✓ Great gameI am enjoying this game tremendously, the only tiny glitch I found was in the crossword puzzle area in the death at the dancefloor stage the refresh button was hidden behind the show all areas of interest button. Had to restart the game every time I wanted to reset that puzzle to solve it otherwise I would have used up 600 coins by accident. There were a few areas that this similar glitch appeared. ✓ Two thingsJust started playing and am finding the touch accuracy for some clues is a bit tight, I’ve used hints twice to be told to look under mats which I’d already poked at half a dozen times each. I also feel like the user interface/controls could use some smoothing out. ✓ GlitchyI really like this game but the game will glitch and not allow me to click the items you need, so you’ll have to restart the level without your energy or coins recharging. And sometimes you’ll need to move a piece into place and it will skew really far off to the side so that your finger reaches the end of the phone and the piece is still all the way off to the side. ✓ Very fun but stuckI’ve made it through all chapter 1 and most of chapter 2. I’ve been able to solve all the puzzles without using hints and have figured out the logic to all of them, even though a few seemed a bit odd and not straight forward. But now I’m on chapter 2 level 22, master bedroom. There are 2 puzzles, the purses in the closet, and the orange and grey dot puzzle below the window, who’s clues just do t seem to make any sense. Both have a paper to clue you into the solution but I’ve tried interpreting it every way I can think of and nothing works. I really don’t want to use the hint system and have it just outright solving it without knowing what the solution actually was. So it’s a fun game, but can leave you stuck and frustrated if puzzles don’t make sense..Version: 2.0.7.3

✓ Pretty goodI like the game for the most part. The hints are absolutely terrible though. The first hint might give me what I need, or usually I have figured that much out already. The second hint is absolutely useless, it doesn’t actually give any hints just shows you where the first hint is talking about, which I have already figured out. ✓ Brilliant game!I absolutely love this game and the design and details are amazing. Each location in a chapter is fun to do. I have to admit that I sometimes struggle with the intricate mathematics ones and have to find a walkthrough for those and exacting positions of things can sometimes be tricky - Planetarium, I’m looking at you! But overall, everything has been fine while playing. One thing I would advise is to try and complete a room and not leave it uncompleted and exit the game. While progress is saved, sometimes, if a candle for example is used to light up a room, when you go back in, the candle will not be lit and the lighter or matches you used to light it will have disappeared so you have no choice but to restart the level, which is a bit annoying. I’m a little addicted to the game, so it’s frustrating now that there’s lots of rooms in the latest chapter ‘coming soon’ and I can’t play it anymore..Version: 2.0.7.3

✓ Fun & challengingThere are a wide variety of puzzles to figure out in each room. They get progressively harder as you go and it happens quickly. There are some puzzles where there isn’t quite enough information to move forward or at least point in the right direction so walkthroughs are helpful when you can find them. Though occasionally the walkthrough answer will be different than the right answer. I’ve run into issues where parts of the puzzle don’t work properly which is why I didn’t give 5 stars. If the bugs were worked out, that would be awesome. The cupboard in chapter two in the guest room doesn’t always work on the left side..Version: 2.0.8

There’s lots of levels to complete and there are no ad interruptions (although you can get lots of bonuses from watching the ads- I reckon it’s worth it!!) The only complaint really is the hints aren’t super helpful. For instance in the print shop I clicked on hint and it just said those numbers on the mousepad look familiar. I already knew that but was unsure how to use the number. I clicked on hint again hoping for more info and all it did was circle the register. Again I knew the numbers had something to do with the register. That brings up an issue… some of the puzzles are so small and there’s no way to zoom into them to see better. In level 19, the Exchange Office, I spent a ridiculous amount of time on the rope puzzle because I couldn’t see the ropes. I had to Google a picture to zoom into it to follow the course of the ropes. If this issue was fixed I’d give it the full 5 stars but at the moment as an iPhone app it lacks that ability to see the smaller items..Version: 2.0.8

Too manny ads to gain coins, coins used to only give you something already done then when you leave the hint is gone so have to watch double the ads to get the second clue. And a couple of puzzles make no logical sense, or if they do, the hint final solution does not show you the rationale behind the answer. I’ve only needed to give up and use the hints to get the answer 3 times, but it would be nice to know the steps rather than just be given the answer. Some earlier rooms have bad glitches so you can’t move things where they need to go to get to the next step, but with time and patience you can get over them. For example, I’m currently stuck on working out a puzzle where there’s a box in a wardrobe with numbers around and on top, I watched 2 videos to use a hint which was “I wonder what’s hiding in the closet”…I know what’s in the closet, I need a hint to help SOLVE it! ✓ Frustrating layout!I’m addicted to this game, but I’m giving a 4 in hopes that they will fix the main playing screen layout. Maybe I just have fat palms, but I can’t tell you how many times I have used my coins for a hint without meaning to not wanting to. At least if they would have a prompt that would ask if you want to use your coins for a clue before taking them. ✓ Excellent puzzle escape game with LOTS of levelsThis is a super engaging game with 2 full game sets. Each set has over 20 levels. There are a couple of story lines if your interested, you can follow along, but mostly, you go from room to room, solving puzzles to escape each rom. The downsides: it’s a view from above style game with zoom ins, not quite 1st person, but the graphics are still really good, so they compensate for that. The puzzles are nice and challenging (and a few that I could never understand (translation issues?), so much so you’ll need the hints and or various walkthroughs to get you through. There are also a few bugs. A big one is on the smaller tablets(iPad mini) the 500pt view hotspot button ends up being right on top of a couple of actual action spots so the only way to complete the action (ie unscrew a grate corner), is to use 500pts to activate the hotspot view to get it out of your way - SUPER ANNOYING. The other one is that some of the ads bogg the system down and take forever to run (if your lucky) or crash the game altogether, losing all your changes for that level..Version: 2.0.3.4

This would be fine if it weren’t for the fact that the harder levels do take much longer than one sitting to complete unless you’ve got a lot of time to spare to stare at this game directly.
