Version 2.0.530 June 2023Version 2.0.5 of Solstice fixes a bug where sunrise, culmination, and sunset times display the user device's timezone instead of the chosen location’s time zone..

- A new Solar Chart widget and complication for the iOS Lock Screen and Apple Watch faces.
- Widget performance, reliability, and design enhancements.

Version 1.4.427 April 2022v1.4.4 of Solstice fixes an issue on M1 Macs which caused the app to crash when the location picker is opened..

Despite its familiar appearance, version 1.4 of Solstice is chock-full of improvements and new features.
**Onboarding and Location**
- The onboarding screen has been redesigned to allow new users to choose to use the app without turning on location access
- Additionally, you can now use the app after revoking location access. It will continue to use your last cached location, or you can enter a location manually. Note that on watchOS, location access is always required.
**Notifications**
- You can now schedule notifications at a time relative to sunrise/sunset. For example, “15 minutes before sunrise”.
**Widgets**
- The countdown widget has a new design that cycles between different sky colours throughout the day.
- Widgets have been updated to handle large dynamic type sizes
**Bug Fixes**
- The app has previously marked the June and December solstices by their dates alone, rather than their exact times. This has been fixed in this version, counting down to the exact time of the next/previous solstice.
- The Apple Watch complications did not reliably update to show the most recent data. This has been fixed.
- General performance and reliability improvements..

Version 1.2.201 October 2021This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Version 1.2.2 of Solstice fixes a bug in the Settings view on iPadOS caused by the “Siri” section. For the time-being, this section has been removed from the app, but the Remaining Daylight shortcut should still be available in the Shortcuts app.
Version 1.2.1 of Solstice adds some small changes to the iOS and iPadOS app, and one big change for Apple Watch users; the app can be installed on your wrist, and brings two complications with it.
The Sundial complication shows the sundial view, showing the current position of the sun, and on the Infograph Modular watch face also showing the sunrise and sunset times. The Solar Event complication shows the time of the next sunset or sunrise, depending on the time of day. And of course, tapping a complication opens the full app, where you’ll find almost exactly the same features that can be found in the iOS and iPadOS apps.
On iOS and iPadOS, the app design is slightly simpler. The “Daylight Remaining” row has been removed; to see this information, simply tap the “Total Daylight” row to switch between them..
Version 1.1.429 June 2021This version of Solstice adds a new notification preference to help people impacted by Seasonal Affective Disorder, or SAD. Now, you can select how notifications should behave when daylight duration is decreasing: either by removing the daylight change from notifications, or suppressing notifications altogether.
v1.1.4 also fixes a handful of small bugs and design issues..
Version 1.1.309 June 2021Version 1.1.3 of Solstice updates the UI to better adhere to Apple’s platform standards and create a more intuitive interface, with fewer custom controls..
Version 1.1.120 February 2021v1.1 introduced a bug where timezones other than UTC+0 were showing incorrect times for sunrise/sunset in the app. This release fixes the bug; apologies for the inconvenience!.
