse, if you get fed up of watching your stationary, frozen Pokémon for a minute and decide to leave the game you get punished by loosing ‘fair-play’ points. So when your lag out 2 mins into a game… A) You have accept you’ve now lost that game. B) You must stare at your frozen screen for a minute. C) You have to play the game to the end, even though it’s most likely going to end in defeat..Version: 1.3.1

✓ Fun game but some issues need to be addressedI have been playing for sometime in mobile and switch, with friends or alone. The game is fun and easy to follow with simple mechanics however lately there are players disconnecting or a bot feeding the opponents on EVERY SINGLE GAME. The reporting system is basically harmless as the main penalty is a loss of 10 “fair-play” points out of 100 while the rest of the four players are still awarded a loss but get rewarded with some points. In simple terms the unfair player or bot can still do the same up to 6 times on potentially 24 different players before being banned from play while the rest of us struggle to enjoy the game. For future reference I would recommend a faster time or permanent ban system and a loss prevention system for the game not just a few points..Version: 1.7.1.1

But after playing this for a few months there are things that need improvements on. 1) Chat system needs to be more accessible besides just the brief moment before match matching. There needs to be more communication options, or chat abilities besides microphone within the game and after. To players during and after the game. This is the number one frustration I faced along with all the friends I’ve invited to play. Game feels too claustrophobic with the limited chat abilities you have. Even chatting to friends in text is ignored because it’s so hidden away. Make it more pop. There’s just too many steps to go through to even chat with players. 2) There needs to be more information displayed after the game ends. Honor system, chat abilities (again), ability to see other players ranks on the spot besides needing to go into individual matches and checking individually. That’s hugely inefficient. 3) Bots. Addressed enough but understandable. However it gets boring. 4) Game feels too confined. There should be more UI buttons that make it more accessible to address chat, profile checking, and more open access issues listed above instead of these event buttons and gifts and whatnot, that don’t matter. ✓ Why?The Game is great but, once when I was playing the game, I found a server I didn’t like, so I switched the game off and on again, I expected it to just let my play like normal, but no, it forcibly reconnected me even though I didn’t want to reconnect. When I reconnected I didn’t have any choice for my Pokémon (I really didn’t in the first place) at that point so I left and rejoined again but it just reconnected me. This is really really annoying and I’d appreciate it if you could make reconnecting an option instead of making people rejoin. ✓ A Few Glaring IssuesMatchmaking system is pretty flawed, consistent issues with super unbalanced teams. Basically no way to filter out who your teammates are and who you’re playing against. Pretty much no way to communicate/coordinate with teammates - each player has their own strategy to do well (focus on leveling up first then scoring, vice versa, just battling opponents, just defending, etc.) which makes for really random/hit or miss team efforts. Tired of playing with people who battle Corphishes right next to me as I’m getting killed 1v2 in my own goal. Also, charging people 10k for new pokemon then nerfing them right afterward in an update isn’t cool (and I didn’t even buy Sylveon recently). Game developers should ~take new pokemon and plug their stats + existing data on all battles into a Monte Carlo simulation to predict the new pokemon’s impact on existing gameplay before releasing it. After playing against Sylveon in a few ranked matches, a few friends and I immediately noticed Sylveon was OP and would go on to get nerfed, which the 10/8 update did. Come on now, run response surface methodology or something and optimize for a relatively balanced game before releasing in the first place. ✓ Still unbalanced…The game may have received heavy cosmetic changes, bug fixes, and other patches but the one thing I feel isn’t being properly addressed is how unbalanced the game is. First you are paired in Expert League with people who play as though they were in Beginner League. How do players of that skill level manage to get to Expert and they play how they play? Then more times than not you face against others who should be in the same League as you but some how feel as though they are 1 to 2 Leagues higher. Regardless, it’s pretty bad when your wins are out weighted by your losses more times than not in ranked. Fun game so far but if that is how ranked game play is going to be moving forward I might as well not continue to play because I will only experience more stress than fun at the end of the day. I’m the type of gamer that likes to enjoy every aspect of a game, not just little bits and parts. After all, even if you don’t pay a dime of earned money to play your time still has value and is still an investment in itself, so the game is still technically costing you something. I’ve been a supporter of this Franchise since 96 and have enjoyed almost every aspect of it down to the cards themselves. I want this game to work and I want to enjoy it. ✓ Quickly dying at Timi's handsWhat a waste of a MoBA from a huge franchise! Over just 3-4 seasons, Timi have screwed up: balance of Pokemon, matchmaking, rewards, emblems, held items and much, much more. In the time I've been playing, the meta has become so warped around a handful of OP Pokemon that absolutely dominate the game. The Ranked matchmaking is ridiculously uneven and inconsistent - you can get teamed up with all new players and go up against multiple-time Masters; you can also play solo and get matched up against a pro/semi-pro team of 5. The attributes of emblems get changed with no notice. Only half of the held items are of any use. In short, this is ok for a short time but completely fails to build any core loyalty. Just Google the number of streamers who have walked away from the game. We started playing this as a family and have decided to stop. Massive disappointment from the Pokemon name. But pretty much symptomatic of the company's current woes surrounding games like Unite and Go and their zero-care for their player base in TCG and VGC tournaments..Version: 1.10.1.1

But there are ranked modes, and they certainly aren’t fun when your team doesn’t understand you need to score to win. Lots of AFK’s and tanks are incredibly OP on here for some reason, their damage is matched to striker DPS Pokémon and they take loss of reduced damage. Just overall poor game for ranked gameplay, push a team chat update or remain mediocre despite these reviews. It’s easy to carry casual games, but if you’re the only one on your team who knows what you’re doing. This game is overall a two - I have a win rate of over 80% in standard and 100% in ranked. The game has bits of enjoyment when you are winning, but very quickly gets boring and can easily be destroyed by those you’re playing with. There needs to be a fail safe when you end up in a lobby with 3 people wanting to go central that you can just leave. Matchmaking should have three different variable mechanisms in matching people to play, 1 understanding skill level - 2 positioning such as top, central and bottom - 3 character type attacker, defender, supporter, speedster etc. If matchmaking took into consideration and recognised these 3 different variables you wouldn’t have this two star review. ✓ Great concept, very poorly executed.It is clear some users do not know how the game works. I constantly see people holding onto 40-50 points and never scoring, they just try (and often lose the points doing so), to knock out others. Then there are the players who follow you around, hampering you levelling up and not doing anything productive. Even in ranked when I’ve scored over 300 points and got some knockouts, and my team loses, my rating goes down because we lost. Some players start the match and then just sit there not moving, so you’re a player down already. ✓ Ranking match with bots, not with people.I love this game and I’ve been playing it for a while now, it’s entertaining and full of action! However, one of the things that is taking me to the point of deleting this game is the whole matching thing, they are bots not people. After 7 loses in a row, it made me thing, this is dodgy and certainly makes me think it’s all manipulated. Sometimes I get paired with people from higher ranks than me (ultra, veteran and so on) and during the battle they do virtually nothing? No scoring, no supporting, they just walk around… how did they get to such high ranks? Not playing for sure. Maybe other players may feel what I’m saying here, I was the ‘winner’ in the group in 5 of those 7 battles and on the other 2 second. It’s not rocket science how to play. Losing is okay but losing because your team are lazy bots that don’t do anything, It’s unfair and not transparent. Wasn’t it supposed to be always people in the matching? That’s why the “matching”. ✓ Fun then stressfulThe game is beautiful, from the graphics in-game to the menu, the play style is very fun and gung-ho at first showing if you pick the right character, you can just bulldoze in standard. Then you unlock rank, and from the beginner rank to great-expert it gets very stressful. You’ll blame all kinds of things from the fact you can’t actually talk, your teammates are all focusing on one path in the first 5 minutes of the game, the skill gap, or even the age gap. I’m really competitive, and if you are too then I suggest you don’t play this game. It was enjoyable for the first three days then when I reached great class 3 I started to notice the big difference in how team oriented the teams aren’t. There’s no taking turns when it comes to character selection, so good luck if you’re playing a fan favorite Pokémon. No one will call the paths their taking leading to disorientation. The leveling system in-game is very shot and good luck if you have feeders on your team (teammates that will just kamikaze and level up your opponents). The respawn time is far too quick not leaving you enough time to score meaningful goals if you wipe the enemies on your path because they just come back 5 seconds later it seems. I really hope this game goes into the right direction because I really did enjoy it, but as for now it’s not enjoyable for anyone that wants to go competitive in it..Version: 1.2.1

You can probably buy 2-3 Pokémon out of almost 50 but then you have to get your card out. The more expensive Pokémon are the best, ie mew two and new released blaizeken. ✓ Its fun but has problemsFirst I like the game a lot I see a lot of potential but the problems are getting to me and a few others. First with the matchmaking, the teams are horrible, we have people on one Team who are level ones and just started vs level 20’s. Second the bugs in bosses, it doesn’t happen much but some times it won’t give anything or points to score with. Third the team mates who keep stealing kills and then you get nothing in return. Fourth the drop rates of everything. Finally make sure to be on top of keeping it interesting and keep the people coming back. I like the game a lot of love all of the Pokémon, the 14 day welcome, the whole premise and more but could you possibly slyly put in some story in the game or like make it show a story and we have to all figure it out. I hope you all see this I have high hopes for this game and I don’t want it to die out. Also the penalties for being kicked from a game or disconnecting and getting longer times to be able to X out of a game or just leave the game before it drags you in because sometimes it accidentally happens and then you just have to play or get a penalty. ✓ Fix your matchmakingWhat’s the point when reaching masters when no matter how many points you have such as 1600 you’ll be set up with anyone ranging from 1200 or just got into masters. There is nothing to strive for after masters you added new rewards but there’s no point to reaching them if your rank mode is terrible. One thing is for sure this game is not made for people who want to solo rank it’s only catered to team games. You will always be set up with bad teammates no matter what rank you are, masters will not change your teammates. As you play you’ll understand the mechanics of the game and once you reach that point you’ll realize how bad other people you play with really are. The game is fun if you don’t care about winning and are okay with losing. The new update added no bots, the irony, since you’ll still feel like you are playing with bots due to how horrible your teammates play. It’s sad to say the least but this game will surely die off in the future and the only thing keeping it alive is the Pokémon label. Until developers stopped caring about itInitially this was an amazingly almost perfect MOBA/pokemon game until the developers starting releasing BROKEN pokemon that completely threw the balance of the game out the window. Not only this but the matches started being filled with players who, when they can’t select this broken pokemon, either deliberately throw the match or are so dependent on this one pokemon that they can’t play any other ones/style and end up bringing down everyone else. ✓ A Little LackingA very VERY fun Leage of Legends styled game٫ though it's missing a lot of features that could really flesh out the experience and add some complexity. •Controller Support- While movement isn't the most important of this game٫ it could really benefit with controller support allowing players who chose to use them a more confortable method of manueverability. Ideally controls would be customizable. •Guarding/Dodging- Something akin to Pokken Tournament's guarding system or any guarding system at all can really change how people play. Maybe guarding provides invincibility to normal attacks but gets shattered by Sp. Attacks. Or maybe a guard can only be activated breifly٫ giving near invincibility immediately after it used and getting weaker after just a couple milliseconds before dispersing. "Flash Guarding" Or somethin' like that--keeps players from holding defense and promotes timing the move to the opponent's use of their specials. Furthermore٫ something like dodging can offer a bit of defensive mobility٫ offering intangibility in place of speed. There are also MASSIVE connectivity issues. The game insists that my connection is poor despite being several feet away from my modem or despite my using data. My only issue is how I can never play the game, as there are so many glitches, no matter how many times I update this game. ✓ Fun game! Big issues!The game is great and it’s enjoyable - a fairly easy-to-play MOBA that is less of a grind to climb ranks on. Major issues are that there seem to be a lot of inexperienced players who sabotage games even in high ranks. You also can’t lock in a role… so players constantly steal your role which starts you off from behind as you will lose out on your first couple of power spikes due to losing xp. Many times I lock in a role, and then someone just locks it in as well, or doesn’t even lock it in then just steals your xp when the games begins. Lastly - zapdos. You can play well all game but nothing really matters except getting zapdos and getting those final big scores… this can be frustrating as every game hinges on a coin flip that has nothing to do with your performance. The developers should focus on improving the Pokémon select screen and working out a way to make the game more balanced in terms of objectives. They should also take reports of trolling players more seriously… so far the only reports they seem to acknowledge is afk players..Version: 1.4.1.5

Your rank is based around the performance of your team instead of your solo performance. I have been man of the match 3 times, scoring the most points and getting the most kills compared to both teams, however if my team loses I will still rank down. 2 of the games I have played, half my team went AFK. I single handedly scored 3x more points than the 2nd best player, but the other team still managed to win and therefore I ranked down. Now I am playing against bad players in a lower rank, leading to a large gap in skill level despite all being the same rank. Please developers, I am begging you base ranking around personal performance instead of team performance, otherwise we would have terrible players in high ranks due to their team winning, and amazing players in low ranks due to their team idling in battle..Version: 1.2.1
✓ My rubbish teammatesAlmost all of my teammates are rubbish. For example, in 1 game, 3 of my teammates only took about 10% damage to my opponents’ Pokémon and one of them left the game early. Although I won the game, but only the guy that left the game early was published, he just lost 10 credit points. It means that he only lose the chances that get 20 IP per day, but he can still qualifying completion. So I think this game should have a system that make player can ban someone becoming their teammates. In addition, if a player leave the game early in qualifying completion, he should get more serious punishments, like they can not take part in the qualifying completion this week and his teammates should get more compensation. If that team is lose, all lost players(except the player who leave the game) will not lose 1 star. If that team is win, they should get more star..Version: 1.6.1.1

✓ I (would) love it1v1 battle and does its job immaculately. However, it isn’t the game that needs work. it’s the many UI that the developers need to adjust. Currently, there is no way to customize your screen completely to one’s preference, only allowing it to be moved slightly around the bottom of the interface. I feel as if a completely customized screen would help for players to play Pokemon Unite on Mobile so much better! Secondly, there are mechanics in this game where players can communicate via microphone or pings. If one were to use the microphone in any way, saying things such as, “Come help with the objective please,” they would instantly get banned. There needs to be a rework of this system, as well as the ping system. Some players tend to abuse this ping system and instead use it in terms of negative reinforcement, such as spamming a “Thanks!” ping. There is no way to mute this, and this needs to be addressed. ✓ Can’t be any worseThe game is heavily revolves around teamwork and scoring points which it doesn’t even reward. Players are so focused around getting kills that scoring points doesn’t even enter their mind. The Ranking system is on a whole other level when it comes to awarding players who still have no clue how to play the game into high ranks allowing those who want to rank up to be heavily disappointed and have to beat the top of their game every game to have a slight chance of winning. The chance gets even worse when you come into a team where none of them apart from you are the only ones scoring. ✓ Great fun, But…I love Pokémon in general. It is my most played game. And i have really enjoyed playing Pokémon unite, it’s fun and nice to play as Pokémon with different play styles. However. A big problem I have found is the balancing is awful. I understand that there are events and tournaments going on so balancing the Pokémon can’t be done all the time. But for a super strong and severely unbalanced Pokémon to appear every other game and cause mayhem for an extended period of time, sometimes months, is just disappointing and tilting. I have never felt more fed up with a game more than this one. There needs to be more communication with the devs. Not only that but it does not feel very generous either. Sometimes events pop up with a chance to win something good, which looks fairly in your favour, but the odds of actually winning are nearly impossible, it’s a con. As well as holowear being so expensive and the in game currency (Gems) being unobtainable through any other then spending real money is a shame. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great time, and I may still continue playing, but I just can’t commit loads of time to a game that is more frustrating then fun. Devs really need to listen to the community and stop buffing Pokemon only when it’s getting a new holowear. It’s unfair..Version: 1.10.1.1
