Not for CanadaDoesn’t work for locations I’m Canada.Version: 2.2.9

Nice layout, terrible customer assistanceI was suspended for not having an complete profile. I had only had the app for about a day or two? The app told me to complete my profile (which I did) and my suspension hasn’t been lifted for days. I reached out for assistance and they answered hours later (honestly expected) I emailed back days ago and haven’t gotten an response, I emailed again and no response. I thought if I had switched to employer then back maybe that would help but no. Instead I had gotten a text from the app then an unsuspected call?? Dude I just need a job cmon..Version: 2.1.1

They Simply Won’t Take Any ResponsibilityI was an early user who joined through one of their many social media ads. I got over $10k stolen from me by a recruiter who was wrongfully verified by their system. The first time I reached out for help, I was told repeatedly that Hirect has a very strong and strict verification of their recruiters. As soon as I explained how their "verified" user scammed me, they immediately told me that someone else would contact me. I got a phone call from a Hirect employee who originally tried to tell me that they were just letting everyone join (without proper due diligence) to bring users during the first months. Which just seems like a huge red flag if you’re considering finding a job in their platform at the expense of the user’s trust. We agreed that I would file the IC3 complaint and that Hirect would help me find this individual(s). I have also partially recorded all of the phone calls just in case. After some weeks passed I got no news from this Hirect employee who promised to help me, even after I sent a very long and detailed explanation of how the scam took place. I stopped getting responses after a while to find out they stopped working for Hirect and that I would have to contact them again via email….showing that my case wasn’t really being taken care of..Version: 2.2.4

Can’t get my account deletedFirst, let me say that I had no luck using this app. The concept is great, but could be executed better. There were hardly any jobs to choose from. The ones that were available seemed suspicious/fake. Do not bother using their referral program, you won’t get anything for your referrals. Last, if you want to remove your account with Hirect you have to email them first. I have emailed Hirect support multiple times, with no response. I currently still have an active account, with my personal information out here! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP!.Version: 2.3.2

App not functional. The app will not let you enter answers. Specifically when the app asks if you have work experience and I selected yes, but it would not let me enter anything or even open the prompt to type it in, but you can get past it if you select no.... Then you encounter the same issue when the app asks for your highest education, it will let you type in the school name but then surprise you can’t put in anything els. I would not recommend this app to anyone because these issues make the app completely unusable..Version: 2.2.9

Terrible Application. Fake Job Listing and Lack of Employers and RecruitersThis is a TERRIBLE app. You’re much better off going the traditional Indeed, Ziprecruiter, Monsterjobs, etc route. Hirect has no connections in the US. Their platform pays employees through a commission system so employees are doing whatever they can to get sign ups that result in no listings. They’ve got a total of 5 jobs listings for management, operations, and development positions IN THE BAY AREA! Those are horrific numbers. And these “startups” are basically individuals looking to hire for 1k per month as a trainee for their “companies”. I see some installation companies, some “work at home mum” listings, among other NON TECH and NON STARTUP companies. Total waste of my time..Version: 2.1.4

Nice platform; horrible customer serviceThe platform is nice. I’ve found several great candidates. My issue is with the customer service team for the employers and recruiters posting and using this app. I’ve been trying to get a hold of the customer service team for months and out of 10+ emails that I’ve sent only one has been responded to that was an automated message. The referral rewards that they’ve promised for bringing other tech recruiters onto the site doesn’t seem to work. I’ve “earned” $1200 in referral fees but the system won’t send me the money. I keep getting error screens and auto replies for the emails I send inquiring for help. I’d love to connect with someone on this soon..Version: 2.2.8

Needs Better CompaniesGreat concept, but none of the hiring managers or job posters have had the decency to write back to me after I sent them a message. Some of the job postings are also outdated and should be removed. If they keep jobs current and find decent job posters I’ll consider downloading the app again, but for now I’m deleting it..Version: 2.3.4

OkJust downloaded the app, but already see a major issue. Ageism in tech ( as well as in general) exists for anyone over 40. This is a well known issue. Your told to try and make your age harder to figure out to get through the initial application stage. This app makes you enter dates for your education, which is a major detriment to the job search process. Dates on your education should be optional..Version: 2.2.2

Scammed my business info off meDon’t sign up as a recruiter. Their recruitment model is a pyramid scheme. They sucked nearly all of my personal and company data, which I only consented to because of the referral commission I was promised on the phone with an agent. That agent has failed to respond to my numerous requests for support, and I can’t seem to find a link to request that my account be deleted. Recruiters, they’re selling your data. Use Fiverr or UpWork instead..Version: 2.2.6

Do Not BotherI think the purpose of this app is appealing and very convenient, but it is not functional. There aren’t many jobs listed, and it doesn’t seem like employers are responsive. I can see it improving over time, but I would not recommend it right now. Also, if you want to delete your account, you have to send an e-mail and the Support Team is not responsive. It’s been over two weeks now and I have sent more than one e-mail with no response..Version: 2.3.2

Worst appI have sent several emails ASKING to have my account deleted. They have seen two emails total saying this: “hello. Yes”. What kind of email is that? That’s not a sentence or an email. You should be able to delete what you need too yourself, not have to ask. I have never seen an app tell you that you must contact them in order to delete it. Do better and be respectful of your customers. I have sent nice emails requesting nicely to delete my account. There’s no reason to have sent you 5 emails requesting this simple task..Version: 2.2.4

Seems to be a scamOut of 10 recruiters about 3 of them seem like they have an actual job to list. The rest seem like they are trying to get some information from you to properly scam or spam you. I have noticed a red flag when a job recruiters ask to take the conversation of line. I have been trying to find out if anyone has really got a job through this app but I have yet to find anyone with success. Please reconsider using this..Version: 1.9.9

Lots of hiccupsSo, based on TikTok reviews I was excited to try this app! Unfortunately it’s not living up to all the hype! I put in jobs in Texas and I get jobs from New York, Seattle and other random places. I then try and find regular jobs and I get strange outdated job descriptions and the information on some of these recruiters looks kinda sketchy. I’d like to see more of the virtual assistant and actual office jobs. Not everyone is a website developer!.Version: 2.2.5

Please read before you think about signing upPros: Alternative to LinkedIn Job recruiting Cons: 1.Lots of scammers 2.Annoying PR Team 3.You have to email to cancel then fill out google form the finalize the cancellation (really?) Im all for start ups who are trying to reinvent the wheel but getting a call at 7am on a Saturday from their “support manager” asking if I need help recruiting for my organization was just the nail on the coffin. Looks like they can’t even differentiate what kind of candidate I am even though I have filled their profile. Toppled with non stop calling on my personal line and hard to cancel/ remove my data from their system is why I suggest highly that you look elsewhere. Trust me you’re either getting scammed or harassed on this app..Version: 2.1.0
