Finch: Self Care Pet for Positive User Reviews

Love itHad this game for about 5 hours and I’ve loved every second of it. It motivates me to do stuff I wouldn’t normally do please keep up the good work this game is amazing.Version: 3.68.0

Wonderful! This app is great, it has helped me immensely with developing healthy habits, and the idea of helping your little bird motivates you on days where just helping yourself isn’t motivation enough! my only critique is that the ability to look through upcoming days has been taken away. please bring this back, I enjoyed being able to swipe through and have a visual aid of what my upcoming week will look like! and it was good as we could add things happening in future, which helped as I forget things easily 😂 otherwise thank you for this great app!.Version: 3.12.0

Amazing!!!I love this app so much, it’s helped me a lot with being more organised, clean, and happy in general. Everyday I fill in the goals I’ve completed and if there’s any I haven’t done, i go through and do them one by one. These tasks include of: Put away one thing that’s not in its place, make your bed, brush your hair, complete a breathing exercise, step outside for 1 minute, and so much more. I have the finch widget on my home screen which allows you to check up on your Birb. Every day, Muffin (the name of my Birb) goes on an 8 hour long adventure. You can shorten the time they are away for by completing your goals, doing breathing exercises, yoga, reflect on your day etc. As you meet your goals daily your Birb will grow. Mine is currently 1.5cm tall and is almost a toddler. I recommend this app if you are struggling with mental health, or even just want to be more organised and healthy. :).Version: 3.55.3

Life ChangingFinch is the best self-care app out there. Especially for people suffering with mental health related problems and ADHD etc. I suffer with depression, anxiety, PTSD, emetephobia and likely ADHD (it’s a long diagnosis progress). Routines have never been achievable, in any form; reflections, building healthy habits etc. Finch ENSURES I check in with my brain daily. Evaluate my feelings, keep track of what is making me happy and sad, build healthy habits etc. Since downloading the app I have started going to the gym consistently, I’m eating healthier and keeping track of my mood. All because of a cute little bird. Because of my mental health problems, I haven’t cared much for my own happiness. However, a little bird? Who needs me? He has forced me to care for myself so I can care for him. I don’t think he has ever missed a daily adventure as a result of me completing my tasks, even if it isn’t all of them. And to whoever made this app, you genuinely have helped to change my life. I whole heartedly thank you for that. I told myself if I keep up with Finch daily for 6 months I will buy myself the full version (if I can afford it). But that’s the beauty of it, the free version is still good enough. Yet there are aspects of the app I wish I could use because if the free version is great what will the full version help me achieve? Thankyou, whole heartedly. Emmie & Yoshi (my finch).Version: 3.24.2

Love this appReally helps my mental health.Version: 3.68.1

So beautiful and helpful for someone who did now know they needed helpI have been in a rut lately and have no focus and have been struggling to do things and be positive. I’m stuck at home a lot, don’t have many friends to see during the day because I live far from them, I have a lot of hw to do and I work and especially the hw part I keep forgetting to do it or having motivation. Having adhd doesn’t help that either. The other day I forogt I had an important quiz to take and was so upset with myself. I have just been feeling frustrated lately. I also don’t talk about how I am feeling I’ve never been that person. So when I got this app and I saw there is places to reflect and write about things I would normally keep to myself made me feel a lot better than I thought. The little bird I named caju which means cashew is so cute and makes me want to keep doing my goals and keep reflecting on myself. It made me realize I need to keep myself happy and calm and that everything will be good. This app has helped me see my goals and want to complete them. One of my goals was as simple as”drink more water” and I actually did it because it made caju come back from exploring 😂. I love how many things there are that don’t make you feel pressured to do them, it is just there to help🥰🥰🥰🥰.Version: 3.2.0

IdeasRight, so I love this app and it’s really good at making me care for myself because I want to energise my bird, however I have a few suggestions that could make the game even better: 1. Make it so you can gift items to your friends on the app. I think this would be so cool especially if you are waiting for a specific item do ages and if it finally came up on a friends account you could have it. 2. If I energise my bird for the scheduled wake up time, I’ll still get a notification that she’s just woken up at that time. This is pretty weird as I already know that she’s awake and it doesn’t make much sense to tell me she’s just woken up later. 3. I love the events however if you’re not a plus user most of what you get is furniture. I understand that there has to be a bit of a difference between the two modes, however it would be nice to get less than just hundreds of doors and carpets..Version: 3.41.0

Great app for self careThis is genuinely an excellent app for people struggling with self care (for various reasons, prominently depression and ADHD), it motivates you to complete your goals with the most adorable little bird (whose colours and pronouns you can choose!) You can adjust the app according to your bedtime, and each time you open the app, it asks for your mood and respectively the app will give you different features (such as exercises and affirmations for the morning, breathing techniques for a better sleep at night, rant when your mood is bad, write positive thoughts when you’re happy, so on) and also has different features to help you feel grounded in case of a panic attack or an anxiety attack. there’s a variety of ways to regulate your emotions, including exercises and journaling your thoughts accordingly. of course, there are in app purchases but the paid features are less than half of the features and they don’t really interfere with your process of using the app, it’s definitely just to support the app. overall, great app, fully recommend to anyone struggling with self care. also, to the devs, would definitely recommend allowing users to customise their pronouns, mainly for people who use a mix of pronouns and others who use neopronouns! other than that, great app..Version: 3.37.0

I adore this app + a suggestion!Hi there! I adore this app so much. My partner recently suggested it to me, as I often struggle to keep even a diary for my thoughts, but this app has somehow got me wanting to make sure I keep up with it every day?? Thankyou for creating this masterpiece of an app! You’re helping more people than you realise 💗 I’d also like to suggest a small feature! If possible, would you be able to add some sort of ‘bookmark’ or ‘wishlist’ for each store? Or even a universal one (can be accessed from either store and shows all saved items)? I feel it’d help a lot of people, as i know a lot of people feel calmer when they are able to list down or have an area to save everything they’d like to save up their rainbow stones for! I hope this helps, and thankyou again for making such a useful emotional outlet for me and many others 💗💗💗.Version: 3.29.2

A suggestion!I LOVE this app. I just have one thing to suggest, perhaps a way to earn gems faster? Such as self care games or some sort of trivia section where you can ask your pets more about the world than just once a day. I would really like to get to know more about my pet/help her get to know herself better and trivia games where you can earn large amounts of gems and talk to your pet more would be a huge attention grabber for people. Personally the best part of the game is buying clothes for my pet, but unfortunately I never seem to be able to afford anything. I love this app and I want to see it reach its full potential. Thank you!.Version: 3.2.3

This app changed my lifeThis app has literally changed my life. I have wanted to put the work in to better myself for years but was never able to get the motivation for it (it’s often very hard to get motivated to do stuff because I have adhd) I saw an add for this app not sure if it’d even help me out, but gave it a try. 123 days later and I still check in every day. I drink water daily, go outside, focus on positive things in my day even if it’s just one thing. Helping my little friend (their name is Poki) grow and learn new things has been the best motivator for doing things that I often have trouble with. My mood has improved, I’m getting chores done around the house, I went to the doctor for the first time in years. There’s always something new and it rewards you for completing your goal and doesn’t penalize you if you don’t complete all of your daily goals. It’s exciting to come back each day and see what new things your pet will learn and getting to watch them try new things and travel. I log on every day not because I have to but because it’s something that I want to do. I am forever grateful for this app and all it has done for me. I look forward to how much farther it’ll take me. If you are debating getting this app and giving it a try I highly recommend it. Good luck on your self care journey from Poki and myself..Version: 3.34.2

Finch Support 💜I’ve been able to share Finch with some friends and have something that makes me check in on myself, something I neglect to do more often than not. I’ve already subscribed to the Plus plan, but I think it’s important to note that it’s not necessary to have the Plus in order to get those self-reflection tools that neuro-divergent people so often forget or let fall to the wayside. The SOS features are incredibly helpful, in addition to creating the small goals for yourself that you can find being necessary but giving you a sense of accomplishment. I can say that I have been able to be more conscious of my actions and feelings using Winston (my Finch) and I’ve even been able to use Winston to help me talk to others about my feelings and actions, because I want to show my Finch off! This is the first app I’ve stuck with to help my mental state and it’s been amazing. The developers are responsive to any questions and/or concerns, which is incredible. In the future, I would like to see a feature where we can share our data in a report format via a doc (without any identifying PHI, of course) with someone - my therapist would love to see the progress I am making since we don’t meet in person very often because of the pandemic. If I could send her reports via a doc in an email it would be a wonderful addition to the app!.Version: 3.0.0

AMAZING-why didn't I get it sooner?!?I have been struggling with anxiety and depression, and my sister told me to get this app. When I did, I was amazed how motivated I was to do my goals. With my little finch I named Burp, we conquer anything and they help me stick to my goals. Yes, it's only been 12 days, but my friends are noticing a difference in how I act and how motivated I am. I told them my secret and together, someday, sometime, we are going to conquer the world!! But in the meantime, picked up saxophone again, and am taking lessons! This app is life-changing and also really cute! The graphics are clean and fun that always seems to pick my mood up and remember there is a world of happy and cute things. This app should deserve nothing but a 5-star review and some happy cheepers. I do have one complaint. Yes, my phone is old (it serves me just fine), but the app still glitches across my screen. (Ex: I go from the shop to my main page) None of the other apps on my phone do this, so I think it is the app thats doing it, but am not sure. I understand if you cannot fix this, and it is not really that important, but it would be nice not to have a glitchy app. That's it!! Thank you to all the Gardians, who got me a free premium plus trial-you really helped me stay focused in the first 3-4 days. XOXO, Auntie Em.Version: 3.67.12

Watch app?I really love this app, it’s cute and also helps me keep track daily activities and also make good habits. I’m currently trying to make my finch look like one of my fav characters and it just give me the extra motivation to grind out some more things. But one thing I would really like to see is a watch app so that I can add stuff on the go from my watch as sometimes I don’t have the time to bring my phone out so just tapping my Apple Watch is the best option. TLDR: Love the app, is helping make grate habits and love having the customisation of my finch and the only change I would make is to add a watch app for more ease to click on completed tasks.Version: 3.11.0

Finch plusI love it. So much fun. I have so much to learn. I am only on day three I am hoping to share it with some friends who are not on Finch and then we can communicate with a Little birds it takes a little while to get used to it. I want the regular Finch care Inc. I clicked on Finch plus so I don’t know how to get rid of Finch plus and add Finch car inc. Other than than that I’m quite happy.Version: 3.15.1

Finch is AMAZINGFinch is basically my favourite app on my tablet and I’ve got LOADS of apps and games on there. My little finch Sam is so cute and I love her sooo much. This app is so cute and fun; Nothing like I’ve seen before. It helps me finish tasks I need to do daily and I really enjoy buying Sam clothes and furniture with my rainbow stones which also encourages me to do my tasks more since they give me rainbow stones. Ever since my friend recommended it to me I’ve played on it almost EVERY SINGLE DAY. I’m getting my micro pet tomorrow and I’m really excited to get it😆! Also the app’s design is so cute it made me want to explode. Anyone with anxiety like me will love this app. Not to mention that it’s rated 4.9 stars! So other reviews will make that make sense. One other thing is they respect not just boys and girls, but TRANSGENDERS TOO! You can ligitamatly get a transgender finch. For all these reasons, this game made me wanna cry happy tears 😭. It’s the best app ever if you wanna have a happy, healthy and productive mindset..Version: 3.61.0

Perfect is the only way I describe this app.Well it all started when the doctor told me I needed a therapist but my dad lost his job so we couldn’t afford it. That’s when my friend introduced me to finch. I thought it was so silly because I did not believe an app could help me. But literally y’all must’ve don’t some witch stuff cause this app literally works. I love every single feature. The reflections are so fun and I love that it gives writing prompts (but you can just free write too!) I love being able to buy cloths for my finch moss. I love that moss’s personality grows on each adventure and how he can like things and dislike things. The app is just so intelligent! I gotta tell you I think my favorite thing is the soundscapes. They are basically just white noise but different because you can choose how long you want it to go for and they have so many fun noises. I also tried the finch plus free trial and I think that the creators were really reasonable about what you needed finch plus for or what not. You can listen to soundscapes without finch plus but you can’t listen to the mixes. That’s very reasonable to me. And I love the timers. Without timers and soundscapes I would never be able to focus. I just adore this app so much. I can wait to see what it’s like when I’m guardian. This app makes me so happy. I still probably need a therapist but I’ve really learned to love myself from this app. Thank you finch team! - a person made happier because if finch.Version: 3.23.3

Helps with ADHDAn absolute game changer. So well thought out I love it.Version: 3.36.5

This actually does workI signed up for the free trial of premium and forgot to cancel it before it charged me $40 for the yearly subscription at the end of the week, and honestly I’m not even mad. I have tried countless self-help apps, read books about it, gotten physical notebooks, made lists, calendars… I can safely say I have tried everything. I saw this app on TikTok and figured I’d give it a try because it looked like a unique twist on another self-help app, but didn’t expect to use it for more than a week. Some days I don’t use it, but they’re few and far between. I love that I can make as many goals for myself as I need, and there’s no ‘penalty’ for not meeting them but there’s a higher reward for completing them the more often I do. It’s silly to think all I needed was the motivation to get fake currency and decorate a fake birds fake house, but it really works. I have all reminders turned off because I hate having too many notifications, but I’ll get a notification once in awhile that just says something like “I believe in you, cheep” or “you’re doing great” and I just love it. Couldn’t recommend this app more to anyone who needs a self-help app, or is just bad about getting through their to-do list. I never write reviews, but this app really deserves it..Version: 3.48.0

Genuinely the bestI’ve been using Finch for over a year now and I can genuinely say my little bird has gotten me through a lot. Taking care of yourself to take care of a little birb baby works so so well, I love seeing her go on adventures and learn new things and grow, I love buying her new clothes and furniture, it gives me a reason to make my bed and brush my teeth on days when I just want to hide away. When my grandpa passed away I struggled a lot and it only took a couple of days before the app recommended me grief exercises/prompts everyday. It was really strangely comforting to have some recognition that every single day was hard and full of grief when so many people just moved on and expected me to as well. It really helped me process things a lot better too. Couldn’t be more thankful to the team who made this app, you guys have made such a huge difference to my life..Version: 3.51.1

I love this so much, totally recommend!!!!!!!This app has really helped me better myself every day and it is so relaxing to just go home, get my chores done, and hang out with my baby(now toddler) finch and talk about my day, i also love the little notifications the app sends you saying things like baby *blank* supports you it always makes my day. My friend who does not have an apple phone has this app and can still have the widget which I think is cool. I also love the soundscapes, and i love all the cute little outfits and stories you can do with yours finch and how it will send you a notification in the morning saying baby *blank* is awake and ready to see you, it really encourages me to get out of bed and complete my goals to energize my finch for their daily adventure. OH! And the tree town, you can add your friends and family to the app and add them to your tree town and send them little messages and if you talk about specific people or things it will keep track of that and help you realize “are these things positive or negative in my life?” I also like the little quotes and the little questions you get asked when you open the app, but i do wish that i would not have too pay to get access to things, id honestly rather have adds if that’s what it takes. But other then that I absolute LOVE this app so much!.Version: 3.3.2

Best journaling and self-care app on the App StoreAs a teenager going through the difficulties of high school, mental health has been a prominent struggle in my life. Because of that, I have tried various journaling and self-care apps only to find most of them either had the majority of their features locked behind paywalls or didn’t contain anything that could help me deal with stress as a student. It effectively rendered those apps unusable unless I paid a large amount of money—something I was not willing to do. However, I came across Finch on the App Store. I saw the 5-star rating, and decided to install it to check it out. It seemed like a new app because of all the bugs, but it still got the job done and I was expecting the app to be improved with updates. Needless to say, I was impressed. The app has everything from free journaling to reflecting to breathing exercises, things I was exactly looking for. The best part: a decent portion of it was not behind a paywall. I could still do the basic journaling prompts, answer test questions, and look at my weekly report for an analysis of my feelings. In essence, this app has the basic and important stuff down and for free for those like me who just want to journal and get their feelings out. I really hope the developers do not put any of this stuff behind the paywall..Version: 3.33.2

AmazingThis app is very helpful - helping to motivate me to get my daily chores done - looks good - with a range of collectible furniture and outfits for me to save points for. I’ve only been using it for a week now but I hope to keep at it. I also like all the self reflection tasks you can do! Improvements: -It can be a little difficult to make new tasks sometimes as for some reason they don’t show up sometimes or let you set the correct date but it’s been working most of the time. -setting and looking at all your tasks is also a little unintuitive. I wish that it was separated into daily, weekly, set dates. One so its easier to look through the ones you’ve already set instead of it being a massive list. Two because there doesn’t seem to be a way to say you need to do something once a week without setting a set day for it. But sometimes I can’t do that and just wanna get it done by the end of the week. -I would love a to-do section to set tasks that don’t have to be done on a set day but instead for a certain deadline or even just whenever. Mostly to remind me of things I want to do, but have it in the same app as my daily tasks cause at the minute I’m using multiple..Version: 3.34.3

I LOVE FINCHWow. just wow!! finch has absolutely changed the game for me - i am so much more motivated to look after myself and get things done that i’d usually put off. in fact, with finch, i’ve been doing things that aren’t necessarily urgent but have made life so much easier and fun! i’ve been given lots of ideas for stuff to do as well - in terms of self care, exercise, connecting and caring for family and friends, work/study, and much much more!! i absolutely love finch and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!! also - i love my guardian angel, thank you so so so much ❤️.Version: 3.49.1

I recommend this app to literally everyoneThe day i got this app, i forced ALL of my friends to download it so we could all be finch buddies. and now i can send all of my friends good vibes whenever i want. not only can i have a cute companion, but i also get amazing mental health support. i’ve been struggling for a really long time, and download just about every app out there for mental health support. and this app has lasted longer than any other one, and i fully intent on keeping it. my mental health is so bad, i’m currently going through the process of getting a service dog. and i can 100% say this app is truly holding me over till i get that dog. and i will definitely be keeping the app when i get my dog. thank you to the creator <3 since downloading, i’ve gotten 12 of my friends to also download, and i plan on getting more. they also have been recommending it to their friends, all of which have also downloaded. it’s becoming something my friends all talk about causally though out the day, to the point where we’re getting random people asking us who “phil” and “tofu” are, and we tell them, and they download the app too. this is awesome! 10/10 recommend it! i named mine phil after philza minecraft! okay that’s all, have an amazing day, and ty again for creating such an amazing and useful app. not to be dramatic or anything, but this app is truly life saving. ty <3<3<3.Version: 3.3.2

Amazing App :]I absolutely love this app, it helps motivate me to do tasks, even very small ones, it helps me to get my words out and write down my thoughts and … BIRD! Cute animals make everything better. I love how you set your own tasks and can also set rewards ( like hatching a little pet) on any task, which could be productive or self care, as we all forget to take time for ourselves sometimes. Another feature I love is being able to be friends with people on there and can send each other motivation and love, it really helps me realise I’m not alone when I need it. I use the free version which is amazing and the app does not require payment to be a good app, as there are no adverts or anything, however I have a friend who has Finch+ and they love it and say it’s very worth it. :)) I have one suggestion, that you should be able to send gifts (items) to friends, as I see things my friends would like all the time and I feel as if it would help others to know that I’m thinking of them..Version: 3.55.8

Love this app! This is a great app! I herd of it from a friend and ever since I have been taking care of myself a lot better! My finch is so cute and helps me stay motivated for the day, it allows me to be proud of who I am and to focus on the things that really matter to me. I hope it does the same for other people as well. 💜.Version: 3.67.16

An absolute game changerAs an adult with ADHD I’ve always found a huge need for a routine in order to make sure I don’t forget important tasks. Finch has made tracking habits something I now look forward to. It also offers the ability to have a log of all of my moods, behaviours and goals all in one place - which is super convenient and user friendly. I’m so glad I found this app it’s made life a lot more manageable and I’ve managed to create a regular routine that I love whilst receiving regular positive encouragement in the cute form of my bird along the way..Version: 3.13.0

The greatest app everApp.Version: 3.14.1

Best Self Care App.. Seriously!I’ve tried a lot of self care Apps, and I mean A LOT and have quickly felt unmotivated and lost interest in every single one of them.. until Finch. This is the most customizable and rewarding self care app with goals and journeys that you can edit and cultivate specifically to match your needs and wants. Getting to see your finch grow and Learn about themselves is so much fun and makes me excited to check in every day and send my finch out on an adventure. I love being able to choose my little ones colors, and outfits, and decorate their home, which keeps me motivated to complete task and earn rainbow stones to buy more stuff! If you need a friend to get you through and keep you motivated then I 100% recommend Finch! Plus the 2 seasonal events I’ve gotten to participate in so far have been so cute and fun. Ps: There is a free and paid version and the free version is 100% functional and add free. You really only miss out on a few features but nothing that ruins the app not to have. The paid version opens up the remaining features like various reflections and quizzes and stuff. I had Finch for 1 month before I paid for a year because I love it so much ($40 I think for a year 🤔 can’t remember). Coming from someone who never leaves reviews on ANYTHING this app is worth the time and if you choose to pay it’s worth the money. Finch has seriously helped me change my outlook and is something I look forward to every day..Version: 3.32.4

Brilliantly constructed App!I suffer for depression and have for a lot of years. Medication helps but I didn’t want to be reliant on it. I have tried a few apps for mindfulness but couldn’t really engage with them and quickly gave up. This app gets you interested by looking after a widget finch. Each interaction stimulates and grows the finch and thus helps you. You energise your finch by doing mindfulness things in the morning and while you work your finch is off ‘travelling’ for 6 hours so if you don’t have time to interact during to day, don’t worry. The finch looks after it’s self! The app is packed full of mindfulness things and activities to help you cope with daily life. I particularly like the thought dump and rant zone notes, and the extensive selection of soundscapes that can run anything from 10mins to 8 hours. I use the breathing techniques if particularly stressed at work. I have been using the app since January and my finch has now grown to adult size. I actually enjoy interacting with her and I like the like pop up notifications that I get from the app throughout the day. I have felt less depressed as I have used the app and I think that it is well worth the money for the yearly subscription! Overall a very good app to get you to do mindfulness on a daily basis!.Version: 3.51.0

Great appThey don't force payments on you. The adds make sense and relate to the game. Finch is great and has helped me so much with getting through a tough time. If you like this game Amaru is very similar and equally great. Big fan and will continue to use this application. Such a good self help app, very cute and thought provoking. (:.Version: 3.64.5

Love this!I absolutely love this app! it’s so easy to do my daily tasks that i used to never motivated to do!!.Version: 3.63.3

Amazing!Finch is amazing! When I’m having a rough day, I’ll just go into finch and try to calm down!.Version: 3.66.11

CUTE AND HELPFUL!!!This app is so cute and helps me focus on self care, self love, self acceptance and a bunch of other good mental hygiene stuff! I have recommended this app to my counsellor, my friends and my Facebook acquaintances!!! I will definitely be buying the full app when I have the money! Thank you so much for making this app!!!.Version: 3.0.1

I love this app!!I’ve been using this app for a couple of weeks and absolutely LOVE it! It’s beautiful to look at, makes self care so simple and the angle of looking after yourself as you look after the finch is so fun, sweet and original! I’ve recommended it to several people already and will definitely be getting the premium version. I only have two criticisms! First off, I wish there were more features associated with looking after your finch - so far, it’s just the short chats when they’ve been adventuring and that you can pet them, which is a nice feature but it would be nice if there was a little more. Second, I wish your journal history was a little simpler to look through without having to tap back through it manually. Otherwise, I absolutely love it!!! It’s a brilliant app and much easier to keep up than some other daily self care apps. Thank you for developing something so lovely 💘🐦.Version: 3.3.1

For Real, this is amazingI don’t usually write reviews, but I can’t get over this app. My finch is named Chamomile and within 24 hours of downloading my best friend also got the game (via my request lol) and hers is named Kiku. We enjoyed the fact that you can add others to the tree without them having the app because it helps catalog people as people when writing reflections. It’s also helped with mental health and organization. There’s so much you can do even if you can’t afford plus which was something I was so worried about. I love the fact that there are recommendations on tasks because I do have a problem with ignoring self-care actions like positive affirmations or just taking a moment to breath and stretch. Plus, you can also add your own, self-typed tasks, so it’s not confining. It gives that extra little boost to be a functional person that you just need some days. It’s like having someone by your side saying “you can do it!” but instead it’s the cutest little bird in the world. And on top of that, the tree town interactions are great so that even though my bestie and I go to college in different states, I get to send her an extra bit of love and strength on those especially hard days. I love this app and I’m so lucky I found it! So much thanks to the devs, you guys are literally incredible 💖.Version: 3.2.0

KylaIt has helped me not be lazy and it is sooo fun.Version: 3.67.16

Really lovely.Enjoying this a lot. The amount of little things you can do is great. I was hoping to be able to contact the team for comments but a review will do. I like the new changes with adding friends but I don’t like the “see who’s visiting” pulsing bar. There should be a way to “dismiss” your friend and bring them back easily but I don’t need them walking with mine on an adventure each time or being on screen all the time and the see who’s visiting bar doesn’t go away unless you click it. This bar also cover up the adventure timer countdown unless it’s clicked. I don’t want to unlink the friend from the tree and link it back each time. Unless I’ve missed something! It would also be great if you could make it so we could “pet” our friends too. I’d love an option in settings to allow me to “pin” certain tasks to my section too so I didn’t have to shuffle them or wait for them to randomly appear..Version: 3.0.2

WowWow I have been happy every day! This app is great with no glitches and making you feel great!.Version: 3.52.0

Obsessed! This is my favourite habit tracker! I love getting different outfits for my finch and getting my friends to join so I can send them reminders to hydrate and tell them they’re loved. I’ve been able to introduce so many new healthy habits due to this app. Simple daily tasks that I’ve always struggled with. I’ve recently started using soundscapes for studying and it works so well. Hats off to the creators for always taking on feedback and providing such a great resource to increase the quality of life in so many. Highly recommend this app..Version: 3.45.0

Great for neurodiverse adults too!!A bunch of my friends (we're all neurodivergent in some form, and all 21+) have difficulty maintaining daily habits and getting even small stuff done without motivation. We've all found since using Finch that our general motivation is higher!! It has so many useful features and even the free version has so much it's super usable even without the paid content, which just seems like some extensions on the already wide capabilities it offers. It's cute, you can add your friends in order to help them out and send cute little acts of kindness, it has some really handy tools like soundscapes, stretching and breathing exercises, and depression/anxiety tracking, and it's super intuitive to use, so even though I've only been using it a few days, I can see myself using it far into the future!! The ability to block certain tags is super handy to keep triggering suggestions out also, it's not something you see often, and it's not super demanding and annoying like a lot of habit tracking apps <3 TLDR: great, easy app, with heaps of free content and really hard working devs. Stuff is constantly in the works and it's all useful features! Sensitive to topics other tracking apps aren't, and really handy with general mental health tools..Version: 3.4.0

Really cute and helpful gameI downloaded Finch and was a little skeptical about it - I’ve downloaded plenty of self-care apps but I’ve struggled to check it and stick to what my goals are. But Finch has been really helpful! The fact that it’s cute and motivating is great in itself, but there’s so much you can do without needing to subscribe, which I’m not able to do currently. I’m so glad that so much is available for people like me, with a ‘first aid’ button for if you need immediate relief from anxiety or any intense situations is amazing. It’s helped me with goals, become an app I look forward to using, and is just so soothing overall. TL/DR: An amazing app which is great for anyone who struggles with motivation and mental health issues, but can help you even if you’re doing absolutely fine and need some appreciation :).Version: 3.21.0

Super Comforting!Makes Me feel Nice And warm Inside,Love It!.Version: 3.8.0

So good!!🩷This app is amazing, especially for anxiety I struggle with anxiety and a bit of depression this reminds me to do daily things most people do! Like: brushing your teeth, having a shower, going to bed, making your bed and more! And I think that’s so helpful for me and my friends :) I love how you can also hatch a egg by making sure u do tasks which will increase the level of the egg which is sooo cool :D I also love hanging out with my friends on finch by asking them to hang out at my treehouse which is so cute. I love how also you can go on adventures with your friends and collect daily rewards it’s really fun! And also being able to buy clothes for your bird and creating new outfits as you play one thing I think the finch creator should add is a way you can walk around in a bird town with all different people playing finch this way you can make new friends and add people to your town!💕 I love this game thats why I gave it a 5 star so If you read this I think you should definitely download this 👍🏻.Version: 3.68.1

I love the app, but.I’ve been using Finch for a bit over a year now, starting on my old phone. The app is great, and has helped me a lot with motivation and my mental health getting better through multiple facility’s that I’ve had to go to. Everything about this app is wonderful, from the editable habits, to the graphic design which I LOVE. The one thing that I’m not liking is that you now have to buy the membership to buy certain clothes and furniture. This wasn’t a feature when I had first started using, but now it is and I just don’t really understand why. On my old account I had Finch+, and had bought it when it was around $2.99 a month. My old account is still taking money out of my account, and I have no way to stop this from happening because it wouldn’t let me log into that account with my email, and that old phone’s touch doesn’t work anymore, meaning that I can’t go onto the phone and cancel it manually. I love the app but those two things, though mainly the first, are starting to annoy me a bit. It’s been taking my money since May or June, and I haven’t been able to stop it. I would honestly buy the membership now, but the fact that it’s still taking money from that other account is the main thing stopping me..Version: 3.67.2

Amazing🤷‍♀️I’ve had this app for 30 days now and I think it’s helped me keep track of what I need to do and what I’m doing. It also helps me get stuff done an also helps me with getting stuff done and ready for the day. It’s really easy to use honestly, and it’s cute how the finch grows close every time to grow up. I like the way you can customise your finch later on while having it, you can decide the colours, the clothing and it’s really fun. You can also buy clothing for the finch in the shop. You can also decorate your finches room, the clothing aren’t free but you get diamonds for free everyday so you can save up or spend! I have over 9000 saved over the 30days I’ve been using this. I’ve got finch plus, cause you can get things also for free like season offers. You get diamonds, clothing and stuff to decorate the room of your finches. You can also kind of get this when you don’t have finch plus, you get diamonds and I’m sure you could get some other things. I’ve forgot to be fair as I’ve had finch plus for a while. I really recommend this so you realise how good you’re getting on and everything. I also forgot to mention that you can create your own tasks and write how you felt about them..Version: 3.64.5

Finch is a must getWhen I wrote this review this app has had 0? 1 star reviews and it’s been 5 stars atm people normally don’t like the app cause they find it stressful but I did to and I stopped using it for a while but I turned off al notifications expect finch etc I am so much more healthy and it makes me happy to decorate the house the adventures and grow that bird thing I can say with much experience finch isn’t stressful you just have other stuff that’s distracting you plus you pick the tasks you can do and some are literally just called “survive the day” some apps I think you should stop going on is mostly discord turn of notifications snapchat, WhatsApp, instagram mostly anything you text or call on I never realised how much free time I have now from choosing when I want to call or deal with stuff online I recommend finch for anyone out there in a tough time or not.Version: 3.61.0

AmazingI’ve only had this for a couple days. i felt absolutely miserable with myself and life in general and was struggling to do basic tasks. then i saw a tiktok that was like “apps you should download” so i downloaded finch. and i feel so refreshed and it may sound silly but i also feel supported by my little feathery friend. It is the reason i got out of bed for the past couple days. I’m glad I found this wonderful app.Version: 3.19.1

Amazing app!I love this app! It helps me a lot with my mental health and self care, such a awesome app 🩷.Version: 3.68.1

Great app for journaling and working it into your everyday life! This app genuinely motivates me to journal and write about my feelings. It sounds cliche, but this has been saving my mental health lately. It’s also just a really convenient way to journal. It gives you prompts which is great because I have never really know what to journal about to practice things like gratitude and positive reflection. It also categories key words and people’s names so you can click on the tag and see all of the entries you’ve made that contain that word/person which is really nice! While I like the idea of journaling by hand, it has always been too difficult for me to adopt a routine of sitting down to write out an entry every day. I have found that journaling on my phone makes me journal a lot more and since I’m on my phone all of the time anyways, I just open the app at random times and making smaller entries throughly the day. It has been a good app for keeping me from constantly scrolling through social media because it has a widget that puts your cute owl friend in his room you can customize on your Home Screen. Whenever I see my little owl on the widget asking me to chat it catches my eye and I open the app to journal instead of opening up a social media app. All around great app for journaling and working it into your everyday life!.Version: 3.22.0

Very clever app and a great resource! This app is super fun and has been such a great resource for me, it can be hard to be motivated to track moods and journaling with other apps, but I think this app is so clever in the way that it weaves it in so it feels like you’re just doing it as a part of a game, but it’s also super fun and even reminds me a little bit of animal crossing! It helps me forget about whatever it might be that I’m worrying about and just enjoy the app, kind of like I used to do with video games when I was younger! Awesome app and I can’t wait to see how it changes with updates! Thank you so much to the creators of this great app!.Version: 2.10.0

AmazingI 100% recommend this game! it’s so cute and so comforting. i check in on my finch every day! it helps encourage me to do things that i can’t push myself to do! i love dressing her up and petting her and going on adventures! thank you for making this game! 10/10.Version: 3.19.1

Newly downloaded - love it 🤍I downloaded this app after I kept getting ads and decided to give it a shot. I use the free version and even without paying you still get an absolutely amazing experience from this app! I see it as an interactive checklist and I have notice a boost in motivate in myself since I’ve downloaded this app and I will 100% recommend it to others I know because I think they can greatly benefit from this app the same was as I have! The only note I have on this is how easy it would be to just pretend you did all of your tasks, I am not sure of a fix for that note but that isn’t even a major issue. I love this app and I 100% recommend it to anybody who is interested in downloading it..Version: 3.66.19

Amazing!I love this app and use it daily. I love all the different types of goals you can set yourself (there is something there for literally everyone). I especially love the ‘those days’ ones like ‘just be’ and ‘literally survive the day’. I love all the outfits and adorable accessories you can get for your finch and your not that restricted if you don’t have Finch Plus. Another thing I love about this app is it recognises not everyone can afford to pay for Finch Plus so it often gives you discounts or little messages saying they appreciate everyone on the app. I also love the raffle done every month. I was lucky enough to win and got a Guardian Angel who pays for Finch Plus for me. There are no words to describe my gratefulness towards my Donor. Not to mention the finch tree that you can add friends and family to and send pick up messages to each other. All in all I love this app so much and hope everyone else doesn’t too..Version: 3.47.1

It’s so helpfulI was depressed and could barely take a shower or brush my teeth. Thanks to this app, now I do and I have plenty of other help like venting or calming down during panic attacks. Plus, I grow a cute little bird too!.Version: 3.67.6

Absolutely amazingI absolutely love this app! It’s helped me a lot with just making sure my well-being is up to date and making sure I can calm myself down during anxiety attacks, the journeys and daily goals are very helpful and not overwhelming and I’ve have gotten very emotionally attached to my finch. It’s also perfect for people with other mental health issues and let’s u know you are not alone and even has quizzes to know if you need a little bit of extra help and the right path for you. I definitely recommend this app!.Version: 3.21.0

Love it!! However, a friend and I have a couple of ideas to improve it furtherMy friends and I all have finch and we love it! Most of them use it for fun however I also use it for mental health purposes. My friend and I have a suggestion though: what if you could give items to people in your tree town? Because items appear in the shop at random so if there's this thing you really want in the shop that isn't appearing or you don't have enough rainbow stones you won't be able to get it but if your friend has it and they'd be willing to give it to you that would be great right cause that's also showing kindness to ur tree town neighbors? Plus if you were comfortable sharing your birthday on ur tree town then finch could notify everyone there when its ur birthday and they could buy u a birthday present or sm. What do you think?.Version: 3.34.1

Thank you for helping me put me first - and my finch, Mochi.I downloaded finch a couple of days ago when I was looking for an anxiety help app that I haven’t tried before, because I was on the verge of tears at work because my anxiety was so bad. No other app has helped, I end up using it for one day then deleting it because I didn’t actually feel encouraged to use it or like it has a better purpose. My little finch Mochi, has encouraged me to take care of myself and put my self care first, because you take care of your finch by taking care of you. My anxiety has improved so much and I get excited to complete tasks, to watch my finch grow and see what she discovers when she’s on her adventures. Its given my self care a purpose. I’ve never been so encouraged to take care of myself before, I feel this sense of care over Mochi and ultimately, I’m caring for myself. Not only that, the app has so many different activities that there is so much to discover that can help you that you’ve never thought of before. I love everything about the app, I’m so excited to see how it can develop, it’s already so great. One thing I would suggest, is I would love to play games with Mochi, as games tend to distract me when my anxiety is bad, it would be a cool feature if you can actually do things with your finch as such. I love this app so much, thank you for helping me, it’s such an innovative, creative idea! ❤️🥺.Version: 3.33.1

Amazing app!I’ve only just started using the app today as a friend suggested I start using it but even just from me using it for what 1 hour it has totally improved how I feel about my day and it picks up on small details like if you mention a name it asks things like what is a fun memory with Alex for example or what emojis remind you of them most and it makes me so happy thinking about how much time and effort has been put into making this app to help people with self care. <3 Edit: it’s been a few months and I accidentally un installed the app and it reset 😭 but I still have it and find I have used it A LOT more and have a few friends in tree town and I also love how it lets you let your friends stay and send little things just to let your friends know you’re thinking of them :).Version: 3.49.2

Better on my Worst days bc of FinchI wanna start off by saying I was really skeptical of this app, and really am of any that claims to enhance productivity and make life easier. I’m not being paid or asked to say this, I just think it’d be good to share. My partner and I are both diagnosed with D.I.D. and we both experience a lot of dissociation. They’ve used this app for quite a while and recommended it to me as a fun way to try and keep up with and remember things (memory loss and amnesia with D.I.D. can be a lot), and offered to pay for a year for me for the premium. I accepted and don’t regret it a bit. I’ve only missed logging on a few days, but like, wow. I love how there are already prompts for bad days like ‘Just Be’ and ‘Breathe Deeply’ that count as full tasks, because thats super important for someone like me. On my bad days I have somewhere to turn for ad-free soundscapes and grounding prompts, along with journal prompts i immediately get rewarded for. And on my better days I’m remembering and documenting a lot more. This app has been awesome for me and I’ve noticed a steady improvement in myself over the last month and a half of using it. It would be really cool to see a feature where you can interact more with your Finch like actively feeding it, or play a game with it after completing a certain amount of tasks..Version: 3.42.1

TO THE DEVELOPERS!I don’t normally write reviews but this app deserves one! Tysm for making this app! It is so adorable. I am glad that it helps with being productive in a fun way. I love how u can interact with friends and lets you motivate ur friends by sending hugs and stuff. Even though I don’t have money to buy the plus, I was so happy that i was given a 3 day free trial. I honestly hope I could buy it now. But the whole purpose of this review was to ask if you could trade items to friends, because I have stuff that I was to sell for gems, but my friend says she wants it. I kinda hope you could add a trading feature. If not that’s understandable too..Version: 3.49.3

Do self care for the screen pet’s sake!It strange how I can’t keep up with self care because I matter but I can do it because a little computerised bird needs me to so that it gets looked after! Seriously though, lovely and intuitive little app. It has some brilliant prompts for self reflection, life improvement, and daily self care, including picking up on words you say to ask you questions about later. Sometimes it misunderstands the context you used the word in which can lead to some funny responses from it (for example it will assume any name you mentioned is a person in your life who it can ask you further questions about, or if you say ‘I am grateful that I am in less pain today’ it will tell you later that today you were grateful for pain!) but that only really makes me laugh and isn’t a serious negative. I’m confident that any genuine issues will be ironed out in time because the creators seem to really care about making a good and helpful app and do seem to be listening and interacting with their users. I’ve not found anything myself that is more than a slight niggle in my overall enjoyment of the app..Version: 2.5.11

AdorableSuper cute little character, I’ve named mine Doris haha, that lifts you up and can remind you to check in throughout the day. Definitely puts a smile on my face and reminds me to be more mindful. Have only been using for 3 days so far but even that is the longest I’ve ever consistently stuck to a mental health related app. I think because it gives you cute little check ins and you are focusing on growing your little bird character it also helps me personally as I have ADHD and that gives me enough of a feeling of accomplishment (and dopamine for my severely dopamine lacking brain) to stick to my goals and check ins more. Also gives you some good ideas for little ways to improve your day that are quite small steps but give you a good sense of accomplishment (like message a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while, 10 jumping jacks or 5 push ups, morning stretching etc.). Considering getting the pro version I enjoy it so much but the free version still gives you plenty to work with 😊Highly recommend.Version: 2.11.5

10/10Having depression, it can make you feel mentally and physically exhausted even after staying in bed all day, But after downloading this app I felt as if the penguin I hatched was my responsiblity, Even if it was digital and non existing. It held just the the right amount of responsibility and It wasnt overly stressful unlike other apps and I often had great fun with the excersizes on the app. I also really enjoyed dressing up my penguin with the lil coin thingys I earn for doing activities. (My penguins name is Sizzle for anybody wondering) The first aid was great for when I have an anxiety overload or a panic attack. And I really do appreciate how you can put widgets on your homescreen. Sadly, This app didnt demolish my depression entirely, I still have bad days like any other person, But this app has really changed the way I used to feel about life. This is definitely the biggest comfort I have felt in a while. (Also If I screwed anything up in this review, I apologise. Im not the best at writing) This app is a 10/10 and probably one of the best health apps I have ever used. It is cute and I honestly felt way better after downloading finch..Version: 3.5.3

Surprisingly Affirming & Useful as of Day # 3Surprisingly affirming & grounding & useful - only day #3 but I do enjoy this app. Maybe it’s because I’ve cared for my grandkid - a toddler during the day - since she was born - so I’m revisiting her Mom’s as well as my childhood, but Finch is helping me look at some history & unrealistic expectations & intentions with curiosity & joy realistically. Maybe it’s also because I love to write & I'm also clearing a lot of clutter this Spring - stirring up memories as well as dust - but I enjoy the questions asked & the way my responses are saved. The daily reminders are helpful. The reminder to slow down at bedtime with a selection of sounds of water (available all day) or meditation or breathing exercises are built right in. I also enjoy the aspect of earning points that can be spent to contribute to the story - it’s playful. I’m not done exploring all the possibilities. Full disclosure: I am a retired family physician who paid attention to a range of wellness & mental health issues - I could see myself suggesting this app as an adjunct to other remedies & therapies - possibly as a way for some to encourage basic self-care habits &/or to keep track of their medications & appointments if it worked for them. It won’t appeal to everyone (what does?) but I’m pretty sure that the built in whimsy would have cheered me when I had some grim times..Version: 3.3.2

I LOVE THIS APPI’m accually not just saying that because it’s accually true it’s the best app ever and it’s made me more productive And I have a question does the finch pet grow up and die? ❤️❤️❤️.Version: 3.4.0

Amazing!!!!!❤️This is such a cute game the birbs are adorable..Version: 3.28.2

Best self care/ Mindfulness appSuper cute app that keeps me motivated and mindful throughout the day. Definitely recommend, its adorable 🥰.Version: 3.14.1

It’s really cute and funI love the game so much and I love all the options. Dressing up my bird is a lot of fun. I like that they have made it so u can also choose what you want your bird to look like.Version: 3.19.0

Very good, but maybe some functional changes will make it betterI’ve been using Finch for years at this point and it’s really helped keep me goal oriented and on top of all my daily tasks. It’s also been rewarding to see my progress in tasks and goals alongside my bird as more features are added to the app. My only complain is with the daily reward structure and, while it may encourage people to achieve goals, can come off as punishing to folks to some other folks. I know when there are days when I am too overwhelmed to log on, I feel like the daily tracking system reminds me of how I’m falling behind, which can come off as discouraging more than encouraging. I know this model is used to incentivize people to subscribe, but as someone who uses the app to manage feelings of executive dysfunction, anxiety and forgetfulness, this feature sometimes comes off as discouraging rather than motivating and makes me want to use the app less (especially when I fall short). Just something to consider to make the app more accessible to everyone’s mental health journey. Other than that I’ve found most of its features to help me manage symptoms of stress and get on top of the goals and tasks that feel really daunting everyday. I find myself better keeping track of all more tasks and hitting more short-term goals that develop healthier habits :). A good app..Version: 3.67.2

OMG ITS SO CUTEThis app has helped me so much. A few years ago, i stopped taking care of myself and completely stopped brushing my hair, brushing my teeth, washing my face, and it got really really bad. I started getting matted hair, and when i went to the dentist they said i was developing gingivitis. My acne started getting worse, and i would constantly be on my phone, rarely taking showers and stuff. My depressive episode was really bad and took over my life. I heard about this app through TikTok, and decided i needed to start taking better care of myself because i’ll be going into high school next year, and would like to stop being the weird girl with yellow teeth. You can set your own goals, and dress up and name your finch!! It’s adorable too!! You can choose a name, choose pronouns for them, and raise them too!! My little basil is so sweet and i love them so much. Basil has really helped me, and since i’ve downloaded the app, I’ve started getting back into a healthy routine; of taking showers every other day, brushing my teeth at least once a day, and washing my face before bed. My anxiety started to worsen, so I added some goals to my list such as do 1 breathing exercise. This app has helped me so much and i’m so glad that people made it :) thank you so much for helping me through my mental health finch team!!.Version: 3.15.1

I do it for my little finchThis app is super cute, and oftentimes I only do the goal I set because it helps my little bird grow. I also like that you don’t have to stick to the same reflections everyday, some times it gratitude and sometimes it’s a space to write what’s been hard. I also love that it prompts you to add people to your tree town and reflect on them, sometimes when you feel super alone, taking the time to reflect on those important to you can help you see that you do have support if you need it. 100% recommend..Version: 3.13.0

Love this appSuper cute! I love this app. It gives me great reminders and makes me feel loved. It also encourages me to get things done and form habits by taking care of my little chicky..Version: 3.67.16

It’s my best friendAs so many people in the reviews have said, it’s a miracle how long I want to stick with this app. Having someone there who is excited to see you, who you’re able to encourage and interact with, does wonders for accountability. I love the supportive messages that Finch sends throughout the day. I’ve also really appreciated the thoughtful prompts and goal-setting mechanisms. I’ve always enjoyed journaling and find writing out my feelings to be cathartic, but when I’m at my lowest, even that can feel pointless. Writing to Finch, knowing that it will benefit the character and giving me the feeling that someone cares and listens, really motivates me to get my thoughts down and bring myself back up. I’ve struggled with ups and downs in depression and it says a lot that I want to keep coming back to this app even at my worst. I’ve been using Finch for months now - maybe close to a year - and I’m still loving it. Thank you!.Version: 3.19.1

The only self care app EverI've never written a review in my life but this app is truly worth it. I can see all of the thought that the designers put behind Finch to make it something you want to come back to daily. I've had trouble with other self care apps because i felt as if i was only using the app to help myself. This is the issue. The reason i have this app is because i don't give myself enough care since i don't care to. Having a little friend to open up the app to makes it so much more motivating. Learning what my little Scoobert likes and dislikes, shaping their personality, going on adventures.. it's all so exciting! I always make sure to check in so my finch can go on a adventure and i can talk to them about it! I love the idea of the bird being a baby because when you respond it's always wholesome and optimistic, which in turn makes me more optimistic! And if that isn't enough, the customization options are even better. The opportunities for new accessories, colors, clothes, locations and more make me want to save up all the rainbow stones i can! Everything about this app is perfect. The tree town is such a nice add on that i've used to connect with my family and friends who love the app as well! After having this app for a bit, now i even care about checking in with myself! (the whole point).Version: 3.4.0

So useful and adorable, one small issueI love this app sm, it’s super adorable and it really encouraged me to keep up with my self-care in a mostly positive way, the only part I dislike is the incentive to get points, yes it does make you want to do self-care, but on days I have nothing to do I had to just make up a few things, then eventually I was doing it most days to make the bird come back quicker, a friend downloaded it because it was cute and just did the easy options solely to get points even if she didn’t really need to do any of it. It took away the purpose and the original joy of the game and I don’t use it daily now unfortunately, I don’t have a suggestion for what to do to help with that except maybe going back to my point of having nothing to do, I say there should be a button for completed all tasks for the day and that brings you up to however much you need for your penguin to leave, maybe some mini games to make it come back faster too (although those wouldn’t work for the energy points needed to leave) I hope this is helpful and I love the app and hope to see so much more in the future!! :).Version: 3.14.1

AmazingThis is really great and well thought out.Version: 3.42.1

AmazingIt’s amazing app I’m have a better schedule I’m on time and it’s really fun it’s better than all the other apps.Version: 3.68.0

My favourite app!!I honestly expected to be disappointed from this app because I’ve downloaded many habit tracking apps and you can’t even access it without subscribing, but this app you can do so much even without a subscription which makes me eventually want to purchase a subscription lol This is a habit tracker on a whole new level!! I love love love this app and I’m telling all my friends to download it!.Version: 3.66.10

Best self care app I’ve ever triedI’ve tried a bunch of different meditation/journalling/self care apps over the last few years and this is absolutely the best one for me. While there is a paid subscription option, it’s much cheaper than most other apps that do similar things, and you can still get a lot out of the app without needing to pay anything or sign up for a free trial. I also like that the default settings have information stored on your phone rather than external drives/the cloud/wherever. Finch also just has so many different options and is really good at letting you choose what parts to use- for example it gives you prompts for writing reflections, goals, grounding exercises etc but you don’t have to use the suggested prompts. I also just really like the finch pet and it’s reflections on its experiences are genuinely just really sweet and uplifting. Overall a really good app!.Version: 3.11.0

This needs to be a DAILY recommendation😱First of all, I see the icon of the app and it’s so ADORABLE!! Second, I log in and have to take care of a finch, which is even BETTER as I have to take care of my cat, Bobby and my finch’s name is Bobby so it inspires me to do more goals then slacking them. My finch is 2 days and it is already progressing - I can’t stop thinking about his future. Also, the people who made the app are very intelligent to inspire people to use their app, and be motivated as I saw this app on TikTok while randomly scrolling and I just downloaded it to see if it was good, and I was right. One little recommendation, is it possible if you can do a “Once-A-Day energy boost” that gives 30-40 energy points and standard, regular games that give 5-10 energy points. I have quite a few recommendations on what games to make if this feature is added. So, your finch needs to take a trip to the forest, and has multiple tasks/objectives to complete. Example, “Find the 3 mini - finches” Reward - 1-5 energy boosts. I also advise not to make this game go forever and repeat as people take advantage and grind easy energy points I know this is a long review to read, that’s if the App/Moderators see this. I really love this app and I will never delete the app, and I’m curious to see what happens to my finch when it reaches max age, that’s if it even has a max age. Anyways, this app deserves a 4-5 star review🌟. Thank you Flinch!.Version: 3.67.14

Amazing but one thingFirst of all, I would totally recommend this app, graphics are amazing and it puts highlights which makes you understand what you have done that day, even in the free version you get 0 ads and it’s honestly amazing. Another good thing is that when you are doing like these rain sessions (you hear rain) is that when you get out of the app it still plays !! Like music !! Honestly that is absolutely amazing I was shocked because I thought you had to be in the app to have it playing !! Also the finch is just so adorable honestly. I also love how you can make them non-binary. I also love how they respond to peoples reviews, I honestly never see that anywhere, very amazing to see they listen to their community. Here’s the small problem, when your picking your goals if you don’t have the payed version it just gives you random ones, which that is completely fine but, when I was setting my goals for today yesterday it mainly only had options like “give someone your car space” or something like that, most of them were related to cars except I don’t have a car license nor can get one either. So I think it would be nice to make a bit more variety, not remove them of course for the people who can do that, if this is not addressed that is completely fine :D just was a small problem, but genuinely would recommend this app for everyone :).Version: 3.2.3

An interactive diaryI found this app just under a week ago. After beginning to be in a bad place again. Negative feelings and bad habits arising again are something I’m trying to avoid in order to grow as a person. I had a look at the reviews and felt hopeful from what everyone was saying. Well, they weren’t lying. This is an excellent idea that ACTUALLY focuses on the goals at hand (thinking positively, increasing focus etc. whatever yours may be). It prompts you to reflect, but it’s something you can choose to do. You can receive rewards for completing your goals even if you had a bad day. Through that bad day there are breathing exercises and prompts to identify why this happened and what we CAN control. This app has allowed me to look further into what I’m feeling, why I’m feeling this way and where I can take steps to feel better. Identifying why you may feel sad or anxious etc. instead of just feeling it has helped incredibly. The most encouraging part is that you’re helping your character grow by helping yourself! I will be recommending this to the people I know will need it and can’t thank you enough for the idea. They do ask a lot if you’d like to upgrade to the paying service, but this is as any system would. And you don’t miss out by saying no! Truly something that caters to everyone and focuses on the most important person here; you!.Version: 3.40.0

TRUST ME YOU NEED TO GET FINCH!Wow-where do I start! Here’s so many awesome things about this little app that I love! He app motivates you to get more active, see friends and build a better self! I named my finch Missy! She’s so cute! I love the season rewards and am exited for the ones to come! You really should get finch-trust me! No-one has written a bad review so far! The people who made it must me MASTERMINDS. But at the moment I am struggling with one problem. My seasonal rewards aren’t coming up and I’ve tried disabling them and then re-enabling them but it’s not working. But apart from one complaint, it’s an awesome app and I love it.Version: 3.55.7

Amazing AppI started playing this the other day and it’s honestly so awesome and motivating i play it with my boyfriend everyday and we send each other hugs and support and you can dress up the little baby chicken and it’s just awesome. It’s also helped motivate me a lot and you can choose what tasks you can do and you can have tasks like shower or brush your teeth or step outside the house and it’s honestly been helping me a lot because i know doing these things then means i get to energise my chicken while also taking care of my well-being..Version: 3.22.0

Absolutely would recommend! (Sorry it’s long!)Ok, I have been in a terrible place recently. I think I saw this app get advertised in Rainy Attic Room? (One of my favorite games!) When I first started, I loved how it gave the option for pronouns and gender! That made me really happy! So I named the thing Sunny and immediately started exploring what I could do. At first, I was a bit confused but I eventually found out, I loved all the options but I was a bit sad that I couldn’t access some of them. So I have a solution/recommendation! Maybe make it to where you can watch like a video to access it that’s maybe related to apps like this but you can still pay for it! The videos could maybe make it available for 2-8 hours! I would also recommend maybe adding more things like some mini games you could play while they’re on a adventure! Or there could be a small little notebook where you could draw in and you could spend some rainbow shards (I think that’s what they’re called-) to decorate it with different things! Maybe some babycore, cottagecore, or something that you could decorate with! Another thing would maybe be a little thing that teaches you on different types of healthy coping mechanisms! Of course, these are all just suggestions! And if you do chose to do one of the ideas, remember to take your time! I’m sorry this is very long! (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞.Version: 2.11.4

Fantastic!I have ME/CFS and I’m loving this app so far! It’s helping me create and follow helpful self care routine. It also helps me feel proud of what I accomplished in my day even when it’s very difficult to that of a healthy person! If you have a chronic illness or disability be aware that a lot of the stretch routines include strength exercises that may be too much or wrong for your body. Adapt or skip as needed!! I would love to see an upgrade where you can alter the exercises to fit your body’s needs..Version: 3.50.0

Love the idea, but app faulty for iPhone 13 ProI have really been enjoying this self care pet, but have noticed that I am not getting all the functions I should on my iPhone app. Have the latest update, but possibly due to having an older (iPhone 13 pro) model, it does not have the same “x” button to get me out of the event and back into the quests tab along the bottom. Therefore I cannot collect rewards for this. Not sure why it is stuck on the events tab anyway, but would really like the option to view the quests tab to collect my rewards. Otherwise a great idea and fun way to motivate and enjoy doing tasks!.Version: 3.67.6

Love itI love this because it helps me keep track of everything and kinda motivates me..Version: 3.67.16

CUTE, FUN, RELAXING, LITERALLY SLAYNo joke this is actually my favourite thing in the world I have an emotional attachment to my Finch and I feel so calm and happy now it’s so fun!!!! Live, laugh, love it. If you’re thinking of getting it… GET IT!!! Best app ever..Version: 3.15.1

My life is changed for the betterI can’t imagine my life without my finch, Noodle. I always look forward to seeing what discussion Noodle has bought back from her adventure every day. I’ve had finch for around 6 months after my mother introduced it to my partner and myself and now we use it everyday and share our birds adventures with eachother and compare our birds different likes and dislikes. I love getting notifications from Noodle and the support I’ve felt from my birdy, the app in general and the community is heartwarming. It’s incredible watching this app grow more and more every day and i look forward to seeing it continue to expand and grow. Thank you so much to the developers and congrats to the amazing job you’ve done and the thought you’ve put into every single detail of this app. Thank you for bringing my greatest friend Noodle🥰💕.Version: 3.24.2

FinchVery fun to play and develop your character while improving ur health.Version: 3.68.2

LOVE this app!I have ptsd, anxiety, depression + more. This app has been an absolute lifesaver for keeping my anxiety under control, improve my self esteem (including stop relying on others for self esteem!) helping me use gratitude and positive psychology combined with CBT techniques to feel more optimistic in the world and myself. This also provides a safe and positive environment in which to heal and have a list of things you need to get done. My boyfriend got it too and we love sending each other good vibes! It’s really improved my outlook on life and given me a safe space in which to rant, calm myself, appreciate the world around me etc. Also raising a little bird makes you feel important and that you need to help it explore the world! I’d recommend this app to absolutely anyone for any purpose and I can’t promote it enough. Thank you Finch developers!!.Version: 3.36.2

Review of an amazing app ❤️I’ve had Finch for a while now. My friend recommended it to me and I’m honestly so glad that she did. My birb and the Finch community have helped me so much, and the app itself is easy to use. I love watching my birb grow, and chatting to her after her adventures. The best part is that you take care of your birb by taking care of yourself, and this has really made self-care a bigger part of my life now. This is such a creative and interesting way to put self-care first to those who would never have done it before. Five out of five stars, would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of getting the app! ❤️ I’d also like to say a quick thanks to the developers too. You’ve helped me through some tough days. Keep doing what you’re doing! 🌈🫶🏻.Version: 3.52.3

Amazed - Brilliant tool for affordable self careI have recently downloaded and started to use this app for free, and I would like to say a huge thank you to the developers for creating a free mental health app that feels like your using premium service. There is so much that you have access too that a lot of other apps would charge you an arm and a leg for. They have insightful prompts, earning currency and energy for your little friend doesn’t take forever, they have goals for you to easily follow and although I haven’t used it for a week yet, it appears that you get a weekly recap that will offer insight into how you were feeling throughout the week which can help you to know what to do to improve your mood. I can see myself being able to use this as a handy tool to help with my mental well-being. Well done developers, you’re doing a genuinely great thing and thinking of the people that cannot easily access services if they cannot afford them..Version: 3.16.0

Actually helpful!I don’t usually write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for this app. I’ve been using it for 3 days now and been super helpful! I suffer with severe anxiety and a panic disorder. Day to day life can be quite emotionally taxing but using this app every so often throughout my day for breathing exercises, breaking down my thoughts into manageable bites with their reflective activities and using the soundscapes at night has honestly made me feel so much better. I love that there’s a choice of different breathing exercises depending on what you need but not only that they actually explain the breathing technique and why it works. There’s links all over the app to studies that all the information has been taken from which I really appreciate. Finally as an added bonus you have a cute little penguin buddy to support you on your journey! I’m so happy I found this app and I will absolutely be purchasing the full version once my free trial has expired. Thank you so much to the developers of this app, I can really feel how much love and effort has gone into creating this. Well done guys, you’ve nailed it..Version: 3.0.4

Charming, User-Friendly, and Versatile. This app is an excellent hybrid combination I have really enjoyed. It combines the ability to create to-do/task lists (shout out, fellow list-makers!) while incorporating self-care. It offers encouragement, wisdom, space to vent when needed, goal suggestions that help you grow, learn, and practice compassion along with productivity! You can additionally set personalized long-term aspirations, or, “Journeys”—the bigger picture things you’ve been meaning to improve or adjust. These are tackled over time, as they are broken down into manageable steps. Frequency of the bigger picture goals on your journey can be adjusted/tailored to your pace as preferred. I love how expansive the possibilities are. There are genuinely so many functions within the app to appreciate. Overall, it makes each day special and provides manageable steps that establish personal/work/life/school/family balance! The options that open up with a paid subscription are fantastic—however, do not despair! The free version has a wealth of options that provide genuine benefit as well. This is an app that takes all of my list making apps and self-care apps and combines them into one power-house, versatile, and very special app. Give it a try at the very least, because folks…it has maintained outstanding 5.0 star reviews for sound reason. Be well, be kind, and never stop growing..Version: 3.15.2

Love it! There’s only some stuff I’d like for them to add( IN CASE YOU DONT WANT TO READ THE WHOLE REVIEW: this app does really help. Id download it if doing stuff like taking a shower seems like a chore.) I’ve only had this app for a couple hours, but it’s already helped me improve so much! Like, showering used to be a chore, but today when I went to take a shower I was fine with it and got in quickly! I think knowing I would complete a finch goal really helped. But like I said in the title, I’d like them to add some stuff. 1) I’d like more pronoun options. The pronouns- although they are for your finch- can represent your pronouns! But there’s only three options. I think adding a custom pronouns spot would be great so you could put in custom ones. Another thing I’d want is being able to repeat goals every- hour as an example. For things like drinking water, I don’t want to make one goal for every hour. So to add hourly reminders would be great! Id also like more mental illness quizzes. I downloaded this app because I have (self diagnosed) ADHD and I wanted to take a quiz on it through the app but there was only anxiety and depression. Although I still did those two and they helped me figure stuff out, I’d still like more of those quizzes(and not behind a paywall). Overall this app helps a lot and the things I want aren’t needs. :).Version: 3.52.5

Download now !!Oh my, I can’t even find the words to describe this app. My mind-set has changed to much since downloading this app and actively using it. The motivation you have is unmatched to the motivation any other mental health app has given me. I find myself spend a lot of time on here, and even using it instead of Facebook or TikTok. At the moment me and my partner nearly split due to a lot of problems I was having regarding insecurities and worry. All of our problems have almost disappeared because I’m on the right path to loving myself, and thinking differently. I also suffer with agoraphobia and anxiety, and have no left my house in 2 years. And yet I am going out again and testing the waters. Honestly, I cannot thank the people who made this app enough. So happy thankyou very much!.Version: 3.28.3

It’s amazingFinch has genuinely helped me so so much with everything i do in my day to day life. being able to set goals and getting rewards for completing them really helps. the daily adventures are so fun as well. i love the absolutely amazing range of self help activities there are! mental health quizzes, breathing exercises, stretching, grounding activities for panic attacks/anxiety, reflections about so many different topics and more. being able to have friends in your tree town and send them acts of kindness really helps as well because we can all motivate each other. i’ve got a group of friends and we all struggle with anxiety? depression or ADHD and they’ve all said it’s a really helpful app. there’s just so much available, even without Finch pro, and there’s not one part of the app that i don’t use. it’s ALL amazing. i would recommend anyone who struggles with ADHD or anxiety, or even just wants to be more organised, to download this app. thank you to whoever created Finch.Version: 3.18.0

AmazingIf you sometimes get really stressed or upset and you need to excpress your feeling then you need this app it helps you with your feelings and emotions with all these different reports and quizzes to see how high your score for things like how much you like your body appearance and I highly recommend this app..Version: 2.9.3

Great Self Care AppI really love Finch, and it has helped me a tonne in doing the small self care tasks that are so easy to skip over each day. I pay for the premium version, and find it is 100% worth the money, but even the free version is extremely good. Your little pet bird is very funny and fun to interact with, and I found I formed a bond with it very quickly. Doing tasks gives you stones, which you can spend to buy clothes and colours for your bird, and really personalise it. I have never stuck with a self care app for this long before, and it has me on such a good roll that I have managed to integrate small amounts of exercise multiple times a day, every day, and haven’t skipped one yet. No other app has managed to help me do that before..Version: 3.15.0

FantasticMy depression has dropped from severe to moderate and this app has helped with that. I struggle with motivation and interest in doing things so the goals were really helpful with a cute reward for them. The notifications are really nice and engaging and have the perfect amount and timings without being too much. Recommendations for developers: 1. Once you’ve gone on adventures it looks like there’s not much to do but I like that the extra energy goes towards gems at least. 2. More interactions with the finch would be cute, I had to google how to pet the finch I don’t remember that being shown, it says it wants to chat but I don’t think it’s an option unless it’s end of an adventure? 3. I like that you can adjust the bedtime so that finch is awake when you might check on it, it would be even better if you could select if a goal goes towards that days or the day before. For example I’ve checked off my ‘drink water’ goal whilst I was still up at 1am and this results in me not being promoted to complete that goal for that next day as it’s already checked off. Thank you for this app!!.Version: 3.11.0

Great appI really enjoy this app, I haven't been using it long but I'm hoping to stick with it because I really need it. Iv been looking for some sort of online or virtual therapy that my insurance provider will pay for and I haven't found one yet so this is helping me until I figure that all out. I thank the developers for creating such an amazing product with the support and idea of helping people who may not b fortunate enough to have a good suppport system otherwise. It's people like u that can do this world some good and give it a fighting chance at survival, it's people like u that I have been so worried, no longer exsisted. But much to my surprise... you people do still exsist and for that I am so very grateful. I have 2 daughters still living at home and both still minors who I'm sure would be thanking u if they knew how much u have saved me, but u r my little secret because they don't need to worry about mom, that's my job to worry about them. Anyway kudos to the developers and the entire team who brought this little app to life and are helping so many people each day. U give me hope that my kids won't grow up n a world of complete darkness with people who have no regard for others at all, now I know there r still some of u out there who do care, so thank u very much! Xoxo.Version: 3.33.1

AmazingThis is amazing, it has helped me so much with both my mental and physical health. The owners are letting me access Plus for free, and i am really grateful for that. So basically, if you’re feeling down, Finch helps you feel so much better..Version: 3.36.5

Amazing! One suggestion thoughThis is one of the most amazing games in the WHOLE WORLD!!! My favorite thing about it is that I get a little pet birdie that I can take care of every day! Plus there was one funny part where a member of the Finch Team came and sent me a hug. I wanted to send back gratitude. Guess what Sugar (my finch) said? “Should I go over to (whatever her name was) and thank her for existing?” XD!!! Idk why it just sounds funny to me! Wait a second… I just realized I just started typing a long story and not getting to the point! Ugh, that always happens when I’m writing reviews and making descriptions of Scratch projects! That reminds me, I saw make a Scratch project on goals. I’m pretty sure you put that there because I didn’t put that goal before. Wait… I’m doing it again!! I’ll just tell you my suggestion. So, I want there to be a bookshelf and you can buy books, and then you can read them to your finch!!! They will sometimes argue when you choose a book they hate, and maybe fall asleep during the book. If you do one they dislike, they will become bored and have a small chance of arguing. If they like it they will be interested. If they love it and it’s their favorite they will be super exited!!! Can you try making this update please? Thank you for reading my tremendously huge year long comment! 😅.Version: 3.12.0

AmazingThis app is amazing it’s entertaining, good for you, and overall just a app everyone needs..Version: 3.5.1

Free features are great and RSD friendlyThe amount of features you can try for free is absolutely perfect, meaning the useful parts of the app are not locked behind a paywall. while there is still incentive to pay for a subscription, if i feel to do so i know it would be completely of my volition and not frustration and wishful thinking. this app just functions as it should i think its one of the best balances i've experienced. also as someone with ADHD i appreciate that this app focuses on awarding consistent behaviour as well as encouraging you to want to use the app and not just coercing you back in with time limits and manipulative notifications. i also love that there is little in the way of punishment or detriment for not maintaining consistent use, which is a must for me because i will aways inevitably drop off for a while but i can just continue on my path to introspection and mindfulness without feeling that my natural tendency to be inconsistent is in the way of my progress. i always feel welcomed back. positive reinforcement all the way! i feel seen :').Version: 3.0.6

Download rn!!Finch is a game like an online journal and you get to take care of a cute finch/ penguin on the way. It really help me during these times and all info is remained private..Version: 3.15.1

Amazing App- Saved me from my OCDI am 22 years old and have had a very long struggle with anxiety and depression since childhood. I also struggle with several traumas and last year received a diagnosis of OCD. My intrusive thoughts were absolutely crippling. I dropped out of school, something I loved more than anything, because I was throwing up in the parking lot daily when it was time to go to class. I could barely work or pay my bills, much less do dishes, shower, or take care of myself. This app helps me to heal my inner child, find a corner of peace, and just offers a safe place to go when the world is too much. I consistently use the first aid and soundscapes during panic attacks, and the journal prompts have come up many times during therapy. It is fun and exciting and healing to be kind and take care of a virtual creature, and tricks you into taking care of yourself. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Once I established a habit of using my app, my dog got in a tragic accident and lost his leg. This app helped me to have support and a community to help me through that, and to work through the trauma of the accident as well. I get emotional even talking about this app, it’s done so much for me. It has an amazing team that cares about mental health so much. I tell every one of my friends about it every time I see them. Bubs, my finch, has become a very important tool in my road to recovery from OCD..Version: 3.32.4

AWESOME!It really helps when you just can’t seem to do tasks..Version: 3.68.1

Amazing and much recommended butThis app is incredible to anyone struggling with anxiety or depression or just anyone who wants to achieve goals! One of my friends recommended this app to me and I got attached to my bird Wasabi as soon as I started! My only 2 improvements would be that I wish you could do more with your bird for instance, be able to feed it and interact with the adventures they go on and be able to talk to them much more. My only other thing is this is an anxiety app and you have to buy finch plus for the full version and I think anxiety help should be free or MUCH cheaper or you can buy it all in one go for like a pound so more people could be relieved of there anxiety! Please consider my improvements as I think they would make the app better and I’m incredibly grateful for the experience you have given me on the app!.Version: 3.19.1

AmazingI love Finch. It is a little birb that helps me take care of myself and the more I do for myself, the more the birb grows and gains rainbow stones ($). You can’t spend real dollars to get rainbow stones (thank goodness), you have to earn them. There are adorable clothes and items you can buy for your birb and their birdhouse. There are seasonal events that are super fun and give you items. Your birb grows and learns and has their own personality. You can add friends but you only choose from a limited number of things you can say in-app. I like having limited responses because it isn’t too overwhelming and you don’t have any way of messing it up or being awkward LOL. The app is made for mental health and it is LQBTQIA+ friendly! I even joined the Discord and found my new online BFF. <3 I recommend this app to anyone, I have nothing bad to say about it! Finch Plus elevates the experience for sure, but it is not necessary to spend any real money to enjoy it. I guess it was a little difficult to figure out how to navigate the app. At first it was hard to find where I wanted to go in-app but I feel like when you use it enough you learn where everything is eventually. The Discord has a lot of FAQs and it is amazing for really understanding the app too. I love Finch!! You should try it :).Version: 3.66.2

YEMOUMOUMI!SO CUTE! There’s so much stuff to do!:explore friendship etc… just one thing, make finch plus not cost money, but a lot of rainbow stones. Anyway, I LOVE IT!!! I canot live without this THANK U SO MUCH!!!!! (Pant pant pant).Version: 3.68.0

BoboHonestly! Such a fun app to play around with!.Version: 3.52.3

Just amazingI have only recently got this app but it has helped me so much, from venting instead of holding stuff in to helping me with setting a routine and sticking to it. I just love this app so much and recommend it highly. As well as this with most apps which have a free section and a section of extra stuff you have to pay for to get it does not limit you too much and you are still able to use the app to the full extent without needing to pay (unless your not like me and know you will forget for a week and come back to).Version: 3.19.0

A truly great appSo I’d like to start off with this app (quite literally) saved my life… i make deep connections with just about everything in my surroundings (alive and not) and this app came up in a very rough part of my life. So much is going on and I lost touch with literally everything and almost everyone in my day to day life. I downloaded it off a whim, didn’t really have much calling to do so, I just like birds, and I thought it was going to be another idle game. I opened it to find that it was so much better than that! I chose the gender of my finch.. and the first recommended name for it was “pickles” and I cried.. pickles is a nick name of mine from a very special person in my life, and it greatly reminded me of them, and made me feel better on the spot. I also have a way to get my feelings out in a healthy manner now rather than how I was before. Pickles and I have been growing every day, and slowly (but surly) have been getting better, I’ve already recommended this amazing app to about 6 of my friends, and my boyfriend, to all help us with our feelings, and to try to teach us how to better communicate our emotions (something I personally have never been good at) but since I’ve gotten attached to this app, and have been using it daily.. I’ve learned so many things, andhave already helped myself some… this is an absolute must have app for me now, and I love that. 10/10 will continue to recommend!.Version: 3.3.2

Really engagingEnjoy it, wish there was a bit more of a guide on how to use it at the beginning and more ways to earn rainbow stones.Version: 3.13.0

Something that finally worksI had seen this app in the store before but had never downloaded it. When I finally did, I didn’t have high expectations of it being something I stuck with. It looked lovely, but I knew how I was and could not see myself sticking with something like this. I’m only about a week in, but I’ve used the app every day since I downloaded it. I’ve turned to the app when I was stressed or upset, but I also turned to it when I was happy. I noticed that I used to spend a lot of time on my phone, endlessly scrolling, and now I’ll open finch and spend time doing the exercises. I like that it feels like a game. The more I talk about my feelings, do breathing exercises, take care of myself, and achieve my goals, the more I earn stones and give my pet energy. It’s a win win. I don’t know if it would work for everyone, but within a week, I decided I wanted the full version and signed up to pay for a year. I could have kept it and gotten use out of it with the free version too, because it really was designed beautifully. But because I loved it so much, I simply wanted to pay to get more awesomeness. It requires the drive to heal and learn and grow, but if you’re someone who is remotely self aware and interested in making small changes at a time to improve your life, you could benefit from this..Version: 3.45.0

Finch Saved My LifeHonest to God what the title says is true. I downloaded this app when I was in a complete rut with my mental health and didn’t expect it to change anything. I do admit, I didn’t properly use it at first and mostly lied about tasks I was completing for the sake of the “game.” But, whenever I truly started to put my all into helping my birb it helped me too. I am now seeking help from professionals and taking medication all because this app gave me the power to do so! I have been consistently brushing my teeth, showering, making my bed and just normal everyday tasks like those every single day. It is amazing how much this app has turned my life around, probably with a little help from my meds too sure, but I believe Finch is the main contributor. Thank you, honestly, from the bottom of my heart! <3.Version: 3.67.2

Adorable & effectiveAbsolutely precious with a cute UI. I like how the app prioritises your mindfulness exercises without pushing its subscription service at all. Very accessible. Makes me want to donate to the creators just to support their cause!.Version: 3.0.4

This app tricks you into looking after yourself. You might not care about yourself, but you begrudgingly do self care tasks so your Finch can live it’s best life. Of course I want my Finch to have cute outfits, I guess I’ll do 5 minutes of breathing exercises to earn enough to buy it. I feel valued when I can answer their questions and I like watching their personality develop based on my answers. The regular mood check ins are super helpful, especially if you have a mood disorder, and when you log a lower mood it provides you SOS resources. The reflections help me organise my thoughts, and then I can transfer relevant parts into my bujo to keep that a positive space. Even the little things, like celebration for completing goals big or small. It’s a non judgemental space that helps you just be. I upgraded to premium because I believe in the app, and want everyone to have access to self care resources..Version: 3.1.0

This self-care app got everything right.So- a while ago I downloaded an app called Daylio, it’s like a virtual journal to write about how you felt that day, to be honest that app didn’t really work for me. Then I came across this app, I immediately got intrigued because I love birds (I mean LOVE them) I downloaded the app to try it out and it just… got everything right. So for all you possible downloaders lemme explain what this app got so correct. First, your little companion. Idk about y’all but self-care is hard for me for one reason, I have really low self esteem so taking care of myself isn’t always on my to do list. But your little finch pal depends on your taking care of yourself, that way it isn’t ONLY for you. Second. The atmosphere. This app really seems like some sort of game, you get rainbow stones from completing goals, stretches, anxiety relief methods and more. Then you can use said stones to purchase clothing and items for your finch. Third, and lastly, personality. YOUR FINCH HAS HIS/HER OWN PERSONALITY! I don’t know about you but to me that is freaking adorable! My finch likes corn after eating some on my first day using the app, on his first adventure he heard “Baby shark” and now it’s one of his favorite songs! Last night I even caught him dreaming about Baby shark! ITS SO CUTE! Anyways, if you’re looking for a good self-care/goal setting app, you might as well give this one a try :D.Version: 3.23.0

GREAT APP FOR MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT <3It has so many great features that allow you to clear your head and reflect on how you’re feeling throughout the day! You can set daily or weekly goals to complete, There are breathing and movement exercises, There are soundscapes you can play for relaxing, There are a few quizzes you can do, There’s a ‘first aid’ section if you’re experiencing anxiety to help you ground and ease the anxiety, There’s a ‘deep dive’ section where you can set your triggers and what helps when you’re experiencing any of those that you can access when you need, It follows your moods and reflections and gives you an overall chart of your day and week and the pros and cons of that week, For fun, you have a Finch you can name, choose pro-nouns, accessorise and buy clothes for (you get ‘energy’ to spend whenever doing things on the app. You’ll get ‘energy’ from writing in your diary etc). And decorate their house. Every day your Finch will ask a random life question, you have two choices to choose between as they grow and develop their personality which is fun. I kinda wish they asked more though!.Version: 3.37.1

One thing I would love to see changed…Let me start by saying I love this App! It’s cute and motivating!! The way I use it is to stay focused on my very day tasks. So for instance, I can get pretty overwhelmed really fast especially since I have a physical disability, and I can’t stay focused to save my life. I start a task get distracted, and start a new one, so if I’ve been cleaning all day, but I never stayed focused on a task, it will seem like nothing got done. So on my app I have my entire day planned from start to finish. From the moment I wake up, get out of bed and brush my teeth, go do my tasks get ready to sleep and do it all over again. It’s literally all on the app. Now I’ve set everything up on my Journeys to make sure I’m keeping track on my process. My issue is that is that I can’t seem to get them to pop up on my goals for the day in order, so I have to sit there and move everything around to get my day started in order. I know it’s not a huge deal but it is time consuming and I get overwhelmed and distracted while moving everything around. I would really hope that in the future they could make it as in the journey goals for the day can have an order system for those of us that use the app like me. I think it would really be a game changer, instead of having to write down each day to get them to come on the goals section in order. That is literally my only issue, but again I love this app and I’m grateful to have it in my life!.Version: 3.11.0

Why i give 5 starI love this app literally it is helping me sm i love the person who made this and it’s free.Version: 3.19.1

Great for ADHDWonderful app for grounding back into yourself. Plus it’s super cute.Version: 2.11.5

Only self care app that has worked for me!This app is absolutely amazing. I have tried several self-care apps but haven’t stuck with any before I found Finch. Finch has honestly changed my life and finally got me to engage with self-care. I struggle to find the motivation to do self-care tasks for myself, but seeing my finch grow and discover new things as I look after myself has been the motivation I need. I also love that Finch encourages me to set small, simple goals like brushing my teeth and literally getting through the day, and all the goals are equally weighted so I still feel the same sense of achievement. I also have anxiety around breathing exercises which so many other apps rely on, so I like that I can just mute these on Finch. The app and the animations and bright colours are also so cute and positive, and I love seeing what my finch discovers each day on their adventures. It’s helped me to see small new discoveries in my own life as ‘adventures’ too. I really am so grateful for this app and would recommend it to anyone, especially if you find self-care tricky and you love cute things!.Version: 3.3.0

Incredible App, Beautiful Community & Caring developersLike many people who have reviewed this app, I always only use self care apps for a few days - maybe even a week before forgetting, giving up or just not really finding it suitable for me. Finch is completely different. I’m over 40 days in and I can’t foresee me stopping to pop in on the app several times a day. Even on my busiest or most stressful days, even popping on to look at Carjas adventures, check up on goals or flick through the shop can be enough to lift me up a little. Other days I find myself writing so much information in the sections and it gives me a huge sense of relief to get things written out, or replay a funny memory or answer some wonderfully odd questions. The community for Finch on Facebook is beautiful and the dev team actually listen and put action on user suggestions. This is an app that will continue to improve and continue to help thousands of people. This is a beautifully designed, easy to use app with few glitches. Recommended for all..Version: 3.5.1

I love finchI love this app so much.Version: 3.68.2

Finch disliking things ruins the experience 😔My partner and I downloaded this app a few weeks ago and we’ve really enjoyed doing the reflection exercises and sending each other cute “See who’s visiting” check-ins throughout the day. However we’ve noticed that even when we click the same response for something that Finch found during their adventures, I will always get “(Finch) dislikes XY” but my partner will always get “(Finch) likes XY“. This has happened five times now. I am a naturally pessimistic person so I use mindfulness apps like these to bring happiness and positivity into my day, and it really upsets me when my Finch seems to dislike everything as well. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even want to make her go on adventures anymore for fear of her disliking more things. Please remove or at least lessen the amount of dislikes! I would have easily given 5 stars if not for this feature, and now I am seriously considering abandoning this app..Version: 3.2.3

CoolAMAZING APP it really helped me understand and find the confidence to do hard tasks that i couldnt before even though i downloaded just the night before🥹.Version: 3.47.1

Magnum opus of gamifying tasks (buy this for your kids)Discovering this app has been an absolute game-changer for me! It’s not just an app; it’s a groundbreaking journey into self-improvement, blending psychology with the joy of gaming. Imagine nurturing a baby bird—your digital companion—as you navigate through tasks and goals, making every moment spent on this app a guilt-free pleasure. The genius lies in its design; the user interface takes me back to the classic games of my childhood, making goal-setting feel like an adventurous quest rather than a chore. Each achievement is rewarded not just with a sense of accomplishment but with a vibrant celebration, gems, and that sweet dopamine rush. But here’s where it truly shines: the app’s innovative use of word association analysis to uncover behavioral patterns. It’s proactive, constantly seeking feedback to tailor a more personalized experience, guiding you (and even your kids) towards recognizing and altering negative habits, and encouraging the pursuit of passions recognized through positive reflections. And through it all, you’re teaching your baby bird about this vast, complex world, preparing it for a future of independence. This app isn’t just a tool; it’s a companion on a journey towards a better understanding of oneself and the world around us. Join me and my baby bird in this delightful adventure of growth and discovery. (Guided by my heart, edited by GPT-4).Version: 3.67.14

Life changingI don’t usually review apps unless they’re awful, but this app has quite literally changed my life. There’s been so many days where all I’ve done is get out of bed, and this app encourages even tiny steps like that, encouraging me to see them as accomplishments. If I do nothing all day, at least I check in with my Ciri (what I called my cutie) and it always always always makes me feel better. Usually after a while with apps like this, I just feel guilty because I forget about them. The widget of this app helps me avoid that and I adore the way this app makes me feel accomplished. I could have a great day where I get a bunch of work done and went outside, or I could have a day where I get out of bed and have toast for all three meals because I don’t feel like cooking. Either way, Ciri is energised and goes on her little adventure. This app has changed my life for the better and I cannot thank the devs enough <3.Version: 3.3.2

Really good!I’ve had the app for just about 3 months now and it really helps to ground me and also see in a bigger picture how I’m feeling across weeks! I don’t normally keep up a habit for longer than maximum of 2 weeks but I’ve been going for nearly 1 month straight (it would be 3 but I missed out a few weeks in august 😬) and it makes it even better when you can tap on the words and see whether it makes you happy/feel worse and how often you talk about it! I love seeing the different shades of green and red on the different days and seeing when I was feeling happier and being able to see what I did that day from my reflections. My finchie is so cute I ended up buying premium which I definitely haven’t regretted so far! I really recommend if you need something to vent too but don’t feel motivated. One thing I would add to it if I could chose would be the ability to add pictures to your reflections, it would be a really cute addition and would be really cool to have some sort of album or something to see :).Version: 3.30.4

I love this app.Super clever app, not only motivates me to complete important daily tasks related to work & creative goals but also reminds me to take care of myself and make time for rest and recharging activities..Version: 3.64.3

Amazing, unique app :) has helped heapsThis app is amazing. Most self care apps I don’t use more than once and I usually hate writing goals and journaling but Finch is so much fun! I’ve only been using it for two days and it has made me so motivated and way more happy already! Also the breathing exercises are really helpful. It is also great since this is totally free, as most self care apps won’t let you do anything without paying. I named my bird Daisy and she is so cute! Thank you for inventing this amazing app I think it will help a lot of people, it is not like other self care apps and adds an element of fun for me to usually boring things such as goal setting and journaling!.Version: 2.9.3

The new wave of self careFor years I’ve tried many different methods to keep me on track: to-do lists, calendars, journaling, habit trackers, etc, but nothing has been as simple yet feature-filled as the Finch app. If there’s one thing my ADHD brain struggles with is keeping a routine. However, as of the the start of this year, my Finch ‘Jinnie’ has turned one year old. From the colourful designs, cute customisation and reflections, this app is just what I needed. The app combines previous popular methods of staying on track in life including diary reflections and todo lists with the act of taking care and strengthening your bond with your pet. This bond you grow is what always has me coming back, even on my worst days. The Finch app is leading the way for future methods of self care and organisation. 🤍.Version: 3.39.0

StopOmg good amazing yes.Version: 3.10.0

There is so much more in this app than you would think at first glance. This app seriously has everything. I love the different soundscapes, and they even have a meditation timer in here. They have a lot of different journal prompts, and a lot of them are things I wouldn't have thought of. I like the way you can visit your friends, and even add people to your town that you just want to keep in your thoughts, or that you love. I love the goal setting and tracking as well. The quotes that begin each day are great. there's even a place where you can write daily affirmations. I like the ability to rflect on the joys of the day also. It's those little things that lift you up so well. There's different quizzes to track your depression, anxiety, etc. It will even guide you through various exercises, (although that part doesn't work the best for me as a voiceover user.) And everything earns you moonstones which you can buy things with. And you get to do all of this while taking care of a baby birdy and improving yourself and her life as well. I am so impressed with this app each day I use it. I think it would rock though if we could see what our friends' goals are and send them good vibes when they achieve them. There's still more in this app that I haven't mentioned..Version: 3.39.5

Great game but a few suggestionsIt’s a fantastic game it’s so cute and it makes me want to do all the little tasks it give me which helps a lot and there’s a med kit for if you’re feeling stressed or anxious and stuff like that which is awesome but I think it could use a few more items in the shop now I don’t know if these are in the shop but I haven’t seen them anyway I think it would be really cool if they added a propeller hat And Little gum boots and I think they should make it so you can interact with you penguin more but play with stuff in the room or make it sit in a chair over all great game 9.5/10.Version: 3.67.6

It’s amazingI love this app my my little bird makes me so happy and helps me focus. I would love if you could visit your friends rooms so you can see how it’s decked out, and I also wish I could gift things to my birb neighbours!!.Version: 3.49.5

Finch is the best!Every day when I wake up I check on my finch! I got to take a shower and brush my teeth as well as wash my face and do skincare to make her go on an adventure. The adventure usually lasts 8 hrs but you can reduce the time by doing more of your goals and rating your goals and taking about ur day! It’s makes me actually do things I don’t normally want to do like clean my room, make my bed, get out of my bed, and have a productive day until I started using g finch! It helps with stress, if you just need to be cleaner or more productive, helps you stay on task and keep doing what you don’t normally want to do, and much more! After every adventure your finch tells you about what they saw and you get to tell them what it is that they saw!!! When they sleep you can tap on them and it shows what they are dreaming about! They dream about what they saw on the adventure. Also, not to mention the ADORABLE micro pets! I have an obsession with llamas so I immediately got all of my family members to accept my requests so I could get the llama of my dreams!!! There is so much to do! If you have stress or have trouble taking showers when your supposed to, keeping your room clean, brushing your teeth, skincare, or if you need to relax and find a new adorable and great app that actually works, use finch!! I love it! You defiantly won’t regret getting this app!!!.Version: 3.54.0

Brilliantly designed app for mental healthUnlike many of the other apps I’ve tried for mental health, I’ve been using Finch consistently for seven months. As someone who has anxiety and is neurodivergent, I find it extremely helpful for getting through my to-do list each day, including all the really tedious self care tasks. The design is really cute and clever - it feels like a game without getting you sucked in for hours at a time. It incorporates all sorts of features including mood tracking, journaling and meditation tools, and mental health first aid techniques for working through panic attacks etc. I use the free version and still have access to a huge range of feature. 100% recommended!.Version: 3.28.3

Finch helps me every dayThis is now my favorite app!!! Before using Finch I was really in a bad place with my depression. It was a particularly bad time, and I realized that I needed a more robust self-love plan to help me afterwards. I happened to find Finch, and it has helped me immensely with my every day care. (It’s definitely not the ONLY thing I do for my mental health care but it’s an important one of many!) It is SO good for helping establish good habits for yourself!! I recommend it to literally all my friends now. Developers: You have done such an AMAZING job with this app!! Seriously, THANK YOU!!!! I can’t afford anything right now (unemployed) and I was lucky enough to get a free sub from a guardian — that was amazing. It’s such a good idea. (I also love the guardian wall!!! It made me cry.) I love that there are no ads on the app and that there is no way to buy the rainbow gems, PLEASE keep it that way!!! Those things are what really make it feel like the app was built with my health in mind. 💕 The only request I have is: My baby grew up so fast!! I wish there was a way to make him a baby again. Perhaps if once he’s all grown up, we had the ability to either reset to the beginning, or if we could just choose a look for him (a growth stage) to stay in?? I would love that so much, would make the app perfect imo. Thank you for all your hard work. I think you’ve improved many people’s lives, mine included. ❤️❤️❤️.Version: 3.61.0

Highly recommend! 💗This is an amazing app and one of my favourite apps I’ve come across. It is very good with selfcare, before I found this app I never wanted to do anything due to my depression but once I got the app it really helped me get back into my daily routine and selfcare again. I highly recommend getting Finch. It is such a perfect app for selfcare and it’s so helpful! It makes selfcare seem a lot easier and more fun to do. One thing I do wish for is that a text message box would be added so we can actually talk to people on the app because sometimes I want to write a paragraph to someone to say how much I love their birds outfit or just a kind message to say they’re doing well and have a little chat with them. If that was added I would give finch a 5 star rating. Overall the app is very good and I highly recommend getting..Version: 3.61.0

Finch is amazing! To be honest, Finch has absolutely helped me with everything in my life! When I’m feeling down or stressed, I always go to Finch because I know it will always make me feel cheered up and happy as soon as I use it. In my opinion, I think Finch really can help people with a lot of things such as, helping manage your stress/anxiety, it can also help with your depression, it also helps with your metal and physical well being! What I live about this app is that it just has a way of helping with everything! If I have a problem or I’m just not feeling it that day I know that Finch will be there for me to help. But there’s only one thing that I think could change to be better. Lately when I have been trying to write reflections, it lets me write for a little bit and then it kicks me out of the app! For anything else that u do in the app it’s fine, but any time I try to write a reflection, it doesn’t work and kicks me out. If there is anything you could do to help me with this, it would be absolutely amazing. Besides that, Finch is the most perfect app to help you with you health and mental and physical well being. If you ever feel like you’re stressed out or feeling anything of worry or doubt, I would go to Finch because it will always help with anything! Finch overall is an amazing app and should definitely be rated 5 stars!.Version: 3.66.15

Can’t Recommend This EnoughI have never used a self-care app so great. I usually end up deleting such apps after 2 to 3 days because I lack the motivation to keep up with them, but I have had this for over a week and have no plans of ever getting rid of it. I really can’t recommend it enough. The best parts are: + ‘Raising’ the pet isn’t taxing at all. It starts its journey in the morning and comes back after 6/7 hours to share what it found and learnt. + You can keep it as a widget(!!!) This really helped me because I often forget about apps if they’re hidden away in folders, but seeing my pet on my home screen always reminds me to check up on him and fill in more journals and complete more goals. + There are insights so you can see how your motivation and mood fluctuated throughout the days and weeks. + It’s a very stress-free app that brings me a lot of happiness when I use it. The only things I would say to improve are: 1) being able to interact with the pet more than once a day. Perhaps some mini games or conversations and such before it sleeps? And 2) being able to set specific goals of our own (or just a more varied variety, really!) Despite that, though, those complaints still aren’t enough to rate this app any less than 5 stars. It has really helped my depression so much and I can really feel that the developers care for the users. I highly recommend!.Version: 2.9.3

Love this appI love this app so much and I especially love that you can support friends goals in this app. Only suggestion maybe there could be more animals that you can grow instead of just birds?? Just wanted to put it out there but seriously this app is amazing.Version: 3.67.16

Thank youThis is one of my top apps, it’s so wonderful and I highly recommend paying the annual subscription. It is very versatile and customisable so you can get it to work for your wellbeing and benefit. For example I’m someone who loves lists and the goals you can set on here daily or weekly ect, are completely customisable and you can link them to certain journeys like health or creativity and helps you see how doing the little things each day build up. If someone is more into journaling then there’s plenty of space to write your thoughts. There’s the element of kindness between members and an option to add people who aren’t members onto a family tree so you can see you support network. Not forgetting there breathing exercises, yoga and stretch routines you can do with the help of the app. There’s so much more I could say because there’s little treasures everywhere in this app and it’s been a real source of comfort and reliability for me during some very dark periods of my life..Version: 3.66.18

Great app/game,This app has been a amazing way to relax and vent about my problems, cute designs and a adorable character..Version: 3.19.1

This app is BRILLIANT!I have been looking for a good to do list /schedule app for ages and tried so many - what I love about finch is the added layers of mood, word and phrase tracking, weekly updates on YOU and YOUR actions and words, quizzes, space to journal and reflect with or without prompts, being able to schedule tasks daily weekly or on certain days only, groups with COLOUR CODING which is music to my brain, with stress and anxiety help with breathing, soundscapes and even exercises, you can add friends or even add people, objects or activities to reflect and interact with, all wrapped up with this adorable (and customisable) little pet who just wants to adventure - would recommend trying this to anyone! After a 7 day free trail I was so impressed I bought yearly membership which isn’t expensive compared to other apps..Version: 3.52.1

Saved my life, thank you! There’s been so much care and thought out into this app, the community is amazing, you actually feel attached to your finch, and in this day and age where cheap cash grabs is everything in apps, you can fully enjoy and benefit from this app without paying a dime. But it is also super worth it to get Finch Plus. It’s just so perfectly balanced. The exercises and all that stuff slowly helped me get up and saved my life. I don’t know if I’d even be motivated to do any chores without my finch. You also guide your finch to grow so it kinda fulfils the sense of “I want to do right where my parents screwed up”. I love this app so much. Alongside Cakes I’ve also grown so much. I genuinely feel so much love toward this app and its developers, thank you soso much <3 I’m so glad today I could afford being an ally and support others!.Version: 3.49.2

Amazing for AnxietyI love the mental health first aid courses on here, and how easy it is to keep track of progress. A great app for maintaining mental health and awareness.Version: 3.67.16

The best! (Developers please reply)So this game is great! 💕 There are many fun activities! 👍 Whoever made this put a lot of effort into this to make it so good! 😊☺️ If you can developers can you plz reply? It’s fine if you can’t, just want to know! 😀 Another thing about this app is that it has daily updates just to make the game better! Which isn’t really necessary knowing the game is the best it can be! 🦋🤭 If you read this this is a 100% real reply and I love this game it is the best and everyone who has played this knows it is! 😉 Nobody can say otherwise so yep this game is my favourite game thanks for reading this I really appreciate it now bye for now and thank you for making this amazing game and putting all of your effort into it you didn’t need to do that because this game is awesome! xox Aimee xx.Version: 3.33.4

The only self care app I’ve continuously usedI can’t put my finger on one thing that makes this app so much better than the rest in the market. It’s beautifully designed, easy to use and there’s so much choice. Thank you to the creators!.Version: 3.65.3

#blessedI’m so thankful for this amazing app and its supportive community 🫰I have tried like six different planner/habit tracking apps this year and Finch comes out on top! It’s cozy-cute little environment is less stressful and overwhelming than other tracker apps, and Waffles, my bird, keeps me engaged with the app and I check it on my own without reminders (and with reminders bc i added a few :P.) I love that every time I open the app it asks me about my mood because some apps limit the mood selections to once daily- which quite frankly just isn’t realistic. I use the free version and I LOVE IT. It doesnt limit the apps functionality (which I’ve seen on free versions of certain habit apps- one even limiting you to THREE GOALS A DAY unless you pay for it- not cool.) I’ve only been using it for a week, but I will certainly willingly pay for the full version once Ive created a secure habit out of using the app. OH And the fact that you can “sponsor” someone else to have the full benefits of the app? Literally so sweet, I cried when I first saw it <3 My current suggestion is to allow you to see certain reflections from people in your friend tree. I like to reflect about my sister and would love to have the ability to toggle showing her my memories about us growing up together, and it would be nice to see what she thinks of me!.Version: 3.66.7

🙏🙏🙏It’s fun get it.Version: 3.15.1

Finch AppSo far from what I’ve tried I’m enjoying the app with its user friendly design and interactive content 👍 - give it a try 🙂.Version: 3.3.2

Where has this been?I’m really impressed by this app. Maybe I just had low expectations but driving mental health using a pet feels revolutionary! Really well done, great execution on all the ways Finch is motivating users to take care of themselves. I could write a blog post with all the ways this has been done haha. Two things that lower my rating (only slightly though, because the app is great otherwise): 1. Buggy/slow on opening A few times when I’ve opened the app it freezes, or loads slowly (only displays my birb walking). I hard resettled it once or twice, but one time it (maybe in combination with other things happening on my device) made my phone freeze and I had to hard restart it. 2. Tags need some work I love the idea of tracking progress in the app, and I think the larger picture is helpful (eg the chart of how you’re doing over time, the day by day display of what you did well). But my newsletters categorize my positive/negative associations of my tags based on my status at the time of logging. Eg, the prompt was “what are you thankful for”, but because I said I was 2/5 in wellness, it associated all those good things (my family, dancing, etc) as negatives. 3. Can we get more visible language on how our data is handled? Hesitant to share too much because of this. The benefits outweigh the negatives though, imo. Listing negatives more as feedback!.Version: 3.4.0

Best Mental Health AppLooking after your own cute little bird is by the best motivation to do my daily goals! For example brushing my teeth! But for it to work you have to really want to actually complete these goals and better yourself, it won’t help you by itself haha, nor will any other mental health app. I love dressing up my little finch and taking him on adventures!! They also have daily rewards that you receive for your pet finch if you complete a certain amount of goals!! Collecting all the prizes everyday for the month is so fun and really keeps you motivated to look after yourself! 🥰🥰.Version: 3.52.0

Finch is changing and saving livesFinch has led to huge improvements in my health. The developers really ‘get’ how hard it can be to stay alive and keep functioning. When I first started using Finch, at suggestion of a psychologist who had heard about it, it felt manageable. The simple starting goals - ‘survive the day’, ‘get out of bed’ - were ones I related to. I couldn’t achieve much, but I did manage to survive the day. ‘Finally, something that’s achievable for me’, I thought. I haven’t bothered to make my bed for many years - ‘what’s the point? What difference will that make’. But it does make a difference. I’ve now been able to add more goals and am functioning better than I have in many years. When I look at what’s changed since I started using Finch that could otherwise explain why I’m doing better, there’s one thing, but I truly think it’s mainly Finch. It’s amazing how being kind to an artificial bird on a screen can lead to greater self care and improved functioning. I really like how the data only stays on your phone, so there’s no corporate spying or data theft. With so much surveillance, lack of privacy, hacking etc these days, that’s an important feature. Thank you to the developers for your wonderful initiative. You are changing - and saving - many lives..Version: 3.67.6

The best mental health app EVER!!!This was one of the first apps I downloaded thinking I would have to search for ages to find a good one bug this one is soooo great. After using it for a week I promptly deleted all the other apps. I love the fact you are looking after a little birb and they are so cute! And the fact it’s a great app without the plus option it’s so good and the fact that people can get sponsored is so good! And the sponsorships are set up so well, you can chi how many people to sponsor and also do it for 1 month or every month and you can sponsor up to 15 people at a time! It just makes the app really accessible and gives it a lovely sense of community. And it’s really ADHD friendly with bright interesting colours and motivational quotes every time you open the app. With this ,the sponsorships and the fact you can add your friends and send them nice messages and see their houses it is just an all round great app and I 100% recommend it as I did for all my friends..Version: 3.61.0

Super cute and playfulThis is a super cute and playful way of setting daily goals and habits. My daughter found it and so far it’s a good way for her to gain more self-responsibility in her daily life. It’s nice to get little rewards for tasks and activities, and the desire to “buy” cute things for our Finch keeps us motivated to keep doing tasks. We can send each other good vibes and connect are over doing chores and habits in a playful way..Version: 3.67.6

This is honestly the best self care appI’ve been using finch since end of January this year after a friend recommended it to me to help me with my mental health and honestly finch really helps me to understand my triggers, track my days and overall try to look after myself better. I’ve been at rock bottom many times before, although since using finch to help calm myself down. Spotting my triggers my overall mood has been better and even if you don’t really struggle with your mental health I would still recommend finch as it’s so good and the developers have done such a good job on the app. I don’t have the premium version of the app however the free version does almost all the same and is still good. My finch bird (Zack) is always happy and supportive and helps me to look after myself and as said before helps to lift my mood. Overall I recommend finch to all..Version: 3.66.2

I love itFinch is awesome your pet keeps you motivated and it’s so cute I love it and it’s adorable!!.Version: 3.15.1

Best app everIf you’re looking for a self care app that’s actually good and really motivating then look no further! this app has everything from mindfulness to reflection to goal setting and more! the little bird is honestly the cutest thing ever and being able to see it’s personality develop is so motivating! having friends in your tree is really good too, because you can send each other hugs, strength, calm, or simply say hi and it’s so cute to see their bird visiting you. the only problem I have with the app is that you can only add up to 8 friends, which is bad because I’ve recommended this app to everyone I know and I don’t have enough space for everyone! if you could add more friends in a future update that would make this app even better! only having up to 8 friends is my only issue with the app but other than that go download it, you won’t regret it :).Version: 3.1.0

Loving this appSo helpful to me! As a late diagnosed Autistic, I am grateful to have help managing and improving my self care..Version: 3.68.1

Great app! This is a great app that really helps your mental health, it creates healthy habits and you can hook up with other people who have finch which is awesome! I went on an adventure with my besties finch and it really made us a lot closer. I think the best part is that it is basically free, I say basically because the only place where there is adds is the shop bit where you can get your finch outfits but that’s really it. The whole app works good enough quality that you’d think you’ve already paid for it ! One of the best apps I’ve downloaded for many years. Thankyou to the creators of finch for creating such a safe and mindful place to relax at the end of long days ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷🖤🤍.Version: 3.67.14

A beautiful appThis app is fantastic. Despite its simplicity and design which at first may seem more appropriate for children , I found that after using for even just a week , the meaningful bits of wisdom and reflection that comes from it is definitely improving how I view my day. I love how it encourages self reflection and other forms of mindfulness without being too demanding or patronising and strikes the perfect balance between an app that provides both comfort and a challenge when navigating mental health and personal growth . I also appreciate that even without paying money for the premium version of the app, the free version has everything one could need and doesn’t feel like it’s lacking in any feature, widening its access to many more people. Overall , it is evident that this app was created by people who genuinely care about bettering lives and I hope they continue to grow and advance their app with this ethos. Thank you to the creators ! :).Version: 3.5.3

Finch rating 5 starsFinch is the best app on my phone I am mentally attached to my little birb they are adorable.Version: 3.5.1

FinchFinch has really helped with taking more control over my mental state it doesn’t necessarily fix it but it allows me to track it, understand it and is such a positive distraction that often allows to clear my mind, the design featuring the bird motivates me to do it everyday and helps me be honest and thoughtful, I highly recommend this app it has and amazing “first aid” section that can help with panic attack and overall creates a positive space on my phone to have a certain control or no judgmental (due to its privacy) understanding of how my mental state is going , premium is also definitely worth it as it essentuates to already brilliant app also helps provide all those around the world with a mental health assist. Any and all ways you use the app is positive and overall has had a positive affect on me :)).Version: 3.3.1

I love finch sooo much ❤️ it just needs a bit of fixingAs you guys know from the title I love finch so much, the penguin is soooo cute and the soo always manages to motivate me to get up from my bed and be productive, even if that’s just washing my face or drinking water. Although nearly everything in this app is perfect, the soundscapes are lacking a bit in quality. What I mean by this is that when I press on a soundscape to listen to it’s relaxing and everything at first but the way the sounds are looped is a bit weird because you can tell it’s a loop like the sound randomly stops then it repeats and as I sleep while listening to these soundscapes it makes it a bit uncomfortable for me so the creators of finch please look at this review, thanks so much- and on that note, I just want to say finch is an amazing app and I recommend whoever is reading this to download it because you will not regret it. Thanks and bye. ❤️.Version: 3.64.3

Finch is helping me so much! Thanks Finch for helping me on my journey to become healthy and happy!.Version: 3.23.3

ReviewThis really helped and motivated me to get up and complete the things that I need to do..Version: 3.39.2

AmazingFun way for you to be a better version of you!.Version: 3.64.2

Unique app, really helpful but needs some improvementsI’m not buying the full version just because there are some parts of the app that are lacking and need improvement. The main one is the stretching exercises. In my opinion each exercise should be 30 seconds long (right side 30secs then left side 30secs) not 1 minute for each side, it’s too long. It also isn’t helpful if you choose a 1 minute exercise because according to the app you can only do one side of your body in that minute. It would also be helpful if it was explained how to do the exercises. I do yoga and stretching so I’m familiar with some but people who don’t might not be. Another thing which I think would improve the app is being able to write your own goals on the goals section instead of having to choose from a list. Overall though, this app has really helped me with my journalling and evening reflections which is what I download it for. If those few things were improved the app would be perfect! And would be worth buying it.Version: 2.11.8

Self care I never thought would helpThis has won all the awards in my book. I’ve tried a few self care apps, and this is the one I’ve stuck with the most even only having used it a few short months. I feel connected to my buddy and check in multiple times a day which I’ve not been able to do otherwise to watch them grow and learn while being with me on a difficult journey. The expansive individuality this app provides is top tier, and the developers are constantly checking in with the apps users to make it an environment that quickly squashes bugs and brings in suggested features. Plus you can build a community to be there for you and your birb. I’ve never found an app that helps me thrive as much as I’m starting to while using Finch..Version: 3.40.3

My Finch ReviewFinch is a fun, cute, funny and helpful little game. It really does help your mental state and point of view whilst making it fun. The game lets you train a little Finch and bring him up. If you complete your tasks your Finch grows more healthy and smart. It’s so adorable and you can give him a little outfit. I’m only on day two and feel a lot more healthy and happy. My friends and I have a town and enjoy sending each other waves and hugs through the chat feature. If there was one thing I wish the app had it would be the ability to play with your little dude, for eg. having a little place where you can rub his or her tummy or tickle it and here it laugh or throw a ball and play fetch. Overall good app and would recommend for mental health and fun. 4/5⭐️.Version: 3.19.1

Love this appLiterally so cute and i love it endlessly, like the more you complete goals and write reflections, you get energy for your pet and then you can buy fricking cute outfits for them. i love thisssss.Version: 3.0.9

Helped with mental healthThe little reminders I get every day to take care of my little birdie helped me so much simple task like getting out of bed, taking a shower and what not GameChanger it download it!.Version: 3.68.1

I love this, but…I love this app but there’s not a lot to do on it like I like new discoveries I like the friends but there’s no activity they should be like meeting other people, And you should go ahead and call adventures with them. They can be like a coin of all or like a mini video game. you should be able to build your own all hill play and have more fun with us. I had a couple invited attacks and it the app didn’t really do anything it doesn’t help that much and I’ll keep it, but it doesn’t let you be interactive. Please take this into consideration about maybe like a little video game where you kinda like ClassDojo, will you get to meet other characters and see other peoples homes like prodigy and it should have a menu a mini video game where you can like to obstacles and build and help teamwork others people. it’s not much to do on the app and I’m getting kind of bored of it yes Finch is a really cute one but it’s not that fun anymore because it’s just a daily thing and then that’s it and it can get annoying. And also I feel like you should be able to talk to and chat with other fish people and you should be able to choose Who are you talk to. And you can like have play dates sort of with all the characters and owners. You could also change and be able to choose what you look like. You could also put your pronouns and your style. You should also be able to put what you like and what you think is fun, and just add mini games mini games really fun.Version: 3.30.2

Adorable, Helpful, and Not AnnoyingI got finch with my sister and we haven't stopped using it for the past 3 months. Even if you don't always feel motivated to complete goals, it is nice to write in your reflections/rant about things. I like that you can view trends about certain people or even what brought you down/motivated you throughout the entire week. My finch is named DJ. He is so cute and I just love dressing him up. Besides the app itself being enjoyable, I think the team of people who work on Finch care a lot about it. You can tell they genuinely want to help people get through their days. This can be seen in the inclusiveness of the app and the lack of ads. There are no ads on Finch, and it makes the app less frustrating. The only thing you can purchase as an expansion to the app is Finch Plus, which gives you extra goals, reflections, and quizzes. Even then, the app never bombards you with in-app purchases. It jsut really makes it more comfortable for people to log in daily even if it is just for a few minutes. Also, like I said, Finch is very inclusive. You can change pronouns for your finch or even dress it up in pride flag themed clothing. Which by the way, the pride clothes are not just labeled as "bisexual shirt" or "asexual shirt" They are named by the colors so that it is more inclusive to everyone and have safe names for lgbtq+ people to buy. My #1 feature that I enjoy is seeing the mood trends i have with particular people in my tree..Version: 3.15.0

Finch reviewSo so good! 😍.Version: 3.5.1

Amazing!I have tried other apps for self care and exercise and nothing has worked because I never feel motivated. I normally have a hard time actually getting up and doing something because I can’t be bothered but finch has actually made me motivated to do things. I like that as well it doesn’t even have to do big tasks/ goals you can literally just do something like brush your teeth for surviving the day. At first I thought that ok I will try this app and thought that I would probably forget about it a few days later but I have actually been on it every day since I got it. This app is amazing and I was surprised that a bird that needs me helps me to feel motivated. This app is also great because you get to dress up your bird in cute clothes and watch it grow and go on adventure. Honestly this is the best self care app ever!.Version: 3.15.1

Great, but…It’s an amazing app and really helps me go along, but it’s because you have to pay. I personally don’t think you should have to pay for s̷e̷l̷f̷ care. You can do all this stuff by making your own websites and games. I would really consider making more things free because what I have doesn’t seem like enough and definitely won’t be for some people. Yes there is some free things that do help, I love the app it’s just that you shouldn’t have to. I am going to carry on using this app to help myself, but a recommendation: make more things free. My family has enough going on and the moment and we’re short on money, I can’t afford this so I’m not going to pay, but thank you for the app. Edit: Finch have an option for if you can’t afford it. I am 11 years old and have bad , this app is absolutely great and I am hopefully being bought it. I know what I said before was very critical but seeing the option button ‘can’t afford this option really brought my opinions back on the line. Thank you for making an option for me..Version: 3.52.5

ExcellentI love this app! Both my boy friend and I have found it very helpful for getting our goals done and feeling rewarded even by achieving little goals it feels good. It is also excellent for good self care! There are breathing excercises and different things to help you think more positively. Another thing we love is how cute it is with the bird and that doing our tasks means we can buy new outfit accessories or house decor and we love that because it’s like a cute game that helps you be proactive in a gentle way in real life as well as it having a cute bird to spoil from getting things done. We have much more proactive since using this app and will most likely use this app all of the time, at the moment we use it a few times a day!.Version: 3.61.0

I never expected this to work as well as it doesBut it works! This app has done something I never thought would be possible for me: it has successfully incentivized me to be productive and compassionate with myself. I deal with anxiety and depression on a daily basis. It often makes it very difficult to do simple things like get out of bed and shower or leave the house. But all of this is becoming a lot easier since I downloaded this app! Finch has revolutionized my self-care process. I love the way that Finch characterizes my baby Bonbon. I feel like there is real thought and consideration put into certain actions like the little chats we have, as well as the constantly evolving customization options and the main mode of currency. It feels less like a to-do list and more like building a loving relationship with a Tamagotchi-like pet. It gamifies without feeling intrusive or resorting to micro transactions (though, they are there, along with a paid subscription option) At the end of the day, I know the company needs to make money, but everything about Finch—from its soft and comforting colors and characters, to its gentle messages and array of mindfulness/ self care options—genuinely feels tenderly designed and more indicative of human touch than I ever thought would be possible in a self-care app. I love this app. I love my baby Bonbon. I love getting virtual hugs from my friends. I’m so happy I downloaded this app after my friend sent me the invite..Version: 3.67.10

Love ItFirstly, I struggle with anxiety and severe depresssion. This game has been absolutely amazing and I have loved every moment of growing my Finch, to taking car of myself as well. This app is truly amazing, I have tried 20+ self care apps, giving up after the first week of all of them. This one I have stuck with for a very long time now, and I am so happy to have found it, because it actually worked!! Thankyou so much developer, you have made an amazing app that helps me through my panic attacks, moments of extremely scary depressive thoughts and many more. Thankyou..Version: 3.9.1

Loving This AppI have a potential ADHD style brain and can struggle with my well-being despite being highly functional everywhere else. Someone recommended this app to me. I love having everything in one place such as soundscapes, stretches, personal daily goals, space to reflect etc. and I’m sure I’ve only used a fraction of what’s available. Interacting with my fondly named ‘Wooble’ actually keeps it interactive for me, which suits my brain. If I just had an app to write my goals in I would soon stop using it. A massive highlight for me has been the soundscapes - I didn’t appreciate how they would affect my mood and help me focus. I love them. Also, I stop and reflect now on a regular basis and I really value that. Would highly recommend this app to anyone with a brain like mine!.Version: 3.29.2

Fun and keeps me motivated!I struggle to feel accomplished and this help me realize I actually do a lot more than I think . Helped me also with self esteem and recognize my mood ..Version: 3.68.1

AmazingBest self care app i’ve ever used.Version: 3.67.16

Best self-care app outLove the app and love that it’s by just two people! Saw the reviews and couldn’t believe what magic you’ve created! Have tried countless apps and knew this one would be the perfect fit the minute I saw it. You clearly understand the biggest issue with CBT/self-care apps is that it’s HARD to be accountable for your own self-care. I would use other self-help apps ONLY on days I felt good and could never motivate myself to actually face them on bad days. What your app offers is the encouragement that self-care will grow SOMETHING more than just your mental well-being. You are attaching a physical concept to self-care and checking in and making it so so so much easier to do for a lot of people. You advertised to me on a day I had a complete relapse and I downloaded it on the spot. I have used it every day since and I am shocked that it’s been a week and I’m still checking in daily - and now enjoying it! Thank you for realising the problem consumers face and answering it. This is truly an example of consumerism done right - thank you for giving me light to face the darkness. You have done a remarkable job..Version: 2.10.0

Awesome and adorableI never normally write reviews but I have to make my thoughts known; I think it is fantastic. The concept of the app a great way to make you realise that anything can be an achievement to you no matter how small, and reflecting on the positives every day has really lifted my mood, even on days that I feel my worst. It’s also got opportunities for writing down worries or sleep problems etc which there’s not much opportunity to document in every day life, so you feel like you’ve got something off your chest. I love the little things about the bird too - naming it, looking after it and it shows you its little personality traits which is adorable. There’s also quizzes and little meditations which I’ve always found helpful. I have struggled with anxiety and a chronic illness for years and the healthcare in my country is terrible so it’s difficult to get treatments for mental health, obviously it’s not a cure or therapy or anything but this app does make me feel a bit brighter..Version: 3.23.3

So helpful and too cute!I am in love with this app and I’m grateful to have seen an ad for it on TikTok! It actually helps me to get what i need done, helps me stay motivated, set goals for myself, and achieve them! Its helped me to better my life while keeping my attention on my goal and the app so i dont lose motivation or focus! This little bird you raise has all sorts of questions about the world, every time you complete a goal he gains energy to then go on an adventure, with the more energy you gain the quicker he comes back home with various questions about the world. Your little bird will gain various likes and dislikes based on how you answer his questions and I love seeing how he changes and grows, seeing what he likes and dislikes, and even customizing my little bird and his house. These things help me to keep the app around and actually use it while completing my goals. Have you ever had someone tell you to treat yourself for completing a goal? Answering my bird’s questions and seeing him develop is like the treat for me, it keeps me tackling my goals and feeling good about it. Not to mention, sure, there are things you can pay for that would be cool to access, but the free version (since i do not have the money right now) is great by itself! I love this app so much, thank you to the developers for making this, i’ve never found an app more helpful!.Version: 3.38.3

Cutest ever.I love this SO much. my finch, pickles, helps me so much. i’m on half a year on this app! it has done so much for me. but would you ever add the option to switch out/change the appearance of your finch? i didn’t understand how it worked at first and i think pickles is kinda ugly and i desperately want to alter his appearance..Version: 3.2.3

Totally life changingI downloaded finch after seeing a recommendation on the App Store, and I guess it knew what I needed more than I did myself. The free version is still packed with features that come with the paid, so even if you don’t subscribe you aren’t missing out on the condor the app offers. Being a 90’s kid I compare finch to a tamagotchi but better because the bird doesn’t die from forgetting them for 4 hours. It offers simple ways to get dopamine and complete day to day tasks. I am ADHD, depression and anxiety, so I struggle with routine alot but finch has managed to help me maintain my daily activities and mental wellbeing. Thank you so much for making this app..Version: 3.31.1

Super cuteHonestly love this app so much.Version: 3.68.1

No seriously, get it.I have been going through a lot of mental stuff for a while, I have anxiety and depression and running self-diagnoses of ADHD. I can’t focus on literally anything and my brain doesn’t like to keep track of important things like homework. I got this app out of desperation, totally expecting it to be stupid and deleted within the day. Then I got my bird. Her name is cheesecake. I am now wholeheartedly attached to this bird. Not only has this app made it so that I feel an extra happy kick every time I finish my tasks by getting gems or energy, but everyday it sends me messages to assure me and I swear I almost cried the first time it sent me one. This app is as amusing and adorable as it is practical and I love raising my bird and finally catching up on school work. I made both my sisters get it so I could have a tree town and we send each other little hugs or calm vibes all day. There is a paid version I have not tried. It isn’t necessary in order to use most of the app. So don’t let that stop you. I love the simplicity of the app, no games, no streaks, no pressure to constantly get on the app to stay on track, though you can set reminders, you just hang out and raise your finch. I love it. I can honestly think of nothing I would change. Except maybe add like a tutu for the birds to wear because that would be cute, so thank you to the developers, you saved my gpa and mental health..Version: 3.0.10

CooolNice.Version: 3.11.0

Absolutely Amazing. I am so happyI have had extreme anxiety since I was a little child. I have tried everything. Therapy, calming apps, sleeping more, and healthier eating. Nothing has truly helped and cured my anxiety. This app I have had for less than an hour and I have already use this to prevent a panic attack. I am so in love with this app already and I haven’t even had it for a day. It is not only interactive, but you can rant about how you feel, you can listen to rain sounds, which is one of my most popular methods of reducing my anxiety. It’s quite literally a diary, a safe space and a music area all in one. One thing that’s amazing about this app is that most things are free and you can still listen to the rain sounds without subscribing which a lot of these anxiety apps do not give you. All I’ve got to say is thank you. I am so grateful for this app. this is probably one of the best apps I own!.Version: 3.37.2

Five star app, lots of lovely beneficial sectionsI got this app a little while ago it’s hard sometimes for me to stay on track with it but I know that’s just me, and unlike other mental health apps I don’t feel uncomfortably obligated to check it, it feel like I’m just checking in with my lil friend that I can’t wait to see grow up and help by helping myself. The shop and the seasonal outfits keep me coming back for sure(trynna get those fairy wings), at first I was a bit lazy when checking out the app and thought it was just a to do list but then I saw the journaling, breathing exercises, mental health quizzes, exercises, etc all for free. I had to recommend it to my friends. The plus is worth it too opens up more soothing sounds and mental health exercises I can’t afford it at this moment but can’t wait to get it. I honestly hope people see and read this comment I was going through and a lot of people are hating on the team but it says in the app there are only 8 members (started with 2) and they are looking for more people to work with(with a job link in the app), I also love the guardian section and affirmations I didn’t understand at first but I’m glad I didn’t give up on my finchie or the app, being able to log my mood and review my habits has been very beneficial, thank you finch team :).Version: 3.65.5

First app I’ve used for longer than 3 days for habits & self careHonestly, I’ve never opened most habit, self care, daily journal apps more than once. I’m on Day 3 of 7 trialling premium, and honestly it’s an amazing app. I believe some slight feature additions would be great which I’ll list below: - An easier way to access and review goals you set for future dates (like a calendar, maybe 2-3 days though), such as “set goals for tomorrow”, - A reminder if something is already on your goals list for that day, and an option to add it any way (ie brushing teeth) - Restyling of some of the questions in auto tagged text submissions when clicked on in the “Add to goals” section as some don’t make sense, ie, I’ve had “Schedule time for soap” with #Soap - Some extra categories for things like Hygiene, or the ability to write something in the “Other” options I think you’ve got really great, solid foundations to build on. Really great job, I think it’s going to become very popular..Version: 2.9.3

Best To Do/Self Help App I’ve foundCan’t tell you how amazing Finch is. I struggle with severe mental illness and it’s helped me build up what I’m able to do on a daily basis in a fun and addictive way. Very motivating to hit goals when you can dress up your birb and kit out your birb house in the way you like. It’s self help sections are amazing for a complex PTSD survivor. Everything from breathing exercises to deep diving triggers to stretches. Can’t recommend this app enough to everyone I meet!!! Great job Finch!! 🏆.Version: 3.66.11

So adorable! Very helpfulIt’s the perfect balance between productive and fun. I wish there was more room to earn currency but that much aside it is perfect..Version: 3.68.1

Love the app, wish non-Plus was more rewardingSuggestion: Please consider giving higher rewards for scheduled evening goals? I’m motivated to complete tasks earlier in the day. But once your energy is full, the rewards are minimal. My nighttime routines are the most important for me personally, and it would be helpful to have more motivating rewards. Eg. higher rainbow stone rewards for goals completed after you fill your energy, or for scheduled evening goals. Review: I love this app! As an adult with ADHD who struggles to prioritize taking care of myself, this is so helpful. It has the dopamine boost of a game/rewards, without the distractibility of an actual game. It’s very helpful to externally motivate me to take care of myself and basic life tasks, eg drinking water, listening to my body when it’s hungry, taking my meds, taking time for myself. Suggestion 2: I only wish the free version was more rewarding. Especially for event rewards, the non-Plus needs to have a few more guaranteed items and less random chests towards the end of the event days. I ended up just paying for Plus because I wanted the additional daily event rewards and options of clothes/decor to serve as motivation for me to stick with my goals. And I understand the developers need money to help them continue to run such an awesome app! But I do wish the non-Plus was slightly more rewarding for events / had more options..Version: 3.51.1

I should’ve downloaded this way sooner!Honestly Finch has been life changing. Not only is my productivity much better, but I’ve found myself being a lot more mindful, more focused on taking care of myself and less overwhelmed when it comes to day-to-day tasks. My little birb friend is one of the first things I think about each day, and has done wonders in helping to improve my overall wellbeing. Huge shout-out to the creators for such an incredible app, as well as all the Guardians who have donated towards a great cause. I recommend this to everyone! Cheep, cheep!.Version: 3.63.3

I’m in love!!!I have tried so many apps like these, mental health apps, task apps all kinda apps and they never ever stick! But somehow they’ve managed to combine them all and made it the most enjoyable experience ever! I’ve named my bird Tofu and he’s so cute 🥹 they’ve got tasks like “look in the mirror and say “I can do it” which is so cute or “survive the day or “just be” which are just so nice to not have to put all these unrealistic goals for yourself and actually feel like you’ve done something by the end of the day when you really just can’t do anything. I cannot recommend this app enough! My friends are gonna be sick of me talking about my cute little baby tofu but who cares 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼.Version: 3.31.0

Finch :)The birds are very cute and I love sending little messages to friends! Buying clothes for your bird provides more of an incentive to complete tasks. This app has definitely helped my self-care as I’m pretty forgetful about it.Version: 3.37.2

I love my little birb buddyFinch has been really nice to use and has helped me be more consistent with self care and logging my moods. The oush notifications send cute little messages rather than ones that make you feel guilty for not opening the app, and unlocking my phone to see my bird widget on the home page always makes me feel a bit better.Version: 3.13.0

Thank you so muchI wanted to continue on another rating I made! I’ve been having a lot of trouble with depression, anxiety, social anxiety, and having a lot of trouble with my mental health. I’ve been dealing with a lot because of everything and the way I feel about myself. I see negative in everything and I have low self esteem and have a lot of hate Towards myself and everybody else especially past friends, friends and family. I felt very bad Talking to anyone of the way I felt and whenever I did they just made me feel bad about it or I usually felt selfish to tell somebody how I feel or just bad when I did. I would feel useless to everyone and always would hide my emotions before. I’ve always thought of just taking my life because I feel so tired mentally and when I saw finch I thought it was a cute game to upgrade a cute little bird and see their growth but it was to help me with my growth. Finch helps me express and say how I feel and how it’s going for me every day and say things I feel to scared to tell anyone and it’s just been helping so much and I’m so happy I saw it. It also lets you choose pronouns which makes me feel very happy and comfortable. I love this so much and it’s helped me a lot even with a short amount of time. I thank you guys for making it, helping other people. I recommend for people who need it to get it for any help you. Thank you.Version: 2.11.8

Add gamesPlease add an update to play games with your finch.Version: 3.15.0

Finch is helpfulMy pet milly has made a large impact. she makes me feel credited by my progress and simple tasks that i have found hard in the past. it’s also really fun dressing her up. i love the likes and dislikes they develop, and milly is friends with my friends pet marbles and it’s nice that i can send things to him when im thinking of him. amazing app!.Version: 3.66.1

Love this app!!This app is so cute and has been so helpful in helping me remember to do everyday tasks I usually struggle remembering to do or getting through! It’s honestly been so amazing and it got me motivated about tiny things like brushing my teeth so I could get points and send my baby on an adventure! Love the idea! I highly recommend this app! And I’m even considering getting premium because it’s such a great price for a great little app! I would like to see different animals though, the finch/bird is soooo adorable but I’m not super big on birds But. It would be good if the tag system was more accurate and more flexible, I find sometimes it won’t make a link between the correct feeling and the action/activity, and the notification sounds never work unless I’m connected to speaker..Version: 3.2.3

AmazingThis app is awesome it really helped with my mental health.Version: 3.55.5

Amazing self care app, has helped me so muchThis app has changed my life. I love how you have to do tasks to start your birds adventure! I also love the fact that every day when you do tasks, your finch grows and tells you cute things about it’s day, and you start building a personality for it by checking off your goals and writing about your feelings. and it doesn’t end there. You can customise your finch, and it’s home as much as you want!! You can also get friends. I love adding my friends as you send each other little messages throughout the day, it’s so sweet and makes me feel loved. Lastly, the app sends you notifications every few hours reminding you that your loved, your worth it etc. Great app. Whether your struggling with your mental health or not, I really recommend it!.Version: 3.36.5

AMAZING APP!I absolutely love this app! This is my second day of using it, and I fell in love with it! To be honest, Bailey (my finch) is so cute, she motivates me to do my goals! 😂 I love how this app makes things like cleaning your room fun and easy! I am currently using the free version of this app, and unlike many other apps that are available free but there is a plus version (like duolingo), this one does not press you to get it all the time! I really like that it’s also like a game, being able to age your finch and dress him/her/them up! If you’re reading this review because you’re not sure whether or not to get the app, then take my advice and download it!!! It’ll help you a lot! Also, if you get something at the beginning telling you to pay, don’t worry, it’s just offering you the plus version. Click the X in the corner to get started with the real deal, not just naming your finch and things like that. They also do fun events! I’m typing this during the Halloween event, and it’s adorable! You can have your friends get the app as well, and you can use friend codes to add them on the app. (You know the app is good when I’m a kid and take time to write all THAT about the app). Overall, this is AN AMAZING APP!!! I hope the developers see this, so they can be proud of what a good app they’ve created. ❤️.Version: 3.31.0

Finch 🫶This is a really great app. Although there are a lot of premium things that I do not have access too, I still think the download was worth it. I love my little bird Alice and having the app makes me genuinely excited to live through my day so I can keep checking in on her. Thank you Finch :).Version: 3.66.8

Amazing!!I have used finch for a while now and it isAmazing it’s easy to use it the insights are amazing and everything overall was a great experience I love reflect on how my day is been and what I’ve done and then seeing how my happiness or my upsetting us has evolved of each day and how I can make my day today life better and I think if you were looking for an app that you can reflect on his insights and you can see how your day’s been and how past month how you’ve been affected and all the trends then this is the app for you should definitely get it.Version: 2.7.3

Engaging, Gentle and HeartwarmingThis is such a lovely app! So sweet and gentle! I downloaded it after I heard it recommended somewhere, and I gave it a go at the same time as a few others (I've been trying new organisation/ self care apps), but this is the one that, without noticing, I've been using all the time! I'm honestly very surprised because I have ADHD and I find it very hard to stick to things, but the prompts are gentle and the goals are easy, so it's impossible to feel bad or guilty if you cannot complete them. As a counsellor and as a neurodivergent person, I'm loving the focus on self care and self compassion instead of just productivity; it just works much better for me, and I'm sure it'll be this way for many other people. I struggle with taking time for myself and looking after myself, and Finch is actually making a difference. Very impressed..Version: 3.4.0

An absolute blessingThis app is amazing!!! It has already improved my mental health by helping me to reflect on things that have a positive or negative impact on my life! It understands that sometimes to just survive the day is a big achievement and doesn’t make you feel bad :)) I love looking after my little friend and telling him all about my day, even the smallest details! I would love to be able to add photos to my reflections so that I can look back on my memories and reflections in the past. The community and people that have developed this app clearly care deeply about it and I would just like to say thank you for creating such a gift to all people in this world. I have recommended it to so many people who have come back with a very similar reaction to me! Thank you for helping us all :).Version: 2.11.8

Solid appI struggle with most self care apps but this one is really fun keeps me interested and your lil friend grows.Version: 3.0.9

I love the app but a couple things edit: recommendations for featuresI love how we can set goals and how some journeys for goals are guided but I don’t like how things like alert breathing or stamina breathing are locked if I don’t have Finch Plus. I, like many other people, would benefit greatly from having these features, but because it’s locked for normal users, we don’t get it. I understand that you need to pay your bills n stuff and it’s really hard to do so sometimes, so I’m not mad, but it would be nice to have at least stamina breathing for normal users. Other than that, I find it nice. It would be nice if there were more examples for prompts, but they really help when I can write out what I need to. The breathing exercises help with anxiety and insomnia, which helps because I’ve suffered from both for the longest time. Thank you guys for the amazing app ❤️ please at least consider my requests if you could Edit: I love this app and it’s really helped me with everything as I’ve said before and I got a recommendation for this app. Maybe add a SH timer and education to help fight urges for it, and of course if someone gets triggered by it they could turn off the feature. I don’t know, but people could definitely use the help with that because they are unable to do proper research themselves, of course just a suggestion ❤️.Version: 3.49.5
