✓ AddictionThis app is my addiction. I thought “Ex in the Villa” was excellent, (except for the Alfie obsession) but then came “Stick or Twist.” It is definitely as good, if not better, than “Ex in the Villa.” I love it that the character I chose fought to stay with me the entire time in the village. There was a lot of drama and surprises, but the character I chose stayed loyal to me and never said, “I need to explore my other options,” when new characters entered the villa. I am looking forward to the next story. The ONLY problems with new stories, is having to wait on the next episodes. I may wait this time until the story is complete and then binge read it like I do on Netflix series. Lol! Thanks to the Fusebox team for all the effort and great stories!!!!.Version: 1.0.30
✓ Someone give the writers a raiseI don’t know why this game has so many bad review lately, the newest season doesn’t feel as much like love island as the rest of the seasons because the first half seems like you have no real say in what happens and there is a lot more random drama but I like that the writers are doing something different as the story and character development is amazing and ultimately I think it’s possible for the mc to end just with who you want. ✓ Amazing!I enjoy that this game doesn’t exactly take it far with the sexual stuff as that can get nasty for some and it just allows slightly younger (Like 15-16 y/o ppl) to download the game and play how they want. The only things I find a bit disappointing is that this game is a bit money oriented and that it takes SO long to get another VIP ticket. You get only 1 diamond unless you watch an ad, which makes it so agonizingly long to get anything you want to impress your love interest. When you use up all your VIP tickets, it takes 2 hours to get more tickets, which it’s understandable since this game is free on the App Store, but 2 hours is a bit too long. It’s still a great game with a bunch of drama you can solve or stir up! I’d suggest getting it.Version: 1.0.17
✓ Ex In The VillaForgot to add this in my other review but my MC is in the finals and I don’t even like the couple I’m in. Also why is MC always so close to being dumped but never does? It makes it seem like MC isn’t special at all. Casa Amour was a joke. This season lacks so much effort it’s insane and once again the way things are so expensive makes it look like the creatures are desperate or something. ✓ AmazingThis is an amazing game, the first story of love island is so good. If I had to and on to anything that is bad is probably the diamonds, because you do have to do tasks to get diamonds but also maybe get two once finishing the story. Also you should definitely do a reunion because the second one isn’t as good as the first one and I miss it . All in all it is an amazing, incredible game..Version: 1.0.12

✓ Wow.Wont lie, looking at other reviews some people aren’t liking this as much as I did. BUT I LOVED IT. For me it wasn’t about how love island it was, it was the great stories the detailed characters, the fact you can have a proper stab at the game without loads of diamonds. Also this game is offline, which for people like me who don’t have 4G all the time, is great!! ✓ Things are looking better.Just started playing season 6 and it is already better than season 5. Happy to see y’all listened to our criticism. The MC design is way better than the design y’all had before. Love the addition of the “chubbier” body type. The other characters in this season have personality and they all attractive. They are all unique in their own way. The storyline isn’t forced like it was with ex in the villa. The MC has more options to choose from now, and she isn’t limited in who she can pursue. This is the first time after season 4 and 5 that I have actually felt some kind of an attraction to the male characters. Beautifully done, especially Ryan. I love the cliffhangers, and it makes me wish this season was completed already. I’m predicting Zeph’s arrival in the future, but I hope you guys have a different story line in plan. Predictable stories aren’t that interesting. Overall, I love it and can’t wait to see where the story goes. But you guys have to make the diamond choices a bit cheaper or give us the option to play ads. Don’t understand why you guys won’t go down that route? You guys will end up making more money that way and the players can get more diamonds too. Like others are staying, 10 adds for 10 diamonds? Things like that. Give us that option..Version: 1.0.22
✓ Season 6? And Should you spend money?Buckle up this one is gonna be a bit long: So I’ve played it very season thus far from both apps. I’ve got to give credit where it is due. Season 6 has massive potential to be the season that revived the hardcore fan base. The newest season feels like it isn’t just drama being thrown around, you’re not forced into sexual actions with anyone (yes this happened season 5), you’re not being verbally abused and mistreated (yes this happened season 4), and it seems like your choices may have more of the impact than in the past two seasons. I could never recommend anyone play Ex in the Villa (Season 5) or Bombshell (Season 4) for any other reason than to roast the heck out of them. Not even mentioning how lackluster the characters looks. A few of them had gray washed skin and it was unpleasant. If you’ve played the older app, want a decent dating reality tv game, or just want to graft with cute singles; then, I fully recommend season 6. But for the love of god do not spend money. Prices have been jacked up and the amount of free gems you can get is so few. Most of the time it’s not game altering and you can find the “gem scenes” online. Happy gaming! And fuse box we are watching and throwing out suggestions online. I just hope y’all listen before people give up on the last season.Version: 1.0.23

✓ Improving slowly but GEMS and TICKETSThe game is slowly improving. This latest season has nice art and design but season six is my personal favorite. My main issue is the high cost of clothing and options. They should also give us more options for hair. Some of the gameplay options are 29 gems!!!! I understand 10-15 but 17+ is absurd. The clothes are usually 18-22 and are just not cute enough to pay that much. It would be much better if they returned to giving gems every time an episode is completed. They should have more ads available to watch for gems instead of just three for four gems every 5-6 hours. It also takes a long time to wait for tickets to reload and it makes me lose motivation to play. I hope they make it 3-4 tickets per two hours instead of just two. The writing so far for this season is pretty strong and I really enjoy some characters, especially Alex. I hope that they continue to improve considering some of the past writing was… questionable and lazy. In short: -good to see the writing improve, hope it stays that way -more clothing and hair options -lower gem costs for some choices and especially clothes -gems awarded after each episode -more ads available for gems -tickets reload faster or more.Version: 1.0.30
✓ LOVED IT.I have played all the love island games but I have got to say that the bombshell season is by far my favourite one! I absolutely loved the characters.. the graphics.. and just the storyline! I was able to couple up with the guy I wanted towards the end and also had plenty of romantic opportunities if I wished too! I got so attached to everyone especially Thabi, who is an absolutely sweetheart, and I just love how inclusive the game is becoming with the black people wearing bonnets. It’s beautiful to see. I do hate how many gem options there are and how it’s also hard to earn gem rewards unless you buy them or win them by doing quests, which costs gems, so it’s a bit of a cycle. ✓ One fundamental issueI’ve been playing this game since the first season so I’ve had the pleasure of watching it evolve, watching the writing get better, the graphics get better. I’ve long preferred this game over games like Episode or Choices for one, albeit small, reason; there was no pressure to make premium choices. The other characters didn’t guilt you into spending money on time alone with them, or for picking a standard outfit, like they do in Episode. But that seems to have gone away this season and frankly I’ve found myself disappointed. It was the one thing that made this game stand out. It didn’t feel like a pay-to-win game but now… Also just a cheeky heads up, I’m all for lesbian rights and I absolutely applaud the consistent diversity throughout the seasons, but it’s okay to show MLM relationships too!! Have two of the male islanders pair off, provide an option for the MC to be male or gender non-conforming! There’s an entire demographic you’re missing out on here lol.Version: 1.0.14

✓ REALLY BADI loved season one and two of love island. But Season 5 IS REALLY BAD! as I play as the main character I am always truthful and faithful yet everyone I get with cheats on me people lie and bully you and you can’t defend yourself everything is expensive and cause a ridiculous amount of gyms in this season and the storyline is just pathetic everyone tries to get with you but no one chooses you who you truly want like Finn. I can’t believe Nicholas I thought he was a good guy and then he wanted me to go along and be sneaky to stay in the game and they betrayed you and lied and manipulated making it seem like it was your idea the storyline is just horrible all around you guys have failed going forward you guys need to do way better. ✓ 5/5 starsThis was my first time ever playing this game, loved it bombshell was amazing I was addicted to it ex is the villa was kinda boring but only because the character designed wasn’t like bombshell so I stopped playing ex in the villa and finished bombshell I was really sad when it came to an end I feel like it would have been a lot better if we could see like you and your partner in the future like at the when of the game your talking about wanting kids and or pets with your partner it would have been cool to see in the future with you in you partner playing with the kids in the yard, I would have loved to see Tom with our dog and cats, overall this game was amazing..Version: 1.0.17
✓ Stick or Twist is DisappointingI’ll start by saying I LOVE LOVE LOVED the Double Trouble season. The characters were fun and had good personalities. The outfit choices, even the “free” choices were cute, characters overall had dimension and were attractive. I’ve played through that season 6-7x now I love it so much. So I was excited to do the new season and I am DISAPPOINTED. The MC is really not attractive without paying for gems for an upgraded look and all the outfit choices are awful. You get to do next to nothing without extra gems and the characters are mostly annoying. I feel the quality has dropped significantly and I likely won’t finish the season, I’ve tried but I’m just not enjoying it. The storyline itself has so much potential but it’s too much like the first few seasons (Bombshell and Ex in the Villa) in quality, which is not saying good things..Version: 1.0.30

However, I literally had to uninstall the app. Your choices have no impact on the trajectory of your game (notwithstanding the fact they have increased the price / amount of gems required for the choices). ✓ ❤️Honestly I do love this game. There is a lot of things I would change at the same time. Firstly the amount it costs for some hair/outfits….it’s ridiculous, and can really ruin the game play. The same for choices. They’re too expensive and when you can’t pay for it, you feel like your missing key points to the game. Also why publish weekly! I’d rather it take more time for the season to come out and it all be published at once. I have a low attention span so having to wait a week makes me forget things and I become bored. With the new season, we got 2 hairstyles for free….they are ugly. I love the bikini choices but again why do they cost so much? Fair enough if they were 5 gems, but 17 gems!!! That’s basically £2 per outfit. I tend to play too hot too handle more, purely because of the cost. I love the drama in these games and I wouldn’t mind them adding more. Double trouble was an amazing season, and I loved every moment of the game. One thing though….why could I not have ozzy? That’s all I wanted all season😢I would love if we could have those choices to break up anyone’s relationship, and more of them getting involved with ours too because who doesn’t love the drama. ✓ Getting BetterAlthough I feel biased with having played all of the seasons while they came out, with S2 stealing my heart, I feel as if this new app is slowly getting better! S1-S3 were amazing, and with the introduction of the new app I thought it would be similar, but that proved to be incorrect. S4-S5 were interesting to say the least, in my opinion there wasn’t a lot of interesting stuff happening with the characters and well they weren’t as well developed and attractive like the other characters from the previous seasons, but with the newest S6, I’m feeling as if It’s improving, I’m really enjoying the new season with how long the episodes are, how the diamond options are cheaper, I feel like the characters have a better development along with our mc, having more options for that! ✓ Genuine review for you :)So far I’ve really been enjoying the game. From the characters, to the options, the twists, and omg the outfits are adorable! I’ve gotten pretty into it. One big thing for me is diamonds are actually pretty adorable in this. I spent $20 for 300 diamonds and it allowed me to fully set up my character how I want, and I’ve gone quite far choice wise. The diamond choices aren’t very often, and they aren’t that expensive. Overall pretty easy to manage them. 10/10 to me. Granted, it’s always best to try it out and get your own opinion. If you’ve ever played choices, or episodes then I’d highly recommend. ✓ Love this gameThis is literally one of my favorite mobile games i’m so obsessed. it’s much better than other similar apps like episode because if you don’t have enough gems for an option, picking the free option won’t force you to do something mean or detrimental, and the characters don’t get mad about it. the reason why i gave it four stars though is because i do have a small issue with how many gems clothes and special choices cost. it’s not ridiculously high like other games but it is still a little unreasonable considering how few ways there are to gain gems. if you want gems you either have to buy them or spend a week watching ads every day to get like 17 gems which is enough for maybe one choice or a cheap item of clothing 🥲. i’d love it if either you could get a lot more gems from ads like 7 or 9 instead of 1 or 2 and keep the prices the same, or lower the prices by like two thirds 😭 and keep the reward for ads at 1 or 2 gems. that’s all though, and otherwise, i love this game. also i forget that the characters are all british and it’s really funny to me because they’ll say the weirdest things and i’ll be so confused until i realize it’s british slang. also i still imagine 98% of their voices as american anyways 🤭. but british slang makes everything so much funnier! ✓ DisappointingHonestly, I’ve been trying to give fusebox the benefit of the doubt with a lot of the writing decisions for these seasons and I have kind of lost that by now. These newer seasons can’t compete where they don’t compare with season 2, the GOAT. The choices don’t really feel like they matter in ex in the villa and it is extremely poorly written. Bombshell is at least tolerable and some of the choices do seem to effect the MCs time in the villa. It’s really sad to give up on a game I used to love so much. ✓ Need more diamondsI like the story line. Just wish there was a way to get more diamonds without having to spend more money. The purchases are so high on some things. Also, uneven numbers at times, like example “29”. If you purchase extra diamonds it goes by 5’s, maybe make purchases amounts by 5 that way you don’t have to purchase diamonds because you’re short 2 or even 1 Diamond. But I do wish there was a way to earn free diamonds. Maybe put some ads in there like watch 10 and maybe get 2 diamonds each? That would make it 20 diamonds extra a day, most of the purchases are that much anyway. Also, maybe in the future if you could add an option if you wanted to play as a man or woman.
