✓ FrustratingI downloaded this app because I saw 14,000 ads on tiktok and finally said “what the heck, I’ll check it out”. Had the app, clothes interested me, but I needed to take a better look when I had some free time to give it my full attention. A couple hours later I had a notification indicator on the app. (The little red “1” that appears in the top corner and in the folder corner for iPhones) Now, there are two types of iPhone owners… those with tons of these indicators on their screen (probably 1578 unread emails too)… and those with not a single indicator on their screen. They address it as soon as one appears to eliminate it from their screen. Blatantly, I’m the latter. So this indicator shows up. I open the app to address it, and it’s over this little envelope thing in the corner. Click that and it wants me to sign in or sign up. Now, I’ve only had this app for a couple hours and I’m not ready to commit to years of ad emails from this company. So I back out of this screen and close the app. But the indicator is still there! I can not get rid of this without signing up! I’m miffed! I close my phone and try to enjoy my day, knowing there is an indicator on my screen! Then, A SECOND INDICATOR! That’s it! I tried to address it again, more thoroughly. No option to fix this without signing up! That’s it! So I deleted the app! If this is gonna be an all in or all out relationship from the start, I’m out. ✓ Never get my refundNothing was fitting me so I asked for a refund. I filled up the form on the website, I sent back the clothes in a package to the address they gave me which cost me over $20 to ship back and more than a month later, I still haven’t received my refund. Also when I go on my profil on the website, there’s no sign of my order or return. I would not recommend buying from them still you might not see your money back if your order doesn’t fit..Version: 1.19.0
✓ Sent defective item and refuse to replaceThey sent me a skirt with a cut in the fabric. They offered a gift card to replace it, but didn’t offer to cover the shipping.. which means I have to pay out of pocket for shipping to have a new one sent. I tried explaining to them several times that this was unreasonable but they kept ignoring the shipping and just asking if I want a refund or a gift card. HORRIBLE customer service. ✓ Never Received My OrderI bought several items that were on sale for my daughter’s birthday to send to her university and we never received them. I ordered on August 24. The package is lost somewhere in Marbleton, Georgia and arrive there on September 4. No one seems to know where my order is not only that but I’ve now lost those sale items, so for me to purchase them again it’s going to cost a lot more than when I purchased them in August. ✓ ReturnsAbsolutely impossible to return any items. They make you take photos AND submit all your body measurements before they’ll issue a refund. That’s a breach of privacy and against the law to ask ANYONE to submit this private info just to get a refund on clothing. Disgusting!!.Version: 1.20.1

✓ Customer service is not goodI ordered a pair of joggers and when they came they didn’t fit as expected, so I initiated a return so I could reorder my size. The return has been “pending” on my account for almost two weeks. I tried to reach out with no response. ✓ Non-inclusive sizingI saw an add for a cute pair of pants, so I downloaded the app only to find out that the largest available size is XL (14). Personally I don’t think that is an accurate size label. So I begrudgingly went to the ‘curve’ section to find pants in a size 16, and there were only 10 options 🤦♀️. Separating clothing by curve or plus size is not only inefficient and unnecessary, but it promotes negative body image, especially when the clothes are targeted towards teenage girls. And, in most cases, the plus section offers fewer, baggier, options. It’s time we just make the same clothes in a wide range of sizes, the companies would make more money anyways..Version: 1.11.0

✓ Very hard to navigate.This app is almost impossible to navigate! For heaven’s sake, where is the “back” button or the “home” button to go from the product back to the category or the home page? (I am using the app on an iPad Pro, just for reference) I love the clothing but I am so tired of trying to navigate the app that I am going back to shopping via my web browser. ✓ Quality good but..Every time I order from this app, the quality of the clothing that I get is very good. I get nice comfy, stretchy jeans that are perfect for work. I can actually move around in them however, everything takes absolutely forever to actually be delivered. That is my only problem is that the delivery time is way too long..Version: 1.14.0

✓ App sent through 5 orders while saying “card declined”When I went to order I assumed I put something in wrong with my card info, as it kept declining but was working elsewhere. But apparently it sent through five orders (almost $1,000) while giving me that error message. Now I’ve contacted customer service through Facebook, the app and email but there’s no prompt way to contact them and if I don’t contact them before it’s shipped I’ll be charged. However everything is good until you have to deal with customer service and returns. First of all, I received no notification or message when they received my returned items. I have to chase them to check the status of my return package. When they found it, they can’t find any of my order information. When we finally straighten that out, they cannot find my method of payment. Took more time with that. Then they ended up issuing me a gift card. Then I try to use the gift card credit. The card/code is not even valid. I am still in the process of chasing my refund. I have to keep emailing them to remind them not to forget about me. It has been MONTHS. Waste of my time. ✓ Return Process is a NightmareI’m growing very frustrated with the return process. I think the owners have forgotten that purchasing clothes online is a gamble. The pants I received were great quality but I didn’t like the fit. I’m now jumping through hoops via email back and forth multiple times to try to return them, and this is Halara’s official return process. Whatever you buy, be certain you’ll like it or else you’ll be stuck doing the same thing. Technology has progressed so far; it shouldn’t be this difficult..Version: 1.13.0

✓ EhThe app itself has issues. Every time you open the app, you are greeted with a 5 second ad for whatever product they want to push on you. The returns system is strange and sometimes broken. You must take a photo of the product in the original packaging. I’m fine with that, but it becomes a problem when you want to return multiple items and the photos will only upload to one item. As for the store, I’m disappointed with that too. I ordered some shorts and joggers. The joggers I bought did not look anything like the photo. They were a different shade of blue and were more like baggy leggings than joggers. I am now returning them. The only problem I have is that there are not free return shipping. The other shorts I am returning simply don’t fit right on me, so I’m ok with paying for return shipping. However, for the joggers, it feels a little wrong to ask me to pay for return shipping when they don’t look anything like the photo. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it. It isn’t exactly a scam, but it feels scammy. If you want cheap clothes, I would honestly try the SHEIN lottery. Sometimes the quality is far below HALARA, but sometimes it is on par. ✓ Took to longDidn’t receive purchase in time for what I needed. It took 2 weeks. They are nice very thick material not breathable for active wear. Unable to return them bc they don’t offer it. Was on sale bought 2 pair. Unless your skinny with a perfect body they want look very good. I have a tummy from a c-section and the top of pants aren’t wide enough to cover lower abdominal area so it pooches out. They do feel good but only for cooler weather.
