✓ Salty because i didnt get hu tao but at least i have guaranteed for kokonutThe game is excellent, the graphics are wonderful, the story is capivating (will never beat Honkai Impact but I'm not complaining)— but it falls flat in one VERY specific area; colourism. The majority of all playable characters are all pale, lightskinned, etc. The most recent area to be released— Sumeru, is a region where Hoyo has drawn LOTS of inspiration from cultures where their people majority at least tanned or darker. Sure, theres some brown people in the game, but thats as they get. Nahida's design would have been so much better if she was brown or darkskinned, especially when you take colour theory into account. Out of nearly 50 playable characters, theres only around 4 or 5 POC? thats not nearly enough. Especially when in Hoyo's official art they already whitewash said POC. Building on what's already been said, Hoyo's darkest characters are only enemies— read between the lines. Hoping they do better with Natlan..Human AvocadoVersion: 4.2.0

✓ Happy 1st anniversary genshin impact!!I discovered this game during venti’s rerun (at around march) and i fell in love with it. the intricate character designs, the story plot and the scenery available is just simple amazing and i wish i had found out about genshin way sooner- now, i’m pretty much still in love with it even though i came across some difficulties along the way. a couple of days ago, we celebrated genshin impact’s first anniversary! there was a fan anniversary stream made up of a lot of different works by a lot of extremely talented people and it warmed my heart to see how many people are grateful and enjoy the game. however, there were also a lot of negative and toxic people - when mihoyo announced the anniversary rewards, most players were outraged due to the fact that it was ‘useless’. they said some pretty rude things and even started to rate genshin (and other games made by mihoyo) with 1 star. as a simple person with simple expectations, this appalled me so much to the point i didn’t dare open up my twitter because of how many racist, rude and downright disgraceful tweets i was seeing. sure, i kind of agree that the rewards aren’t what most of us expected but think of everything else mihoyo has given us : genshin impact itself. without genshin impact, there will be no anniversary rewards, events, event banners, story quests, daily commissions and everything that genshin has. the real rewards are the friends we made along the way. thank you, mihoyo!.•strawberry•mochi•Version: 2.1.0

✗ Great game until…This has been my favourite game for a long time, while there has been content to actually do. But there is no endgame to Genshin, nothing for players who have played for a long time to do. You log in, you do your dailies, use your resin to get terrible artifacts you’ll never use, and then you log off - the trickle of resin controls everything. This will never change, because Mihoyo doesn’t care. Recently the characters have even declined, with Yoimiya having significant kit issues and artifact problems, Raiden having synergy issues, and Kokomi being outright poor in every regard. Mihoyo won’t change any of them, so there’s hardly any point bringing that up either. Then there’s the anniversary rewards, which are just a painful slap in the face compared to what other gacha games offer, with slim rewards that you only have a chance to win if you promote their game with your artwork. Additionally there is a measly 10 pull for everyone, after all the money the player base have poured in. Once again, there’s little reason to complain except out of sheer principle, because Mihoyo don’t care and won’t make any changes. It’s sad to see the game go this way..Waybeyondblue_Version: 2.1.0

✗ Release weak charactersTheir latest 5 Star character(rarest level) is weaker than it should be. Zhongli can't play any role better than other current characters. You pretty much have to pay real money to get him and Mihoyo is trying to pull a fast one on its dedicated fanbase. I am happy to pay for battlepass every month if the content and characters stay great but they are beginning to show how increasingly lazy they are. I will take a break from buying battlepass and spending $99 on gems every new wish banner I want. They favor horny straight neckbeards too, all the girls are showing some amount of skin even if they are an actual child. I don't want to see Mona's camel toe, we need hot men to play and skins for everyone so I can cover up some of these girls..BossBotchVersion: 1.1.1
