✓ It’s ok, but if you have problems it’s hard to get helpLong title there oops… The app is fun and pretty simple to use. However, I have had some troubles when it comes to editing: - when I record some audio and go to edit it, it only plays the first 40 seconds of the track before skipping back to the beginning even if I recorded more than 40 seconds worth of audio - when I apply a filter to one audio track, all of the audio tracks gain the filter, even when I have selected only one track. ( the selected track shows the white outline when I click on it which I presume indicates it has been isolated) - I can only change the speed of all the tracks together, there is not an option to alter the speed of individual tracks - if I record myself and accidentally have a voice filter on, I cannot remove that filter. This keeps happening as when I open up the app and start a new recording, it automatically has the magic filter selected which makes my voice sound shaky and wobbly. I have tried to find help on the official Mayk.it website which had no option for contact and support with problems and on the apple store report a problem which wouldn’t let me report a problem since the app was free. I also tried to report my problem on Justuseapp.com which Mayk.it had a profile which included an option to report problems with the app. However, when I submitted my Problem statement, the page alerted me with a pop up that said my concern was not submitted because it was a fraud (I have no idea why it would think this). I then clicked on a button that had information on customer support which directed my to another site called appcontactor.com where I typed in ‘Mayk’ but the site claimed it had no information by that name, I also tried ‘Mayk.it’ but it didn’t work either. This does not seem very professional or helpful for customers who need help as it is extremely confusing and difficult to get basic support for problems with the app. I hope they update their website so it is easy to seek help and information in regards to problems as it would make the user experience much better. I was and am genuinely excited to use this app to create and record vocals, audio and music but if the issues keep happening I won’t be able to :(.Mckenzie kitVersion: 1.18.0

✓ Had such potential …Was loving this app till I started to really edit my recordings by stretching them and cutting all the empty spots and all breath sounds and adding layers the app now crashes every time I go to reopen my draft to keep editing I can’t even do anything before the app closes again … I get to the point where I’m pretty much done and ready to upload and never can … please fix this issue because I really would enjoy this app if I could actually finish a song..Joceeee94Version: 1.11.0

✓ EhI kind of liked this app at first. I was a fan, but I had a lot of game breaking problems as I used it more. I couldn’t make music because the studio kept kicking me out as soon as I would click create. If it didn’t do that then it was not saving my songs when I went to edit them, then kick me from the app. The audio would mess up over time and my voice would not be picked up, so I would have to close the app and reopen. It might sound like my phone but it’s not. It was the app. Also, for some reason I will sing high and low notes and the app changes them to flat notes that are unchanging and it sounds bad. I am able to hear the beat and monitor my vocals during a performance. I can’t do that with this app. At all. And without that function I’m not even remotely interested in recording content for the app. It’s that important to me. ✓ Harsh beats only good for rappingYou can basically only make rap music. Theres harsh beats and generic sound clips and other voices in the beats they provide you. Theres no tutorial on how to use the editing things. The app crashed every time i tried to trim my voice clips. Theres potential but right now its just a good idea that needs more working. The vocal effects are like those voice changing toys for kids, i dont see how you can make anything good out of them. The radio one is fun but thats it. Also the “vibes” are cool but only if you can layer them and apply them to specific clips instead of the entire song..RyshypookieVersion: 1.9.0

✓ DisappointingHad a song in my head that was really important to get out but this app just isnt what i needed it to be… The clips are all mostly rap, even one labelled otherwise are more rap and r&b style which, no issue with that style but it wasnt the vibe i was going for. On top of that, theres no way to loop clips to make them longer. Most apps like this you can loop a beat for a longer song. So adding a feature like that may help Also, theres no way to delete drafts, and every time i change the beat, and close the app, when i go back to it, it doesnt save any of my progress and reverts back to the same “draft” that has the same starting beat you have to change from, nor does it save any of the vocal recordings. Theres no way to save it at all unless you “finish” the song, and then theres no way to edit it once youve hit the “finish” button. ✓ Terrible appAt first, when discovering this app, I thought to myself, wow, the effects on this app are amazing and I felt like it was easier to make songs here than any other music editing app. I was starting to like until i recorded my first song there, which turned out great, but I’ve noticed after finishing recording my song it would kick me out for no reason. I felt frustrated because I’ve worked all night on this song only to get kicked out 3 times. I’ve tried downloading it again to update and still nothing worked. Then I came back and all my work was gone. I was mad but I let it go. Then today I was like let’s Give this app another shot so I recorded my song again. ✓ Not for meI don’t think that it’s terrible, but it’s basically just for rap, as most of the beats seem to be, even the pop ones seem to start leaning towards more rap, which just isn’t my taste in music, also when I went over to the “beat maker” part, I expected it to be a variety of different instrument noises but it was basically just a bunch of gags and hahas, so nothing for serious stuff, also the filters were kind of wonky, especially since you couldn’t tell how much of an effect it would make until you fiddled with the settings and went over the sound again, which isn’t a super big problem in my opinion, I understand that it’s also a social app, but I did want to make an interesting song, but honestly I wasn’t given much to work with in terms of background, you had the pre-made beats, which there was quite a bit of variety of, but I couldn’t make my own beat, nor was there any seeming way to upload a beat unto it, which is a pretty big deal, when people hear “make a song” it makes you think of the lyrics AND melody, and it was unfortunate that I could only make the lyrics, which makes this more of a songwriting app than a song making app, I suppose it would be useful if you’re interested in rap or making lyrics, but honestly not much else TL;DR it’s aimed towards people who like rap, no way to make you own beat, and some of the controls are wonky and difficult to use.AngelHeck201Version: 1.0.19
