✓ Good, but needs improvementsThis app is good and allows you to interact with people who like the same groups as you while also keeping up to date with what the artists are doing. There have been improvements since the app was first launched, however there are still improvements that are required. Such as being able to message other fans easier, being able to see comments on your own page and of course, subtitles on the videos and radio content..Version: 0.9.18
✓ Can’t even log in ...This app is still full of bugs and glitches. It’s slow and sticky doesn’t update activity in real time. There are no subtitles on video content so international fans can’t enjoy any of it. I won’t talk about the avatars.... AND now I can’t even log in. ✓ Won’t even let me loginI’ve tried so many times to login, even with all the different ways to login. After logging in with one of the services the app opens a blank white screen with “ 약관동의” on it which according to google translate means agreement to terms and conditions. There is no where to select or do anything on that screen and when you close it out it brings you back to the login screen. It repeats this over and over again with no change. ✓ Beta-TestingThe potential for this app seems cool, but as it is right now it’s much too unstable. I’m not sure if it’s because of server traffic or it just wasn’t well equipped as an international server, but I think it needed a lot more testing before it got launched (although that might have had to do with deadlines lol.) Probably the most important (and annoying) is to stabilize the server, then I’d suggest maybe focusing on the messaging/commenting system (i.e. not being able to use emojis.) ✓ QR Code Scanning Gone 😭I wish I knew sooner that the QR code scanning feature was going to be removed (an email would’ve been nice as I don’t check the app 24/7). ✓ Wish it was a better APP for AteezHonestly, I just got this app only to support Ateez and watch all the Universe specific content which there is more of then just in Youtube. There are a few things I really hate about this app. I would like to be able to cast the shows to my TV or atleast do screen mirroring so I can watch their shows comfortably. It has no cast option and when I mirror the phone, only when I go into universe it doesn’t allow me to mirror the video (both plugged in and digitally mirrored). Now I’m forced to watch it only on my small phone screen. When I try to download the app on my Chromebook it crashes each time so not an option again. There also times where the video just freezes and I have to keep restarting the app. Overall it’s disappointing that our boys get an App like this. Honestly Ateez is going to get much bigger and bigger because they are so talented. There will come a time where Universe app won’t be able to service all the fans. I wish they would switch to a different app soon because of these problems or they would make a lot of improvements. While I can watch videos, teasers and scroll through the artists feeds, I cannot watch and download more than one picture at a time. For example, on the ATEEZ page you can see photoshoots for new promotions etc. if I click on, say, Jongho for example and press to view the photoshoot, I only have enough time to view and download one photo before the app crashes. And it’s been happening quite a lot, or sometimes the app itself takes forever to start and the U sign just stares back at you on a black screen. The app is good, not 5 stars but manageable. It’s a hit or miss, either it works or it doesn’t. Considering we pay monthly, the app should at least work properly. I’ve considered quitting my membership because sometimes I don’t think the app is even worth it.
