✓ Beautiful…Simply Beautiful….The story, the action, the fact that you can progress at your own pace, the fact that it’s 100% free to play, and the fact that there is so much to do and learn makes it such a beautiful game. I’m going to spare you your time so you can play the game, I simply want to say, that even tho it’s slightly complicated, that it’s worth it, the choices you make do dictate the outcome of the story drastically. That’s what makes the game beautiful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who’s a fan of turn based rpgs or to anyone who wants to hop on the train of turn based rpgs..Version: 1.1.184

✓ Loved it!I really like the game. There are some difficult challenges early on, but you have plenty of tasks to build xp and swing back around to it when you are stronger. ✓ Amazing as alwaysThis was as good if not better than their vampire game. I really liked this and hope to see more, I finished the game but can tell they will be adding more in. What’s across the bridge? What about those screaming people? Etc etc. I encountered a glitch on the auction quest, I restarted the game during it and now I can’t attend it again. It would be nice to be able to go to a previous save as I have questions on some of my choices. I regret peeing on the yarn ball for instance. ✓ GreatDidn’t immediately love it, but then vampire’s fall is one hell of a game to try and better. But the more i play it, the more I find I can’t put it down. Hope to be playing it for some time to come. Hope the rebirth system or something like is included in this game, but haven’t got that far to find out yet. Edit - I’ve just beaten Valdor and Penelope and was hoping another map or at least another area would open up ? Can’t find any. Thought maybe it had something to do with the bridge but the bridge is still not mended. Absolutely loved vampire’s fall because of the extra maps and rebirth systems. ✓ Great game just a few things…I seem to be at a weird spot where all my quest seem to be fighting tough enemies.(about 4-5 hours in) I should be able to grind out the few levels I need in order to beat them effectively but will take some time. I would really like to see some sort of multiplayer function in the game. I get the game is new and may be hard to implement but I’ll be patient. I’d also really like to see something added for characters or pets some kind of cosmetics I could buy to help fund further development. ✓ You won’t regret trying this gameThis really is an amazing game. No heavy monetisation, no intrusive interface, really fun to play and explore. I haven’t been able to leave this game alone since I downloaded it. The only thing that will spoil this for me is when I finally run out of content to complete ;( The devs have outdone themselves with this one. ✓ Fun gameReminds me of some of the older pc games from back in the day. So far, a lot of fun. Lots of quests. Some seem to be bugged where all of the items on the quest are marked off but the quest doesn’t go away. Hopefully that doesn’t affect how far I can go in the game. Having a way to abandon or restart a quest would be nice. Only request so far is a “flee” option when you run across someone in the field to battle. Seems like a pretty standard function for this type of game. Need an option to run away from overpowered monsters. Edited: figured out how to flee. Lol. 5 stars.Version: 1.1.174
✓ Work of artWith todays market of saturated gachas this game is a breath of fresh air. I love how in-depth the class system is and action combat. The pros, turn based action game with real consequences. Great writing with some serious funny lines. The bad, rough start with the npc telling you where you can’t go get old super fast. Once you get past the tutorial and started the open world the game’s difficulty spiked and then when killing monsters prompted the you can pay for quick power up. My main complaint with its tough fights is that you the healer charges for healing. No one would play dark souls if you couldn’t heal up at bonfires...Version: 1.1.160

✓ Game currency is just a save file thingIf you reinstall you lose your witch pearls (game currency). Nothing in game worth using it on (which is great from a player perspective) but felt it was weird that it’s just like an item in your save file. There’s a “restore purchases” button but it does nothing. Otherwise, good game in general and outstanding game for a free game. Too bad :D half of every player made choice may very well put innocent people in the dirt and it was all unintentional so just throw that unnecessary remorse out the window! Try to look past small issues like typos on your skills sheet and accept the fact that being poor is proper gameplay. ✓ Don’t listen to complaintsThink of it like a soulsborne game. The game is hard but fair. Of course some parts are hard right away, the game is meant to be hard. Just explore and do your best and the game is actually pretty easy. Just level up and get better gear it’s a fairly common theme in old school rpgs. ✓ Dark and comical executed wellI kinda laughed at the review surrounding the cursing- it’s a reasonable issue when you’re a parent- but still funny. Anyway, about the actual game. Vendir is the first game i’ve played from these creators; and it was just- good. Like. Really good. The combat is fluid and expansive, it’s pretty open to many OP exploitations if you’re smart enough to know how to actually use the system. Fights rarely drag on TOO long, but personally i’ve had fights last a bit, yet still fun. Dialogue is written extremely well, and there’s a certain bit early in the game where you can talk down someone from suicide- the bit is not only funny but also somehow wholesome for a game which seems to take more distinct turns into dark humour and occasionally meta humour. And even though often meta humour is never a good sign- it’s used pretty well here too- with some parts even explained with canon elements. The devs will know what I mean, considering how random they are. My only gripe are some of the quests being a little boring. And it’s somehow not the fetch quests most of the time. Personally? It’s the endless fight quests. They’re few in number- and only 1 is relevant to the story, being a monastery quest. And that’s about all. Vendir is a great get- as long as you’re not getting it for a child! It’s definitely open to it’s language and dark parts- so avoid it if they’re not ready..Version: 1.1.189

✓ Amazing!!! Also some suggestionsFirst off, let me just say all your games are amazing. I will play anything by this company. I love the old school vibe. I think this game built from what Vampire’s Fall had and made it, impossibly, even better! I especially loved how challenging it was. At first I was very annoyed, I kept dying to rats and peasants. No way for a hero to go! But, this difficulty is what made it so rewarding, being a weakling to a powerhouse with my team was great! The sweet feeling of completely demolishing enemies that used to one-hit me, taking out annoying packs of rats by one move, this was so satisfying. As for story, I loved it. The text is very humorous and I love how it comments on the typical fantasy tropes. Much like Vampire’s Fall the story is great. Suggestions: - Personally, I really liked the pet system of Vampire’s Fall and would love if I could get a Dragon companion or pet. Even better as companion cause I would love to add a snarky dragon friend to my party. - Armor sets. I would love if there were full armor sets for mythical items at least. Also maybe some boss specific loot. Like the boss cloaks won from bosses in Vampire’s Fall. - Merchant items list. I wandered from one stall to the next looking for items and also trying to find the items again once I had the cash. If there was a key via the map to see what merchants offer what after having been there, that would be extremely helpful. Comment: I hope I will eventually be able to use the ship in later game updates as well as cross that bridge…I need to have a talk with the bridge builders. ✓ Great, but…I like almost all the things about this game except for the fact that there can be additional loot found after battle that you have to pay real money to unlock. There have been times I get no loot from a fight and then they “find a chest” on the battlefield that I can’t open because I’m not paying real money for loot 🤷🏻♂️ Really ends up making the whole game feel pay to loot as you find more and more chests and fewer fight rewards..Version: 1.1.174

✓ Ideas Amazing gameY’all should expand on the choices form the beginning since the 4 choices have little impact in main quest besides some small extra rewards. Maybe implement faction are expand the carver mission we’re cool but if there certain items lock behind certain merchants that would be cool so a player has to choose to side with a guild for reasons. I was kinda disappointed when the choice of leaving the scars had no different dialogue from the choices removing them after the sequence he does not even talk about it it would have been cool if his sister at lest said something about it are if he was dejected by still having them. Maybe implantation of reputation system for different towns are major towns that you can buy a house when you get it high enough and discount in that town are city. The mission can be kill quest that you can do sinceEnd game had around 150k and had nothing to spend it on the rarer gems are hard to come by and it would be cool when y’all open up the bridge if we can buy some from a vendor at lest the common kind. The masochist tree is little to be desired compared to vanguard it’s obsolete maybe if the perks hand something along the lines of the enemy did a certain present of range he would heal are if the tree granted grater resistance are health since vanguard shield and stun on hit is just way better. Higher xp farming location the dragons give less xp than the mermaid creatures on the most dangerous corner in the kingdom they give around 3k with the right perks so the fact that the dragons only give around 1.5k is a little disappointing and epic gear should be at lest one of each type in the market the best hammer is from a brutal and if you were rolling a masochist you would be playing with a hammer and probably the axe in the capital as your second hand. And hopefully y’all do a rebirth system like Vampire Fall Origins seeing as at the beginning of the game you can persuade the guards not to fight which would only be possible on a second run..Version: 1.1.187

✓ ChallengingGame suffers from balancing issues. Difficulty scales much faster than rewards needed to survive. Not uncommon to have entire party wiped out (near starting area). Majority of rewards are spent on healing and reaches a point where it’s near impossible to progress. This doesn’t feel like an intentional pay-wall as there’s no in-game option to buy coin, just Witch Pearls which don’t really have much value in the early game. If the quality of Vampire Origins is any indication, I’m confident dev will address these issues. EDIT: Gave it another go, key to early game survival: craft as much bread as possible, don’t blow coin on healing, save it for gear, and when in doubt, flee..Version: 1.1.165
