✓ The greatest gatcha there isThere is something about the game design and execution of priconne that makes the experience of playing any other gatcha game feel lacking. The game is relatively fast to play. Relevant dailies in the game for the day can be completed in less than 8 minutes. This can be mostly be attributed to the very generous amount of skip tickets, which are not a given in most gatchas. Other QOL updates in the future will drastically lower the time spent doing dailies. This is the most important feature of the game. It respects your time. The gameplay itself is pretty straightforward yet there is quite a decent amount of depth within it. Mostly seen in its pvp and endgame pve content. Interfaces are smooth and responsive as well. Priconne is a generous game, and while you can definitely definitely get by without spending a cent. I love the fun fantasy setting, the characters, that I don’t feel bad spending the 8$ monthly pack. It’s a game i’ll play until EoS..Version: 3.0.5

✓ Good game horrible translationsSo I have played Priconne for a long time. It’s a fun game with great animations. I was excited to see it finally got an English version and to be fair I probably wouldn’t invest much time in it unless I got extremely lucky with my first few gacha pulls since I have most of my favorites on the Japanese version. However, I decided to just stay away from the game all together because crunchyroll decided to take some weird cringeworthy liberties with the translation. Some examples are changing “onii-chan” to “Mr. Nice Guy”. I get it you don’t want your western cancel culture seeing a loli call a stranger big brother but you couldn’t think of a better less weird alternative or perhaps just leave it off completely? Another is adding “bruh” and “amirite” to another characters lines. I get she is considered dumb but wow that’s still sort silly. Edit: Due to developer feedback and what seems like they’re listening I will change my rating. I will send my feedback directly with future translation grievances directly. I absolutely love Priconne and truly want it to succeed. Plus watching Ina play while drawing kokkoro made me want to give it another shot..Version: 2.4.5

I used to get get gems from the arena but for some reason it doesn’t give me any anymore? It also keeps setting back my rank, for example, I was on rank 4000 and it send me back too 6000? The stories are pretty cool and the characters are cute im glad that they don’t dress the girls in like very revealing clothing, im very happy with the game but there is one thing, please make the gacha cheaper or the amount you earn per game higher like maybe 50 gems per game if you get 3 stars, and I think there should be a way to get gems on the same level more times, Thank you I love, love, love this game! ✓ Good addictive game but pvp needs workLike this game and play it every day. The animations are impressive and strategy are well balanced and they even make the constant grinding aspects of the game fun. However the pvp seems to be plagued with hackers which it seems the team are working at remedying. However the rules for the pvp is also ridiculous. You could have the enemy down to one character, almost dead and have them on the ropes and if the timer runs out you automatically lose. It’s not fun and terribly frustrating..Version: 2.4.7

✓ Cute anime cute characters best game everThe anime and background and setting of the the game is so cute and cool and the characters are cute and the story of the game is funny and and cute. The event bosses and regular bosses are so cute at least that’s what I think and the course of the story and event stories are great. The races of people are so cool I want to be part of the elven beast or demon tribe if I could. But there’s one thing that’s bothering me though sometimes when I try to use skip tickets it glitches and stops for a few minutes but I’m fine with that glitch anyway this game has cute anime cute characters a great setting and a great story..Version: 2.11.0

✓ The QualityThe cute characters, unique story, simple gameplay, production and animations are what makes priconne a very quality experience for anyone who is into moe. I put cute characters first for a reason because it’s probably why I love this game. All the characters are cute, voiced and have their own story and bonding moments with the main character and each other with main story being pretty much anime with surprising good animation and acting. And it also has guild stories too that roots a lot characters together to make the game world seem much even more believable and immersive. The gameplay is simple due to it just being a standard free to play JRPG with autoplay feature attached but even so it at least takes a bit of thought and grinding when it comes to a good team composition for higher level play. One nit pick I have has to be the stamina and how tedious it is but it’s pretty standard for a free to play mobile game anyway so it’s understandable. Micro-transactions are pretty fair in my opinion and you probably won’t have to spend much at all because you can earn a good bit of the premium currency in game but spend wisely if you do. In conclusion, it is a very character focused moe JRPG with high quality production put behind a unique story and very simple gameplay. Would very much recommend. ✓ Very addicting and endless fun!I downloaded it about some hours ago and I can’t stop playing! The graphics is superb and fights are intriguing. I recommend this if you are a fan of the show or just like RPG’s. The mechanics are simple yet complex since there is a roster of characters and many ways to upgrade. The only con I can really find about this game is the time to download all the resource packs such as future game dialogue and voice scenes. ✓ Superb story driven gameAs the title of the review suggests, it has a well-driven story that is unlocked progressively as you further progress in the game. There are animated dialogue scenes as well as the occasional, but welcomed, fully animated action scenes/sequences which are always a pleasure to watch. The gameplay is not complicated and is kept rather simple for the average player, the only mechanics that need learning are when to activate certain abilities to maximise proficiency in battle (PvP Arenas excluded as they are always locked to auto). Aside from the battles, there are short stories for every single character as well as guild member stories which focus on multiple individuals and even the game events have their own stories. The main campaign storyline is the pivot which drives the plot and all stories can be replayed at any time at your own convenience ticking off the replayability features. There is also a guild house fun feature where you can design your own guild house with furniture in which some are interactable by the chibi version of the game characters you place inside. The animations for the characters are fluid in their “UB” state and are aesthetically pleasing, it goes without saying the chibi profiles for the characters are very cute as well. The biggest plus for me about this game and the devs in particular are how F2P friendly it is, without spending anything, the game events and freebies allow you to save premium currency to summon the best units (typically a few in a year) which can really push your account to clear the hard content. Oh did you know, every single individual character in the game can wish you a happy birthday when your special day comes, is that not a good enough reason to start playing already?.Version: 4.0.0

✓ F2P ExperienceSo I’ve only been playing pretty much F2P. The only time I spent any money was for daily Jewels and Skip tickets for a whole month. 50 jewels and a certain amount of tickets will be available and It’s 1500 for a 10x Draw. So it helps but you don’t need to spend money at all to enjoy this game. It’s very generous with the resources you need to progress. I’ve only been playing since the end of Valentine’s Day, I am (at the time of this review) a level 51 and have 23,000 Jewels. Like I said it’s very generous from my experience. ✓ A fun auto gameThis game basically is an auto battle game where your job is to grind out equipment and skills, and then throw your team into battles. Positions of characters are fixed (front; middle, back) and within each row characters also have priority on where they will stand (tanks typically take the center). The only downside is that you will not catch up to the players who started the closed global soft launch, even if you choose to spend money. They are set and their Arena teams will be untouchable by you, so you will have to content yourself by knowing you will not be top 1000 or so in the Arena. Also, the Gacha is not as friendly as the JP release, where they have a safety net of sparking (spend 300 rolls, if you don’t get the featured unit, you can select one of them). This should be implemented in the global release. Many characters are farmable. My advice is join a clan and just have fun. Push as far as you can go, and when you are stuck, go back and farm equipment, refine, etc, then push some more. The only way to improve is for suggested levels or power for stages, because if you lose, your stamina is not refunded..Version: 2.4.5

All of the scenes are fully voice acted (though you can turn it off to save data and space), and there are tons of them—the main story, 8 scenes for each character, and more for each guild. The gameplay itself is good but nothing groundbreaking. Make and power up your teams, go through fights, and hit the occasional wall where you have no choice but to grind for gear/levels until you can beat it. If you haven’t been playing from day 1 you have basically no chance of getting in the higher ranks for PVP arenas to get those characters quickly, which can be a turnoff for new players. Certain characters are notably more powerful than others with similar “power” ranks, though you don’t need to spend money to get them if you’re willing to grind certain stages or save your arena coins for them. The animation is amazing! everything is clean, fluid and full of life. the characters are well thought out (especially for a gatcha game), and the dialog is written very well. The gameplay is pretty casual though, not too much strategy or skill involved with the combat system which makes fights stale. There’s very little actual game in here. the whole reason to play this game game is the characters. leveling them up, unlocking more of their story, prepping them for the world boss. This games file size is huge and the gatcha system is a gatcha system. So a Grindey roulette roll for if you get your desired character or the 19th repeat. ✓ Terrific RPG Gacha gameGameplay: Very similar to a lot of RPG games you can form a party of up to 5 characters to go into battle. A lot of emphasis is put into strategy as you will fight different enemies that will require different tactics. Each character has an ultimate attack, 3 skill moves and a normal attack. Each character is unique so a lot of emphasis is put into team building which makes the game very engaging. Story & Characters: The story is told in a visual novel style with animated cutscenes, the quality is very high for a Gacha game. The story starts off with our MC Yuuki who wakes up in the land of Landosol and has to uncover the mysteries around the world. As you play on the mystery unravels and it leaves you wanting to know more. As for characters they'll feel familiar at first as you often see the usual character gripes you see in a lot of animes. But as you increase the bond level of each character you unlock episodes where you get to spend time with them. The characterisation is executed well as characters end up being more than their trope. Out of all the Gacha games I have played I like the ones from Princess connect because you get to spend a lot of time with them individually. Sound & Graphic's: The graphics are very good in this game the animation flows very nicely, character models are designed very well and each character has a unique animation when they use their Union burst. The animated cutscenes make me think I'm watching an actual HQ anime and the vision novel style in the bond episodes are fantastic. In terms of sound every single line in this game is voice acted in the story, main missions, events, bond levels, unions burst and more. What I love is certain characters will interact with others if they are in the same line a nice touch. The soundtrack is amazing they really went all out when they didn't need to, it's very immersive during in game and the OST is very catchy. Gacha system: As with most mobile games there is a stamina system, you get 1 per 5 mins. Although this might sound underwhelming the game is very generous with stamina you get given two packs of 100 stamina a day. When you beat certain bosses you get items that can give you stamina, roughly you can get 600-800 stamina a day at times which is very generous compared to most Gacha games. Also the game respects your time since they have a system where they give you skip tickets as a result you don't have to spend time doing levels in case you're busy. The actual Gacha itself is pretty good to get characters you like you'll have to roll them in the Gacha or farm for them. One roll is 150 jewels, 10 is 1500 there is a hard pity at 300 rolls which will cost you 45K. This may seem a lot but the game is very generous as they often give out free jewels when they can, they have out over 20K jewels on its 1.5 anniversary and a bunch of free rolls. The game is very F2P friendly not only do you get a lot of gems; the starter characters you get end up being strong as you level them up and some are the best in the game. Overall it's one of the best mobile games I have ever played during my 9 years of having a smart phone and I can't recommend this game enough..Version: 3.6.0

✓ 10 Stars Couldn’t Do This Game JusticeMany of you know the more common JRPGs and Gacha games such as Gacha Life and Genshin Impact. I’ve played both games and although I have enjoyed both and keep both installed I do believe that JRPG and Gacha games are the most frustrating. When I first downloaded this game, I expected it to be more like genshin impact in that we were fighting and running around in real time and there were quests, rather than how it is where you chose when to fight and when to level up and bond with characters. All in all I think that Crunchyroll outdid themselves and that this game is the best mix between JRPGs and Gacha games. It’s not too frustrating and you’re not spending your time just to get weapons you already have a bunch of and can’t sell. I think everyone should at least try this game. ✓ Subjectively 3, but good qualityThere are a few good things about this game, how it gives you skip tickets to quickly farm material, how free to play the game is, the series itself is amazing. Already got to around chapter five. However with crunchyroll being the one to translate it there will be some weird localizations that go against the plot or censorship since the US has a thing against fanservice. It definitely gives thought to mind of how the player feels but now my guild house is just done with buying all the possible decorations, and I’m stuck at chapter 5. I’m in college so I don’t have all the time in the world for games. The good thing though is that this can be linked to your Facebook account and deleted to free up space on any device, while the account and characters still exist. ✓ A Good Anime; A Decent GameI’ve enjoyed playing this game. The only complaint that I have is that they seemed to invest quite a bit on the stories (main story, character stories, guild stories, misc stories) but not enough on the actual gameplay. The quests seem to just be there for you to get 3 stars so you can unlock another cut scene. There also doesn’t seem to be a lot going on with character and equipment building/ team composition. You can usually just blow through content with your highest powered team of 5. Regardless of whether you have a healer, buffer, etc..Version: 2.6.4
✓ Great gameI only recently downloaded this game. So far I’m really enjoying it you got many characters to collect and find out there story. It is a bit of a time consuming game if your trying to unlock there stories and to follow the main story too. I hope if this game goes so well it be turned into an anime if it hasn’t happened already. The only downside would be it takes roughly 5 mins to gain one energy and it cost roughly 8 energies to do one quest. The other thing is that it not in English dub and that the time don’t follow your timeline only on where this game was created I’m assuming as there a way to gain 100 energy at a certain time and it didn’t unlock on my timeline so yeah. It still early days so there always time for improvements.Version: 2.4.5
✓ Atelier Firis Collab, Please!I already love Priconne the way it is now, but I’d love to see an Atelier Firis collab, with Firis herself and Ilmeria both being exclusive to the gacha, since they’re both Alchemists, and in the Atelier franchise, Alchemists are usually the main protagonists, thus making them more popular, while Liane should be obtainable for free in the same collab event, too, since she’s actually quite funny and silly, at least whenever Firis is involved, especially in Atelier Lydie & Suelle, since Liane teases Firis a lot, which already reminds me of the Magical Girl event in Priconne, since Shiori, who just happens to also use a bow just like Liane does, teases Kasumi, who just happens to be cutesy like Firis is, by coincidence! Sophie and Plachta should instead appear as special NPCs in a similar role to Subaru from the Re:Zero collab, since I’d rather see Sophie and Plachta instead be obtainable in an Atelier Sophie 2 collab. Though I’d much rather see an Atelier Firis collab in Priconne first, since it’s my number one fave Atelier game of all time! The fact that Atelier Ryza had a collab event in three different mobile games gives me hope for Atelier Firis to have a collab event in Priconne! I hope I’m not the only one who wants this to happen so badly, as it would make me SO happy! Oh, and Atelier Firis even has a proper anime-style opening movie, too, which would work perfectly in Priconne. Lastly, there should definitely be exclusive Intimacy Episodes added for the Atelier Firis collab, too, like what already happened with the Re:Zero collab before!.Version: 4.7.1

The gacha is not bad it’s better than genshin’s gacha but it’s way more exciting to see what waifui I would get. It keeps me going I would play other games usually for 3 hours but when this game came out I played 6 hours everyday I will grind and it’s so entertaining. The anime is the best too. ✓ Great so far!I’m in love with this game, ever since I’ve heard of it I have wanted it to hit global and now it’s here. I’ve been having a lot of fun so far and haven’t had any issues at all. It plays a lot like idle games, gather gear to increase a characters ‘rank’, level up skills, shards to increase star rating. As I watch cry crunchy roll a lot I saw it as an advert and pre-ordered it ever since and I thought I remembered it saying that it’s coming out on the 1st March so when I suddenly saw it last night I can remember the excitement! Basically it is sweat fest looking up best teams grinding all this other stuff just repeated with no new content apart from new main quest which is basically the same thing with different monsters. ✓ Don’t listen to the P2W guy. Game is F2PPrincess connect is a very F2P friendly game compared to other games I’ve played. Just don’t get addicted to pulling for characters. Gems, ( currency to get characters ) are easy to get in large quantities through things like the battle arena and special events. You can even get Gems easily by just progressing through the campaign. You get 30 every battle won without any deaths. It may seem little, but the battles are short and easy. You’ll go from 0 to 700 gems in a blink of an eye. Characters are easy to get. You can easily get good characters with 30 pulls. but even if you didn’t get any good meta characters, you can easily beat pve ( and maybe pvp ) if you just level them up and increase their ranking. I can still get beat up by a leveled and properly built Lima. Too long didn’t read ; Princess connect is a Free 2 play friendly game. Don’t listen to the others that say it isn’t, they just got addicted, spent too much money and got mad..Version: 3.6.0
