✓ P2W againJust another game where you have to pay to win to even get ahead in the story. Extremely low pull rates for Gacha meaning it is only suitable if you are willing to pay a lot of money. ✓ Pay 2 win for sure..This game is so fun and amazing to play, the story in the actual game and the characters look so good, the fighting is interactive and fun, I overall enjoy playing, but when it comes to character progression and overall progression. 100$ would launch me miles ahead if I would just put money into this game. I saved 12,000 gems for 3 months for the summer event and I didn’t pull not one new summer event character wnd now I probably hav to wait till next summer. I would rather pay for this game, then have micro transactions that allow me to progress in this game. ✓ Overly slow, and terrible PvPGame is way too slow, there’s only 2 banners a month, and 1 Clan Battle + 1 Event a month. This leaves you with large periods of time with nothing new going on. PvP in this game is totally frustrating at the top ranks, with battles feeling like literal coin flips. Attacks and ultimates missing can really make it so you can win/lose with the exact 2 teams fighting. Top rank meta is pretty much filled with stall comps. Better pray that your taunts line up, or you some how manage to kill their Tamaki first or get ready to lose (even if you do many times more dmg, and kill more characters then their team, time up is an instant loss). Princess Arena feels even worse with all the same cancer problems as normal arena, but now with the added perk that you can’t see your opponent’s teams at top ranks. Better pray that you picked the right teams into their’s, or you already wasted one of your 5 daily attempts to figure out their teams. Oh, and even now there are still hackers floating about, so you might just lose ranks to teams you beat. Character designs are cute, but it’s not enough to make up for the pacing. ✓ It’s a “mostly” generous gotcha game but has some flaws...It’s well build and all. Summoning gems are not very difficult to get so that’s a big plus especially for a gotcha game. Sadly the game has no dub but that’s alright. The biggest issue is how luck based ranking up is. You spend stamina to go on quests to get pieces of gear. Each gear has 3 or 4 levels it can drop from so you go there and farm but you probably won’t get what you need. You can WASTE ENTIRE DAYS WORTH OF STAMINA and not get any of the gear you needed. The loot dropped is padded with rank 1 gear that you will just keep pulling those instead of the other gear you needed. If it were the golden gear then yes, that should be hard to get but it’s not. It’s the run of the mill items that require so much materials that the game just won’t drop. The items displayed on levels should have higher drop rates instead of flooding you with rank 1 items that you literally get from beating the first level. I typed all that just to say, a heads up to any new players or people considering playing, this game will stall out real quick so decide if it’s worth your time..MitchManEXVersion: 2.4.8

Admittedly, I was putting a lot of time into due to having a lot of free time at the moment. I went to login the other night and my account had been banned. Apparently me playing the game a lot read to someone at their company as me cheating. I reached out to their customer service to try to resolve the matter, because I did not do anything wrong. No bots, no cheats, no 3rd party software, nothing. I was just playing the game on my phone. They told me they could do nothing to help me, implied that I had broken some rules in the code of conduct (I really didn’t), and said they hope I would continue to support them and would start all over. ✓ Waste of timeThe gameplay may seem fun at first, but sooner or later if get boring and repetitive. All the other element of plot is pure trash. The main character is a classic beta simp and they try to make it unique by him losing his memories, his still a beta. Then u got the PvP, it’s so broke no and unfair. Either u get the 3 star character early so you had used them enough times it’s already ready for PvP, or your like me who had no luck, I have to watch as all the 3 star main just perma heal their main tank as I watch the amount of damage they do as well as somehow how fast there ultimate gets ready, I feel this game was made with side note for money, it has good graphic and all. But the character are inbalanced or completely useless, the healing class is pointless you got the main attackers who can passive heal then the healer themselves ONLY being able to heal upon ultimate. I get that microtransactions are normal in gacha games, but it’s absurd that there are “free gems” and “premium gems” which you pay for with real money, instead of just one gem currency that can be obtained freely or bought. The jump start promo for new players to use the gacha system only applies to people who are willing to spend money upon installing because it uses “premium gems” only. If you are a f2p player, don’t bother with this game. The concept and everything about it is appealing, i admit that, but the gacha system and microtransactions made me uninstall in the first hour. ✓ Great game but heavy money machineI love the game very much including many of cute characters. I love the new story events every once awhile. It is a great game for people who are looking for short stories, Japanese anime voice dialogue and characters fighting monsters. However, the newer characters are very difficult to obtain and upgrade, especially gocha supply. The probability for rate up seems lower than old characters, and easily getting old repeats when the player have not completed collect all in game characters. On top of that the only option to upgrade newer characters are through repeatedly character’s supply points, and maybe random drop from dungeon. The bar is set too high for unlucky players if they are unable to obtain through the probability rate described above, so you might end up spending hundreds of dollars and not getting the new rate up characters which is not really worth it for a 2D game. In addition for in game free gems, you can only obtain them from new story event if you already exhausted all other options (storyline, first complete reward and pvp ranking). CR being the pub had no clue how to comp or fix player grievances when they mess up so if you are unfortunate enough to be screwed over you have 0 recourse which is quite bad compared to other mobage. I have 10 characters left to acquire which are 3 stars… so I bit the bullet and paid for 7500 gems (which is more money than I should ever spend on something like this). This granted me a total of x50 summons, and Not. A. Single. three star character dropped. I wouldn’t of even been too mad if it was a duplicate. There is a pity system, however; one duplicate grants you one pity point to acquire a character. But you need 300, and it resets you to 0 after an allotted time. As nice of a game this is, the obvious money grab is the biggest deterrent. I’ll probably be deleting soon once I’m fed up with it. ✓ Subjective game reviewI will mention four things about this game. First of is the target player for this game. If you like waifu anime and enjoy collecting your favorite characters of Princess Connect, this is a game for you. I actually wanted a gatcha game that has diverse character selection including male and monster units. So I reduced a star for review. Secondly I want to talk about the summon rate. It is low. Yes, you will get a bunch jewel in the beginning which is like many other games. However, later on you will find yourself not able to do any pull when you favorite character comes out. Basically only P2W will be able to collect their waifu. Third thing I want to talk about is the game mechanic. This is a casual game so don’t expect anything crazy complicated. Yes, there are some depth regarding position, skill timing, buff and so on but that is it. Not much to do due to limited stamina and how crazy expensive to refill it. More over, the rng that might or might not go against you for your wanted gear drop. You might spend 200 stamina to just get one piece gear. Last thing I want to talk about is how this game just got released globally but has so little events going on.... seriously, push more events to grab players attention. Make the game rewarding or else player like me won’t stay to play a game that is purely waifu collector. Plus, the animation and graphic is only fine. I do like character with 2.5D or 3D design. What's more, they did not do any compensation about that matter. (I've asked about the compensation, only response was that "they are considering it" and no reply back afterwards) The review would actually be 4-5 star if it wasn't managed by Crunchyroll, or if Crunchyroll actually becomes more communicating and transparent with their Users, like how Cygames, the developer of this game is with their users (on JP).JapGangVersion: 2.5.0

So I’m the type of user that likes to download everything upfront including the voice data on character stories. For those who haven’t played the game, cheaters can use tools to auto win in arena no matter the power discrepancy and knock you down the bracket. Send support tickets and screenshots to Crunchyroll who claims they’re working on it but don’t actually do anything. If you want to play the game for fun go for it, but if you’re looking to spend take money elsewhere because there’s no competitive drive for the newer players as the new brackets will have cheaters. Wish I didn’t start the game 3 weeks after launch! The older brackets where majority whales reside have less cheating and more competition! ✓ Disappointed at the release.I am currently playing in the Chinese version, which I have been playing since the release. Comparing the release of the Chinese version to the current release of the English version, I have to say I am quite disappointed. The Chinese version gives much more resources in the beginning (Gacha alone four times as much) and the translation is much more “cleaner” compared to the English version. But then, I may have to much expectation for Crunchyroll. The English version, as it is now, is quite unfriendly to f2p players compared to the Japanese and Chinese version. So unless Crunchyroll decides to be generous(which is very unlikely considering the past games they’ve licensed), be prepared to spend a few hundred bucks for gacha or constantly restart to get the best initial draws(Makoto and a few other important chara)..???200Version: 2.4.5

✓ I have a lot to nitpick about this.It isn’t perfect but it’s enjoyable, especially the part where you can gain arena and princess arena coins while doing other things (these coins are used to upgrade certain characters), you have stamina check points twice a day (or you can collect both of them at the end of the day) and there’s a decent amount of gems to be found. But it’s still a gacha game, and even worse is it’s auto system, which basically allows the game to play for you, it’s great on paper but they also added skip tickets (which allows you to skip the actual gameplay) meaning that most of the time the auto play is actively making your experience more boring. the sparks system (their not actually called sparks but that’s what the community calls them) only activates after 300 pulls (45000 gems spent on a SINGLE BANNER) which seems pointless since you’ll almost always get the character you want after 100-200 pulls (to their credit, though, sparks are converted to skip tickets at the end of the banner although it makes no sense why you can’t just buy them but instead need to spend 150 gems per ticket and wait till the end of the banner). I have a lot more I have to complain about like crunchyroll’s scummy business practices, the difficulty of grinding for hard mode shards, the infrequency of clan battles (which is the only way to upgrade certain characters) etc. In the end of the day, go play cookie run..DvrdgtVersion: 2.6.4
