✓ Excellent App but Limited WidgetThe application itself is done absolutely brilliantly and is easily my favorite to use. First the good stuff: The UI is super clean and neat. It syncs to your iPhone and iPad. Click to copy. Browser Extension. Optional Menu Bar Icon and Widget. Everything "just works", and the entire design is fluid and intuitive. There are two caveats to this app that make it difficult to adopt for my use case: 1: The Wdiget is limited to only 3 codes, including on the Phone. Other applications use the "old" style of iPhone widget to give a much bigger list (9 in my case). Unfortunately I need that widget or my workflow will slow down. 2: The app does not support bulk importing/exporting of QR codes. Things would have gone a lot faster if I could have just dragged a stack of QR codes onto the importer rather than having to select them one by one..Version: 3.22.1

It is secure but you can make it more user frendly if you want, backups are on iCloud so there is no need for a phone number and no way to get the codes without access to iCloud. ✓ Worth every centAs a general rule I do’t like free apps - the old adage if you’re not paying for the product, you are the product rings loudly in my ears every time I see something “FREE”. This is especially true when it comes to anything security based; paying for apps so they are not incentivised to sell your data or passwords or whatever else is a good idea, at least IMO. For $14.99 a year I get a great app that syncs across all my apple devices, easily allows me to incorporate 2FA on every possible app or log-in and has an incredible support team - if you are serious about security but don’t think it should be a hassle to be secure, then this is the app for you..Version: 3.9.7

✓ Absolutely needs a "Snap to menu bar" featureThis is a great app, but it's missing an important feature. I use multiple desktops and displays, and I find it inconvenient that the Authenticator UI acts like a normal window instead of a fixed menu bar dropdown. When opening Authenticator in the menu bar, very often it will switch back to a previous desktop I had open and this is very unintuitive. Please add an option to make this app snap to the menu bar and act like a dropdown instead of a normal window!.Version: 3.15.0

✓ Very functional app with great supportI’ve been using the Authenticator app for a few weeks having moved from a competitor with a similar but shorter name and am very impressed with the features in this app. All the features you could ask for without too much clutter or fuss. I use it on iOS and Mac, with the account synced to a few devices. The syncing works perfectly and is fully automated once you’ve set up your devices. The iOS/Mac widgets are really handy too. Had to contact their support team recently re a problem with the app and the problem was solved and updated within a day! They also offered some workarounds whilst the update was approved by the App Store so I wasn’t locked out of anything in the meantime. My only requests (for the iOS app) would be to be able to upload your own image for sites that the app doesn’t recognise, but their library of icons is pretty vast anyway so there’s normally something similar you can use.
