DONT BUY. They’re trying to take advantage of neurodivergent folks. It took 4 MONTHS to get a response when I applied for a student discount. And the student “discount” is more than the annual subscription discount. WHAT?? No response whatsoever regarding affordability access. It’s pathetic and shameful that these people are trying to take advantage of people with ADHD. Read ADHD books like “Order from Chaos” by Jaclyn Paul; “Getting Things Done” by David Allen; anything by Russell Barkley, including his lectures that are free on YouTube. These are much more useful resources than this garbage..Version: 1.6.0

Way too expensiveSubscription apps are a real ADHD trap. Be mindful of your money before signing up..Version: 1.4.3

Sneaky auto-renewal is not ADHD friendlyIt's honestly baffling to me that an app meant for people with ADHD would charge you after a free trial without reminding you when the trial is up. I got whacked with the price of a yearly subscription because I forgot to cancel the auto-renewal... because I have memory issues due to ADHD..Version: 1.5.3

Price. The cost of this programme is utterly ludicrous- doesn’t surprise me that the developers are American, medical problems over there seem to represent an industry to fleece people. £43 a month or £180 for a year, for an app… sorry, on what planet? So ridiculous it’s funny..Version: 1.7.10

Mixed feelingsInflow is informative and helpful, but very expensive, even with a student discount. They are taking advantage of people with a mental disorder. A mental disorder that has made it difficult to hold down a job for some, you know, in order to pay for expensive apps..Version: 1.7.4

LiedGot email saying i got chosen use the app for 1 yr for free so when i accessed it, completed several questions and then ask to try for free for 7 day trail what is that, completely false advertisement. Not bother with this app..Version: 2.0.1

Customer Service and Content LackingI really wanted to love this app. I need it. However, as I got into my free trial, I noticed that the things that appealed to me most, like a coach, were left lacking badly. I go through the questions to match me with the right person, etc. There are only 2 coaches. One or the other. So all the hoopla about matching me to someone for me is not real. They don’t even have both sexes available as a coach. It’s one woman or the other woman. I emailed the Dr. Who was emailing me every few minutes about a session asking questions and got no response. Reached out to customer service and was told “ Unfortunately we do not have a male ADHD coach. If you are interested in coaching, please move forward with the options we have in the onboarding process. Thank you.” I responded that I took my trial over Thanksgiving and didn’t get to use it until we got back and wondered if I could get more time? No response. So I’m out. Great idea and concept that doesn’t seem to work or deliver on everything it says. And that’s sad because as I said, I need a program like this..Version: 2.8.2

Charged for 12 months after trial unable to cancel subscriptionI am really dissatisfied that I was charged for 12 months instead of being charged monthly, so therefore I can’t cancel any time. It takes time to find out if an app is suitable to my needs I am trying to submit my review and I have to enter a nick name, the app says my multiple attempts to choose a nickname are all taken. Convenient way to stop me leaving a negative review.Version: 2.8.2

Also disappointedHighly infuriating that I wasted time signing up and answering questions to them be met with a monthly subscription fee sign up after 7 days! Sick and tired of subscription services on apps now and if I’d of known this from the start I wouldn’t of even downloaded this app!.Version: 1.6.0

NopeToo expensive.Version: 1.6.6

ADHD Subscription TrapIt looks as though it’s had a lot of thought put in to it but I couldn’t even remember to use it during the free trial. I received the email about the free trial ending during work hours and forgot to unsubscribe after work. Really frustrating. I’d read somewhere on a review in here that they’re good about refunds if you forget to cancel (because ADHD) but since then I read through their policy and it says they won’t provide refunds. Now I’ve forked out over $100 that I can’t afford, for an app I won’t use. Aaargh! 🙈.Version: 1.6.0

Assigned a Coach whether I wanted them or not.I unfortunately didn’t get very far, the reason being that I do not like forced social interaction that I do not have the ability to opt out of. Though it’s cool coaches are available, I’m not particularly ready for one and forcing me into an interaction I didn’t want or ask for was jarring and extremely uncomfortable. And it felt rude to simply ignore the message but I also couldn’t find a space to opt out of coaching for now. If there is one and I simply missed it I’d be happy to give it a try again! But yeah that’s a hard pass for me. I enjoyed the one module I was able to start, the Organisation module. Would be interested in the CBT side of things without the coach being auto assigned and a chat already started for me. I appreciate the coach sending the first message but only if I had agreed to coaching to begin with instead of it being basically the second thing to do since joining the app. I just wanted the CBT stuff..Version: 2.0.8

Subscription neededInstalled the app, went through a bunch of info etc only to find you need a subscription to actually use it. More transparency is needed on the app page..Version: 2.8.2

Don’t botherHiding the app behind such a massive paywall is awful, especially when they’re claiming to want to help people. Though, quite nice of them to open their app up to all people, with a bunch of different psychological ailments, regardless of diagnosis, as long as people can pay! CBT as a treatment has been questioned, with declining efficacy rates and quite nasty potential side effects. ADD is no longer a clinical term, and I’m pretty sure it’s been out of professional circulation since like 2014 or something. Don’t waste your time or money with this app. It doesn’t seem like they’ve done their homework. Spend that $199 USD on something that’ll actually help you..Version: 2.4.0

Mindbogglingly expensiveI’ve never seen an app with such an expensive ongoing cost and the idea of a 7-day trial after which you will be charged $30 automatically for the next month seems incredibly exploitative for a group who almost invariably struggle with the executive dysfunction that would make cancelling within those 7 days difficult. If you have ADHD and are not incredibly wealthy, don’t risk this..Version: 1.5.7

Tone is not quite right. Now that the technical issues have been fixed, I’ve had the chance to give this a go. The structure of the app and chunking of the information is great. I love that there are both video and text options. The information itself is brilliant… and there are definitely techniques that I could learn and use to help manage my time and support my organisation. However, the language used is disappointing, and the tone is not quite right for me. In one section alone there is reference to “messing up”, “screw ups” and “weakness”. Not everyone’s experience with ADHD has been negative, and I’m not sure how helpful this narrative is..Version: 1.6.0

DisappointingI really enjoyed this app, so I attempted to sign up at a student rate using my credentials from the university I am currently studying at. I never heard back from anyone. I am having a very difficult time due to medical treatments that have made my ADHD much worse, so I really could have used this..Version: 1.6.0

Turned off before even getting to try it.Was tricky to get started - kept bugging. Then it was the usual ploy: agree to subscription fees, free for 7 days - oooohhh - they’ll refund me if I forget to cancel. Nope. I am not giving my financials to try something. I don’t like that model - let me try and then I might sign up if it’s worth it..Version: 1.7.8

Wasn’t what I’d hoped forI saw an ad and downloaded Inflow with hopes of finding ways to implement the information given. I liked some of the modules initially but didn’t feel that it really helped with organizing tasks or finding solutions to managing ADHD. I forgot to cancel my trial on time so I ended up with the $200 charge and decided to make the best of it. I’ve tried using it several times over the last 10 months, sometimes for weeks straight and sometimes i forget it exists despite the reminders. This may work for mild ADHD or someone wondering if they have it but I didn’t notice anything special about it..Version: 2.4.0

££££I’ve had to cancel my subscription twice now, signed up for free trial but didn’t work for me so cancelled and deleted app. Now found that my subscription hadn’t cancelled and been charged the full amount. Received no reminders to cancel during trial as app says you get, and no emails at all since January, as well as nothing showing in my subscriptions on phone, so naturally assumed it was cancelled. I had to verify my account via email to be able to log in and cancel this time (hopefully actually cancelled this time as still received no confirmation of it) so completely out of pocket for something I won’t use and have two additional charges for payments overseas?! Extremely costly and definitely not worth the price for me..Version: 2.8.3

No complaintsCurrently testing the free trial as I can’t afford the monthly payments, but you can apply for a reduced price or extended free trial. For those who can pay it 100% lives up to its claim, definitely built by ADHD people for ADHD people. So thorough and informative, it’s the holy grail app.Version: 2.6.4

Terribly expensiveSuper slow and downloading it was a pain for the constant updates.Version: 1.8.7

I didn’t love this as much as I wanted to.I am desperate to figure out how to manage my ADHD. I wanted this app to change my life. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. If you’re someone who has investigated other tools, chances are that none of the info will be new. The most painful part for me is that the most frequent tip is to journal, or write it down. My executive functions are deficient; I am terrible at time management. Finding time to journal or write it down and reflect is often a time consuming and stress-inducing task. When I end up not journaling every emotion, I will be overcome with feelings of failure and shame. This just isn’t the tool for me..Version: 2.8.3

Billing issue resolved quicklyHad a billing issue related to free trial. This was resolved quickly and refund processed within a couple of days..Version: 2.2.1

Over pricedLegit people are struggling with their mental health and the audacity for the subscription is mind blowing. This is why people with mental illnesses cant receive the help they need. Greedy company..Version: 2.2.7

Money money moneySeems these days you can only get on top of things if you have a ridiculous amount of money. I get these things take some time and money to set up, but $30 a month (USD) PER PERSON? Really? I can’t wait for the day people realise how dumb this is and collectively put companies like this out of business..Version: 2.5.0

Deleted the App!Downloaded this app before founding out it costs £180 per year to use. As there is only a 7 day free trial to see if this expensive App is worth all the money (not long enough) and knowing I will most likely forget to cancel if I don’t find it usefull - I have decided to delete it before even getting started. I have no problem paying money for something that’s good but how do we know unless we’ve tried it out. If you are truly confident in your App - make the free trial longer - 30 days - and this is the most important thing you need to do - DON’T TAKE ANY PAYMENT DETAILS UNTIL THE END OF THE TRIAL. You will then gain trust from the beginning and more people will try it out. If it’s good we will pay. If not we won’t. What you are doing is unscrupulous for people with ADHD - you are taking advantage of the people you are supposedly helping. Shame on you..Version: 1.8.7

DONT DOWNLOAD UNLESS YOU WANT A PAID MEMBERSHIPLiterally asks you to set up an account to only find out it’s a free one week trial and you have to pay afterwards…and it doesn’t even tell you the price when it asks you to continue. They just let you know that you don’t have to keep the app or you can cancel the membership. THEN if you don’t want to do the free trial you have to go an erase your account. *finds out it’s 200/yr* As an impulsive person, i cannot impulsively invest $200 a year towards an app. I was so hopeful that it was going to be affordable but just an app you have to pay A LOT of money for. The problem isn’t that they’re charging for their work. It’s that it’s so much money at once that it seems wildly unaffordable. I did read that they have programs to help financially but it all doesn’t sit right to me. I think it’s reasonable to assume that a vast majority of people aren’t going to pay $200 a year for an app they just downloaded 7 days ago and don’t even know if their impulses can keep up..Version: 1.8.4

I like the ideaI liked the idea but I found a lot of the lessons were a bit introductory for me and the format was tough for me to engage with. When I was first diagnosed I went into a hyperfocus and read and learned everything I could and I have a pretty good general idea of most of what was on the app. I also found myself thinking of it as another thing to do and feeling guilt about the money I paid and that I wasn’t using it enough and that made me avoid it even more. I really appreciate the work everyone put in and It’s really interesting if you haven’t gone into a hyperfocus about adhd and want to learn more but I found myself adding it to my to do list and then moving it to the next day because it came down to this or meditation. Im still looking for a place that has stuff like a super easy day planner, a place to store really easy reliable meals, an adhd friendly a place to get interesting tips like those that I often find on “how to adhd” about things like the “wall of awful”, adhd friendly meditation, some focus building games, a task timer, or even maybe some lessons that explain the neuroscience behind adhd..Version: 1.9.7

Do you even know how adhd people suffer? Doesn’t appear so.I have 2 major issues from the get go with this app. First, it’s too expensive, the majority of people with adhd struggle with our finances as a result of impulsive or inattentive behaviour, when I looked at reviews they were saying £20 a month £90 a year, and I thought that was ok, only to go through sign up and find it’s double that, £43 a month or £180 a year. £43 is what I spend on my whole food shop for a week for my household of 2! No app, which has major limitations and cannot replace actual coaching, especially for a condition where accountability is a major driving issue, is worth that much money. They say it’s to replace in person coaching but frankly, you can not to open an app, you can ignore reminders, and more often than not they become wallpaper as they mix with all the other notifications on your phone. You can’t ignore a person who is actually stood there asking how something went. Plus when looking at reviews the things that might make it worth the exorbitant cost are not in my time zone. Second, Promising to refund people who forget to cancel isn’t good enough, you should have a free trial that is actually free, no payment details taken until the trial is over. It’s shocking that as you claim to have adhd yourselves you don’t do a trial where no details are taken, and knowing that the majority of adhd people will 1. Forget to ask for a refund, and 2. Procrastinate on it when they do remember because it’s so much painful admin is predatory and frankly disgusting. Of all people you should know how hard it is to remember to cancel at a time that you can actually cancel, and not remember while you’re washing up or driving the car, and you should know that as time goes on people are going to build a wall of awful around cancelling. If you actually believed your app was as good as you claim and wanted to be inclusive you would be like sunsama, have a 14 day free trial where people can try it without having to give you payment details or set up a payment, then they try the app and love it and find it useful so they then pay. If you’re so sure your app is so great what have you got to lose? Surely everyone who tries it will want to pay for it because it’s so amazing it’s worth spending the same amount I spend on groceries every month? Alternatively you could set it up so that if the person doesn’t use the app for say 5 days in a row, it automatically cancels and refunds them, why don’t you do that instead of manipulating the very condition you claim to support?.Version: 1.8.6

DisappointedI really hate when you download an app that does not state that if you want to use it at all, you have to enter into a yearly subscription (nearly £90). Yes you get a 7 day free trial but as someone with ADHD, I often forget to cancel these and then end up paying for something I might use. Also, I had to go through the whole verification/account set-up process with emails and confirmation codes and emails that take too long too arrive so that was super frustrating and made me wonder if the developers actually know anyone with ADHD or realise how frustrating these kind of multi-step processes are for someone with ADHD. So I never got to use the app, but if these basics aren’t right for someone with ADHD then how good can the actually app even be!.Version: 1.5.4

Feels like a griftDeveloper does not list app cost in the App Store. Price is not disclosed until after you set up an account with personal information. Only then does it tell you the 7-day trial ends with either a $48/month or $199/year fee. That cost is obscene for what the app offers, and it’s more than double the cost they charged a few months ago. The 20% financial assistance discount they offer has a 6 month waiting list! That should tell you the price structure is exorbitant. Plus, 7 days isn’t enough time to assess the efficacy of this app, especially when the online counselors take 48 hours to respond. Responses should be immediate like other therapy apps (which don’t charge $200-$576 a year). The whole thing is shameful..Version: 1.8.7

Great appApp is great and I loved my free trial.. sadly out of my price range to pay for a annual or monthly fee at this level..Version: 2.2.7

Ok. Expensive & Coaching is not good for the price.I like to community aspect of this app. I like the courses that you can do and the zoom ‘drop-ins’. However the big USP of this app is the personal coaching. This is why they charge £170 per year. However the coach I had would send scripted sentences about setting goals about 2 days after I sent them a message. I was struggling at one point and didn’t respond to a few messages and haven’t heard from them since (about 4 months ago), no check-ins, or queries about how things were going. Nada. I like the idea behind this app. However I do feel like I’ve paid hugely over the odds for what is essentially a few very brief 5 min Education courses..Version: 2.2.9

No free versionIn order to open this app you have to commit to a paid expensive contract. There is no access to this app without first agreeing to subscribe. It would be better to provide limited access for free and allow people to opt in to the paid service rather than forcing a subscription that has to be cancelled on people who are trying to get help with organisation. Seems like an unfair and very expensive trap to me. I deleted it immediately as I know I’ll forget to cancel. Plus it’s not worth it if you only get 1 week free..Version: 1.9.7

Could not get through the first lessonThe font was ugly, and it’s just way too long…how is this catered to people with adhd. UI is confusing..Version: 2.7.6

Strange choice of messaging considering the subjectHard to give it a full review as I fell at the first hurdle… after filling out their form confirming demand avoidance and sensitivity to criticism it said it was generating a custom course for me, then the very first page it provided was just “this time, stick to it”. Needless to say I immediately hated it and closed it 😂.Version: 2.8.3

PricyAwful!! u have to pay to access everything!.Version: 1.3.6

Know your customerI started this free trial after hearing about this app and wanted to check it out. The content is pretty decent and helpful. I am however very disappointed that after the 7 day free trial, you are automatically charged the most expensive option of a 1 year subscription with coaching ($300+). This shows a lot of disrespect to the intended audience of this app who are very likely to forget to cancel. Talk about taking advantage of the ADHD tax. If this happens to you, don’t worry. You can go through the Apple to get a refund. I got one within 24 hours. The monthly is also a little bit on the pricy side but I honestly would have paid the monthly amount for a little while longer to see if it helped me manage adhd. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t be re-subscribing. I hope you consider changing this practice..Version: 1.7.8

It’s usefulIt felt like I was not able to talk to the coach because of my unpredictable reality. I noticed that and had a little conversation and my free trial ran out. I learned from the one topic I chose to commit too. Only chose one because I didn’t pay attention to the subscription cost and the free trial is a week..Version: 1.7.10

Sad to readWas excited to try this app. Having read the reports about the extreme price paired with the auto billing after a free trial though this has turned me right off and now I won’t touch it. If your app is really intended to help people with Adhd this process needs to be rethought or unfortunately you just come off like you’re taking advantage of some of a major ADHD vulnerability for profit. Just another kick in the face. I’m not saying you don’t deserve to make money from your work or service, seems like a great app, but this is basically baiting and then using clients disability against them. That’s messed up. alternative examples: -daily countdown synced to email during trial period + extremely straightforward process to deregister. That would show respect. -some free content + tour of pro content features without usability until payment -pay when you’re ready to upgrade then after payment can trial the features for 2-4 days and if it’s not a good fit there’s an option for money back in this period. (Basically the same as a trial and trust me you’d still make money here but at least it’s not forcing a pending direct auto bill at time of download).Version: 1.7.8

Glad my friend warned me!I’ve been searching for a good ADHD app for a while now and recently downloaded a few to feel them out. Luckily enough My friend who has some experiences with the apps let me know of her very....different experience with the co founder of this app. She was charged 95$ for a yearly subscription. The options are either 95$ for a year or 30$ for a month. Not sure how that math makes sense? The co founder then proceeded to email her not once, but twice to get her to take down her review. Also, attaching screenshots basically calling her a liar about when she received the email about the charge and when she opened it. As a co founder, customer service should be one of the most important things you should have. Very disappointed that a mental health app would go out of their way to talk rudely to someone for expressing their own feelings..Version: 1.3.6

Warning: Deceptive Pricing Practices in this App!I installed this app expecting to try out a free trial, but what I encountered was a pricing strategy that left me baffled and frustrated. To access the so-called “free trial,” you’re required to commit to a hefty £180 annual payment, but only if you pay it all at once. If you can’t afford that upfront, be prepared to face an astonishing charge of £516. In essence, it’s £180 for the privileged few and a staggering £516 for the rest of us. And here’s the kicker: if you forget to cancel before the free trial ends, you’ll be hit with unexpected charges. Don’t be fooled by smooth-talking responses from the company. While they claim to offer refunds if you forget to cancel, that might not be a lifeline for everyone. For some, the damage is already done when they can’t afford to pay for groceries at the checkout. It’s clear and straightforward: if they truly wanted to provide a genuine free trial, they could do so without these financial traps. They could charge everyone fairly, regardless of their ability to pay upfront. My advice? Exercise caution and think twice before getting involved with this app..Version: 2.6.8

No refund if you forgetNowhere in your terms and conditions does it state a refund is available if the customer forgets. What is clearly stated though is that subscription payments made through the two most common app stores Apple’s APP STORE and Googles PLAYSTORE are final and non refundable. So I don’t like my chances of being refunded your subscription fee which is way too much by the way in any scenario. So the huge subscription fee and the deceiving refund claim made me delete the app before I even started. Disappointed.Version: 1.8.7

No way to cancel subscriptionI downloaded this app to use the trial and test it out. I chose the plan that says .50c a day. After deciding I didn’t want it, I went to cancel and it transferred me to a page where I clicked “cancel subscription” it then followed up with questions asking me if I still wanted to cancel it. It gave me directions to go into my App Store and check for subscriptions and cancel through there, however there is no subscription for Inflow listed in my apps…. I checked my settings on my phone subscriptions as well and there was still no listing for inflow! I was charged $200 this morning and I still cannot access any cancel button since it is not listed under any subscriptions. This is unacceptable..Version: 2.4.0

Subscription process needs to change.I like your app. I am a mom to several grown children/teens who would greatly benefit from your app. Your process of automatically charging after the 7 day trial needs to change. You sending reminder emails isn’t adequate for your audience. You know and I know the vast majority of people with ADHD have issues with automatic subscriptions. Do the right thing, ask for money to continue after the trial period is over instead of automatically charging it. You guys are obviously talented. How hard is it to pop up a button after the trial is over to say “if you’d like to continue please pay to subscribe”? This would be far more equitable to your target audience. Great work and a great product, now add in understanding and compassion for the adhd community you are trying to reach and you will be rockstars!.Version: 2.1.1

Doesn’t live up to it’s wordI am pretty disappointed with this company because going in they make promises that they don’t keep. I did the 7 day trial which is not enough time for a person with ADHD to get a feel for whether it is something they can commit too. It seemed really promising and so I didn’t cancel and ended up paying the full year subscription. It is not cheap but I felt hopeful that it would be worth it. I did well in staying committed for two weeks but then something disrupted the routine and I started to struggle with even remembering that I had the app let alone that I paid a few hundred dollars for it. The biggest selling point for me was that there was the mentors that you speak with to help you and I was open about my struggles with the app with then. But one day that options was just gone. I went to message the person and couldn’t find our chat and haven’t been able to since. Contacted support and never heard back from them!! Another selling point was that they seemed understanding of how ADHD works and committed to offering refunds anytime no questions. I wrote support to talk about getting at least a partial refund because I just wasn’t receiving any value from the app, it just wasn’t working for me. I never heard back from them. This is a gigantic red flag and I really regret spending the money. I would proceed with caution before giving any money to a company as inconsistent as this one..Version: 2.8.2

Good if you aren’t in therapy/don’t have other resourcesI was hoping that this app would offer helpful routine/time management things, like letting you plan a routine, timers/reminders, offering resources on how to develop and stick to routines, etc. That’s not really what it’s for – it’s basically a therapy programme which has a journal & a space for you to write what you want to focus on every day. The therapeutic resources are OK – I imagine there are probably a few things in there that I didn’t already know, but I’ve covered a lot of it in CBT, DBT and other therapies I’ve done or read about independently. So if you’re a beginner to emotional regulation, time management, etc. and/or just want to put some work in across the board, it’s probably good for that, but it’s quite beginner-level so I won’t be paying for the full version after the trial. A lot of potential and I’ll be keeping an eye out for updates, but this version didn’t offer me anything new..Version: 1.3.7

Cannot sign up for no coaching in free trialI was very interested in trying the app for seven days, read several reviews and then read through the paid subscription types available in the Apple Store list. I got through most of the signup screens only to find that the free trial requires the coaching option. If I could do a free trial for only the “Understand your ADHD” and “Thrive with new tools and habits” portions without the “Coaching by ADHD Specialists”, I would be in, and probably convert to annual subscription for that. But I cannot see how to do that through the signup process for a free trial even after reading the lengthy Terms. So frustratingly, I am not moving forward. I anticipate the app is great but I do not want a coach and have to interact with someone directly..Version: 2.1.0

Be careful , hard to contactTried to cancel my subscription, but my credit card keeps getting charged. I sent a few emails to customer service but still no reply!.Version: 2.8.2

Best Body Doubling sessions - why cancel them?I finally found an app that works for me.. I tried a ton of things, body doubling discord, Study Together discord, setting up sessions with friends, having body doubling sessions with my ADHD coach. Was about to try Focusmate but there is such friction to setting up a session, and what if you get a weirdo. Then I found Inflow. My productivity doubled because of the body doubling sessions. I discontinued bc of the price, went back to finding and alternative, and then I caved and paid for a year (there’s a way to pay w/o paying for coaching). Aaah, finally my productivity increased again!!! I especially love the Tessa sessions, great for people on the West Coast. The timer is shared, you can be on or off camera. You state your goal and work with a timer for 25 mins on, 5 mins off. Then you update what you’ve done or comment if you catch yourself getting distracted. Others cheer you on and give helpful tips, including the lovely Tessa. There’s a sense of community. They aren’t well-advertised, so maybe not too many people don’t know about them. But people KEEP COMING BACK. There are regulars, and a sense of community. The only problem was that they didn’t have enough sessions and didn’t cover all the days. And then.. I hear that instead of having more zoom sessions, they’re discounting the ones I most love!! Please, Inflow, don’t do this. I guess I’ll have to find another alternative..Version: 2.6.0

Pricing structure takes advantage of adhdThe last thing I want to do is use adhd as an excuse for my short comings. I’m trying my best to manage my adhd. I don’t appreciate when an app that markets itself to help people with adhd takes advantage of the people it claims to help. I only used it two or three times while it was free. Usually on apple you can find what you’re subscribed to in the “manage subscription” somehow you cannot find inflow’s subscription even if you paid with Apple Pay. I absolutely should have been more careful. Because of this I’ve been put off inflow. For those who want an app that can help with adhd make sure you’re make sure you’re good at managing your emails. Inflow will send you promotional emails even after they charge you the full amount..Version: 2.6.8

How much will this actually cost?Add my voice to the chorus pointing out how predatory it is to entice those who struggle with organization into an expensive subscription before they can even try out the app... but, more interesting to me, check out the prices mentioned in the older reviews. "It's $40 a year!" ..."I can't believe it's $96 a year!" Right now the price they're offering me is up to $199 a year. If you do subscribe, who knows what higher price it's going to renew at? They can reply all they want about how hard-working their developers are and how terrific this service is, but they're making money by targeting the very audience that's going to struggle to jump through their cancellation hoops (and if the other reviews here are any indication, you'll find that the information behind the subscription is pretty common and easily available for free elsewhere)..Version: 1.8.4

Why payed?Understanding ADHD should not cost money..Version: 2.7.7

Probably best for newly diagnosedI was really excited to try this app as I’ve been having some serious struggles getting back into a rhythm post-pandemic. Based on the description I had thought this app would help on organization, creating structure, accountability, and inspiration/motivation as an ADHD specific planner tool…. But it’s more like an info resource to learn about ADHD and your own presentation or challenges. Definitely has some interesting content and provides a good summary of everything available on the web/in books without having to wade through the junk on your own. The included coaching is pretty basic and was not useful for me, I found the check-ins to be circular questions that became frustrating and annoying so I ignored that feature after 3 months. Didn’t try the one-on-one virtual coaching due to cost, it’s was more expensive than the IRL coaching I’ve done. Live events are all scheduled during my work hours, but replays and transcripts are available. Interesting content and some good discussions, again most likely beneficial for people recently diagnosed. Overall, best for people diagnosed within 1-2 years looking for information. Recommend changing the description from a ‘managing’ ADHD app to an ‘educational’ ADHD app..Version: 2.0.8

Rip offWon’t even let you start without a 7 day trial and then charges £50 a month!!! Absolute rip off..Version: 1.9.7

Ridiculously expensive£33 a month is just too much.Version: 2.6.0

Beware of the payment trapI didn’t find this app particularly useful although I will not say it is bad just that it did not personally help me. What is clear is that they will charge you USD$200 after 7 days of signing up which is insane. Luckily I ended my subscription immediately when I worked this out but I feel like it is not particularly transparent and also not very easy to work out how to do it. Beware of the trap, they say they will refund it if you don’t like the app which is great but I wouldn’t risk it if I were you..Version: 2.8.2

ShadyI downloaded this app, it looked great. I have them details and set it up. It then came up explaining that you only get 7 days free, then it charges after the 7th day. Ok sure. But it doesn’t even tell you how much it charges. Only had the option at the bottom to click saying ‘I’m in’. So I deleted it! How they not even tell you how much it’ll much it’ll cost before hitting ‘I’m in’ ???.Version: 1.8.6

Too expensive!Won’t bother with the free trial..Version: 1.7.4

Need longer than a week trialI definitely wish it were longer than a 1 week trial. It even tells you to try it for 2 weeks. And of course, I can’t remember where exactly it says that-shocker. I haven’t even gotten a full week of use bc I haven’t been able use it everyday. I have two baby boys, 1 and 2 1/2 years old. I don’t have a lot of free time with my phone. A few things I’ve read or learned in the app have been enlightening and helped some. But I can’t do every step of every module AND put everything that I’ve attempted to learn into practice in one week. The usage I’ve gotten has given me just enough to wish I could explore it a little longer but not even close to enough to pay that much for it. There are so many areas I haven’t had a chance to explore yet. I really appreciate what y’all are trying to do. And I understand the price is for the real life coach and all the tools and resources. But I definitely need longer than a week to determine if I want to commit to paying that price. I was really hopeful for this bc Im loosing my mind a little bit lately. 😳.Version: 1.7.10

Forgot to cancel my free trialI don’t think it’s great that an app targeted towards people with ADHD should use the predatory pricing model of free trials, as I’m sure the developers are aware that people with ADHD often lose quite a bit of money unintentionally this way. Instead, I’d suggest letting users try a small amount of the app’s content for free before prompting them to decide whether or not they want to opt in to the paid content..Version: 1.7.3

Automatic payment systemExtremely inappropriate, exploitative, and predatory payment system specifically designed to trick people with ADHD and other mental disorders into spending money..Version: 1.9.7

Interesting But…I’m ADHD male over 30. I thought this app would help me. It does/did not. In a lot of places the program wasn’t up to speed and “kinks were being worked out”. I’ve read a lot of books and web entries about this subject and that’s basically what I found in this “program”. Different things work for different people so there may be a lot of people that find this most awesome. I’m happy for them truly. I found it to be an overpriced rehashing of a lot info you can stumble across on the web. The texting of someone is an interesting side but is it really a person? Who knows? It was not worth the money but that’s on me..Version: 2.8.2

They won’t stop charging me!!!I did the trial but cancelled. They charged me anyway then I emailed and they gave me refund and said they cancelled the subscription, and they’ve charged me again. I’ve deleted app have no sign of subscription on my phone … idk how to stop them from charging me every month?.Version: 2.8.3

SubscriptionI’m sure this is a great app but it isn’t for me. Why I am giving a 1 star review is because of the free trial and subscription. I do the free trials to see what the app is like I try to cancel as soon as I sign up as I will forget to cancel. I went to do this with this app and was not going to get the free trial. I was assured that I would get an email prior to the subscription being renewed but this did not happen. For an app that deals with ADHD and is supposed to be really good this is not a good practice as we do not remember to do this. I didn’t not get an email and I was charged today a lot of money for something I will not use. I really hope it gets reversed asap..Version: 2.6.0

ScamApp wasn’t for me. Tried to find out if I was signed up for a trial and couldn’t see anything in the app about it. Checked my apple subscriptions and nothing was there so I assumed I wasn’t subscribed. Couldn’t unsubscribe because it’s not even in my subscriptions. Deleted the app right away and still charged. Will be reporting to fair trading if I don’t get my money back. Ridiculous app model..Version: 2.6.4

It’s good, but not what I expectedI’m going through a really hard period of struggle to focus and doing tasks. And even tho this app has the tools to help you with that, it’s not too friendly with the extreme struggle to read something that you may not be interested or you may but can’t find enough energy or willingness to do. I was gonna cancel my subscription because I had 48 hrs left of my free trial BUT IT WAS SO HARD TO FIND WHERE TO DO IT, as I didn’t find it, I got distracted by something and you know, to my brain a already started doing it so it was off of my to do list. Sadly it was only when i got the notification of my bank account that i remembered that I couldn’t find where to unsubscribe, therefore they charged my for a month, almost $50 bucks that I really needed it and I’m not even use in this app. I’ll strongly suggest to have the unsubscribe bottom right in the settings of the app and not only in the website, especially if you know that your customers struggle with adhd..Version: 2.8.3

Not helpful at allGoing in, I expected this app to try and support my short attention span, improve my focus and generally help with my symptoms of adhd. The layout of the login process was not clear at all, complicated, hard to navigate and time consuming. The app does not let you in unless you commit to a 7 days free trial, at the end which the app will automatically start charging you if you forget to cancel. They do say that they’ll refund you if you forget to cancel, but as with a lot of other apps, verifying such things can be incredibly time consuming and complicated, not something that people with adhd need to deal with. Please devs, if you actually want to help people like myself at all, change the login process! I deleted this app pretty soon after getting it and will not be redownloading..Version: 1.8.7

Not sureI tried out the trial period. Since it is based on daily learning the trial isn’t long enough to know if this is something that would actually help you. Plus with having adhd I only got to day 3 so no real progress. The three lessons I did review were enlightening but didn’t really provide much action items to go forward with. I would continue to try this out on a limited offering if one was available but the app wants you to either pay $200 outright for the year or $50 month which is STEAP. You can market that it’s cheaper than a single session all you want but insurance covers that for most people and that attention is truely more one on one and devoted to diving deeper into your issues where this is surface level..Version: 2.2.7

Misleading. At first glance this app looks great. A free app with great reviews, for people with ADHD that are trying to get their lives in order. During onboarding I get to tell you about myself and choose how I’d like to be supported. After setting up an account I’m presented with a screen telling me that nothing is free. Nothing can be tried and no help is available –unless I agree to spend as much as £25. Every month! It can’t be dismissed and I have no way of removing my account. This is the most misleading and underhand of approaches. After such high hopes it seems only those that have plenty of disposable income get help. Find out how much people can really afford to pay. A private diagnosis and titration (given overstretched and under commissioned NHS services) costs around £1000. An extra £300/year for this app (on top of prescription costs) is exclusive, discriminatory and desperately unfortunate. I’d like to remove my account, and all the answers I provided, from your systems..Version: 1.3.4

£199 for an App!Spent 10 minutes answering questions before you get to the part where they want to rob you.Version: 2.6.4

App could be a 5The app is a 5. But I missed the cost when I signed up for the free trial, now I wish i didn’t use it at all. Unfortunately, the adhd tax has factored heavily into my finances and it’s just not possible for me. If you can afford to, absolutely use this app, it will help so much..Version: 1.7.6

Tools may be useful but predatory subscription modelThey assure you that they won’t charge you before the trial is over but i got a notification from my bank that they tried charging my card 1 day before the trial was meant to end. when i logged into my account it said my free trial had ended and access was over but it gave me the option to sign up again. so i sent them an email asking them to make sure this was accurate and that the declined charge was a weird fluke. i’m still waiting to hear back from the support team, but today they tried charging my card again and this time it went through (not sure why the first charge didn’t?) - this is incredibly frustrating especially because i also received no push notifications or emails telling me my trial was ending. even though their checkout screen says they promise to remind you. also sidenote, i only did a module on the first day of my trial but the app congratulated me for keeping a 5 day streak so i think it uses inaccurate metrics to give you a little dopamine boost despite your actual app usage… which is unhelpful..Version: 2.8.2

Dodgy subscription modelThe app promises that it is easy to cancel free subscription and that you can even get a refund if you miss the date (which adhd-ers are likely to do). However, I’ve been charged and it isn’t listed in my subscriptions in order for me to cancel. The instructions on the email are of no help. Feels like they’re taking advantage of adhd weaknesses.Version: 2.8.2

Started trial cancelled it and still charged meThis app seems like it waffles along, started the trial and didn’t get as far as getting any help from it. A week is too short. I logged out and removed the app as advised and still charged. No where in the app can you cancel the payment. It’s seems really easy to install and take your money but really difficult to stop the subscription. It’s a con. Please refund me. For anyone who needs help in the uk, you can get free government funding for an adhd coach. If you know your adhd type and a decent amount about your it, I found gpt chat is an efficient aid to build a plan. It’s not perfect but it’s free and much much faster than inflow..Version: 2.8.2

ScamwareWill ask you personal questions and only then reveal that they want $25 a month..Version: 2.7.4

Awful ADHD helperYou know, in today’s ultra-monetized world, it’s hard to find something not tainted by the poison of mobile phone ads and useless currency. But to make me pay for my mental health with an outrageous fee of $17 a month, is pure and utter evil. When the toxicity of capitalized greed was just for mobile games and social media, that was fine. But when it spreads to therapy and mental health helpers, that should raise a few questions. If Wall Street expects me to pay $17 a month for something I have no control over, I won’t. This app says too bad to the people who can’t afford it, but need the help, leaving them rummage around the App Store for the help they need. What fat cat billionaire thinks people will pay $17 a month for help with a mental problem?! This app is such proof that there is evil in the world, I’m surprised the app developer isn’t Satan himself. This is ridiculous, and I will not stand for it! Don’t get this app..Version: 2.7.6

SaddenedI was super happy with the app and I quite adored it. The price is absolutely ridiculous and unaffordable, I understand the work that goes into the app hence the price but it’s just the price is a huge deterrent towards the app and that is felt amongst many other people. It would be so much more better to have a no payment plan option with limited usage of the app like many other apps instead of forcing me onto a plan which I can in no way afford! What a shame, I really liked it..Version: 1.9.7

Was not very helpful for me.In the beginning it seemed like a good app but it was sooo much reading. For a lot of the “modules” the app reads the text for you but I felt very under-stimulated and no longer felt motivated after 2 days of just continuously reading and taking quizzes about what I read about over and over again. One thing I struggled with the most with ADHD is grade school and school settings and I noticed the trauma coming back of trying to keep up with readings and being tested on my “intelligence”. When I saw the add for this app, they had that AHDH friendly text advertised and I couldn’t figure out how to activate that feature. We also get personal coaches but mine flat out told me after just two days of using the app that she was going to be out of office for five whole days of my 7 day free trial. The feedback they were giving me also was not helpful as they only replied with validations that my feelings mattered rather than providing quality advice. My experience was very poor on my end unfortunately..Version: 2.4.0

Can’t cancel at all!So unimpressed. An app that preys on neurodivergent people, and rips them off. I started a free trial, but now I’ve had to move all my money out of my bank account as they are now trying to take money for a subscription I don’t want. Can I cancel said subscription? Nope! Essentially this is designed so are forced to at least pay them one months subscription. I’ve tried to follow their instructions to cancel but am unable to. It basically impossible to cancel. Why am I cancelling? My so called “coach”, hasn’t been bothered to read my notes properly. Doesn’t fill me confidence, and made me feel not so good. Waste of time, and my god I wish they’d stop trying to take my money..Version: 2.6.4

TrishI do not recommend this product . I am trying to cancel my subscription and it hasn’t worked , very difficult to navigate ..Version: 2.8.2

The Carrot and The StickThe Carrot Manage your ADHD in 5 minutes a day The Stick Too expensive without a decent look behind the curtain first, and by decent I mean longer than 7 days. I am the father of a family of 4, all of us have ADHD. It's crazy in my house and we all have different needs. I can't afford 4 accounts to keep us all sane. The numbers just don't stack up. Speaking of which is it $33/mth USD or AUD? I have no way of knowing? And if you multiply that by x4 it blows out to a massive USD $132/mth or AUD $185/mth for my family, either way NOT A CHANCE I would pay for either. Sorry. This app could be useful, if I knew more about what it actually does up front. Give users a bigger carrot and you're more likely to get my money. I totally understand you have a team of BA's, QA's, Engineers, UX, UI etc to pay for but sadly your trial is too short and the price point is too high. I have deleted my account. So here's a User Story for you to take back to your team: As a... parent and family with ADHD I want... a better opportunity to see the benefits of the app with affordable access So that... my family's ADHD can be managed better together All the best.Version: 1.7.1

Not greatI missed that this was subscription only - it would be good to have a free basis version to trial this for longer than a week. As someone who find it difficult to build habits, I wouldn’t be confident after a week that I would stick to using this. However, maybe more irritating, despite removing my account, I am still getting some very uninspiring quotes pop up. “Be like a pearl. Embrace the irritation.” Not the motivation I was looking for..Version: 1.7.4

An hour in and I’m ready to cryThere are many issues with this app right from the start. They create roadblock after roadblock that any neurotypical would be able to navigate with ease but for us neurospicy individuals it’s like walking over hot coals, while trying to carry a car, In a crowded room with everyone talking. LOUD. Once you have downloaded the app you have to go through the signup process and there we reach the first roadblock. I have to pick a username, out of thin air, with no context of how it will be used. The app won’t let you continue without picking one, they won’t assign a random one for you, you have to create one. Without any limits or rules displayed. If you make it past this point (which took me nearly 15 minutes) you then have to agree to either a yearly billing or monthly billing. And yes I know they say there is a 7 day free trial and also if you forget to cancel they will refund you but do they not release we have RSD. Just the idea in our own heads that we may be rejected for a refund will make us not ask for it. Yes I know they guarantee it no questions asked but we still think it’ll get rejected (that’s why it’s a dysphoria). Another thing you think they would understand since the creators claim to have ADHD themselves. Moving in from that and this was the last straw for me. To be able to do anything in the app you HAVE to watch a video of a guy talking to you. NO NO NO NO NO. I immediately shut the app down and uninstalled it. To say this app is supposed to have been created by neurodivergent developers it’s my absolute nightmare and looking at other reviews I’m not the only one..Version: 2.4.0

Helpful but overpriced. There are a lot of great articles and suggestions on self reflection and how to change your thought processes. However, in 3 out if the 7 days fir the trial, I have heard from my “therapist” once. There is a pretty picture but the “therapists” single message was auto bot quality. The company claims it’s so expensive because we have access to these therapists. Maybe they are helpful but 7 days is not enough time to find out. So. I will not be continuing after my free trial because I don’t see enough here to justify the cost. My suggestion for the developers is to have the following on top of the current program. A free version where you can only work on 1 unit in 1 section a day. (There are five different sections with multiple units and I am working on 2 at a time) without access to the therapist. Two a less expensive version where we have access to everything except the therapists. This way people can use the program to get help despite their financial situation..Version: 2.1.0

Don't be fooled like I was. Before downloading to try it out there was a pop up stating that if anything happened and I forgot to cancel before the free trial was over, I would be refunded. It said something like, 'We understand having ADHD would make this really hard to remember, so we will refund you if you forget.' -- something to that effect. That is what pushed me into downloading. Of course I forgot to cancel the trial and it automatically signed me up for a yearlong subscription ($200). I reached out to support and mentioned the pop-up, casually saying thank you for the refund policy. In response the person told me I need to reach out to Apple first to ask for a refund. I'm currently waiting to hear back from Apple. THEN they will refund you only after you have received a no from Apple first. But here's the point. The company tries to imply upfront that they have a lenient refund policy BECAUSE they help people with ADHD. Instead, they make you go through the process of asking for a refund from Apple, which for someone with ADHD is another obstacle. What a sham! I went through with it because I was so enraged by the deceit but I know many others won't, and that they make money off this. Shameful..Version: 1.7.10

I can’t afford to be a better meI was diagnosed at a very young age, but my parents hid it from me for 30 years. I often wondered why I have never been able to focus at school or work, often get overwhelmed by chores or tasks other people seem to complete without even thinking about it… I was hoping this app would be a guide to help me improve the areas I struggle with most. I’m sick of always getting passed over for promotions and opportunities because I lack the skills my neuro-typical peers don’t have to pay $200/year to learn. I don’t have the budget flexibility that allows me to justify such a hefty fee every year just to try to level the playing field, but I still decided to give the free trial a go. So far I haven’t seen anything really helpful that made me think this app could be worth such a hefty fee, so I cancelled my subscription ASAP and plan to poke around on it for the remainder of my free trial. Maybe I can find something useful, but so far I’m not seeing anything that would make this app worth so much. I have lots of useful apps that help improve my life in different ways. All of which manage to keep their costs well under $75/year. Why does an app with such philanthropic claims have such a large price tag? Is this like the Hermès of self-improvement apps or something?.Version: 1.7.6

Apple App Store is a scam!Apple is complicit in allowing companies to scam us, take our personal data before advising on costs or terms of service before offering all your information! Seems a tad illegal to me. Imagine going into a store and having to provide all this information before knowing the price and product when buying some bread. Preying on people with ADHD is a joke. Nowhere can you find the billing and pricing information without being stuffed around by this app. It might be good but from the reviews clearly is Neurodivergent people are here to help these companies profit. Back to the drawing board!.Version: 2.6.4

Pricing is deeply out of touchCharging $60 a month or $250 a year is absurd. Not in this economy. I’ll go buy a book thanks. Wild..Version: 2.8.2

Really liked this app… financial scholarshipI tried to sign up for a scholarship to receive a membership for a year and was put on the wait list. Eventually they got back to me but had me take a quiz to see if I could participate in their research study in exchange for the membership but unfortunately I didn’t qualify after the screening. The survey said I would still receive the scholarship even though I didn’t qualify within a few weeks or months time but I never heard back from them again even after I reached out to customer service which was pretty disappointing. The scholarship doesn’t include the assigned adhd coach which during the free trial was super helpful but I was willing to try just the regular membership to help with my adhd traits..Version: 2.7.7

Just another Expensive app you have to pay forI couldn’t even start the 7 day free trial to see if I at least liked it. I’m assuming cuz I don’t have $50-$200 in my account. If I got to test it out and liked it maybe I’d get that much money and try it but I can’t even test it. Not to mention the prices are pretty high. Why can’t we normalize health care apps, i.e. self-help, mental illness help, etc. , that are free or at least more affordable. There are more people out there who don’t have insurance and can’t afford to go see a doctor or specialist or whatever to get the help they need. This is a tool for people who already have doctors, psychologists, or specialists who think they could use a little help outside of sessions. Stop advertising and pushing apps so much if they really only are able to help certain people who have money..Version: 2.0.4

Design changes making this difficult to useI’m not sure why the developers are changing the layout to be less user friendly but for a person with adhd it’s making it very frustrating to use. When I first joined it had a clean, smart layout that was not triggering or overwhelming. In the last few months they have made changes that look sloppy and quite frankly don’t make sense. The layout is overwhelming now. I would have said this app has been helpful but now it’s frustrating which is the last thing I need or am going to pay for. I won’t be using it anymore unless they fix their design. Dry disappointed as it’s been a good resource for me up to this point..Version: 2.2.7

MisleadingNot free at all.Version: 1.7.3

Can't cancel in appUnfortunately I have to rate it down owing to the fact you can't cancel in app or via the my app store profile. This adds extra steps which is fine for me but perhaps not others. Shame I didn't want to as I appericate the affordability scheme they provide. The information is okay but rather basic. I'm sure it may be good for others but not for me. On the plus it wasn't difficult to cancel but just not as easy as it could be. Hopefully this minor issue is solved as they clearly do care about their work. Can't say anything about the refunding part as I didn't have to use it but if it is as simple as they say. Well done to the team for not taking advantage of people..Version: 2.8.2

OVER PRICEDI need an app to manage my ADHD and the struggle of dealing with ADHD is still one of my biggest issues, all I need is an app that can help and 124.99 per year just seems like to much for an app that is supposed to help people. Why are we paying so much for things like this.Version: 1.5.3

Not particularly helpfulI was hoping for something that could help me overcome my ADHD issues, however the advice and information given was very basic, I have already implemented most of the strategies given and most of them don’t work for me particularly well, there was no alternatives, the advice seems to use the reward theory a lot, but this isn’t helpful if you are not a person who responds to ‘rewards’ and gets no motivation from them. The multi choice questions aren’t particularly multi choice, I regularly found that none of the options described my feelings or situation, all in all I just got more irritated and frustrated the more I tried to work thru the modules. I wouldn’t mind paying for this if it would help in any way but for me there was nothing particularly helpful..Version: 2.7.4
