Bloons Pop! for Negative User Reviews

Good, but….The game itself is quite good and designed well in theory; but there are many bugs needing fixing. The game crashes…a lot. This mostly happens when initiating a video to watch for rewards, but has also happened mid level. This becomes frustrating as it can often require the ‘on fire’ bonus to just complete a level. Great potential but needs some polish..Version: 1.3

Just the original Bloons game but worse. It gives you 20-30 second unskippable adverts, has a currency which you pretty much have to pay for to advance any further and the game is repetitive and boring. There is also barely anything to do and the levels are too easy with not much differentiation. It needs a couple of different modes to be interesting and enticing. Maybe you could play classic Bloons on the app too? Bloons 2? Bloons Spring? Anything really..Version: 1.3

Cash GrabAt first I really enjoyed it, but as it went on it got super difficult, like it was ridiculously hard to progress, in one level it was full of camo zebra regrows and all I kept getting were monkeys that either couldn’t see the camo bloons or monkeys that didn’t affect the zebra bloons. This was like level 65 and I had saved up all my power up bloons and was on fire since the beginning only for me to use them all up on this level and not pass it. It’s ridiculous how much you have to depend on micro transactions to get past the higher levels. Idk this game feels like a cash grab from Ninjakiwi. I’m a huge fan of them and I’d rather pay $10 for a game that I can enjoy and get challenged knowing that I have to improve my skill instead if relying on micro transactions. Feeling a bit disappointed tbh.Version: 1.3

Ads - remove with purchase?Do ads get removed if I make a purchase? Having an ad automatically pop up after every single level I play is ruining an otherwise fun game for me..Version: 1.3

AdsI get an ad after every level regardless if I’ve pressed on get extra rewards. Please don’t turn into every other bad mobile game by having ads like this. Don’t force ads onto people.Version: 1.2

Mediocre and very much a mobile gamePlaythrough: Played through level 345, got all the entries in the book thing, completed to a point roughly halfway through whatever the ocean zone is after the bloonstone beach. I gave this a chance as a longtime bloons fan, and it does not hold up well. The original bloons had better gameplay than this... not even thinking about Bloons TD. The actual puzzle game that the original bloons was had more to it than this. This game does not deserve to be called a "puzzle game." To be fair, this game is alright if you just want to kill time and don't care about ads. It's very playable at a casual level, or "intense casual" if you have time to grind. Additionally, there's a minimal amount of multiplayer competition, where each day there is some goal to try and compete for like popping certain bloons types or merging towers. Of course, all of the challenge is completely based on randomness and grinding, because it is a mobile game designed to encourage ads. This gets two stars because the ads are not completely unbearable like in some games. To end off this review with a relatively pointless observation, this game has a merge mechanic. Why are these so common in monile games...?.Version: 1.3

“PuZzLe”Let’s make a puzzle game 100% reliant on RNG, force players to watch ads for more attempts, have nothing worth unlocking to unlock, no goals, no sense of progression, no skill aspect nothing new, have the most powerful monkey in every other game be the SECOND WEAKEST MONKEY IN THE GAME. This game is basically a slots game for kids..Version: 1.3

ImpossibleThe game was so fun until level 40. The win to lose ratio is terrible it’s rather too easy or too hard and it’s really hard cause my rng I can’t get any good starters so it’s impossible to play it plus I always watch a add to see if I can do it but more moves doesn’t work please fix it and maybe add a progression tree to make your characters better and it would help a lot instead of watching adds and using your monkey money. It’s a great fun and addicting game but it’s to hard to enjoy it when I can’t play it.Version: 1.3

Good but…This is a lot more well thought-out than I initially thought. I’d pay for a game like this. But the ad model gets frustrating. A few examples: Eventually, you will reach levels that you can’t beat unless you use power-ups or play ads. If you get far enough, you get a generous flow of power-ups, but not generous enough to use on every level. So you’ll need to play ads. That’s bad enough. There should really always be a way to buy an ad-free experience. Separately, as with many iOS apps, depending on hardware and the random history of what you’ve done on your device since last restart, any multitasking has the potential to crash your game. There shouldn’t be severe consequences for this in a casual mobile game, and that’s true of most other games by this publisher. But here, it means you will lose your streak bonuses, which are more or less necessary to maintain. Now put these two problems together. Some rotated ads will by default open the app store. There is no way back except to multitask back to the game. And then it’s crashed. Too frustrating to continue, even though I’ve paid for some upgrades..Version: 1.2

Fun at firstThis game is very fun but as you go on more and more annoying or bad features are introduced. One of those is the lives feature, this makes it very annoying to play as if you lose five lives you can’t play for the next hour. This makes the game boring most of the time as you cant play. Another thing I hate is the amount of reliance on RNG after level 40. There are too many Bloons that need specific monkeys to pop them (e.g. black, white, zebra, led, purple). This makes you have to hope you get the correct monkeys to be able to pop the bloons, and if you don’t it’s an instant lose because of bad RNG. This plus the lives feature means every few hours you will go on, lose all five lives from bad RNG, and leave for another few hours, cycle repeats until you get lucky. This makes it so tedious and boring. The Bloons that have specific conditions to pop only work when you can choose your monkeys as it adds strategy to using the right towers, but it just doesn’t help when you get random monkeys. Please remove either the lives system or the Bloons with specific conditions. The only acceptable Bloons with conditions that won’t affect the gameplay so drastically would be the white, black and zebra. Otherwise the game is pretty fun. I hope you take this into consideration..Version: 1.2

Not the best from NinjaKiwiThis game seems very fun and engaging at first, until the progression becomes very slow and tedious, making you watch many ads just to have a chance at beating a level. The ramp up in difficulty is huge from the game becoming laughably easy at first and then suddenly only getting halfway through a level with the moves given to you. Once all the new characters are unlocked, the game just kind of stops becoming fun and getting the bloon gems take a long time to get. One way to fix this issue is to update the levels, they can be easy in the beginning, but certainly increase the number of turns you get in later levels to keep the game somewhat entertaining and rewarding. Secondly, the game doesn’t have much to it, I would try to find a way to create a sort of “deck” with the monkeys you have so you can make a well balanced deck that suits you. Also adding some sort of upgrades for the monkeys would help make the game more enjoyable to play because if you lose a level, you could upgrade a monkey that you need. Some monkeys are also way more overpowered than others, getting one dart monkey to kill 100 bloons doesn’t do too much. Great game and new take on the franchise but certainly not one of Ninja Kiwi’s best (at the moment)..Version: 1.1

Dude regens are so annoyingThe regens are a little over powered since you can hit one regen and to many come back, if you find a good alternative for this broken mechanic much appreciated.Version: 4.2

Fun game, you can tell it's really develoment.Update: level 86. Oh, there are thousands of levels lol. The difficulty curve has evened off. I have used a power up yet but I have paid in game monkey money to get the steak again. You lose the steak if you don't finish a game so never stark a game and then close the app. This limits the "two minutes here, two minutes there " playing ability unless they'd a continue I missed somewhere. They need a research option to power up the monkeys, especially the base monkeys. Upgrading is the heart and soul of bloons, if they don't add this feature I can see myself losing interest very soon. The streak kills the candy crush pickupability factor, research would balance that and improve on the formula. Previous review :Played thru without a loss until level 40, more I'm stuck there and there's really nothing else to do but keep playing until I pass the level. They really need side missions and random mission generator instead of just having the main progression.. Also no way to play old levels to get stuff. They really need to add monkey leveling like in TD6.Version: 2.2

No strategy, too greedy. Hopefully will be improvedReached level 60 and got bored. There's no actual strategy, because monkeys are randomly selected. Prices are expensive for crappy power ups, and I hate those 7 day/30 day "subscriptions". Are you guys that desperate for money? Just give me a permanent purchase, please. While I didn't have to purchase anything to get to level 60, I had to watch a lot of ads. Sometimes you get lucky with a powerful hero, sometimes you get a dart monkey with his worthless 3 darts. Sniper is also pretty useless. Churchill is the only hero who can clear the entire board, but he appears randomly. Gwendolin is also decent. But she's like the rest of the heroes who pop a few and disappear. The higher the level, the shorter time they stay on the board, yet Churchill will float all the way to the bottom (only if you do it in a tight side-to-side motion to make him bounce off the sides). Regrow bloons are just mean because they increase your counter and expand up into your red zone as you pop them. You can't look at the encyclopedia during a match, so they expect you to memorize everything? Would be better if we could choose from all of the monkeys, rather than 3 random ones..Version: 1.2

Wholesome but annoyingThe game itself is really enjoyable with some fun mechanics, but forced ads that you can’t even skip after every level has removed any enjoyment you can get out of the game..Version: 1.3

Not Worth Investing InI got this game after a friend had shown me about it. I’ve played other BTD games and thought this one might be worth investing time and energy into. So I tried it, got to about level 40 and started noticing some things that have made the game nearly unplayable or at least not enjoyable. As previous reviews have mentioned, there is not strategy to the game. Monkeys are randomly selected and depending on the load out, it could really make or break a match which is a hassle when all the best power ups are via your hot streak which sadly, resets and makes the game harder to progress in. It’s still satisfying watching the balloons get popped and it’s still satisfying seeing all the different monkey abilities but all the satisfaction is torn away the moment an ad appears. Which is all. The. Time. I’ve had the game for about a week and in my personal experience, I’ve had an ad play after every single round. It really takes away from the game as some of these ads can be pretty lengthy. Unfortunately I’m going to have to knock this down to a 2/5 simply because of the excess amount of ads and no way around it (I can’t even do the little cheat by turning of all connections on my phone because it’ll try to load an ad but I’ll only be met with a blank, black screen)..Version: 1.3

Ads ruins everythingThey lied. Even you purchased to remove ads. They still exist. Whenever you are out of shots or wanna double the reward, you still need to watch the ads. Also the whole game is full of RNG, you can shooed the right type of the monkey to shoot however you can’t predict the route of it. It just bounces randomly….Version: 7.1

Make compatable with iOS12I’ve wanted to play this game when it came out, but I couldn’t because it requires ios13 yet they released Bloons td 2 and that doesn’t require iOS13 despite the fact it’s new. Please make bloons pop compatable with iOS 12. :) (please) (And it’s been a year since the game came out so it’s been a year of not being able to play it).Version: 4.2

Don’t botherSadly plagued with adverts and overpriced micro transactions which ruin a fun game. Had this have been a one-off purchase it probably would have been a 5 star game but Ninja Kiwi decided to mess it up, having to wait 4 hours for a canister to collect the gems or I can’t improve the town, this very early on ruined the experience and hence the 1 star review, those giving it 5 stars must love paying more for this than a full priced AAA console game every 3 months, no thanks. Ninja Kiwi you are better than this..Version: 1.1

AdsCant skip the 30 second ads after each round, make the game unplayable, maybe as well be giving me rewards for all the ads I watch. Ridiculous. Take my advice it’s so much quicker to close the app and open it again than sit through all the ads it gives you.Version: 1.3

Decent game ruined by adsThis game has potential but between every level 30-60 second ads are shown. This completely ruins the experience, at least let me go through a few, or have the ads be a bit shorter. I for one will not continue playing..Version: 1.3

Forced ads ruin the experienceThe game is great to kill time and have some fun, however there are forced ads after levels which can be annoying and frustrating. At the end of each level it gives you an option to watch an ad for extra rewards, yet if you don’t select that option you will still have to watch an ad..Version: 1.2

Forced to watch Ads after every level. After you complete the tutorial you will be watching a Ad after every level or you will be paying silly money to play a fairly basic game. Ruined..Version: 1.3

I’m disappointedWhy do we get ads every second on the app it’s supposed to be fun not boring I’m surprised this hasn’t gotten a proper review I’m disappointed kiwi because this is better then super monkey 2 that doesn’t have ads every second but this does I hate being delayed and no there’s no ad disable button.Version: 2.2

No challengeObviously another brain dead generic game. But it’s pretty much impossible to lose any levels which makes it for an extremely boring game with zero satisfaction..Version: 7.1

Needs a few touch ups!First I just want to start off by saying overall this game is a lot of fun. It does have its issues though early on. I’m playing on an iPhone 12 Pro Max and this game absolutely drains battery life. Also there are a few bugs where you will lose your on fire status out of no where which is a big deal. Without the on fire status good luck beating levels. And even with with the on fire status your constantly watching ads to get 3 more shots so you don’t lose with it. This is the most ads ive ever watched for a ninja kiwi game but they still don’t seem overwhelming. Pro tip to always empty out the bloon containers by watching ads before playing when they are full as you waste the bloontonium. Great game and can’t wait to see where this games goes Editing review as this game has been out for over a month and only had enough content for 2 weeks. Doesn’t seem like Ninja Kiwi is going to keep up with this game as they never update it. Sad to see as it was such a fun game. Have over 300 red Bloons and nothing to spend it on.Version: 1.3

I expected better from NKNinja Kiwi made one of my favorite game series, bloons td. I had high hopes for this game but… it was very disappointing. There is nothing new to see or do. Here is how the game goes: step 1: enter level step 2: watch ads to beat the unbeatable levels step 3: repeat until enough monkey money/“red stuff” until you can buy new building step 4: repeat until finished with game. This honestly would be fine if it was actually satisfying or meaningful getting a building. It’s not satisfying likely because the building or village you built signifies you just watching ads to win. The merge feature, the monkeys/bloons combo, and some others I can’t think of off the top of my head are the only reasons this isn’t 1 star. Thank you for reading, and have a nice day!.Version: 1.3

Too Many AdsI just installed the game and loved it. However the second day playing the ads appear and they’re way too often. Each game you play takes about 30 seconds and the ads are after every game and also 30 seconds. I’m quitting this for good until they fix this..Version: 1.3

Forced “Optional ads”The game is fun, but there a quite a few flaws with it. -Forced “Optional Ads” The game has optional ads which is fine, you watch a 30 second ad for an extra life, or a power up, typical for a free to play game. But I am at round 60, and the “optional ads” are happening on their own. You are given two options after you beat a level, “Watch an ad for 1.5X rewards” and “Continue”. I always hit Continue, but now the game forces an ad, and on top of forcing the ad, it does not give the extra rewards. Its a smack in the face to the user, then spitting on them. *Lack of balancing* -It is a mobile game, meant to make money, so I understand having really difficult levels. The issue is you can never strategize to beat the difficult level, because your team is random. Imagine being stuck on a level with lead balloons, and you never get an explosive character, or only getting one after having to waste characters who cannot damage the balloons. -There are some other gripes i have about the way the levels play, such as the “extra shot” characters are pushed on the top of your character stack, preventing your stack from moving after a shot. This can prevent you from merging 2 characters. It basically punishes you for trying to strategize. In the end, I think there is a decent base for a game here, gameplay-wise, there are some things that should be rethought, and some additions would be nice, but the biggest issue with this game is the forced “Optional ads”.Version: 1.3

Game can only be beaten by watching addsThis game was great and very addicting at first but as soon as you progress to the harder levels (40+) you will instantly realize that the levels are basically impossible to beat without using power ups and watching ads to get more shots. The game reels the player in with normal gameplay by presenting levels that are fairly easy to pass. Once players get hooked and keep playing, the game ramps up the difficulty to force players to either spend their real money or watch tons of 30 second ads. As an example, level 47 requires you to pop 827 balloons with 8 shots... without extra shots or a bunch of power ups it’s impossible to beat. Many other levels are like this and I’m not sure why ninja kiwi thought it was a good idea to force their players to rely on ads to progress..Version: 1.1

NotesHey there so your game got recommended by my friend I’m trying to download but I can’t cause of 13 iOS >:(.Version: 1.2

Forced Ads!This game would get 5 stars if it wasnt for the forced ads at the end of every level. There is already enough optional ad play options you dont need to ruin the gameplay with forced advertising..Version: 1.3

Serious Ad ProblemIf you’re gonna monetize with ads, please make them work properly. Several ads either soft lock or crash the app, losing you the level if you were watching for extra shots. Also, ads show up at the end when you choose not to increase your rewards by 1.5x, so you might as well choose to increase your rewards anyway. Not to mention the ads being 40 or even 50 seconds, then automatically bringing you to the app store (I know ninja kiwi doesn’t make the ads, but still). The gameplay is at least entertaining and fun, for the most part. 2/5 Ads are horrible, please fix them and put them where they are supposed to be. At least the gameplay is somewhat good..Version: 1.3

Down to 2 stars for excessive adverts.Adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts adverts Did I mention the adverts? I totally appreciate the game is free in principle to play, and therefore adverts are a necessary evil to fund its development and upkeep. However, the adverts after the last updates have gone from being a minor frustration to being overly intrusive. The game now feels like a shallow cash grab and not much else. The updates are very thin on the ground, which also suggests the income from the ads is the main priority for this game. It’s a pity as I’m up to level 3,200 and something. The lack of aforementioned updates means I’m getting a bit bored with it now. Is this game a result of Ninja Kiwi’s new owners demanding higher profits from their products?.Version: 2.2

Addicting but terrible game.It is making me watch unskipable ads after every level, Making me play for an hour to get enough liquid stuff to fill up to get gems, then it take 4 hours to get 8 genes, and you need about 50 gems per town. I have spent nearly none of the “Monkey Money” and I still don’t have enough of it to by the second tube for the gems, so whenever I beat a level now, I lose all that liquid stuff. As well as you can only play this game with a charger, as I have a decent phone, and it killed 5% of my battery in 2 minutes, and I wasn’t even in the puzzles part yet. I love the Bloons Series, but this is just making you watch tons of ads or spend a ton off money on the games to do much. I am still playing the Bloon games that I already spent my money on, but you might have lost out on a customer..Version: 1.3

Ads after every levelAfter 300 levels the game forces you to watch an ad after you finish a level. No double xp or money, just an ad after every. Damn. Level..Version: 1.3

Generic Cash Grab - I’m disappointedI’m a big fan of Ninja Kiwi’s past tower defense games. BTD 5 & 6 were a blast to play and battles was fun. I never tried the other games by Ninja Kiwi, so I decided to try this new game. Quite frankly, I’m disappointed. Every feature in this game oozes generic mobile cash grab. From the lives, the extra bonuses, the levels and the powers. And that’s not even the end. The gameplay is okay at best. When winning or losing is dependent on the random towers you get, It’s easy to lose for no reason at all. After you unlock the final hero (lvl 30) there’s no more progression at all other than powers that are given out occasionally. This leads players to believe the only way to beat the levels are with powers and - what a coincidence - you can buy them for real money. TL;DR: Don’t buy this game - It is built around stealing your money, and the mechanics are based purely on luck and not fun past 30..Version: 1.2

Ok game but livesThe game was fun until I realised you can only fail a certain amount of times before they say “watch an ad to get more lives” so you can actually play the level you’re on..Version: 1.2

AdddddsGreat gameplay but commits the cardinal sin of F2P: plays unskippable 30 second ads after most levels with sound that plays through Silent Mode..Version: 1.2

Overall averageGame is fun for a while but eventually the levels get repetitive and the only difficulty is that you wont have enough monkeys to clear the level. Has too many ads for whatever reason you can start a level and get an ad, you can end a level and get an ad, and in order to extend your life you have to watch more ads, personally i dont mind the ads to extend the life but putting ads the second you try to play one level is a bit much, and for whatever reason the ads never correctly play and i lose my streak bonus which is a tad annoying. Overall average.Version: 4.2

Pretty good, need more levelsIt’s a fun game, just enough difficulty to keep it interesting. The odd random ad sometimes but mostly a choice to watch ads for more moves. Almost done the current levels though, need some more please..Version: 1.3

EhY’all did something and now it consistently crashes, started off strong but ultimately feels like a cash grab with ads forced in.Version: 1.3

Too many adsFun at first but after lvl 20 you get slammed with ads every lvl. Deleting the game..Version: 2.1

AddsMe and my freinds loved this game and the entire Bloons series then the adds attacked they come after literally every level.Version: 1.2

MehThe game itself is great, however the ads totally ruin the experience. When I first got the game, I was confused by the reviews talking about the ads as I never received any. However, when I completed the ‘monkey town hall’ (tutorial) area and got to the ‘park path’ is when I started receiving a non-skippable ad every time I completed a level. Currently, what I do is just turn off my wifi while I play the game..Version: 1.3

Honestly really goodIt was good for the first like 2 hours, then the ads starting to pop up. Ninja kiwi do better, that’s the reason people stop playing.Version: 6.1

Starts off fun then gets super boringThe game starts fun but when you watch harder levels they give you so less shots you have to use power up or watch ads to get more shots. Some stages are so hard and you get so less shots it makes you forced to watch an ad or pay monkey money to get more shots. The hero’s help you but once you get all the hero, monkey, and balloon discovered, it gets boring and you have to pass more stages to get powers discovered with the same monkeys and hero’s over and over. I like how they add merge into the game when you get two of the same monkeys in your inventory(in-game)..Version: 1.3

Typical unbalanced nonsenseI got this game recently and not even a few days in I have already encountered huge walls to climb over. At the beginning of the game, you only have a few types of shots. This makes it feel like you are more in control of your actions. As soon as you unlock all of them by getting to level 25 or so, the random factor takes over the game tenfold. Some balloons have effects where the multiple when popped, some say that damage from specifics shots won’t do anything, and some say that the balloons will become invisible and shots will go through them. Now you get a level where you have three full rows of balloons with each of those types all in one. The game tells you to use ice and explosive damage for the multiplying balloons, but also that you can’t use ice or explosive damage on that balloon. So you are stuck hoping to get lucky with the random shots the game decides to give you. You also have to grind bloonstones to progress the story of the game, but to get then you have to ether encounter something new or play a huge amount of time just to wait a 4hr timer. That also only give you about 8 stones when you need around 50-60 just for the second part of the story. I’d recommend playing the game until you hit level 50 or so. It’ll just be an annoyance past that..Version: 1.3

ProblemHate the adds, money system, amount of gems you get and the monkey design. Overall great game, but these little things ruin it....Version: 1.2

AdsHaving ads for the in game bonuses are acceptable but to then force us to watch ads anyway even if we choose not to is horrible. Would love the game otherwise..Version: 1.3

AdsWas fun for a lil while but now they added random ads so dont bother.Version: 1.3

Great concept, decent execution, awful balance.Let’s get one thing straight: this game is fun. For a little while. Then you quickly reach “unfair” territory, where you either have to watch an ad or you’ll lose. So many of the monkeys are underpowered, notably the Ninja and Bomb Shooter, and so many Bloon types, such as Camo Bloons, are irritating and poorly balanced. Most of the Bloon types in this game worked in BTD6 because you had access to so many more options. In this game, what do you have? Only 3 RANDOMLY SELECTED cards. Sure, you get to see two cards ahead in your deck, but what if you’re faced with countless Zebra Bloons and only have explosive-based monkeys and/or an Ice Monkey? It’s awful. Also, heroes. Great idea, and it works decently well. But Obyn needs a buff. Every other hero works pretty well, but Obyn’s too weak to really be of use in later levels. My recommended changes: Add a system that allows you to upgrade your monkeys. Reduce the time that Camo Bloons are camouflaged. Make the Ninja’s attack area bigger and give it one more attack per use. Make the Bomb Shooter destroy more layers on hit and make the explosion radius bigger. Add a way to switch monkeys from your “next monkeys” bit into your hand, maybe on e per turn. Overall, a decent start, but I expected better of NK at launch. Here’s hoping that rebalancing occurs soon..Version: 1.3

Made it to around level 90Played it happily for a few days then spent a week on a level and wasn’t allowed to pass the level, it didn’t matter what I did I was not allowed to leave the level. I got so angry I deleted the game..Version: 1.3

Great game, way too many advertsReally satisfying game to play but with this new update, you get an advert after every level which makes you want to go off it..Version: 2.0

A prototypeIt could be better if more elements from TD were added and the upgrade mechanism should be there as a key feature.Version: 7.1

ArghALWAYS crashing during ads and constantly losing bonuses because of it. Please fix. Otherwise great game..Version: 1.3

Fun until..The whole first level was fun and relatively easy but once you get to about half way through level 2 the game gets very hard and makes you use all your abilities just to complete each level. Even when you watch the ads to get extra shots, the levels still can hardly be beaten..Version: 1.3

Extreme levels a bit too extreme...Now I enjoy challenging and difficult games however some of the extreme levels feel UNFAIR as opposed to challenging and believe me there is a clear difference between those two words. I don’t think extreme levels should have an RNG element at all. Every shot has got to be fixed in order to learn and improve but instead, since every shot is random you are pretty much FORCED to watch an ad maybe once maybe twice. The worst feeling is watching two 40 second ads just to lose and retry again knowing even with an additional 6 shots I still couldn’t make it. Meaning the next time around I’m going to have to watch 2 more ads again. I made it to 100+ levels and that feeling of knowing I have to watch ads or lose is unbelievably ~~unfair~~ NOT challenging.Version: 1.3

Decent, but way to many ads (more then usual)Is a alright game but EVERY, SINGLE, LEVEL i get a 20 second non skip ad, and it’s not even a optional ad for a reward.Version: 6.1

Fun for a day, then monotonous. That’s really all there is to say about this game, I had fun unlocking the monkeys and discovering new stuff, but now, every level is relatively the same, the difficulty of level 100 is the same as 1000, and the pointless building doesn’t help either. I’m done with the “campaign” and it’s just grind work, there’s no thinking involved, just get like 60+ bloontoniom crystals per area, and move on. Endless grinding for no reason. Suggestion; add more strategy. You have a good concept in the line of monkeys, but it being random isn’t great, maybe go for a deck building type gameplay, and definitely add an actual reason to build in the areas, instead of just “for the grind”.Version: 1.3

Fun gameplay, but too buggyThe game is pretty fun, but the interface is buggy. It often freezes during the game, when watching ads, or before we can access it. Would deserve 5 stars if those issues were fixed..Version: 1.3

No reason to playBoomerang monkey never shows up, must be a bug Run out of lives too easily, and force you to watch ads to keep playing.Version: 1.1

Lvl 42 hard as bullWhy is lvl 42 impossible without boost?.Version: 1.2

Too many ads now.As of Sept. 1st, 2021. The latest update has introduced ads to the game BEFORE each level starts (when you hit the play button) now. This is the line for me where I say it was fun while it lasted. It was already teetering when there were ads to get the multiplier post-level, an ad to get a roll to the daily pop, an ad to get a daily crap roll from the store, and an ad (twice) to get some extra monkeys (barring paying the $250 monkey bucks) during a level; some levels of which really have arbitrary difficulty. Had this game since it launched, and made it to Wave 311 before this latest update. Was working on completing the final available area in the list (Monklantis), too. But no more, there were a lot of ads before, but now it’s simply too many. It’s too ludicrous and far too push-heavy to getting you to buy the recurring “gold pass”. I’m disappointed, NinjaKiwi..Version: 2.1

Way too reliant on the on fire bonusThe game seems initially is very fun and addicting until you lose on a difficult level and lose your on fire bonuses. Some levels feel borderline impossible without them because of how much of a difference they make. And since the only way to get the bonuses back is to beat a few levels and you can’t go back to previous levels, it is very easy to get stuck. Of course you could just use power ups, but is is unlikely you will have very many, if any, because of how likely it is that you spent it all on buildings and such. At this point your only option is to buy something with real money or to watch a bunch of ads..Version: 1.1

Was having fun til level 40Levels were always manageable without using power ups or watching ads for extra shots. Never lost a heart before level 40. Proceeded to lose over and over as I refuse to watch ads or pay to win with overpriced power ups. Because I lost a heart, I also lost my “on fire” winning streak bonuses, making the following attempts even more impossible. Sorry but app deleted, not interested in watching ads to proceed with your game..Version: 1.1

A Disservice to the OriginalSo, apparently, this was supposed to be based off of the original Bloons games. Well I’ll tell you what it actually is. It takes the original games and throws them in the dumpster. This is a nightmare of a game, and everything I didn’t want Ninja Kiwi to do. 1) Ads Ads Ads You are bombarded with ads every level. If you don’t choose to watch ads for rewards, you’re forced to watch them after every level. It’s unplayable after some time, and seriously detracts from the experience, if there was any to begin with. 2) Boring and Repetitive Gameplay I’ll admit that the first 60-70 levels were (mostly) enjoyable, but it quickly becomes the same thing. Over and over and over and over. You’ve unlocked absolutely everything the game has to over by level 70, which is obviously a massive problem in replayability. So if you spent money to remove the ads, then you’d be greatly disappointed to find out that the game quickly becomes “watch paint dry.” 3) Lack of Updates There’s no updates anywhere in sight. And the issue is that the game desperately needs attention to become anything. RECOMMENDATIONS: Ninja Kiwi has actually made some good free mobile games. I can recommend pretty much all of them over this dumpster fire, but especially Bloons Supermonkey 2 and Bloons Monkey City..Version: 1.3

WhyGarbage this game was so fun but they ruined it with a updat it’s glitchy the hit boxes are bigger it lags there more paid content you ruined your game I don’t even care I lost my progress.Version: 6.1

The ads ruin itAmazing game, but the forced ads completely ruin it.Version: 1.3

Bloons sells out to adsAs a long time Bloons TD fan I was excited to try this. The game is fun enough and carries over some of the tower mechanics into this plinko style game. I always appreciated in Bloon TD games that you could buy it and it was a fulsome game with new content but no ads after that. The problem here is while there aren’t ads initially, and you can watch ads for bonuses (standard) at some point when you get up in the levels (I’ve played over 100) you start getting pushed ads at the end of rounds which just ruins the whole game (you normally have the option to watch an ad to double rewards, but at some point you get them regardless). Additionally the game has a mechanic where if you win multiple round you get “fire” rewards which allow you to start with additional items, in the later rounds you won’t stand a chance without there… but you can also watch ads during a round to get more turns so it becomes almost impossible to lose a round but you are also often watching ads for an extra shot because losing those bonuses would just screw you so it’s somewhat risk less. Besides those elements it’s a well made game and the mechanics are fun lol..Version: 1.1

Good conceptThe gameplay was fun, but it was a let down in a few areas. The later levels require insane luck with shots and heroes or you could watch ads to get power-ups. If you choose to retry to get good luck, you're going to drain your lives. Once you run out of lives, you're either forced to stop playing the game entirely or watch ads. Which means once you get to the later levels, you almost have to watch ads to progress. On top of that, you have "optional" extra rewards you can get if you watch an ad. But most of the time, even if you don't select that, an ad plays anyway. This game also crashes and freezes way more frequently than any other mobile game. Sometimes it will even crash/freeze while playing an ad. If it crashes during a level, you cannot continue where you left off and the life you spent is gone. It's a cool concept, but falls victim to every other terrible mobile game. The first few levels are fun, but definitely not worth playing after that..Version: 1.3

Can’t playI try to play it but it keeps making me do level 1 over and over again..Version: 4.2

Wizard monkey suxHe’s sux.Version: 7.0

It’s okayThe game is a good time waster but it gets boring really fast. I like that you only lose life if you don’t beat the level, rather than using a life per game. I hope they don’t change this because I could easily spend an hour playing, as long as I don’t lose all my life. There used to be events to play if I ran out of life but now those are locked behind a Ninjakiwi account. There’s also an issue with ads and lags, I don’t mind ads because this is a free to play game, but their ads will freeze and crash the app, or it will freeze and play twice or even three times! It’s honestly ridiculous. Also, if it does crash the app, the game counts it as a lost life, so you lose your on fire streaks and your life. Sometimes the game will lag and darts will disappear so you can’t tell where they are going. Monkeys will also get stuck on a certain type, so I don’t know which monkey I’m using. For example,if I used a super monkey, visually it will show as a super monkey for the rest of the game but the powers are that of a ninja monkey. It’s frustrating and I couldn’t find a place to report these issues on the game itself. I hope they come up with a patch these issues in the future..Version: 6.1

Adverts ruined the whole experienceForcing users to watch an advert before each game makes the whole experience a drag - what a horrible new update. Deleted the app.Version: 2.2

ProgressionAfter level 40 some levels become impossible if you don’t get good rng. You might have to use a ability balloon to try and make it through. But if you run out of those you can watch a ad for three extra shots which is quite boring. If you’re deck is bad you have a option to watch a video for better monkeys but yet again this makes the game quite boring. I feel like there’s a lot of missed potential in this game. Like it would have been nice if we had a skill tree. And on that skill tree for example you could get a reroll on you’re monkeys if there bad or maybe better stats for you’re monkey or new abilities they can use. The way you get bloontonium or whatever it’s called is quite annoying to have to get. Filling up that container with the balloon rubber feel’s quite long since a level goes for awhile. Of course though you can speed this up by watching ads. And after you’ve filled up the container you have to wait 4 hours for it to finish making the bloontonium. Of course though you can spend monkey money to speed it up but it’s quite expensive. I’m sick of company’s copying clash Royale with the time for things to be ready. And as I play further in to this game I can see the life’s being a problem..Version: 1.2

It’s okay, nothing groundbreaking and of course, forced adsThis game is a good addition to the ‘bloons’ family of games. The gameplay is a little lacklustre however, and I found myself after just a few levels forced to wait for the items I needed, unless I wanted to fork out actual money. Then after about an hour of play, ads are forced onto you after every completed level and most of those crash the game altogether..Version: 1.1

Download errorI’ve reinstalled multiple time and troubleshooted thoroughly but my game won’t initialise and only get halfway through the game update install when just infinite loads. As.Version: 1.1
