✓ Social community without DramaSo far loving this app, it’s new so still got little issue but I can see this app growing bigger than other similar apps on market. Duel lives for the whole world something USA had not had on other app UK had the option for over 6 months. But on Clapper we can duel without the need of 1000 followers. Best feature for me is the radio function take part in discussion and be listened to with out hate. ✓ Great but needs work...I will get right too it: Pros: it has a basic, easy to use operation system. It records 2 min of video. The videos are clean cut and easy to view. The profile page is basically similar to Tiktok. Cons: No lip sync feature (which is what truly draws most people to Tiktok). It has no zoom in or out or even tools to animate the video like Tiktok does (another key factor to people wanting Tiktok over other apps). You can’t edit your video to add interesting features or transitions. (Again, Tiktok feature). The biggest con is the music selection there is no search ability—you have to scroll through everything! There is NO RESTRICTIONS for people who want CLEAN content (no half naked kid twerking or whatever EW!). That is a MAJOR draw for Tiktok because it allows people to stay away from UNWANTED content. It also keeps FREEZING and the downloads take forever! I have fast internet/cell service but the downloads take forever! Otherwise this app is a great app... for BASIC recording. When it includes all the above it will worth the download! Just fix the app up and refine it more and you’ve got a great app!!.Version: 2.6

✓ Much better than tiktok but also has room to improveI came to clapper from tiktok and the difference is astounding! I am actually able to post all of my content freely without being blocked or banned for no reason! The algorithm is made a lot more clear and moderation is held to a exact guidebook and not just personal opinion. The community is generally nice and if they don’t enjoy the content they typically just scroll. That being said, there’s always room for improvements! I do think that clapper should have more editing features and introduce some “effects” or filters. I know that they don’t want to just copy tiktok completely but being an app focusing on lifestyle, blogging, and educators a few effects and editing features would defiantly improve creation. I tend to make videos on tiktok still and then reupload to clapper which is troublesome. I also would like to see a bit more improvement to the audio selections as well as organization! Audio is always incredibly important when it comes to content and scrolling through each sound that seems to be sorted randomly is a bit of a chore. All in all it is a very solid app with a lot of potential. I think they would do well to start attracting the tiktok crowed who have been burned by tiktoks horrible team..Version: 5.10

The app isn’t so I intuitive for new users; I wish when one opens the comments that the video would pause otherwise it scrolls to the next video; please add fun music and filter functionality. I enjoy having an app that focuses on freedom of speech, politics, point of views- things that a lot of viewers don’t want to see on other apps. This app gives the ability to create content on these topics that others can engage with. On my other platforms my content isn’t based around content like this. Those apps aren’t created for those topics that this app is specifically for. I enjoy to step away from my other content and have the ability to share my thoughts/beliefs on here. I enjoy having a like and dislike option. The reason I give 4 stars is for 2 things I dislike. 1- the quality of a video I create and shared onto here is horrible! ✓ Great PotentialI was brought over from TikTok. I am a part of the CoinFamily and we focus on coins and helping each other out. I am beyond amazed at what Clapper has to offer. Here are some suggestions I have though. • Camera Zoom function during Lives • A Web browser site that can be accessed online not just the app • Higher Quality Video; I have a iPhone 13 Pro and when I go live it looks like I’m using a iPhone 3. • More editing to videos made, there’s not really filters and effects you can add to the “Claps?” Videos you make. Other than those things I think this is a really solid platform. I love that you can do shop lives, list items to your shop and you’re not charged an arm and a leg like other places *cough cough*… If I could get some type of editor or reply from one of the devs maybe saying that they’ll work on getting these things or at least look into it. I think I would wholeheartedly make the switch to Clapper 100%. Right now I’m about 25% here and 75% there and would honestly love to make it 100% here. I see there is censorship here too as I have experienced violation of videos inaccurately claiming “conspiracy theory” when I provide a video of a piece of technology that is “patented” and “documented” as in existence. This is aggravating when I know it’s. it is not a violation but maybe the person they hired to view the videos has little knowledge or possibly unable to decipher between facts and theory. We have to dispute the violations that clearly were not in violation. The persons viewing videos should be non-bias person with the abilities to understand when a video of displaying new technology electronic device with a verifiable patent number, it cannot possibly be “conspiracy theory” yet an electronic device with a patent number. But this is about Clapper. The silly random videos I was suspended for on Tiktok are fine here because there was nothing wrong with them in the first place and you don’t know how much I respect platforms that don’t harass you ever 3 or 4 posts for something. Try clapper you won’t be disappointed. I had 500 followers within 2 days. I did bring over a lot of content the first day but I say that for anyone that is worried about traffic and users on clapper there are a lot and they seem to respect free speech so far. ✓ Very nice alternative to tiktokTiktok has a CGV reporting system that has been weaponized. Clapper has a different system. It’s harder to get shutdown just bc someone disagrees with you. The app is only a year old and needs work. It’s not as advanced as tiktok. However, if they can grow and keep their reporting system in such a way that it won’t be weaponized and frivolous, this place will surpass them. It’s 17 and up. That’s a plus for me as well. The radio feature is great. The groups feature is nice too. Both of those allow you to get to know others with similar interests. ✓ An honest reviewI downloaded a few days ago, It’s hard to get used to if you’re joining with the expectations that it will equate to tiktok. actually I personally like it much better after fixing my algorithm. there are no filters at all when recording which i have no problem with, it seems to discourage insecurities from being created and fed into in the app. you can upload videos still so this doesn’t limit you from editing your posts. the thumbs down button will take content off your foryou page, this is awesome however if you accidentally click it on a video you enjoy, say asta la vista cause you'll never see it again. personally I LOVE the fact that both spanish and english posts are in my feed. i’d like to broaden my horizons, not shrink them. but if you’re choosing one language over another, say not interested on the language you don’t want. the community is much better here but I do wish the algorithm didn’t look like an onlyfans page before the algorithm gets your likes right. it was very unpleasant to have to say not interested about 50 times before it understood i’m not interested at all in that content. group chats help to find your niche community faster. this app has some great features and hopefully can keep up with the rise in traffic on the app. people in the community are also not extremely fragile like in tiktok. you can disagree and still get along. as it should be, cause no one agrees on everything..Version: 9.6.6

Here is what I can tell you. Yes TikTok has lots more features when it comes to filters and editing. Sure that can be fun but it’s also very fake. You follow people not knowing who they truly are. On social media yoj can be whoever you want. You can crest this whole fake life and image but even more so on TikTok. On clapper you can see people for who they are and creators tend to be much more authentic on there. Sure it’s a bit sluggish and they have some work to do. Especially with the mass influx of people coming over from TikTok but guess what. You can be your self.
