But this only shows the Roku channel. I would prefer to check on this app and not have to go through a 4 or 5 step process to use the search on the hardware. BIG FAN of Roku. Have one on every TV. ✓ Not ready for prime time.The Roku device on my TV works great, but this app not so much. As others have said, the iPad home page needs a landscape mode. Also the home page doesn’t even fill half the screen, and that’s with an iPad mini. At least the actual videos are full screen landscape mode. My second complaint is not being able to manage subscriptions and other account settings from the app, instead of having to log in to a separate account page. ✓ Crashes ConstantlyWorst streaming app I've ever used in several ways: - Search term has to be the EXACT title, (mispell one letter and get 0 results). - Search term can only be the title. No actors, genres, etc. - Horrible suggestion algorithm. - Crashes constantly: During ads, during movie/show, even while simply browsing titles. I've used Roku devices for awhile, this is the first time I've tried the app on my iPhone and I'm in awe at how primitive it is compared to my usual Netflix. ✓ Ads volumeI never expected much by way of content on this app, and no one else should either, and that’s not actually a problem. The content that’s there is a lot better than what they had before so it is an improvement. Even though I will never like ads, I don’t find them unreasonable on this app. So what’s the problem? The volume of the ads compared to the volume of the shows and films. It’s as though every show/film is at 25% volume and the ads are at 75% volume. I constantly have to turn up the volume of a show because it sounds like they’re whispering but then have to turn down or mute because the ads are screaming at me.
