There is a weekly mini podcast and a weekly personal reading for your rising sign and how the major transits are affecting you—both recorded by Chani. A library of meditations. Full personal chart analysis of every planet and house, gifts and challenges of how they’re positioned in your chart. AND maybe my favorite thing—you can go in and edit and save the birth info all you want, over and over, so that you can pull a detailed chart analysis and recorded horoscopes for anyone you want. However I am quite bummed that current sky descriptions & weekly reading are gone with the latest update. 😢 It would make sense to have the new current sky tap-expand in the new “week” tab, as I’m digging the new day/week/year organization. These were always INCREDIBLY helpful to my wellness (even more than the transits), way more so than the affirmations & meditations. I subscribe to an astrology app, not a self-help app. Please more astrology, less affirmations. I never use the affirmations, guided meditations, journal prompts or ritual. I just wanna know any the planets. A “learning” tab would be beneficial for house descriptions, basic tutorials, alignment types, etc for the beginners. She’s always 100% right on and I can see how her information helps me navigate. suggestions for the app improvement: allow the app to put in other peoples charts, like partners, parents, roommates, which lets subscriber look at what may be happening for them at the same time - and thus where red flags may be originating from. Also, it would be great if you could look at your chart at the same time you’re listening to the reading. Currently it doesn’t allow you to do that switch over and still keep listening to the audio. ✓ Want to trust, but…My life has been hard from the start. I’m psychologically and emotionally abused daily, after having a mystery illness that was severely debilitating and was neglected during that time when I’d desperately need a “foundation” due to dissociative, panic, and terrifying hallucinations. I went into remission upon the disorder becoming an official diagnosis and having a medication to treat 99% of my symptoms, but had no luck preparing for my future before or since due to continued abuse and unusually bonding situations and strangely coincidental times of bad luck, which have become worse in severity and so often it’s very normal for me. I feel I was put here to have my life slowly eat away at my will to live as I have no one I can trust and I’m seen as worthless yet cannot escape the situation due to being stuck because of my environment and horrible luck. Any progress gained is taken away without rational explanation faster than I received the opportunity, or it’s blocked intentionally bc of abuse from those I love with (my own family). What if my birth chart says what all other clues have pointed to? Which is “you’re screwed!”? I’m afraid I’m beyond help and Spirit has “left me to the wolves”…can this app give hope to a life like MINE?? I’m desperate for any help. ✓ Love it but it’s inconsistentDon’t get me wrong, I love this app, but I find as someone interested in astrology and how it works that the inconsistency and at times lack of astrological details can be frustrating. I would love if in the transits section it told me what sign the planet was transiting, for instance. In the weekly audio readings, I’d love if it consistently named what signs the planets were transiting, and in the personal reading if it consistently named which houses things were occurring in. Often the themes or overall vibe of an astrological event are given but not the details needed to learn more on my own. I can look these things up but it would be great if I didn’t have to. As a neurodivergent person I would also love if there was a summary or weekly written breakdown of the weekly reading, that lists the major astrological events. With auditory processing and short term memory issues I would love a written reference I could look back on as I move through the week! That all being said, I find this app really useful and especially love the chart interpretation feature, and the year ahead readings. ✓ Confused about rising sign change.This app keeps getting even better. I am blown away by Chani’s generosity. I cannot imagine ever being without it. Update*******I still love this app, however in November, I inquired about why my rising sign changed. When I have done whole sign in other classes or when I have cast the chart myself, in whole sign, I am still a Scorpio rising. I received an immediate response and was asked to verify my birth information, take a snap of my internet speed test, what version of IOS I was using and my current location and time zone. I sent all the requested information and never heard back from anyone. I thought maybe someone else on here could help me understand. I just want to understand why, if it is true, that I am now a Libra rising. Is there an added system that CHANI uses? Or is there some technological glitch, which seemed to be the possibility when customer support asked for information like the speed test of my computer. RisingI paid for the Chani app for about 3 months and I really did enjoy the content, it definitely caused me to reflect a lot deeper on myself and my actions towards the kind of world I want to live in and create. However I personally found that as I get older I don’t identify with my rising sign as much anymore as I do my sun and moon sign in a lot of ways, even though all my birth info is accurate down to the time - so the readings consistently felt a little off for me or confusing which is why I unsubscribed. Just something to consider when subscribing that the personalized readings are based on your rising sign. Also since we are giving feedback, and I really want to be honest - as a former blue but now non-partisan loving open-hearted human being who wants the best for each individual person and values personal decision-making, I was a bit disappointed at the bias in pro-vacc stance in the readings and in their hiring process as the business expands and sends out hiring emails. It’s able to utilise astrology in such a way that’s not only mindful and inspiring on a personal level – it focuses on collective awareness and on finding an alignment with our authentic selves in every aspect of life. But the app offers so many different things. Maybe there could be scaled subscriptions to make the app more affordable to more people but restricting some content to those who pay more. I love the weekly reading, journal prompts and notifications about how transits are affecting my chart. However I find it SO annoying that all the information is based on northern hemisphere and/or US time zones. For instance, the week ahead is telling me that today is the New Moon when it’s actually tomorrow. It means that all of the information we are given is off if we live somewhere like Australia or somewhere else in the global south. The subscription price doesn’t seem worth it if we have to do the mental calculations and research to figure out the accurate transits for ourselves. I have some suggestions to make this app even better: one is to have the option to scroll forwards and backwards through daily horoscopes, meditations/affirmations, and transits for a given time frame. Another is to sort the ritual meditations by date or bump the newest ones to the top in case they were missed, and offer a search function for them by purpose/intention. A daily journaling prompt would be cool too! If you could listen to the podcasts while scrolling through the app (like to check your chart for degrees during transits for example) that would be super helpful. I think the buttons for the ritual instructions could be condensed and it would be great to have a push notification that takes you straight to the ritual. Finally, I like the info on the notifications, but they disappear sometimes, and it would be great to have a section for those and notifications for daily horoscopes and transit changes, maybe even a widget! ✓ You need CHANI in your lifeI can’t promise this will be a short & simple review, as I feel the need to try to express what this app has brought to my life… TLDR: I consider myself a novice when it comes to astrology so the resources in this app are well worth their weight in gold. I started out as a monthly subscriber but switched to annual last year as an early birthday gift to myself. It didn’t take long to realize just how much value is packed into this app. I promise, this is the only astrology app you need (and it’s no contest). This app has changed my life. As someone living with adhd and cptsd, my attention span can be shaky at best, even with proper medication/therapy which I am blessed to access, and I have long struggled with forming habits that center my own care. So I deliberately started slow and began with focusing on the weekly readings/meditations so I could work my way up to utilizing all this app has to offer without feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated - and to be clear, this app does not add to those feelings but helps to calm them. All that to say, I was not taking advantage of the journal prompts or the transits, rituals and year ahead tab initially. And holy cow, I was missing out! I am CONSTANTLY sharing about Chani and spreading the word but as a sales professional and educator I can say this soliciting and sales based miscommunication feels sleazy. I prefer my paid content to be ad free, and it is especially concerning since it is you actually doing the soliciting yourself Chani. With the CHANI app and book I’ve gone from herky jerky to smooth sailing in my relationship to the planetary weather. ✓ It is greatI have kept paying for my subscription to this app even through the leanest times, as it really is right up there with the best cosmic weather reports around, and especially comprehensive.

I hope Chani gets enough rest! All the personalised rising sign readings and meditations in the app are brilliant, and she is a real pleasure to listen to with her relaxed, grounded and cheerful style.

The current transits page is also really helpful, and I love the collage style tarots and artwork I had learnt to appreciate from Antero Alli’s work. I appreciate that she considers us Southern Hemisphere locals in her readings as well, some U.S folk don’t think that way.

Two suggestions please: I would love to also be able to access sun sign readings along with rising sign. When I was just getting the newsletter before the app launched, I found both helpful, and still do. The second suggestion is an embarrassingly first world problem, but do you think your programmers could enable the iOS app to run on the newer M1 Macs? It should be pretty simple. Sometimes it is way more convenient to just use a computer than go looking for a phone! And what may be a bug report: I had the early bird discount, but when apple failed to bill my card just once, the discount was gone from my account when I fixed the card payment the next day.
