✓ DisappointedSome very good aspects EXCEPT scans are blurry when viewed on desktop (but readable) and the big one, email receipts are not added to the folders. they’re only put into an eReceipt report. eReceipts aren’t categorized and no way to edit entries. go back to folders and only ones i’ve scanned are there. i doubt anyone needs a list of emailed receipts—i need those found in email slotted into their categories and added to the year/month/quarter. the OCR functions are excellent, but blurry scans and the email issue; i’m going to have to go with zoho for functionality. I’m disappointed. sounded like exactly what i needed without all the extra functions i don’t. boo. PS also i don’t want to pay a fee to QA your app. this is an obvious function that’s missing with the e-mails..EllkaVersion: 0.51.1

✓ Text verification is poorly designed.If you want to capitalise on a market outside the US then maybe make it so that we can input our area code. As I live in the UK. ✓ Sales Tax ReportI downloaded this app to record my receipts for the sole purpose of getting a total of the sales tax when I itemize my deductions doing my taxes. I have to do the business plan in order to get this number from what I can tell. I would have given more stars if they could provide a sum of all taxes on the PDF when export the images with the personal subscription only. Not sure I want to pay $90 a year just for this one function. Otherwise the app seems very easy to use..UKaredVersion: 0.73.2

✓ Nonsense for the no-nonsense crowdTL:DR - Wastes your time with an overly long setup before you get to the prices. Don’t take me through the dog and pony show of giving you my information and the opportunity to scan receipts to evoke a sunk cost fallacy (“I spent time doing all of this, might as well commit!!”) to get me to sign up when I finally get to the pricing screen. The type of people looking for an app like this are already likely people who know they are going to have to make some sort of payment for the services rendered. Give me the price, and the option to go through that little pony show you have up now to see how the app runs if I’m not sure. I’ll decide from there whether or not I want to go through an actual trial and purchase. I’m not naïve enough to think this is free and the ordeal you have to go through in the beginning is enough to make me question what else is hiding just out of plain sight with this company..Nope. ✓ Love the features, but the dollar amount on individual items keeps turning up way wrongI thought this app was so cool, especially because you could select individual items within receipts and move them to different folders or categories. For example if I bought home goods and personal items, I could select the personal items to go in that folder and the home goods to go in a separate folder. That is amazing. However, the whole concept is ruined because the scanner doesn’t input the amounts of those items correctly. The amount as a whole is correct but it kept getting WAY off when it came to each item within a receipt. Deleted my subscription right away. If they can fix that issue within the app it would be well worth the 24 dollars a year.RissermoniqueVersion: 0.46.7

✓ This is a great app… if you only make 10 purchases a month to scan receipts fromI used a verse app for months without any limitation on the amount of receipts I could scan. Now the app says I have to upgrade and pay to scan my receipts because I’ve already used my 10 scans for the month. So if you’re making more than 10 purchases in one month, it’s a great app. But if you buy more than 10 things in one month at 10 different places, you’re better off using another app where you can keep your receipts in one place and not have to physically keep them..MufrobVersion: 0.67.1

✓ HorribleI downloaded this app a few months ago and started uploading all of my receipts. I went to open it today and now it is asking me to pay for a subscription when I first started there was nothing I could just open it and start downloading receipt. If they are going to start creating a paid app, then they have to allow those of us who have been grandfathered into the app someway to get in but now all of my receipts that I have downloaded the last few months are gone, some of them were business but I will never get back for tax purposes. ✓ EReceipts are not workingNeed help with the e receipts every time I forward the email it doesn’t work. I went to the app support link on the App Store and it leads me to a web version of the app. No help at all. I think the e receipts should have better instructions in the beginning. It’s very confusing. And I’m begging for the setting to be able to turn off the additional emails I get after I forward an email receipt. It’s way too much clutter. Also would love some folder icons more inclusive to women. Like a cosmetics one and for clothes maybe some dresses instead of a men’s work shirt. Would also be nice to have different colors in each for different family members. But mostly I just want eReceipts to work again. ✓ Outside of USI hate to bring the rating average down but I love the concept of this and am just unhappy that it is only available in the US, It would be okay if the app said it was only available in US, or just not in the App Store, but it is. ✓ Scans are not processing correctlyI saw this app advertised a month or two back and I was curious to try it out against Evernote or Expensify. I initially like the scan feature and it’s ability to cut and make make clean copies of the receipts or documents I was scanning. However after a few times I started to notice inconsistencies and errors. Several of my scanned documents were scanning blurry, and automatically coming up with the wrong business name, date, etc. A scan for let’s say Starbucks Coffee would display as “spectrum” with a bogus date. So I found myself having to manually adjust the error. Additionally the scans were coming out blurry for documents or not always auto cropping on large receipts. Additionally the app doesn’t appear to save this info to the cloud so I’m concerned my info won’t back up and be saved if I lose my phone. Additionally it would be nice to have a way to sun group receipts or categories based on store/practitioner/topic/etc. rather than by year. I also find that the document size for scanning is difficult to collect when trying to take photos. The emailing of receipts and not stop email confirmations and having to manually enter in the info for the receipts is also annoying. Apple app receipts were not scanning as the vendor and only appearing as apple. Super annoying. Otherwise I like the app and hope they can make some improvements to make this more function-able..YellowkiwiVersion: 0.46.13

✓ Needs improvementI’ve had this app for a couple weeks now and have probably scanned 25 receipts. I have had to go in and manually correct amounts on almost every receipt. If the receipts are very short, it isn’t as much of an issue but sometimes they are very long and I’m only able to have the line items automatically show up for the first image, then it appears I have to manually enter the remaining items. Very tedious and time consuming. If this is what I need to do, I’m just going to cancel and resume my boring excel spreadsheets..Mouse2005Version: 0.46.7

✓ Don’t install - bait and switch for paymentThis has to be the most annoying business ploy in the world. They let you install the app, suggesting it’s free ( says in app purchases ). They scam me into giving them my mobile number to create an account in order to use the app. Then when they have my email and phone number I get informed that in order to use the app I need to agreed to a subscription via Apple who has my card on file. I can’t begin to describe how deceitful this company is in their business practices!!! Enough for me to write an app review which I never bother to do. Shame on this company and I hope others write similar reviews against this company. Ohh and I can’t find a mechanism for them to forget my mobile and email. I am so surprised apple actually allows this sort of shady business practice on their platform. It’s a scam and should not be labeled free. It should be clearly labeled a subscription. Then I could have protected my information from the wolves. Who knows how they will use it if they are willing to be this deceitful from the gate…..Shocked1212Version: 0.56.0
