VeriFLY: Fast Digital Identity for Negative User Reviews

They pulled up their socks…But it still doesn’t appear to work. I cannot enter my cruise info. Doesn’t « find » the confirmation code and my name. That’s as far as I’ve got. Abandoning this as it’s only suggested by the cruise line. Thankfully not mandatory..Version: 1.3.4

Very disappointing.Just downloaded the app and attempted to enter my Qantas flights but there are only 6 airlines listed and you can’t manually enter one that isn’t on the list..Version: 1.3.4

Lost everythingUploaded our documents and details, was on the app for a week, now a week before our cruise all information has been lost, erased, I logged in again and no details came up, I have to start from scratch again, annoying!.Version: 1.3.3

AwfulHow is it possible to make something easy SO hard? Confusing, misleading and time-wasting. A poorly designed ap with badly edited instructions..Version: 1.3.4

Sadly zero stars is not an optionI was asked by British Airways to download the app as apparently this is the quickest way to verify the COVID documents and after agreeing to all the terms and conditions including the one where it says they may need to share my personal data with third parties which I strongly disagree with because these companies sell your data to third parties, only to find out the flight is not even on the list of airports available, I’m travelling back to the UK from Rhodes and there is no Rhodes nor Greek airports to chose from the app, basically they steal your data and don’t offer any kind of service. ZERO STARS I WILL BE WRITING YOU SHORTLY TO DELETE ALL THE DATA YOU HAVE ABOUT MYSELF you should not be on the App Store, personal data thieves, this app should be banned!.Version: 1.1.2

Waste of timeApp works fine - mined all my personal info… but then made no difference. Still had to check in at the airport and produce all my docs for review. Maybe if you just go UK-US it’s beneficial. For me travelling via UK/US to other destinations, not so much..Version: 1.1.11

Neil McLeodThe most stress inducing, infuriating app I’ve ever used. After completing all requirements ( which was unnecessarily difficult) the app told me my ‘pass is active’. Pressed on the ‘View Pass’ button only to be told ‘more actions required’. Then got stuck in a never ending loop. Absolutely infuriating..Version: 1.3.4

Not all travellers are American citizensUseless app that AA requires to be able to dl a boarding pass. Won’t accept a Canadian govt issued QR code or pdf vax. A lot of effort to only be forced to check in at airport. Rated O. Argh.Version: 1.3.4

Ugh - this app is terribleI recently travelled to the Caribbean from the US on American Airlines. This app was promoted by AA but it is TERRIBLE to use. You have to start a trip on the app with a nonsense “confident traveler” persona and then you have to go through adding all the information in that you can do online on a.con anyway (like Covid attestations etc), and then when you actually have to upload your Covid tests they go to some manual review person somewhere that reviews them after several hours (though they try to get you to pay for a “quicker” review… vultures). After going through all the hassle of doing this for ME and waiting a few hours to have my Covid test results confirmed… I uploaded my family’s Covid results (which were from the EXACT same place/time as mine) and my family’s results were Declined when mine was approved. Then - when I tried to upload it again, the app was buggy and started telling me that a date in the past was a date in the future….nobody has qa’d this app. I just ended up bailing on it and just took my Covid test results to the airport and it was quick. Don’t bother with this app…. It doesn’t work right, the ppl reviewing documents are inconsistent and it’s buggy. AA should stop promoting this dumpster fire of an app..Version: 1.1.11

Terrible.Doesn’t work to upload travel documents, vaccine passport proof, despite following instructions. Brutal..Version: 1.2.0

TerribleAbsolutely a pain in the *** Had to upload vaccine information 3 times and it took all day to get my vaccine status confirmed..Version: 1.3.4

Useless and time consumingTook me ages to upload/manage manually all the needed documents. Tried to add my husband, but his totally valid vaccination pass wasn’t accepted because it showed his first name instead of middle one, as he’s known by, a name stated in his passport, obviously. At check in of luggage I had to show the app although everything had gone through for me, and I was checked in. I always avoid handling my phone in these situations, as I find it stressful as I have problems with my hands. It was a lot quicker at the desk for my husband just showing his documents. So what on earth is this stupid app for? Will never use it again. Shame on you, BA, for complicating things for the customers. BA should provide the possibility to upload the documents on their own site, in order to encourage online check in..Version: 1.1.9

App doesn’t workI have tried several tienes submitting information. And trying to fill everything requested and never ever had the opportunity to submit anything. Doesn’t work with international flights..Version: 1.3.4

Fails in its primary purposeThis app is supposed to allow you to upload / prove your test and vaccination status before you fly so that you can check-in online and save the hassle of documents at the airport. It does not work. Having gone through the awkward / clunky process of uploading your documents, the BA app then does not link with it to accept the information. You are then unable to check in until you are at the airport and need to go through the process of showing your test / vaccination papers there. They will tell you to check that your name & flight number are exactly the same as on your ticket booking but the app presents you with fixed choices of flight numbers which miss out the zero, so it is impossible to meet their requirement. A poorly designed app..Version: 1.1.11

Issues I have with VeriFLYIf I take the time to write a review it is either a very good review or doesn’t meet minimum standards of what is being advertised. Unfortunately this is not one of my good reviews. I just started using Verifly as suggested by Carnival Cruise line since I am sailing in 4 days as well as next August. For the 1st cruise, all of my information went in simple enough but when I went to complete the one for my 2nd cruise, I keep getting error messages to check the log. Since Verifly doesn’t have a phone number to contact, but only an email address, I find it very frustrating waiting for an answer. Also I am not the only one having issues. My friends who are also going on the cruise in 4 days can’t even get the app to work. They have even sent several emails back and forth trying to get it to work without success. With all this said, if a developer puts an app out, they should have a much better support system for the public to get help. Sadly, my friends and I do not trust this app and will be bringing our documents with us since Verifly is unreliable..Version: 1.3.3

Why do airlines force you to use VeriFLY? It’s an awful app!I recently returned from Dublin and was forced by American Airlines to use VeriFLY to upload my Covid test results. After spending considerable time in setting up VeriFLY, and uploading everything and completing the process, I got a message back that everything have been reviewed and approved. The message invited me to click on a link to complete the process. However in clicking on the link, I was taken to the beginning stage of the process. The app asked me to re-set up my account and have my picture taken, etc.. why doesn’t this app not have the basics like login and password so one can access the account? When I was traveling last year, I uploaded everything the airlines wanted directly to the airlines. It was much simpler. Why do airlines require you to use a third-party app? Since I was unable to complete the process, I had to stand in the long line to check in and get my boarding pass. It’s most aggravating when you invested so much time and effort in order to avoid that. So aggravating!!.Version: 1.3.0

Rip off and scamIt is absolutely obvious that your “inability” to read a pdf or a QR code and subsequent $9 charge is predatory and corrupt. I’ve now surveyed 100 colleagues and friends who all had to pay. Could be interesting class action?.Version: 1.2.1

Not required and scary privacy threatShort version: Do not install this app or agree to the data and privacy policies. They are terrible and just not worth it for small perception of convenience. This app may look at your health data. This app can look through your pictures and content and your contact lists. (Not even Facebook can do all of that.) Company can and will use recordings of you (says so right in their privacy policy). Company will aggregate your data with other information it finds about you online, though public records, or though data it purchases (also spelled out in the privacy policy). Company can then share the data with pretty much anyone they choose to do business with. And what can you do about it when (not if) they screw up and leak your most sensitive and private information? Pretty much nothing. Forced arbitration clause right in the agreement. No access to courts. No class action lawsuits. This company is in business to turn your private life into a data product for resale to others. The small convenience you get is just a little treat for you to get you to bite and give up everything to them. It’s just not worth it. Oh, and by the way, NOT REQUIRED in order to check in to AA flights. Sure, the site and the app make it seem that way, but it’s only required for ONLINE check in. You can (and should) still just check in when you arrive at the airport..Version: 1.4.0

Nice idea but requirements are woefully outdatedGiven the limited range of applicable locations, app needs to be more regularly updated. Travel requirements are woefully out of date.Version: 1.3.4

Doesn’t understand the concept of time zonesYou would think that an application and back office processing serving a global population would have the concept of time zones by default. But surprisingly, this application has no concept. With our Covid tests being handled by a global supplier the time of the test was provided in UTC (the standard approach for providing a globally consistent time). VeriFLY has no concept of this, and you can not specify the time zone of the test. Some of the back office providers doing the manual review understand the concept, and where able to translate the time in the first try (in my case), both others are clueless, rejecting the test results due to a “time mismatch” (for my wife’s test). Frustration of entering all the data three times, as the application in “intelligent” enough to prevent future times being enter (based on the local time of the device in question - which can also be manipulated, so an invalid test in any case). American Airlines should not be relying on a substandard partner like this for critical activities..Version: 1.2.0

No internet connection errorThis has happened multiple times Where I submit my documents, then I get an email and it says it’s approved. When I open the app again it says no internet connection where as I do.Version: 1.4.0

VeriFLY Needs WorkThis is the 4th trip we’ve taken using VeriFLY. We’ve gone to Italy, Malta, a Viking river cruise in Germany and now, Switzerland. The app doesn’t save vaccination information from previous trips…??…and there isn’t a way I’ve found to just add booster information to update the file. American Airlines emails us and asks us to use VeriFLY but when we get to the airport no one asks for it and instead have us provide our vaccination cards and sometimes have us fill out documents for countries we’re headed to. Why did I go to the trouble of filling out the VeriFLY information? Our upcoming trip, to Zurich and home a week later, has no option to fill out returning information, which is all that matters since Switzerland just wants our vaccination cards but the US wants a negative PCR test before we return. I can only guess that Verifly is incenting American to recommend them🤷‍♀️. I think this is a waste of time..Version: 1.1.11

Doesn’t accept connecting flightsWhat is the point of an app with a monopoly on document verification, that does not recognize that many people have connecting flights ahead of an international departure? And that does not provide a warning about how that could affect the timing of COVID tests - which is the *whole point of the app*. We have an international flight that requires a 72-hr negative covid test. Fine. Got them and went to load them - blocked because the tests are supposedly outside the window. Because the app doesn’t allow us to start our trip from our home airport. We have two short legs before the international one. The country’s rules say that the clock starts *at the point of embarkation on the first leg of the trip*. Because of the travel time before our international departure (about 13 hours) VeriFly says our tests were taken outside the 72 hours, which they clearly were not under the rules. I called VeriFly (and that’s a whole other issue - I got their number from the airline not their site) and the person insisted that the app allows selecting connecting flights. That is not true; the app forces choices based on the last/direct. It’s really inexcusable. PS: been selecting nicknames to post this: “Not Hapoy” “Really Annoyed” and other similar ones already taken. Hey, VeriFly - fix your app!!.Version: 1.1.4

Only AA airlinesI don’t know what’s happening with this app. Only one airline to choose from? I’m sure that’s a bug but wow..Version: 1.1.2

Data leak in waitingThis is identity fraud on a huge scale waiting to happen... Asking for a passport style photo and all your passport details, everything from the PLF home address, telephone, email, dob, expiry dates etc.. and they ask if they can share with even more 3rd parties.. which you have to agree to. It wouldn't take much for a 15 year old IT whiz to hack this and clone everybodies passports...plus they want pictures of your children too. Add to this: everything they supposedly need to verify your travel, BA already asked for and have verified themselves for you to be able to even check in. Having flown 6 times during the pandemic, I've not seen a single "verifly fast lane" and check in is all done prior online anyway. Pointless, data grab - stay well clear! Protect your identity!.Version: 1.1.2

Needlessly TediousThis app is infuriating. I have now had 2 issues where the only fix is to delete our account and restart the whole COVID registration process. The first one is that VeriFLY retrieved our primary guest’s birthday wrong and we didn’t catch it until we were trying to approve documents with birthdays on it. I could change the birthday of everyone else within our group except for the primary’s for some absurdist reason. After deleting the account, resetting it, and entering all of our information again, the COVID approval step for one of our other party members has been pending now for 16 hours. This was unusual and I filled out a service request. Their solution? Delete the account and start over again. That seems ridiculous since the data was submitted to them. It seems like it would be easy enough to allow resubmissions or something but apparently no. The only solution is to completely start over for the 2nd time. This is obnoxious app seemed like an easy fix for COVID travel, has turned into an bureaucratic, poorly designed slugfest..Version: 1.3.3

Definitely NOT good/reliable for UK usersSadly, the training for their vaccination certificate review staff means they cannot work out that if you present QR codes for vaccinations 3 and 4, you must have had vaccinations 1 and 2. Having overcome that hurdle after many attempts and going through their help team, who to be fair were helpful, the app then lost my data when I opened it on the day of travel (I am very IT literate). Attempting to recover my account retrieved the successful vaccination review message but not the data, meaning I had to start all over again and you guessed it, was met with repeated unsuccessful reviews of vaccination QR codes. In the end I ran out of time after multiple failed attempts. It took 5 seconds to show my hard copy certificate to someone trained, at the boarding gate and I put the stress of a disappointing travel app behind me. I will also feed back to HAL..Version: 1.3.4

Don’t bother! What a useless waste of half a day of my holiday battling with this app and BA. The app doesn’t let you enter a departure from Gatwick so is totally useless and this app is required by BA for online check in. Feels like I have been going round in circles all afternoon. I even went to Gatwick the day before my flight to get my on line check in working and the result - you can’t check in on line..Version: 1.3.0

WhyWhy do I need ANOTHER app to fly on a plane. This is getting absurd..Version: 1.3.4

App needs to be updated like NOWWhen creating VeriFLY Account, the user field names should be consistent with passport field names (First name, Middle Name, Last name). All user name fields should allow for blank spaces or hyphenation dashes so that the user full name is consistent with the passport document exactly. My last name is three words separate with blank spaces in between and matches my US passport. The only way for me to get my Covid vaccine record name to match the user name on VeriFLY app is to remove the spaces and show my last name as one word with the first letter of the second and third words of my last name capitalized. It was the closest roundabout way of showing my last name with three separate words which matched my passport, airline ticket, covid vaccine record, and covid test result. For my return flight from LHR to LAX, even upon getting a green check mark and a ready to travel status, the VeriFLY app needs to sync with American Airlines app in real-time. I have a green check mark and ready to travel status, but I cannot check-in for flight because AA says my VeriFLY status is incomplete. What? So now I can’t check in on my AA app. Totally useless VeriFLY app..Version: 1.1.4

HorrificNot a smart app. Doesn’t let you edit the names. May keep insisting something is wrong and doesn’t accept an upload to review. We should be able to upload the documents and some explanation in case there is a name mismatch so someone could review them, but it uses an inconvenient automated system instead. I tried my COVID check in over twenty times and still says there’s a name mismatch even though every single letter was written right. Will have to do an in-person check in anyway, so why use such an useless system?.Version: 1.3.4

If I could give it 0 stars, I would12 hours later, and my documentation still hasn’t been “verified”. You can bet if I chose to pay for expedited it would have been. Probably the most useless app I have ever seen. Read reviews on TrustPilot - I find it very suspicious they have a 4.5 rating on the app store.Version: 1.2.0

This app is unnecessaryJust give up on the need to prove vaccination… I played by all the rules and was happy to get jabbed but your privacy policy sucks this app is crap and American Airlines forced you to use it to check in -1/10 I feel horrible for the people that pay without seeing the option to just wait…..Version: 1.4.0

KBNot user friendly.Version: 1.3.4

Encumbers international travelAmerican Airlines required that we download this app to upload information for international travel. We followed all instructions weeks in advance, uploaded all documents for vaccinations and had the green light until my husband tried to check in for our flight at 5:30am this morning. Suddenly, there is an issue with my account only, but the area of issue is for verifying my vaccine status for the country we are traveling to…which cannot be completed until 11pm TOMORROW. We couldn’t even check in on the phone with American. So now, we have to go to the AA desk at 3am to have them manually check us in because of this ridiculous glitch/screw up/whatever it is. This also is not a case of user error, but rather application faultiness, as my travel agent took this exact same trip about 3 weeks ago and had the exact same headache. We will never fly an airline that requires this app for “seamless and contactless travel” as this has been neither..Version: 1.3.3

IssuesSo I started the process to get my pass over 2 weeks before my embarkation date to make sure that I was getting everything done and to see how the app worked. Well the only thing I did on the first day was input my cruise info and my attestation for testing. I did not have my vaccine card with me and it was too early to have my covid test so that part wasn’t done. When I tried to go back in the next day to input my vaccine card info I wasn’t able to because my picture could not be recognized anymore. Over the course of two weeks I tried everyday and sometimes multiple times a day with no luck of getting back in. 2 days before my trip I finally got back in and was able to add everything. I really hope that I didn’t just waste all of that time for it not to work when I get too my cruise terminal. Idk what to tell anybody to do because I’m not sure what I did and I’m hoping I don’t have that issue anymore..Version: 1.3.2

The new normal means wasting time on redundant formsIm traveling to a country that doesn't require covid tests or visas to enter. Apparently the new normal means downloading a pointless app and filling out the same information I already filled out half a dozen times on half a dozen websites only to not be able to check in online for my biz ticket flight. I dont blame the developers I blame society. Edit: Ive used it a few times now and am upgrading it from 2 stars to 3 stars, only because other airline check in procedures are worse. The new feature theyve added is to charge you $8 for the service of taking a glance at your test result within 15 minutes. The same service that takes the check in agent 10 seconds. Also, they don't check on arrival in the states, so the states outsourced this job to the airlines, then American outsourced this job to the app, prohibits you from checking in without it, and charges you $8 PER CHECK IN for the pleasure. This is the new normal..Version: 1.1.9

Useless appThe app doesn’t work half the time and it is difficult to add or change information. The help link is also useless and doesn’t address even the most basic questions. Total waste of time.Version: 1.3.4

So badThe first 5 minutes of using this app were enough for me to delete it. Tried to input my flight and it gave me three airlines to chose from. THREE!! Then I couldn’t get any further on the page because it froze. Junk app..Version: 1.3.4

Small problems, big annoyance, and pointless. VeriGROUNDEDI haven’t even finished what I was doing and I’ve come here to write a negative review. Why did I need to use this in the first place? That’s on BA, not this app. Other airlines I can upload directly or just show at boarding. So already I’m annoyed to download one more app and share my email to one more company. Issues: I need to use this for BA, logically I look for BA on the app since that is how I would expect it to connect, wrong! I need to search “a trip to…”. Why do I need to write “a trip”?? Seems a pain. Why does the search not work interactively, i.e. update real time? It’s not hard… Anyway, where am I going? London? No. United Kingdom? No. Ahh, maybe they want GB, or England? Nope. It’s “UK”, no “U.K.”, “UK” Great. So now I’m on my trip, flight number BA0XXX, let me search, doesn’t exist. Double check BA booking, I’m correct. For some absolutely inexplicable reason they’ve removed the leading 0, so on VeriFLY it’s BAXXX, apparently that can happen but quite frustrating nonetheless, and an app that I was directed to from a page describing flight BA0XXX must do better. That’s where I’ve got to anyway. Could be more seamless, mostly annoyed at BA. Only stole from me 3 minutes of frustration (+10 more to write this :)). If they fixed these problems I’d still be annoyed, not needing the app in the first place would make me happy, sometimes the simplest solutions….Version: 1.1.9

Terrible. The developers of this app should be utterly embarrassed. It has taken hours to get it to work, and I’ve lost count of the number of times I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app..Version: 1.3.3

Money making scam! This app was created to fool you into paying them for their inability to upload PDF documents or read QR codes! Class action on its way!!.Version: 1.3.3

Doesn’t Pass Data Off to Airline Correctly, No-Existent SupportI needed to use this to be able to check in for my international flight online with American Airlines. I filled out everything for myself and my travel companion, and got the Green Check Mark/Passes for both of us in VeriFLY. Went to check in on American Airlines and it keeps showing my companion as incomplete. It shows me as ready though. I contacted VeriFLY support and was given a stock answer about Name, date of birth or record locator not matching. I verified all these were correct on both sides - AA & VeriFLY, still not working. Deleted the trip and started over, still no luck. Did it all on my companion’s phone with her as primary traveler, still nothing. Called AA and the verified that there was no mismatch, that VeriFLY just had not transmitted all of the info for my companion. They gave me a phone number to call VeriFLY, but it was out of service. Unless it fixes itself, looks like I’ll have to check in at the airport. Massive waste of time..Version: 1.1.9

VeriFLYWorst app I have ever used, should not be forced on us by British airways to check in for flights and Fail to be allowed. 1) it wouldn’t allow me to submit my husband’s photo as companion despite using the Sam camera phone for my own photo 2) it rejected our Antigen test results from a BA verified government approved pharmacy even though Antigen tests are approved by the Bahamas tourism authority, so much so that after I submitted them we received very promptly our Bahamas Health Visa by email to permit us to enter the country! Thank Goodness for sensible human check in staff at Heathrow who could look up the actual regulations. 3) now trying to return to London, VeriFLY does not recognise Lynden Pendling Nassau airport that we are due to depart from on Tuesday. I give up BRITISH AIRWAYS do something.Version: 1.1.9

HorribleAfter a very long day at conference I am asked at last minute that I can’t check in with AA because I have to download and fill out an app and get. Verified once again. It’s now almost midnight and This takes over 30 minutes. Waist of time and AA should be doing better. This could have been asked of me over a month ago when I booked the flight and not the night before. Silly app, it doesn’t even ask you for your Nexus card or your Covid verifications and the only thing I needed to verify was a check box that I have a form. Why why why:).Version: 1.4.0

Date Doesn’t workI had my PCR test on the 8th of July and I’m leaving on the 11th. But when I tried to enter this information into the app the drop-down only starts on the 9th which is only two days before the flight whereas I’m allowed to take the PCR test three days before the flight. Ended up calling the hotel, the airline, and the immigration people of where I’m going in order to verify that I can indeed use these PCR tests. How annoying. If I use the 9th from the drop-down then I get a bunch of messages saying that the data doesn’t match and it won’t accept my PCR test. Pretty useless. Addendum: looks like the data feed is wrong and the app thinks that I’m actually landing the day after I’m actually landing. BA 0255 can someone fix data.Version: 1.1.2

Privacy policy is bad…The 3rd question is asking to share your information with 3rd party and does not allow you to continue!!!!.Version: 1.3.4

Useless App- it doesn’t work and when it does, it doesn’t adhere to the Covid requirementsI have tried to use this app twice now with no success. The first time I tried to use it 6 months ago, it wouldn’t accept my Covid test because I took it about 71 hours before my departure from Aruba (75ish hours from arrival in the US) and it would only accept results within 72 hours of my arrival time into the US (which wasn’t the requirement at the time). After searching a while, I found a customer service number and was rudely told they didn’t care what the real Covid requirements were, for their app it was 72 hours from arrival in the US and that I wouldn’t be able to use it for the trip. The second time it wouldn’t recognize the US as a valid destination. I tried searching for “US”, “USA”, “United States” and “United States of America”. It couldn’t find a result for any of the search options, so I couldn’t even get to the point of trying to upload Covid test results. If I could give this negative stars I would and it is ridiculous that it’s required for check-in on American international flights when the app just plain doesn’t work. For an app that’s supposed to make travel easier, it truly couldn’t be more frustrating and pointless..Version: 1.1.9

VeriflyCumbersome. on Ipad I could not scroll down to choose airline so could not complete flight details. Did not accept Canadian QR Codefor Covid vaccination..Version: 1.3.4

Horrible experience with this AppThis app is a complete joke. First, it is horrendously slow, then when asked to enter the date and time of our Covid test (the primary purpose of the app), it gives a range of dates and times to select from that does not include the dates when we had our tests. Entering dates and times that weren’t correct allowed us to move to the next step and upload our “proof of negative Covid test document,” which then indicated it would be scrutinized and they would let us know. About an hour later, we got emails indicating we could go online and check our results, which were not accepted, because there was a "discrepancy between the dates on our Covid test paperwork and the information we entered on their form." Luckily, when we got to the airport, this eVerifly step is not at all required, and our paper documents showing we’d had our test within the 72 hour window were more than sufficient. Any claims by eVerifly indicating they are simplifying the process for getting onto your flight is entirely and utterly false. We wasted 2 hours the night before and another hour the following morning, only to find this step completely unnecessary..Version: 1.1.7

Complete sht showRoyal waste of time. Shame on the app developer.Version: 1.4.0

Do not pay for express serviceIt doesn’t work. There is no phone number to ring them to resolve issues. Its just money for free for them..Version: 1.3.4

Not worth the hassleAs others have said, the app is very clunky and not intuitive. But, if I wanted to check in online for our return trip from the Bahamas, it was required by American Airlines. I finally got everything uploaded correctly the day before my flight, but after 16 hours our Covid tests had still not been reviewed. So, 6 hours before my flight, I contacted support. Literally within minutes, it showed my results as reviewed and issued a “pass” for my family of four. However, I still couldn’t check in because AA showed “Verified” for two of us, but “Incomplete” for the other two. I contacted American, and they said the problem was that VeriFLY wasn’t transmitting the information correctly to them. I contacted VeriFLY again, and they said the problem was on the American side, and that I could show my VeriFLY “pass” when I checked in at the airport. At that point, I had gained exactly nothing. It would be just as easy (or easier?) to show my Covid test results at the airport as it would be to show my VeriFLY pass..Version: 1.0.23

Terrible appCruise lines should NOT be using this app. Is is unresponsive and unorganized. After uploading all my information and waiting for the email advising of my status, I opened the app the next day to find out that the information was all gone…. All fields empty!! Also does not allow for additional COVID boosters and therefore rejects your certificate because “it doesn’t match the information provided” Have not been able to find a way to delete unwanted trip information Does not have enough airlines listed..Version: 1.3.3

This app has gone downhill…not maintained properlyI used this a year ago and it was great. This trip is has been awful. Every time I open the app it’s like the first time I’ve ever been in it. There’s no login. After I pretend like I’m onboarding it recognizes I have an account and brings it up after email verification. And then it wants yet another passport style photo. Which I had already previously entered along with all my trip details. You’re not always in an environment to take a photo in good lighting with a plain background which is why I took the photo at home before I left for my trip. Made this app completely worthless to be able to check in. Also did not have the updated requirements for my destination. Had an old health site as a requirement when the site that destination used had been updated weeks before..Version: 1.3.4

GlitchesToo many glitches with this app. Had to upload documents multiple times and few days before the trip it showed all documents missing so had to redo all the work. Not very trustworthy..Version: 1.4.0

Not user friendly for unvaccinated passengersTravelling with a 4 year old for whom there is no vaccination schedule. When attempting to check in there is no selection for unvaccinated passengers so cannot be checked in. This will cause issues & delays when departing. Massive oversight which I can’t believe has not been fixed..Version: 1.3.3

Such a painIt doesn’t sync properly with my flight itinerary so I can’t check in even though I completed all the steps..Version: 1.3.4

Try changing anything-impossibleTry numerous times in hotline and they could not help Change my mothers photo as it was under my booking and my photo kept appearing with all her correct details. Gave up in the end!! Need a better app as elderly people don’t have smart phones!.Version: 1.3.2

Deleting old tripsI followed the directions for deleting a trip but it just doesn’t work. I have four trips under a cruise line. Two if then I have completed. The only way to delete is to delete the cruise line. Ok, but when you select cruise line again, expecting it to be “clean” so you can put your new trip in, the old ones are still there. There should be a way to delete a trip under a category or it should automatically drop off after a set time (to allow for delays in trip). Otherwise it works fine but I guess I need to delete the app and reinstall to see if the past trips fall off. Otherwise I’ll be strolling through past trips to find the one I’m on. It’s nice to be able to put all my trips in but not if I can’t delete them after..Version: 1.2.1

Needs more debuggingI recently returned from a trip to Italy. I had my negative rapid Covid test results and uploaded the document to VeriFLY. For type of test, I selected antigen. The other choices were PCR, which I knew was incorrect, and several other choices of acronyms. I submitted my document and other information and waited for approval. But my submission was rejected for wrong type of test. So, I resubmitted with one of the acronyms and it was rejected again. I am not a scientist, how am I supposed to know which type of test it was? I was recently sure it was antigen but the reviewers at VeriFLY rejected it. Obviously they don’t look at the uploaded document! I was able to find customer support within the app (a formidable task) and ask if antigen was the correct type of test. Their response was yes. Obviously the reviewers at VeriFLY don’t know what they are doing. By the time I got a response from customer support it was too late to resubmit. I had to go to the airport and check in there as American Airlines would not allow me to do it without using VeriFLY. I am surprised American Airlines relies upon VeriFLY as such an integral part of their check-in process. VeriFLY could be a very useful tool after further debugging..Version: 1.3.1

Very inconsistentFirstly, the “trip to the USA” option took days to show up on my wife’s app as an option for available passes. Secondly, we’ve been in Mexico for a few days and return tomorrow. Took our antigen tests yesterday morning. I went through the steps to upload my document for step 1 and submitted around 10:47am. Then did so for my wife on hers. She received an email and confirmation of the review to proceed to step 2 within 1.5 hours. I still haven’t almost 24 hours later. Called customer service yesterday afternoon to inquire if there was anything I could do to help the approval process. The rep, Angie, had me on hold for 10 minutes and did she couldn’t even find a record of my submission and it would probably show upon their system closer to the flight. Reiterated to her that this didn’t make sense as my wife was reviewed to proceed within an hour. Here we are knots 24 hours later and nothing yet. Both app and customer service are unimpressive. Have shared this with the AA platinum desk..Version: 1.0.22

Needs a LOT of improvement! For an app that is supposed to make your international travel easier, it does everything but! I had used it a few years ago and found it buggy and cumbersome. This time I flat out hated it ! Every time I tried to log in - even tho I had a login and password - it treated me like a first time user. It also does not advise you until you have to start all over again that you can only log in on one device. So if while at home you create and start on a laptop you can’t use it on your phone without starting all over. It also doesn’t tell you until it’s too late that you can’t use it within 24 hours of your flight departure. So if you need to wait for COVID tests or visas like we did we had very little time to use the app. I would ditch it and get someone who has actually travelled internationally to advise on how it can be salvaged..Version: 1.2.1

Frustrating! This app is the most frustrating I’ve ever used. Health declaration for two, but won’t allow for others. Hard to upload certificates for some but not for others. Ready to give up.Version: 1.3.4

Useless AppUser interface is terrible. Ask for nonexistent information. Sent me a message telling me to update vaccination information, but no link and no apparent way to do this. Don’t waste your time with this App.Version: 1.1.0

Terrible functionality and no confidenceFirstly, at the moment, you can only input a trip that is less that 7 days ahead of the trip. Very annoying as you have to remember to enter it at that time. But the really abysmal thing about this app is that after you’ve submitted your certificate for negative COVID test for review, there is no timeframe given for when it will be approved (or not) and so you are constantly checking. There’s no update status in the app. Nothing. I submitted my certificate yesterday at 15:30. It’s 18:00 now, so it’s been 26.5 hours, and it still hasn’t been approved and there has been no update/communication with me to let me know the status. My flight leaves tomorrow at 16:00. I called VeriFLY a few minutes ago and although the representative answered after the second ring, she wasn’t able to disclose any helpful information on the status of my review. In addition, she says they will let me know at the latest 3 hours prior to my flight. Travelling right now is already extremely stressful and this app is making it even more so. Unfortunately, because I don’t have approval yet, I can’t check in for my flight or select my seats (this is a British Airways requirement). My advice, don’t fly with BA as this app is trash. And you have no choice but to use it if you fly with BA..Version: 1.0.24

Not Happy!Having received the email from BA just the day before we’re due to travel travel I thought this seemed like a good idea hoping it would make for a seamless process. How wrong can you be! The app is clumsy to say the least. Why can’t they just ask where you’re going instead of ‘A trip to’? 8 hours later after putting in all the required information including QR codes I still haven’t had confirmation so I can’t check in online with BA. VERY frustrating. If everything went the way they tell you it will it would be a great service. As it is, it’s really annoying that they seem unable to verify the information quickly so that I can check in for flights the day before and book my seats!.Version: 1.1.11

Bad designI have this app installed on my iPhone and so an account was created. Now when I go to install the same app in another device, I’m being pushed to create an account and I have been given no option to login to the same account. Of course I can’t progress as I only get an option to create an account the first time I load the app. When in the app, I can’t see which guest I’m modifying the details, and so in one case I loaded my photo for another quest. I can’t update the photo either. The same goes for the vaccination certification. I loaded the wrong certificate and couldn’t correct it. I had to wait for someone to review and decline before I can load the correct certificate.Version: 1.3.4

DisgracefulIf I could give this App 0 I would but it only allows you to go ad low as 2 stars. I wonder why. After filling in all the details they mysteriously just disappeared. I had to Input everything again. Test results had to go in twice as in the drop down menu for tests it did not have an option for Antigen test. Only second time round did this option appear. This was done therefore 8 Times altogether. When we got the all clear & our passed we went to confirm our flights but couldn’t confirm because the American Airlines App showed some info was still ‘pending’. Despite contacting VeriFLY Help numerous time nothing changed. It is now 11 at night & I am in danger of losing my flights because I cannot confirm. I am tired & angry. What a terrible App. Poor, poor, poor..Version: 1.1.8

Promises lots, delivers only frustration! When I saw that BA were recommending this app to speed progress through the airport, I thought that it would be great for an overseas trip we are about to depart on. Inputting the required information seemed fairly straightforward and the “manual review” of our PCR test results was completed in around 15 minutes. We got the green “Ready to Travel” and thought we were good to go. Then came the time to check-in for our BA flight. The BA app on iPad and iPhone as well as the BA website on the Apple devices and Windows PC all failed to allow us to complete check-in, since they could not verify our health prerequisite information which we had entered into VeriFLY. We now face a very early start tomorrow morning to join lengthy queues at the check-in desk, rather than the swift “bag-drop” which we had anticipated. Thank you VeriFLY for completely wasting so much of my time and raising my blood pressure..Version: 1.1.8

Garbage appAmerican Airlines make you use this useless app that does nothing but get your data..Version: 1.3.4

Not intuitiveDownloaded to use with BA flights and used to fly to Ireland. Worked well and enabled online check-in. Seems to work by sector only and not booking reference. Then tried to set up next trip to Spain and suffered the reduced airline list of AA and EI only choices. Only on going to the help section did I discover a short list of countries which work with BA which did not include Spain! Apparently will work inbound to UK so we shall see in due course. Seems to have been introduced a little early without full debugging and needs more co-ordination with Airlines. If Airline was the first selection and destination the second a lot of frustration mentioned in other reviews could have been avoided..Version: 1.1.4

Worst app I have ever usedThe airline I made my reservations with insinuated on its app that I could not proceed with check in until I completed the VeriFLY requirements. The process to input my information and photo went smoothly. BUT once I tried to complete it with my flight and vaccinations information it refused to proceed. All I could get was a page that said it was working to improve its app. It would not let me move any further. It was the day before my flight to Madrid, Spain. It left me completely confused and frustrated. I called the airline to get help checking in and was on hold for over a hour. To make matters worse once I spoke to someone he disavowed any knowledge about the app and informed me that he would not help me complete the process as he had no training on it. I had to drive over 30 minutes to the airport, pay for parking, and go to the airline ticket counter to make sure I had all the requirements to check in. Ten thumbs down to the airlines, American and to the app developer..Version: 1.3.2

Shockingly badSo the very first screen you get asks you to search for a trip. It doesn’t explain what that is but you are given a search field and a list of trips, sorted alphabetically starting with “A trip to Antigua” So I try and search for my destination, the island of St Lucia. Nothing found. I search for “Caribbean“ or“Saint“ or my flight number or Heathrow or British Airways. Nothing works. So I scroll down the list of “A trip to…“ and it shows a list of countries starting with A, and when you get to the bottom of the short list, about 10 entries, it stalls and then a few seconds later it loads a few more countries beginning with A, and you scroll down a bit more and then it stalls and you wait again for a few more countries. Until you get to a country beginning with “B”. Seriously? How long is it going to take me to get to countries beginning with “S“? This is a joke. At this point I gave up. Some people claim this might save you time at the airport but I could not get beyond the Home Screen. And yes I even read the help (which is really poor) and it didn’t help in the slightest. So I uninstalled the app. Really, these guys haven’t got a clue. Don’t waste your time..Version: 1.1.9

Awful app, inadequate informationIf you want to waste an hour or two trying to enter information on this app, and not succeeding this is the app for you. The help section is of little use, a dismal performance. It needs to be redesigned. Doesn’t really rate even one star..Version: 1.1.2

Not User FriendlyNot user friendly. Very difficult and so many steps to submit my covid certifcate. I had to download an International covid certificate for travel in Australian waters. Very frustrating. No one to call and speak to for assistance..Version: 1.3.4

Painful and unnecessaryRequired by AA to check in and avoid their requirement to be at the airport THREE hours prior to a flight from the USA to Canada, this app is not available on a non-mobile device, where I was otherwise handling my check in. As I muddled through their opaque user interface, I was confronted with a pay wall to get “fast handling” of the manual review required of the image of my COVID vaccination card. Fifteen bucks - or else I could gamble that Verifly’s review of my card would get done on a Sunday before my early morning flight the next day. What a scam! I took the “skip this step” route and crossed my fingers. Within two hours, my information was processed and verified, and I was able to check in online. Granted, air travel has become a slog and a chore since 911, but AA did not have to add this unnecessary and time consuming app to the check in process. Not to mention that ANOTHER private company with whom I previously had no legal or business relationship, now has my personally identifiable information. God help us..Version: 1.3.3

Usage of appHad to repeat info for one trip. Info for flight and then same info for cruise portion App should be able to duplicate info ie uploaded Covid certificates and pictures.Version: 1.3.4

Maybe just a bugI’ve used this app once in the winter of 2021 to go from the US to Canada and the check in process was flawless! It states it takes about an hour to process my negative COVID results and it was true. Now, I am preparing for a trip from US to Canada once again and everything was going well until Verifly couldn’t complete my form because I needed to confirm my citizenship (which I am a citizen of the US.) I couldn’t continue with my check in online because of the app locking the feature of me verifying my citizenship until 3 days before my return flight and after contacting customer support by email (kind of wish I was able to communicate by call, but email is the only form of communication it seems), they told me it would be best to just check in at the airport. I would’ve loved to have been able to save time by checking in online, although I understand how there could be a bug or two in an app. I do hope they can either fix this or revise it considering that us travelers would need to arrive earlier at the airport because of these issues. Hopefully everyone else will have a better experience and a safe travels!.Version: 1.3.2

GlitchI do not have a barcode type vaccine prove and the app won’t allow me to travel every one else got their boarding pass except me contacted customer service and told me to cancel my trip I’m no very happy.Version: 1.3.4

Incomprehensible and counterintuitive UIIn 2021, rarely does one encounter a smartphone app with such an abjectly awful user interface. If I were teaching a college course on how not to design an app, I would probably use this one as an example. It’s as if the developers deliberately set out to make everything about creating a trip as difficult and counterintuitive as possible. I eventually figured out how to create a trip after (a lot of) trial and error, but my mother, for example, was completely stumped and I had to create her pass for her. I imagine that others in her generation probably feel similarly. It’s even more incredible since nothing about the UI has changed in the past year when I use this app for the first time. It’s like the developers don’t care about the feedback or about improving the user experience. Really disappointing, especially given that essentially all European countries have rolled out very intuitive and easy-to-use covid vaccine apps. It’s really not that hard. But you do have to try a tiny little bit a guess – must be too hard..Version: 1.1.9

The App from HellThis app has stressed my friends and I out so much that we don’t actually want to go on holiday now. You enter information. It loses the information. And repeat. And repeat. It won’t recognise proof of vaccination from the NHS ( unrecognised provider). Finally after days of trying we get all our info in. Go to check in online to our British Airways flight and choose seats. No. Can’t check in or choose seats because we haven’t uploaded our Covid info. Well yes. We have and we’ve got the VeriFly passes to prove it. I would seriously advise people to avoid this app like the plague and just take your paper documents to the airport. That way you’ll be able to check in and get seats the night before just like we use to be able to do before VeriFly..Version: 1.3.1

Poorly writtenThis is a textbook example of when a reliable company (an airline) outsources a critical piece to the lowest bidder. This app doesn’t work properly. The user interface was designed by someone who doesn’t know the basics of UI design. It reflects badly on the airline that they force their customers to use this poorly written app before they can check in online..Version: 1.2.1

Could be handy travel tool but needs major workI downloaded this app to support an international flight on American Airlines. Download was easy and the system is mostly intuitive to use. However, I experienced problems uploading the Covid test results. Specifically I uploaded my test results and then my husband’s test results within minutes of each other using primarily the same data for location, provider, and results. My husband’s results were reviewed and accepted within 20 minutes. My results were rejected stating my document didn’t meet requirements. Interesting that my document looked exactly like my husband’s which they accepted. I resubmitted it starting from scratch twice more before it was accepted. Aggravating to say the least. Then for the return flight, the American Airlines app wouldn’t allow checking until the return Covid test results were uploaded but the VeriFLY app did not provide a function for the return portion of the trip on the international side. It also wouldn’t let me add a new trip for the return from the international side. The app does not support return trip upload of Covid docs st all and provides no customer support to address the problem. It could be a useful app but needs major work to function properly, consistently, and for round trip purposes..Version: 1.1.2

Worst app everThe app wasn’t updating, so I deleted it from my ipad with the intention of reinstalling it. I had already uploaded my photo, international Vax Certificate and Covid test result. However, deleting the app seems to have also deleted all the data I had previously entered. I have lost my will to live! I won’t be re-entering it all. The cruise line will just have to view all my documentation when I check in. Don’t bother with this app..Version: 1.3.4

Single device appUpdated app on iPad. Tried to add to phone and no trip pass there. Went back to iPad and everything was deleted. It’s also telling me to add flight but very few airlines available. Waste of my time.Version: 1.3.4

Inefficient and not helpfulWe are currently in Aruba, took our Covid test on Sunday afternoon, it is Tuesday morning, it has still not been approved, our flight leaves in a few hours. We are not allowed to check into our flight until the test has been approved by VeriFly. So what was the point of downloading the app, uploading the results, creating profiles, reaching out to VeriFLY via email 6 times (finally got a response after the 6th time), called them using international charges (automation said 5 min wait time...after 20 mins of waiting, finally had to hang up bc I didn’t want to keep racking up international charges), etc . If we just need to go do it all at the airport? Takes a lot for me to leave a “negative review” (have only left 2 in my life haha) but the app and process is disappointing. Update… Callwd VeriFLY once again, spent 10 minutes on the phone, they finally pushed our results through and we were approved two hours before our flight. Lady on the phone was helpful. Still, overall process was a hassle..Version: 1.0.24

Unnecessary, tedious, uselessApp is unnecessary. Tedious process to Provide information, select flights etc. Tell the app your name, provide personal details, then tell it what flight you’re on, and then the app will amazingly tell you your name and what flight you’re on..Version: 1.3.0

BA use this app and force you to as wellUnlike other airlines BA force you to use this app and upload all your personal data passenger locator form and covid passes day two tests booked and a personal photo Before you can book in online. Otherwise you have to queue at the book in desk even if you just have hand luggage. Even after parting with all my personal data we could not book in online and had to queue and show our hard copies just to get boarding passes as this app does not work effectively with BA app. You are required by many countries to carry hard copies of your covid passes and locator forms anyway so this app servers no purpose except to grab all data and force you to queue up like the 1990s. Will not travel with BA again while his is in place. The ratings say it all terrible..Version: 1.1.6

Technical IssuesDoes not take local time zone into account when validating test submission date and time. Had to wait a few hours after testing to submit because the app wasn’t aware of what time zone I was in..Version: 1.3.4

Not working very wellWe entered all our information for myself and my husband. My husbands came back in minutes all confirmed. I waited a few hours, went to bed, next morning still not confirmed, still saying pending. Wrote company, told me to delete everything and start again. I did that. Now all has been accepted, check marks everywhere, but still no pass..Version: 1.3.4

Is in spanish!!!How do I change the language? The app is in spanish. My iphone is in french… There is no option to change the language..Version: 1.3.4

PITAMost aggravating procedures EVER!.Version: 1.3.4

Computer Says NoAs other reviewers have said, this app is complete garbage. Why BA still insist on using it is beyond me. The app is so binary in that everything has to match and be perfect and there can be no edge cases. My wife’s vaccine passport is in her married name whilst her passport is in her maiden name. There’s no way of uploading a supporting document and so we couldn’t submit through the app and therefore couldn’t check-in online via the BA app. Support is pretty much non-existent and the manual review will reject things with little explanation as to why. As a case in point we submitted a COVID test result as a back-up for my wife’s predicament and it was rejected. Essentially this app epitomises everything that’s wrong with BA customer service..Version: 1.1.11

I couldn’t hate it more if I triedUpdate: I had to show all my travel docs at the airport despite being “cleared” by this app. Check in agent said some people had been verified who shouldn’t have been so now they were also checking manually at the airport. Even if you manage to get this app to work, the only advantage it gives you is the ability to check in online, but you still have to wait in line to check in again at the airport. I am disgusted that BA forces you to download this app and provide all your most sensitive info to a third-party company for no reason at all. Hours and hours of my life have been spent entering data into this app, only to have it fail. I am now literally on my third go round of entering the same info, only to wait ages to have it verified. And for god’s sake, whatever you do, do not switch between iPad and phone apps, because it wipes all your data and you have to start again. This is my third trip trying to work with this app, it’s not worth it, it’s possibly the worst app ever and they don’t recognize it at the airport anyway. Wish zero stars were possible..Version: 1.1.8

Clunky, confusing, confused, and doesn’t work.I thought I’d check in online for my flight to the USA. BA insist I use this app to give them some information. It is confusing, and confused. Trying to work out how to tell it about my flights in an exercise in frustration. It thinks internal flights inside the USA involve “entering the country”. You have to keep guessing at what switches to click in order to satisfy the app. It requests permission to send sensitive data to dodgy locations - but there’s not much choice but to say yes. And finally, after the frustration of battling with the app, BA still won’t let me check in, because even though the app says I’ve provided all the data, BA says I haven’t. So it’s off to Heathrow tomorrow to stand in a massive queue and waste even more time, because this app failed so I have to “make sure I allow plenty of time for the check-in and verification process”, what a great way to smooth out the airport experience..Version: 1.3.2

Very frustratingWhat is the point to this app when you end up having to show all the documentation again at the airport and check in at airport because despite doing it hours before (more than 4 !) or the day before (!) it does not feed to Airline in time so you can’t check in online. Also surprised that airport drive through covid testers Express Test Qr codes not recognised by vertifly (and yes we did that the day before not day of flight!) so had to load up certificate for manual review, adding more delay to processing. They are a third party but why do only some official (and airport) testers have verifiable Qr codes and some not?. Does not feel like a ‘level’ playing field and left frustrated as did not make it simple for my son to travel on his own for the first time. Improvement needed!.Version: 1.1.11

Flight options not available so uselessWe received an E-mail from British Airways suggesting we could use the VeriFly app for our return flight to the UK and giving instructions. I successfully created a VeriFly account but the only option to enter the flight details is from the “Tap here to start” link on the app home page and that just lets me select a pre-defined trip. Using the only appropriate option allows me to select only two airlines (neither of which are British Airways) and departures from three American airports (none of which are applicable in our case). There are no options to upload documentation or enter flight details in the way indicated by the E-mail we got from British Airways. I can’t vouch for whether the app works well for other airlines or destinations but in our case it’s completely useless..Version: 1.1.4

Not Worth The EffortI found this app to be pointless. Having downloaded it, created an account, uploaded the details of my British Airways flight, then the PLF, then the Covid Passport then the negative test certificate required for our journey- and repeated the exercise for my wife, I sincerely hoped that the significant time involved would be worthwhile. It wasn’t. The app ‘verified’ our credentials and as we reached the front of the airport check in queue at the British Airways desk we presented our ‘Verifly’ pass. The lady at the British Airways check in desk wouldn’t accept it, indeed didn’t know what it was, nor did her colleague and said she required sight of the actual documents-fortunately we had them on our phones. So in my experience the Verifly app amounted to being a pointless gimmick which now has my personal data. My sense is that don’t waste your time, don’t expose your personal data, simply get organised and have the documents required on your smart phone or paper..Version: 1.1.2

NightmareTried for more than 6 hours to upload my travel documents (Covid vac. proof, passenger locator form and negative antigen test), it was impossible to do so. I tried in every possible way ( uploads from files, screenshots, scanning QR codes) with no avail. I was about to give up when I noticed that documents can be uploaded manually to be checked by veryfly so that’s what I did. After a while I got confirmation of them being accepted and was overjoyed but suddenly I noticed an error in the PLF (my son’s date of birth was wrong) so I amended it but of course Veryfly doesn’t have the option of replacing incorrect uploaded documents so I had to start all over again by deleting the app, downloading it again and starting from scratch…and of course the nightmare goes on and on. I’ll try to avoid flying BA in the future at all costs. 8 hours of my life wasted together with the resulting travel anxiety caused by Veryfly’s system. Very, very, very unhappy and angry..Version: 1.1.9

Not easily accessibleNot easy to use. Air Canada’s set up better.Version: 1.4.0

Consistently mediocre AA/VeriFLY ExperienceThis review is a combination of the VeriFLY and AA experience, since I don’t know what poor souls would use it outside of AA customers. So as others noted, app appears to have been programmed by a high school programming class. Like seriously, app appears to have a 10 year old design. I’ve used it multiple times now, still hate it. Not intuitive. At least it seems to have gotten faster at reading manual results, but even that screen is terrible, as the manual upload spot prefills but it so faint that I spent 5 minutes trying unsuccessfully to fill my name in until realizing it was, just so light of a font as to be almost unreadable. And then, even if you manage to navigate this mess of an app, chances are AA still won’t let you check in. Have you traveled to Europe? Sorry, visiting anywhere in the continent means you can’t complete check-in and your hour on VeriFLY was basically wasted..Version: 1.1.4

Companion ChaosThe app does not tell you that if you are traveling with a companion, you need to meet together with all documents to complete the verification process. My husband tried to check-in on his app at work, while I checked in on mine at home. The app would not complete our individual passes without the other, and repeatedly stated that my pass is complete but his is not, and his app showed that his was complete but mine was not. Neither of us could check in with American Airline or obtain boarding passes until this was resolved. Finally late at night before our early morning flight, as if we needed more stress, we both loaded the others’s vax info and passport plus a photo of our companion onto the app. Nothing in this process asked for his birth date, yet, it denied approval of his vaccination record because it states his birthday was incorrect. I entered his information again, and there was no opportunity to input his birthday, correct or otherwise. Upon arrival at the airport, my husband’s app displayed both our boarding passes, so we had to go through security and boarding like I was his child. When we arrive at our destination, I have no idea if they will let me into the country, send me out for a covid test, or WHAT. This is not helpful or expedient to our “relaxing” vacation..Version: 1.3.4

FLIGHTSI am not flying after this cruise but the app will not let me state that….Version: 1.4.0

Very unfriendly AppThis App leaves a lot to be desired. Many countries not available. Even if a U. S. Citizen returning to the USA, Verifly’s acceptance of a COVID PCR test is difficult to obtain likely because there are several varieties from country to country. I got a test at a clinic in Patagonia Argentina (a very remote area) and the clinic didn’t put my date of birth on the pdf report. I was required to add it manually, however, I had no way of printing it out to add and rescan. Their app can’t receive an annotated pdf, so I had to email it to a friend far away to have my DOB added and scanned back to me when VeriFLY already has that info. What an unbelievably awkward process! If it isn’t bad enough to have to put up with all the different country’s bureaucracies, you will have to also put up with the USA’s and Verifly’s. Additionally, Verifly’s emails are sent from “noreply” mailboxes, so no practical way to communicate with them. No help what-so-ever. I can’t understand why American Airlines would outsource to this service. What happened to doing it themselves? It’s better to just hand carry your documents or electronic PDFs. Most airline staff don’t have a clue what they’re looking at. Bureaucratic useless requirements are not going to help reduce the spread of this so called pandemic. The incompetence everywhere is astounding..Version: 1.1.8

Don’t trust itMy trip suddenly disappeared without a trace and can’t be retrieved - very concerning when this is something needed in order to check in! This app has clearly been developed on a shoe string budget, which is unacceptable for something so important..Version: 1.1.2

What happened to Sydney airportI’m travelling to the US in January from Sydney on American Airlines and was advised by them to load the App. However when I tried to load in my flight details the app doesn’t recognise any airports in Australia. The app would appear to be totally useless..Version: 1.1.8

ProblematicInefficient app with strange moments of unprofessional sounding language. Who is writing the copy? No idea who created it, if it’s official, government, BA? Weird stuff happens such as telling me I have a message ‘click here’ to then be linked to a page that says ‘oops. We think you made a mistake’. Overall a very glitchy tech experience for what is probably a totally unnecessary administrative safety procedure that has no real bearing on anyone’s safety. If the system and app has to continue to exist, which I hope it does not for many reasons, why ask for proof of negative antigen as the first step? I couldn’t take this test until 24 hours before flying, meaning all subsequent tests - for example proof of vaccinations status etc - all got pushed into the same, most frantic pre-travel window when I really needed to be packing and prioritising other important stuff..Version: 1.3.0

Ridiculously badI have never been more aggravated by an app that we were told that we have to have, and it’s impossible to use. Doesn’t recognize Canadian vaccination status, we literally spent hours trying to have our information accepted, doesn’t give a proper choice of airlines, because apparently Canadian airlines are non-existent? I hope restrictions are eased soon and I never ever have to do anything with Verifly again. I would give zero stars if I was able to. It has been such a frustrating stressful experience dealing with Verifly..Version: 1.4.0

Waste of timeWhy does American insist on using this useless program. The pandemic is over !!!.Version: 1.3.4

Should be betterDid everything we were supposed to. Uploaded Covid test a full 2 days before our flight back from Cancun. I even emailed asking how long it should take to get approved and the response was there is no timetable for reviewing. Day of the flight Covid test still hasn’t been approved so we get to the airport super early and wait in line for 90 minutes to check in. There was only about 3 people ever in the verifly line. About 2 hours before the flight the Covid test got approved. So it took over 2 days to verify? That’s completely unacceptable. You can’t expect people to use this app if they have to wait until the very last minute to see if their test has been approved for an international flight. I would have missed my flight had something happened and it not been approved and I’d waited. You need to fix your processes and approve more expediently to give people peace of mind rather than waiting until the last minute. Would be a 5 star review if I could have used the verifly line!.Version: 1.0.22

Completely useless appI had two trips to Mexico last week, each with four other people. During the first trip, it was the first time to use the App and it took us all quite some time to figure out how to use it and get the information in there. Therefore, it is not user friendly at all. Then we uploaded the test results more than a day prior to departure and the results were never confirmed prior to departure for all of us. They remained “pending”. For my second trip with a different group of five of us, I had to help all the other guys try to figure out how to set up the app and get the information uploaded. It was a major production. Again, not one test result was verified by the app: “pending” said the app up until take off. The app is worthless and can’t believe that American Airlines directs you to use it. My advice is to not use it and just take your test results to the ticket counter as it is so much easier. You don’t have to use the app so why waste your time?.Version: 1.0.24

Completely UselessAbsolutely do not download this app as it does nothing to expedite the check in process. I received an email from American Airlines stating that the VeriFLY app would be used to complete online check-in, validate COVID documents and receive a mobile boarding pass. After an hour of entering all my family’s personal information in VeriFLY, and 2 hours on the phone with American, I discovered that the VeriFLY app does nothing except allow you to “know” that you have the necessary documents to travel. You can’t check in online. You can’t bypass all the onerous airport COVID protocols. You have still have to check-in at the airport, present all your documents, and sign an attestation. So what exactly is the point of VeriFLY except to extract and store my personal data and sell it to third parties? This is NOT the case with United - the entire process is managed within the United app and allows you to receive a mobile boarding pass. What a waste of time..Version: 1.1.2

VeriFLYI have had to input my information about 6 times, not just the vaccine information, but start from the beginning each time. For me, for whatever reason, it was very time time consuming and just frustrating. I would get a message saying my information was accepted, go check the app, only to find I had something to complete. And so I started all over again..Version: 1.3.4

This app ruined my vacationAvoid using it, it is unnecessary and more importantly inaccurate. I used it on a recent trip to the Cayman Islands and it states that a negative Covid test is required 24 hours before the flight to Cayman; the truth is that the negative result is required the day before. Because my test was 26 hours before the flight, an American Airlines agent would not let my family on the flight even though I showed her the correct guidelines on the Travel Cayman website. We went over to Cayman airlines, bought new tickets for a flight that left three hours later and showed all travel documents directly instead of using the VeriFLY app. This app cost me extraordinary stress, anxiety and almost $1000; there is no way I would have been allowed into the country had my documentation not been perfect. I want to warn other travelers who like me, don’t travel often and can be confused by all of the Covid guidelines..Version: 1.1.11

ScamHow does this app have a 4.4rating with over 20k reviews and majority of the reviews being negative 1stars. How the hell are they charging to verify the vaccination. AA this is the last time in flying with yours airline bevause of this stupid process..Version: 1.4.0

Terrible appThe app errors out when adding flights. No support.Version: 1.3.4

A pointless app !Although the ability to save your details and return to them later is good, the functionality ( at least on an iPad which is all I had on holiday) is poor and doesn’t work. The most ridiculous part is that BA insist on you completing it and the airport staff weren’t interested in any if it ! Having assured you in their e mails that it would “ ease your check in process at the airport “, the airport staff insisted on seeing every document you had spent frustrating time trying to scan in to the app. Not once did they look at it or ask to see it and when I said “ I’ve put all of this on Verifly “ they just said “ it doesn’t matter,I need to see it all”. If that’s the case, why the hell do you need to spend what was probably several hours in the last 48 hours of your holiday, completing something that is of absolutely no use to anyone ? Pointless app that will hopefully soon be consigned to the bin when restrictions go and one BA should be embarrassed to be associated with..Version: 1.1.4

Generic form? Not fully up to date on my arrival requirements - the declaration is generic and would confuse some people..Version: 1.2.1

Cumbersome and hard to useThis app really needs a web version, so you can enter data on your PC or Mac. The app is useful when boarding, but a pain to use for entering data and uploading certificates..Version: 1.3.3

So not user friendlyThis silly App… who ever developed it doesn’t have a clue, if something is so difficult to use, why bother. So after 3 days of attempting to complete I am one day before the cruise, still not complete. Waste of my time for sure.Version: 1.3.4

Shame American Airlines for using thisTerrible experience. You need to create an account, verify email, take photos of yourself, upload vaccine documents.. all this to check-in a flight in 2023? They also charge you money to get faster verification. Took me 2 hours to get everyone checked in..Version: 1.3.4

Awful, time consuming appFeel coerced by BA into sharing personal information and visual images with a third party app. App obliges the traveller to agree to all its T&Cs in order to proceed, even though I am unhappy with this, and to be able to check in at home prior to departure. I have completed several international trips during Covid period with other airlines and have never been required to spend time working out how to operate the a clunky app and duplicating information which I already have to hand ready for showing at the airport, where no doubt I will be asked to hand it to staff anyway! BA should reconsider its relationship with this company as it dissuades me from booking with them again..Version: 1.1.11

So badNot working well.Version: 1.3.4

Unable to completeSince my return flight is over a month away, I can’t complete the VeriFLY steps..Version: 1.4.0

Not used any more.We were told that this is old and not used any more. Stop requesting us to use it..Version: 1.3.4

Works well, once you surmount its poor usabilityRecently used VeriFLY on trip from US to UK and Spain and back on American Airlines and British Airways. Checking in to flights in US, Spain and the UK showing my approval on VeriFLY made check in a breeze. Since I had uploaded my covid test, UK and Spanish travel plan documents, and vaccination status to VeriFLY in advance there was no need for me to show this paper documentation to the check in and customs agents at the airports. I was very pleased at how smooth VeriFLY made the process. However, the initial process of setting up trips and uploading documents in the app itself is very unintuitive and confusing. It’s pretty clear the app developers did little, if any, usability testing before launching the app. Or if they did, they tested it on engineers for whom the arcane process seemed clear. So give yourself lots of time before your trip to figure out how to use VeriFLY—like at least a week. If you try to use it last minute you are probably in for a world of frustration. Also, set up your trip in the app ahead of time, then upload all your vaccine, travel plan and covid test docs as soon as you have them—usually 48 hours before flying. Don’t wait until the last minute!.Version: 1.1.4

If you use don’t stop complete all the steps within a few minutesI am a developer, and i have to say i was surprised at how easy it was to get this app into a state that rendered it useless. I completed all but the attestation step, but had to stop in order to finish later. I came back about 14 hrs later to finish, but kept getting a “The Credentials Verification Service reported an error”. Tried quitting the app several times, rebooted my phone. Still got the error. Couldn’t find any info online about this specific error. Thought that perhaps removing the pass/trip would help. But that just retrieved the old pass/trip. Couldn’t find a way to delete the trip and start again. So i removed the trip again, uninstalled the app, and reinstalled the application. I tried creating a new pass/trip but the app kept seeing the first trip i created and i could no longer retrieve the first trip i had removed prior to uninstalling the app. The developers may want to change this inna future release if the application’s life cycle will warrant it.....Version: 1.0.14

Useless and a waste of timeFirst I never ever review anything! This I had too. I’ve traveled internationally 6 times using this app. It worked once. The first 2 times I uploaded my test result 2 days in advance and they never got checked. I never could proceed with the rest, so I couldn’t check in. The last 3 times everything was uploaded and finished 2 days In advance. Tests got approved, everything filled out, got my check mark saying I was approved to fly. Tried to check in and it said I wasn’t approved and I needed to download the app. American and the app weren’t evidently communicating and once again couldn’t check in. It’s a waste of time. You have to bring the paperwork with you anyway and end up using it to check in. The other problem is that the countries that you fly into don’t know what the app is and you still have to do all the same work. Total waste of time and total aggravation to even mess with..Version: 1.1.2

StressfulThis app is supposed to make your travel less stressful - it doesn’t. It makes it more stressful. It takes +4 hours to get an answer as to whether your documents are accepted. Mine wasn’t - with no explanation. I had a valid certificate from Boots. I resubmitted trying to take a better photo in case that was the issue - rejection. I then submitted an email question to help and submitted the same photo of the certificate again. Success! However, 8 hours later I receive a reply to my email saying they can’t tell me what was wrong with my document for privacy reasons, but I should phone them. Given my document had magically been accepted I didn’t bother. But wow - what poor service. When something is rejected the sender needs to know why. BA - drop this service, it’s damaging your brand..Version: 1.1.2

Pathetic data sharing appI have a child to young for vaccination and when I answer he is not vaccinated it say he cannot travel. But am unable to say way or change. You are suggesting people lie to pass the verification. Just another app staring your data with everyone as a rouse for speeding up your checkin..Version: 1.3.4

Full of glitches. gave us so much troubleMy partner and I had to upload our NHS vaccination certificates 10 times for them to get accepted. All the information we put in was correct and we were uploading the same information each time, it finally got accepted. Then we tried uploading our PCR results. This time, it didn’t accept the PCR results saying the date of the test cannot be in the future, eventhough the test is taken on the 17th and the test result is taken on the 18th and I am uploading on the 18th. September 17 is on the dropdown menu anyway! Finally it accepted that it is not a future date but it said the date I put in for the sample taken is not matching the report I uploaded which was not true! Eventhough all the information I put in was correct, I tried another 10 times and it wasn’t accepted so we couldn’t get the green pass from VeriFLY and almost couldn’t check in as the person at the check-in didn’t accept the covid vaccination certificates that the NHS gave us. Apparently they are valid in the UK but not valid for traveling to the UK. It is ridiculous! When I said the vaccination was accepted by VeriFLY, they didn’t think that was legit enough either. All these apps are giving us all this stress and waste our time all to collect our private data and track us! I cannot believe BA is partnering with this app as a legitimate platform with so many glitches!.Version: 1.1.4

Would be great if the reviewers weren’t making mistakes. This app made it easy to upload (but good luck if you’re trying on American Airlines WiFi, it took me 1 hour of trying to upload three pictures and timing out) but what was really frustrating was the inconsistent review standards and mistakes. My negative COVID test was rejected because it “didn’t have my DOB” when it actually WAS on there. But written sideways. I had to retake the picture and resubmit (which is a LOT of fun when you’re on airplane WiFi on the way to your connection /sarcasm) but seriously? They couldn’t just turn the picture on their end? Then - my vaccine card was approved on my pass but my husband’s vaccine card was denied for an invalid vaccine card. We got our vaccines from the SAME places at the SAME TIME. Just wish the review standards were even and reviewers actually took the time to read. I get that they’re rushed but idk maybe VeriFLY should hire more reviewers if it means people will make a lot of mistakes..Version: 1.1.9

Bad appIf I could give no stars I would… this thing isn’t working half of the time..Version: 1.3.4

Be prepared for problemsIn order to fly American Airlines international you have to use this app. You upload your COVID test results. However, in order to upload the document you have input different information from the form, but there is no checklist so you have to keep switching between your email and the app then you upload the document. The information is already there and they have to verify it so why is there so much redundancy? Then the app doesn’t talk with the American Airlines app. I was chatting with AA for an hour and they tried everything they could, but it’s VeriFLY. Then AA tried to give me a way contact VeriFLY and they couldn’t find it. You can only check in 24 hours early so you are in a time crunch and the the only way to communicate with them is email. It’s been several hours and no reply to my email. I’m unable to check early for my flight and forced to check in at the airport. I’m not sure why AA even uses this company they have thousands of reviews written and only have a 2.5 star rating..Version: 1.1.2

GlitchyThis app is so glitchy. I have had to enter my details twice after it kicked me out. There is no way to edit what you enter is make a mistake. Needs some major work to make it work smoothly..Version: 1.3.4

Very Poor AppThis is probably one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. In days of Apps being just another way of doing business this App is sadly lacking. It’d be faster and more user friendly using a pen and paper..Version: 1.3.2

What a load of rubbish 😡Why at 73 years of age I have to add apps, upload a mug shot, and upload Covid certificates that I already had printed in readiness for a lousy 4 day cruise, when I could have simply handed the printed copies at boarding!!! ALSO why couldn’t P & O have asked for all this a week ago???? instead of the day before sailing👎🏻.Version: 1.3.4

Technically inaccurate and a source of stressFor a trip from the UK to the US the app doesn’t accurately reflect CDC regulations; there’s no opportunity to state you’ve recovered from Covid in the past 3 months and are cleared to travel. This mean you simply can’t complete the process - the app demands a test result - and in turn can’t check in. Sloppy attention to technical detail. The app is also very poor at reading QR codes that work perfectly well on other scanning apps. This means a manual upload of results and the unnecessary stress of waiting to be cleared. Bearing in mind the US is allowing only one day for pre-departure tests and results tend to arrive late in the evening this is again poor work from the developers. A genuinely negative experience to kick off your trip. Hopefully VeriFLY will be a thing of the past before too long 🤞..Version: 1.1.9

Wont let you uploadWont let you upload documents (unclickable links) and keeps rejecting every form of vaccine certificate. If there’s alternatives to having to use this frustrating app take it, this is just a waste of time and probably a security risk for your personal data..Version: 1.3.3

Buggy and unintuitive.I could not check-in because of system issues on the app. There’s also no contact information and the help documentation has no explanation on what to do. To the developer: Redo the UX and map out the customer journey to prevent issues like this from happening again!.Version: 1.3.2

Doesn’t connect to British AirwaysDownloaded the app several weeks in advance, uploaded all documentation as requested and receive confirmation from the app that I can now check in. So far so good, this was actually fairly straightforward. However, 10 hours later and Verifly still haven’t passed this information onto British Airways, so we cannot check in online. We have tried 3 different traveller profiles but no success. This now means we need to travel to the airport 3 hours before our flight to check in there. As we cannot do online check in, we cannot select the seat we are allocated on the flight. Looking at Twitter, it seems like this lack of synchronisation between BA and Verifly is not an uncommon problem. It has caused so much stress and anxiety and wasted our time. Would not bother next time..Version: 1.3.0

Don't rely on this app for your tripTwice during the same trip the app lost all my trip data. Went through the steps to recover my account and nothing was saved. Almost left me stranded at the airport and missing my flight. Save yourself the trouble and just use printed information..Version: 1.1.4

Well intentionedCertainly the purpose behind this is well intentioned but at what is a stressful time anyway for travellers I think this added stress rather than relieving it. I was doing it for a group of 7 though. It would be much easier and less stressful to be able to add the various documents in any order rather than having to do them in the strict order they are laid out in. Also correcting some errors required me to delete the passenger and start again rather than editing the mistake. Maybe when there was a 3 day window to take tests before travelling to the US it was a bit less stressful but now it’s the day before then it adds to the pressure. Didn’t help that the app couldn’t/wouldn’t read the Randox test result sheet so all 7 had to be manually entered. I would have thought Randox would have been a major supplier of tests so should be covered by the QR scanner. When it all comes together it’s fine, and linked with the BA website seamlessly. Definitely deserve that G& T when we finally take off.Version: 1.1.9

Impenetrable mostlyJust had our 3rd booster ie. 5th vaccine!!!! And it won’t accept. Can’t read Canadian QR code. I’ve been doing this for an hour. Tell your programmers to get their act together!.Version: 1.3.4

0 Stars Failed to verify documents ,now blocked from checking in, of an AppThis Ba linked app that we have no choice but to use and download our PCR test certificates before travel in order to be able to check on online ! Has failed ! 3 hours waiting since our check in opened and VeriFLY still hasn’t verified our uploads and we are blocked by British airways from checking in unless VeriFLY allow us to. This is just the icing of stress for travelling in this already headache of pandemic stress. I won’t bore you with details but to say my covid PTSD levels are beyond immense due to this inadequate hoop that’s been added by British airways to cause their customers more anxiety than they already has pre travel ! Well done great job !.Version: 1.1.9

Shows the wrong flight time & pass did not work though completedI have a flight from the USA to UK in the evening and the app is showing my departure date and time incorrectly. For example I have a flight leaving on the 16th at 20:50 and arriving a day later in the UK at 3:15pm on the 17th UK time. Instead it shows my flight departing at 04:50 on the 16th and arriving on the 16th at 3:15pm. I get that 20:50 pst is 4:50 uk time but the date is incorrect. I depart on the 16th and arrive on the 17th. Surely my departure date and time should match my flight I am departing on. Also, I just traveled from the DR to USA and my verify pass said incomplete, even though every section said individually completed and that my negative Covid test was accepted. I did the exact same thing for my husband and the verifly pass worked. I know I entered the info correctly for us both, but my pass just said incomplete yet it was completed and the checklist ticked. This app seems to have more than one glitch. Very frustrating..Version: 1.1.9

RedundantWhy are we being asked to do this? Just traveled several times on similar trips in last few months and none of this was required. Far too complicated and unnecessary..Version: 1.3.4

UselessMy flight is through American Airlines, but it’s operated through Japan Airlines. I need to put American Airlines as the airline because otherwise they won’t send my information to American so I can check in, but my flight is from Narita to Los Angeles. American doesn’t fly from Narita to Los Angeles. So it doesn’t allow me to put those as departure/destination points and it won’t verify it if it doesn’t match the ticket information. Nor will it even allow me to change the flight number to what matches the ticket. So this has already been a massive waste of my time. Additionally, in response to all the bots leaving reviews. How could it possibly be considered “last minute” when the entire point of this is so we can upload our Covid tests, which need to be taken 3 days before departure? Meaning most people aren’t going to get them back sooner than 1-1.5 days before departure. This seems to be the time table people seem to be uploading them on, as soon as they get them. And the app itself says you should be fine if you upload them 4 HOURS before departure. So tell why people aren’t getting documents approved 24 hours after uploading them and getting the blame put on them for doing it “last minute”. Make it all make sense. Useless app..Version: 1.1.2

The most pointless ‘recommended’ appSummary - Waste of time and unnecessary stress. AVOID. Reason - Recommended by British Airways as ‘the’ app to us to collate all travel documents for an easier, secure and more efficient travel for departure from one country to another during COVID19. Firstly, the app doesn’t even work properly upon initial download - the search function doesn’t work either. The photo taking isn’t great tool and it provides false information or advice when recommending to what documents to collate. For example, my partner and I both downloaded over a day prior to departure. However she was asked for a completely different set of documents to me. At the airport, it was pointless and didn’t offer anything, even the check in assistant and passport control wanted actual documents even though the airport was a ‘Verifly airport’..Version: 1.1.2

Why do I need another app?I’m not sure if it’s verifly or if it’s all American airline but I still need to check in at the airport. You shouldn’t need 2 apps to book a flight. And it didn’t even work..Version: 1.4.0

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSEBA suggest that by downloading & completing this App it will make planning your journey easier, less stressful & with the possibility of fast track access. Don’t believe a word of it. After spending several hours trying to complete & submit my documents I came to the conclusion that the default setting of the App means that it was almost impossible to complete. It does not recognise that UK Gov advice for COVID testing, as prior to entering UK excludes the day of travel, is 72 hrs. It would not accept an official Danish COVID test, claiming it could not read the certificate, wrong personal details shown or not within the time scale. It was only when I took another test, within the 72 hours, including the day of travel, that it accepted it. Finally, the check list at the end insists on that you must have a paper copy of your Passenger Location Form. Not according to the UK Gov, digital copies are acceptable. No fast track system exists for completion of this App at the airport I travelled from. I don’t know where one exists. Don’t waste your time as you will only regret it..Version: 1.1.4

So far, a right pain!I spent a good 40 minutes setting it up, adding travel companion details, trying out the rather user unfriendly interface, only to find that when I went into it a few days later it demanded I set up an account, failing to recognise me or let me in to my details! The support team suggested I delete the App and start again, which makes me ask myself, do I really need it? The reason for installing it lies with BA who ask their passengers to use it claiming it speeds things up at the airport; my experience with it so far suggests the opposite is likely to be true. The alternative is to bring paper copies of documents with you (which BA actually recommends you do anyway and I can see why) in the form of your proof of vaccination, proof of negative test and the Attestation form, essentially three bits of paper which seems a lot simpler to provide compared to using this rusty, clunky App!.Version: 1.1.11

Agents verifying do not understand time zones on test result and keep rejectingVeriFLY is extremely frustrating. Their agents do not understand how to interpret time zone notation. My family’s tests were done by EMed Labs using Abbott BinaxNOW COVID tests as recommended by carnival. The tests were done at 9pm local time but since the test result form shows date and time in universal time coordinated (UTC), the printed date showing it is UTC is the next date and 6 hours later. Even with submitting a note converting ITC to my Local time zone (central time) they kept rejecting 2 or our 4 test results (though another 2 listing date and time in local time were accepted). Bizarre. Rejection reasons are not helpful and no customer support phone number. I emailed support and wa stood to resubmit, and the last two tests were again rejected within 2 minutes even though support emailed me back after looking at the results being rejected and instructed me to resubmit. The employees verifying the information in test results need to be trained on time zones..Version: 1.3.2

Worst app ever!!!We used this last timer rebelled and it was horrible. This time was worse. I’ve done everything I can. The documents aren’t good enough but they’re screenshots from Medicare and NSW services. Additionally, you’d expect an app of this tour to keep data from trips before. That would take a lot of time and suffering out of filling it out. If you go back, you lose all the data you entered. I don’t know how many times I had to go in and out of screens. I’m having a nervous breakdown trying to do this. Is anyone taking note of your issues and improving the app…? Don’t look like it. Also, last time at the cruise terminal many people were having to show manual documents as they couldn’t use the app either. Horrible!.Version: 1.3.4

FAILED. Undoubtedly was not tested properly. The email comes is all full of bluster. Download the app and make your journey through the airports seamless. LOL. I jumped through numerous hoops with raising profiles, uploading passenger locator forms, COVID test results, reference numbers of COVID tests booked and a few other pieces of info demanded by this awful idea. They you are told ‘Yay, you’re all done’. It gleefully tells you that you’re travel ready and you may check-in online. Except it doesn’t work. Try, try and try again. Useless. Get to the airport and hundreds of travellers clearly either failed or didn’t bother and our flight was delayed 3.5 hours while questionably competent BA staff tried to deal with the mountains of paperwork that is necessary these days just to take a dump never mind fly at your will. So, all in all, the freedom stealing ar$€wipes behind all this cr@p we have to endure have failed us - and it’ll only get worse..Version: 1.1.9

Avoid at all costsWill be my last time using American Airlines just because they made me use this useless outdated and unnecessary app (and I’m fully vaccinated for the record)..Version: 1.3.4
