✓ Sadly addictiveA great time waster. The recent interface changes have definitely helped. I like the ‘special events’ that slowly uncover another picture (the ‘Adventures’ don’t engage me as much). My kids like trying to guess what the picture will be - though with the 10 x 10 grids they sometimes don’t bear much resemblance to what they’re supposed to be. A small nitpick - I’d like the puzzle grid to linger on the screen a bit longer after you’ve coloured the last tile, prior to switching to the ‘smooth’ picture..Version: 2.0.0
✓ Size & ColourLove Nonogram monochrome so thought I’d try this one. But agree with previous comments - the grey is too close to the background colour so strains the eyes. ✓ Great game with some issuesI love these puzzles and play them nearly every day. They are one of the few things that I am able to focus on when dealing with a flare in my chronic pain. The only problem is that the game does have some bugs. In the past there has been some lagging in the game that sometimes even spreads to other apps while the game is open. There have also occasionally been times where after completing a level, the button to continue does not appear and I have to close the app and reopen it to start a new level. Since the most recent update, the problem with the continue button has been occurring after each and every level and it is exhausting closing the app each time. I am considering decreasing my usage of the app until this problem is resolved..Version: 2.18.0
✓ Great way to relaxI do the daily puzzles and events every night to relax before I go to bed, and I love it. I’m still not a fan of how colors become unusable after that puzzle’s number of that color have been used regardless of whether or not it’s correct, but that’s a minor annoyance. At this point the only big thing I’d like this app to implement is syncing between devices. Some puzzles are too small for my phone screen and I’d love to be able to go back and forth between my phone and my iPad..Version: 1.9.3
✓ Love it but....Please let me choose to play just hard games. I hate the easy and medium ones they are so boring and I hate that I have to play them to get through events. Expert games would be great too! Another feature request is to automatically fade or cross out the numbers when part of a line is completed. ✓ Great but needs small tweaksI love this game! I started with the black and white one which is also great. But when doing the colors, some of them look very similar and it’s hard to tell them apart so I second the review that suggested to highlight / indicate which color you have selected so you know which rows/columns it is in. Also for super light colors like light pink and yellow, the number in the box is still white so that’s very difficult to see and I wish that could get fixed. Also sometimes when clicking on a puzzle in the events, the ‘continue’ and ‘restart’ buttons switch places so I often click on the wrong one and lose my progress- so I’d like them to stay in the same place (e.g., continue on top, restart on bottom).Version: 1.9.0

✓ Good for Nonogram BeginnersI consider myself an amateur when it comes to doing nonogram puzzles, so having an app that allows you to play countless puzzles in colour form is a great way to learn and improve your puzzling techniques. I give this 4 stars out of 5 due to the fact that some of the solved puzzles don’t seem to resemble their titled images very much. Some more details would be great to see once you finish a puzzle, making it more satisfying after filling in that last grid square. The other reason is because there’s no dark mode. It can be harsh on the eyes when you’re working with a white background, especially when you want to play this game at night..Version: 2.1.0

✓ Love it, but I’m colorblindI absolutely love this game! I started with regular nonograms and then saw this one was available too and had to try it. I love the concept and that it requires a different strategy. I look forward to midnight when the daily puzzle is available and I look forward to the events (I’m aware, I live a sad life, lol) However, I have red-green colorblindness. This makes the puzzles a little more difficult. Thankfully I paid for the app so when I screw up on the colors, it doesn’t affect me too bad. One suggestion to make the app more pleasing to my eye (and possibly everyone else’s, as the numbers/blocks are quite small), it would help if the colors on the side/top of the puzzle could be highlighted when choosing the colors at the bottom of the puzzle. (For reference, the colored nonograms in the Puzzle Page app does this). It makes the color choices more clear and thus fewer mistakes. Thank you for listening to my review! Please add an option so that players could transfer our data to new devices. ✓ Great game, but can’t choose difficultyThe game is really fun, the levels are engaging and the mechanics are smooth. I prefer to play it on classic mode, so I love that there is that option. However, there is no way to choose the difficulty of the level that you are playing. I wish you could choose to play easy, medium, or hard difficulty, like on the regular nonogram app by the same developer. I’m currently past level 1700, and the easy and medium levels are just not as engaging for me. If I could, I would just be doing hard levels. If this was changed, it would absolutely be a 5 star game, but as it is, it is very frustrating to have to play through 3 or 4 easy and medium levels just to get to play 1 hard level..Version: 3.2.0
✓ Really ver goodHi there I just wanted to say that I love your game. I only have 1 problem. I don’t like the classic mode so I play standard all of the time. However, if you make 3 mistakes in standard mode then u have to watch an ad to get just 1. I have ADHD and dyslexia so I make a lot of mistakes so I think it would be good to watch a video for 2 or 3 hearts not just 1 and also not repeating the same ads over and over again. ✓ Much better than other nonogram apps but…There needs to be more challenge in some of the levels! I’ve loved the ones where I’ve had to really think about the colours and where they should go. There should be an expert mode, or at least harder ‘hard’ levels. But, I really appreciate this app for what it is. ✓ Love this app! Would love to see...I really enjoy this game! It’s a nice, challenging step up after the normal black and white Nonogram game. I would love to see the addition of a free play mode. I would like to create my own pictures with my own color schemes, with the option to save in “My Gallery/Creations” or something like that. I think it could be very therapeutic for some people, like myself, to have the option to create pictures, without the stress of counting blocks. ✓ Really enjoyableI play this all the time, so the regular puzzle themes help to keep it fresh. I have one thing which would really help though. I’ve recently suffered a loss of vision and so the yellow colour is hard for me to register, and I can’t really see the numbers on the yellow backgrounds. ✓ Great...but!Love playing these puzzles have coloured in huge ones with a pencil for many years. My problem with the game is the fact that the are numbers written in the colour and I can’t distinguish between a 5 and a 6, 6 and 8 etc so I’m making mistakes that lose me lives!! ✓ Great game!I LOVE this game as well as the original non colored version. My husband and I like to compete to see who can reach certain achievements first. It’s a little more challenging than the original version but I love them both! One complaint (which I already seen listed below), when switching between nonograms regular and nonograms color, the options to “continue” and “restart” are swapped so I end up restarting many of the colored levels by accident, which is kind of annoying (please fix this!) but the game is still really fun and I definitely recommend it to anyone that enjoys puzzle games!.Version: 1.6.0
✓ Love it! ...except one thing!I love this game. I love the black and white Nonogram too. The difference between the two that drives me nuts is the black and white version makes it SO much easier to tell if you’ve completed a column/row with the shading of the end caps with the numbers so you know you can put x’s in the rest of that row/column. With the colored version, there’s a lot going on with all of the numbers and colors on those end caps so, when you complete a row/column it’s REALLY hard to tell if the shading is whited out or not to put in the rest of those x’s. Other than that! The game is great. You don’t get to pick which level a difficult but, I almost like it like this because it reminds me of the random challenges in the black and white version..Version: 1.0

✓ Great, but bad controlsThis game is pretty and bright. Second thing I like is the fun of gradually discovering each picture. Also the logic required is a fun challenge. Unfortunately, the buttons used for filling in colors or X (no color) I find non-intuitive. I have made dozens of errors. It because of bad logic, but because the button was set to an unexpected combination of color and function. You have to tap colors to “load” the two-state button and switch the button to the right state. Get part of that wrong before touching the picture, and it dings you! To make it worse, the game also switches color and button state without the player making that choice. You’ll find yourself thinking “That’s not what I asked for! Why did it do that?” Far better would have been one button for each color plus one button for X. Tap the color or X you want to place and tap the board where you want to place it..Version: 1.9.0

✓ Love this game, but some issuesI recently installed this game after being an avid B&W player for so long. It’s been great so far, but I have 2 main issues that I feel could be easily fixed. 1. When you finish a row or column, it vibrates and greys out the numbers, but unlike the B&W version, the area where the numbers/colors are doesn’t turn white. I don’t play with auto crosses on because I like to do everything myself, so it can be confusing if I’m going quickly through a level to tell if that row or column is done. In B&W I just look to see if a row or column is white instead of the normal grey color. 2. I’m 101 levels in currently and don’t see a way to choose difficulty? B&W has this option, and I like playing the hard and expert levels. If these issues could be taken care of I feel the game would be perfect for all who play it 👍.Version: 2.16.0

✓ Meh ishI think it’s a little unfair that you have hearts (lives) in the game because I was not advertised any. If you’re gonna put in something, the least you could do is show it in any ads. Now , you could argue the lives were added after the ads had been sent out to the internet. But, really you can’t. ✓ Amazing! One problem...I absolutely love this game. I’ve played it everyday, and there is never any repeats of levels. The events are also fun and the daily puzzles are great! However, there is one slight problem I have found. Sometimes when you haven’t been doing a puzzle for about a few hours, it will often reset the whole thing, even if you press continue and not reset. It can be frustrating sometimes, but you can just do the puzzle again. This issue sometimes make some levels feel impossible. That is really the only problem I see. ✓ Options for ColourblindThis is a five star game and I love it. I must say I really have difficulty with some of the colour combinations. Other games I have played have settings to assist colourblind people. Some have symbols, or letters, on the blocks and some I have played alter the colours, some for colour blind specific and some just high contrast ,for players like me. ✓ Great gameI started off playing the original Nonogram game which was great, but this one takes it to the next level. I love this game, it’s a bit addictive at times, but it’s a good game to pass the time or if I feel a bit anxious. The challenges are great , however, it’s a shame that you can’t see the animations moving anymore (in the awards>events tab). My only wish is for a dark mode, the bright white background is hard on my eyes even when I have my phone dimmed to the lowest setting… that’s an issue for me for everything, not just this app. Perhaps allowing for a dark grey option for the outside of the board, whilst keeping the cells white? ✓ Dark modeI’ve had this game for about two years now and i still play it everyday! it’s a great game to just decompress with as it’s not so hard that it stresses you out. however, i find myself playing this game mostly at night… which is also when i turn on dark/ night mode. i would love to see that be implemented in a future update..Version: 2.8.0.
✓ Very enjoyable experienceI'm a long-time fan of Nonograms and I found this to be a very nice set of puzzles. The controls are intuitive and the clues keep track of what you’ve done. I have a couple of suggestions. Firstly, it can sometimes be hard to see the clue numbers when the grid gets to 15x15. It would be nice if you could tap on the clues for a row/column to have that particular set increase in size or be shown at the side. It would also be nice to have some way of jumping to more difficult puzzles right away, as experienced players will find many of the puzzles too easy. ✓ Too simple, needs Expert modeThe B&W version of this app has an option to let you choose a difficulty for each level played, which includes an Expert mode (20x20 grid). This color version does not have that option. I've only been playing this version for a few days and am at level 57, but it keeps giving me more easy and medium grids than hard grids. There is not as much challenge in this version compared to the B&W version. There are also some other minor UI issues that make this version feel a little less polished than the B&W version..Version: 2.16.0

✓ Improvement suggestionsI LOVE this game. A couple improvements I’d like to see: the ability to zoom in/out. Sometimes the image is so large that the squares are so tiny and hard to get the exact one colored without accidentally selecting another and causing an error (important when in the mistake mode). Other Nonogram games allow zooming. And make the colors contrast more. Sometimes when a bright color is dimmed because you’ve colored all in the row, it looks exactly like another color (example red shaded out looks like pink). ✓ So close to being perfectThis is by far the best color picross/Nonogram game that I have found in the App Store (and I have tried a LOT) I especially appreciate the option for a one time payment to remove all ads (I wish I could give the devs more money because I have definitely got more value out of this game than I paid) My only criticism is that the game desperately needs a colorblind mode. Perhaps add options for different types of color blindness e.g. deuteranomaly mode that differentiates red from green and blue from purple; or a universal colorblind mode that adds symbols to differentiate colors. Right now I can play most puzzles without problems but red/green ones can only be solved by using the color invert option that is built into iOS. ✓ Great gameI absolutely love this game and play it daily. There's plenty to keep you coming back too, with regular events and challenges along with different variations on how to play. My only complaint is the difference between the difficulty levels on the event and the adventure games. If I play a hard level on an adventure, I know it's seriously going to challenge me. But if I play a hard level on an event, it's usually a symmetrical puzzle with large blocks of the same colour that I can complete in about 20 seconds. Unfortunately, there are more events than adventures so I often find myself craving something a bit more challenging..Version: 2.23.0

Like a lot of the comments, I too have trouble discerning the darker colors that are so similar that you can’t tell them apart on the sides. ✓ Love it, but…I love this app. I really do. The latest update really made it bad at lagging though. Every time there is a ad at the bottom of the screen and it’s changing to the next ad it freezes the board, making me have to exit out completely and restarting the app. Sometimes it even makes me have to play the same board again. And the colors…when “red” is complete the color turns into a “pink”. If there is both red and pink in the board then it gets confusing to whether the red is complete or that I need pink. Maybe change the colors in the same puzzle to contrast others. It happens with the “black” and “gray” colors too. There has to be something that can be done to end the confusion..Version: 2.1.0

✓ Great Puzzle GameFor a long time I didn’t enjoy games like these, however after playing this game and understanding it I absolutely love it! I played from 10am on 7/7 until 3:30am on 7/8 and completed the month of June puzzle! Only have a couple complaints. 1.The game really lags on daily challenges and the events after playing a few boards. 2. I don’t mind the ads however the only I think the only time an ad should pop up is if you choose to get an extra life and no ads if you choose to restart the board. 3. ✓ Amazing, but I have one concern, but it could just be my phone(?)I have only played this game for a few days, but I have already found it pretty addicting. Reading the other views I reciprocate the need for a dark mode version, but that isn’t my main concern. After a couple times after playing the game and switching to other apps, or the home screen, I find that there’s a weird outline or shadow in background. I uninstalled and downloaded the app again to see if it would leave, but it is still there. I have rebooted the app, shut off my device, and I don’t know if it will leave. ✓ Good game if you already like nonogramsThis game is not super beginner friendly but that’s ok because there are other Nonogram games to start with. My main problem with the game & the reason I only gave it 4 stars is that if you finish a color in the row it only automatically fades about 50% of the time. The rest of the time you have to manually put down X’s or finish the row to make it fade. This is irritating because I am used to watching for the number/color to fade before I stop. This has lost me multiple lives and if I want to continue I have to either restart (which makes you watch an ad), or watch an ad for 1 more life..Version: 2.1.0

My request is that an “undo” button, like the B&W version has, be added to the color version. This would help as in sometimes I don’t touch a new color exactly right and I start tapping and have to undo it manually. ✓ Board game is a tad smallMaybe this was designed this was to be sneaky and make us screw up more and watch more ads (yay more ad revenue for you right?) but the board game on the hard levels is small. And my phone screen isn’t small. I use a stylus so I can click the correct square but MANY times I accidentally hit the square next to the one I intend on and lose a life. That’s super frustrating to me because I KNOW which square I was going for but I clicked the wrong one. After doing it so many times, I get frustrated and give up on the game. And did you know you put a cap on how many ads you can watch on a certain game board? It’s happened a lot because of this “I clicked the one next to the one I intended” thing that happens frequently. Maybe you should allow us to zoom in on a specific part of the board. But then we’d make less mistakes and would be watching less ads. Bad idea for you, right? You’ll get 4 stars from me until I quick clicking the wrong squares and can zoom in to be more accurate. But we all know you won’t do that because more accuracy for us means less ads for you!!!! ✓ Non intuitiveI love the game, but the buttons are not intuitive. I don’t know how many times I accidentally select a button only to find that it deselects. You should ONLY have the coloured buttons and one X button. The button to the right of the x is confusing. Please fix this a.s.a.p. I read another reviewer had the same problem. ✓ Colors hard to read - needs font adjustmentsI love the gane but there are some issues with the formatting which means that some games are hard to complete. The font of the numbers needs to change on the backgrounds in order to be seen. ✓ LOVE THIS GAME!!!First, I appreciate that I didn’t get rerouted to the Apple store just to leave this review. Second, I LOVE THIS GAME!! It keeps me on my toes and my brain juices flowing! I also love that there is always an answer so it challenges you to find it - there simply is NO guess work in it, so you have to push yourself to make the right deductions based on the numbers and colors. I bought it after downloading the free version and playing one game. It was kismet to find this game. The only con I would list, even though it does not matter much to me, is that the final pictures aren’t so obvious as to what they are. ✓ Almost perfectThis game really is very thought provoking and excellent for my puzzling brain. However there are 2 issues that make me rage quit every time. The first is something I’ve seen in a lot of reviews. Small white text in light colored boxes. It’s so hard to tell on the bigger puzzles how many blocks you need to fill in. The second is that my fat fingers are always pressing the wrong box. This costs a heart and 3 hearts your out. They do have a second mode where there are no hearts but i like the challenge. Both of these can be fixed with one simple addition, add the ability to zoom in and out. This way you can see the numbers on the side and makes the squares bigger so you can tap the one you intend. I love playing your game but I’m at my wits end here. I truly believe this game can be my go to mobile app while I’m waiting on the train or downtime at work but it needs just a little tweak to make the interface less touchy.Version: 1.7.0
✓ Great, but needs contrastI personally feel that this is one of the best apps of its type. And it was a hard decision for me to stop using it. There is no choice for a 'dark mode' or other visual contrast. It is nearly impossible for me to see the pale grays and yellows at night, when my screen is dimmed (my choice to dim the screen). A pale gray or pale yellow with a white number... Can't read the clue numbers, and sometimes put an X thinking it's "grayed out," thus getting an error (life lost) because I couldn't see that it was a gray area, not grayed out/completed. ✓ Great Addictive Game!Love this game, as it really gets your brain working establishing where to colour a square and what colour. However, I play this game on my phone and it’s difficult to see the lighter colours on the screen, and what number is on the light colour. This needs to be fixed. Also it may be helpful to be able to magnify the screen. When the game is 15x15, it’s too easy for you to accidentally colour the wrong square, resulting in a lost life! ✓ Not Friendly to Fat FingersGenerally, this is a good game, but cannot express how frustrating it is when UI gets in the way. I have a small phone (I’m a small lady, so only small phones fit comfortably in my pocket!), and that means that the 15x15 grids in this game are TINY. I’m tapping a 1.5x1.5 mm space with fingers blocking my sight, so it’s in a deity’s hands whether my fingers are even where i want them to go. ✓ Suggestion: Dark ModeI love this app! It’s probably the best color nonogram game I’ve ever played. Only thing I would suggest is adding a dark mode option. My favorite time to play this is at night, but the bright white background makes it straining on the eyes and the lighter colors blend in with the background or with each other when I have the brightness down. Other color games with a dark mode help me differentiate the color a lot better than the white background. Just a suggestion, I have no idea how hard it would be to implement, and not having it doesn’t take much away from the app, but it would definitely make the app so much better to have a dark mode option..Version: 1.9.0

✓ Great game but you better love adsThis is a brilliantly addictive game that's very relaxing and enjoyable. But WOW. You better love watching advertisements, because that is exactly what you will be spending 95% of the time doing. The reason is because you're given three lives. Once you use them up then every time you make a wrong move you have to watch a 30-second ad and then you only get one more life--not three. Then with another wrong move you're watching another 30-second video. It goes on and on like this until an hour and a half goes by and you realize you've spend over an hour just watching ads! ✓ Getting too greedy for salesI love this app but lately the ads are impossible to get rid of even after you watch them. They get caught in a loop and I can’t get back to the game. I have to close the app completely and then reopen it. Sometimes even that doesn’t work and I have to wait an hour or so until the ad unlocks and goes away. ✓ Good game but I have a suggestionFirst of all the game is really good. I have the black and white version and this and both are really fun. HOWEVER, in this game especially I like to block out areas where I know the color will have to be (like if theres only 4 segments of yellow on the top and sides I like to make a square around it with a different color so that I can concentrate better). The problem with this is I cant do it after I get 2-3 colors done because then the colors will bleed through and I wont know what is a square and what is actually meant to be there. So my suggestion! Could yall please add a separate color in every puzzle that isnt actually in the puzzle but we can use it to block out areas? I play on classic so I dont have the 3 lives to worry about but Im sure yall can figure out a way to not make it interfere..Version: 2.3.0
✓ One improvement would make this game much betterETA: in the most recent update, they made the numbers larger and now some of the lightest colors have black font instead of white. THANKYOU! I also like that when you’ve placed all of one color, that color is no longer available to select. Well done. This is one of my favorite games, and I play it daily. The biggest issue I have is that numbers on the very light colors—yellow, grey, pink—is white. This makes sense for the darker colors, but it’s VERY difficult to read the white numbers in the lighter colors. ✓ Very challengingOnly problem I have found is some of the colours are very similar and hard to tell apart eg. dark blue and black or some red and oranges. One other suggestion, would it be possible that when the X is selected that no colour is highlighted. Some times when I want to switch back from the X I see that the correct colour is highlighted but I forget to actually select the square. You did introduce award system where you can gain awards but that’s all? You don’t actually gain anything like lives or anything?
