✓ Pretty good BUT...This game looks great and everything but the crafting system is trash. It takes forever to get enough recourses to build relationship points in order to get to the next level and also to craft necessary items in order to get a good score. I also wish we had more lgbtq choices / representation. I know there probably wont be because of the stigma against it but its 2021 and i just want more diversity in games :( Update! Ive knocked down yet another star because the poc (specifically south asian) characters look WHITE. Its very weird.. in that place (the desert, middle east) many if not most people have at least some color to them but the characters are a dull, pasty white color. I wish i could go in and design them myself. Also none of the male characters are aesthetically pleasing to me in the face so i realllyyyyy wish we could change the appearance of them, and, the gender. Maybe there could be a story where the protagonist is a boy, maybe ? Not just the same girl all the time?.Version: 1.0.43

✓ Love this gameI love this game, and I would definitely get it. I feel that to play it you don’t have to use money. I have a lot of in game money, and I did not spend to get it. Anyways, I like that this game has so many different story’s. Not only that, but you can breed cats, and you can even play lots of separate mini games. Once you are able to chat at level ten, it is really fun to be part of the chat themes. And I would never forget to mention the beautiful dresses. Just warning you, you can’t chose any outfit for any story. But I love how entertaining it is! The different story’s have amazing choices and romance in most of them. The story’s are really intriguing, and if you like mystery, they have mystery. If you like horror, it’s there. Any genre you can imagine. I downloaded this game, and I will never regret it. You have to start with Queen Marie, but then you can chose any story. I love this game so much. Definitely play it. (Side note: the second story is Romy and Julius).Version: 1.17.2

✓ The Perfect Game: Should have more stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I have had this game for exactly one-hundred and eighty-one days. And these days have been nothing but fun. This game covers so many of my gaming needs. I used to jump between games, getting bored of them after just a week. So the fact that I’m still playing this game is very impressive - almost as impressive as the game itself. This game has very engaging storylines, the graphics are some of the best that I have ever seen on a mobile game, there are cats that you can dress up (OMG they’re so cuuuuteeee!!!), and there are mini games to play when you get bored. And you are not bombarded by ads. It’s the perfect game for me. There is only one improvement I think could be made. It may be a good idea to provide players with a reason to reach 100% in a story. We are spending a lot of coins, gems, and stamina to get outfits we may not want or need for the story. Something that could be done is to reward players with a background related to the story. (We only have a few so far.) You already have so many beautiful backgrounds that are used throughout the stages - these could be the backgrounds that are rewarded. This would provide players with more motivation to complete a story. That’s it! But if you are considering getting this game….do it! It’s one of the best ones I have played!!! :).Version: 1.7.0

✓ Great but needs improvementsI really like the game. The concept is really good and the graphics are amazing. I’m currently only on the Marie Antoinette story line but it’s very interesting. Couple of things I hope to see improved. First one is that it is really difficult to acquire materials to make an item, and having to use loads of stamina makes it even longer. This makes it a bit tiresome and I feel like I might give up because it will probably only get harder. Second thing is that the game does seem to crash a little often. Not sure why that is but I can’t complete levels as every time I try get to the same spot in a stage it crashes again. Lastly sometimes when I’ve opened the game a message will appear saying ‘login session expired’ and then it doesn’t load. I’ve re-downloaded the game twice because of this. Other than that I think this game has a lot of promise and I will definitely continue to play!.Version: 1.0.14

Amazing details, books or stories 🌸 and the clothes are heavenly 🥹😩 But I have a problem… it’s a racial problem lol. There’s almost about 50 companions in this game for the stories, heck ALL OF EM are white like ain’t no blacks at all. And they have over 20 books, tbh a family member of mine got mad when I told them the characters in the Cleopatra book were WHItE 😗 and ummmm that ain’t right. Jesus they barley had a tan going on. In ancient times Egyptians skin was NOT that color 👁👄👁 this game ONLY has about three very lightish tanned characters and one Indian ….. needless to say I’m not pleased 😂😅 and this tells you about them. BUTTTT beautiful clothing, graphics, hair and nails. ✓ Good game but pls make gems easier to getI think time princess is a really fun game since there is really much to do and it’s a good way to kill time. The clothing is amazing, the stories are really interesting and there are many fun events. The only thing I wish was a bit easier to get, is diamonds. There are many ways to get them but every time it’s usually a small amount and there are many ways to spend them. ✓ Amazing but with a couple issuesI find that the stories are really fun and immersive and allow you to play the route you want without having to pay, the whole dress up concept mixed with choices is an amazing idea. the only qualm is that you need certain garments to pass levels and it is super difficult to grind when you only get like 1 material for 15 stamina but need 50 or more to create the garment. I find myself getting stuck with nothing to do in game a lot and just having to leave for several hours to wait for stamina. It would be nice if there were more ways to get stamina or if you were able to get more than just one of each material from an encounter. I also like how you can increase ur relationship with other characters outside of the story it makes for more realistic interactions when you read the chapters. Some levels require you to be at a certain level of goodwill with characters to play. But it’s hard to know when they’ll be available to interact with. I think there needs to be some sort of timer as to how long companions will be away for, I know there’s the notification feature but it’s quite frustrating when I’m away from my phone and don’t know if they already returned and then left again..Version: 1.0.27

✓ The quality is actually...good!?I usually download games from scammy-looking ads just for kicks, but Dress Up Time Princess genuinely shocked me. The graphics and visuals are beyond my expectations for a mobile game and I ADORE the historical aspect of the stories as it feels concrete and tangible as compared to the fluffy magic fantasy world I was expecting from these types of games. Also, I didn’t expect constant character animations to appear in a dress-up game, which is huge plus for me compared to other dress up games where the models barely emote. (*cough* Love Nikki *cough*) The daily awards and mini games are what keep me coming back because it doesn’t feel like anything is unfairly being held back from the player. You have to keep playing to win (as a game SHOULD!). My expectations for mobile games in general were so low by my past experiences, playing Time Princess is like finding a Gordon Ramsey filet mignon in a McDonalds. The most pleasant surprise of the year! (Minor criticism tho: I would like the ability to sort the blueprints by which ones I don’t have at the top of the menu and put the ones I already made closer to the bottom or greyed out. Maybe a pop-up that states “You already have this item. Would you like to craft another?” would prevent any crafting accidents. ✓ Great game!I adore this game. i am constantly playing it! the graphics are fantastic and the story is beautiful (currently on the Marie Antoinette one). I cannot get enough of it. I absolutely love how many dresses there are (they’re beautiful) and although it takes a little while to acquire the materials i need, it is always worth it. i also love the fact that you can edit your main character’s skin tone and face shape etc etc. i have a lot of games like this where the character is typically white and you can’t change it and i love that you can edit as much as you want on this! favourite game in a long time 🤩👍🏽.Version: 1.0.25

Little changes here and there that make gameplay much easier such as multi-buy option & one touch to multi-interact with characters! Thank you devs!! This game is truly wonderful with many interesting features from great choice based storyline to customised fashion, romantic partners & even a bit of a history lesson! I will say, making some of the clothes to pass levels takes A LOT of material and it takes quite a lot of stamina to gain. ✓ GREAT game - one storyline issueThis game is brilliant! The storyline is really intriguing, the choices are fun, the characters are interesting and the graphics are beautiful. Overall I love this game (except possibly the amount of time it takes to craft a dress). The one issue I had was in level 1-14 of Queen Marie Antionette... I was basically forced to murder someone. When I was given a choice over how to deal with Jeanne, my choices were to execute her privately or execute her in public! I had to murder her, there was no other choice! And then the characters started talking about how it was JUSTICE! How is killing someone JUSTICE?! I’m horrified that anyone could think ending someone’s life is okay. Maybe it’s because they executed people lots at that time - but my character’s from the present day! At least give me an option to spare her life and not become a MURDERER! If possible, I’d really like this choice to be rewritten so I don’t have to murder or torture her, because I really can’t look at my character the same. ✓ Such an amazing game but one problemOkay so I’ve been playing this game for about 9 days and I love it, it’s so fun and has such amazing graphics and stories! But I have one complaint at the moment. Please make it easier to get lucky jerry tickets! I spent ages to finally get ten and all I got were 2 ugly gloves and a pair of bad shoes I will never use. I spent ages trying to get the tickets and diamonds and I hated what I got, especially when there are so many wonderful clothing items. As others have commented, the only issue I’m finding is that items required for later levels take such a long time to accumulate that the game really starts to lose momentum. ✓ Best game I’ve Played in Years (and suggestions for updates)This game first grabbed my attention as a passing add and I assumed it to be another run of the mill, cheap money grabber. However, I was enthralled to learn that this game is actually a masterpiece. The game adheres to both the story loving and period-style dressing I adore! While I have spent money on this game, you do not need to in order to unlock any special areas. Once you download the game you have caress to everything. Both the diamond and gold currencies are able to be obtained simply through gameplay. Additional supplies can be bought in the store if you so choose. Finally, with the newest update, I am excited to see not only a new story, but also the introduction to a live chat room! I love the idea of seeking advise from more seasoned players and seeking specific clothing items to be shared! Nevertheless, the chat certainly needs a few improvements to make it an easier user experience; 1) chat moderators. Players or bots so help remove the spammers. 2). Chat room size limits. Not that I don’t love talking to everyone but it quite difficult to hold a conversation. 3). The ability to scroll back up in chat without the new messages forcing you back to the bottom. ✓ Fun GameI’ve had this game for over a year now and I’d say overall they’ve improved a lot of the issues (particularly quantities of crafting materials) for newer stories. I’d say, going off of what several people have said my main frustration at this point is that they have events where you can buy outfits (I do spend money on this game, but not an egregious amount) but you typically only get the blueprint and therefore still have to craft the items that you pay actual money for and they typically use waaaaaay more materials than the story items. The season outfits and the fantasy fair clothing are great because once you buy them you have them and don’t have to use any crafting materials to get them. I think they could balance out between people willing to spend money vs those who don’t want to and just give you the items if you pay real money and have other players use diamonds for blueprints and use materials to craft as usual. I think they have been pretty good about taking in complaints and trying to fix issues with the game so that’s really my main complaint. I know some people don’t like that they release a story per month now, but some of us who have been playing longer have essentially played out all the older stories so I think that’s how they incentivize people to stay. Not to mention, not all the stories appeal to everyone so I think it’s good that they’re adding a variety..Version: 1.5.2

✓ It can use improvementI’ve often played like games like this before and usually they don’t last long. Usually because of horrible story lines but this one is so awesome! I have to give y’all kudos, these stories are so fun! The outfits are appealing and the UE design is appealing as well. Kahir’s skin on the other hand make him look just a little sickly. Perhaps the skin itself was too small for his UV’s and they got blown up just a little or the opposite. His eyes haunt me too. The craft system is excellent in theory but the materials are so hard to come by naturally and to use them is making me reluctant since some of them cause you to stockpile them just to create a single item. The encounters are a good way to come across them but only getting one or perhaps two item per encounter at the expense of stamina requires some saintly patience especially when you hit a wall with required items. Then it’s a really long waiting game. Especially with the endless cycle of resetting the board of who is there with cash, run out of stamina out in perhaps five to six encounters and come out with barely a quarter of the craft items excluding the items used to make gifts. One hellish waiting game. The cats are helpful, but add to the turmoil..Version: 1.0.28

✓ Very good and interestingThe game is soo much fun and the stories where you get to choose your path is very interesting. The mini games and cats are also very cute and enjoyable. The only downside for me was how expensive and time consuming it was to be able to buy a new dress. ✓ Love it but could be improvedI downloaded it because of the ads I saw and wanted to see if it lived up to the graphics in the ads, and much to my surprise it did. I really like the storyline’s in the different books, the clothing, and the tasks. However, it does become quite tedious when trying to craft a clothing item in the higher levels as you need to acquire a LOT of materials and money to craft them. You end up getting stuck on levels and not being able to progress for WEEKS until you finally have all the crafting items you need. ✓ I love love love this gameI’ve now been playing this for 4 months and honestly love it so much. It gives you some historically accurate insights, and the story builds up slowly. The options that it gives you actually make you in charge of the story and you can truly achieve multiple varied endings depending on how you choose. Sometimes you can’t play an episode because you have to gather materials for a needed clothing item but after you’ve crafted it, it’s more rewarding the move forward in the story. If your outfit is perfect you can replay those episodes for no energy and can change options for a different outcome. I love how it also doesn’t have any adverts in the game only in game purchases but even those aren’t pushed on you. The daily energy that you get is more than enough, it doesn’t run out too quickly and you can do a lot of things. It’s actually truly rewarding and sometimes I wonder why it’s free😂 I never ever write reviews but since I’ve been long term playing this I wanted to share..Version: 1.0.39

✓ A few recommendationsI absolutely love this game, yes there are many sets you have to pay for but it is completely playable if you play for free (I do that actually!!). I’ve had this game for a while now and I love how it upgrades and improves overtime. Just a thing, though, is that in season sets there isn’t much time to buy/wish for. It does get a bit frustrating considering the sets are so well done and there won’t be a next time to get those sets. ✓ Easily the most fun game I have ever playedThere’s really no two ways about it, I simply love this game. It is so much fun, there is always something to do, there are different events, and new things to try all the time! I love the stories, the music, the characters, the clothes, and absolutely the cats! I’m sure I’ve missed something I like but that’s okay. I play this game every day. I love doing the daily missions and puppet games. I especially love the Fantasy Fair mini game. It’s so fun. It stresses me out just a little because getting the coins in time before the fair ends seems kind of impossible. ✓ Brilliant game! I have some suggestions that I think would make it even better.I absolutely love this game! The graphics and music are beautiful, all of the dresses and items are intricately detailed, and unlike most mobile games, you’re able to enjoy the gameplay without spending real money to purchase the premium currency. I would love to see more room for coordinating outfits during levels— currently, the player is confined to crafting specific items/outfits in order to pass the levels. As a person who really likes the dress up feature, it would be really cool to have the freedom to put together my own outfits (whilst still achieving a decent score.) Mixing and matching garments is what draws myself (and I assume others) to dress up games, and I think it’d be really good to make the most of the stunning dresses and accessories by letting players apply their own style and taste a little bit more. One final note; I really wish there was the option for a female love interest! Adding one in would attract a whole new demographic, as it would have wider appeal. As cool as Lafayette and Fersen are, given the opportunity I would choose Gabrielle over them in a heartbeat. Overall, this is a fun game with stunning graphics, immersive music and a fine tuned attention to detail unmatched by other games of this type on the App Store. ✓ Love this game!I haven’t been playing this game for very long but I’ve played games that are similar before. I’ve always had to delete them after a little while because the introductions don’t completely explain what all of the buttons do. This game was clear about how to play and wasn’t complicated to understand. I’m loving the storyline and all of the beautiful dress designs. There was clearly a lot of effort put into the design of the game. I loved that I was able to make my character look more like myself. With most games you can’t and with the ones where you can it costs money or gems to get some items and makes it impossible to change much of your character. I do wish that it didn’t take five minutes to get one stamina. It takes a long time to do just about anything and right when I get really invested in the game I run out. It would be really helpful if you could watch videos to get stamina or to boost the speed that it recharges. But I can’t sync…I’ve logged into my iPad acc with Game Center, and I’ve also downloaded TP with my iPhone, however it seems that when I try to log in with Game Center on my phone, it only lets me log in to my new account, and make me restart the game. Ofc my iPad account is still in sync, but if my iPad is not near me or I got a new one, then I would have to completely restart the game. Both my accounts are under the same email address as well as same Game Center account. Don’t know what could’ve caused this, but I am hoping that I would be able to sync my accounts on both devices in the near future. But nonetheless, amazing clothing, storyline (except Ghost Manor and Lunar Legend) and it seems IGG is always pumping out new updates. A lot of the other stories are still great though, my favorites are Ancient Dreams and Sacred Beast. But for me, the payoff when I finally get them is that much more satisfying. And there are SO many other little things to do in this game! My suggestions: To streamline the design process, I think an option that offers to hide all blueprints already used to create an item of clothing would be useful. This would make it easier to find the clothes that a user still needs to make. Second, I would love to see another way to collect materials, especially cotton and leather. Cotton and leather are often required in large amounts for any dress, and I am having trouble grinding to meet those needs. ✓ Wonderful but one thingI am in love with this game, the dresses are stunning, the graphics beautiful, story captivating and the characters are so lovingly designed. I like that you have to craft dresses yourself through items gained through tasks and buying different items because it gives you little things to work towards. Having said that later on some of the dresses become so expensive and the energy to do the required side tasks high that most of my days have been spent just waiting for energy then spending it all in just tasks. I haven’t been able to progress in the story in a while. I think more energy is needed in later levels so making expensive dresses can still be a challenge without being a tedious battle to get materials just to go one more step in the story. But that’s just a balancing act and I understand the game is constantly growing. I look forward to seeing how this game grows because the love and passion in it is clear. The creators have wanted to make a stunning experience. While I’m not for spending money on apps I’d happily buy this as a full game to play on other platforms. ✓ A Magical ExperienceThis game so far for me has been just amazing! I love everything about it and can’t wait for more stories! It is really engaging and sometimes I feel like I’m actually there! Lovely clothes, awesome 3D experience and the stories are very fun! One thing that has been a problem is running out of stamina really easily. ✓ Love it!I really like the game - I just wish there were more ways to get coins for free, or when you unlock achievements you get more coins because you can run out really quickly. But other than that, the game is really amazing from all aspects: animation, plot, interaction, design, etc. Personally, I especially love the realistic animation because I think that is part of what sets it apart from a lot of the other dress up games and I also just find it interesting to watch. And I just thought of this, but even though I doubt there’s any change that could be made now when the story appears finished, I wish there was more interaction opportunities in the main story with King Louis XVI (are those the numerals?) because he’s my favourite companion. As well as the companions other than Lafayette and Fersen because it seems you can’t get through the story without having some moments with them, which I wouldn’t mind, but then again you can’t have any intimate moments with Louis (as far as I’ve gotten) which I find kinda disappointing..Version: 1.0.27
✓ Improvement!A lot of interfaces are much easier to deal with, and many quality of life updates definitely improve the experience! The game still crashes, but I’ve found that if you let the text proceed naturally instead of trying to speed it up it reduces the frequency of forced exits from the app. It’s not 100% effective but I finally made it through 2-4 on queen Marie, which I’d been stuck on for at least a week because it always kicked me out around the same place in the stage. With the way things are going I think they’ll be able to fix that issue soon, but until then, try being patient and only clicking to continue once dialogue or other text has advanced naturally..Version: 1.0.18
✓ Very fun, but could be more inclusive.First I want to start this review with saying that this game is very fun, the outfits and character designs are beautiful, and the stories do a great job at getting you invested in what’s going on - I’ve definitely spent hours playing this game without realizing it. It’s also pretty easy to get coins and gems without pulling out the wallet, which is something other games struggle with. However, there is one glaring issue that I’m sure others may have noticed. This game is very . . . White. There are little to no POC characters, and even the ones that are supposed to be poc still appear predominantly white with fair skin instead of darker tones. It’s nice that they allow for our own characters to have various skin tones to represent us, the player, better - but it sort of defeats the purpose of having that as an option when the drawn images you receive in stories still shows our character as a white woman even if we aren’t. Now I know these images were most likely pre-drawn, but it wouldn’t be that hard to have alternates with different skin colors to better represent the player (I’ve seen it done in other games). This is really the only reason I’ve given it 4 starts instead of 5. TL;DR: The game is super fun and beautiful, resources are easy to get without money - but poc aren’t included as much as they could be..Version: 1.15.3
✓ Love! But so much space…IN LOVE WITH THIS GAME! They have improved so much! The clothes and activities the storylines are amazing! The detail of the animation!!! One thing though, it takes up A LOT of storage. And for what…? I do hate how for each item it asks to download it; which I understand players might not want that. But it’s just such an inconvenience. ✓ Wonderfully addictive but just a couple issues I guess?I’m really loving the story(s) but I would wish it weren’t so irritating to get crafting materials or get diamonds to buy certain materials/ schematics, which can sometimes make it hard to get a better score (without the appropriate attire .. though I suppose that’s part of the challenge) I ADORE the cats/ kitties so much, I would like to able to interact with them more but otherwise they are super cute and useful I would like it if it was a little easier to get diamonds You can replenish your heart/ stamina actions by using diamonds which is a great idea but it can end up costing a lot of diamonds which is annoying when you’re trying to save your diamonds to get schematics Over all, it’s a very enjoyable game and I would DEFINITELY recommend it, but it does require patience and it’s a bit annoying at times.Version: 1.0.45

✓ Needs patience to play, but still rewardingOne of the best dress up games I’ve played on IOS, gorgeous graphics and interesting story, really great UI too, it does take time to do things but if you are a completionist like me you’ll love getting every item and unlocking every story option. And it has story options! Which actually influence the way the story ends up! Also the outfits are stunning and every user I’ve met on the app has been super nice, couldn’t recommend this game more. ✓ Please read thisThis game is NOT like other games if you you run out to of stamina you can play mini games of the playroom stuff or even just free dress with outfits. You actually can get FREE outfits like by logging in. But theres like a major problem and that is the time loading for some stages so in a servants resolve ( spin off from queen marie) you need to wait 1h unclock q stage or you can spend 85 diamonds to unlock it now ok so if it's like 10 diamonds I'll deal with it but like 85 is way to much and I don't have that much time to wait. But only a few books have this problem so j won't push that to far. But overall this is a good game. For people on level 1. Claim diamond in event centre or obtain full sets of clothing for 100 diamonds join society beuty and style 2. Th blind box buy box worth 499 diamonds for 25 blind box tokens. ✓ A good game with a lot of potentialI found this game via an advertisement on another game and decided to download it. I didn’t have any expectations, I just loved the animation. As I got into the game I fell in love with the story and how interactive it is with 3D characters. There’s the side of it where you have to get materials to make new clothes and unlock more chapters and I see a lot of people complain about how ‘hard’ it is but it isn’t. It seems those people only play for the story and not the development of the game, having everything unlocked isn’t fun and patience is required. I play other otome games and I know that it’s the case of taking the time to collect to unlock the story or just pay your way through. I like that it’s not as easy because then I can’t rush the story and I get a chance to fully appreciate the game for what it is. Although I say all of this it seems the game isn’t finished and it as the potential to go higher and reach bigger things with the story line, the clothes, the avatar customisations etc so I hope developers look into ways the game can be better by looking at other games that have story telling or otome game then using their original ideas they can make something great but for what it is now, this game has a good start and I’ll continue to watch and play as it becomes something great.Version: 1.0.14

✓ Beautiful Game!I’m always skeptical of games that advertise with the 3D type graphics as they often don’t actually have them but this games advertisements are true to gameplay! The game is beautiful, has era appropriate clothes and a gripping storyline so far. It succeeds in the areas that make me keep playing as opposed to competitor apps and as far as I have gone it isn’t shoving micro-transactions and pay-only outfits in your face. My only issue is that outfit crafting materials are really hard to get so it sometimes takes me days to get an outfit I need to perfect a stage (not a requirement to move on through the story though!) A positive though is that the developers are responsive to issues players are having and since the game is in early stages it’s likely they’ll fix it soon. ✓ The only game I like - no, loveThis is such a beautifully made game with so many intricate pieces. The outfits are Gorgeous and to die for. You may have to search to find ones you really like - Gotham memoirs - is one of my absolute favourites. But they have so many options and genres for what you’re feeling. ✓ Incredible!I’ve been playing this game for a good few days now and i am in love with it! I’ve seen that some are complaint that it’s a slow burner to collect the materials and you have to buy starter packs and stuff but you don’t! ✓ It’s good but-I got this game after it was recommended to me by a friend, and as I’m really fond of Rococo fashion I decided to get it. However there was one thing which really stuck out to me. There’s a major lack of diversity within the game, everyone who’s displayed in the adverts are white- there’s an ton of white skin tones- you can only choose a selected few white people to put as your profile picture. ✓ Dang, it’s like a better coco gameThis game is honestly amazing! You guys really tried with the animation, so it’s not crappy. The story’s are well written and well thought of. However sometimes the chat can be honestly toxic, I try to say something I need and I double space just so people don’t overlook it, and it gets called spam by someone else! Not only that, but I feel as if my opinion isn’t welcome, which to be honest is really kinda rude when I feel that way. I want to report some of those people but it’s probably not going to be enough evidence to actually get them away from the chat. Alright, that was my rant, now it’s time to discuss the glitch I recently experienced. The glitch makes it impossible to tap anything, and I have to rub my screen over and over again to make it work once more, it works for about 5 seconds before glitching out.
